I'm you did with the college kids. I want you to do it with UK fans tonight, the game. Okay. All right. Same set of people but like take widely different ages. You see what I'm saying? Take widely different ages and let's see what it comes up with at the game. We'll also see how many people listen to this show because if they listen to this show, they should be able to get it know who they are. So yeah. So probably if you get people who, if you do the video, if somebody's listening to the show will know. But there'll be a lot of people at the game who don't listen to show and I'd like to see what the different because here's what's my prediction is going to happen at the, at the game, Gilchrist will have at least some people who know him. Oh yeah. Although not everyone, not everybody will. I think more people will know Bashir at the game because they're older. Fewer people will know Portnoy. Correct. Everybody's going to know Pope, obviously, and almost everybody will know Patino. There might be a younger fan you meet who doesn't know Patino, but I think the Portnoy Bashir Gilchrist stuff will flip. Flip will flip because like my mom wouldn't know who, who Portnoy is. I was just saying do Alex Cooper, you, you two wouldn't know who that. I don't know who that is. But you do. Of course I do. Every woman though under 30 would know. Every woman under 30 would know Alex Cooper. But you two have no idea who that is. The old guy and the young guy. We don't know who she is. That's like the female Portnoy. Oh, okay, right. Barstool. She worked. She used to. Now she does her own thing. Okay, but 859-280-2287. I want to get back to phones. We got a lot of people on Ryan. You have a lot of support on the baby thing. I mean, it's still more people saying you're wrong than right. But you probably have 40% of the people that agree with you. There's. There are people though saying Ryan's wrong, we shouldn't, we should ban babies. But he's right that taking a baby to a game is a miserable experience. Agreed. And if we're going to do it, I think the lap seat, the lap ticket is the way to go. It is. Yeah. Apparently a lot of the Reds rule is three has to buy their own ticket. For the Reds. They're just trying to get people there. Maybe. Although I think we're going to win the division this year. I liked Ryan said absolutely not to 2 year olds, but he took 3 year olds, so we know his line right at the two and a half. Why are you laughing, Shannon? We're good. We're good. We got Terry Francona now third place. Ellie. Matt Mcclain's healthy. We got a great rotation. We got like seven, eight starting pitchers. I'm going to be watching spring training games this year. Ellie said at the end of the year I want to be the best player in baseball. And so like Ellie, Ellie's. Listen, you're going to hear me talk a lot about Ellie. So y'all just need to get rid of. Unless Ellie gets 10 at bats every game, it's not going to matter. Now watch him get hurt in spring training. But this could be my. This is going to be my summer of Ellie. Well, I like McClain. I thought, I thought he's good, but he was out all that. I know. I thought coming up, he was going to be the next superstar. We got to talk about Kansas real quick and Bill Self. Kansas lost by 34 points last night to BYU on the road. 34 points. It's the third largest loss in the history of Kansas basketball and the loss. Largest loss since like 1970 when the game was over. Remember now, remember, don't forget that Bill Self last year said the team basically quit at the end of the year because they knew they couldn't make the NCAA or win the NCAA tournament. Remember that? Yeah. He basically said, we were just over. He's asked about the team and he was like, yeah, we're just not very good. And then he said, I thought this trip would make us bond, but now we need to get all away from each other. That's not what you want to hear from your head coaching knowledge. With six games left in the regular season that his team hates each other. He was like, we need to get away from each other for a few days. Now they play on Saturday, so I don't know how much away they can get. But how about that after a year. And then look, he won a title two years ago, so it's not like he's, you know, a disaster. But he basically says, like after last year, saying we stopped being caring because we knew we couldn't win a title. Now he says, we got to get away from each other. We don't even like each other. Yeah, they're a mess. And part of that has been as Kentucky's been losing lately. Like the other night when we lost to Texas, you flip over and Kansas is just getting destroyed by Utah, who's got a guy with hair down to his back just schooling everybody. Also, it kind of, you know, we wanted Hunter Dickinson pretty bad. The Hunter Dickinson experience has not gone well for two years. He is a. He is as much an example of a guy you cannot win with as any player in America. Like, he. He's good, but you can't win with it. Right. You just can't. He's. He makes