Far as I know. Haven't checked the the latest updates in the last 30 minutes or so.

Everybody that was supposed to sign has signed and they got one flip by the way. They got a Cameron Miller, Cam Miller, a top 25 athlete. That's a position where they rank where you can play lots of different positions. He's a top 25 athlete, he flipped this morning from Wisconsin to Kentucky. So they end up only losing Josh Katis's brother and the running back, which was a big loss with the running back. They're going to end up somewhere between 25 and 30. Likely drew with the football class today, absent a surprise later in the morning.

[Ryan Lemond]

Yeah, Davis was a huge loss. That was bad news. He was one of the highest prospects they've ever had. He's going to Missouri instead. I'm sure these kids are going to be great, but I'm really interested in what they're going to do in the portal because they need immediate help. I don't know if any of these guys are going to be able to help them out right away.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, there's like two guys, there's a.

[Ryan Lemond]

Lot of things to fix.

[Matt Jones]

I think there's two guys that they see coming in and playing minutes. But I mean I think a lot they're going to rely, Max, on guys from last year. But we'll get to all that. But the biggest story of the basketball game last night, we were, we went to bed, I guess about 2:15 Eastern Time last night after doing the post game show. Kentucky loses Clemson floor stormed. We talked a lot about the game and the details last night. So we'll just do a little bit and let you take your calls. 859-280-2287 after you've slept on it. Ryan, does the loss last night stick with you or do you think, hey, we're going to move forward?

[Doug Gottlieb]

Yeah, like kind of like I said last night, it really doesn't disappoint me they lost. I kind of thought they might even lose that game going into the game last night. So it doesn't disappoint. We're all, I think we're just disappointed with the way the offense kind of seemed to just not look very good.

[Matt Jones]

And Max, I did the emotional hedge of betting last night. I bet Seattle cracking over my Carolina.

[Shannon The Dude]

Hurricanes, which I hate.

[Matt Jones]

I bet Arkansas when they were down in the nine in the second half to win, which they did. And then I bet Clemson in part right before the game. I didn't want to win any of them. I ended up winning all three and I, I bet the Clemson one in part because I just kind of felt like a game was going to come where the sort of lack of ability to execute down the stretch would come into play. And with everything else that happened, they were still down two with the ball at the end and had a shot, had three open looks at three Missed them all and you end up getting lost.

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah, I think if it was a one off game, we'd probably be a bit angry at Mark Pope for the rotations. I think he maybe we found out some stuff about our lineup last night, how many guys can play and we'll find out even more against Gonzaga. But I think, you know, Butler getting into foul trouble definitely hurt us because we struggle to score when he's off the court.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, that's the biggest takeaway for me. I mean, I think if you go back and you look at this game at the end of the season, the biggest takeaway will be without Lamont, Butler, Shannon, this team, it's a different team.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah. And he did that with the tweaked ankle too. So you got to factor in he had that.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, but I. We lost him. Yeah, we lost him in the first half. Pope says he's expressed regret. He said, I love this line, which I haven't heard a coach say. I'm sure somebody else has said it. You don't want to coach your way into a guy fouling out. Basically meaning you coach him out by not letting him play. In the first half, we went from up five to down seven at halftime. I think primarily because he went to the bench.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah.

[Matt Jones]

When he got hurt, we came back, took the lead. I think we were up two. In the second half, he gets hurt and it changes again.

[Drew Franklin]

He was everything for the team last night. And you saw what happens when a team comes in and slows Kentucky down, kind of disrupts their offense. And that's what you. You had last night. You know, a lot of questionable shots. I think Amare, we talked about last night on the post game show just dribbled too much.

[Matt Jones]

What are we going to do about the Amare?

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah, I mean, I got it set.

[Doug Gottlieb]

Up where he initiates the offense. Man, that's just. I just don't think that's the best idea. You want him.

[Matt Jones]

I mean, that's a key part of what Mark does. I think in a perfect world, Mark would have drew About a 2 inch taller. Hey, come on in, guys. About a 2 inch taller. Amare, like a 2 inch tall. Andrew Carr as his center would be what he'd like a center who can shoot threes and also initiate the offense. He doesn't have that. So because of that, you end up with two guys who are very athletic. I think Kamar is a great defender, but leave something to be desired when he gets the ball there at the top of the key.

