From Origin to Legend I need to become a symbol.
Mike
I need to become Batman.
Greg Miller
Become the hero. Someone's gotta step up, build a legacy.
Andy Cortez
Let's get to work.
Mike
You wanna get nuts?
Greg Miller
Let's get nuts. I'm allergic to nuts. Lego Legacy of the Dark Knight. This is my favorite part. Available May 22 on PlayST Xbox Series XS and PC. Rated E10 for ages 10 and up.
Mike
Kinda Funny proudly presents Kinda Feudi. And now your host, Greg Miller.
Greg Miller
What's up, everybody? Welcome to the Internet's favorite game show, Kinda Feudi. I'm your host, Greg Miller, and I've surveyed nearly 1700 kinda funny best friends about video games and. And it's up to our competitors to guess their answers for maximum points.
Andy Cortez
I don't think we liked the hoodie that much.
Tim Geddes
Where's the orange suit, Greg?
Greg Miller
Y' all are wearing the same clothes too. Dumbasses. All right, how are the comedy shows? Andy, how are the comedy shows?
Andy Cortez
They were packed.
Greg Miller
No elbow room in there, of course. Representing San Francisco. It's the one, the only, Tim Geddes.
Tim Geddes
Oh, so excited to be here. I want to win.
Greg Miller
Representing the RGV where they don't play no games. It's Andy Cortez.
Andy Cortez
Back to back, baby.
Greg Miller
Do it. And representing the Lake Tahoe, Colorado area. Got it. The one, the only snow. Mike. Mike.
Mike
Greg. Thanks for having me. I'm excited to be back here and I'm looking for a win.
Greg Miller
You've been to Red Rocks?
Mike
I've been to Red Rocks many of times.
Andy Cortez
That was always the coolest, like, venue to see people play.
Tim Geddes
I want to go there. Me and you, Eddie. We should like, one day, like, trek there.
Andy Cortez
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Is it Red Rock in Vegas, though?
Mike
No, Red Rock Casino out in Vegas.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Andy Cortez
It's like what?
Greg Miller
Jen definitely dragged me hiking to something called Red Rocks.
Andy Cortez
No. Bands play shows at the Red Rocks. And the background is like, just all these mountains. Like, you're like, you're in a rock.
Greg Miller
And that's from like, spoilers, like a horizon Easter egg too. Right. That was like, the thing people were able to like, oh, this is where it is.
Andy Cortez
Remember Incubus at Red Rocks? It's like, damn. It looks like a cool concept.
Greg Miller
I gotta start off the horizon red rock question I had in here. Of course, it wouldn't be kind to future if they weren't playing for a fabulous prize. Barrett, what are they playing for?
Andy Cortez
It's Greg's SGF swag bag.
Greg Miller
Wow. That's right, everybody. I'm going to SGF to cover this for kinda funny as I always do. And every year they give me a swag bag that I immediately stop at the garbage can, take out the mat and throw away. I will bring it home for whoever wins this one.
Andy Cortez
Can we swap the awards from last?
Tim Geddes
No, no.
Greg Miller
Oh, no, no, no. The Knicks tickets. No, they've already been left in your name at every company call it. We left them their phone number too, so if they don't show up, they gotta call you.
Tim Geddes
There's real value here. This is Pandora's box situation.
Greg Miller
Could be something good, could be something bad. Yeah. You know what I mean? Who knows what it'll be?
Mike
Could be another notebook.
Greg Miller
Oh, it'd definitely be a notebook. You'll definitely get an SGF notebook.
Andy Cortez
I'm definitely gonna use that one.
Mike
Really?
Andy Cortez
Journal for sure.
Mike
Okay.
Andy Cortez
Not the last four that I haven't used.
Greg Miller
Before we get started with round one, let me remind you we couldn't do this show without our patreon.com kindafunnyproducers. So thank you, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster and Delaney. The Psalm Twining. Thank you, gentlemen. Are you ready to begin? Let's ready, Andy. Because you won last time. You get to start this stuff.
Andy Cortez
Wow.
Greg Miller
Thank you. I feel like you never get to start. Usually sandwiched in the middle. Thank you. We'll go. Andy, Mike. Tim. Andy. Hey, gray. I asked 1700.
Andy Cortez
I don't like this grin.
Greg Miller
I asked 1700. Kind of funny. Best friends. What's Mario's favorite food?
