This is Kentucky Sports Radio here live from cold Kearney, Nebraska, right off the side of the interstate at the Candlewood Suites where the people are so nice to let us be here. Thank you very much. We are in the lobby and excited to be with you. And give us a shout. Clark's Puppet Shop phone line 859-280-2287 Aviation Auto Glass Text Machine is 772-774-5254 in this dish and sponsored by the TJ Smith Law Office because TJ he'll make them pay. Kearney, Nebraska in the middle to western part of Nebraska. It is cold but a surprisingly Ryan kind of good place. At least this old part off the interstate. We had a good time last night. We went to dinner at Max's choice of a restaurant. We had margaritas at the family and tradition margarita place. And now and Mario had six shots of fireball and now we are here ready to go this morning.
Drew Franklin
So far, Carney has not disappointed. But man, I'm so excited because I have one of my favorite fun facts ever for Kearney, Nebraska.
Matt Jones
I'm already. I'm already.
Shannon The Dude
Did you notice how he set up on the couch?
Matt Jones
He did. And that usually means it's not a good one. So go ahead, what is it?
Drew Franklin
Can we do it here in the first segment or can we just tease it for the last?
Matt Jones
We'll hang on a second in. We're in Carney, Nebraska. This is the sand hill crane capital of the world. Apparently all the sand hill cranes will come here and like hang out and you know, have a social event when they're when they're going south for the winter and then they come back when they're going north and they kind of hang out here. Maybe it's Candlewood Suites, but they're not here right now. But people here like the cranes.
Shannon The Dude
Yeah, most people Come through here to see the cranes. We're a little early. Maybe late. Regardless, it seems they may have left a smell around town.
Matt Jones
I will say this. I don't. We love carney. I'm not trying to be rude, Shannon, because, you know, I like carney. Yeah, it does smell like horse poop. The whole town. And I don't say. Am I right? He. He said it.
Mario
Like you're saying it, though. You're saying, carne, Nebraska smells like crap. That's what you just said. He just said that. I mean, they'll be nice to us, and you come in here and say they smell like crap.
Matt Jones
Trying to be. I'm not being rude, because the people here have been nice. The food was good.
Drew Franklin
Really good.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
The. The chairs at the Mexican place.
Mario
Good. Yeah. Cheers.
Shannon The Dude
Mario ate two dinners.
Matt Jones
Mario ate dinner twice at the same restaurant.
Mario
He's a growing boy.
Matt Jones
He is.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
I wish we had his metabolism. But it does smell like horse poop here.
Mario
Yeah, well, it happens, you know? I mean, it does in Kentucky, too. I didn't know anything about. I didn't know anything about the state of Nebraska, except for the movie Nebraska, which is great, which is in black and white. And I thought that when we crossed the border, everything would be in black and white. And it kind of was. It was windmills, an open land, and. A lot like Kansas, actually.
Matt Jones
Here we are. Max, how are you enjoying yet another state on your list?
Max
I'm enjoying it. The more you travel around, though, the more things stay the same. I walked down from a hotel room this morning, you know, wiping my eyes, ready to grab my coffee, and what do I know? Things stay the same. Matt's down here watching Fox News.
Matt Jones
I tried to get that off my television as quickly as possible.
Max
He got a call. Continue to stand back. Stand by. He's got all the usual things.
Matt Jones
Well, good. Well, we have. Thank you. We have four folks who've made the trip. I think there may be a few more coming in a little bit. All of whom drove from Omaha to be here. Isn't that. It's very nice. Including one, a young man who you apparently sent a cameo to. I love this story. You sent a cameo to him a couple years ago for his birthday. And the first 15 seconds. Were you trying to figure out how to use your phone?
Drew Franklin
Yeah, I remember this one for a little young Braden. I was in a bad WI FI area, and my screen froze, but apparently it was still rolling and got.
Matt Jones
And you sent him 15 seconds of you licking your teeth with your tongue, trying to yeah.
Drew Franklin
Figure out why is this froze here.
Mario
You realize you don't have to send that, right? Like you can send it to drafts. Maybe try it again.
Drew Franklin
I. I don't know why. I think it was all part of the WI Fi issue that's part of.
Max
The Ryan cameo experience.
Mario
You never know what you're going to get.
Drew Franklin
Never know what you're going to get.
Matt Jones
You don't know what you're going to get. And it could be him grossly licking his tongue. All right, so now give us the. That your fact about Kearney, Nebraska.
Drew Franklin
Kearney, Nebraska is the exact center of the United States between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. It's Kearney, Nebraska.
Mario
Wow.
Matt Jones
You're saying this is the exact center of the United States right here between.
Drew Franklin
The Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.
Matt Jones
So the continental United States.
Drew Franklin
Yeah. This is the. This is the considered.
Matt Jones
Where'd you hear that?
Drew Franklin
Google Wikipedia.
Matt Jones
So we're like right in the middle of America. So when they talk about middle America, they're talking about here.
Drew Franklin
There may be a somewhere they say is the middle.
Matt Jones
Now he's already like, he's already taken.
Shannon The Dude
I'm sure he talks.
Drew Franklin
Somebody's probably staying there in the middle United States. This is the exact midpoint between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean right here.
Matt Jones
Okay. I'm not part of the Atlantic Ocean.
Drew Franklin
It's probably the shore, but they're sure all up. It could be. Probably the closest could be. And the closest in the Pacific Ocean. The closest in a lot of facts.
Matt Jones
You look and it says Shannon could be.
Mario
I don't believe any of it. Even if it were true, I'm not that impressed. I mean, I was blown away.
Matt Jones
You were blown away.
Mario
I'm glad we didn't tease that any longer. Would have been a big let down.
Matt Jones
Yeah, you should have let. You shouldn't have given me five extra minutes. You said it was your most excited fact you'd ever had. That's what you're coming up with?
Drew Franklin
Yeah. That fun fact, I think is really, really a lot.
Matt Jones
As we said also yesterday, it's the corporate headquarters of the Buckle. Do you ever shopped at the Buckle?
Max
Haven't shopped at the Buckle yet. Would love to, but haven't shopped at the Buckle yet.
Mario
I think I've got one pair of jeans. You know the skinny jeans that you always make fun of me? I think they came from the Buckle.
Matt Jones
Those are like size 28. Those are the skinniest jeans I've ever seen.
Mario
They make my butt look great, though.
Matt Jones
Do you Wear them when you sing.