[Ryan Lemond]

Mar is very helpful on the glass. He's a great defender. He can even make a great pass when he's just stationary at the top. I don't know if he grew up watching and one mixtapes like some, some people, but he seems to think that he's a guard at times and wants to do a little too much off the dribble when it seems unnecessary.

[Matt Jones]

Mario, you DM the players. I saw Kobe bray. I was like, what up, Mario? And you know, you're Mario's at the age. Like he's, he's, you know, I think you were at the Lamont Butler rap shoot.

[Ryan Lemond]

Um, did you pump and shop?

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, I think you pumped the shopped and you used the app. I think you did all of them. Is that. Can you, can you tell Amari not to dribble? Is that. You're not going to tell him that?

[Drew Franklin]

Okay, how about one dribble and a shot?

[Matt Jones]

No, I'm doing one dribble. It's all about where he gets the ball. Yeah. I mean, he scored 6, 6 points at the end because he gets the ball right under the basket. He has decent little touch. When he gets it right next to basket, it's when he tries to go off the dribble, it's over.

[Doug Gottlieb]

He's effective down low. Get him on the block and just put him down there. But when he starts spinning and trying to work his way down, though, we're all just screaming, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Biggest takeaway.

[Ryan Lemond]

He takes away so much of his good with. I forgot what he had last night. But when he's having four and five turnovers a game, he leads the team.

[Matt Jones]

In turnover, second in the SEC in turnovers, second in the SEC in turnovers. And Chaz Lanier, whose first had 11 in one game. So the plus, to me, that's a static game.

[Doug Gottlieb]

That's a huge stat.

[Matt Jones]

With Butler M, we're plus 17. With crease in, we were minus 21. With Amare in, we were plus 16. With Garrison M, we were minus 20. That's the sound of the game, right?

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah. And Chris is going to have his moments where he can contribute. I think he's going to be that guy we can bring in for some energy, some defense, maybe a couple of fluky threes. Like he's shown the ability to be able to hit some threes at times. But he's obviously, again, like I said, I think if Pope, if this was a one off, like tournament game, we'd be like, why did he play so much? Like, let's play Him a little less and use him in moments.

[Drew Franklin]

Biggest takeaway for me that doesn't have to do with stats, is you got to play with more physicality. And you know that teams in the sec, every team is going to play Kentucky that way.

[Matt Jones]

And we're still everybody's super bowl, even without cow. I mean, look, they won, we lost. There's. I mean, we can't. But. But there was no one at their game at Miami, and they stormed the corridor game at Kentucky, it was packed. Packed. And we were wondering about the crowd. I mean, even Pope used the phrase. So. 859-280-2287. Let's talk about our situation here in Windsor. Got seven people who came by this morning. Thank you all very much. Appreciate it. So we are in this house now. We don't know this happens sometimes. These Airbnbs, the people who let us use the house don't necessarily know that we're using it for an active radio show.

And they do have a ring, doorbell, camera.

Yeah. They are going to see. Do you think they think this is gonna. This is like, are they partying over there or what?

[Ryan Lemond]

It is eight in the morning. I was talking to Max about this. You know, they probably see everyone rolling in, but they gotta be thinking, what could be going on.

Three hours show up here.

[Matt Jones]

In a few minutes, I think we're gonna know that. They're gonna be like, what. What is going on right now?

[Ryan Lemond]

I've never been at an Airbnb that's so particular about things. There's notes about which towel to dry your hands with.

[Matt Jones]

Technically, we're up to eight. All right. Yeah.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah. Now, we all were supposed to take our sh. That hasn't totally happened.

I'm off. But. Well, I'm not. And I don't think our guests are, so. But that's okay. You know what? That's okay.

How is your Airbnb rating?

[Matt Jones]

Pretty good. I used it quite a bit in Europe. Kind of bumped it up on our last road trip. I got some 5.0s. People thought what we did was unique.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah.

[Matt Jones]

One person did not like the whole radio show thing.

[Drew Franklin]

I can understand.

[Matt Jones]

I think it was. Remember, I think it was in Cheyenne, we did a radio show. They said we left breakfast everywhere.

[Ryan Lemond]

You're welcome.

They were. They weren't as thrilled. I think I got a three from them. But I think for the most part, with Europe and some of our other trips, it's been okay.

[Doug Gottlieb]

So we've had a couple stops where the cleaning crew shows up before our show is over. Do we know what time?

[Matt Jones]

Well, this is mountain time, so I'm going to assume we'll, you know, it's when we finish. It'll be 10 checkouts at 11, so I feel like we should be. We should be okay.

