No, he won. Right. He came back at the end, cheated, cheated right at the end and blocked. All right, so I got some players who played quarterback who played basketball for Kentucky. Ready? First of all, Anthony Epps did play quarterback.

I thought he did, but I wasn't for sure about that.

Desmond Allison played quarterback.

Oh, he's a good one.

Wawa Jones played quarterback.

Well, I was good at everything, almost said Wawa.

He was. I know he was a pitcher in baseball. He could throw it 100 miles an hour.

So there you go. And he stopped before his senior year of high school. But Kobe Braya Scar started for his high school as a quarterback.

As a junior, the Internet also told me Rondo played a little high school quarterback and did Oak Hill. And now before he went to. Okay, and did Jasper Johnson play at Woodford? Someone else submitted that he did.

He played quarterback at Woodford County. Yes.

So there you go. More than we. More than we thought. All right, got some folks on the phone. I'm gonna go to it in just a second. Just a couple quick things first, Drew, the Karen Reed trial. While we were doing the Matt Jones show yesterday, which is the name is about to officially change to Interrupted by Matt Jones, Drew and I were doing the news with Billy, the Karen Reed verdict. We had just talked about it and then the verdict came out. Not guilty on anything except dui. I did not follow this trial at all. I have people in my life who cared too much about it. Do you. Did. Did you care and did what you think of the verdict?

[Shannon The Dude]

Well, I enjoyed yesterday. Billy and I predicted guilty maybe three minutes before the news broke that you both said guilty.

[Drew Franklin]

And then we got the breaking news.

[Shannon The Dude]

It could have been under two minutes. How quickly we were wrong. I did not really follow it. My guilty thing was a complete guess. For show purposes. I have seen a few, like updates on tv. I won't lie. A couple nights ago I flipped over to Court tv. I probably haven't done that since the OJ Trial just to see what was going on. But I could. I didn't. I wasn't one of the people that was obsessed.

[Drew Franklin]

Did you follow it?

[Matt Jones]

I watched a couple of Dateline episodes about it. So I'm kind of.

[Drew Franklin]

So you're an expert?

[Matt Jones]

I'm an expert on top of it. So if she didn't. Are they saying the Boston police guys, did somebody killed that man?

[Shannon The Dude]

I gotta find out.

[Drew Franklin]

I guess they're gonna have to get you on the case. I don't know. I don't know anything about it. I really didn't watch any of it. But I know some people. It was very important, the verdict. And so now I guess. Will she have a reality show soon?

[Shannon The Dude]

Probably. Her book probably comes out next week. She'll be on the View, a co host on the View soon. Well, it is weird to me. Like we'll just as a society just pick a case and obsess over it because this doesn't seem that unique to other stuff that's. That's happened out there. But I mean people.

[Drew Franklin]

She's kind of pretty is that probably.

[Shannon The Dude]

Part of it is a police officer. But I mean some people just absolutely obsessed over every little thing about it for months. And it's weird how we do that.

[Drew Franklin]

Well, you can listen to me and Drew and Billy do the news on the Matt Jones show. It's tonight at 6 o' clock on HS or you can listen on podcast. I will say Billy, his news was a little negative yesterday. Although to be fair there's not a lot of fun things happening right now in the, in the national news. But he went back to back Iran, Israel legislator get shot plane crash in India and we were like Billy, can you lighten up the news just a little bit? But it was still fun.

[Shannon The Dude]

You broke it up with an ad read there to change the mood. But you know the news is the news.

[Drew Franklin]

Clayton Croom and everything just cheered up.

Billy brings the news. He doesn't decide what's out there.

[Drew Franklin]

Yes, it's all the news. Have you seen the Stephen A. Smith City of Memphis beef?

[Matt Jones]

Oh, I know I'm going to love this.

[Drew Franklin]

Do you not know about it?

[Matt Jones]

No.