your team worse. Which is crazy if you think about it, because he's so good, but doesn't matter. You think, yeah, he'd be a great addition to your team. But it seems like it has been the other way. It's been an a deterrent on the team. Yeah. I mean, they've gotten significantly worse since he transferred there. They still play two top 10 teams and another top 20 team in the year. They can have like 13 regular season losses. They're going to make the tournament, but close. But I'll tell you who might not make the tournament. Yukon. Yeah. There's a world they might miss the tournament. There's a world Gonzaga might miss the tournament. Wow. They still play some good teams. A team that we has is one of our signature wins. Yeah. So some powers not necessarily showing up this year. Hurley's lucky they won last night. That could have been two in a row. And up next, they go at St. John's imagine them on a losing streak, going to see Rick this weekend. North Carolina might not you might have a year. I think Kansas makes it, but there is still a world where North Carolina, Kansas, Yukon and Gonzaga are all like not certain to make the tournament, which is crazy. Connecticut just won two straight titles. North Carolina was in the championship game. Kansas just won two years ago. Three years ago. So I mean it's, it's crazy. My mom thought I asked you. Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper. Everybody know him? There's a lot of people, yeah, but we wouldn't know. But there's a lot young people wouldn't know. Young people, maybe not, but my generation definitely does. Who do you think? We've talked about this before and then we'll go to the phones. Who do you think outside of Trump and Obama is the most known person in the United States? Trump And Obama are 1 and 2, I must say by picture. By picture not name. Snoop Dogg. Taylor Swift. I'm gonna say Taylor Swift. Yeah. I think Snoop's up there. Who's the most famous non musician by picture. Because I think a lot of the most famous are going to be musicians. Probably Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift and Snoop are a good one too. Actually. I, I'm sure there are other ones that pop up there. I think there were a time you could say Jordan and a time maybe you could say Tiger Woods. I'd say. I wouldn't say either of them. Now. Is it LeBron? Probably LeBron. It's Steph maybe. Yeah, those two. LeBron and Steph. Patrick Mahomes. All right, what about non singer, non athlete? I'm going sticking entertainment. Going to an actor. Actor or like an influencer type who's like everybody because who's the person? Like I know that person. Oh, man. Oh. Because so generational, like younger generation. They all know Mr. Beast. But people my age may not have any idea who Mr. Beast is. I don't know that I would recognize him just by face. Beast games. Great show. That's a good question. 772-7774. I think just by picture, Trump would be one. I think Obama would be too. But it could be like Taylor Swift. I mean there's young people. There are people out there who. Obama's not been president since 2016. Joe Biden. No. But what he was famous to them would you put is Elon close? Getting close to that a lot. But there's, you know, if you're not, if you don't follow the news, you could not know who he is. No. We'll see. Let's go to Bob in Jamestown Defender. Hello. Bob in Jamestown Defender. Hello. And I think you should put him on soon after. But that's not. Well, we'll see. I didn't ask you to program the show, but go ahead. I think he picked the wrong guy on the 2012 team. I, Michael Gilchrist. I'm the same age as him and I was following the team very well. I don't remember seeing him. Well, who else would I pick? I'm not Davis. Everybody knows Anthony Davis. I mean, who else am I going to pick from that team? There's nobody on that besides a Duron Lamb. There's no way kids would know who Duran. He's more distinguished. I'd say he's more distinguished. Had a better personality, I feel like, than mkg. Better personality. MKG was the. Had the biggest. Do. Do people forget mkg like you say you're his age. He had the biggest personality on the team. His smile, he lit up a room. I mean, he was a dirt in that he was a much bigger star than Duron. I mean, Drew liked Ron cause he had his used mattress. But otherwise, personal reasons, it was mkg. Right. Maybe more distinguished looking. I just think that he just kind of. I mean, Anthony Davis definitely Daron. Had Duron looks, has a look. I think there's a lot of different people that you could pick other than mkg that would get. Not off that team. I mean, not off that. That. I appreciate the call. I mean, of course, Anthony Davis, but he's still playing, so it's. That's not. A lot of people know him because he's on the. Or was on the Lakers, you know, and won a title. That's a little different. Starting to get a little aggravated with fan base. We can't be forgetting Michael Kid Gilchrist. Do kids know who Oprah is? Oprah, because there's a. Anyone 25 and