Andy Cortez
Oh, I mean, you know, definitely not trying to be canceled for stereotyping here. The Italian people got to say that. Got to say that first.
Greg Miller
But you have to wonder, is the audience worried about being canceling the stereotype?
Andy Cortez
You're right.
Greg Miller
Now, it's so based on the Italians. We know you're saying Mario likes broccoli and meat chopped up together in a Tupperware. Of.
Patreon/Kindafunny Advertiser
Of course.
Andy Cortez
Yes.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Mike
It's disgustingly eating sides of bacon at
Tim Geddes
a place that doesn't sell bacon. It's just bacon's an ingredient for other things they make.
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
When he tries to order a burger and they say it has to come with avocado, he leaves the restaurant.
Andy Cortez
Yeah. Or the time that Nick put.
Greg Miller
Oh, Nick. Are we talking about Nick?
Andy Cortez
The time that Nick put cheese on a fucking pan. And then, you know.
Greg Miller
Yeah. He made a parmesan crisp in the microwave.
Andy Cortez
Crisp.
Greg Miller
Then he ate too much parmesan at Dave and Buster's.
Tim Geddes
He was crawling on the floor, shitting himself. We're so mean.
Greg Miller
The best part is he has no idea the show exists. How did everyone find out my story.
Andy Cortez
He's playing Sorrows right now. I'm gonna go ahead and say New Dunk City. I'll say pizza.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Andy Cortez
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Andy Cortez says Mario's favorite food is pizza. Survey says. Ah, 30 points for pizza. Andy. Not too shabby, Andy. But of course, now we turn our eyes to the master of hype. Snow bike. Mike. Mike. What is Mario's favorite food?
Tim Geddes
What you got for me, Mike?
Mike
Peaches.
Andy Cortez
Oh, that's good.
Greg Miller
You're disgusting.
Andy Cortez
That's good.
Greg Miller
Disgusting.
Mike
Put it on the board.
Andy Cortez
That's really good.
Greg Miller
I have 1700 kind of funny best friends. What's Mario's favorite food? Show me peaches.
Mike
Yeah, no, that's.
Andy Cortez
What?
Greg Miller
10 point answer. 10 point answer.
Tim Geddes
I appreciate the answer.
Greg Miller
That is a combo answer. We obviously many people wrote in peaches and peach, so we just left it as peach. Tim, you still have the 50, 40, and 20 point answers on the board. What's Mario's favorite food?
Andy Cortez
It's so juicy.
Tim Geddes
Oh, man. Dude, it's hard. Cause there's different forms of things. I'm just gonna say lasagna.
Greg Miller
Oh, lasagna. Okay, okay. Tim says lasagna. Survey says just like Garfield. Just like Garfield. Swing and a miss there. Swing and a miss there. Oh. We turn our attention back to Andy. Your second guess here.
Andy Cortez
Spaghetti.
Greg Miller
Andy says spaghetti in a very good Mario. You should be a voice actor in some games.
Andy Cortez
Ah, thank you.
Greg Miller
Survey says, thank you for playing my game. 40 points for Andy with spaghetti. Something else.
Mike
Italian.
Greg Miller
Mike, we're back to you.
Mike
I like to go with tacos.
Greg Miller
Okay. No, there's the in.
Tim Geddes
You're playing the Zelda games. You haven't got to Mario yet.
Mike
I got to Mario.
Tim Geddes
Okay.
Mike
Yeah, tacos. When they're driving the cars in Mario Kart world, they pick up tacos on the side.
Andy Cortez
You're right.
Mike
And he changes his outfit.
Greg Miller
I was gonna say that's actually sombrero. I can see him in a sombrero. Yeah. Anyways, Mario, what's the fucking hat one? Why can't I remember the hat game now?
Tim Geddes
Odyssey.
Greg Miller
Odyssey. Doesn't he. He puts on a sombrero there, right? And runs around the world. And that's what they put in Galaxy. Mike. I like it. Don't listen to them.
Andy Cortez
Thank you.
Greg Miller
Do 1700. Kind of funny. Best friends like it, though. Survey says. Swinging a miss there, Mikey. Swinging a miss.
Tim Geddes
Really?
Mike
Just stay in Italian.
Greg Miller
Then, tim, you got 50, and you got 20 on the board. Of course, 40 points was Andy's answer of spaghetti. 30 points was Andy's answer of pizza. 10 points went to Mike for peach. Pasta. Pasta. Tim says pasta. Survey says.
