Nmlsconsumeraccess.Org welcome back to KSR Hour Number Two here on a Friday, April 11th. Billy and the weather. I can't see outside but I I don't know it's out there whatever it is. That house works. Weather and dates gotta give those 42.
Billy Rutledge
Degrees and cloudy according to my computer here.
Matt Jones
But thank you for that update. You know where it's not cloudy. KSR Bowling League it's back starts April 23rd right around the corner. Southland Lanes every Wednesday night at 7pm Come bowl with us. Scoop Lemon will be there. I'll be there. Matt will pop in. KSR and iheart will have teams and think of think you have what it takes to beat us. The league is 12 weeks long mixed with league of four person teams. You can have subs on deck if you miss a night. But it's $7,000 cash prize pool. I don't know how to divide it up. You don't get 7,000 if you win. That's still a lot of money to.
Billy Rutledge
Spread across divided by four or five people right?
Matt Jones
So and bowling is just awesome. They have good pizza out there by the way. That's not the script. They do great pizza but yeah. Southland Bowling Lanes will be there for the KSR League. Get signed up at KSR bowling.com you can save $50 total if you pay for the 12 weeks up front. There's a meeting on April 16th that's coming up but the the league starts on the 23rd so get signed up at KSR bowling.com is your old man.
Billy Rutledge
Back let you bowl Or. Oh, yeah. Few and far in between.
Matt Jones
Yeah. I mean, the back issues come and go, but I can handle some bowling. I'm not great, but I'm not just some bum out there. Good. I got probably a 140ish. 150ish.
Billy Rutledge
That sounds about right.
Matt Jones
You know, I mean, I'll do a 110 every once a while or maybe sneak in a 180, but I'd say on average, it's about where I am.
Billy Rutledge
No bumpers, too. I mean, It's a legit 140.
Matt Jones
Yeah. Do you think people know what the giveaway is now? Don't say the words now.
Billy Rutledge
Your last word, I think, did give it away.
Matt Jones
I think so.
Billy Rutledge
But you had to listen to every single segment to get each word.
Matt Jones
That's right. I wanted to reward the listeners this week. It's Listener Appreciation Week. So I have two tickets to see Tyler Childers next Saturday at Kroger Field. One lucky listener. We're going to put Rick to work. I hope Rick's ready over there.
Billy Rutledge
Finally.
Matt Jones
He said he's done great all week. But there's a challenge today. When you call in on the Clark's Pump and shop phone line, 859-280-2287 a, make sure you're able to go to that. And you want these because, you know this is a big giveaway. These are good seats, too. Not. But Rick is going to make sure you have the buzzwords because it hit me during that break, if the first person says them, then everyone will know them.
Billy Rutledge
Right.
Matt Jones
So you have to clear it with Rick.
Billy Rutledge
Don't say it on air.
Matt Jones
Don't say it on air unless you want more people in this contest. And at the end, I'm just everyone that gets through and knew the buzzwords and entertained us with calls. We're just going to draw one random.
Billy Rutledge
Okay.
Matt Jones
Probably be about four or five people, maybe. I don't know. We'll see how it goes.
Billy Rutledge
We'll do that last segment, maybe.
Matt Jones
Or I might even have people on Twitter. We'll see. We're making this up as we go. It's ksr, but you know the four buzzwords. Don't tell anyone. If you're interested in Tyler Childers at Kroger Field, part of Lexington's 250th birthday party, call in, let Rick know, and then you also have to tell us something. Tell us about Lexington. You know the buzzwords are your entry fee, but you can't just say hi and hang up.
Billy Rutledge
I call for the tickets.
Matt Jones
I'M not putting you in the hat when I draw names later. If you don't have something to say. And I'll even say this if you make me laugh or give us a good Lexington fact. You get two entries. I'll write your name down twice in this hat. So if you have a good call, double the chances.
Billy Rutledge
I love that.
Matt Jones
Can you tell I'm making this up as we go?
Billy Rutledge
I can, but. But it's a great way to end Drew Palooza. I think it's a great way to do it.
Matt Jones
One more election thing before we move on. There's a big event this summer that I'm excited about. I'll be telling you about a lot, but they're having a big ass bourbon party.
Billy Rutledge
Is that what.
Matt Jones
That's not me. That's not me. Cussing on air. That's what it's actually called. It's Thursday or got moved. It was on my actual birthday. I was going to have a Lexington slash Drew birthday. But it's June 11th. It's a bourbon tasting at Lex Live. It's only $25 and you get a four flighted bourbon tasting. A commemorative T shirt they're trying to make. Trying to get 20, 25 people at this bourbon tasting at Lex Live to help celebrate Lexington turning. 250. It's only like an hour. It's gonna be from like 6 to 7. You can be home in plenty of time to watch your shows. But it's gonna be a lot of fun. Live music from Honeychild. You familiar with Honeychild?
Billy Rutledge
I'm not.
Matt Jones
They played my wedding. Love Honeychild. Love Honeychild. I would go to this event if it was just Honeychild in there by themselves singing Honeychild. Add them to the Lexington musicians, by the way. Okay, if you have that list, put them with the Backstreet Boys. They might even be better than the Backstreet Boys. But mark your calendar for June. We'll have more info on that later. Tickets go on sale in May, but a big bourbon party and go get some flights of bourbon for only 25 bucks and celebrate this 250 Lex.
Billy Rutledge
Sounds like a great deal. We had the mayor talking about. What was it? Bluegrass tea at when she was an actor.
Matt Jones
She meant bourbon. I think so, Yeah. I don't. I don't think the mayor can be talking about drinking bourbon in a play, but I think that's what she was alluding to.
Billy Rutledge
Well, it might help you with the nerves.
Matt Jones
I will have a few. If they have them there, it may.
Billy Rutledge
Not help with your memory of the lines, but we'll get to that bridge when we cross it.
Matt Jones
Heck, we can maybe practice them later on the show. A few more Lexington things and we'll wrap it up. Been a lot of Lexington. I know not everyone lives in Lexington, but I did want to celebrate. 250. That's a big birthday.
Billy Rutledge
It's a lot of years.
Matt Jones
She doesn't look a day past 240. Other famous Lexingtonians. Mary Todd Lincoln. Ryan Lemon's favorite Lexingtonian.
Billy Rutledge
Past that house a lot.
Matt Jones
Yes, it's a haunted house.
Billy Rutledge
It's haunted.
