Send us Fan MailIn part two of this three-part series for single moms, I focus on "time and balance" and give examples of how we can invest some of our time into certain things to figure out a system - and save time in the long run. We talk time SAVERS and how to structure work at home vs errands outside of the home. Ultimately, this episode is about, "How do we organize to make our life easier?" while still making time for the things we enjoy. Support the show

Send us Fan MailSometimes our mind gets tripped up when we try to convert our "physical" life over to digital. In this episode, I give a few tips on how to make that transition smoother, as well as how to organize your time while doing it.Support the show

Send us Fan MailHow many times do you outsource something then say, "It shouldn't take you that long"? Do you actually know how much time it will take for someone to do it the "correct" way? If not, if this 10-Min task is for you. The goal here is to bridge the gap between expectation and result, and I think it will help many of you look at the bigger picture and feel good about some of the projects you haven't found a solution to... yet.Support the show

Send us Fan MailI've been wanting to do a series like this for a very long time, and with this episode, I'm starting it. I am a single mom - an organized single mom at that - and even though I organize for a living, it still took a lot of trial and error to get my own life manageable, especially in the beginning. In this Introduction, I will talk post-partum to perimenopause, juggling everything on your own... Which is WHY I also included the moms who maybe aren't single, but they sure feel like it. In the three-part series that follows, we will talk organizing... food, clothes, money, schedules, stress and health - for starters - then try to paint a realistic picture of what it would look like to be a single mom who IS organized, and has everything in her life structured to where it benefits her and her child(ren), because that is what's most important, when you come out on the other side.Support the show

Send us Fan MailIf you've been listening to this podcast for a while, you may have gotten so good at getting rid of stuff that now you have too many... organizers. But Sara, you say, isn't it a better problem to have that there are now empty organizers for future projects? The answer is... sometimes. Listen on to see when it's OK to keep organizers, and when they are simply just in the way.Support the show

Send us Fan MailThis all started when we went on Spring Break, earlier this year. I decided to pop into my favorite Container Store location, while we were in Alpharetta, GA, and caught of a glimpse of a set of toothpaste tubes - one black and one white. I purchased them and decided to wait until I got home to fill them - for the NEXT trip. This lead me down an interesting path - one that I wanted to share with all of you. And, now that my new "Clean Travels" blog and podcast is preparing to launch, I thought this review would make a great crossover episode. Please let me know what you think! Send us Fan MailSometimes you look at a pile of items and try to figure out what you're going to keep, and what you're going to give away. For today's 10-minute task, you're going to do something new: Choose A or B. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find yourself making quicker - BETTER - decisions on the fly. For now, let's just focus on just two things though: listening to this episode, and... choosing between two things. [Smiley face lol]Support the show
