That's not the official term, but that's kind of what it is. And one big topic, which I don't know if we'll do an hour one or hour two, but it's tiny topic day. Had to read the Little Prince last night. Felt like I was a child doing a play or. No, it's like a. It's like a little. It's called the Little Prince. It's like a little book. What are you laughing at?

And I went down a rabbit hole. I didn't know. Which is. Do you know that one of our former UK basketball players, Drew, knows this? Mario, did you know about this, about the world that one of our players is in? The one on one world? Yeah. So I didn't know. This tells you we all live in our separate media universes. Did you know there's a one on one championship belt?

I absolutely did. Not know this.

Ball is life. First of all, Shannon, Ball is life. It is life is ball.

They play an amount of time. They play a first half and second half, but it's. It's a long game and he challenges people and it's a whole thing. Ball is life. One on one. And it's like the WWE, Shannon. They have like 10 matches.

Can they punch each other?

Not a tournament. Well, you're getting to what happens. Okay. So his claim is even though he does not play in Europe or in the NBA, his claim is I don't care, I'm the champ. And he beats all comers. So they just, you know, NBA players are not going to play the guy. Right. Archie Goodwin challenges him for the belt.

[Ryan]

Archie.

[Matt Jones]

Archie. Good one. All right. And this is all online. You can watch this. Archie Goodwin challenges him for the belt. And Archie's point is. I play real basketball in Europe. You stink. Am I right about this so far?

[Justin]

He had just beaten Gerald Green before Archie. So he has taken some NBA guys.

[Matt Jones]

He had taken NBA. So Archie's like. Apparently Archie is king of Europe or wherever he plays. Where does he play?

[Justin]

I'm not sure the exact has.

[Matt Jones]

I get the sense Archie has a lot of street cred.

[Justin]

He does. He's still really good. He'll be one of the best players in tbt.

[Matt Jones]

Archie has a lot of street cred. So Duran again, Marcus Teague is on this podcast with Jet with his brother. And all this Marcus takes kind of become a star.

[Justin]

Yes.

[Matt Jones]

They call him Mooc.

[Justin]

Yeah. With my boy be hen on 520.

That's right. So Marcus Teague and Duron Lamb are pumping up Archie Goodwin. First of all, I'm happy to see why does it make me so happy that the Kentucky guys over the years like each.

Yeah. And those guys didn't play together or not at least with Archie.

But doesn't make you happy.

Like Marcus T. Was on that club 5:20 arguing about how Terrence Jones was better than. I like that, Ryan. When I see our guys taken up for each other.

We're one big happy family and we want them to feel part of our family.

And a lot of them do Except Bam and Tyler. Hero.

That's true.

They don't necessarily feel like it.

[Ryan]

No.

All right, so this is all a setup to say Archie plays this kid and Archie's up 17 to 7 at halftime. But then the kid starts fouling every play. He ends up beating Archie and Archie's mad. And now Archie's putting up a hundred thousand dollars of his own money to play him again.

[Ryan]

Oh, my goodness. Wow.

[Matt Jones]

And this conversation, if you start scrolling online, Marcus Teague and Duron Lamb have strong feelings about it. Terrence Jones has weighed in and Archie Goodwin's gonna be playing this kid again for a hundred thousand of his own money. And this, there's this whole debate about is one on one real basketball. And Drew, I was completely engulfed in it last night.

This core guy, he's big on the big three. One of the leading scores, and he has taken down everyone that plays him

Archie seems to want to stab him.

There's a lot of trash talk. Did you see the Vegas club after beat Archie? They had the sign in the club said bottles on Archie tonight. And they're celebrating. Cause he had just taken down Archie in Vegas. I mean, he.

I mean, you didn't know any of this was happening?

[Ryan]

No idea.

[Matt Jones]

Archie in the street ball. Tick tock world. Archie's all the conversation right now because Archie is claiming you foul all the time. I play organized basketball and you just foul. And I watch this video where Marcus Teague is like telling Archie you gotta foul him every time. Next time, hit him in the head. So they're going to. Someone's going to get hurt.

[Justin]

You see why the guy had never made it. And I mean, I think he played at Florida A and M. Never had a shot in the pros. He plays. That's very street ball. And if you've been playing organized basketball, your body's just. You're not ready to go hack everybody every time. But he gets away with it because that's his style.

[Matt Jones]

And I found myself like taken up for Archie.

[Justin]

Yeah, you see him shove him after he scored. Like, it's almost like they're about to fight.

[Matt Jones]

If you get some time tonight, go watch Archie in his street ball, whatever. And you're going to find yourself. You thought Archie took too many shots in our games. Go watch the other guy when they Play one on one. So they're going to have a rematch for the one on one belt. And I'm all in on Archie.

Well, so I still don't understand. He had 17 to 7 and then why the guy kept fouling. How did that get him back in the game?

[Matt Jones]

Because you call your own fouls in this.

Yeah, well, I think there's a rep, but it's just street ball. They let him get away with.

They let him get away with everything.

[Shannon]

He's punching by the fade. That wasn't a foul. And then just take.

And he wasn't used to it. So anyway, this is, I'm just telling you, our Kentucky guys, even the ones not in the NBA, they're still running it all. Which brings me to the second point. You, you know, it's always me involved in controversy.

Drew was in one this morning. You were blocked on the street right

in front of McCarthy's two delivery trucks. You know, that's a narrow, little, barely a two lane there for anyone that knows Lexington. There's two delivery trucks just blocking traffic. I'm going to be here in plenty of time, but I'm now stuck.

[Matt Jones]

It's a short little road, so they had parked on either side. No one could get through.

