There's a quote in a new book I'm reading, The Alchemist, that says — “People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want.”When I first read that, it stopped me for a second. Because really, that’s what so much of life comes down to — trusting yourself enough to handle whatever comes next.We actually asked ChatGPT what that quote meant, and it explained it perfectly: it’s about self-trust and capability replacing the fear of uncertainty. And honestly, that hit home. Because so often, fear of the unknown is what keeps us from moving forward — not lack of ability, just lack of belief in our ability.Reading The Alchemist has been a reminder that we don’t need all the answers to move forward. We just need to believe that we can figure it out along the way. And when you think about it, that’s true for everything — starting something new, chasing a goal, or even taking care of ourselves better.I’ve realized that sometimes I hold myself back because I’m afraid of not getting it right — of trying something new and failing, or not being perfect at it right away. But perfection isn’t the goal. Progress is.This year, I’m focusing on small wins — breaking my goals into achievable steps, celebrating little moments, and building confidence through action. It’s about investing in myself, trusting my own process, and remembering that capability grows when we actually do the thing we’re afraid of.So if you’re listening to this and feeling unsure about what’s next — you don’t need to fear the unknown. Just trust that you’ll be able to handle it when it comes.✨ You don’t have to know everything ahead of time. You just have to trust yourself enough to begin. If this episode resonated with you, follow me on Instagram at @kyliemojaddidi or on TikTok (same handle) for more reflections like this.”And quick PSA before I go — new episodes will now drop every Wednesday at 9am PT, so make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss what’s coming next.Until then, trust yourself, start small, and keep moving forward. 💛