Matt Jones
It's haunted. I've never been, but if you search haunted Lexington, which I did last night, it's one of the big results. I don't know if Mary's in there haunting people, but there are some. Some legends about some hauntings going on at the Mary Tomlinson.
Billy Rutledge
I'd love to know more, if anybody does know more.
Matt Jones
But for those who don't know, she was married to President Abraham Lincoln.
Billy Rutledge
Heard of him?
Matt Jones
I would hope so. George Clooney. George Clooney went to. Went to school. His family moved to Augusta, Kentucky. Augusta, Kentucky. But he was born in Lexington. At least his Wikipedia page tells me so.
Billy Rutledge
I've heard that before. Does he ever come back?
Matt Jones
Like, I haven't seen much. There's rumors that he likes the Cats, but you don't see him wearing the shirts. I didn't see him on KS board talking about a Kaden Lewis last night. So I question George Clooney's allegiance to the Cats. George, you can call us and explain us what's going on there if you want to make the case, but I will keep him down as a famous Lexingtonian for now.
Billy Rutledge
Okay.
Matt Jones
Josh Hopkins. We heard from him earlier in the week from Quantico. Cougar Town. Rust Coming up. Die hard Cats fan. He does not have to prove that he likes Kentucky. I think if you heard Wednesday show, it was very clear.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, no, he was.
Matt Jones
He was freaking out about the roster.
Billy Rutledge
Listening to sources say and texting Pilgrim about details after the show. So he's a big fan.
Matt Jones
What about Jim Varney? You know Jim Varney? What if I tell you his name is Ernest from the Earnest franchise?
Billy Rutledge
Oh, yeah, now I know him.
Matt Jones
Nobody loved Earnest movies like a young Drew Franklin. Loved Earnest movies. I think I had several. The vhs, Ernest Goes to Camp. Ernest Earnest, scared, stupid. Ernest Saves Christmas. Ernest Goes to Jail. I know you're a little younger than me, Billy, but didn't get any better than Earnest movies as a kid.
Billy Rutledge
Now, this was a fade. This episode where we rediscovered. And you guys gave me homework, and I watched a little Earnest.
Matt Jones
Oh, well, I don't think. I don't think we've done Fade this since. That's a conversation in itself. What did you learn about your Earnest homework?
Billy Rutledge
Not much.
Matt Jones
We'll follow up six months later.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, it was a long time ago, so I don't remember that. But you're telling me the guy that plays Ernest is a famous Lexingtonian?
Matt Jones
Yes. He passed away years ago, but he was Jim Varney the name. But everyone knows him as Ernest. There's like 200 Ernest movies.
Billy Rutledge
I do remember you being a huge fan when we talked about this on Fade this.
Matt Jones
Earnest Goes to Camps, probably my favorite. I think I saw that more than any of them. But Ernest Scared, Stupid, I think gave me nightmares with the meac. It's great, great, great.
Billy Rutledge
I think I, like, watched a trailer or something back in the day, and I had gotten my fill. So is that it for your list or you got some more?
Matt Jones
Maybe we'll do more. Lexington. Throughout the show, it's been very Lexington heavy. And I'm looking up at the TV and I see the Masters. I'm wearing a master shirt, Masters hat. Can't wait to get home to watch more of it. But I have to get your take on. I guess we'll call it a controversy yesterday. What was the guy's name? Jose Balester. I'll admit I was never familiar with this guy until yesterday.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, we're going to go with that.
Matt Jones
Okay. Jose Balester. Not only was he wearing, like, an upside down Arizona State hat at the Masters, which is an odd move, but whatever, wear your hat. I guess those are trending now. He. During some downtime on the course as a participant, he took a leak in Ray's Creek, the most iconic creek in golf. The most iconic course in golf. It is sacred grounds there, Billy. If you drop a wrapper from a straw, someone will be behind you in two seconds to pick it up. The grounds. There you've been. It's like even the common areas where people are just trampling. It's like walking on a nice putting surface. Like, it's. It's immaculate.
Billy Rutledge
It is. And men in blazers are watching your every move. So for the fact that an actual golfer turned his back to the crowd to pee into the legendary raised creek. Drew, I'm. I'm stunned. I. I want to go in on the guy, but I can't find the words to it to do it. Drew. One, I don't want to be a hypocrite Because I've maybe peed on a golf course.
Matt Jones
Oh, who hasn't?
Billy Rutledge
But this is Augusta. What a lack of respect by this US Amateur champion, Drew. And my question now is, do you let the guy play today?
Matt Jones
I don't think you let the guy out of prison.
Billy Rutledge
He's in a rest of his life.
Matt Jones
He should already be out of Georgia and in a pen somewhere. Even worse, he. He did his press conference. Colin Morocco could never. But Jose Balestra. Yes, Balester. He doubled down. He's like, I'd do it again. He's like, I had to go. I'm on a golf course. I would do it again. If the situation came up, they should have taking him off the grounds right there.
Billy Rutledge
I take responsibility, but I do not apologize.
Matt Jones
Anyone. Anyone out there that golfs? You know, sometimes you're on a course, bathroom's a little far away, you look around, it happens. There's not spectators everywhere, right? There's not TV cameras everywhere, and it's not Augusta National. But, Jose, what are you doing?
Billy Rutledge
You're on the second or third most famous hole on the entire course as well. This is Ray's Creek. I could not believe it. And the kicker is there are porta potties and restrooms on that hole.
Matt Jones
He said he could see one, but it was too far away. Come on, now. Come on, Jose. What are we doing?
Billy Rutledge
This generation just thinks they can do anything they want.
Matt Jones
Drew, kick him out of the sport. Now I'm looking at tv, which is going to be my next topic. Fred Couples is on the screen.
Billy Rutledge
Oh, and now I'm back. Now I love Freddie Couples.
Matt Jones
Fred. I'm surprised Fred didn't throw Jose off the course. Fred loves the Masters. Last week, he was tied for 54th in a champions event. He won $4,000 this week. I don't know what place he's in. I guess he hadn't teed off yet, but this week. Was that the best shot of the day yesterday from one of them. How far out was he?
Billy Rutledge
196 inside 200 yards. He used a hybrid, or I think it was a six wood that they said after the seven wood. Seven wood, even crazier. Unbelievable. That guy's still playing. And not only that, he's in red figures. He's got a chance to make the cut. I absolutely love it. The first time Freddie Couples went under par in The Masters was 1983. So what is that, 42 years or a roundabout? Unbelievable that the guy's still throwing darts like that.