Mario
That's right. Yeah.
Shannon The Dude
It doesn't seem to be on the same page.
Matt Jones
What does he generally. I go with the Internet. What is it say? Google.
Shannon The Dude
So I've typed Carney, Nebraska. Then lots of keywords. Center, middle of America, middle of the oceans, center point. None of those things have triggered any result that would suggest this is.
Matt Jones
Did you. All right, let me see where you got it. First of all, this is. You just went to cityofkearney.org or kearney. Okay. We believe that in 1964, Kearney was linked with Interstate 8, which created a book. Why are you showing me this? This just says it has motels and restaurants.
Drew Franklin
Keep reading, Young mats.
Matt Jones
A striking feature about Kearney is it's located halfway between the Atlanta and Pacific Ocean.
Mario
Ta da. That's what you got out of that, huh?
Matt Jones
Yeah. All right. Well, we'll see if the challenge flag is thrown, but it's still been nice here. A couple of things. First of all, Kentucky and Clemson play tonight. That game is late. It's at 9:30 Eastern tonight. It's going to be a late game. If you are in Kentucky, you can come watch it at the bar there. We're going to be up open late for it, but we are going to be watching the game in Fort Collins, Colorado. Now, Drew is part of this trip because, you know, Ryan always likes to go. We eat with Matt Wednesday, we drink with Matt Wednesday. Like he always likes to say that. So I've been trying to spread it out. I'm giving everybody a chance to pick the restaurants. You picked last night. Two nights ago. You did well last night. Max picked Cunningham's on the river, which was very good. Shannon is picking lunch today in North Platte, Nebraska. Tell everybody where you pick.
Mario
Penny's Diner. Can I read you a quick review?
Matt Jones
This is Penny's Diner where we're eating lunch.
Mario
1 stars Air vents are visibly caked with dirt and dust. So who knows how much is falling into your food or what you're breathing. We waited 45 minutes for dry, overcooked cheeseburgers served by a waitress with a chronic cough. That is my kind of place right there. I want to go right now.
Max
If we're not doing the pregame show tonight, you know what happened?
Matt Jones
What?
Max
We just got some really bad food there.
Matt Jones
We got the chronic cough. So. So here's the update. So we're going to eat North Platte, then we're staying in beautiful Windsor, Colorado. I got our first Airbnb of the trip. It has. It has a hot Tub. It has s'mores, it has a fire pit. That's where we're going to do the pregame show. That's also probably where we're going to do the morning show tomorrow. So for those of you wondering where to come see us in Windsor, Colorado, or tomorrow morning, it will be Windsor, Colorado. So if you're in Windsor, write me. I'll send you the address so you know where you're going tonight.
Shannon The Dude
Six bedrooms.
Matt Jones
It has. It has four bedrooms, but one bedroom has five beds.
Mario
Don't worry, I'll have the review on my.
Max
Wait, what bedroom has five?
Matt Jones
There's.
Shannon The Dude
There's a child's bed.
Matt Jones
There's a California king bed.
Shannon The Dude
Dibs.
Matt Jones
I got that one. There's a king bed, there is a queen bed, and then there's a room that has two doubles, a twin and a trundle bed. And I don't know what a trundle bed is.
Mario
They said it pulls out like a drawer.
Matt Jones
It slides out like a drawer.
Shannon The Dude
I put Mario in my drawer.
Matt Jones
Okay, so. But. So three of you will get to be in one room.
Mario
Like a morgue.
Matt Jones
But, but. But there are six beds. It's just three of you are in the same room.
Max
That's fine by me as long as we're not with Ryan. Apparently, Mario struggled last night.
Matt Jones
Oh, I didn't hear about that. Did Mario. Did you struggle to sleep here? Get on here for a second. I want to hear your description of Ryan snoring. What? You. This is the first time you've had to stay with Ryan. What does him. His snoring sound like?
Mario
You want me to give you an example?
Matt Jones
Yeah.
Mario
Yes, I got you.
Shannon The Dude
It's.
Matt Jones
It's kind of like all night long. Did you. Okay. You don't look happy. Did you. It was 5am I woke up and the TV, usually I put the TV.
Mario
On to kind of drown out the.
Matt Jones
Noise, but it kept turning off. So I would wake up every hour.
Mario
Or so and I just hear him.
Matt Jones
Snort, snoring, do one more impression. So did you at any point try to rustle him or wake him up?
Mario
No, I didn't because I was just like, he's.
Matt Jones
He's sleeping already.
Mario
Just let him have his dream sleep.
Matt Jones
Oh, that was very nice of you.
Mario
At least you woke up. You know, you said would imply you fell asleep at some point.
Matt Jones
So did you get any sleep? A little bit. Yeah. A little bit. Well, we won't put you with him every night. Tonight we'll give him the trundle bed himself. And it'll Be all right. Well, I'm glad you got through it. That's it. That's part of the. Part of the trip. We've all done it now Mario gets to do it.
Shannon The Dude
I like that. He let Ryan dream. Let Ryan chase cars in his sleep there while Mario had to. Had to put up with it. No noise canceling headphones, nothing.
Matt Jones
Nothing. Well, it is tough. I have a lot of people that write me asking if you would. Maybe you might want to get it looked at. Have you thought about it?
Drew Franklin
I did. Remember, I went through the whole sleep test process.
Matt Jones
I mean, did you. They give you one of the machines?
Drew Franklin
I did, Sam. They had me test it with one of those machines and. Like, I'm not a candidate. Like, I'm almost there.
Mario
You're not a candidate? Who is?
Matt Jones
What do you mean you're not a candidate? You snore more than anyone I've ever known. How are you not a candidate?
Drew Franklin
I think they say mine's all allergy related.
Mario
Not a candidate.
Matt Jones
I do not believe.
Max
Yeah, that's what it is.
Mario
Not a candidate. You should be president of the sleep apnea club.
Matt Jones
Not a candidate. It's apparently, like. I mean, people say it's a little dangerous. Aren't you concerned about it?
Drew Franklin
I was until I got it tested and I came back.
Matt Jones
Okay, so you did not come back. Okay. You're not okay. You snore like a wildebeest.
Drew Franklin
I think I should sleep with you tonight so you could.
Matt Jones
There you go. No, there's. There will be no nights with me now. I'm going to spread it. Like, I'm willing to give you the single bed. Not for you, but for the rest of humanity.