[Ryan Lemond]

I'm packed up. I'm bathed, ready to go. I could leave whenever y'all are ready. Get out of here before they find us.

[Drew Franklin]

I had a nice sleep last night on my boat. It's the first time since I was about 12 years old that I slept in a bunk bed.

[Ryan Lemond]

You too?

[Matt Jones]

Drew and Shannon got a bunk bed. How was that?

[Ryan Lemond]

It's a bunk bed.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah. How'd you sleep, room mate? You were about 18 inches above me. I could hear you crack every time that you moved. So the bed was just creaking like it was going to fall on top of it.

[Ryan Lemond]

Get a little rhythm there going. When I was a kid, I had a bunk bed. I think that's the first time I've been in a bunk bed since I was a child. Not going to say it was the best sleep I've ever gotten. Kind of 30 minutes here. 30 minutes.

[Matt Jones]

Like Opie said on the Andy Griffith show, it's adventure sleeping.

[Ryan Lemond]

Kinda. You know, the ceilings just, like, right in your face. I think I was a little worried I was gonna pop up and knock myself out. Well, tonight, I'm here every day. I'm blessed to wake up here tonight.

[Matt Jones]

Assuming we get approved at our next place, which may not happen, depending on the rating. Tonight. We have five bedrooms, one share max. This is your sleep with Ryan. Snoring night.

[Shannon The Dude]

Perfect. Looking forward to it. Did lots of preparation just listening to chainsaw. I actually returned, like, four chainsaws on at night every time I go to sleep for the last coup couple months just to be ready.

[Drew Franklin]

So you're going from the couch to. With Ryan. Like, what's that?

[Matt Jones]

The next night, though, he'll get a good one.

[Shannon The Dude]

I like that we've got five bedrooms and someone still has to share with Ryan. Just put him in one of them.

[Matt Jones]

Well, maybe we'll. Yeah.

[Ryan Lemond]

You know, Ryan keeps snoring himself into the best sleeping.

[Matt Jones]

That's exactly part of why I'm doing it. I don't want to reward him for his defense.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah, I'll start snoring if I get my own room.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, because he's gotten his own room a lot, and I. I thought Last night. That's not really fair. He's such a snorer. He gets his own room.

[Doug Gottlieb]

I think I got the biggest bed and I had my own bathroom in my bed.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, don't. Don't expect that to happen again. Let's go back for a second. Did it bother you at all that Brea didn't play at all down the streets? Didn't play the last 10 minutes?

[Doug Gottlieb]

Yeah. I gotta wonder why he was not out there when they were kind of needing a bucket and they were struggling shooting all night long, you know, could not hit the three last night and he was sitting on there on the bench. I don't understand that.

[Matt Jones]

When you look at the SEC being 9 and 0, except for us last night, 9 and 1, we were the one. We're going to have a lot of games this year. At least nine exactly like that one last night where we go on the road a couple times, we're going to be playing really good teams when we go to Tennessee and when we go to. What do we go to? Alabama. I think we go to Alabama. Yeah, they come here. So we play Tennessee and Alabama, both places. So we're going to have two times where you go to a really good team, but the other seven times we're going to be going to teams that in theory were better than going to their place. Are you worried we'll see a lot of repeats of what we saw last night as the year goes on?

[Ryan Lemond]

A little bit. I'm not like, overly worried, but they're going to have to get better at handling physicality because teams have. I think Western was the first one to expose them. And Mark Pope even said after that game, like, I know this wasn't fun to watch, but we needed this because there's going to be a lot of this coming forward. I think teams know to kind of bully UK and get them out of their motion offense a little bit. And, you know, certain players. Jackson was pretty good last night, but in the other games where they got physical, he kind of shied away from the contact. I just hope they'll get better as the year goes on because it's not. The physicality is not going anywhere.

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah. My question would be with Breyer is, you know, who do you want to put on the bench then? Because it's obviously Butler, Robinson, Oway, Carr and Williams. And it's like Robinson played better last night. So if you. If you want to go small, that's fine, but.

[Matt Jones]

Good question. I think when you go offensively at the end, you take out Williams and you bring in Bray and you go small. But the problem was, to be fair, for Pope, the problem was when Car. This was the first game when Car played the five where we got punished for it on the glass. When Car played the five, we got destroyed on the glass in early in the second half and in the first half. So that probably was why he was hesitant to do it.

