Yeah. Talked about a little bit on Games Daily yesterday. I'm only about maybe three hours in. There's so much game left for me to play and I'm enjoying it, but I'm at the weird place of waiting for other games to come in for review. And so I'm so. I'm scared of my time with this game getting cut short in a way that's always unfortunate when I'm playing games. You know what I mean? Like something high profile comes through and it's like drop everything. I gotta Check this thing out. And so I've been playing a little bit of it. I have a trip coming up. I'm flying to Tennessee for a wedding in the family. And so maybe that's an opportunity for me to just zero in on Zero parades.

So I was like, I can go do whatever I want. I was like, I'm a little bit brain dead. I just want to smash billboards and race around back into Forza.

Forza is in the Invisible versus category for me where like I'll get home and maybe do a race or two. But I'm not again, it's so. I don't want to commit to anything.

You know what I mean? It's hard for me to commit to anything. I've just been busy also. But like, yeah, Forza is one where I think the other thing to it is that I've played Forza Horizons 3, 4 and 5 and so jumping into 6. It's like, oh yeah, I'm enjoying this. It's more Forza, but also it's more Forza. And so I don't have the need to clear out everything and you know, like play a million hours. I think the six or seven hours that I've played so far, I'm like, yeah, I've enjoyed this.

See, that's helpful for me where I've done Nothing where Forza 5 or Forza Horizon 5 is what I introduced Ben to and let him drive. But he was always the one driving. So I looked, okay, cool. But I've never played like I've driven but never played. So now turning it on and being like, all right, I got it. I was me and all of me and Olive party. I was asking Olive Party a bunch of dumb questions yesterday because of Creations being so backwards on how to find things. And he was helping me find all this different stuff. Get my Ghostbusters car up and running. I'm looking good on that. But it was like, I'm just that. And then maybe I'll try race. Okay. I still suck at racing. So I'll just smash it and I'll go Do this. And like, what's the tour like? And there's like, for me, it's all new. Everywhere I go, I'm really loving, let alone how much I like Japan.

Oh, well, there was a lot of Yoshi, but it's kind of the same story as y' all were bouncing between a couple of things. But the. After the preview we did for Mina the Hollower, I've been playing a little bit more of that. And then we also have a lot of Forza. But the Mortal Kombat movie really got me in the zone, so I. I needed to hop over to Invincible. I forgot that you recommended that to me. But I've been kind of just playing a lot of the Legacy Collection and like, kind of just playing through the story modes of a lot of the old classic mks, because I don't know that I've ever fully beat, like. I mean, obviously back then there wasn't just a single story mode. It was like, yeah, if you do

arcades and see the endings.

Yeah, but like, I didn't play all of them. Like, I played a lot of MK2 growing up, but like three and like ultimate and Trilogy and all that stuff. Like, so, yeah, I've just been having. Having a lot of fun. I really want to play 9, but it's stuck on the PS3 and like 360, apparently it was on Steam, but it's delisted.

Is it not backwards compatible on Xbox?

It is. I don't have an Xbox set up currently. Like, where I'm playing, like when I have. This is my upstairs setup.

If they did. Because Legacy Collection, that was like mortal kombats 1, 2, 3 and 4 and like the Game Boy ones and stuff. If they did another Mortal Kombat collection that was the PS3 era, the 3D era, would that be something that would interest you?

I know it's. It's. It's tough to think about it, but I. I do want to replay nine because it's been so long. People were telling me that there was a way to get it, even though it was delisted on Steam, but I need to buy it from, like, a shady website. I'm like, I don't know. It was. Yeah, nine was. I don't know why that's so weird. I don't know. Oh, I know why. It was because, like, Freddy Krueger in them or like, whoever. Yeah. But anyway, a lot of Mortal Kombat in my life right now, and at the very least, just me playing the Mortal Kombat theme song every chance I get and holding Sammy and making her punch things. And she seems to be into it. I'm very into it.

Well, that's the thing. Favorite. I'd go Deadly Alliance. I know the Deception's best.