Drew Franklin
But I slept with him one time, Max. And the middle of the night, he's right over top of me, clap his hands and then jump back. He jumped back in bed real fast.
Matt Jones
I would hit him with a pillow and. Because if you hit him back, well, the thing is, he'll stop for like a minute and then you jump in bed like, please fall asleep. Please fall asleep. It's the worst. It is the worst because again, it's not even consistent. Right, Mario? It's like it's. It's not consistent. It's not like a.
Mario
It's not a rhythm.
Matt Jones
There's no rhythm, which. Listen, I'm. I know there are people listening here who work in the CPAP area.
Drew Franklin
Yeah.
Matt Jones
I refuse to believe you're not a candidate. I can't imagine who would be a candidate besides you. Like, for instance, last night, I was in same room as Shannon. He started a little bit and I noticed I did my.
Mario
Oh, you didn't tell me this.
Matt Jones
No, I didn't go above you. I just did it in the thing and you flipped over and then you didn't snore again.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
You start snoring before I even finish the class.
Drew Franklin
Yeah, for sure. Maybe. You know, it has been several years since I got the original test. Maybe things have changed 10 years later.
Matt Jones
Yeah, maybe. Maybe in 10 years. 10 years.
Mario
You think you've gotten healthier, huh? The perfect picture of bad health.
Matt Jones
859-280-2287 we are going to take your calls today. We did not yesterday. If you want to weigh in on the on the stoop situation, we're going to talk a lot about Kentucky and Clemson today. Levar Arrington
Hey, this is Levar Arrington here from up on Game and listen, I want to talk to you about something very serious for a minute, all right? Something personal to me and right now something that should be personal to you as well. In our country, the hate is at an all time high and it's like we're going backward. The hate is winning. We can't allow that, all right? It's out of control. So many different people, so many different groups are facing too much hate and it's enough. It's time for it to stop. We need to stop, regroup, change the momentum as a team because that's what we are. Everyone in this country is on the same team. So let's act like it. And when a team can't get it together, what do you do? You call a timeout. And that's what we need to do, call a time out against hate. Let's think about what we say and do. And when we see hate, when we see someone doing or saying those things we know are wrong and hateful, we need to call it out. I'ma call it out. You need to do the same thing. Visit standuptoallhate.org to help and join me and calling for a timeout against hate by following at what's up with Hate or posting the blue square emoji.
Matt Jones
Welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio. Let me first of all say to the, to the folks that are here, yeah, I can't tell you how much I enjoy that. This is one of my favorite things in doing the show is going out on the road and I mean, we're in a random place. Both of the, both of these groups of people drove from Nebraska. This was the stop I was most worried we would have no people at because it's literally there's nothing around here. And yet we do have people. And it means a lot that people are listening all the way across the. Across the country. I expected John Higgins to be here since we're close to Omaha. He did not make the trip, Drew. I'd hoped to, you know, maybe have some common ground, but he did not. But it was nice of these people to make the trip.
Shannon The Dude
Great seeing them. I wish we had seen him. Maybe we could do a lap around, see his childhood home, all his landmarks he has around Nebraska.
Max
My former long snapper that we worked here, I messaged him yesterday, said, could you get anyone to the show? He said, there is no one in Nebraska that would bother coming to your radio show.
Matt Jones
Dude, eat it. I used to root for you to snap it straight. Well, now I hope you snap it crooked, Kristin, because that's. That's not very nice. Corey Price has already looked up an article on Penny's Diner.
Mario
Oh, yeah.
Matt Jones
North Platte, Nebraska. It says something unique to Penny's Diner is the dry race boards on every wall. Children and adults are encouraged to make a drawing using the dry race markers.
Mario
We gotta do one then, right? What are we gonna put on ours?
Matt Jones
I know what Ryan will put and they'll immediately delete it. Mommy swami. No, it'll be. It'll be a symbol of something. I know what he will do. But for everybody else, we can do some dry racing.
Shannon The Dude
I'm looking forward to that. Maybe drop some plays, go over some offense. How? Fix Kentucky football.
Matt Jones
It'll be fun. Yeah. 859-280-2287. Before we go the phones, Vince was obviously on here yesterday. It got a lot of attention after the show. I think the general consensus was people thought it wasn't the most inspiring interview in the world from him. You know, we. Yesterday, it was weird when it was hat we had so much going on yesterday and when we had him on, you know, in the moment, we all kind of looked at each other like, this isn't the normal Vince that we're used to hearing. But we had to immediately get back to the show and do all this going back and listening. It wasn't the way it normally is with him. Wouldn't you agree?
Drew Franklin
I totally agree. It wasn't Vince's finest moment. He seemed very elusive and seemed to dance around your questions and you'd ask him a yes or no question. He'd pause and wait a long time even before he said yes. It just. It just didn't seem like the Vince that we know it didn't.
Matt Jones
And maybe it's just because there was a lot going on. I mean, I don't know. But it did not. You know, Drew, it just wasn't the rah rah Vince that we are used to. I got blasted online for people going, why didn't you yell at him?
Mario
Like, why don't you yell at him?
Matt Jones
Well, I mean, people are like, why didn't you press him? I mean, I.
Mario
You kind of did.
Matt Jones
I did. And he answered it the way he answered. I mean, I'm. I. I'm not gonna scream at the guy. I feel this. I felt the same way when people would. You know, when we would talk to Cal and people would be mad back in the day, like, you can't. I mean, I give them that chance to answer, and then they answer. I did think, though, it wasn't necessarily the best at telling the fans, hey, it's all going to be okay.
Shannon The Dude
No, he kind of didn't really want to get into the Louisville thing, which was the main story and kind of the reason he had gotten on the air, because that report had come out. And then the thing that worried me was at the end when you said something about.
Matt Jones
I guess I said, are you going to be back in Lexington?
Shannon The Dude
His yes wasn't the most enthusiastic yes. And there was a pause there. It was like a.
Mario
It was a hostage situation. Yes. Yes.
Matt Jones
Yeah.
Mario
Like somebody, like, standing over top of, I love Vince. I love him. But I actually felt worse about his chance of staying at Kentucky after the interview. If he hadn't done the interview, I would have said, okay, he says he's not going. I believe him. After that interview, I don't know. I felt like it was. It was worse for me to think he's going to stay.