[Doug Gottlieb]

Yeah, he got pushed around down there when they tried to go small and he our bit. All three of our bigs did not play well. Garrison, Williams, and Car, all three of them struggling last night.

[Ryan Lemond]

Yeah, I wasn't as upset about the rotations. It's just you had open looks. You missed them. I mean, they're banking in threes. It was just a matter of free throws.

[Matt Jones]

We lead the country in teams bank in threes against us.

[Ryan Lemond]

I mean, that was great defense, and that dude threw a lot.

[Matt Jones]

That was a big possession. That was a big. We were up one. I thought we played that. That might have been our best defensive possession. You're right. He line drives a 3 in to put him up, too. I thought that was a big possession in the game.

[Ryan Lemond]

Sometimes things like that just happen. And away had three great looks. If any of those go in, maybe it's a different story.

[Doug Gottlieb]

We said last night, if all the guys. You want to take that shot, he'll be one of my sons.

[Matt Jones]

Welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio here in Windsor, Colorado. I do want to say a word about last night. How about, what was it? 40 to 50 people showing up at a random bar that Mario picked to watch the game last night.

[Doug Gottlieb]

And we didn't even unveil where we were going until late in the afternoon. And those people show up. That was awesome. That was really a lot of fun.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, bring that away from your mouth. Yeah, it sounds like you're eating the microphone. Okay, that's.

[Shannon The Dude]

Mario called them too and gave them a warning and they kind of laughed him off, like.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah. Mario was like, we may have some people there tonight. And they didn't act. They're like, whatever. And then all of a sudden they had two servers for 45. Yeah.

[Drew Franklin]

When we walked in, there weren't that many people in. And then all of a sudden the entire section was Kentucky fans. They should thank Mario for business.

[Matt Jones]

They should have. I will tell you, they charged you because I paid for it. So I know they didn't give it to give it.

[Doug Gottlieb]

A lot of fun, though. That big crowd there watching the game with us last night.

[Ryan Lemond]

I like, there was a woman that was UK graduate that didn't know UK fans were gonna walk.

[Matt Jones]

That was a really good one. There's just a woman there who didn't know. She was like, why are all these UK fans here? She just lived here. And I said, have you heard of Kentucky Sports Radio? And she goes, no. And I said, well, yada, yada, look us up. And she said, yeah, I don't listen to radio. I was like, well, okay. I mean, I didn't know what the answer to that.

[Ryan Lemond]

It'd be weird, though. You're out watching your team and stayed far away. Then 40 people roll in doing the catch.

[Matt Jones]

Chance.

That was a nice surprise for them.

The away chant got going.

No way chant. I got it going. I wish it would get going in Lexington.

Yeah, let's do one. Let's do one. Let's see. One person writes. Matt, I am worried about games like this. I think that we could lose a lot of games like this. It doesn't seem to be our forte. I agree. But we also, I mean, look at the best teams in the sec. Okay, so Alabama plays like us. Auburn plays kind of like us a little slower. Tennessee will get. This is like Clemson's the worst. Tennessee right now. Tennessee will play us when we play. So this will be a good test for them. Ole Miss will play us like that. That's a road game. They beat Louisville last night by 25 points. To be honest with you. This is how Cal's going to play us. Right? This is exactly what Cal's going to do to us when we play Arkansas. So I mean this will be now we're going to go play Gonzaga, who's going to play us like Duke plays. It's going to be a lot more up and down. It won't be like this. So. But this is. We're going to see games like this and in the tournament we would definitely see games like this.

[Ryan Lemond]

Yeah. And it's a little concerning right now. And I'm not trying to justify the loss or do any moral victories, but if you just make a few more shots. That was a pretty horrible shooting performance from three free throw was embarrassing.

[Matt Jones]

That's three straight games like that.

You worried about that? Get you good shot? 27% from three in the last three games.

I mean that should make you worry. But we've seen how good they can be, so I guess I'm not long term worried.

No, I think, I think they need to keep shooting, shoot more. I mean we talked about before the season started. Pope won it 35 to 43 point attempts. They're shooting 25, 26, 27. So I think just keep shooting. The numbers are going to average out. We've got good shooters. You know, it's just a matter of you got to take those, keep taking those shots until they fall.

Kerr wouldn't even come a close last night. I think he was over four.

So do we have it, do we have a car problem? You guys? Especially you two. You troublemakers over here. You, you love, you love Kerr.

