We've heard a lot about it. Within the last year, Jeff Grubb and others have spoken from behind the scenes knowledge of, oh, this thing is happening. It's a two point. We were saying 2.5D. I don't know if we know that for sure, but we know it's a 2D Greek God of war, sort of like a prequel situation. Who knows? But a Greek God of war, Metroidvania, is how it's being described. And so if that shows up here, that'll be exciting. That theoretically was supposed to come out last year but then got internally delayed and so that's something they could maybe expect to show up. I think we're talking about things that we know is going to show up. I mean, marathon.

I think that's we're going to get a big chunk of marathon.

Not in a full time manner, no. Much like I am with a lot of extraction shooters. I know it's not at the end of the day going to be the genre that I gravitate towards, but with everything that Bungie has shown off for Marathon, they are. They have such an upward momentum that I'm really stoked about all the videos that they've been releasing. Similar to Crimson Desert releasing a bunch of videos. Just showing off more and more cool shit. I get more and more hyped for Marathon and I will likely play that for a little over a week. And that's not to mean that the game's bad. That's just the genre is not for me. We did have a super chat earlier from a gentleman named Greg Miller from Kind of Funny Games.

I think I'm a believer now of Silent Hill Townfall or whatever that was. Yeah, they have the transmission right after this. So I'm excited to see some type of Silent Hill thing. Where is it set? Is it in a different country? Are we just going to stay in America? Is it going to be something revolving around Silent Hill 2? Are we going to try to do that? I don't know. I think we are going to see Silent Hill here though.

Bless. Let me kick it to you because of course, back in the day with P.S. i love you, XOXO, you would talk about a game with one Janet Garcia. And that is where I get. One Eyed Joe, writing in with the Super Chat, says today is the day. After decades of neglect, a true PlayStation franchise finally gets the love it deserves with a remake or a remaster of the OG trilogy of Jak and Daxter.

Oh, no, that's not going to happen. I mean, that'd be nice though. That'd be, that'd be, that'd be neat. But no, that's not going to happen, unfortunately.

Okay, what could they go into the back catalog and wow you with anything? What are the games that, like, we talk about the big titles from PlayStation. What are the weird, fun back catalog games that you want to bring brought back?

I mean, I honestly, I don't expect current PlayStation to dig into the back catalog that much.

[Roger]

That's for Astrobot.

Yeah, that's for Astrobot to do. And yeah, that's just not the ethos of PlayStation nowadays. That said, like, I think there could be things like, what if you brought back a remaster of infamous, you know, if you want to get, if you want to get fun with it. What if you did something with Gravity Rush? Because there's still the slated Gravity Rush adaptation that they're working on.

Patapon's out there.

They have the Patapon adaptation, but yeah,

they've done stuff with. Wait, there's an adaptation?

Yeah, they're doing like some type of like animated thing.

What do you envision it as? What would it be? You know, arena or.

[Mike]

No, it would be a large scale. It would be very similar to Battlefield, but I'd go less than Battlefield. I wouldn't go 36 on 36. I'd go 12v12 or 15 on 15. So it still feels large, but it's more. It's a little bit smaller than that. A little more tactical.

Yeah, so much about SOCOM is like,

yeah, stealth and not Team arena, but just a little bit larger than Team arena, where it is we're working on comms. We're using stealth. We're in the bushes. It's one snipe shot. You hear it ring out, Everybody slows down, that kind of stuff.

Since we're living in, like, the dreams territory right now. Speaking of dreams, one thing. If you're talking about bringing back old things or bringing back a studio that's been dormant for a little bit, I would love to see something from media Molecule. Of course. Dreams came out in, what, 20? 20, 2021. It's been a very long time. We know they're working on something. I would like to. I would like to see them possibly return to little big planet. See what you can do with that. The last thing we got from that was little big planet. Sack boy's big adventure at the line. I love little bit of and I love that game. But a proper little big Planet. It's been a long time. I think that. I think that could be cool to bring back.

Going really quick back to the God of war. I have a super chat coming in from Jace, who writes and says the God of war game will have you playing as Atreus and spartan soldier Kratos named his son after. Oh, you will play as Atreus, the spartan soldier who Kratos named his son after. What do you think about that? Going off of a Kratos lineup, Roger. And not playing as Kratos.

If we saw Far Cry or something from a Ubisoft. Yeah, we're. We're where? We're wondering. Black Flag remake can't be the only thing that's on the docket. They need something else. Maybe it's time to drop something larger.

All the various enemies, items and mission objectives are all designed to interact with each other in dynamic ways that create emergent gameplay and endless replayable chaos. That means your decisions really matter and creativity and improvisation are key. We really want players to try things and think outside the box. Like hacking an alien terminal to provide intel to the rest of the team. Or being bombarded by Killbot drop pods. Or barely escaping with your life. And if you do die, don't worry. So long as one of you makes it back to home base, you'll be reprinted and ready to try again. The home base is a place for your team to readjust their strategy, evolve your loadout and choose rewards from an increasing array of powerful gear and upgrades. Each act of the probability map culminates in one of multiple boss battles.