older knows Oprah. Do kids know who Oprah is? Okay. Mario thinks Oprah is a good one. Oprah's a good one because like a lot of people. Yeah, maybe. I think she's definitely probably in our top five. We did this ten years ago. She's number two. There's no doubt. Right? Number one. I think there's a lot of people would know for now, she's still out there. She hasn't been on anything in a long, long time. Yeah. I don't know. Let's go to Bob and James. Go ahead. Go ahead, Bob. Matt. The lake is 15ft below my property. I'm getting scared. Anyway, Monica Lewinsky was on this. In all seriousness, I hope that turns out okay. It's Obviously people are still dealing with it and with this snow, it's a tough situation. I know Monica Winski, remember her? She was on today's show today. She looks fabulous. I mean these, these people in college today, they wouldn't know who she is. But anyway, she's back and she looked better than ever. And how McCoy the sports writer said the Reds are could be contenders. They made some trade. Ellie's back in Goodyear, Arizona. Sunny. They're getting ready to play some. I mean again, this is the thing about going to him. He's just Shannon. He talks about Bonica Lewinsky being hot. Like that's what he does that it doesn't matter what the topic at hand is. He's going to miss her on the Today show. He's just going to say what he's going to say. Where. Let me see. She does look pretty good. Pull it up to your. Pull up to camera if you can see that. Oh, she does look good. Good for her. Yeah, she. I have. I feel bad for her. I mean it like how old was she when that happened? 19, 20. Like the president is interested in you. It shouldn't like ruin the rest of your life. Okay, I'm drawing a blank. What was the lady's name that turned her in? Linda Tripp. Yes. That's it. Good pool. Linda Tripp. Yep. Snitches. Yeah. That she was rude. Yeah. Linda Tripp should not because she didn't like Monica. Told her in confidence. Yeah. Trusted her as a friend. Yeah. Now that I was saying when I was a kid, when I was in college, like nobody cared about politics except that story. Yes. I remember when the star report came out. My whole college printed it out and was reading it because it was pretty salacious stuff. Now it probably wouldn't even. Nobody even care. But back then. That's the president. That was a. Now we would just assume but like back then. Ben, Go ahead. Ben. Hey, I'm just calling. Say Ryan, what the heck, man? You're supposed to be the family guy. You're supposed to take us for us dads. I mean I've got a. I've got a 10 week old baby and my wife and I probably. We're probably planning on going to the game tonight and we're gonna have ticket for our 10 week old. Hang on. Tell. Tell him. Tell him he can't go. Here's my advice. No, no, not advice. You're setting the rules. You are the new mayor. It is okay to go and just be husband and wife. You don't Always have to be mom and dad. Get a babysitter for that kid. You and your wife enjoy the game. It's week, it's school night. They got a neighbor, they got a friend, they got somebody at church. They've got somebody that you can throw two month old, have a date and enjoy just being husband, wife. Yeah. That's why you don't want to take that baby to your baby. Do you watch their 10 week old? No, I'm busy tonight. Do you have a response? Man, everybody, everybody wants to criticize parents and say that their entire life or their world revolves around their baby. But when parents try to live normal lives and take their baby along with them. Look, my 10 week old is probably gonna be a lot less disruptive than a 3 year old. I agree. I agree with that. I agree with that. A ten month. A ten week old is a lot less likely to whine like a little child than a little child is. Yeah. If you can take them on a plane. I appreciate the call. I'm now the family person on this show. Ryan lost it. I lost the lost the title. Who's scoring big in the NBA this season? We'll take a break. Be right back. Welcome back. Techie Sports Radio. Who's this? This is like a baby song, this Lone Star. Lone Star. It's about children, right? It's Mr. Mom. Yeah. Did you not like Lone star in the 90s? Was that not one of your. I like that one song. No news. Is that them? I think that is, yeah. The woman on the bus was really attractive. You know I'm talking about in the video. Yeah. It's been a long time since I've seen that. That's a long time. I don't remember. I might look at it now and think differently. But I just remember. Yeah. I mean, there are just certain women from your childhood, Right. Like, if you remember, like her. The. The. The Aerosmith videos. Right. Alicia Silverstone. And then. What was that? Steven Tyler's daughter, which I always thought that was weird that he put his daughter in the video. Didn't you think that was weird? A little bit. It's a little bit weird when you're like, the. The thing is how hot the woman is, and you make it your daughter in the video. That's strange. How about Pamela? It's strange. Pamela