Welcome back to the Law of Attraction Secrets podcast. I'm your host, Natasha Graziano. Today we have an amazing guest. One of my favorite friends. She's actually one of my personal good friends. She's one of my mommy friends that we get to do mummy things with and we get to hang out. She's someone who I know you're going to learn so much from. Not only is she influencer of the year, she's also founder of Bodhi Girl. Welcome to the show. How are you? This is Koree Green. We love it. I'm so happy to have you here. You look incredible. Thank you. You are, like, glowing. O.
B
Well, you know, mommy stuff.
A
I know.
B
It's the prenatals. It's the mommy hormones.
A
It's viral. Did you ever think that you were gonna have a baby? Like, because you were someone who was, like, super public online doing amazing things, you know, you and your man, like, he's an ex NFL player. Like, you guys have this really amazing public relationship and everyone admires you, but then suddenly it was like, whoa, baby. And that is, to me and you, biggest blessing ever. But did you know that was gonna change your life?
B
So we had always discussed, like, honestly, when I met him, he was like, I'm gonna marry you and you're gonna have my babies. So it was always that we were gonna have kids. Just the timing was not exactly planned, but, you know, I feel like God's timing is whatever it's supposed to be. Like, you can't really try to. What's it called? You can't try to, like, schedule out your life because at the end of the day, life is just happening and you never know what's gonna happen. Covid was the biggest example to me of that, of, like, no matter what you have planned, like, things just happen in life and you just gotta roll with the punches.
A
Wow, this is incredible. How has your beautiful daughter changed your life?
B
Oh, my God. She's changed everything for the better. She has made me more focused. She has made me honestly such a better woman. Because every day, it's not just about, like, who I want to be. It's about they. You lead by example. So what example do I want her to follow? What habits do I want her to have? What? Where do I want her to keep her boundaries? And what type of woman do I want her to become? And I try to embody that woman every single day so that it's not just me giving this example to her of something that I don't want her to be, you know?
A
Sure. What values are you implementing from now? I know she's tiny, and, like, our little babies play together. It's so gorgeous. But how are you implementing those values? Like, are you doing practices with her? Because you're super spiritual. You do yoga and meditation and full moon retreats and all these amazing things, which, by the way, y'all can go join. We'll put some links below. But what do you do to help your baby at this point? Know these values.
B
So I honestly believe, like, it started when she was even in my stomach, because I do my monthly wellness days. It was sound baths, breath work. Like, deep tissue massages, acupuncture, lymphatic drainage. Like, these are all the ways that I already cultivated this, like, wellness environment that she's born into. And now she's at the sound baths. Now she is not doing the breath work because obviously, she's too young. She doesn't get it. But she's just. I keep her everywhere with me. Every morning. We wake up, we do a little sound bowl, we do a little meditation. She, like, watches me do yoga. I'll, like, do down dog right over her head, laying on the mat. Like, I just try to incorporate her into everything that I'm doing so that she sees it all the time. Like, I'm going on a run, okay? Like, I'm pushing her in the stroller on the run. She's watching mommy run. And, like, even though these are not things that she'll. She'll, like, actually remember when she's older, it's the things that are shaping her right now and the things that will just be normalized to her.
A
I just think it's amazing. Like, I'm a mama, too, but you take it to a whole other level. Like, we have our little group, and you're like, whenever there's. It's so beautiful. Like, whenever there's a question, it's like, you'll send us things. What's it? And, like, I was already a mom before I had my daughter, but it was like, you've given me the best mommy advice ever. Like, I literally don't know why I would have done without you. You're like, you try this, babe. Try this. Use this. And I'm like, you're so active with her, which is so beautiful to see because it's. It's hard in today's world. Like, how do you actually balance work and mommy life, family?
B
Honestly, like, I'm really grateful that my career lends itself to being a mom that works from home. So I don't really have to make that choice. However, that comes with its own challenges of, like, when do I put down the baby and pick up the laptop? And that's definitely been something that I've had to balance and figure out over the past nine months since I had her. Is like, okay, let me put her down and let her, like, do her tummy time or let her play with her toys and use her imagination. This is not time that I'm not spending with her. That's something she needs to do. She needs to learn how to. Oh, she's. In fact, she's looking at this toy and she's learning it or she's trying to figure out how to crawl. Like, she needs to learn how to be on her own as well. So that's the time that I'm like, sitting there on my laptop working on an e book or like, reaching out to brands or catching up on emails. But it was definitely, like, a lot harder in the beginning. And honestly, breastfeeding has been such a gem for, like, being able to work at the same time because I'm like, okay, you're knocked out. Let me get through my emails.