Max
He said that they had that big meeting the night before, so I'm hoping we can just put it down to they had a big day, and they'd stayed up all night trying to fix the program, and he was just tired. But there was some moments. For me, the biggest moment was when he said, we've got the pieces. We just need to, you know, plug a few holes. To me, it's like, there's a lot of places that we need to replace. We really need to go hit the portal hard and get some guys from high school. And, you know, he mentioned two really good guards. I mean, no offense to those guys. I think we could probably replace all five of our offensive line right now.
Matt Jones
Yeah, that's another. That's another thing that people were a Little frustrated about. So we'll see. I mean, you know, with all this stuff, there is. I remember when Pope was building his roster, Ryan, there is a sense of like, you're not going to know everything tomorrow, you know? And there was a lot of people who didn't think Pope was filling his roster quick enough. We didn't get great Ossobor, and some people were like, oh, this team's not gonna be. We're number four in the country right now, so sometimes you have to let it play out. But I do understand the nervousness in the fan base right now, and we'll see where we are in a few weeks.
Drew Franklin
Yeah, up until the past couple years, they've killed it in the transfer portal and killed it with the recruits. For whatever reason, they just kind of missed on some guys.
Matt Jones
But in the past few years, we've had guys returning we knew we could count on, and I think people are worried about that this year. And so we'll.
Max
The most important thing that he said, and I think that there's a lot more to this than maybe people making. He said that they're going to do such a bigger look into the, like, the character of the human that they're bringing in. I think that's going to make a world of difference.
Matt Jones
I think that's great, but there's a part of me that goes, well, why. Why weren't we doing that before? I mean, I agree, yes, it needs to change, but also, there's a part of me going that we should have been doing that, because they did a pretty good job of that with guys coming out of high school in general.
Max
Stoops thing used to be we probably had enough good culture guys, and the culture was strong enough that we were able to just bring guys in and they would fit in. Now, I think with nil, you're getting so many new guys all the time that maybe that overrode the culture.
Matt Jones
Maybe so.
Max
So now back to the characters. Great.
Matt Jones
859-280-2287. Who's up first?
Drew Franklin
Rick got Steve up first.
Matt Jones
Steve. Go ahead, Steve. Hey, good morning, guys.
Kentucky Joe
Thanks for taking my call. The reason I'm calling, I'm in Atlanta.
Levar Arrington
And I'm heading over the Clemson game tonight.
Kentucky Joe
And I was just curious if you think there's going to be a large UK contingency.
Matt Jones
I've heard of people, some people going, I don't know if it will be large, but I do think there will be people going, steve, I would ask if you go to the game, do me a Favor. Call the post game show after and let us know what it was like and how many Kentucky fans were there. I can do that. Appreciate, appreciate the call. Generally speaking, when Kentucky's played at South Carolina over the years, Ryan, we've gotten a good crowd there. I don't know if this will be different because I don't know how many tickets were available to the general fans. But back in the day when we play South Carolina when they weren't good, we'd have 30% of the crowd there.
Drew Franklin
Yeah, usually when they played South Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech, somebody down there. That Atlanta UK alumni chapter is like the biggest in the country outside of Kentucky. So they usually flood those games. So yeah, there'll be a good crowd there, but it won't miss a home game for Clinton. It's not gonna be a monster.
Matt Jones
And we've already played in Atlanta this year. You know, the Champions Classic game against Duke was there. So that may be thing a part of it too.
Shannon The Dude
That's what I was gonna add. We're gonna have to trust the locals. Just there's so many destinations this fall. I mean, you can even throw in just going to Austin. A lot of people did that. You still have New York. I think Seattle is gonna have people made that. The trip. It just ranked a little too far down the list this year for, you know, everyone to fall into Clemson. But I still think a good local crowd will show.
Matt Jones
I mean, this is the kind of game to me, Shannon, that if you're a really good team, and I'm not going to be critical of this team, if they're not a really good team, they can still become one. But if you're a really good team, this is the kind of game you win. Right. Like you go to south, you go to Clemson, you're better than them, but they're at home. Right. Which is a whole nother thing. They've really not played anybody good. They've played. Boise State is the best team. They played.
Mario
They lost. Yeah.
Matt Jones
So I mean, they really haven't played anybody good. This is the kind of game you want to go get the victory.
Mario
The 7 and 1 record looks good, but you're right, you start looking at who they played and they didn't really beat a lot of those teams by a large margin. They struggled with some of those teams. So yeah, you feel like you can go in and win that game. I feel like Kentucky is going to drop one of the two games coming up. Either the one we're going to or this game tonight. And we'll see what happens. But I feel like I feel good about this game tonight.
Matt Jones
Yeah. So real quickly, I will look at their schedule just to give you a sense. They beat Florida AM by I guess 8. 28. They beat Penn State at home by 8. They beat San Francisco. Radford lost by 13 to Boise. They only beat Eastern by 10. Right. And they beat St. Francis and Charleston Southern. So not exactly a murderer's row.
Drew Franklin
Yeah. You know, we're thinking of the Clemson of last year. That was really good. Made a run to the sweet 16 and people thought they had a chance to even make the final.
Matt Jones
But they have some of those dudes back. Which is why. Which is why. Yeah, I mean, that's why they paired us with them is I think they thought with some of those dudes back, they'd be good.
Shannon The Dude
Their best players been there six years.
Matt Jones
Really?
Shannon The Dude
Yeah.
Matt Jones
I mean, my guess is whatever is their best effort, Drew, is what we will get tonight.
Shannon The Dude
Yeah. And for me, I think straight up, Kentucky would have no problem. In fact, I can't wait to get to a state with DraftKings so I can get on that. But that atmosphere is the one thing that can carry.
Matt Jones
What's the spread? Do we know to. It's to us or.
Shannon The Dude
Yeah, we got to get to a state ASAP.
Matt Jones
All right, we'll be in Colorado, 859-280-2287. We'll take across be back here in Kearney, Nebraska. KSR. Welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio. A lot of good messages coming in on the text machine. 772-774-5254. One person writes, Matt, if Ryan, if they say he's not a candidate for cpap, maybe he should have his tonsils taken out. That helps some people. Have you thought about that?
Drew Franklin
I've never heard of that.
Matt Jones
Maybe you should get your tonsils out. They'll give you ice cream.
Drew Franklin
I'd be willing to do that. If it helps.
Shannon The Dude
We can find a place in Fort Collins.
Matt Jones
Yeah. Why don't we just go ahead and do it right now just so that we have a better trip.
Drew Franklin
I'm okay with that.