There's a significant gap between he and Butler right now. That's, that's clear. Last night, I mean, I don't know what Kerr did. Well, they were taking him off the dribble. His threes were. Felt like they were Just clanging off the rim never stood a chance. Yeah.

I think if we can find maybe five minutes out of Robinson or someone else to run the point rather than him when Butler has to take a break or even. And then the other problem is when Williams comes off the court, too, you don't really have that good center to replace him.

But I'd like to see Robinson probably as the backup point guard. I'm not saying you don't play Kerr, but I do think Kerr. I mean, Kerr played more minutes last night than Butler. Can't do that.

Well, out of necessity, because you said he got in foul trouble, but it.

Yeah. But again. All right, so. So we didn't shoot well last night. You could argue we haven't shot well before. But before that. Butler shoots well. Bray Robinson shoots pretty well. Always shoots pretty well.

I think they're also our three best defenders. It might. I mean, those are our three best players. Carr, I think, is in that group, but he can't defend. He's not a good defender.

So he had a few good plays, a good block here and there, but he is. He is a weakness.

I will say this. I noticed this last night. We played decidedly below the rim.

Outside of outside, if you think about it, we don't have a lot of leapers. Right. Butler's not really a leaper. Always. Always pretty athletic. Robinson's not a leaper. Car's not a leaper. Our bigs are pretty athletic, but Bray is not a leaper. Kerr's not a leap. Like, we play distinctly below the rim.

Even William Shot plays Below the rim, it like barely gets over the front of the rim to go in.

Yeah. So, sir, I think that is an issue.

That's a great point. We can't get outworked. And I think part of what was frustrating to people last night, Max, is there was a dude who looks like Shannon.

Well, you know, Max told us there's a place here that serves authentic Australian food, but we decided last night to go to Vail, which adds two extra hours to our trip. What does Going to Vail rather than to where, Laramie, Wyoming or somewhere?

Yeah. So we've already added two hours to our trip. And if we go to the Walton Kangaroo, that's going to add another hour to our trip, probably. So I have to kind of juggle that one guy or the five of us.

I mean, if we beat Gonzaga, Gonzaga may be one of the best teams in the country. So if we beat Gonzaga is a big if. Now, I think we're going to be fine even if we lose to Gonzaga. But if you're going to throw in the. If we beat Gonzaga, they're a lot better than the team we just played.

Yeah, Gonzaga is better than Clemson. I think what's alarming to all of us is the kind of Clemson exposed Kentucky that we're going to, you know, get physical with them or on nights they can't shoot, where's the offense going to come from? You know, if you have another night where you're not shooting the ball well, where your points going to come from?

[Matt Jones]

One person writes, Matt, are you, are you worried that we're shooting the ball so poorly. We've seen him make it, so I can't get too worried about it.

[Drew Franklin]

We'll all average out in the end.

You know, we may not be like a 45% shoot.

Our guys didn't forget how to shoot overnight.

A couple of observations going back to the Williams comments earlier in the show. I. I don't. I'm not quite ready to make him a scapegoat. I agree with the fact that he's dribbling too much in the paint and that sort of thing, but there's an issue with some of our guys, you know, getting open off of some of those motions on the wing and that sort of thing. And that kind of leaves Williams out there by himself, standing at the top of the key trying to handle the basketball, waiting on somebody to get open and. And we've got to get more physical on our cuts and we've got to use our screens better and. And make some quicker reads in order for us to have a little more flow offensively. Second observation.

[Matt Jones]

Totally agree with that. Totally agree with that. I totally agree with that. But if we're not able to get those guys open, it can't be him that's left with the ball at the end. Like, if we. If we have a problem getting our guys off those curls and the rip screens, then we're just going to have to have somebody else on the top of the key because he cannot be the guy backing people in to start our offense. That's maybe the worst offense you could have.

Understandable. And that, you know, now that we've had that experience, I'm sure coach will.

[Matt Jones]

Make for a few games. I mean, he had a bunch of turnovers the other night against Western, too.

He did. He certainly did. Second observation. Kobe Braya. Some. Some comments were made previously about him not being in the last 10 minutes or so or only briefly. You know, he. He has a hard time with the physicality as well.

[Matt Jones]

He does.

He's got to move more. He's got to move more without the basketball. He's got to use screens better. He's got to make more decisive cuts, you know, that sort of thing, in my opinion. And hopefully that'll get him ready to shoot the ball on the catch instead of, you know, not having his feet square when he receives it or being just a tad bit out of rhythm and out of time.