Matt Jones
That's what I like about The Masters. You know, golf's all about who can hit bombs these days, but not there. The old guys who know the course, they can still take you down. And he was using a yellow ball. I think that just adds to it. A seven wood with a yellow ball. Freddie Couples holds it. I hope he continues to have a big day. Justin Rose had a big day. Was it like his fifth time leading after one round?
Billy Rutledge
I think it was like his 20th Masters. So the guy knows the course now, but he's never won. He's had like two or three runner up finishes, so he's put himself in contention. Did you see Nick Dunlap became only the 11th guy to shoot 90 or above at the Masters and he had.03 putts. So riddle me that.
Matt Jones
Drew a pro golfer shooting in 90 in the Masters. He and he should have been thrown in the same police car as Jose and they should both be taken off the ground.
Billy Rutledge
Escort him out.
Matt Jones
That's the second most disrespectful thing someone.
Billy Rutledge
Did to Augustus sign for a 90 at Augusta.
Matt Jones
Yeah, it's a popular radio topic right now. I've heard it on like several podcasts. But people have been bringing up the. Could you win the Masters if you started on the green? Like from the farthest point from the hole on the green, could you win the Masters?
Billy Rutledge
I don't think I could. I don't think I could because at 3, I'd have to have maybe like 11 or 12 birdies. And if you're starting me on the other side of the green, the undulation of these things are incredible. Like, it's hard to comprehend just on TV how hilly the place is. And you know how much these greens go up and down. So I'm going to say no to that. Drew amazingly.
Matt Jones
Same here. I'd make the cut. I would definitely put money on me to make the cut. I might even shoot par. I think if I just kind of lag putted my way around, I could get to a tap in, make par on every hole. But winning it? No, hey, I mean, I mean, you're.
Billy Rutledge
The one birdie and holes at Valhalla on camera, right?
Matt Jones
True iconic holes.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah.
Matt Jones
The island hole. That was a birdie. Stuck it tight. Let's ignore the fact I shot 110. You chipped in twice of Valhalla. If you're. If you're going to let me brag on the radio, I guess I should note that not once but twice. Hold out when we played on Valhalla last year.
Billy Rutledge
Thank you. Yep. That's that's because I just could not get on the green at all. So I just had to eventually get into the hole because I could not stay on the green. But a big thank you to Gary, who led us out there, and we had some great time.
Matt Jones
Lots of fun. They whooped us, though. That was.
Billy Rutledge
They know the course, Drew. I mean, come on, we're out there just sightseeing.
Matt Jones
I drove four hours that morning to make our tee time. So I was a little stiff getting off, getting out of the car and getting started. That was my worst round in a long time, probably since I was like 10.
Billy Rutledge
And I don't think you've played since.
Matt Jones
Actually, I haven't. That's a fact. Right? KSR Golf Scramble, May 30th. I'll be playing in that.
Billy Rutledge
Couple spots still open.
Matt Jones
It's like Valhalla. Get in there. It's kind of like the pga.
Billy Rutledge
Hey, I love University Club. Big Blue is as scenic as any public course. And Wildcat, I mean, I've played so much. I know that better than the back of my hand.
Matt Jones
I've already learned my team is on Wildcat because we're the defending champs on Wildcat Easier. So come get some easier. We'll come get some more KSR after this. Billy and I are going to get to this game, call in, tell Rick the four buzzwords, and then entertain us with your phone call. And one lucky listener will win two tickets to Tyler Childers at KROGER Field next weekend. We'll be right back. This is ksr. Welcome back to Kentucky Sports Radio. Drew, Franklin and Billy, our sports having a great time on our last Friday without the. Without the adults of the company, they all ran off to vacation. This is the good life. Billy. I have our whiskey thief. We're going to make it a tweet of the day.
Billy Rutledge
Okay, let's do it.
Matt Jones
Patricia Rowland, congratulations. You are our whiskey thief Tweeter of the day. She added a few more famous Lexingtonians. Harry Dean Stanton from Lafayette High School is a longtime character in many, many movies. There's also Michael Shannon, he's a big time actor. Went to Henry Clay and. And Laura Bell Bundy is from Lexington. Matt was in a music video with Laura Bell Bundy if I'm not mistaken.
Billy Rutledge
Do you remember which one that was?
Matt Jones
I don't know the exact title, but a few more popular Lexingtonians there. But now let's get some popular callers. Rick, who's up first on the phone line?
Drew Franklin
Got Casey up first.
Matt Jones
Casey, thank you for calling in. Are you participating in the contest or are you just here to say hi?
D
I'm just here to say hi. I already have tickets.
Matt Jones
You're here to say hey, fellers.
D
Yes, good morning, fellers. So I actually have something for you though. Have you all heard of the Mountain Dew conspiracy theory?
Matt Jones
No, but you have the floor.
D
Okay, so there's this conspiracy theory that every time like a new flavor of Mountain Dew comes out, a natural disaster happens. And the conspiracy theory is that like the CIA is dropping these flavors to kind of give us a head up. Of what? A heads up of what's going to happen. So for instance, there's a pitch black Mountain Dew. Three months after it was released, there was a horrible it blackout. If you all remember that everything shut down. There's a Star Spangled Banner, Mountain Dew. Well, three months after it come out, that boat hit that the Francis Scott Key bridge. Who wrote the Star Spangled Banner? Francis Scott Key. And it goes back even as far as cold red came out three months before 9 11. And that's what a code red is, is like a terrorist attack. So I thought it was crazy. I've been enveloped in it like for three days now. I found about it a couple days ago and I had to share. And I hope somebody wins tickets, has a great time. I will see you there. I hope you guys have a great day.
Matt Jones
Thank you, Casey. I know what I'm going to be doing Internet time this afternoon. This is the. I like Internet conspiracy theories. This is the first I've heard of the Mountain Dew. And do you do you believe in this, Bill?
Billy Rutledge
Well, if there's no such things as coincidences, then you would have to believe in something like this. I mean, the code red before 9, 11, though, I mean, that's. That's scary. I love me some Baja Blasts. I'd hate to think about the natural disaster or thing that happened right after that came out.
Matt Jones
I have a good story about Baja Blast. Would you like to hear?
Billy Rutledge
Would love a Baja Blast.
Matt Jones
Know you're gonna bring a Baja Blast. Years ago, longtime KSR listeners know that Taco Bell flew me to headquarters in California to be one of the first people to eat the Doritos Locos Taco.