Anderson. Yeah, she was. I was a little young. I was a little young. No, that was 2000. What do you mean, you're too young? No, Baywatch is like, not mid. Early mid-90s. I was like, simp video, though. Oh, I don't remember that. What music video was she in? The Band Lit. Miserable. See, I don't remember that. Okay, Just thinking about videos. The Alicia Silverstone ones was the one from my generation. Don't you think, Drew? Do you remember that? Yeah, I remember that one. Yeah, that was the one. What was the video? Crazy? Yep. I don't know if there was one. I remember we've talked about it before, where the girl had on a red, white, blue bikini. So you can't do it. He can't. He can't keep it subtle. He just can't. You know what I see, Shannon? Like. Like you and I are talking about it kind of above ground. And then he comes in and he's like. He's talking about Little Texas. I know that's what he's talking about. Before the conversation even came up, I knew the. Yep. I didn't go to him, Shannon, because I knew he was going to bring up the Little Texas video. I knew he was, because he does it every time. And I was like, I don't need that. At least he hasn't brought up Janet Jackson yet. Don't get me. Yeah. Before I go to Sean real quick, Drew, NASA. I don't know if you're keeping up with this. Oh, yes. Every day, NASA gives the new percentage chance that an asteroid is going to hit the Earth in 2032. I'm all for NASA, but what I don't understand is it's going up substantially every day. So, like, last week it was like 1.6. I think it's 2.4. A week ago. I've been keeping up with it. 3.1. And they're going to give another update today. And it just keeps going up. And they say 3.1 doesn't sound like a lot, but it's like a 1 in a 33 chance, 3% chance of winning the lottery. I'd take it, wouldn't you? One in a 33% chance that an asteroid hits the Earth. And the asteroid, it's not apparently big enough that it would, like, wipe out humanity, but it would wipe out a city the size of New York. Now they don't know where it's going to hit. They said it would be more likely to hit one of the large cities in Asia, but still, like, let's say it hit a city in Asia with 25 million people. That's obscene death. And it would cause all kinds of other things, including typhoons and hurricanes that would affect the entire world. I feel like this isn't getting enough coverage. 2032 is not that long. Eight years, right. Three percent chance, not huge, but it's gone up 1% since last week. So clearly, like, things are spiraling here. Does it. Does that enter your radar at all? I've been. I've been tracking that. I mean, I'm not looking up at the sky, tracking it, but the percentages, and in most things, you know, 3%, it's like, slim chance. Not gonna sweat that. But an asteroid hitting the earth, 3% is way too high for me. It's only 12% higher or lower than what our chances were to lose at Texas when we were up five and don't. St. Peter's that is even lower than the ashtray. Yeah, but it is lower than St. Peter's don't think it can't happen. I mean, hello, Middlesboro, Kentucky. It happens. Well, that was a crater. But, like, this is so. I mean, this is a huge thing. I heard a guy on TV say, if it's coming, there's very little we can do about it, that we will not have the ability to shoot it down. And as a matter of fact, with our weapons, even if we shot it, we might make it worse because it would split into a lot of pieces and maybe hit even more parts of the world. So we just got to sit there. We're a sitting duck waiting on it to hit. Yeah, maybe that's a little scary. A little bit. I wondered if it, like, narrowly misses us. If we just look up, will we just see it go by? Probably. Can we just step on our porch and be like, whoa, that was close. So, I don't know. Just something to watch. We got eight years. I mean, I don't know. I'm not saying you need to, like, worry about it. Every minute. But, like, I feel like 3%'s a decent. A decent size. They say it's the largest percent chance of something hitting like this in 150 years. Wow. Makes you want to take notice. So especially if the percentage chances keep going up, how does it go up so quick? It's just been a week. 7. What is it, 70, 71% of the world is water. So there's a good chance it's going to go there if it. But that's even worse. That'll cause massive tsunami. Tsunamis and like. Like, if it hits, it will do massive damage. All the shorelines. Wherever it hits. Yeah, yeah. Wherever it hits. Let's go to Sean. What's up, Sean? Hey. I called him to agree with Ryan, but I don't know if you realize you just made your show have a theme. You've tied in Asteroids, Armageddon, the movie, Aerosmith and Liv Tyler all in the last few minutes. The reason I agree with Ryan has nothing to do about the fan experience. It's all about the health of your baby. You're going to talk about taking the kid to a ball game. It's going to be about 13 degrees tonight. Tip off, you're going to have 20,000 people probably down there with God