Andy Cortez
Nice.
Greg Miller
20 points for Tim with pasta. 20 points for Tim with pasta. A great showing there. Of course. Then 70 points for Andy. Tim with 20, Mike with 10. Anybody want to guess what number one was?
Home Depot Advertiser
Meatballs.
Mike
Meatballs.
Andy Cortez
Oh, good.
Greg Miller
You are all wrong. Oh, shit. The number one answer was mushrooms.
Andy Cortez
Oh, fucking idiots.
Greg Miller
He eats so many mushrooms. Of course, the movie would tell you he doesn't like mushrooms. And there's a problem. But there's many different canons for Mario. There's the whole Mario timeline. They talk about.
Tim Geddes
Oh, my fucking God.
Andy Cortez
I always think I just randomly think about a time that we were talking about an item we were going to sell on the kind of funny store. And it was a special thing, and it was the porti pasta. And I said, he passed it away.
Greg Miller
That was so good.
Andy Cortez
It's the hardest you've ever laughed.
Greg Miller
That was the funniest thing I've ever.
Andy Cortez
I'm proud of that.
Mike
Damn, that was a real good one.
Greg Miller
You have a lot of good jokes.
Andy Cortez
Thanks, man.
Greg Miller
No problem. Not as good as Nick, but you can know that because you've seen him now.
Andy Cortez
He's great up there.
Greg Miller
Round number two. Let's turn our eyes to the future of Metacritic. I asked 1700 kinda funny best friends what will Marvel, marvel, marvel. I got lost in the word. Andy. Marvel to Khan, Fighting Souls, Metacritic be. We will start with Mike, go to Tim and then go to Andy, of course, because Andy's in lead with 70, Tim with 20, Mike with 10.
Andy Cortez
I said, Nick, give me a tight three.
Greg Miller
And he probably said, I can give you a tight two hole.
Mike
Oh, my God, give me 86.
Greg Miller
Snow bike. Mike says 1700. Kind of funny. Best friends are gonna say 86. Survey says
Mike
this is up in the 90s.
Greg Miller
We're flying blind. Serious conversation, nothing to go on yet. Tim.
Tim Geddes
Timmy with the 83.
Greg Miller
Tim says 83 for Marvel to K. Fighting Souls. Survey says 20 points for Tim with an 83. We have something to go on. We have something to build on as we go to Andy.
Andy Cortez
84.
Greg Miller
Andy says 84. Survey says 30 points for Andy with 84. Mike, we're back to you. You were angry, thinking they were going high. You're in the 83. 84 so far. 10, 40 and 50 still on the board.
Mike
82.
Andy Cortez
That's good.
Greg Miller
Mike says 82.
Tim Geddes
That's a solid answer.
Mike
Yeah. Give me a flip.
Greg Miller
Survey says
Andy Cortez
there it is.
Greg Miller
50 points for Mike with an 82. Competitive round to say the least. 40 points and 10 points are on the board. Timothy Robert Geddes.
Tim Geddes
80.
Greg Miller
Tim says 80. Survey says.
Patreon/Kindafunny Advertiser
Damn it.
Greg Miller
Swing and a miss, Andy. Final guess of the round.
Andy Cortez
85.
Greg Miller
Andy says 85. Survey says swing and a miss. Of course. For your recap, 50 points went to Mike for 82. 30 points went to Andy for 84. 20 went to Tim for 83. Bear, what was that 10 point answer? 81. We're trending downwards. And then our 40 point answer would have been 78. 78 out there. A good round though, for all of you.
Andy Cortez
Thank you, Greg.
Greg Miller
Survey would then say you should go to patreon.com kindafunny but before then, I'll remind you the scores. Andy with 100, Mike with 60, Tim with 40. Of course, before we jump into round three, we like to get to know our competitors better. Tim, we'll start with you. Go to Andy and go to Mike. Tim, tell us your favorite video game magazine story.
Tim Geddes
Love video game magazines very, very dearly. Quite possibly my favorite thing on this planet. I spent many times going to get the collector's editions of specific things. The Final Fantasy 10 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. I would go to many different blockbusters to get the amano art there. But the one I want to talk about specifically is Star Wars Episode 1 racer. Four different Nintendo Power covers, four different pod racers on the COVID Did I travel around San Francisco to get them all? Did I achieve it? No. No, I did not. One was very, very, very rare. I forget which one it was. It was probably Sebulba. Give me it, Andy.