Matt Jones
Let's do it. Just go ahead and get them knocked now. Maybe while we're out here. I think that would be good. One person writes, matt, why do you continue to pick hotels that don't have continental breakfasts? I know that bothers Shannon.
Mario
It does, Yeah. I love a continental breakfast. Like right now, my stomach is roaring. I'm just waiting for pennies. But, you know, I like to get up and have a Little continental breakfast.
Matt Jones
Yeah, but not. But, you know, I mean, what are you. What are you going to get?
Mario
Eggs, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy. Hash browns, maybe some yogurt, orange juice, apple. Mario likes apple juice. Apple juice, Some coffee. I got my coffee. But other than that, you know.
Matt Jones
When did you become such a diva.
Mario
Like I've always been?
Matt Jones
Tomorrow you're going to have a trundle bed and we're going to get you some. We're going to get you some vanilla doordash.
Mario
My breakfast.
Matt Jones
We're going to DoorDash McDonald's. And that's what's going to happen. And you're going to like it. So one person writes, matt, I think you were soft on your interview with Vince. You didn't press him because he's your friend. It was a low moment for ks.
Mario
Geez.
Matt Jones
Well, thank you for that. I don't know what people want me to do. All right, so let's use the. I want to give you an example, because when we were driving, as people were saying that, I was thinking about some of that. When I say, are you going to go to Louisville? First of all, when I say, you know, are you planning on being back? Yes. What about the rumor about Louisville? And he goes, I don't want to comment on that. What would you like me to do with that point? Yeah, go. Commented on a chicken.
Mario
Yeah, Like.
Matt Jones
Like, what do you want me to say? Awesome.
Shannon The Dude
Like.
Matt Jones
Like. I mean, I cannot make the man. Like, he would probably just say the same thing again, Right? So when I say, are you going to be back? And he stammers and then say. He says, yes. What would you like me to do?
Mario
Then go, are you sure?
Matt Jones
I mean, is that really yes or is that.
Mario
Is that your final answer?
Matt Jones
Is that your fight? Like another thing people said. Well, you know, he said the thing about the offensive line. We have some sob pieces. He mentioned one of the players and people like, how could you not press him on that? Do you want me to look at him and go, that guy you think is good? He's not good? I mean, I just don't know what people think. The job of a reporter. I'm not even a reporter of an interviewer is in that question. Also, I have nine minutes. If I was sitting with him for an hour, that's a different conversation. Normally, you know, I don't like to do interviews on the phone. Okay. For that very reason. You can't look at somebody, can't read them. It's hard to cut people off on the phone. Although I do it to callers, but for interviews, I can cut somebody off when I'm looking at them a lot easier than I can cut them off when I'm on the phone. So that makes it hard. You have nine minutes. The other thing is, and this is true of every coach that comes on here, they don't have to do this. Right. I think they should. I think it was a mistake. For years, Cows did. Cal didn't. But if you come on there and you berate them, they'll never come on again.
Mario
Why would they?
Matt Jones
Why would.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
And then you throw in that, yes, I acknowledge he's my friend, but I think people. It's really easy online to say, you should have burned. I bet 99% of people, if you were talking to him, you'd asked him for an autograph. I mean, let's be real. It's easy to. Theoretically. It's another thing when you have to have the conversation with the other person. In my opinion, he answered the questions. Now, were his answer satisfactory? Clearly, not to a lot of people. And honestly, I love the guy, but not really to me. But that's him. Yeah, that's his decision, and everyone can interpret it the way they want to.
Max
He seemed a little distracted from the very start. Like, I don't know if he was.
Matt Jones
He got a call or something in.
Max
The middle of it, and he was like, hold on a second. So I don't know what was distracting him. Maybe that's why some of his responses were delayed. He was trying to shoot people away. I don't know.
Mario
And to be fair, like, you asked him the question to start, and you end it with the same question.
Matt Jones
So you can't go to law. You said to be clear, to be clear with that. So, you know, I am. I am a harsh critic of myself. And so when I have things, I sit there at the end and think, okay, well, what could I have done differently? And I don't just sit there and go, man, you killed it right there. I sit there and think about it. And I went back and listened last night, and I'm not sure what else I could have asked him that wouldn't just me be going, being hostile, which, if you've listened to this show, I'm really not like that to anybody.
Drew Franklin
Your second question to him was, what do you think went wrong this past season? You had to ask that. Later you asked him, what about the culture? The people are saying the culture is bad. You ask him that. Those questions had to be asked. You did ask them.
Matt Jones
So you Know, there are a lot of people. The one that seemed to get people was when he said that about the offensive line, and he said it's only been one bad. Well, again, do you think it would be good for me to take the player he mentioned, look at him and go, no, I think he's bad.
Mario
Yeah. I think he knows. He knows better than us.
Matt Jones
Like, that's not my job to go, you know.
Drew Franklin
So anyway, that interview was not about the offensive line. It was about Vince's potential, going to another school and leaving.
Matt Jones
And also, if you came out of there, you have. Whether good or bad, you have a sense of where his head is one way or the other, and that, you know, that's ultimately what you're trying to do. Who's next? Johnny Versace is next. Johnny Versace, how are you? Oh, great, Matt.
Kentucky Joe
I'm somewhat of a sleep apnea expert.
Matt Jones
If you would like me. Oh, well, sure. Give it to us because he needs it. Well, it depends. So snoring isn't exactly indicative of sleep apnea. It can be, but sleep apnea is. Literally, you stop breathing for more than.
Kentucky Joe
10 seconds at a time.
Matt Jones
That's at least 10 times an hour. Okay, so he does so that you don't do that, Right? Correct. Okay, good. So then. So then, Johnny, what do you do if someone is snoring like a buffalo but isn't stopping breathing, and matter of fact, he's breathing too much. Yeah, well, that, you know, again, that's not good for your sleep either.
Kentucky Joe
And sleep is extremely.
Matt Jones
Or anyone's but just his. Right, Exactly. Like Mario and Shannon and everybody but the neighbors. No, I mean, there are some. There are some. Yeah, there are some treatments that you can do for really bad snoring. Ron, you. You will endorse anything. You will endorse anything.
Drew Franklin
Yeah.
Matt Jones
And I. Johnny, nice to hear from you. I'm sorry about the loss. I know you hated that Saturday as the Louisville hater. You will endorse anything. If someone got you to endure something that made you not be a water buffalo, would you do it?