A
Wow, I love it. Okay, you are still breastfeeding. She's nine months old.
B
Yes.
A
Tell me about that. Like, you just, you just keep going.
B
So I want to at least go a year. My mom breastfed me to like a year and a couple months. My sister was almost two years and then my brother, like, stopped himself at 10 months. So I feel like for me personally, I just from research, all the benefits, all the things that are going to improve her gut microbiome, improve her. What's it called when you don't get sick? Her immune system. I'm like, mommy, I literally lose.
A
Yeah, I'm like, I know that word. Yeah.
B
You know what I'm trying to. It's just. Where is it? I'm trying to find it. But I know all the benefits. Like, one of the things is if there's someone that's sick around you, within 20 minutes, your body creates the antibodies that goes into your breast milk that makes your, your kid, like, immune from sickness. So there's just so many benefits that I want to give to her as long as I can. Like, it's definitely a struggle for me, but one of the things I've tried to, like, implement mentally for myself is if something is better for her, but harder for me. Once you have a kid, if it's better for her, I need to do that. Like, yes, it would be way easier for, like, me living out my life and like running around and doing stuff. To have her on formula, it'd be way easier. But at the end of the day, like, she, I'm not gonna get to redo this time period. There's gonna be like a whole hundred plus years of her life where she can decide what she's eating and she's eating human food. Like, I have to be responsible for at least that two years. I'm like, my body is her body. And I really didn't realize this when I got pregnant. Like the second you get pregnant until you're done breastfeeding, your body is not your own body. There's still things, supplements I can't take. There's still, I can't intermittent fast because I have to eat three meals a day and 2,500 calories a day or I'm not producing enough breast milk. I have to make sure I'm drinking enough water. It's made me way healthier. But at the same time, I'm like, okay, I already did 9, 10 months of pregnancy where I couldn't do whatever I wanted with my body. Now we're back in this thing of oh for the next year. Also, also for weight loss goals and journey. Like the hormones from breastfeeding make you retain an extra 10 to 15 pounds. Like, there's so many things that it's like you really gotta weigh your options. You gotta weigh what it's doing to your mental health. And I'm like blessed enough that I'm able to produce enough milk and able to breastfeed. So I'm like, if God gave me that gift, why would I go a different way? Why would I do something else?
A

It's fun, funny. You have really cool videos up. Like, you make really cool stuff whenever you come over. We always do really fun tiktoks. Like, I love it. It's so great. And, you know, it's wonderful for upcoming mommies or mommies to be, et cetera, mommies who are already with children. Like, I think it's beautiful for anyone who's on that inspirational journey, you are now that face. I would Say, like, people come to you and that's a beautiful platform to have that you're like an influencer of wellness. I'm Mommy. Like, that's a really powerful. So what are you passionate about?
