Sobriety for me has been the ultimate and only life optimization tool, period. Without being sober, I am dead. I'm sharing this with you because I know how hard it is when you are deep in the throes of either functional addict behavior or full blown, bottom of the barrel, Bowery style addiction. You can stop right now and realize a life way beyond anything you have ever contemplated or imagined. All it takes is all you got, one day at a time and you will have a life way beyond the wildest dreams. An entrepreneur straight out of New York City. Michael Chernow what's cracking. Monday moment, Monday moment. In this Monday moment, I am probably not talking to everybody. I'm probably not talking to everybody, but I am talking to you. If you have been struggling with substances, whether it's alcohol, whether it's marijuana, whether it's harder substances, pills, Adderall, I just want to share that. Sobriety for me has been the ultimate and only life optimization tool, period. Without being sober, I am dead. And so for people like me who have addictive personalities, who have typically only one speed, and that speed is go, who are really down to take risks for people like me, and that could very well be you, substance is the worst possible thing you can do. Now you might have needed to hear this for a long time and maybe you've heard it from friends, maybe you've heard it from family, but you haven't heard it from me necessarily. Or you might have, but I want this one to sink in. You can stop. You can stop. I have abstained from using any mood or mind altering substance for over 21 years. And I'm not saying that to get a pat on the back or to have a long, you know, sober trophy. Not saying it to make you feel bad either. I'm sharing this with you because I know how hard it is when you are deep in the throes of either functional addict behavior or full blown, bottom of the barrel, Bowery style addiction. And by the way, I want to remind you that those two things are not far off from each other. It is hard to believe that there is a life outside of substance for someone who uses substances all the time, abuses substances and has a substance abuse disorder, because it is truly a disorder, is a mental illness illness that keeps you on the substance. I'm just here to tell you you can stop right now. Like right now if you wanted to. Actually now, if you're drinking an enormous amount of alcohol, you're going to want to go to a detox or if you're on barbiturates you're going to want to properly detox off of those drugs, but you can stop right now. I want that to sink in. You can stop right now and realize a life way beyond anything you have ever contemplated or imagined. Now, you might be crushing it in business, still using and drinking. You might be thriving in other areas of your life, but the alcohol or the drugs just keep you. There's. It just. There's a shackle. It's keeping you from full potential. And you might be like, I was down and out, ready to die. There's a solution. There's a solution that. I never knew existed. And, God, am I grateful for being granted the strength to get sober. Because, friends, I am here to tell you that I would have been dead, especially with what's going on today with fentanyl and all the other killer drugs. I would have been dead. Not being able to have. Not having not met my wife and had my kids and, you know, been able to build business and achieve goals that I never thought was possible. Run marathons and compete in. In. In Muay Thai and become a pro bodybuilder. Like, I'm lit. I'm listing these things that I've done because I just want to tell you that I was where you are. And that's why I started this podcast by saying I'm not speaking to everyone, but I am speaking to you. Please have trust and faith in me and believe that I'm telling you the truth. You can stop right now. Never have to deal with that life again. All it takes is all you got. One day at a time, and you will have a life way beyond your wildest dreams. I don't know if this one was for you, but it would mean the world to me if you shared it with someone who you think might appreciate it if it wasn't for you. And if it is for you, I'm here for you. I believe in you. When you stop believing in yourself, your friends and family stop believing in you because of your addiction, just know I believe in you. And if no one else told you today, they love you. I love you. You got this promise? I promise. With every cell in my body, I promise. Today's the day. Until the next one, y'. All. Peace.