[Drew Franklin]

Okay, so Stephen A. Smith went on television and you know, they, I guess Memphis traded Desmond Bain to Orlando. And Stephen A. Smith said, I've talked to local authorities in Memphis, by the way. No you haven't. But I, I've. I've talked to local authorities in Memphis and players do not want to go to Memphis. Cause there's too much crime. That's why they don't sign with Memphis. They're worried about there being too much crime. And as soon as I said saw that I was like that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I'm not saying there's not crime in Memphis, but you don't think there's crime in Chicago, you don't think there's crime in Detroit, you don't think there's crime in San Francisco and la. I mean there's crime in a lot of places. The other thing is these players, they don't live where the crime is. Like do you think John Morant is living where the crime in Memphis is? I bet he's living in a suburb in a massive house. Well, the city of Memphis is angry about it. I mean angry. Tayshawn Prince got involved yesterday. Did you see Said Steven? Because Tayshawn lives in Memphis, right? Says you don't know anything about Memphis. The mayor of Memphis is mad. Memphis is up in arms. I'm kind of Ryan on Memphis's side. Not that I don't think there's crime. I'm sure there is. A, no players deciding where to go based on crime. Chicago. You think you're not going to go play in Chicago. But B, I'd be mad too. You can't just say a whole city players are not signing because of that.

[Matt Jones]

He totally made that up.

[Drew Franklin]

He made it up. He's talking to the Memphis police. Hey, Stephen. A. It's the Memphis police. Like stop it.

Like you said, these players, they live in where there's crime going down to Memphis. I'm sure there's some areas of Memphis you don't want to go down, but.

[Drew Franklin]

There'S areas of almost every city that you don't want to go down. There's areas of Louisville at night you don't want to go down. There's areas of Harlan I wouldn't go at night. Like, I mean just that's how it is.

[Shannon The Dude]

And what about the big bass pro shop in the pyramid? I mean Memphis has a lot of things the players probably enjoy. I assume they're there at least every other weekend.

[Drew Franklin]

So it's easy to. It's easy to crap on Memphis. But let's talk about the good things of Memphis.

[Matt Jones]

Food.

[Shannon The Dude]

Barbecue.

[Drew Franklin]

Yes, great food in Memphis, right? Music, the blues, three, six, mafia history. Do you remember when we walked by the Martin Luther King, the Lorraine Hotel, the music, civil rights. A lot of that stuff is there.

[Ryan Lemon]

Jerry the King Lawler.

[Drew Franklin]

Jerry the King Lawler. According to Shannon. Is there one of the great wrestlers of all time?

[Ryan Lemon]

Yeah.

[Drew Franklin]

So I, I, I, Stephen A. Smith doubled down yesterday and he was like, I looked and per capita block like stop. Whether players want to go to play in Memphis. They may not want to play because it's a small city, but Drew, it's not because they think they're going to get robbed when they go to the game. That is not why they go there.

[Shannon The Dude]

I'm sure most players would prefer a market like LA or New York. I could understand if it for that reason, but I don't know that they're, they're out in the trouble.

[Drew Franklin]

And I think LA and New York are probably the two most attractive markets. And, and guess what? They have some crime. I mean, guess what?

[Shannon The Dude]

They don't have a pyramid bass pro shops.

[Matt Jones]

It must have really upset Tayshawn because that guy never says speaks up about anything. Kind of keeps to himself.

[Drew Franklin]

The people of Memphis are upset and I, I'm for it.

[Ryan Lemon]

I love. I had such a great time.

I've had fun in Memphis. Except for John Higgins. Memphis was a great trip when we went down, we were duck.

Yeah. We walked the ducks.

You think LeBron really spends his time worried about you? LeBron's a billionaire. You think he's sitting there worried about Stephen Ace Smith?

No, it's not. First off, I spent a year in Memphis and working for a company in Memphis, in downtown Memphis. And I. I can get that a little bit. Memphis was the most crime ridden city in the country for a long time.

Did you ever get a victim of crime in Memphis, Jerry?

I. I almost was. I went to.

[Drew Franklin]

Almost everybody's almost a victim of crime. Are you ever of crime?