Billy Rutledge
I've heard. I've heard stories of this, but tell.
Matt Jones
Me more for our longtime listeners and readers. I will eventually finish part two of that. I think it's been about 12 years since I wrote part one, but one of the best trips of my life. It was like going to Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
Billy Rutledge
Golden ticket, Charlie.
Matt Jones
Yeah. I got to meet the. I believe he was the CEO, and he was explaining Baja Blast, and he was on vacation and looking at the ocean and was like. He probably had a few of those teas Lindy Gordon was having, but he said, I want to drink that color. And then he just took a picture of the ocean and then sent it to research and development. And he's like, I don't care what it tastes like. I just want to drink the color of the ocean that I'm looking at right now. So a little backstory on the history of Baja Blast.
Billy Rutledge
The genesis. Just looking out into the ocean and wanting to drink the salty seawater.
Matt Jones
Talk about having power. Just probably had a couple. Few pina coladas. You're in your recliner, and you're like, that ocean's pretty. I'm going to create a nationwide drink that will be sold in all of our stores just based on me staring at this ocean.
Billy Rutledge
And it was such a. It was only in Taco Bell's for the longest time.
Matt Jones
Exactly.
Billy Rutledge
And now they're selling it everywhere. It's not the same.
Matt Jones
But, Rick, let's get some people that need to win this contest because it's a good prize, and I got to get some people that are participating. Who gave you. Give me someone that gave you the buzzwords.
Drew Franklin
Okay, let's go with Cole. Cole gave me the buzzwords.
Matt Jones
All right, Cole, you passed the test. What's up?
E
Hey, how are y'all doing? Drew. It's good to talk to you all. Drew and Rick, you all have done a great Job this week holding down the fort. And Billy, it's always great to hear you on the big show.
Billy Rutledge
Thank you.
E
Do I need to just go ahead and tell you the buzzwords there, Drew?
Matt Jones
No, you can't say the buzzwords, but do you have anything else for us? You can win a double entry if you're entertaining or have anything about Lexington or were you just dropping buzzwords to enter? Just make.
E
I was going to drop buzzwords to enter.
Matt Jones
Well, you already told him to, Rick, so just tell us anything. What's. What's going on in your life or name a Tyler child of.
E
I couldn't be more proud of my Braves. Last night Drew went in on a walk off Marcel Lazuna home run which made us happy. And every time I go to Lexington, I try to hit local taco. How about those two buzzwords?
Matt Jones
There you go. There you go. Great job. Make sure Rick has your email. You're in contention now. Thank you for listening to the first. Thanks. Thanks for bringing up the Braves. We appreciate the call. Local taco.
E
Appreciate you guys. Take care.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, tugging at the sponsor heartstrings a little bit there. Matt's local taco spot will go down in history.
Matt Jones
Hey, they don't sponsor me. That's a good place though. Rick, do we have time for a quick one? Yeah, we got the other caller who.
Drew Franklin
Had the words Drew.
Matt Jones
Oh, Drew, Nice name. Hey, Drew, tell us something entertaining.
E
Hey, guys, Drew from Corbin here. Hey, so I don't know if you said this earlier, but there's a Masters champion that used to live. He finished out his career in Lexington. Did you all talk about gabe brewer from 1967? Masters champion.
Matt Jones
I appreciate the call. Thank you for bringing that up. Actually meant to add him to Ryan's list of. Because I just took Ryan's notes, but yes, Gabe Brewer won the Masters. Very topical right now. Got his own course over there by Case Bar. Pick a dome.
Billy Rutledge
Pick a dome. Of course that you will get hit by a golf ball from another player because it is so tight over there. But I did not know about Gabe Brewer in the origin there.
Matt Jones
Sounds like you've either hit someone with golf ball. It's not that tight.
Billy Rutledge
Oh, it's tight.
Matt Jones
Seems like a personal story.
Billy Rutledge
I mean, I've almost gotten hit a couple times. I have not hitten or hit somebody yet, but I'm sure that'll happen. As much golf as I. As I play.
Matt Jones
All right, we got. We got two entries. I thought this was going to go a little better. I thought we'd have full Phone lines so far, 5050 shot to to win. Tyler Child.
Billy Rutledge
We got Cole, we got Drew.
Matt Jones
What if you're on? If you're on the Twitter machine, the X, I'm at Drew Franklin, ksr. If you send me the four buzzwords, I will have someone in the building because I recognize a lot of names. I don't play favorites. I'll have someone just randomly pick one of the Twitter people. We'll add them to the mix.
Billy Rutledge
Okay, we got a lot to get to in these final two segments.
Matt Jones
I have a game. Billy brought a game. We're going to play that next.
Billy Rutledge
You sure you want to do that instead of aliens and conspiracy theories?
Matt Jones
Well, Richie Farmer did text me just now. It says, when are you going to talk about aliens and ghosts?
Billy Rutledge
I mean, if Richie wants the aliens too.
Matt Jones
I mean it used to be when's Richie going to play? Now Richie is is texting in radio show saying, when are you going to talk about ghosts and aliens? Maybe we'll work those in. But as usual, I over programmed. It's got way too much going on here. But we're having fun. We'll be right back after this. Drew and Billy in downtown Lexington at iHeart Studio. This is KSR. I'm not Matt Jones. Drew Franklin. I can't keep telling you all this. Been doing it all week. But it's been Drew and Drew Palooza. Today's the last day before Shannon and Ryan get back. Next week I got Billy Rutledge with me. And this segment is brought to us by UK Federal Credit Union, the official credit union of the University of Kentucky, serving UK since 1937 and supporting the educational community. From student to graduate employee and beyond, UKFC is here for you and here for life. Recently named a Newsweek Best Regional Credit union and three peat winner of Herald Leaders Best in Lex award for Credit unions. Congratulations. It's a big deal.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah.
Matt Jones

Billy Rutledge
Let's do it.
Matt Jones
Rick, who's up first?
Drew Franklin
Robert is up first.
Matt Jones
Robert, I hear you pass the test. What do you have for me and Billy?
E
Well, there's two more Lexington guys I don't know if you mentioned, but what? Everybody likes Jim Barney. Did y'all mention Jim Barney? Ernest P. Worrell.
Matt Jones
We did love Ernest, but I'm glad you brought him up again. I can't talk enough about Ernest and.