Andy Cortez
The boozing ob so good. Thank you.
Tim Geddes
But shot to video game magazines having different collectible covers.
Greg Miller
That was. That's great, Andy. What's your video game magazine story?
Andy Cortez
I was a huge fan of Game Pro. I would always go to the to much like last week's episode to the local heb across the street.
Greg Miller
Yeah, sure.
Andy Cortez
I would buy the Game Pro every month if I could afford it that month. And when it comes to like, I always love their rating system. It was the little cartoon faces.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy Cortez
And it was like graphics was like a super big smile and it was like sound was like a whatever kind of smile or whatever. And when I would ideate games in my head of like, this is a. An OC that I created. This is my character in the game. And the game that I named was called the Fate of the World. And it was just like Final Fantasy. It was just like that's what it was. But in my mind, I would write down all the different Fate of the World games in like, all the way to number 12 iterations. And I would like, give them what ratings they got throughout the. And I was like, why am I doing this? But it's just what I did as a kid.
Greg Miller
Yeah. It was a cool way to personalize.
Andy Cortez
There was a time where it seemed like the Fate of the World franchise was taking a dip. And the next one really brought it back and it got all.
Greg Miller
Yeah, did you ever play Game Dev Story and like make those games, like Game Dev Story, you know, you like, you're not making the game, but you know.
Andy Cortez
Right. No, but it gave that story, like, you know, that was like much later I would say, yeah, of course. Oh, God, this is my, like, you know, eight year old. Pretend. Everything was pretend.
Greg Miller
Fair enough. Mike, tell me your video game magazine story.
Mike
Yeah. Funny enough, I'm a big OXM guy. I love you. My Xbox magazines, they were my favorite thing around. And a recent one, me and Tim went up to Seattle to go preview Halo Combat or Campaign Evolved. And I had the OXM of Halo 3. And who were you on the plane with? One Ryan McCann.
Greg Miller
Oh, nice.
Mike
And I showed him the magazine. He goes, tim, Mike, check this out. I bet you I wrote that Preview for Halo 3 right now. And we opened it up and it was Ryan, wow. Writing the Preview for Halo 3 way back in the day. So, yeah, that's my favorite one. I love my big collection of original Xbox magazines. I also have some cool Nintendo powers. I have Kobe Bryant courtside two.
Greg Miller
Nice.
Mike
Which is pretty sick.
Tim Geddes
Wow.
Andy Cortez
I'd like to replace my story. I had a Game Pro one time that had an advertisement for gex. Yeah, one of the GEX games. And it was. I'm blinking on the love interest from Austin Powers, the blonde girl.
Greg Miller
Heather Graham.
Tim Geddes
Heather Graham.
Andy Cortez
Heather Graham. And it's. It was an advertisement of GEX covering her boobs with his hands. And my grandma saw that and was so pissed that she was like, why do you have this? Why is this little. Why is this lizard cartoon, like, covering up a woman's boobs? And it was. It was a big, like, my parents are like, whoa, what are these?
Greg Miller
Video games?
Andy Cortez
Yeah, but it was just Gex.
Greg Miller
You're banned from the HEB.
Andy Cortez
This Gex being his thing, you know. Doing his. Yeah.
Tim Geddes
Gex Jr. Had to come somewhere.
Greg Miller
Yeah. All right, moving on to round number three. Let's stay in our nostalgia bag. Of course we're gonna go. Tim, Mike, Andy on this one. Tim, I asked 1700 kinda funny. Best friends, what video game franchise do you miss the most? Tim, of course. With 40 points right now, Mike with 60. Andy with 100.
Tim Geddes
Banjo kazooie.
Greg Miller
Tim says Banjo Kazooie. Survey says. Oh, they don't miss him. They don't miss them, actually. Hold on. So 5, 6, 7, 8, 8. He came in eighth place or they came in eighth place, I should say. Michael, what video game franchise do you miss the most? Sly Cooper should have said, recore the Thievius raccoons. Mike says. Sly Cooper. Survey says.
Andy Cortez
Whoa.
Greg Miller
40 points. 40 point answer off that.
Mike
Wowee.
Greg Miller
Keeping him in the thing. Making Tim upset as always. Andy, what video game franchise do you miss the most?
Andy Cortez
Jack and Daxter.
Greg Miller
Damn you. Andy says Jack and Daxter.
Andy Cortez
Jackson and Daxter.