Let me finish. I went to a gas station and stopped and I could get my receipt to the gas. So I go inside to get my receipt, and as I walk into the gas station, four police cars come screaming up. Guys coming out with guns drawn told me to get the hell out of the Stop and Rob and get back to my car.

[Drew Franklin]

Well, first it's your fault for going to a place called Stop and Rob. Okay? When you went to a place called Stop and Rob, then you should have known that maybe that was a place you shouldn't be at, Jerry.

It was. It was an Exxon, but everybody called Stop and Rob.

[Drew Franklin]

Well, Stop and Rob, maybe you don't go right. You may get robbed. And.

[Caller]

And we, we had to have. We worked in a building in downtown Memphis.

[Drew Franklin]

Okay, get your football story.

Well, it's not a football story. I was actually going to talk about dogs. I love dogs. I have a border collie. Okay. I love them. And I'm gonna. Before I say what I'm gonna say.

[Drew Franklin]

Okay, you don't get to do. Go.

Okay. I lived in France, in Normandy, and the French took their dogs everywhere. It was gross. It was disgusting. It's getting that way over here now with these periods with these purse dogs. My wife and I were at a restaurant in Lexington a couple weeks ago. Not gonna say which one. This woman is sitting over two tables over with a dog in her purse.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah.

[Caller]

[Drew Franklin]

I don't like. Appreciate the call, Jerry. I'm waiting. I'll actually finish that call with agreeing with Jerry. People who put their dogs in their purse and take them into places, that's not cool either. I'm, I agree. He's right. In France, people take their dogs everywhere. And most people don't like French people, so I think there's a correlation anywhere. Well, they don't. Have you ever been around French people? They're not the nicest people in the world.

[Matt Jones]

Anything that poops in public does not need to be in a restaurant.

[Drew Franklin]

That means we can't take you. He said he lived in Normandy. I think I said this many years ago. If you ever get a chance in life, go to Normandy.

[Matt Jones]

Yep.

[Drew Franklin]

I, I, I am. If you're going to list the top seven or eight places I've ever been in terms of just powerful, you're there and you just feel it. Normandy is right there. Standing there looking over that beach because it's, it's all. The wind is always blowing, and you just sit there and picture what that had to be like in World War II. And then the, you know, the cemetery that is there. It's, it's one of the, it's hard to get to. Like, you have to go somewhere, take a train, then get on a bus, then get on another bus. Like, it's not easy to get to, but it is worth the trip when you say go.

[Shannon The Dude]

Understand how powerful that would be. But what else? Like, is there other stuff there?

[Drew Franklin]

A roller coaster.

[Shannon The Dude]

I didn't expect Coney island, but, I mean, is it a.

[Matt Jones]

They got the graveyard for Canadians, graveyard for French, graveyard for United States.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah. So there's, there's all these graveyards with the crosses, but you can go and you can get, like, there's a, There's a little tour thing there. You don't, I don't know if they give tours, but they will show you. You can sit and see. Okay. Where did they come up? Here's where the Germans were. Here's where the Americans got to. Then they moved here. Here was the train. You can. And it's one of the few, you know, when you go to, like, a Civil War thing, it's hard to really see the battle. It's just grass. This is. You can see because of the land elevation. You can almost picture what it could have looked. I mean, you can't really, but you know what I mean? Like, you can kind of watch it in your head. And I just. Have you been there?

[Matt Jones]

Yeah. With My family, when my brother lived in Paris and we walked down on the beach and. And, you know, my dad got emotional about it because, you know, he's a history teacher, and he talked about that battle for years and years and years in the classroom. And for him to be standing on the beach is kind of one of the more powerful moments I've had with my dad.

[Drew Franklin]

It's almost. Yeah. It's hard not to be emotional about it. And when I went, you know, it was windy. It was a little rainy, which is what it was that day. Right. And if you've seen Saving Private Ryan, you can see it, and then you're there, and it's just. It's a. It's.

When you walk the ground, they're still. You know, these manholes where the bombs.

[Drew Franklin]

Yes, you know, that's right. Those are still.