[Matt Jones]

And I'll all that's true. All that's true. All that's true. But. But that. But thank you and I appreciate the call, but you can't just, you can't just keep going to the well of something that's not working. And it wasn't working like. So, I mean, Mark will make adjustments. Mark said at the end, I wish I maybe made some different lineup things. And we'll see if he changes that Saturday against Gonzaga.

[Doug Gottlieb]

You know, you said this on the post game show the first time we've seen a glowing drop off when the bench came in from the starters last year.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, I mean, it's a huge drop off.

[Shannon The Dude]

Here's the thing with Williams too, though, that. And we don't want to keep harping on it, but if he, if he goes down the block where we think he's at his best offensively, then he takes away all that spacing. So it's like, what do you, what do you want to do? You want him up the top and then he's going to have to dribble sometimes or do you want him down the block and then we lose all the space?

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, well, this gets to the whole like two bigs thing, which is. It's hard with Andrew Carr, who I actually think does pretty well down low because then he gets forced out top, which is fine when he's just shooting threes, but he's trying to beat people off the dribble. That can also be a problem. So. But when they're hitting shots, true. If we shot threes better, I don't think any of this would have been an issue.

[Ryan Lemond]

Maybe a few free throws here and there. Maybe you got a bank in a fastball car. I could be wrong on this because we still haven't seen a lot of it, but I feel like he turns down some open threes and what we saw in, like some of the preseason things, he seemed like a good shooter. There are a couple times last night I wish he had just taken a three pointer when he had it.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah.

[Drew Franklin]

Playing a little too timid. I mean, going back to Kobe, Brayer, the caller mentioned there, I mean, he's a guy that I want taking eight to 10 shots a game. He had three last night. You got to figure out a way to get him open.

[Matt Jones]

I agree. Are you all happy or Sad that the SEC went 9 and 1? I mean, on the one hand, that's good for the conference. SEC has clearly passed the ACC in basketball. On the other hand, we were the ones.

[Doug Gottlieb]

Yeah, I don't like that nine and.

One sounds great until you're the one.

Yeah, it's not a great stat, but after someone said it last night, I didn't think about it again. And I probably won't think about it again from here. I mean, it's. It's a silly note, but it doesn't really affect how. What I think of Kentucky.

I don't understand that. That's probably the worst idea. They didn't think that one through at all.

Yeah, that seemed pretty dumb. I mean, it's already a dangerous situation, as we've seen many times, we've seen firsthand in Indiana. And then you're gonna be like, oh, it's. Let's make it even better. Let's have them storm the court in the dark. It looks like Kentucky players kind of got jammed in it for a minute, but they got out of there quick. Are you probably scary?

Are you pro or con? Objectively, now that the game's over, are you pro or con? The guy who went 4 for 20 with 20 rebounds, that looks like Max.

I like them as long as we're not playing them.

Just because he's a big goofy looking guy and like he can't shoot the ball, but Somehow he gets 20 rebounds.

I don't know how he's good.

Like, he doesn't seem like a guy that should be playing Division 1 basketball normally.

[Matt Jones]

A dude that's like that, that's built like that, that looks like that, if he's good at basketball. The reason is he's a really good shooter. He can shoot, but he can't shoot. So why is he good? Like what?

[Drew Franklin]

He plays physical. He. He rebounds.

[Matt Jones]

I agree.

[Drew Franklin]

I mean, there's no way a guy.

[Matt Jones]

Like that, who goes 4 for 20 from the field, drew. Should have 20 rebounds and dominate the game. There's no I. It's absurd that it happened. And by the way, he did the same thing in the tournament last year. I remember watching him in the tournament. I'm like, this guy's not good, but he's controlling the game.

[Ryan Lemond]

He averages like 12 rebounds for them. That wasn't a one off thing last night. If you'd show me a picture of that guy before the game and I didn't know anything about him and you said this dude's getting 20 rebounds in a game of that magnitude, I wouldn't have believed you. Like, that's an Oscar. Oscar night. And that dude looks nothing like Oscar. I guess he just. He's one of those guys that can find it coming off the rim and he's in the right spot and manages to bring it down a few times. He would just run and jump into everyone and not get called for no foul. But overall, I mean, you got to credit the guy. 20 rebounds is 20 rebounds.

He may be an example, Ryan, of if you just hustle a lot more than everybody else, you can make it work.

[Doug Gottlieb]

If he was on our team, we would all love the guy because I.

Would tell him to shoot less.