Greg Miller
Survey says. Oh. 10 points for Andy on Jack and Daxter.
Tim Geddes
That's crazy.
Greg Miller
Timothy, we're back to you.
Tim Geddes
Oh man.
Greg Miller
It puts on the math. 30 and 20 all on the board. What video game franchise do you miss the most? Remember, never miss a poll. When I put up a brand new kind of feedy questionnaire. Go to patreon.com kindafunny we'd love it if you bought a subscription for all the stuff I talk about all the time. But even if you made a free account, you'd be notified when I put up a new poll.
Andy Cortez
But remember, when you don't pay for the things you like, they go away.
Greg Miller
Exactly. Say bye, Andy.
Andy Cortez
Yeah, I'm throwing off that banjo shit.
Tim Geddes
Y' all are very loud, you know what I mean? Everyone wants banjo, Banjo, banjo, banjo. And then here we are.
Andy Cortez
Yeah.
Tim Geddes
Number eight. Okay. And Jak and Daxter Solo. I have no good answer. I'm going to say something crazy. Grand Theft Auto.
Greg Miller
Timothy says Grand Theft Auto. A good answer. Survey says. Not in the top 10 either. No, didn't help you.
Andy Cortez
I miss it.
Tim Geddes
I miss it a lot.
Greg Miller
One day it'll be back in pog form. Mike,
Mike
I got a couple of fun answers here, Greg. I'm going to stick two Infamous.
Andy Cortez
Nice, Mike.
Greg Miller
That's great. Infamous. A man after my own heart. Does the survey agree? Survey says 30 point answer for infamous for Mike. Mike getting 70 points this round with infamous at 30. Sly Cooper at 40. Andy, 50 points and 20 points. Still on the board. Of course. Mike has a 130 to 110 to 40 lead.
Andy Cortez
Uncharted.
Greg Miller
Andy says Uncharted. Survey says 20 points for Andy right there. 20 points for Andy right there. So your recap? Of course, 10 points was Jack and Daxter. It went to Andy. 20 points was uncharted. It went to Andy. 30 points was infamous. It went to Mike. 40 points was sly Cooper. It went to Mike.
Tim Geddes
And of course, what type of audience do we have?
Greg Miller
You know that 50 point answer. Where could it be? What could it be? Could it be. Oh, my God. Always in your rear view mirror, Andy. Could it always be chasing you? One of your favorite franchises of all time, Barret. Mass Effect.
Andy Cortez
Oh, fuck.
Greg Miller
People miss that. Mass Effect. They love that good old space rpg.
Andy Cortez
Damn.
Tim Geddes
I'm very surprised by those answers, honestly. Yeah, Mass Effect doesn't seem like a franchise to miss, but we miss it.
Greg Miller
I mean, we miss it, but I
Tim Geddes
mean, it's like it's. It's.
Greg Miller
I mean, that's why we're all excited about this expansion. The taste of it. Yeah, sorry your lame old games didn't make it. You know, I'm surprised. How many swings do they have to take?
Andy Cortez
I was going to say scale, though.
Greg Miller
Tim's at the bottom with 40 points. Andy and Mike tied with 30. So as we move into round four, moving day. Tim leads us off. We go to Andy, we go to Mike. We're going in the order. Timothy, what's the next horror movie monster? Supermassive should make a game around. Supermassive, of course. Creator of Until Dawn. Of course. The Dark Pictures anthology Quarry, and the upcoming Directive 8020. Many of their games using horror movie monsters. And I know you're a big fan of all the supermassive games.
Tim Geddes
I know.
Greg Miller
So I know you could go through the litany of other monsters.
Tim Geddes
What have they already used?
Greg Miller
Exactly. Exactly.
Tim Geddes
The thing is, I have a feeling that people answering this also don't know.
Greg Miller
So.
Tim Geddes
Yeah, they just simply don't. So with that.
Andy Cortez
I didn't know that's what they were doing.
Greg Miller
Not all the time, but, you know, there's a lot of crossover.
Andy Cortez
I thought it was just like.
Greg Miller
It's not like they're doing like universal things, but it's like I can't say what they are, but they are like, oh, this monster of legend.
Tim Geddes
Vampire.
Andy Cortez
Damn.
Greg Miller
Timothy says, why are you.
Andy Cortez
That's great.
Mike
Yeah, I don't know about that one, but.
Andy Cortez
Okay.
Greg Miller
Why? Why?