B
So my passion, obviously there's no way to get around passion having to do with my daughter. Like, there's. Once you become a mom, there's everything else is happening. But like, you're still always, no matter what you're doing, a mom. I'm on the red carpet. They're still asking me questions about like, oh, and you just had a baby. I'm on a podcast. I'm not just talking about my brand, I'm talking about my baby. Like, being a mom is such a platform, but at the same time, I don't want her to grow up watching a mom that just like, was solely dedicated to her, solely dedicated to the family. I want her to watch a woman that still has her own dreams and own passions and own goals and is chasing those and is still a great mom. But, like, okay, mommy has to work today. Like, mommy's working on this goal, on this dream. You can come. But, like, this is. I'm not going to put everything aside for you. I'm not going to not go to the gym because of you. Like, I want you to see a woman that also puts herself first, puts her wellness first, and her mind and her body and her soul. And that is honestly what my platform has been for probably around 2020. Because when I first started building my platform, it was more like, oh my God, how do I get followers? How do I get brand deals? Like, this is crazy. This is a world I've never been in. The more I got into it, I'm like, okay, I have all these followers. Like, what am I influencing people to do? Like, I'm just saying, like, buy a bikini. Like, that's not enough for me. So then I got my 200 hours of vinyasa yoga training and I thought it was just gonna be teaching me how to teach yoga. And what it did really was set me up for my entire life that I went into publicly more. So, like, I was always the like, yoga on my private practice, like, doing stuff, mind, body and soul. Like, that was what I did, but, like, not my platform. So the second I made it my front facing platform, I realized there were so many people that were craving this type of energy and this type of information in the world. And I know because I was one. As I started getting into like my holistic journey, I was researching. So I'm looking for different people into it, different books, different courses, and I just started to make my platform more so. Like, my own reality show and, like, my own platform that I can tell people what I've learned and, like, crash course them and, like, okay, here's a bunch of books that really helped me. There's some that I got because I didn't really like them. They didn't really help me. But just to be able to be authentic on my platform and really show people, like, yes, this is a great day, but I'm also going to show you my bad days. I had a video that went, like, super viral. It was like, two months postpartum. I was going through such bad. Not severe postpartum depression, but just, like, baby blues. I was down. I felt like crap, and it was totally my hormones, and I knew that. But even though I know that I'm picking fights with my man, I'm crying all the time. I'm like, I'm so happy right now because I have this baby. I have this amazing relationship, but I'm so sad. There's got to be other women feeling like this. It can't just be me. And I feel like because of the mom shaming community, a lot of people don't talk about what they go through when it's bad. They're just like, oh, yeah, this was a great day. Oh, this was this. This was that. Like, oh, now she slept through the night, but no one's talking about the sleep deprivation of the sleepless night.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
So I just really try to be a place where women can go and, like, not feel alone and not feel like they're the only one going through something. Because we really are all going through our own version of stress and I don't know. And, like, just really trying to figure out who we are after having these kids. Because it does change you. Like, there's really. I've been saying, like, I'm not snapping back, I'm snapping forward.
A
Yeah.
B
Because I'm not trying to go back to, like, the person that I was before I had her. I just want to implement those things that I liked about that person. Yeah. And catapult them forward and maximize on them.
A
Girl, this is so beautiful. And I always say to people, it's not about who you were before the event, before the baby, or even during. It's who you are after who you want to become. Like, who are you right now? So I have. My book's called be it till you become it.
B
Literally.
A
Literally, like, who are you today? And what I love about you, you're just so inspirational. Like, you show up, you just decide, give me some rituals that you do, like, what's your morning routine? Or if a solo is awake, what would be? Or asleep. You know, give me, like, three things that you would tell someone to do every single day that has helped change your life.
B
So three things that have changed my life is reading. Reading is probably the number one thing that has changed my life because you are constantly inside your own mind. So make it a good place to be. Make it a happy place. Make it a thing that we grow up with people telling us the world telling us all these things constantly. And when you read and you read books that expand your mind and make you think differently, it completely changes your entire life. So definitely reading, moving your body, whether it's a walk, whether it's a hiit class, whether it's yoga, whether it's Pilates, whatever it may be, whether it's just chasing your toddler around outside, like, move your body, get outside. Do something that gets your heart rate going. Do something that makes you feel good about yourself. And then it's not really a specific thing, but pick something every day that challenges you and complete it. Whether it's okay. This whole week, I want to make sure that I'm meditating 15 minutes every morning, or I want to make sure that I'm doing whatever it is I want to cook myself every meal this week. Like, pick a challenge and complete it, because it gives you this sense of purpose and this sense of just, like, improved image of yourself that you're like, okay, I stuck to this thing. Oh, wow. I can do hard things. Like, really put yourself in a challenging position and get yourself out of it. That has changed my life as well. And that's honestly why I love, like, weight training, because you can keep going up in weights and you can keep challenging yourself, and you're like, oh, last month I was only lifting this amount. And look, now I'm lifting that amount. Like, I would have never been able to lift that two months ago. Like, putting a challenge in your life and completing it gives you such a positive outlook on yourself and on your life.
A
That is so beautiful. Okay, so everybody today who is watching, let's pick a challenge. I'm going to sneeze. Oh, no, no, I'm not going to sneeze. Try not to sneeze on the show.
B
No.
A
So everyone pick a challenge. Choose something that you want to stick to today. So whether that's cooking meals every single night for your family, Whether that is going to the gym, lifting heavy weights. It's a little bit like New Year's resolutions. You know what's crazy? 68% of people, is proven in the latest studies, give up their New year's resolutions before February 1st because they're afraid.