[Justin]

And it's a two lane. You couldn't go anywhere. First of all, I like Lexington's finest. There was a police offer in front of me. He u turned when he saw it. Didn't even bother to do anything about it.

[Matt Jones]

My name's Bennett and I should have

[Justin]

known when he u turned. I had the chance, but I got caught in it. And I have to shout out this woman, I don't know her name, she was the first car behind them. She got out and threatened to move these big trucks by herself. Then she walked into McCarthy's and basically drugged the driver out and made him move his truck. So I got here just in time.

[Matt Jones]

I have noticed a rise in truck driver slash big car owner thinking everyone should just wait for them.

[Justin]

This is a busy spot downtown.

[Matt Jones]

Busy spot. Those trucks, they had to know they were blocking the street.

[Kevin]

Yeah.

[Justin]

There was no. You couldn't barely get a motorcycle through it. It was tiny.

[Matt Jones]

So then in this garage. I hate cyber trucks. Shannon cap them. Have hated them from moment one. They are the ugliest.

[Shannon]

Yeah.

Can you name an uglier car in the history of mankind?

[Shannon]

No. They look like grand theft auto cars from PlayStation 1.

[Matt Jones]

They look like if you asked a six year old what would be the coolest car to have design that?

[Kevin]

Yes.

They'd be like, look like a spaceship. I hate them so much. And I also hate. And I have a friend that has them. And you know, man, I love you, but that truck is ridiculous.

[Kevin]

I know.

[Justin]

A friend has one too.

They're ridiculous. And today, Cyber truck Joe there was blocking the parking lot. So I'm just. I'm sure he's a sweet old man, but this old man's trying to get out of the truck. You know how ridiculous it looks to see him try to get out of this spaceship?

Oh, it's an old man in it.

It's usually he was like a passenger.

[Justin]

Okay.

And they. They stopped the garage for 10 minutes,

and he had a stack of papers.

[Matt Jones]

He had a stack of papers. He dropped them on the ground. Then they start blowing in the air like a movie. And I'm like. I finally was like, hey, Cybertruck McGee, pull forward.

[Ryan]

This is right inside the front gate, too, where nobody could get into the parking lot.

[Matt Jones]

If it was like a Ford F150. Is that what their trucks are?

[Ryan]

Those are big trucks.

[Matt Jones]

What's the 150 stand for?

[Justin]

The 350 is the big one 153 50.

[Matt Jones]

What's that number stand?

[Justin]

I don't know what the exact number means.

[Ryan]

Sure, let's go with that.

[Matt Jones]

Whatever it is. If it was that, I probably wouldn't say anything because people In a Ford 350 will shoot you. But a cyber truck? Those are dorks, Shannon, that want to feel like. Like a badass.

[Shannon]

Yep. You're spending an absurd amount of money.

[Matt Jones]

The whole thing. And he was like, oh, yeah, you know, man, I'm just in my cyber truck. Everybody chill.

[Justin]

Is there a level of entitlement to having a cyber truck?

[Shannon]

Yes. You're not gonna hurt those things.

[Matt Jones]

Let me ask you, what car do you see where you are most confident? I'm not gonna like the person driving there?

[Shannon]

The little mini cars, those little tiny cars.

[Matt Jones]

Oh, you're talking about the little.

[Shannon]

Little tiny micro machine cars.

[Justin]

Oh, you're not gonna like.

[Shannon]

No, I'm talking the little tiny smart car. I know.

[Matt Jones]

Why don't you think you'll like those?

[Shannon]

I just don't like, get a real car, man. You're not even really in a car. I mean, that should be illegal. It's like a go for me.

[Matt Jones]

It's always a cyber. If I see a cybertruck, I'm like. Except I like one of the guys that has one in this building. All right, so besides you.

[Justin]

I see it all the time down there.

[Matt Jones]

Besides, you I know I'm not going to like you.

[Justin]

Top of my list right now are delivery truck drivers who think they can just block a downtown street.

[Matt Jones]

Do you have one, Ryan, that you see the car and you're like, I'm not going to like that person.

[Ryan]

It's the cybertrucks. It is automatic. No doubt. And when I saw that guy blocking traffic today, I did. You must have got through. And he backed out again because he blocked me when I came out.

[Matt Jones]

You got to let me through. I got a radio show and the poor old guy's dropping papers.

[Ryan]

His stack of papers was like pouring on his head. There was another guy got out and then there was one guy.

[Matt Jones]

It was like a clown car of old men trying to get out of.

[Justin]

It was all cars. I will say I am jealous of the self driving when people are just on their computers and yeah, I would like that.

[Matt Jones]

So you would like to have a car that you wouldn't be nervous riding around a car?

[Justin]

I could be productive. I can work from the car.

[Matt Jones]

Yeah, I couldn't. And that might be an age thing, but I would be sitting there going, okay, this is not the way I would go.

[Justin]

I would not even think about the car moving. Like when we have the show in Louisville, I usually have to get up a little earlier and do my blog post early. I just get in the car, ride it on my way to the blog.

[Matt Jones]

On the way.

Wouldn't even think about the car moving.

Illegal.

[Justin]

I know, but I'm jealous of it because it's possible.

[Matt Jones]

But that's just like a normal electric car, right? It's not. They don't have cybertrucks that drive themselves, do they?

I think Tesla's.

Do you need to get the back of a Waymo? It sounds like.

[Matt Jones]

No, no. We've had these conversations and I keep seeing waymos are killing people left and right out west.

[Shannon]

I mean it's like every 10 cars

[Matt Jones]

I know and I hate them, but I'd rather give me 100 Waymos over a Cybertruck.
