Like, I haven't seen much. There's rumors that he likes the Cats, but you don't see him wearing the shirts. I didn't see him on KS board talking about a Kaden Lewis last night. George, you can call us and explain us what's going on there if you want to make the case, but I will keep him down as a famous Lexingtonian for now.

Josh Hopkins. We heard from him earlier in the week from Quantico. Cougar Town. Rust Coming up. Die hard Cats fan. He does not have to prove that he likes Kentucky. I think if you heard Wednesday show, it was very clear.

He was freaking out about the roster.

Listening to sources say and texting Pilgrim about details after the show. So he's a big fan.

Earnest Goes to Camps, probably my favorite. I think I saw that more than any of them. But Ernest Scared, Stupid, I think gave me nightmares with the meac. It's great, great, great.

I think I, like, watched a trailer or something back in the day, and I had gotten my fill. So is that it for your list or you got some more?

Maybe we'll do more. Lexington. Throughout the show, it's been very Lexington heavy. And I'm looking up at the TV and I see the Masters. I'm wearing a master shirt, Masters hat. Can't wait to get home to watch more of it. But I have to get your take on. I guess we'll call it a controversy yesterday. What was the guy's name? Jose Balester. I'll admit I was never familiar with this guy until yesterday.

Yeah, we're going to go with that.

Okay. Jose Balester. Not only was he wearing, like, an upside down Arizona State hat at the Masters, which is an odd move, but whatever, wear your hat. I guess those are trending now. He. During some downtime on the course as a participant, he took a leak in Ray's Creek, the most iconic creek in golf. The most iconic course in golf. It is sacred grounds there, Billy. If you drop a wrapper from a straw, someone will be behind you in two seconds to pick it up. The grounds. There you've been. It's like even the common areas where people are just trampling. It's like walking on a nice putting surface. Like, it's. It's immaculate.

[Billy Rutledge]

It is. And men in blazers are watching your every move. So for the fact that an actual golfer turned his back to the crowd to pee into the legendary raised creek. Drew, I'm. I'm stunned. I. I want to go in on the guy, but I can't find the words to it to do it. Drew. One, I don't want to be a hypocrite Because I've maybe peed on a golf course.

Oh, who hasn't?

But this is Augusta. What a lack of respect by this US Amateur champion, Drew. And my question now is, do you let the guy play today?

I don't think you let the guy out of prison.

He's in a rest of his life.

He should already be out of Georgia and in a pen somewhere. Even worse, he. He did his press conference. Colin Morocco could never. But Jose Balestra. Yes, Balester. He doubled down. He's like, I'd do it again. He's like, I had to go. I'm on a golf course. I would do it again. If the situation came up, they should have taking him off the grounds right there.

Anyone. Anyone out there that golfs? You know, sometimes you're on a course, bathroom's a little far away, you look around, it happens. There's not spectators everywhere, right? There's not TV cameras everywhere, and it's not Augusta National. But, Jose, what are you doing?

You're on the second or third most famous hole on the entire course as well. This is Ray's Creek. I could not believe it. And the kicker is there are porta potties and restrooms on that hole.

He said he could see one, but it was too far away. Come on, now. Come on, Jose. What are we doing?

This generation just thinks they can do anything they want.

[Matt Jones]

Drew, kick him out of the sport. Now I'm looking at tv, which is going to be my next topic. Fred Couples is on the screen.

Oh, and now I'm back. Now I love Freddie Couples.

Fred. I'm surprised Fred didn't throw Jose off the course. Fred loves the Masters. Last week, he was tied for 54th in a champions event. He won $4,000 this week. I don't know what place he's in. I guess he hadn't teed off yet, but this week. Was that the best shot of the day yesterday from one of them. How far out was he?

[Billy Rutledge]

196 inside 200 yards. He used a hybrid, or I think it was a six wood that they said after the seven wood. Seven wood, even crazier. Unbelievable. That guy's still playing. And not only that, he's in red figures. He's got a chance to make the cut. I absolutely love it. The first time Freddie Couples went under par in The Masters was 1983. So what is that, 42 years or a roundabout? Unbelievable that the guy's still throwing darts like that.

[Matt Jones]

That's what I like about The Masters. You know, golf's all about who can hit bombs these days, but not there. The old guys who know the course, they can still take you down. And he was using a yellow ball. I think that just adds to it. A seven wood with a yellow ball. Freddie Couples holds it. I hope he continues to have a big day. Justin Rose had a big day. Was it like his fifth time leading after one round?

[Billy Rutledge]

I think it was like his 20th Masters. So the guy knows the course now, but he's never won. He's had like two or three runner up finishes, so he's put himself in contention. Did you see Nick Dunlap became only the 11th guy to shoot 90 or above at the Masters and he had.03 putts. So riddle me that.

[Matt Jones]

Drew a pro golfer shooting in 90 in the Masters. He and he should have been thrown in the same police car as Jose and they should both be taken off the ground.

[Billy Rutledge]

Escort him out.

That's the second most disrespectful thing someone.

Yeah, it's a popular radio topic right now. I've heard it on like several podcasts. But people have been bringing up the. Could you win the Masters if you started on the green? Like from the farthest point from the hole on the green, could you win the Masters?