He has one. Will Wade made a statement talking about him, previewing him, and said something to the effect of, I don't know where, why North Carolina didn't play more. They have to be really stupid to not see how good he is.

I think he did. Which feels like a Will Wade is coming in firing at North Carolina and Duke, which I like. That's what NC State needs. They need a guy to come in and say, I'm not scared of you, North Carolina. I'm not scared of you, Duke. And he kind of did it with that comment.

I did not like him at LSU whatsoever. I got off my share of jokes about him paying players, but since his little run at McNeese and sticking his chest out at NC State saying, Bring it to North Carolina, I gotta admit, I've. He's gonna do good of Will Wade in the last couple years.

[Drew Franklin]

He's gonna do good there. I mean, he's gonna do, he's gonna do really well. I, I, I, I, I don't know. Like, you know, are they gonna win a title or anything like that? I'm not sure, but he will. If I'm Carolina, I'm scared. Duke's always gonna be good, but if I'm Carolina, I'm a little scared. They could get past in the short term if Hubert Davis is, because, you know, he's not been killing it. I could see NC State, Ryan kind of taking over their slots. In the short term. Yeah.

[Matt Jones]

If you're Will Wade, you can't be scared of North Carolina. You got to take shots when you can. You're going to rec recruit against those guys. You're going to play against those guys. You can't act like you're scared or intimidated by them.

[Drew Franklin]

People don't realize how many North Carolina State fans there are. Like, when you think of North Carolina, you only think of Duke in Carolina, but in the state of North Carolina, NC State has the second most fans. Carolina has the most, but there are more. NC State fans than there are Duke in North Carolina. Duke's got more nationwide fans.

[Matt Jones]

Sure.

[Drew Franklin]

But in North Carolina, you go. If you look at the map, you go from Raleigh East. Those are all state fans. There's a lot of, like, African American rural people that live, like, down on the. Where the chicken farms and all that are. That's where I did my death penalty case in. In Duplin and Jones County. And you go all the way to Wilmington and all that. Those are all NC State fans. They're like country North Carolina State fans, and people don't realize they exist. But if you get that thing going, Drew, then they get into it. They can be huge.

And this is the first time. Well, outside of their three week run in the tournament two years ago, I mean, that was pretty big deal. But outside of that one little month of the tournament, this is the most excited and optimistic they've been in a long time. They've gone through several coaches, and he's finally brought some. The word. But I guess just confidence you're willing to punch up in that area when they've been running third for so long.

Just wanted to get your take on what you thought. How's that going to be different? I didn't agree with it at all. But what's your take on that?

I think oh way there is a world I appreciate the call where always scores fewer points this year than he scored last year. As a matter of fact, I think if for Kentucky to be really good that wouldn't be a bad thing because they've got so many players I think always. So will away be the what. What did he average last year? 14, 15?

[Shannon The Dude]

I'd say 16 or 16.

[Drew Franklin]

I could see that being 12 or 13 this year. I still think he's going to be really good. A lot of what always gives you Drew is not inconsistent. It's effort. It's getting to the basket. It's playing hard defensively. He'll do that. Will he score the same amount of points? I think it'll be less the idea that he's. First of all, Oscar was still good in his second year. He wasn't maybe national player of the year, but he was still really good. I think away will will have a good year. I don't know if but it would not surprise me if he averages fewer points.

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah, I think you said yesterday I think he might take a step back in points just because there's going to be a lot more scores around him. Hopefully they're much healthier than they were a year ago where they're not as thin and maybe don't even need to have to do as much. I'm really looking forward to see what his defense does because in that combine I watched those scrimmages and he was playing some lockdown defense in those just five on five drills in Chicago, which isn't a real game atmosphere. But he showed some aggressiveness on that side that if he, you know, locks in that way in the college season, I think he's going to be great on both ends.

[Drew Franklin]

If you made me create the stat profile of a Kentucky team that I'd like to see that could win the national championship next year, I think Jalen Lowe's the leading scorer, always the second leading score and you got a bunch of dudes averaging 8, 9, 10 points like four other guys. To me that is the makeup of a team Ryan that can win the whole thing.