B
Of their own greatness.
A
Wow. But what's amazing is how easy it is to restart them. You could just say, hey, you know what? I missed it today. That doesn't mean you've given up. Start again.
B
Doesn't matter how many times you fall off the horse. It's about how many times you get back up.
A
Yes. I love that it is. Right? It's so important.
B
Yeah.
A
Give me some words that you've been told that have really stuck with you from someone. And you've got some beautiful family members. So maybe, you know, it was a family member or maybe it was a book you read. Give me something that you want to share.
B
So my mom, when I was 13 years old and I started going through, like, all the hormonal changes and puberty and all that, she gave me the book Asking it is Given. And that book completely changed my life because I grew up with. My mom's Jewish, my dad's Christian, so they didn't want to lose their religion and, like, pick one. So we just grew up kind of with Law of Attraction as our religion in our house. Like, whatever you put your attention on, whatever you put your energy in, whatever you focus on is what is going to manifest in your life. So reading that book really changed my life and, like, made me feel like the power was in my hands and nothing was out of my control. And one of, like, my favorite quotes, and it's not from that book, but one of my favorite quotes that I think about, every day is 1% better every day, because after 100 days, that's 100 better. You don't have to be 100 better today, but just, okay, you could only run one mile on 4 miles per hour. Like, today, try to do 4.1 tomorrow. You don't have to move it up to 5.5. You don't gotta sprint, but you just a little bit better every single day. And when you turn around in a year, you're like, wow, who was that person back then? I'm so much better than them. But you won't feel them on the second day, but you'll feel that it's compound theory.
A
That's so beautiful. I love that. That's so important. And your family is so cool. Like, you have the most inspirational TikTok family. Yeah, it really is. You guys are actually. That's like a reality show in itself. Literally this thing. I love it. I was like, when I met you for the very first time, I was like. Then I was like looking at your page and I went in the family. I was like, whoa. I was like, that is the coolest family ever. I'm gonna put Tori's TikTok handles and Instagram and actually, you know, Bodhi. Tell us about Bodhi.
B
So Bodialine was my brainchild. That kind of happened to me without me realizing it. I was had just finished my 200 hours of agnasi yoga training and I was like, a lot of hours. It's a lot of hours.
A
How many? So that's like 200 days. If you are not.
B
I know.
A
It's an hour a day. Like, yeah, if you did an hour a day, it's like, I did more.
B
Than an hour a day. So I finished it in eight months. I could have finished it in shorter, but I was doing it broken up between like doing other things and traveling.
A
That's amazing.
B
It really put me in the mindset of like, community and what I wanted to do. And I posted on my Instagram, I was doing full moon ceremonies by myself. I posted like, hey, do any girlies, like, want to come over to my house and do a full moon ceremony? I wound up with like 20 women in my living room and 30 women.
A
On Zoom oh way.
B
And anyone that couldn't make it, they were like, oh, are you going to do it next week? And I was like, oh, maybe next month. Like, let me figure it out. And I started doing them every month. And then that turned into, well, men need healing too, but I don't want them at my house. So I started doing my wellness days and I was like, okay. Like I've had this idea called Bodiline. Like, maybe this is what it is is just like these events where people can come and just be uplifted by a community of wellness and like minded individuals of people just looking to better themselves. And every time someone comes, I'm like, I want this to feel like your family. Like, I want you to feel like every month I get to see my. My holistic family, my wellness family. Like, you should be excited to go. And I've just really tried to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, everyone feels like they can elevate, Everyone feels like they can be introduced to this wellness space if they haven't been there yet. And it's just, honestly, every time I have One. I even feel better. So I'm like, if I create an event that I would want to go to that I would feel better after, the people will come. If you build it, they will come.
A
That's so amazing. Tori, you're so beautiful. I'm so grateful for our friendship. I love you. You're so special. I'm so happy you could be on here today. Yes.
B
Thank you for having, having me on.
A
So, okay, you're building Bode out. You're doing the mummy hood. I just. Yeah, I feel like you should have this like community on of mummies on Zoom. Have you thought about it?
B
I've thought about it and honestly there's a lot of things that I'm working on right now. I have a couple ebooks that I'm releasing as well as an eight week course called Return to you that's going to help women get their sparkle back, get their pink back. So I'm working on that as well as a portion of that is going to be a weekly meeting on Zoom.