E
In somebody everybody dislikes, Billy Reed, who hated. Who hated our cats. But one more. One more. Yeah, he would. Yeah, he. He hated the cats from Lexington, though. But what One thing I. I really wish we could just get rid of the term nil because these guys are all on salary now. Let's get rid of that term and save nil for the Clark's Pump Shop commercials. That'd be great.
Matt Jones
I agree. That's the way it was intended. To make rap videos at Clark's Pump and shop and sell T shirts. It's gotten way out of hand. But we appreciate the call. Rick. Who's next that knew the four buzzwords?
Drew Franklin
Greg is up next.
Matt Jones
Greg, talk to us.
Billy Rutledge
I pump, I shop.
E
Hey, Drew.
Matt Jones
Billy.
E
Y'all are doing a great job. One place in Lexington I always go when I visit is Joe Balona's, and I love their pizza. But I've also been practicing your also been practicing your lines for Caliparis, and I know what they are. It's woo, pig Suey. Let's go.
Matt Jones
All right. I appreciate that call. Kind of. We got. We got you entered in the contest, Rick. Let's get one more. Okay.
Drew Franklin
The last one is Jason.
Matt Jones
Jason, talk to us.
E
Hey, Drew, what's up? How's it going?
Matt Jones
We're having a blast. I'm going to miss doing this next week when I go back to my corner. Like killing Grady.
Billy Rutledge
Stand in your corner.
Matt Jones
Just wait for the ball to be passed to me.
E
You had to. You just have to jump in when Ryan's not talking or whatever.
Matt Jones
It won't be hard next week.
E
Got a couple things for you, actually. From Johnson County, Tyler Childers. Went to school in Paintsville High School, and I work and I'm in Virgie almost every day of my life. Kind of the song comes to my mind. And also at my wedding in 2020, we. When we walked out to All Yarn, so thought it's kind of cool and appropriate to call.
Matt Jones
Well, thank you. I appreciate the call.
Billy Rutledge
I like that nugget.
Matt Jones
Yeah. Record's one of my best song favorite songs about Tyler Yarn.
Billy Rutledge
All Yarn.
Matt Jones
Yeah, that one. And I will wait for you. I don't know the words, I guess, but I like that one, too. You brought a game. Billy, you have the floor. Tell me what I'm playing.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah. Were you voted anything in high school when you were a senior? Like most likely to?
Matt Jones
I was. What was it? Class clown? Actually, pretty sure I swept the vote.
Billy Rutledge
You voted? You voted.
Matt Jones
His class probably doesn't surprise many people.
Billy Rutledge
I was voted most Likely to host a reality TV show.
Matt Jones
I see it.
Billy Rutledge
We're getting close.
Matt Jones
Little Jeff Probst over there.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, we can get there one day, but I want to play who in KSR is most likely to.
Matt Jones
Oh, okay.
Billy Rutledge
I have a list of about 10 topics that we will go through. And you tell me who on KSR is most likely to do this thing. All right, all right, starting off, who on KSR is most likely to give an Irish goodbye to leave without saying goodbye at a party?
Matt Jones
This is easy. Matt. He did it to us in Milwaukee. We were at. Shannon wanted to go to the haunted bar. I'm forgetting the name, but yeah, Haunted bar in Milwaukee. It's like a cigar bar.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah.
Matt Jones
Shannon and I get a couple cigars. Shannon jumped in a ghost tour without paying. They were walking past us, and he just got in line and disappeared to the back of the building. Sorry for telling you, Shannon, you owe them 30 bucks. But I'm not even the third of the way through my cigar, and we're all like, where's Matt? Where's Matt? He was gone. Hello. Back to the Airbnb. So that one's easy. Matt Jones.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah. Well, he's got to get back to watch a game, too. I mean, it's.
Matt Jones
I think he was afraid of ghosts.
Billy Rutledge
Well, I would be, too, if they. If they. I was in a haunted house. Go through a couple more. Who would have your back in a fight? Who on KSR would most likely back you up if you got in a fight?
Matt Jones
Well, I'd like to thank all of them. I'm probably going to go Ryan. You or Ryan? I actually. I could see Shannon, too. Matt. I feel like would. Would try to talk his way out of it. I don't know if you can escalate. Yeah, you need somebody that'll step in and just landing some haymakers if it gets to that point. I don't know if it's Matt in that situation, not Mario.
Billy Rutledge
I think he's filming the fight, even though he would be on board. Like, he would protect us, but I think he's filming the fight.
Matt Jones
I like to think that all of you would. I'm going to say Ryan, though, he's the most protective. It's that he has that dad instinct with all of us.
Billy Rutledge
I think a switch would flip in Shannon's head, and I feel like he would, like, come after anybody that would come after one of us. You know what I mean?
Matt Jones
He could seize the moment with that wrestler personality. I could see him flipping a switch.
Billy Rutledge
You know, I'm worried About Ryan, I'm. I'm hoping that he's not already on the ground after somebody sucker punched him. So it's true. So I'm going to go, Shannon, there you're going. Ryan, who on KSR is most likely to bail you out of jail after you make your one phone call?
Matt Jones
This one.
Billy Rutledge
We know Matt's got the capital to bail you out of jail, but is.
Matt Jones
That I'm going to. I'm going to make a caveat. If Matt can can Venmo the money to you in jail, he would absolutely. He would absolutely part ways with the money to help you. It's just a matter of could we get him to the jail to pay it. So I'm going to go. Ryan would be the one to show up to get you out of jail.
Billy Rutledge
Ryan, two in the morning. I'm calling.
Matt Jones
I think.
Billy Rutledge
I think if he has snoring through it.
Matt Jones
Exactly. Maybe Ryan with Matt's checkbook. Because Matt generous. I just don't know that he would show up at the jail at 2 in the morning to get.
Billy Rutledge
To get him at the right time. Yeah, you would.
Matt Jones
He would definitely pay the money. He's very generous guy. But I don't know if he'd show up. So I'm going Ryan again. It's another one of the dad instinct in Ryan, I think would kick in.
Billy Rutledge
I'm going you. I'm hoping you're bailing me out.
Matt Jones
I've actually had to do that for a friend before, so.
Billy Rutledge
So there you go. So you understand. Maybe it gets away from you on a party night and you got to go find your friend who on KSR would die first in a scary movie. Now we know Ryan's trying to feel out the situation.
Matt Jones
Yeah.
Billy Rutledge
He may go into the room full of chainsaws.