[Billy Rutledge]

I don't think I could. I don't think I could because at 3, I'd have to have maybe like 11 or 12 birdies. And if you're starting me on the other side of the green, the undulation of these things are incredible. Like, it's hard to comprehend just on TV how hilly the place is. And you know how much these greens go up and down. So I'm going to say no to that. Drew amazingly.

Same here. I'd make the cut. I would definitely put money on me to make the cut. I might even shoot par. I think if I just kind of lag putted my way around, I could get to a tap in, make par on every hole. But winning it? No, hey, I mean, I mean, you're.

The one birdie and holes at Valhalla on camera, right?

True iconic holes.

Yeah.

The island hole. That was a birdie. Stuck it tight. Let's ignore the fact I shot 110. You chipped in twice of Valhalla. If you're. If you're going to let me brag on the radio, I guess I should note that not once but twice. Hold out when we played on Valhalla last year.

Thank you. Yep. That's that's because I just could not get on the green at all. So I just had to eventually get into the hole because I could not stay on the green. But a big thank you to Gary, who led us out there, and we had some great time.

Lots of fun. They whooped us, though. That was.

They know the course, Drew. I mean, come on, we're out there just sightseeing.

I drove four hours that morning to make our tee time. So I was a little stiff getting off, getting out of the car and getting started. That was my worst round in a long time, probably since I was like 10.

Okay, so there's this conspiracy theory that every time like a new flavor of Mountain Dew comes out, a natural disaster happens. And the conspiracy theory is that like the CIA is dropping these flavors to kind of give us a head up. Of what? A heads up of what's going to happen. So for instance, there's a pitch black Mountain Dew. Three months after it was released, there was a horrible it blackout. If you all remember that everything shut down. There's a Star Spangled Banner, Mountain Dew. Well, three months after it come out, that boat hit that the Francis Scott Key bridge. Who wrote the Star Spangled Banner? Francis Scott Key. And it goes back even as far as cold red came out three months before 9 11. And that's what a code red is, is like a terrorist attack. So I thought it was crazy. I've been enveloped in it like for three days now. I found about it a couple days ago and I had to share. And I hope somebody wins tickets, has a great time. I will see you there. And he's like, I don't care what it tastes like. I just want to drink the color of the ocean that I'm looking at right now. So a little backstory on the history of Baja Blast.

The genesis. Just looking out into the ocean and wanting to drink the salty seawater.

I don't think I'm cut out for the military, but I think I could do the police. Like, I think the. The barrier of the entry is not as high as the basic boot camp that you would have to put me through for military. Although you've got to stay at the state police capitol and. And go through a type of camp like that.

So I could see you protecting and serving.

Yes, yes. It's just the children. When I have to get involved, there would be a sticky situation.

Well, I think it's down to me or you, because the other guys all took vacation during a potential national championship trip. So it shows. It shows how they feel about Kentucky winning the title. So if they can't even work on the day, you could potentially win the title. Can't even show up for their 10 to 12 job. They're definitely not getting a tattoo, so it's eliminate all of them. It's me or you. So you a tattoo guy?

I'm wanting a tattoo. I feel like I could make this happen. But if UK wins the title, I'm not getting the logo. I got to get something. An ode to the broadcast. So, like Tom Leach on my ribs or something like that.

Go to bed first until the Milwaukee trip? I would have said Matt. He likes to get in bed early, kind of get ready for the show the next day. He's not really a night owl when we're out on the town, but in Milwaukee, I've never seen a human sleep as much as Ryan Lemon. I don't know if he was feeling well. Ryan slept 22 and a half of 24 hours each day there. And yes, I know we're on the radio for two hours. Ryan was the sleeping as sleeper I've ever seen sleep in Milwaukee. So I. I'M going Ryan. He would go home to go to bed.

Okay. You know that one better than me. I never get to go out with the guys on these trips, so I'm going to trust your judgment. I'm not going to say Mario either, because he was going out back to the bars at 4am I'm trying to.

Keep up with Mario these days. I always thought I was the guy that was out all night. Mario's the one to watch now. That was a fun game.

Yeah. I don't know. Maybe a microphone would be better than, like a real photo, but I think the signature would be good. You know, we. I shared a photo of a UK fan that got Matt Jones's signature tattooed on his body. Matt didn't seem to like that idea.

Our friend Brooke, who's a longtime listener of the show, she tweeted that chalk, who we talked about in the first hour. She went to his 85th birthday party and she said she's never been more hungover.

Well, before we do our drawing, I want to give a shout out to the best intern of all time and maybe the longest running intern of all time. It's a Sad [e-mail] Brian. The Internet wrote his last post. It's up this morning. Last one, Last one. He's stepping away from the intern game. BTI has been writing on KSR since December of 2007. He said the 10am PO 10am post right after the morning show. I mean, my man's been writing through coaching changes. Actually, BTI is the one that even got me a job at ksr. You know, Matt will take credit for it. And of course, Matt was the one that asked me to start writing for ksr. But BTI found me on the Internet with link to my stuff way back on the day on BTI's Clicks to Pick. I think he called him. Or picks to click. Picks to click was what it was. But a good 18 year run for BTI. I know KSR listeners have enjoyed reading him forever, but he just wrote his last post to go check that out in bti. Whatever internship you find next, I hope you hope it goes well and we will certainly miss you around those parts.

Wow. Salute to BTI. One of the the OGs of the KSR world. That's a long time to be an intern, though.