A
Oh, babe, I love it. This is so amazing, so special. I love that you're really embracing the version of you that, well, that's passive as well means passive income, which means that you can literally sleep be with the solar.
B
And that is a huge thing for me is I'm like, okay, how do I make sure that I'm spending enough time with my daughter as well as like still generating income? Because I'm not, I'm not out here just trying to live. I'm out here.
A
We gotta survive, we gotta make money.
B
So what is a way that I can make money to support my family and myself and my daughter, but still spend time with her? And it's passive income all day. Like passive income girl. Number one thing.
A
This, all day on this. So I literally teach people how to build passive income. That's how I have my wealth. Because I like just I created a course and then courses that sell while I sleep and other people sell them. And it's awesome because I have been able to build my empire and coach people in person, which is beautiful. And do everything that I'm doing in my life, go on stage and be the motivational speaker. Because I've created a passive income where it doesn't matter what happens in the month, they have a membership. We got to talk about this because I've got so many ideas. Honestly, yeah, thinking I should come do a. As your friend, come do a session. Anyone else who's sadly not my friend has to pay the premium. But my girl yeah. I'll come do what I do for my, like, one to one clients with you. Okay. This is about you, boo. So give me your final message you want to share with the audience. I know you've given us amazing gems. Tell us something that the audience doesn't know. Like, something that someone out there doesn't know about you.
B
Something that's.
A
I know. It's a hard one, isn't it?
B
It's like, I share so much. I'm like, what have I not shared?
A
Maybe you love chocolate or you love what? I don't know. Something that you do. Maybe.
B
I think something that I do that it's super silly, but I just never really talk about it is. I never deprive myself. I just replaced unhealthy habits or options with something that is healthier or better, whether that's spiritually in life or whether that's in the kitchen. Like, okay, I'm not gonna eat Ben and Jerry's. I'm gonna have Halo top. Oh, I'm not gonna go do this class because my knee hurts. But I'm not gonna not work out today. I'm gonna go on this walk, like, always replacing a habit with something else. And never depriving yourself of anything. Like, if you're feeling low energy one day, don't push yourself, but still do things that are productive that you can do in the state that you're in.
A
This is so one thing you're amazing at. And before we wrap, I really just want to touch on it. You're so good at balancing, like, your man with your family life, with your work. How do you do that? Like, where do you. What do you do with your man for fun? Like, give me something in relationship, because you're with an amazing guy and you are an amazing woman. So what we're looking at is two top tier people, right? And there's different categories of people you could be with. Someone who's, like, super alpha, you know, beautiful. All the stats and stuff. Like, how. How do you handle relationship?
B
Well, first of all, shout out to my man. Because a lot of men are really afraid to be with a powerful, great woman because they feel like it takes away from them. And honestly, he is so supportive. He wants me to be the biggest, best, most amazing version of myself. And he sees that as a positive reflection on him. So having that support and having someone that's constantly not dimming my light, but putting it on a stage for me to shine is so helpful and powerful. But I just feel like at the end of the day, Like, I love my daughter. She's the world. But she's going to grow up, she's going to get her own friends, her own life, her own man, and she's going to leave. My man's still going to be there. We're still going to be together. So as much as time and energy as I'm putting into this little girl that is going to go out here and live her amazing life, I still need to put time and energy into my relationship. I still need to make sure that we're having date nights, that we're having alone time when she goes to bed, that we are co parenting. Well, not in the sense that we're not together, but in the sense of, like, that. I don't feel like I'm the default parent making sure that the load is not just on one person because I feel like that's when people start to get that detachment and they feel like roommates. And I've been very aware of that, honestly through my entire recovery is making sure that men go through their own form of postpartum depression as well. And they go through their own changes and they're becoming dads. And especially if you're becoming the dad of a daughter, like that can cause you to reflect on a lot of things that you may have done to your in your life. Someone else's daughter that you may not be so proud of and just really trying to hold space for that. And he holds so much space for me and my healing and my journey for recovery. And he's just constantly reminding me of that person that I am and not letting me ever get too deep into any type of negative thinking or feeling. So it's just really, it's all balance. It's making sure that you are filling up your cup so that you can fill up other people's cups because that's what we do as women. And I'm lucky that he replenishes my cup constantly.
A