Matt Jones
I'm going Shannon. I think Shannon would walk towards the danger.
Billy Rutledge
You think Shannon's just like, I'm better than the danger. You know, he's just so arrogant about it that he would go and be the first one to die.
Matt Jones
It's part the arrogance in part like just the interest in what's going on. Like I said, we're at this haunted bar and the touring group walks by our table and he's like, I got to see what's going on behind this door they're going through. So he just hops up and went. I think it's a combination of him thinking he could fight the guy with the chainsaw or whatever's going on and he would just want to know what's going on with the Danger.
Billy Rutledge
I'm surprised he didn't pass when he had to stay in that doll room. If you remember the Airbnb. True for that one.
Matt Jones
Shannon on that one. This is a really fun game, by the way. We should have been doing this hours ago.
Billy Rutledge
Who on KSR is most likely to order the most expensive things thing on the menu? And I'll start and say Mario, because he has the menu upside down and he doesn't know what he's picking.
Matt Jones
So. Cats.
Billy Rutledge
So you tell me who's ordering the. The lobster and the steak.
Matt Jones
I'm have to include myself. I'm kind of.
Billy Rutledge
It's you.
Matt Jones
I'm kind of.
Billy Rutledge
It's you.
Matt Jones
I like a good fine wine and a good steak. It's probably going to be me on that one.
Billy Rutledge
Okay. I. I mean, my first thought went to Matt just because he's got again, the capital to. Ryan might indulge if he's not paying for the dinner. Right?
Matt Jones
Yeah. I like good restaurants, and there's. I've been to restaurants where I've paid way too much money because they allegedly has some kind of Michelin star and things like that. So you're foodie.
Billy Rutledge
So, I mean, I can definitely see that.
Matt Jones
I've had some expensive, very expensive dinners for myself. So I'll go me there.
Billy Rutledge
All right, you're on the side of the road. Who on KSR is most likely to get out and change a flat tire?
Matt Jones
We're all together.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, we're in the. We're in the car for the road trip here.
Matt Jones
I've unfortunately had to change three flat tires, so I've had the experience. Didn't enjoy those. I'm not going to say myself, though. I think Ryan would just. I think it's right out.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, I think it's the dad.
Matt Jones
It's the dad.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah.
Matt Jones
Now, I'd get out and help him, and I think a lot of people would get out and help him, but I think he would be the first to pop the trunk and get out the spare.
Billy Rutledge
Who on KSR is most likely to join the military or the police force now? We just did the show at the state police. I think we're going to do one soon with the Lexington police that we had such a good time. But didn't Ryan think he was going to have a career in law enforcement? And he say that he wanted to possibly do this.
Matt Jones
I don't want to make this the Ryan game, but Matt, no, me, I can look in the mirror and say that I'm not built for It. I don't think. I don't think I could do that. Shannon.
Billy Rutledge
Shannon is a rock star.
Matt Jones
I think he'd get a call and he'd be like, help yourself. You'll be all right. Are you dead? No. Okay. You'll be fine.
Billy Rutledge
Which would you pick? What do you think about me joining the police?
Matt Jones
Well, I'm down to you and Ryan. I'm gonna lean Ryan because he was gonna go into law enforcement, but I could see you wearing the badge.
Billy Rutledge
I don't think I'm cut out for the military, but I think I could do the police. Like, I think the. The barrier of the entry is not as high as the basic boot camp that you would have to put me through for military. Although you've got to stay at the state police capitol and. And go through a type of camp like that.
Matt Jones
So I could see you protecting and serving.
Billy Rutledge
Yes, yes. It's just the children. When I have to get involved, there would be a sticky situation.
Drew Franklin
Couple more.
Billy Rutledge
Who'd be most likely to be abducted by an alien?
Matt Jones
Oh, definitely me.
Billy Rutledge
Because you're going towards it.
Matt Jones
Well, the other ones don't believe in it. Actually, no. I'm gonna pick Matt because he doesn't believe. He won't see it coming. I will be prepared. I'll already be in my alien bunker with all my canned goods, ready to live for three years. Matt will just shrug it off like it's a neighbor with a drone. And next thing you know, he will be sucked up into space and he'll be gone. And he's going, Matt.
Billy Rutledge
And his brain needs to be studied. Right?
Matt Jones
Exactly.
Billy Rutledge
Ryan's brain needs to be studied, too.
Matt Jones
So I think the aliens would give Ryan back quickly.
Billy Rutledge
We don't need this guy anymore. He's. He's causing us too much trouble. I think I'm going Matt, too. We'll just do a couple more. Who in KSR is most likely to star in their own reality TV show? I'm hosting as I was elected in high school, but who would. Who would star in their own.
Matt Jones
I'm going Matt again. He did that. That bachelor episode. Hey, Kentucky. So he's got experience.
Billy Rutledge
He almost did 90 Day Fiance.
Matt Jones
Almost 90 Day Fiance. Now I'm eventually going to win Survivor. I'm serious about.
Billy Rutledge
I've heard this.
Matt Jones
People laugh. I'm going to win Survivor. You all just wait. I just got to get in shape. I got to. I got to learn how to make fire, and then I'm going to start applying. I am going to win Survivor, but I'm going to say Matt is the most likely to start.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, I'm gonna go Matt, too. I mean, he's got a couple different dimensions. You can go to ovw, ksr. He's got a lot going on. It's a very boring reality show if you're. You're looking at my Life and Most of us.
Matt Jones
Or he's the only fully single one. So most shows these days are Love is Blind or Love is an island or Love on the Spectrum or Love this, Love that. He. He's got a lot more options than the rest of us.
Billy Rutledge
Two more. Who on KSR is most likely to be like Rick Patino and get a championship of the Kentucky Wildcats logo after they win a title? Patino famously getting the Louisville Cardinal on his back after their, I think, title in 2013, if that exists. But who on KSR would be most likely to get their own tattoo?
Matt Jones
Well, I think it's down to me or you, because the other guys all took vacation during a potential national championship trip. So it shows. It shows how they feel about Kentucky winning the title. So if they can't even work on the day, you could potentially win the title. Can't even show up for their 10 to 12 job. They're definitely not getting a tattoo, so it's eliminate all of them. It's me or you. So you a tattoo guy?
Billy Rutledge
I'm wanting a tattoo. I feel like I could make this happen. But if UK wins the title, I'm not getting the logo. I got to get something. An ode to the broadcast. So, like Tom Leach on my ribs or something like that.