Mike
I mean, there's an Ashley Tisdale one. Vampires very close in that one.
Greg Miller
In Iraq.
Mike
Yeah.
Andy Cortez
Yeah, they're in Iraq.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy Cortez
Yeah. How did Ashes.
Mike
Tis.
Andy Cortez
Look, in the Middle east, she's.
Greg Miller
She's a fucking combat agent.
Andy Cortez
Nice.
Greg Miller
Yeah. House of Ashes. Of course. The one Mike's talking about. My favorite one. But I digress. Tim says vampire. Survey says.
Andy Cortez
That would have been mine.
Greg Miller
30 points for Tim.
Mike
Nice answer.
Greg Miller
30 points for Tim.
Mike
Right. They know nothing.
Andy Cortez
That would have been my guess, yeah.
Greg Miller
Andy, we're back to you then. You still have 50, 40, 20 and 10 on the board.
Andy Cortez
Werewolf.
Tim Geddes
Yeah, that's the other one.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's wrong, Mike?
Mike
I mean, maybe in until dawn the Wendigos are close enough to a werewolf that I'd hope they weren't.
Greg Miller
Or maybe in the quarry where it is a werewolf. You don't have to jump around it. Andy says werewolf. Survey says.
Andy Cortez
I didn't know that.
Greg Miller
I missed there. Yeah. Mike, you know the most.
Mike
Yeah. This one. I dive deep here, Greg. And I have a lot of fun answers because there's things that I want to explore, there's things that I want to see. And how much do they know? Let's go with.
Tim Geddes
How would they say it now?
Mike
They wouldn't say that. Let's go with. I have so many in my mind.
Andy Cortez
His brain's about to bust.
Mike
I have three in my mind, Greg.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Mike
And the three are all very good. I just don't know one. How to describe one of them. I know the name, but it's like, what would you call it? And then the other ones are like mid tier jabronis where it's like, oh, just hit randomize. I would love for them to mess around. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'll just pitch my dream game.
Greg Miller
Please do it.
Mike
The ring girl. You get the tape. You have seven days.
Andy Cortez
Okay.
Greg Miller
Bang.
Tim Geddes
Samara.
Mike
That would be lit.
Greg Miller
Is that what you're saying?
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And her name's Samara. Like your daughter Samira.
Tim Geddes
Samara.
Mike
Oh, okay.
Greg Miller
What's the. Where's the difference? Too close. I don't like that. I want to stay away from there.
Andy Cortez
She'll be so bright on that OLED tv.
Greg Miller
Mike says the ring girl, AKA Tim's daughter, Samira. Survey says
Tim Geddes
that might be the most insane answer anyone's ever given up. Kind of.
Mike
But it could be legit.
Greg Miller
That would be cool.
Mike
The ring girl could be legit.
Greg Miller
I'd play that. I mean, I play them all.
Tim Geddes
That's awesome.
Greg Miller
Tim, we're back to you. What movie? What's the next horror movie? Monster, supermassive. Should make a game around zombies.
Andy Cortez
Oh, shit.
Greg Miller
Tim says zombies. So Remay says
Mike
That felt like a
Andy Cortez
layup, Andy, because you say horror movie monster that like that to me I just think of old. I'm gonna say Swamp Thing.
Mike
Nice.
Greg Miller
Swamp Thing. Nice. Okay, cool. Andy says Swamp Thing. Survey says.
Mike
Wow. Thank you. Swamp Thing was one of my three, Greg. So I'm okay.
Greg Miller
Was that the one you could have come up the name of or was that Ring Girl?
Mike
No, the ring girl was. She's got a name.
Andy Cortez
Yeah.
Mike
Yeah, but like, isn't it like a ghost name for it?
Tim Geddes
I don't know.
Mike
Think about it. Comments?
Tim Geddes
Yeah, the boyfriend, the grudge.
Mike
Oh, really? That's not bad. Am I last up or.
Greg Miller
You are last. This is it.
Mike
Last one. So now we have some fun. Mothman's an option.
Columbia Advertiser
Right.
Mike
Now do we go to the Mummy?
Andy Cortez
Right?
Mike
Like where, where does the audience go? I thought undead was a great one. Tim. Zombies for sure. That would be great. Let's go with the Mummy for fun.
Andy Cortez
That's good, that's good.
Greg Miller
Mike says the mummy. Survey says 20 points for the Mummy. There you go.
Andy Cortez
All right then, so we're all done, right?