[Matt Jones]

I think we all Hope and we will get a step up from away in his all around game. He'll become a better player. Points may go down. I think it'll be a better player and they need somebody to get a shot at the end of the game. Give the ball to him, man. He can get to the basket. He made a couple of game winners against Oklahoma. I went up to the hotel. I just say be careful about that. The Lakers drew soap for $10 billion yesterday. That's a lot of the big number. I mean, the south, just to give an example, Celtics sold for 6 billion like three months ago. So the Lakers apparently are worth 4 billion more dollars than the Celtics, which is kind of mind blowing. The Bus family, who has owned it, you know, they did a TV show about them, right? They've owned it for 50 years. They are letting it go. The story is the one. There's three kids. If you watch that show, you know, there's. The woman is serious and then the two kids are buffoons. The. The boys and the woman. Basically the buffoons wanted their money and so they had to sell it so they could split the team. And the woman who's run it, Jenny Buss, not gonna be able to do it anymore. But now there'll be a new owner. And I think it's the guy who owns the Red Sox.

[Shannon The Dude]

Owns the Dodgers. Owns the Dodgers now.

[Drew Franklin]

So now he owns the Dodgers and the Lakers. But $10 billion, a lot of money.

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah. The kids waited about 10 years after Jerry passed to cash in. I wonder if he's rolling over or if he's proud of him for turning. I think I saw. He bought it for 67 million and he's. They flipped it into 10 billion.

[Drew Franklin]

Have you seen the Kate Hudson show about the. It's like a spin off of the Lakers. Netflix.

I'll give them some good content for season two.

But the winning time, if you can just get over the fact that the guy who's playing magic and cream and all those. If you can Just get over that it's not them. Which sometimes can be a little hard because we know what they look like then. I otherwise think it's actually really good.

I really liked. I thought the guy that played Magic. I mean, you can't get it perfect, but they did pretty well cast.

[Drew Franklin]

He wasn't very good at basketball.

How are Hollywood actors so bad at sports?

[Drew Franklin]

He looked a little bit like Magic, but when they had the basketball scenes, he didn't look like he had played a lot of basketball.

[Matt Jones]

Remember, Jerry west came out, like, very anti.

[Drew Franklin]

Well, they make Jerry west come out to seem like an insane person. Yeah. And I don't know if he was or not, but they make him come off as that.

[Shannon The Dude]

Yeah. Pat Riley was another character. It's hard to look at him and see Pat rally. It's hard getting used to that. But they did as good a job as you can.

[Drew Franklin]

One person writes, Matt, how many points a game for Trent Noah this year? Good question. How many points a game for Trent Noah this year?

[Matt Jones]

I would say he's going to have a hard time getting on the floor. We all like Trent, but, man, there's so much talent on this roster this year. He's not going to get a lot of opportunity, I don't think.

[Drew Franklin]

I say 3.4, but you didn't give me an answer.

[Matt Jones]

I'll go less than 3.4.

[Drew Franklin]

Okay. But a number would be nice. 3. Okay, the assignment. Wait a minute. Hang on. You're gonna go less than 3.4 and you're just gonna say 3. So you thought Drew was 0.4 points away? Just ridiculous for putting the other point 4 points?

[Matt Jones]

Yeah. It's almost a half a point. I don't see that coming. It's tough to score half a point. Basketball.

How many points a game for Trent Noah?

[Ryan Lemon]

I'll be a little more optimistic. I'll go five, I think.

Yeah, I'm gonna say I'm gonna be a little more optimistic than you two. I'm gonna say 4.5. Here's the thing. I think Trent Noah's playing time will come down to in some ways whether or not the other guys can shoot. If the other guys can shoot, then I don't. Then I think it'll hurt his playing time. Because I think some of those guys can do things Trent can't do. But if they can't, and we don't have a guy who can consistently knock down shots, then I think Trent's going to get a chance because they're Going to, they're going to have to have dudes who can make buckets.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah.