Matt Jones
This is so happening. Well, I'm picking you, and I'm saving this podcast for when we win the title next year.
Billy Rutledge
You are going to get a Tom.
Matt Jones
Leach to the tattoo parlor for Tom Leach. Okay.
Billy Rutledge
And then our final one. We know that Drew is the last one in bed after a night out, but who is the first? Who on KSR is most likely to.
Matt Jones
Go to bed first until the Milwaukee trip? I would have said Matt. He likes to get in bed early, kind of get ready for the show the next day. He's not really a night owl when we're out on the town, but in Milwaukee, I've never seen a human sleep as much as Ryan Lemon. I don't know if he was feeling well. Ryan slept 22 and a half of 24 hours each day there. And yes, I know we're on the radio for two hours. Ryan was the sleeping as sleeper I've ever seen sleep in Milwaukee. So I. I'M going Ryan. He would go home to go to bed.
Billy Rutledge
Okay. You know that one better than me. I never get to go out with the guys on these trips, so I'm going to trust your judgment. I'm not going to say Mario either, because he was going out back to the bars at 4am I'm trying to.
Matt Jones
Keep up with Mario these days. I always thought I was the guy that was out all night. Mario's the one to watch now. That was a fun game.
Billy Rutledge
Well, there you go. Yeah, KSR is most likely.
Matt Jones
Yeah, let's take a break and then give somebody some Tyler Childers tickets.
Billy Rutledge
And delete that part about the Tom Leach tattoo.
Matt Jones
No, you were getting a Tom Leach tattoo. Are you getting like, his signature or like a maybe cartoon Tom Leach?
Billy Rutledge
Yeah. I don't know. Maybe a microphone would be better than, like a real photo, but I think the signature would be good. You know, we. I shared a photo of a UK fan that got Matt Jones's signature tattooed on his body. Matt didn't seem to like that idea.
Matt Jones
Well, you're getting the leech tattoo. We'll be right back. One last segment of Droopalooza. I'm getting sad it's almost over this ks. Welcome back. One final segment of Drew Palooza. It's been a fun week. Thank you to everyone who's listened. People have sent me nice messages. Anyone that sent me hate. I like you to bring it on, but it's been a fun week, driving the show for five days. And Billy, thank you. It's been a lot of fun, especially that last game. We should have played more of that. I wish we had more time.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, well, we'll have to do it next time we take over. But seriously, Drew, you've done a great.
Matt Jones
Job, so maybe it'll be an annual thing.
Billy Rutledge
I was not happy everybody left at the same time, so. Well, doubt it.
Matt Jones
But when one door opens, another one. Nope, that doesn't apply here. A few, a few. A few things I want to touch from Twitter. Aaron Jackson says there's a new Mountain Dew Mango Rush coming out. What does that mean? Mango Rush.
Billy Rutledge
That means we're going to have a traumatic event on the news in the next couple days.
Matt Jones
Looks like there's a Little Caesars logo on it. I love Little Caesars. Little Caesar's going to be okay.
Billy Rutledge
Mango Mountain Dew.
Matt Jones
Mango Mountain Dew.
Billy Rutledge
Maybe Shannon can tell us more when he gets back.
Matt Jones
Our friend Brooke, who's a longtime listener of the show, she tweeted that chalk, who we talked about in the first hour. She went to his 85th birthday party and she said she's never been more hungover.
Billy Rutledge
Corey knows how to party. Yeah. No old chalkeye. I learned a lot on this show, Drew. You've been very informative.
Matt Jones
Well, before we do our drawing, I want to give a shout out to the best intern of all time and maybe the longest running intern of all time. It's a Sad Day@Kentuckysportsradio.com Brian. The Internet wrote his last post. It's up this morning. Last one, Last one. He's stepping away from the intern game. BTI has been writing on KSR since December of 2007. He said the 10am PO 10am post right after the morning show. I mean, my man's been writing through coaching changes. Actually, BTI is the one that even got me a job at ksr. You know, Matt will take credit for it. And of course, Matt was the one that asked me to start writing for ksr. But BTI found me on the Internet with link to my stuff way back on the day on BTI's Clicks to Pick. I think he called him. Or picks to click. Picks to click was what it was. But a good 18 year run for BTI. I know KSR listeners have enjoyed reading him forever, but he just wrote his last post to go check that out in bti. Whatever internship you find next, I hope you hope it goes well and we will certainly miss you around those parts.
Billy Rutledge
Wow. Salute to BTI. One of the the OGs of the KSR world. That's a long time to be an intern, though.
Matt Jones
It is.
Billy Rutledge
We couldn't get the guy in position.
Matt Jones
Well, I didn't have any control over it. B. He was great at what he was. Yeah, he's in the right role.
Billy Rutledge
Just play your role. I mean, that's these you're getting, guys. And for Mark Pope's system, you just want somebody that knows their role.
Matt Jones
Yeah. All right, Billy, let's get a winner. I'm going to take my headset off because I'm going to put these in a hat. So I'm going to do the hat.
Billy Rutledge
All right, we're going to do the.
Matt Jones
So I've written down everyone that called in has two chances because I feel like calling in. You should have a better chance. And then three were randomly picked from Twitter. Had a lot of Twitter submissions. I'm gonna shuffle it up.
Billy Rutledge
All right.
Matt Jones
You might not be able to read my handwriting, but like I said, if you called, you've got multiple shots. If you were just a Twitter, you have One in the master's hat. Who's gonna win tickets to see Tyler Childers? Part of Lexington's 250th birthday celebration.
Billy Rutledge
And our winner is. Jason.
Matt Jones
Jason. Jason called in. I don't remember exactly his submission, but I'm glad I went to a caller. We like our Twitter folks, but the people that called in and gave it to it gave them a little priority. Jason, I have your email because Rick did a killer job over there. I will get in touch with you and send you those. Jason, you're going to see Tyler Childers.
Billy Rutledge
Wow. I think he was the last one to call it as well.
Matt Jones
Was. It was fun game. I'm glad it worked out. Kind of made it up on the fly. Not kind of. I definitely did and it worked out. Jason's going to see Tyler Childers. I won't be there, but that's going to be a fun show over at Coker Field.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah, we got. We got to see Tyler at Country Boy in a very intimate setting. So that. That was a lot of fun. And they continue their series at Kroger Field. Who they have. Last year it was Stapleton. Yeah. All the alcohol sales. And they did a little test run.