Amazingly done. So many great Nintendo Easter egg eggs, signed cartridges in there. There's. You got everything on the wall. You got it on the shelves. You're doing the damn thing. I need to know if Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a good game. If it's a game I should play by myself, it's a game I should play with Ben. If it's a game that's going to make Ben love Yoshi even more than the Mario movies already did. So give me top level. How long did it take to beat? What are you thinking? Where are you on the kind of

funny scale I want to say I'm probably 12 hours in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. I've done most of what is available to me. I've beat the game obviously, But I haven't 100% at it yet. I don't think I'm planned to 100%. It is a very fun one. 200% for certain people. I don't think I'm that person. That's okay. Got a lot of enjoyment out of what I have experienced. I played it on the Switch too, obviously because it's exclusive there. I would say 80% handheld, 20% on the TV. And of that 80% handheld, say 20% of the time was me awkwardly curled up on a couch in the studio with everyone making fun of me and taking pictures of me.

I love the Yoshi games, specifically Yoshi's Islands. I don't think it's a secret that after that it's kind of been a downhill trajectory for the games overall. Like even when there were semi highlights, like a Yoshi story, Yoshi's island ds, Yoshi's worldly world, they're all okay. You know, I don't think that they. They get even close to the amazing game that is Yoshi's Island. One of my favorite games of all time. And I think one of the best platformers Hard stop of all time. So we get to this and it's always that, will this be the one? Will this be the one? And I can definitively say this is not the one. However, I do think that this tries to do something very different than the last couple installments that I think is a step in the right direction. Overall, when I was thinking about this, what score I was going to give this game, sure I had a 6.5 in my mind, but then I looked at our. Yeah, thank you very much, Kevin. That is the unfinished version of our room here with moose on the Oshi rug. But when I looked at our words that we use to review video games, Kevin, if you could bring those up, I'm thinking I'm like that. Six. Okay. And even 6.5 where I was at, that doesn't seem accurate to how much I was enamored by this game, how much I did enjoy this game and how creative a lot of it was and how good a. Of lot a time I had with it. So my final score is a seven. I do think this is a good game and I think that a lot of it is. Your mileage may vary when it comes to how much you're going to get out of it, because if you go into it as a traditional 2D Nintendo platformer, you're going to be disappointed. That's not what this is. This is way more a game about curiosity and about exploring different worlds and learning about these different creatures. And every single level is a different like creature that you're going after to learn about their. Where they live, their habitat, how they interact with other creatures and how they interact With Yoshi to be able to explore the level in different ways. There's not an end of the level. In fact, you can't get hurt. There's not combat in this. It is very untraditional compared to the other, other Yoshi games. Despite controlling exactly like Yoshi's Island. With a couple improvements, I think that something that I'd like to see in a more traditional Yoshi's island platformer in terms of like how the shooting the egg and aiming the egg works and things like that. Yoshi's very responsive. I really like his moveset and controls in this game. It's fun to move around and they give you a lot of great reasons to want to move around in these levels. The way that it works is the book opens up. Each chapter is a different type of location, like mountainside or, you know, water area. The traditional classic stuff. And then you see a bunch of these different little creatures and you like zoom in on one of them and you enter that creature's level. When you're going around the level, like I said, there's no end point. It is all you on the pages of the book. So you're kind of exploring through the pages and as you're going through, you pretty immediately will find the creature in the beginning of the level. And from that point on, you're just discovering a bunch of things about that creature through platforming. And it'll pop up on the page. And the page starts to fill out with little things of like, oh, Yoshi tried to eat that, the, the, that creature and it didn't taste good. And it's like, oh, there's this other creature that looks like it's eating a lot of things. Maybe it will like that. And then you have. You get creature A, close to creature B, it eats it and then it's like, oh, then it turns into a bigger thing and you're like, okay, that's how that works. When it interacted, it's all about kind of the, again, curiosity and creativity of the world around you. And when you eventually achieve a bigger goal and find enough facts out about this creature, then a big kind of like you get a three star. Some of the things you learn, you get one star or two star. Okay, when you get the three star thing, you can end the level there. You can end the level at any time, but that's kind of the. You beat the level type thing and then you can go back out and then you'll have more information about that creature and, and you can actually name the creature yourself, Mr. E, Mr. Encyclopedia, but Mr. E for short.

It allows you to name any creature anything you want. I didn't really do that. I do think that that is something that is more geared towards kids, obviously. I think this game overall, very good towards everybody.

100% right. But yeah, you can see it here. It's like when you eat one of those pops in your mouth, blew a bubble and each one of those gets you kind of stars.