Drew Franklin
Oh, absolutely. I would definitely look into it. Yeah.
Matt Jones
Would you endorse something that would give you a shirt that doesn't have a rip on it next to your nipple?
Drew Franklin
Oh, I see it right there.
Mario
You get a nipple rip right on top of it.
Drew Franklin
Now, yoga girl said, I don't snore as much after I lost some. Lost the weight. Like she said, the snoring is not as bad as it used to be.
Matt Jones
Do you believe that, Ryan?
Max
Have you tried the One where some people like tape their mouth shut.
Mario
We're not duct taping his mouth shut.
Matt Jones
If I'd have to sleep with him one night, it may end up happening. Who's next? Andrew is next. Andrew, go ahead, Andrew.
Kentucky Joe
Hey, Matt. Road crew. Nice to talk to you. 98 UK grad L in South Carolina. Best 22 years I've been. I will be at the game tonight. I'll have a couple of friends with me. My son who's actually going to Clemson will be there as well. I'll tell you right now, I've been to many games at Little John. It is a tough compact arena. I really compared to the hump at Mississippi State and size and environment. They'll get the calls tonight to get ready for that one. The good news is they don't have hall and Gerard. Gerard was just actually Gerard, the guy they had last year is one of the top 10 an all time history. High school scores. He's gone.
Matt Jones
Okay.
Kentucky Joe
But they do have. They got a really good guard, Chase Hunter. I mean he's shooting almost 50% from three can. I mean big, big score. And they got those two big. I call them brutes inside the Sheffield. Yeah, he looks like a physics major, but he's really. He's really physical. And they got that big Russian dude, so.
Matt Jones
Yeah, yeah.
Kentucky Joe
And there are some tickets available.
Matt Jones
Well, so that's what I was gonna say. I'm glad you brought that up. That's what I was gonna say. The Gideon Price right now and I pre. Are you going by, sir?
Kentucky Joe
Oh, yes, yes. There's three of us going.
Matt Jones
The get in price right now is only $15.
Drew Franklin
Wow.
Matt Jones
So it might not be. Appreciate the call. It might not be Drew. The atmosphere that we've assumed. I have people showing me tickets like lower level $27. So maybe if you're in the area, might not be as hard to get in as we thought.
Shannon The Dude
Yeah, we don't know that fan base very well.
Matt Jones
You know, they have the ACC championship Sunday.
Shannon The Dude
So dabo still has all their attention right now. And they have flipped the switch over to basketball yet with all they have going on this week.
Drew Franklin
Does dabo trot out at mid court halftime of the game or something tonight? Probably.
Matt Jones
I hope so. I hope we beat him and then we throw the paw down right at him. He's the worst.
Max
The good news is for Mark Pope is he could have just recorded that segment just then and played it to the team and there's your breakdown done.
Matt Jones
It would have been more of a breakdown than they got Last year before the game. Absolutely. Who's up next? Tim is up next. Tim. Go ahead, Tim.
Kentucky Joe
Hey, Matt, don't beat yourself up on that Vince interview. After I listened and I thought it was perfectly fine as long as, I mean, you asked the questions. He can answer them however he wants.
Matt Jones
Yeah, I mean, I. Don't get me wrong, I didn't. But there were people who are usually pretty big fans of the show just acting like we were. We had lost or I'd lost my minds during that interview. So I just went back to see is there something I'm missing here? And I went back and honestly, I don't know what I would have done differently except just go, no. And like, I don't think that's good. I don't think that's a very good thing for an interviewer to do.
Kentucky Joe
Nick Coffey wrote a Twitter article this morning about why the SEC is so much more dominant than the ACC. They're 12 and 1 this year.
Matt Jones
And I kind of sent it around.
Kentucky Joe
To some of my friends in basketball. And the consensus was that the SEC is just a better college experience for those kids that are choosing between, say, an Ole Miss and a Pittsburgh or a Syracuse and a South Carolina.
Matt Jones
If you agree with that.
Kentucky Joe
I totally agree with that South Carolina game. They're going to South Carolina. I'm in South Carolina right now. It's way too cold to go to a basketball game. Enjoy your trip, fellas.
Matt Jones
Appreciate it. I actually do agree with that. I think. I think. And I hadn't thought about it like that, but Max, it's more fun to go to an essay school than most accurate schools.
Max
Absolutely.
Matt Jones
I mean, Kentucky, Louisville has a much better on campus atmosphere than it did 20 years ago, but it's not Kentucky.
Max
It's so much more fun to be in the sec. And the weather, so much better. I mean, you end up going up to those places. Now, some people like the cold. I definitely do not. I don't think the majority of people do. I think he just said it was too cold to go to a basketball game. It's indoors, so I'm sure it'll be fine. But SEC for sure. I mean, look.
Matt Jones
I mean, look at the ACC school schools. Pitt, Boston College, Syracuse. You know, you get very few college towns in the acc. Virginia is a college town. Virginia Tech, Chapel Hill, Duke. But a lot of places aren't. And I, I hadn't thought about like that. But I think it's a good point. Clayton and Croom, Shannon was founded on a simple idea. What's that all leather goods should last a life.
Mario
I agree.
Matt Jones
They make everything from bags, belts, wallets and much more. And at best, they're doing it right here in Kentucky. Kentucky or right there in Kentucky? I'm in Nebraska. Clayton and Croom at C r u m e.com visit their flagship store in Louisville at 216 South Shelby street, located in Nulu. Quality leather goods from Clayton and Croom built to last.
Mario
Have their wallet right here. Look at that. It has lasted ever since I got it. It's lasted your life like 10 years.
Matt Jones
Yeah, man, you got at least 10 more. So I don't maybe.
Mario
I don't know.
Matt Jones
We'll take a break. Be right back. This is Kentucky Sports Radio.

Congratulations to CBS Sports and Sony Electronics for their first place wins for innovation in industry at this year's unconventional awards by T Mobile for Business. In a collaboration that was clearly built on breaking new ground, CBS and Sony created a first of its kind broadcast for the PGA Championship using a custom built T Mobile private 5G network to power the live production. They deployed a 5G wireless camera system throughout the event. The network's speed combined with Sony's innovative ultra low latency video codec allowed for seamless, high quality footage without disruption. With that innovative approach, CBS gave broadcasters the tools they need to do what they do best take their coverage to entirely new places. These innovations will shape the way live sports are covered moving forward. And for that, T Mobile congratulates Sony and CBS for their unconventional thinking.