knows what kind of germs. If you got a small child, you just leave them at home because it's healthier for them. I did have a question. You all talked about byu. BYU in Kansas. That kid that didn't come with Mark Pope here, is he doing anything out at byu? Was that Saunders? Is that the kid we were. Saunders? Yeah. I saw him playing last night. I don't know what kind of year he's had. I appreciate the call. I think he's been decent, but I haven't heard, like, him being. Yeah, I mean, I'm not sitting around watching byu. I can BS if you want, but I just caught a little bit of the same record we do, but playing in an easier conference. He scored a lot for him last night, but as far as what he's doing, yeah, I did notice him out there and I think we did want him and he ended up. He ended up there. I just pulled up his stats. He's getting 15 points a game this year. So. We could have used him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we could have used him. That would have been. I mean, we could have used anybody with the injuries we've had. I mean, we. It would have been. I mean, Pope did have 12 scholarship players, but it would have been nice probably if we had one. More. Been nice to have had it. Should have had four point guards, not three. Yeah, that's right. 859280, 2287. We'll be right back. KSR TJ Smith, personal injury attorney. Call TJ. He'll make them pay. Now more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. Welcome back. TY Sports Radio Text Machine. 772-774-5254. One person, right. Matt, I knew the moment you did that that Ryan would bring up the God Bless Texas video. As a matter of fact, if there was someone next to me, I would have bet on it at that moment. He said it so much, I knew that was gonna Janet Jackson was coming out of my mouth next. Yeah, don't know. 859-280-2287. One person writes. Matt, would you dislike Elon less if he saved us from the asteroid? Well, whether he does or not, he'll say he does. Like, the Elon stands are even crazier to me than the Trump stands. Like, the Trump stands at least. Like, it's like, political and people have lost their minds about politics. So I just, I just get that. But the Elon stands. Like, when in human history have people been so obsessed over the richest person in the world? Like, supposed to not like the richest. Let me ask you a question. Go look at history. When has it ever been good to put the richest person in the world in charge of things? Has that ever turned out well? Ever? Can't think of a time. I can't think of a time. Like the idea that America, like, people just worship the richest. Like, I liked when Warren Buffett was the richest person. He didn't do anything. You didn't even barely know what he looked like. Yeah, right. That's what the richest people should depart. You can be the richest, but you also shouldn't be in charge. Those should be two separate things. The richest and the most powerful should be two different people. That's. I'm gonna take that view. So, no, Elon. Elon scares me a lot more than Trump because Trump at least wants to be liked. Elon just seems to just be like, whatever. Plus, I mean, he, like, when was it okay to start wearing a hat in the Oval Office? Oh, was he wearing a hat? Yeah. Like, I love wearing hats. But I didn't like, gotta be respectful. I was always of the view. Like, you took your hat off when you went in. My man had his kid crawling on his head with a hat on. It's like, whoa, things have changed. I Just feel like we've forgotten that every superhero movie has a billionaire that decides they want to control the world, and then we need a superhero to stop them. I feel like we've. We've forgotten most 90s movies about billionaires in charge of the world never works out. I've seen it in a zillion movies. Have you ever heard of a billionaire who's like, you know what? This dude, he cares about us. When has that ever happened? And in a lot of them, they build robots, so. And then we can't fight the robots. I feel like we're walking right into it. Not far from the robots killing. We're walking right into it, guys. What's going to happen is the robots are going to stop the asteroids and then just murder Mario. Oh, no. Which is not nice. And Billy will be taking the picture of it when it happens, and he'll put it right. He'll put it right up. Two things. First, ksr, ksbar trivia mine with me hosting is going to be tomorrow night. I would tell you to call and make reservations, but our phone lines aren't working because of the snow. Hopefully they'll be working by this afternoon. But call and make reservations. Tell your friends you can be a finalist for the final prize. All that. Second, if you're not going to the game tonight, send me the ticket. I gave away 34 tickets for that game the other night in the snow. Was that Tennessee? I think it was, yeah. I've already got a few. Send them to Matt dot jones@kentuckysportsradio.com and I will get them to people who will be there and who will make noise. And also we try to give a