That was my big question. Yeah. This is something I have to sit with and read with Ben or if he can play it on.

And that's the thing is it's like I feel like this is going to be a very. Just kind of loose review because. And fairly unfocused just because there's a lot of perspectives to talk about where it's like for adults playing this game, for Nintendo fans playing this game, platformer fans. Like, would I recommend this? And the answer is yes. It's not a hard recommend, but like there's a lot of nifty stuff going on here. The discoveries, some of them pop up in ways I would have never expected them to. Some of them are very obvious. Like you're always going to want to try shooting an egg at. At the creature, try eating the creature to at least get that. That base stuff.

But there's a lot more Tears of the Kingdom DNA in this than I expected. There's a lot more Mario 64 DNA in this than I expected. With the amount of times you're doing something and you see a layout and you're like, I wonder if this works the way I think it does. And nine out of ten times it does. And it reminded me of Tears of the Kingdom, which is so nice. And a lot of the things in this are physics based. So a lot of the creatures kind of start to work as power ups in. In a different sense. So each level does kind of have its own gimmick that gives you different abilities. Like you can see a whole bunch of different ones here. Like this little stick guy. Like you can jump on him and use him as like a slingshot essentially. So depending on where you put him, you can sling up to different areas for more collectibles or more discoveries. And it really is just a game about discovery. So if that sounds interesting, there's a lot here and an overwhelming amount actually. Like each Creature has like 100 discoveries per level or something like that. Maybe, maybe that's Too much. Maybe like 50, but I never got all of them for a single level. Like, even going back and, like, trying a little harder. And you can accumulate flowers and coins and the currency is used to buy hints. So you can open the book after you've been in a level and see potential discoveries you missed or discoveries that you made, but you didn't complete the, like, arc of all of the discoveries down that path. And then you can pay to get more hints to go find it. And the hints are pretty vague, but they're just like, yellow plus red equals whatever. You know what I mean? Giving you things like, oh, okay, I get what that means contextually for the level. But it is a lot of. There was a lot of more moments than not where I was just like, oh, that was cool. Like, I liked that that worked the way that. That it did. There's a lot of physics stuff that didn't feel great to control, and that kind of like, took the fun out of it a bit. And the game bizarrely ends the kind of ends out of nowhere and you get the credits. You're like, wow, I really, really wish there was more game here because it just started getting good. And then they're just like, oh, wait, there actually is a lot more game. And then you roll credits again. It's a little weird. I don't know why they did it that way, but I'm happy because the back half of the game is significantly better than the. The front half, I would say. Not that the front half is bad, but just the way that they add things together and the abilities together and start, like, making it a little more complex and adding more to what you're doing. I was like, oh, there's a lot here. So by the time the second credits rolled, I was like, I had a really good time with that.

Not much at all. But, like, I think it's neat. I don't view Yoshi games as for me, though.

Oh, yeah.
C
Even going back to what Yoshi's crafted world, Yoshi's wooly world. Right. Like, when I was a kid, N64, Yoshi's story was actually a big hit in my household. And I think that was more so just my sisters love the vibe of Yoshi's story. Right. The music, the art style that really spoke to us. But even me playing that game, I was kind of like, I'd Rather play Mario 64. I'd rather play something I think that might have been my age at the time. Like, when I look at these Nintendo platformers, I kind of view them as different tiers of what age range they're trying to hit. So, like, obviously not clean, but Mario I view for like maybe older kids, right? Maybe like if you're in that 7 to 10 range, you might start to get into like a Mario platformer, maybe a little bit younger than that might be Kirby. And then I view Yoshi is like the youngest of them all as far as what you're trying to speak to. And so I always appreciate modern Kirby for being Nintendo's, you know, avenue to speak to that age range of kids. But on a gameplay level, I've just never had any interest on getting into New Kirby or New Yoshis. I just like, I like looking at them. You know, I like, I like the artistic direction that these games always take.