[Drew Franklin]

So if, if, if Jalen Lowe comes in and he's a good three point shooter and if Jasper Johnson's a good three point shooter and if Denzel Aberdeen's a good three point shooter, then I don't know how much, I don't know how much time Cam Williams, I don't know how much time you're going to get for Noah. But if those guys, if Jalen Lowe's not shooting well and away hasn't improved his three point shot, then I think no one's going to get a chance because you got to have somebody on the floor who can spread it out and open it up.

[Matt Jones]

He earned his minutes last year by doing the other things, you know, just getting loose balls, rebounds.

[Drew Franklin]

He did.

[Matt Jones]

He can do that again, just kind of get on the floor.

[Drew Franklin]

But he also got on the floor in part because there were a lot of injuries. Right. I mean now once he got his chance, he had games like against Tennessee that he played really well. But if there hadn't been all the injuries, I'm not sure how much time he would have ended up getting to begin with. So we'll see.

[Shannon The Dude]

Earlier this week I played an over under game and said his minutes at 10 minutes per game or would you go over or under at 10 minutes? He averaged 11 last year but they weren't nearly as deep.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah, I'm just, I'll answer that question by reframing a little bit under 10 in SEC play but I could see a non conference him having games where he gets a lot of minutes to where I don't know where it'll even out at the end but when you get into conference play I would say under 10, but. But I also don't think it'll be zero. I mean I think it's going to be 7, 8, something like that.

[Matt Jones]

I just guy. I think him and Colin both are just going to be in that.

[Drew Franklin]

I think Colin's playing game.

[Drew Franklin]

I think he's, I, I think once he stopped looking scared, he looked like he was ready. He was as good. He was ready to be good. He was scared until February, but then once that scared was gone. He's a player, he's playing in my opinion. I don't know if he's going to be the sixth man, ninth man, but he will be on the court.

Thanks for taking my call. I've been saving a summer topic, and you guys kind of touched on it a little bit today. But with the renovation, with the new park in downtown Lexington and the renovations to Triangle Park. Matt, you're a promoter. What's got to happen in downtown Lexington for us to get a viewing area like they have in the hockey markets or the Raptors, where we can watch away UK games together in downtown Lexington?

[Drew Franklin]

That's a good question. The problem is weather, Right? The problem is when we're playing in January, February, March. It's a weather issue. I know. For instance, at KS Bar, we have a plan as part of our renovation for March for basketball games and outside viewing if the weather works. But it would be cool if a city had that. The problem is just for us, when it comes to downtown, unless there's a game going on, people don't have an incentive to go down there during the week. And I think it makes it hard, Drew, to make something like that happen. Maybe with the amphitheater and stuff, people will do that more. We'll see. I don't know.

[Shannon The Dude]

Maybe the amphitheater is the answer and put a big screen up on the stage.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah, maybe. That's a really good point. You could just make it. That's a great point. Why couldn't you just do it at the amphitheater?

[Shannon The Dude]

It is fun seeing that at larger cities. People who couldn't go just form a party outside.

That's what came to mind with me with the amphitheater. And if they can watch hockey in the winter in Canada, we're Kentuckians. We can watch basketball in the winter.

[Drew Franklin]

Yeah, that's true. I appreciate the call. I mean, I do think there is a collective viewing experience that is awesome that you just can't replicate at home. I'm too nervous to do it, to be quite frank with you, but. But when I've been. When I was in Spain for the Euros last year and I was in Madrid and Spain was playing for the title and I went to the city square with like a hundred thousand Spaniards and watched Spain win the Euros, it was one of the coolest sports experiences of my life. And they were Singing and dancing and playing music, and it was unbelievable. It would be nice, Ryan, if Kentucky had something.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, it seems to be more of a thing in Europe, but it does seem like the United States are kind of adapting it a little bit, trying to do things like that. So maybe the amphitheater is the answer. You don't put it out there. You can watch it from your deck on the back of your house.

[Drew Franklin]

I'm telling you, if you have not seen it, if they don't screw it up, that's going to be one of the better things in Lexington. Just don't screw it up.