lot of them to people who don't get to go. So I think I've already got like six or eight to give away. If you write me and ask me for them, what do you what's going to happen, Drew? You're going to get blocked. You're going to get not get any of them. And you can't be like, hey, just wanted to check and see if they're still like, the answer is always no. There's not going to be any story you can tell me because I can't set that precedent right. So you can't say to me like, oh, my kid is. I mean, I'm sorry. I like you. I'm sure your kids are wonderful person. I'm not setting the precedent that, like. And Ryan doesn't want your kid there anyway. So Ryan's a no. If you write about your kid if you write about your kid, Ryan's gonna be banning your kid from walking in anyway. Get a babysitter. So just. But when I do put out the thing saying, if you want tickets, that's when you ride. And. And we gave a bunch away last time. And I will today if people have them to give. I watched the first episode of the White Lotus. Yes. I can't wait to discuss it with you guys. This isn't really a spoiler alert because nothing huge has happened. Correct. Except there's a body. But there's always a body. Yeah, Right. There's always a body. I think it's really good. There are two things I really like about it. First of all, I love Uncle Baby Billy, and he's in it. He's kind of a jerk, though. He's kind of a jerk in righteousness. Yeah. I mean, he's kind of a jerk. Have you seen Justified? He's kind of a jerk in that. That's what Walton Goggins is. Right. But just having him there is great. I love that his girlfriend, the one woman, came up and said, love your teeth. Yeah, you can't stop staring at her teeth. But they're. They kind of work for her, I think, oddly. And then the fact that there's a couple there from Durham, North Carolina, and they fight over Duke, North Carolina, is kind of awesome. And as someone who went to college or went to law school in Durham, North Carolina, their voices, that is what people sound like there. I see a lot of people complaining about their accents. The accent in North Carolina is different in that part of North Carolina. It's like a different sort of draw. North and South Carolina have a different voice. You know what I mean? Like, it's a different voice. And the families and the kid that plays a kid that went to Duke. That is exactly how they are at Duke. You want to know how obnoxious he is? That is how obnoxious they are at Duke. Preppy boy privilege Duke frat guy to the max. They couldn't have cast it better. And you know who that actor is? Well, you told me. I didn't. Arnold Schwarzenegger's kid. Wow. He's good. He's good at, like. Because he's a jerk on there. So highly recommend episode one. You liked it? I can't wait for the next one to come out. Very good. Let's go to Corey. What's up, Corey? Hey, Matt. First time, long time. Who are so kind of piggy backing off of you. Said we should bring the walk on to fight Vanderbilt tonight. Let's do it. Punch him right in the face. From. So I grew up in East Kentucky, and Larry Stamper played for Coach Rupp back in the late 60s, early 70s. And he told us a story that he. Coach Repp. We were, oddly enough, playing Vanderbilt, and they had a big boy that was just eating our lunch, right. So coach. Coach Rupp looked at him and said, hey, I want you to go and get him thrown out of the game. So he comes up and gives him a good elbow to the chest, and Larry gets thrown out, and the Vanderbilt boy gets a technical. But to keep the Persona going, Coach Rep had to pretend like he was chewing him out. So he comes over and says, what have I always taught you? He said, I told you to lead with your left, not your right, and fit into the locker room. I like it. Listen, sometimes you gotta get that dude thrown out. I appreciate the call. I don't know how many times that's happened in history. You know, they. We thought they would throw out. Was it Rasheed Wallace when Andre Riddick fought him and they just gave him both technicals. I've always thought Patino got Riddick to get in that fight, so they both would get thrown out because Rasheed Wallace was too good. Yeah. And with the. Larry Stamper was before my time, but that's all. All I know about him is people talk about how he would go in and fight when they needed it. I don't think that's the only situation where he threw a punch. We had that with Lance Ware. Lance Ware was a little bit of that. Can go in and get that rust, go in there and fight. Yep, Lance did that. He's the last guy we've had. Well, we also had Aaron Bradshaw, who kissed the guy in that fight before Lance. Everybody's got the difference. Everybody's got different technique. Everybody's got a different technique. J Rock. What's up, J Rock? Hey, what's going on, y'all? It's been a while. First off, I'm down here in Pikeville. You know, I live in the 606 now, and just keep praying for us down here. I'm helping clean up and prayers for my homie, Mike Evans. Poor soul has to live in West