Greg Miller
That's it, we're done.
Andy Cortez
Slenderman.
Greg Miller
No.
Andy Cortez
Ah, dang.
Greg Miller
Swamp thing was the 10th place answer. Damn, that helps anybody. Your 10 point answer would have been perhaps the most famous. Frankenstein. Okay, then of course, Mike got The mummy for 20. Tim got a vampire for 30. The 40 point answer, Dracula. I let him count different than vampire. He is the king of the vampires is a different kind of thing. Whatever. And then 50 actually kind of directly related to directive 80. 20, the thing. Of course, the SGF demo I did years ago for directive is there's a shapeshifter or some kind of weird thing going on where there's a doppelganger.
Andy Cortez
That's actually what I said. I just mispronounced the first word.
Greg Miller
Oh, I apologize. I'm sorry.
Andy Cortez
It's a thing.
Greg Miller
You put a swamp in there. Put the swamp Thing in there. Of course, after that round, a rough one. I'm sorry. Tim got 70. Andy is at 130. Mike is at 150. As we hurdle in to the very end here. Round number five, still batting the order. Tim. Andy. Mike. Tim, I asked 1700 kinda funny. Best friends, what's going to be the game of the show at Jeff's SGF presentation?
Andy Cortez
Greg's been on one Final Fantasy VII. Fuck.
Tim Geddes
Part three.
Andy Cortez
Okay.
Greg Miller
Tim says Final Fantasy 7 part three. Survey says
Mike
what?
Greg Miller
30 points for Timmy on that one. Mike, why do you say what I
Mike
would have thought that's number one. Guarantee.
Greg Miller
Ah, got it.
Mike
Got it. I would have thought that was easy. Number one. Damn.
Greg Miller
Okay, fair enough. Andy, we turn our eyes to you. 130 on the board right now. Mike with 150. Tim creeping up with that 150 points. 40 points, 20 points and 10 points on the board still.
Andy Cortez
Intergalactic heretic prophet.
Greg Miller
Andy says intergalactic. The heretic prophet is a prophet or prophecy. I always forget Prophet.
Andy Cortez
Okay.
Greg Miller
From Narida. Survey says.
Tim Geddes
Oh, shit.
Greg Miller
Ten points for Andy. Keeping it competitive, staying close to Mike. But he's going to need more than that because Mike has a lot of room to grow. You got a 50? You got a 40 and a 20. Mike, how you feeling?
Mike
I got answers. Yeah, I got. I got heavy. I'm deep in my bag. I got answers, Greg. Okay, now which is the best answer that will suit me right now at this particular moment? Tim with a fantastic option of Final Fantasy. Would have thought that would have been number one.
Greg Miller
Really good pull, Andy.
Mike
Nice pull as well. Sony, love. Of course, Sony goes far here in the audience, but you know what else farther than Sony?
Greg Miller
What's that?
Andy Cortez
Xbox.
Mike
Nintendo. Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time remake.
Andy Cortez
Doing the Ocarina.
Greg Miller
Mike says the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake. Survey says.
Andy Cortez
That's crazy. Would that actually show up at Jeff's thing, though?
Greg Miller
I gotta think about that.
Mike
I gotta bring it back now. I gotta keep it tight sometimes. Like to have a little fun with it.
Greg Miller
We come back to Tim, an incredibly close race here. Tim with 100, Andy with 140, Mike with 150. You have a 50 point, a 40 point and a 20 point still on the board.
Tim Geddes
Timothy, Kingdom, hearts four.
Andy Cortez
Damn.
Greg Miller
What's going to be the game of the show with Jeff's SGF presentation? Tim says, Kingdom Hearts 4. Survey says down goes Frazier. Down goes Frazier. Andy is just 10 points behind Snowbike. Mike here. 50 points. Wolverine. I fucked it up. 50 points is off the board. I've been waiting. I've been waiting. No, since the beginning, I've been waiting. Cause, like, I remember when Bless did it one time and he never did it again. And I'm like, it's gonna happen to me eventually. There it was, everybody.
Tim Geddes
That's so funny.
Greg Miller
So that's easy enough. Then we're gonna move the 40 points up, becomes your 50 now where everything gets up by 10 points. That just makes sense. I believe. I guess I could leave it technically. I don't know. I'm not good at math. But we'll figure it out.
Tim Geddes
I need to go. I'm sorry.
Greg Miller
No, you're fine. You already lost. It's fine. Live your life.