And yeah, jumping off that, talking about the artistic direction, like, and also just some of the previous entries, like, I cannot say enough how amazing Yoshi's island one is. Like, that game is so damn good. And yeah, then we start to get the iterations. We got two sequels to that game that tried to recapture the magic and it just simply didn't work. There was Yoshi's Island DS and then New Yoshi's island on the 3DS, which was a travesty. Yoshi's Island DS was okay. But then when we get the Woolly worlds and Crafted worlds, even those like, Woolly World is a very good game. Crafted World is not as good. But the art styles are, are awesome. But even to your point, they are very, very dumbed down and geared towards kids in a way Yoshi's island wasn't. And so I've always been a little saddened by that because I don't understand the need. I don't, I don't really think that there's, I don't buy that the choices they make make it a better experience for kids. Like I, I played Yoshi's island when I was a kid and I don't, I'm not doing the back in my day thing, but Yoshi's island works. And I don't think that they, they need to do some of the changes they make to enhance the experience and make it more of a children's thing. Because to Greg's question earlier or someone's question, like, they don't read. There's a lot of words on this. And so they're kind of expecting Greg to sit there with Ben and read him all of these, like, discoveries and things that are happening and which I do really like. Yeah.

Like, I play, you know, most games I play next to Ben. And sometimes when it's just a racing or driving or whatever.

Sure.

He's doing on its own, or Astrobot, he is, you know, need my help anymore. But there's plenty of stuff we do play together and I do narrate and I do. Like when we were playing Ocarina of Time. Right. Like, I'm. I'm doing all the voices and doing that stuff. So the idea of an interactive storybook really is exciting to me and really is appealing to me for something for us to sit there and go. But I do know that he likes to play sometimes after school while mom cooks dinner. And I know that that is going to maybe run into an issue here.

Yeah. And I. I just don't. I think with the amount of words and the way it's presented here, I don't see it being fun for you to. To sit with them. And maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. But, like, as I was experiencing this, I was thinking about it through that lens, and it just seems like they went a little too heavy in a direction that I don't think is actually going to hit with families. Okay. And.

And on top, you don't think this will be up for Family Game of the Year?
B
Oh, it definitely will. It's 100% well, just because that'. Works. And again, this is a good game. Like, there's a lot of good stuff here and there's a lot of funny stuff. And as a Yoshi's Island Stan, the amount of fun Easter eggs and like, the amount of Yoshi's island stuff in this game is very, very cool. I should have said this at the top of the show. Like, I do think this game is closer to Zelda Echoes of Wisdom than it is to Princess Peach's Showtime. Okay. Like, okay. Because in the way of, like, the creativity of what you're doing and it taking something that's established like a Yoshi platformer and adding this twist of curiosity and discovery. Like, it does remind me a lot of what I liked about Echoes of Wisdom, but I don't think that it fully gets out of that. So it's made by good feel. That wasn't revealed until the credits because Nintendo likes to do that good feel. Have previously made the Yoshi's Crafted World, Woolly World, Princess Peach Showtime. So I do think this is a marked step up from Princess Peach. So that's good.

Do you think like, you know, it's so interesting the framing around the way we want to talk about it because yeah, my first question was is it voice acted? Because I view this as like a kid's thing. Do you see this game maybe being good in the context of a kid is learning how to read? I don't know. Really. Okay.

And the reason for that is so many of the words are just fucking dingly dorfs and like just. It's weird stuff. And like it's the thing about Nintendo that's always been true. They have a lot of text in their games and they rarely have voice acting. And if they do, it's. You know what I mean? Like a lot of their games have different versions of just funny talk. Right. And I think that's okay. I do think that there's place where. I'm not saying that this game needs voice acting. I'm saying that the direction of this game with the amount of text involved I think kind of gets in the way of me understanding the argument of why this game is so kid oriented. Whereas I think it could appeal to a blessing so much more if they did just add some more elements to make it more like a traditional Yoshi's island game. Because so much of this game is a traditional Yoshi's island game. They just pull back a certain amount of things. I think really kind of limit the audience that this game can reach. And it's by design. So it is a choice that they made. I just don't think it was the right choice.

You know, needs some wonder seeds. It needs. It needs all that. But. And then also obviously this game's gorgeous. Right? Like I love.