Virginia. But I got a couple things in defense of Bob in Jamestown. Yeah. I was watching Gilligan's Island a couple nights ago, and, man, Lovey, hell, she looked good. I was really funny. It is looking like the Pikeville area is where it's really. It's really hit. Yeah. Yeah. There were Reports that I didn't really even know. They had a flood, floodgate in Pikeville and they had to close it. Oh, they had to shut it. That's what I saw some reports. I see why they would have it because the downtown is kind of set under a little bit everything else. So I could see that. Yeah, well, awful. And apparently the death toll is now like 16. You know, the rest of the country, Let me say this, the rest of the country could learn something from how Kentucky handles these disasters. You know, I want to give some credit to. I saw the floor speeches from the Senate yesterday and the Senate is like 85% Republican. And Robert Stivers, who I think leads the Senate and who I've feuded with at various things over the year, but also worked with, he got up there and said I just want to commend the governor and our response team. We're really good at this and they're really good at this and they deserve credit. And then Bashir said something similar about the Senate sending. Like that's what should happen in these situations. It's not people talking about how bad people are. Like I was like that is a really used to be how it was right in this time watching people come together. This state does that well and it really has for the last few years because we've been hit with way more than we deserve. And so kudos to both those guys, but especially to Stivers. That was a. That was big of him to do. Jackie, Go ahead, Jackie. First time, long time. Who are. What's up? So I've taught little kids early childhood teacher for over 30 years. And this is. I kind of agree and disagree with Ryan. But the fact of the matter is if you take a baby into that germ infested petri dish, that first out of the collar was right. But you also have to consider their ears. You've got to put earmuffs on these kids. They can't go in there and with the roar of the crowd. I'm not a pediatrician, but I can assure you it's damaging to their ears. And the other thing is, I would say maybe up to three years old you could hold a kid on your lap. Maybe the parents have got to use their common sense. Their kids gonna be obnoxious and bother people. Don't take them. Ask their teacher. Their teacher will tell you how they'll behave in a crap. There you go. Listen to this. Ryan, I appreciate the call. Getting some. Whereas no one took up for Billy Ryan. Getting some people taken up for him. I will say going to every home game, I see a lot of babies and I 9 out of 10 have big old ear muff headphone things on. So from what I've seen almost all of the parents are at least looking out that. Do they do that at Louder than Life? Shannon, do the kids wear? I think so, yeah. I think from what I can remember, I think they did have some sort of. I can't imagine bringing a child. I don't think they had them in the pit, to be fair. Why would you do that? That seems like I can't think of a worse idea. I was wondering the same thing. Yeah, you know, it may be February but we still have ways to go this winter season. One person writes on text machine. Matt, you know if Elon was with the Democrats you'd be for it. You're just being hypocritical. I messed up. Help me bout here. Where am I supposed to put this thing? See what happened I got my. I knocked my. No, I don't trust any rich people ever. Ever. You know, I don't like rich people. There's like, one rich person I know that I think I trust. I don't trust rich people. Democrat, Republican. You don't trust yourself, then that's a different. There's difference between. There's difference between rich and wealthy. I'm talking like, uber wealthy people. Don't trust them. Any of them. Zuckerberg, Gates. I don't trust any of those people. You should not give the richest people in the world direct access to the government. People who have, like, the most contracts with the government, giving them direct access. How do people think that's a good idea? It's scary, don't you think? I've already said it. We're walking right into it. We need Batman and Spider Man. People are rich because they don't care about anything but money. Like, are you kidding me? When have you known a rich person who's like, if you really are a generous soul, then they're gonna give their money away? And there are rich people who do that. But when have you known a uber rich person who wants control of government for the good of other people? You better know those people pretty well. Are we headed to a fallout between Elon and Trump? Yes. And if that happens, yes, Elon has access to all these. But Trump's more powerful. Trump's more powerful because the average person loves Trump. They're still skeptical of Elon in that battle. Trump wins, I hope. Yeah. Elon, to me, is the scariest dude in the world. He's not. He. I