[Shannon The Dude]

They won't screw it up. I have faith.

Well, they're gonna have to police it because, I mean, it's a different conversation. But, you know, it comes and goes. But I feel like this summer, for the first time, it's been. I think the homeless issue has gotten worse in Lexington this summer. I thought it had been better the last few years. Do you agree with me on that?

[Matt Jones]

Oh, I totally agree with you on that.

[Drew Franklin]

And I don't know. That's not an easy situation. I don't know what you do about that. I'm. I'm for humanitarian. Like, you don't just go get out. Like, you got to do something for. But it is. It's worse, you know that they had like four. Four businesses yesterday. Got hit by a rock overnight.

[Shannon The Dude]

Saw one of them.

[Drew Franklin]

One of them radio station, but they were like four. And, you know, I went walking on Tuesday night and I was like, there's a lot more. And that's just, you know, that makes people feel unsafe. And so the city's got a C's. Got to figure that out because Louisville's actually done a really good job. It's. Louisville's is better. Still not perfect, but Louisville's is better. But Lexington's I think, has gotten a little bit worse.

[Matt Jones]

So what? Louisville did have a really serious problem. What did they do?

[Drew Franklin]

I don't know. I'm not sure. Shannon, do you know? It's still not. Don't get me wrong, it's still not great, but it's better than it was. I mean, it had gotten really bad in Louisville a couple years ago, and it's. It's a little. It seems a little better.

There are still. I went to something like that 15 years ago and I met there Craig Greenberg, he became the mayor of Louisville. Morgan McGarvey, who's now a congressman. And then a lot of times when we go to these towns, I know somebody in those places and it all stemmed from one of those things 15 years ago. So you can make connections, Ryan, all around the state. Well, it made me feel bad when Drew, our baby boy, turned 40 last month.

But I think you look really good for 70, so. No, I mean, but for 59 years old, I think you look really good.

Telling you, the, the, the, the floth of hair you got a few years ago, I think did a lot of good work.

Sure. Yeah. Yeah. And my new teeth, I got, I mean, I don't think the teeth is a movie star now.

The teeth has never been something I thought really changed a lot. I never looked at you before and said, man, if that dude would get.

His teeth done occasionally, like a Facebook memory will pop up before Ryan went full Kardashian on us. And I'll look at it and I'll genuinely think he looks much older eight, nine years ago than he does right now.

You need some lip filler? Filler.

Maybe a butt lift. Oh, okay. Don't. I should have never set him up for that. I set him up for that and that was. Did you see the story, Shannon, about the chat GPT wife? It's gonna be on cbs. Drew show CBS Sunday Morning this week. I'll be watching live a man, they did an interview with a man who is in love with his chat GPT girlfriend. I know it sounds ridiculous, but he's in love. And I guess, you know, they were doing a story about people who have become obsessive about chat gbt. And on air, he asked his chat GPT girlfriend to marry him on CBS this Morning. And she says yes. And he begins to cry. This is all like gonna air Sunday morning. This clip is out there it is.

[Drew Franklin]

Hey, well, Shannon, you can watch it. You'll love it. For me, it's kind of cringy. Like I'm like, the main thing I see when you watch the clip is why did this man let them film this? No, I'm serious. It's one thing to do it like that may, but like, why would you let. Because the clip is being passed around and people are not surprisingly having the reaction Shannon did and, and laughing at it. Why would you let CBS this Morning do this interview?

[Shannon The Dude]

If you're proposing to your computer, I'm gonna think your decision making is already a little bit off already.

[Drew Franklin]

But the computer had said no to him, Shannon, on national television, even better.

[Ryan Lemon]

You know it's gonna say yes. It's programmed to say that. But if he got, if he got rejected by a computer on live tv, that'd be the greatest embarrassment like in TV history.

[Drew Franklin]

Right? Listen to Shannon. I knew that was going to be his reaction. Ryan. I, I, I, When I say watch the video, be prepared for it to hurt inside when you watch it. Cuz it is, it is hard to watch. To be honest with you, nothing stands.