Yoshi's never looked better himself. The animations are great. I really, really again love his moveset. Love the way it feels. It's perfect. Like this is how Yoshi should feel and game feel to me for a mascot platformer is so much and especially when it's a character that I know exactly how it should feel and it does. It's like that is so satisfying. Visually though, I am a little let down overall with how little they push the art style. Like you see it, it looks great. You run to the sides of the book and you see the. The text kind of start to form and the gets like sepia when you get like to the edges, like that's cool. And like here you see the little like line strokes of the, the discoveries you make. All that stuff's cool, but they don't really like mix it with the gameplay at all. And I think that's something that the Yoshi games previously have been very good at. Specifically crafted world and woolly world of like integrating the, the yarn and the arts and crafts into your moveset and the area and everything. Whereas this is kind of just like a lot of the backgrounds don't look that impressive and I feel like sometimes I got a little bored of the overall energy it was putting out. And when you're in a level sometimes you can get a little confused about was I already here? Did I already do what I need to do in this part? Because it all looks pretty similar level to level. But again it all starts and ends to me with like I love the way Yoshi looks and, and that I think is the most important part. And a lot of the enemies are great. The character designs, whether they're old classics or new little creatures, which there are tons of like I think this might be the most new creatures in a Mario related IP a very long time. And I can see a lot of these guys coming back.

I got a two part question for you. What is something that you see in other Nintendo games that you wish this game did and then vice versa. What's something that this game does that you want to see in other Nintendo games?
B
I mean I feel it's pretty clear that I want this to have a little bit more of that traditional Nintendo platformer challenge to it. Just, just a little bit more I think would go such something to chew on. Yeah. Because I do think all the extra new stuff they added here pretty great. Like the, the way the things interact again, the Tears of the Kingdom style. Is this gonna work the way I think it does? Oh wow. It did. That's so cool. Like that's awesome to get from a 2D Yoshi platformer. Like I didn't expect that I'd get that. And I guess that's the thing. The, the second question of like what this game does. It's like I do think it is just that, that sense of curiosity and like really fulfilling the promise of like oh wow. Like I found you're constantly finding secrets and it feels like you discovered something. Like if that's kind of cool like I, it, it's in opposition to Mario Odyssey where you fart and you get a moon. You know what I mean? It's just like, just throwing so much at you that it feels like I didn't do anything, though. You know, this. It feels like you're getting discoveries constantly, but it's always like, oh, I. I did something that caused it. It's not just, you found a thing. It. It. It is a new take on a collect. A thon.

And that is a world that I care about so much that when I was little, I would read the instruction manual, the physical instruction manual, to learn this name. Got it now. But, like, it's cool to know if. If I was Ben, I could play this. I can name him whatever I want to, you know? And I. That's because I am, like, I care about Mario Cannon probably too much. So I, as a 36 year old man, anytime Mr. E was like, you want to name it something, you do want to just go with. I got, I was like, go with what you got, you know, And I imagine if I was a kid I would still go down that path.

And, and so the discoveries because of how they work when they fill out the book, it's, it is kind of cool to look at a creature and then see all the different things it does and how it interacts with all the other things. And that is literally paging through the book. And yeah. And there is again, I can imagine being a kid seeing that and being wowed and like learning something be like, oh, that means I could do this in that other level. Yeah, that's cool. But I, I'm a seasoned gamer, so you know what I mean?

I don't even know if there is co op. There might be. I have no idea. Didn't attempt that. One thing I will say is the game has maybe the worst unlockables of all time. Like the big thing that you get towards the end of the game and like finishing the game is like weird UI elements that it's like a customizable UI that is supposed to like help you explore and discover things, but it just makes things look really cluttered. It's so hard to explain where it's essentially like blueprints that go on top of your entire screen and like you get to choose which HUD elements you want to add and it adds things that I just don't understand the use for. Like a lot of them are just like, it'll tell you like the acceleration of how fast Yoshi is going or it tells you how much life Yoshi has, like how many hearts of life he has. But there's no combat so you're not getting hit. So I don't understand like why it's even there. That's weird. It feels very, very, very like half baked. Not even right. It just feels under baked and they treat it kind of like a reward. And it was one of the more baffling things I've ever gotten as like, hey, you did the thing. Now you get this cool thing and you look at you like why would I ever want to use this?

Solid Python 2099 says Tim. Is this the most stable Unreal Engine 5 game you've played lol. Yeah, it ran really well. Like there's some slowdown in parts. But I think a lot of that is art design more than it's like performance. I think it's like by. By design. I didn't love the look of the game on handheld as much as I loved it on a big screen. There was something about the compression of the Yoshi art details. Yeah. I think you kind of lose a bit of the magic there when you play handheld. But that's not a performance thing. That's just more a personal graphics take. And then on the soundtrack side, the soundtrack to Yoshi Games has been such an issue where there was like the biggest downfall of all time. Yoshi's Island Banger soundtrack. Yoshi's Story. I'll give it to it. Bangers.