Andy Cortez
Live your life.
Greg Miller
Do you think you ever would have said Wolverine? Did I fuck you on that?
Andy Cortez
No. Okay, good, because we already had a big presentation of it.
Greg Miller
All right, so again, 40 points and now 20 points is on the board.
Andy Cortez
Yeah, I was like, we had like a fairly deep, like, we saw a lot of that game already, so. I hear you.
Mike
There's more of Wolverine. Yeah, I mean, they always ruin it.
Andy Cortez
Sure.
Greg Miller
Just like I ruined this question.
Andy Cortez
You're right.
Greg Miller
They're gonna ruin it. No, I don't care.
Andy Cortez
You're killing it. Let's see here. I will say this. I don't like this, but it's a Hail Mary. The Dusk Bloods.
Mike
Damn it, Andy.
Greg Miller
Andy Cortez says the dusk bloods. 1700 kind of funny friends surveyed and they say, oh, my God.
Mike
Wow.
Greg Miller
Couldn't make it there. Couldn't make it there. Mike, you've won the game with at least 150 points. But for the shits and the gigs, what would you guess?
Mike
Well, I was going with Dust Blood, so. Man, thank you, Andy, for choosing that one. Let's go with Fable for fun.
Greg Miller
My best friend Mike, for funsies, says Fable. Survey says, huh. 20 points for Mike would have gotten that. Or he gets the 20 points for there, of course, then giving Mike the win with 170 to Andy's 140 to Tim's 100 again. Yeah, if we want to go back to the board. Intergalactic went to Andy for 10 points. Fable went to Mike for 20 points. 30 points. Got Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 got Tim 30 points. 40 points. Grand Theft Auto 6. Okay, and then as I said and I screwed it up, 50 points would have been Wolverine. As you look at it, this is. Honestly, even when I did the question, it's like fun for the headline and fun for the conversation. But SGF to me especially Game of the show is always the unexpected. Right? So it's like Wolverine. I don't expect to be there because that's not how really PlayStation works. GTA won't be there. Final Fantasy A chance. Fable will definitely be at the Xbox thing. I doubt it'll be a Jeff's thing in Intergalactic. Are they really ready for that kind of thing? Yeah, it painted both the audience into a corner of. I think they could only talk. The only thing that are going to get numbers are known games. And then it paints you in a corner because I think you all start fighting yourself of like well no GTA 6 wouldn't be there. But you know I would have said
Andy Cortez
Witcher 4 as well.
Mike
You know Greg, I know they don't do this anymore but while you're out there I would like the biggest statue possible that they'll give you. Oh shit in the day 83. You remember the Dying Light statue that you gave me?
Greg Miller
Dying Light, cyberpunk statues, all these things nobody wanted.
Mike
Biggest statue possible. Bring that on back.
Andy Cortez
We need another carry on for you.
Greg Miller
Luckily this is just LA. I'd walk to the FedEx and be

Hosts: Greg Miller, Tim Gettys, Andy Cortez, Snowbike Mike
In this episode, the Kinda Funny crew brings their chaotic, hilarious energy to a game show–style battle of gaming knowledge and predictions with “Kinda Feudy,” inspired by Family Feud. With Greg Miller as host, Tim, Andy, and Mike compete in survey-based guessing games touching on Mario’s favorite food, Metacritic predictions, most-missed franchises, horror monsters, and—most of all—trying to forecast the “Game of the Show” at the upcoming Summer Game Fest (SGF). The show also features nostalgic video game magazine memories and plenty of signature Kinda Funny banter.

On The Unpredictability of SGF Game of the Show:
The episode is a perfect encapsulation of Kinda Funny’s energetic, self-deprecating gaming talk. The chemistry and inside jokes are strong, with Greg keeping the show moving while the panel tries to outguess the hive mind of their own audience and each other—often with chaotic, contrarian, or just plain wild answers. Longtime fans will appreciate the running gags, nostalgia callbacks, and playful trash talk. The whole episode builds toward the central question: what will define SGF 2026? The “unexpected” is as much a theme as any clear winner.
Summary:
A raucous, laughter-filled episode blending panel games, gaming trivia, community predictions, and commentary on how unpredictable—yet repetitive—game hype cycles can be. The show offers both genuine insights into gaming culture and fan favorites, and a showcase of the Kinda Funny team’s wit, camaraderie, and professed love for gaming’s quirks.