Levar Arrington
Hey, this is Levar Arrington here from up on Game. And listen, I want to talk to you about something very serious for a minute, all right? Something personal to me and right now something that should be personal to you as well. In our country, the hate is at an all time high and it's like we're going backward. The hate is winning. We can't allow that, all right? It's out of control. So many different people, so many different groups are facing too much hate and it's enough. It's time for it to stop. We need to stop, regroup, change the momentum as a team, because that's what we are. Everyone in this country is on the same team, so let's act like it. And when a team can't get it together, what do you do? You call a timeout. And that's what we need to do, call a time out against hate. Let's think about what we say and do. And when we see hate, when we see someone doing or saying those things we know are wrong and hateful, we need to call it out. I'mma call it out. You need to do the same thing. Visit standuptoallhate.org to help and join me in calling for a timeout against hate by following at what's up with Hate or posting the blue square emoji.

Mario
Black Keys.
Matt Jones
Yes, I like it. Rick bringing the music. 859-280-2287 Text machine 772 774-5-254 One person writes Matt. People always ask who you'd want to play golf with or have dinner with. I'll take the opposite. Who would be your worst people to have dinner with? I assume Trump and Dabo are two of them. Dabo maybe Trump. No, I mean, I don't like him at all as a leader, but at a dinner, I actually think he would be entertaining for his absurdity. So I actually implant. It's a former president, so there might be. I mean, I feel like he'd just tell you whatever happened early. You know what I mean? I feel like he just, he just let it fly. So, so, so he would be interesting for a dinner. I think if you're talking about dinner like the worst from a political standpoint, it's Ted Cruz. Dabo's good. Aaron Rodgers.
Drew Franklin
That's a good one.
Matt Jones
And I don't know, somebody who's just really boring but likes to hear themselves talk would be someone I would. I'm trying to think. H. I have to think.
Mario
I got mine.
Matt Jones
Who is it? Who's yours?
Mario
Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. Nobody would understand anybody.
Matt Jones
Oh, you. Oh, you're worried they just don't speak the same language.
Mario
I feel like they're probably not good leaders and I don't think I would like that.
Matt Jones
I think I like the idea.
Mario
I don't want to hang out with Putin.
Matt Jones
You're partially considering whether or not you could understand what they said. That's very valid.
Mario
And if they're going to kill me at the end of the dinner, I mean, they might get poison now. They weren't going to before get poisoned.
Matt Jones
What about you, Ryan? Who's going to be in yours? Jim Host.
Drew Franklin
He would somehow enjoy being with.
Shannon The Dude
Yes.
Drew Franklin
I think though, you and Trump would enjoy playing golf together. Foot wedge. Pick it up.
Matt Jones
We're not. There's no cheating. It's just pick up from five feet in. I'm not stealing it. I just. I let them know, Drew, it's happening sometimes.
Shannon The Dude
Or sometimes. The rest of your groups in the fairway waiting to hit their approach.
Matt Jones
I do play the green. I do finish the whole quiz quickly.
Mario
You did.
Drew Franklin
You and Trump would play 18 holes.
Matt Jones
In golfer in the United States. What about you? Who would you not want at your dinner?
Shannon The Dude
I'm struggling because even people I don't like, I think it would be funny to have dinner with them.
Matt Jones
Yeah, I agree.
Shannon The Dude
Someone you just mentioned that lives nearby in Omaha. I probably would enjoy that.
Matt Jones
She wouldn't want to have dinner with the rest.
Shannon The Dude
You know, I'm not an aggressive person.
Matt Jones
That's true. He's the fourth one. He's the fourth one.
Shannon The Dude
I might flip a table over in that setting.
Matt Jones
He's the fourth one for me. That's a really good call. We won't mention his name, Although I did earlier. But he would be forced. What about you? You're a pretty harsh person.
Max
Am I? I don't know. Dabo would be up there. There's a guy on ESPN that used to be a specialist. He'd be up there of guys I would not want.
Matt Jones
He's on TV a lot.
Max
He is a little bit, but he's just not that funny. And these opinions aren't that great.
Matt Jones
Shannon. I always like to do this, you know, about once every year UK players put out a song.
Mario
Oh, yes.
Matt Jones
And when they put out a song, nobody's better at grading.
Mario
Yep.
Matt Jones
UK songs. Before we play this one, in the past, what. What do you think has been the best and worst UK related song?
Mario
There hasn't been a best one. The worst one was Teach Me About Kentucky. Like, there was nothing that was even kind of good.
Matt Jones
Now there's a new one.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
Our advertiser, Clark's Pumping Shop, has got Lamont Butler doing a rap about Clark's Pumping Shop.
Mario
We love Clarks.
Matt Jones
And in the video, Lamont Butler is with Andrew Carr and Jackson Robinson. Yes, but the rapping is all Lamont. But now this is 30 seconds. Shannon, I consider you. You're the music guy.
Mario
Yeah.
Matt Jones
I consider you the expert on songs about Kentucky. Let's play I Pump and I Shop by Lamont Butler. I'm rolling on empty Holly if you feel me Gotta make a pit stop Got my boy's car Rock Robinson rolling with me I pump my gas I grab my snacks I'm saving cash with my Clark's Pumping Shop app and shop I pump and shop I use the app to pump and shop Use Clark's Pump and Shop app to earn what do you think, Shannon? I pump, I shop I use the app to pump and shop what was with the year?
Mario
Yeah, did you hear that at the very beginning? What was that background that Jackson Robinson? It wasn't Jack Robinson. I mean, it was better than Teach Me Back Kentucky. But it wasn't. It still wasn't great, was it? I mean, do you guys.
Matt Jones
I don't know. I feel like last night after I heard it, I kept going. I pumped.
Mario
Okay.
Matt Jones
I shop.
Drew Franklin
Dude, it's awful when you see the video that even just even enforces the fact that it's awful.
Matt Jones
See, I'm giving it a good solid B plus. I like it, Max.
Max
I actually think it's kind of catchy too. Like, I was kind of bobbing into it a little bit. I like it.
Shannon The Dude
I like the song. I give the song a B plus. But the video takes it up to a solid A for me. Oh, the video's awesome.
Drew Franklin
Videos bad.
Shannon The Dude
The lights are turned off in Clark.
Matt Jones
Yeah, he's pumping and shopping. He uses the app.