Mario Wonder, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. We had a Mario Wonder meet up at Bell Bell Park. So because of that, I don't know that we're due for a new 2D Mario anytime soon.

I hope it's. I guess my follow up question is what space do you want it to exist in? Pun intended. Right. Like, do you, do you want another Odyssey style thing where it feels like big open levels, you're collecting all the things. It's way more about the exploration than it is about the pure platforming. Do you want something that's more 3D world where it is kind of like this top down isometric view, but it is like kind of that 2D elements mixed in with 3D. Do you want something that's like Galaxy, that's more 3D platformer but it's course based?

Yeah, I mean Galaxy 3 would be the dream because I want focused, I want intense, I want production values through the freaking roof. Like Galaxy has such wow factor because that was the goal. Right? The goal of that game was epic and they achieved it. And I, and I also feel like that was backed up by some of the best creative platforming we've ever seen. Like using the Galaxy. The Galaxy, the gravity mechanics, like allowed Mario and the world to be different than anything that we've seen before. Odyssey, like the gimmick there is cappy. Right. And that type of thing. It's cool. But personally, I mean, honestly it's not my favorite. So yeah, I don't want that. I think Odyssey was a little bit too much of everything in the kitchen sink.

I would like it to be all the cool shit we did in Odyssey, but let's just be in the Mushroom Kingdom and let's just explore and do that and jump through the paintings and go up there and find all the secrets in one open world.

That's where I was gonna lead it. Because Bowser's Fury felt like the prototype for that kind of game. And I. I want the evolution of that, right? I want a Bowser's Fury, but it is bigger and, like, you know, my favorite modern Mario is Mario Odyssey.

Cause I like the exploration stuff, right? But my favorite 3D Mario, period, is Mario 64. And I know Tim would agree, right? It is the hub world that really makes that game. Being able to explore the castle and find the levels and finding a place, finding the levels itself. Being a game mechanic of like, oh, wait, this wall is shimmering. And then you jump into it and you're like, what the fuck? I want to feel that feeling again. And Bowser's Fury feels like a step.

I never did Bowers Fury. Maybe go back to that.

Phenomenal. And it's like five hours. Yeah, it's awesome. It does have a huge issue, though, and that is Bowser's Fury. Yeah, there's like, this mechanic where Bowser just kind of like, you know, like the blood moon in Zelda. It's kind of like that where just every once in a while, like, Giant Bowser comes and, like, ruins things. And it's kind of annoying. Like, it's. It's not a fun thing. But, yeah, I mean, I love that. And that's the thing, too, is, like, I'll be happy with pretty much anything we're talking about here. Like, because I also really, really love 3D World. And if we got another 3D World, I would be so stoked. I just don't see them ever doing that. Like, I feel like 3D world kind of did everything that type of game can achieve. I think Nintendo's proved me wrong before, but they've also proved me right when we got New Super Mario Brothers 10,000 times. Yeah.

I wouldn't be surprised if, like, we got a 3D world remix someday. Like, in the way of, hey, we've not done. We've not messed around with this format in A while. Let's just create a bunch of new levels and repackage. It is something that feels new, that feels fresh. But yeah, to the Bowser's Fury evolution idea, I think my ideal game would be, you have that overworld hub world that is this big explorable thing like Bowser's Fury, but then within that, you have levels that are the linear courses. Like, I guess it sounds like I'm explaining Don Kong Bonanza or Mario Odyssey, but I think I want the big world to be a big interconnected thing as opposed to separate levels, and then have levels that are findable in that world that then give me that galaxy feeling or give me that more linear 3D world type of feeling.

Yeah, no, I mean, that sounds amazing. Another dream game for me would just be Mario 64 too, where it's just a castle, but with, like, a bunch of new paintings, some old paintings with just, like, stars in new places and all that. Like, that'd be so cool.

I mean, I pray it's Kirby in the forgotten land too, and I think it is. They had a hit. That game sold so well. It was so critically well received. Like, he was freaking awesome. Yeah, I. I think.