Matt Jones
Little test run.
Billy Rutledge
Yeah.
Matt Jones
This is. This is wrapping it up. Billy, I'm kind of sad. Wow. Do we have one shining moment queued up?
Billy Rutledge
Well, I mean, could you give us some script read from Count Paris? Do you want to fit that in.
Matt Jones
Maybe next week with Ryan? I got my costume fitting is in like 20 minutes.
Billy Rutledge
Script. Yeah, yeah.
Matt Jones
I got to get my costume. Might tweet a picture of my costume. But again, thanks to everyone who's listened. I've had fun hosting this week. Thanks to all my guests that joined us, from Billy to Josh Hopkins to all the on three writers. It's a really fun week. Ryan and Shannon and Mario are all back on Monday. We'll still be cutting up with Matt gone. Matt's gone for another week, but we've had a great time here at Drew Palooza, and thank you, Billy, for being a big part of it.
Billy Rutledge
Of course. Thanks to the mayor for coming in today.
Matt Jones
Mayor. How could I forget? The mayor had all kinds. Todd Bryant, Tianna Key, Jaden Quaintance. The baby crying in the Jaden Quaintance interview.
Billy Rutledge
Been a great week.
Matt Jones
It's been jam packed. I worried I overdid it. It's been kind of hectic, but there's been a lot of news.
Billy Rutledge
No. Right on target, Drew.
Matt Jones
All right, well, we'll sign it off. We'll be back on Monday with the other guys back. Thanks for listening to Drew Palooza. We've had a lot of fun. And who knows? Maybe it'll be an annual event. Go, Cats.
KSR - Hour 2 Summary Released: April 11, 2025 | Hosts: Matt Jones & Billy Rutledge | Produced by iHeartPodcasts and Sports Talk 790 (WKRD-AM)
The episode kicks off with Matt Jones welcoming listeners back to KSR Hour Number Two on a Friday morning. Billy Rutledge provides a brief weather update, noting, “Degrees and cloudy according to my computer here” (01:11).
Matt enthusiastically announces the return of the KSR Bowling League, set to commence on April 23rd at Southland Lanes every Wednesday at 7 PM. He highlights the league's competitive spirit and the enticing $7,000 cash prize pool, joking, “I don't know how to divide it up. You don't get 7,000 if you win. That's still a lot of money” (01:49). Billy adds, “Spread across divided by four or five people right?” taking a lighthearted jab at prize distribution. Matt emphasizes the quality of Southland Bowling Lanes, mentioning their excellent pizza, and encourages listeners to sign up early to save $50 by paying for the 12-week league upfront (02:14).
In celebration of Listener Appreciation Week, Matt reveals a special giveaway: two tickets to see Tyler Childers at Kroger Field on the following Saturday. To enter, listeners must be attentive and catch four "buzzwords" scattered throughout the episode. Matt explains, “If you don't have something to say. And I'll even say this if you make me laugh or give us a good Lexington fact. You get two entries” (04:24). This interactive segment encourages listeners to engage deeply with the show's content to win a coveted prize.
Matt shifts focus to upcoming events in Lexington, particularly a bourbon tasting event at Lex Live on June 11th, coinciding with Lexington's 250th birthday celebration. Priced at $25, the event features a four-flight bourbon tasting, a commemorative T-shirt, and live music from Honeychild. Matt shares his personal connection, mentioning, “They played my wedding. Love Honeychild” (05:16), and encourages listeners to mark their calendars for this celebratory occasion.
The hosts delve into notable Lexingtonian figures, including:
Mary Todd Lincoln: Billy references her association with Lexington, prompting Matt to discuss legends surrounding her haunting the Mary Tomlinson house (06:34).
George Clooney: Matt humorously speculates about Clooney's allegiance to the Kentucky Wildcats, stating, “He might even be better than the Backstreet Boys” (06:52).
Josh Hopkins: Mentioned as a die-hard Wildcats fan, with previous references to his fervent support during roster changes (07:14).
Jim Varney (Ernest): Billy recalls watching Ernest movies as homework, leading to a nostalgic conversation about the beloved character and Varney’s legacy (07:57).
A heated discussion unfolds around Jose Balester, a golfer who disrespectfully urinated in Ray's Creek at the Augusta National Golf Club, violating the course's etiquette. Billy expresses disbelief, saying, “This generation just thinks they can do anything they want” (10:15), while Matt criticizes Balester's actions and the permissiveness of the sport, stating, “He should already be out of Georgia and in a pen somewhere” (10:20). The hosts debate whether such behavior warrants being banned from the sport, with Matt asserting, “Kick him out of the sport” (10:15).
Transitioning to the Masters Tournament, Matt highlights notable performances:
Fred Couples: Commended for his impressive shot, hitting a 196-yard drive inside 200 yards using a seven-wood, an unconventional choice (11:47).
Nick Dunlap: Mentioned for being only the 11th golfer to shoot 90 or above at the Masters, sparking conversations about his performance (12:38).
Matt laments the performance of professionals who do not uphold the sport's standards, reiterating his stance on Balester's misconduct (13:03).
Billy introduces a fun segment, prompting Matt to engage in the game “Who on KSR Is Most Likely To.” They tackle various scenarios, humorously attributing traits to each other and fictional KSR personalities:
Irish Goodbye at Parties: Matt admits to leaving without saying goodbye, recalling a haunted bar incident in Milwaukee (27:21).
Backing You Up in a Fight: Both recognize Ryan's protective nature, reflecting on his “dad instinct” (28:07).
Bailing You Out of Jail: Matt believes Ryan would come through with the funds, demonstrating his reliability (29:10).
Being Abducted by Aliens: They jest about Matt being the most likely due to his disbelief in aliens (33:32).
Starring in a Reality TV Show: Both nominate Matt, citing his charismatic presence and potential for shows like "Survivor" (34:02).
Getting a Wildcats Tattoo: Discussions turn to who would sport a Kentucky Wildcats logo tattoo, with Billy contemplating getting one inspired by Tom Leach (35:29).
The segment is filled with laughter and lighthearted teasing, showcasing the hosts' camaraderie and rapport.

After numerous entries and lively interactions, Matt and Billy conduct the drawing:
As the episode nears its end, Matt and Billy extend heartfelt thanks to loyal listeners and acknowledge the contributions of their longest-running intern, BTI, who steps away after 18 years of service (39:53).