Shannon The Dude
Andrew Carr has like 10 bags of chips at the counter because he's just balling.
Mario
It sounds as good as any other rap song that I've heard on the radio in the last 20 years. The bar's not that high.
Matt Jones
You're the official grade.
Mario
I'll give it a B. It's good. It's not great. It's good.
Matt Jones
You uses the app and he pumps it up.
Shannon The Dude
That is how Nil was supposed to be. Not. Here's your collective buyout.
Matt Jones
Make a rap video for us.
Mario
And it helps that it's, you know about a company that we endorse.
Matt Jones
That's right. Who's up next, Rick?
Drew Franklin
Kentucky Joe is next.
Mario
Oh, speaking of singers.
Matt Jones
Kentucky Joe, go ahead.
Kentucky Joe
Yeah, it's a Kentucky Joe approved rap song.
Matt Jones
Well, that's what they were hoping for.
Kentucky Joe
Yes.
Matt Jones
Well.
Kentucky Joe

This is Doug Godley from All Ball with Doug Godley. Listen, I'm going to get serious for a minute. The hate in our country is getting out of control. In fact, it's sadly at an all time high. But it's going to take all of us to stop it. I mean, we're all on the same team in this country. So let's take a break from our hate so our team can regroup. We need to take a time out against hate. Look around. You can find cars like these on autotrader, like that car riding your tail. Or if you're tailgating right now, all those cars doubling as kitchens and living rooms are on autotrader too. Are you working out and listening to this ad at the same time? Well, multitasking. Pro cars like the ones in the gym parking lot are for sale on autotrader. New cars, used cars, electric cars, maybe even flying cars. Okay, no flying cars. But as soon as they get invented, they'll be on autotrader.

Just you wait.

Autotrader. Imagine relying on a dozen different software programs to run your business, none of which are connected, and each one more expensive and more complicated than the last. It can be pretty stressful. Now imagine Odoo. Odoo has all the programs you'll ever need, and they're all connected on one platform. Doesn't Odoo sound amazing?

Hosted by Matt Jones and the KSR crew from iHeartPodcasts and Sports Talk 790 (WKRD-AM), this episode of "KSR" brings listeners a lively mix of sports commentary, on-the-road adventures, humorous banter, and engaging discussions about University of Kentucky (UK) athletics. Broadcasting live from Kearney, Nebraska, the crew delves into upcoming games, team dynamics, and interacts with callers, all while maintaining a light-hearted and entertaining atmosphere.
Matt Jones kicks off the episode by introducing the crew's current location: Candlewood Suites in Kearney, Nebraska. The team expresses excitement about being on the road and appreciates the hospitality they’ve received.
Matt Jones [03:13]: “This is Kentucky Sports Radio here live from cold Kearney, Nebraska, right off the side of the interstate at the Candlewood Suites where the people are so nice to let us be here. Thank you very much.”
The hosts engage in playful conversations about the local environment, particularly poking fun at the town's odor, comparing it humorously to horse manure. This segment showcases the camaraderie and light-hearted nature of the crew.
Matt Jones [05:09]: “It does smell like horse poop. The whole town. And I don't say. Am I right?”
Mario [05:17]: “Like you're saying it, though. You're saying, Kearney, Nebraska smells like crap. That's what you just said.”
A fun fact is introduced by Drew Franklin about Kearney being the exact center of the United States between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The crew humorously debates the validity of this claim, highlighting the challenges of verifying such information on the spot.
Drew Franklin [07:19]: “Kearney, Nebraska is the exact center of the United States between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.”
Shannon The Dude [08:14]: “I don't believe any of it. Even if it were true, I'm not that impressed.”
A significant portion of the episode centers around the anticipation of the Kentucky vs. Clemson game. The hosts discuss Kentucky's recent performance, coach Vince's strategies, and the fanbase's expectations.
Matt Jones [16:53]: “A lot of good messages coming in on the text machine. One person writes, Matt, if Ryan, if they say he's not a candidate for CPAP, maybe he should have his tonsils taken out. That helps some people. Have you thought about that?”
Shannon The Dude [25:41]: “He said that they're going to do such a bigger look into the character of the human that they're bringing in. I think that's going to make a world of difference.”
The crew humorously tackles the topic of snoring and sleep apnea, using personal anecdotes and playful teasing to discuss the challenges of staying awake around a snoring teammate.
Mario [12:13]: “You are my sleep apnea president. Dibs on a seat.”
Matt Jones [15:19]: “I refused to believe you're not a candidate. I can't imagine who would be a candidate besides you. Like, for instance, last night, I was in the same room as Shannon. He started a little bit and I noticed I did my...”
Matt Jones reflects on a recent interview with Coach Vince, addressing listener feedback and critiques regarding the depth and engagement of the conversation.
Matt Jones [22:39]: “Maybe it's just because there was a lot going on. I mean, I don't know. But it did not. You know, Drew, it just wasn't the rah-rah Vince that we are used to.”
Shannon The Dude [23:34]: “He kind of didn't really want to get into the Louisville thing, which was the main story and kind of the reason he had gotten on the air.”
In a light-hearted interlude, the hosts critique a promotional rap song created by Lamont Butler for Clark's Pumping Shop. The segment blends humor with musical commentary, as the crew rates the song and its accompanying video.
Matt Jones [50:15]: “Let's play I Pump and I Shop by Lamont Butler. I'm rolling on empty Holly if you feel me...”
Shannon The Dude [51:35]: “I like the song. I give the song a B plus. But the video takes it up to a solid A for me.”
Towards the end of the episode, Matt Jones promotes Jennifer L. Armentrout's first book in the Flesh and Fire series, "A Shadow in the Ember," highlighting its availability across various formats.
Matt Jones [46:04]: “Number one. New York Times best selling author Jennifer L. Armentrout brings you the first book in her Flesh and Fire series, A Shadow in the Ember...”
Notable Quotes:
Shannon The Dude [29:24]: “The good news is for Mark Pope is he could have just recorded that segment just then and played it to the team and there's your breakdown done.”
Matt Jones [33:41]: “I was thinking about some of that. When I say, are you going to go to Louisville? First of all, when I say, you know, are you planning on being back? Yes. What about the rumor about Louisville? And he goes, I don't want to comment on that.”
Matt Jones [39:05]: “This is Kentucky Sports Radio. A lot of good messages coming in on the text machine. 772-774-5254.”