don't mean to get off on this, but, like, he wants to be involved in all governments in the world. He's trying to get involved in every. Like, all of you folks that are worried about, like, a one world government. How are you not worried about Eli? He's the scariest person in the world to me, outside of, like, Putin. I'm serious. Like, that's. This isn't political. I. He. He. Dudes like that, you know, I mean, Germany's having an election next week. He's getting involved in that. Does that not scare you? I think we need to hit him with the mean girls. You don't even go here, like, you're not from here. Well, he is an American. He's a citizen. But I mean, like, he's. We don't know his intentions. You all must. Those people who are like, please, like, at least with Trump, he's elected, right? Like, he can be true like this dude. Well, I find him to be the scariest person in the United States and in the world, except outside maybe Putin, because at least he doesn't have nuclear weapons. I don't think. I don't like that all three of the big billionaires are building underground layers right now. I don't like that all these billionaires who are Democrats just overnight became Republican and got access to the government. Does that not worry you? Sure. Like what do they. They were all Democrats. So what do they believe in? Being rich. Being rich. That's what they believe in. Jackson, go ahead. Jackson. Should they take a two year old to the game though? Hey, they, if they buy a ticket. Hey, yeah, buy a ticket, Jackson, go ahead. Hey, I have two points. My first point is I can't believe that nobody recognized Michael Kid Gilchrist. Would you have recognized him, Jackson? You would have recognized him, wouldn't you? Okay, about six months when we won and I would have recognized him. Good. Secondly, I have four younger siblings and so it's really hard for us to go to games and so I think that we should. You should be able to buy a lap seat even if it is like 10 or $20 just because it's so difficult for us to bring all of our kids to the game. That's just my take on it. I understand. Well, thank you, Jackson. I appreciate it. See, Jackson says you kids to know we have faith in our youth. Put Mario on, on for just a second. Mario, would you have known, Would you know a picture of Keith Bogan's by picture? A picture? No, if he's not in the jersey, I wouldn't know. All right, so yeah, if he's not in the jersey. So let's. Val, doth you know what about Jody Meeks by picture? Yeah, I know he's. But that's because you've met him. No, he just has a distinct look. Okay. I'm a basketball fan too. So it's like, I mean, not knowing, you know, not knowing. Bogans, that's top five leading scorer and hit. Would you know Kenny Walker by picture? Not really, no. Dude, he's probably out the door in Lexington. Like he's everywhere in Lexington at any given point. All right, DraftKings, let's do our pick of the tonight. Let's take Kentucky. How much do what's the score spreads? 5 and a half. I like Kentucky without. That's pretty good. I'll say Kentucky covers wins and covers. All right. What about you? I like Kentucky to cover. I'm feeling good. But I was also Feeling good about Texas and look where that got me. I didn't feel good about Texas. I picked him but I didn't feel good. I feel. I feel decent about tonight. I think the crowd makes a difference. Even we got. I don't like the snow though. We got to get everybody out there. Although the last snow game we had a great crowd. That's true. So hopefully, hopefully that happens again. Shannon, what are you think? Yeah, Vandy's been struggling on the road. Road. I think it's going to be probably like an eight point game. 78, 70, let's say somewhere in there. But we have to win. Have to. Cannot lose. Can't drop this one. Cannot lose this one. If you win this one, I think we're one win away from like the tournament in. But more importantly, you have to win for seating. You have to win for momentum. We have to win because we're losing Saturday at Alabama. So we have to win tonight, right? Yeah. I think Vanderbilt's beat us three of the last five. I think it's something like that. They swept us two years ago. Yeah. Cal lost in the senior day and tournament. Yeah. Back to back. Yeah. They also own us in football. Vanderbilt's kind of dad right now, if we're being honest. We need to get back to beating Vandy in sports. I already did it. Jane and I led the segment off once. You pay attention to the show. I got a lot going on over here. What do you have going on? What do you. What are you doing? I'm good. I didn't hear you do it. It's okay. So. All right. Pregame show is at 4:30 today. We'll be at the bar. It opens at 3. If you have tickets that you want me to give away. Matt Dot Jones at Kentucky Sports Radio. Those of you that are going to the game, be loud, make noise. This 1 In the LSU game, we have to win. We cannot lose these games. Tonight is the first of those. We'll see you on the pregame show. This has been Kentucky Sports Radio.
