Natasha Graziano
Hey, guys. Welcome back to the Law of Attraction Secrets podcast. I'm your host, Natasha Graziano. Today in the studio, we have one of my favorite guests, somebody who I personally think is a fucking genius. He is somebody who is a business and music mogul. He's done movies, he's been in music. He's done so many shows, including Wilder now, which I'm sure you know, future superstar, and so many more. Welcome to the show. Nick Cannon.
Nick Cannon
Wow, what an introduction. I mean, you just light the whole room up, as I always tell you. But thank you. Thank you for having me.
Natasha Graziano
I'm so happy to have you here. I mean, look, your energy, you. You always say, you know, I'm a. I'm just a human in a spiritual experience. I'm a spirit trying to have a.
Nick Cannon
Human experience, having this human experience. I'm a vibrant spirit having a human experience. I mean, like, it's hard to contain me and classify me, but I. You know, I'm not of this planet, but I operate in it.
Natasha Graziano
You do, and you make it work really well, which I love. What are you passionate about right now?
Nick Cannon
Balance. I'm very passionate about balance because when I can get my equanimity right, everything else flows. I used to be so focused on career. Obviously, my main priority is family, but finding and resting in the balance in 2025 is a big thing for me. So I'm excited about balance.
Natasha Graziano
Let's talk about balance. Let's lean into balance, because balance is a big word, right? It's a big B. Yeah. Billionaire. Balance. Like, you know, I love all this, right? You are. You're a very empowered being. You're somebody who is really setting the way for a lot of people. What I found really interesting about you is you have all these shows, and then suddenly we see this spiritual side of you now. That's really beautiful.
Nick Cannon
Thank you. Thank you.
Natasha Graziano
That's what got my attention, by the way.
Nick Cannon
Before we go on, is anyone joining you? No, I don't know how much.
Natasha Graziano
What do you mean?
Nick Cannon
Someone just texted me, said, I'm looking for parking. Oh, that's probably Shania.
Natasha Graziano
Shuda can deal with it. Let's carry on. Let's carry on.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, please.
Natasha Graziano
Okay, ready? Okay. I just saw. And I can.
Nick Cannon
And I. I didn't see who it was.
Natasha Graziano
I just saw. I'm looking for parking. I'm like, whoa.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, Yeah, I think that's Shania.
Natasha Graziano
Okay.
Nick Cannon
It is, actually. Okay, so let's go straight back in. Yeah, yeah. My spiritual side is. Is something that's always for Me, at least been, you know, at the forefront, I think just. I never lead with it because, again, I'm trying to create balance. So I. I try to live in an authentic space. And even with sharing that with the public, I wrestled with it a little bit because one is something that's so intimate to myself, and I actually do, and been practicing daily for years. But then even how I explain it, because I don't like to be defined. I said to define me is to confine me.
Natasha Graziano
So you definitely don't like to be bugs. I mean, that's for sure.
Nick Cannon
So even when it comes to, like, you know, classifying who I am or what I am spiritually, it's a long story. I can't. I can't just give you the. The Cliff Notes to my spirituality. So now I've exposed it in such a way because my. My meditation practices, my prayer practices, and then people often ask, like, well, why are you doing that? But feel like God spoke to me and told me, you know, this is my assignment. And. And however people take it, they take it. If you want to go along for the journey, if you want to affirm with me, if you want to devote with me, want to meditate with me, let's do it together. So that's, you know, that's. I. I'm. I tag all the people I care about and that I. I feel like, inspire me. And it's created this amazing conversation with all these amazing beings every day.
Natasha Graziano
I love that. No, it is. It's so inspiring to watch. But it's a journey so much, right? Like, there's no destination with spirituality. It's like, it's an ongoing thing that we do.
Nick Cannon
And that's something that most people don't really understand because they feel like there has to be a destination. Heaven or hell or success or whatever. Like you're trying to get to something. But when you appreciate the actual journey, and that is what it's all about, I think you. Your anxiety comes in that. Because if you're. If you're just. If you're spiritual to be performative or transactional, then you probably really aren't spiritual.
Natasha Graziano
Do you want to hear what's actually really wild? So when we meet people, right, it's like we already chose the people we really connect with in this lifetime. We chose before we came down, right? Like soul family. Like, it's not a coincidence that you particularly want to have. How many baby moms do you have? We're going to do that later.
Nick Cannon
But, yeah, somewhere around a half a Dozen.
Natasha Graziano
Okay. But it's beautiful. No, but this is. I'm shedding light onto this in a nice way because it's so beautif. Beautiful. Right. You came back with them from another life. I believe that you already connected, like every single person that you have your babies with.
Nick Cannon
I feel like I was like a pharaoh.
Natasha Graziano
Yes, yes.
Nick Cannon
You know, I was a ruler of some sort.
Natasha Graziano
Yes.
Nick Cannon
I had to have dominion over a lot of different.
Natasha Graziano
Yo, guess what? Tell him who I was in my past life. Cleopatra. And you were the pharaoh.
Nick Cannon
Take it. Are you kidding me? There it is.
Natasha Graziano
For real.
Nick Cannon
Great to connect with you again, Cleo.
Natasha Graziano
Great to connect with you, Pharaoh. Oh, my God. Yo. I've been told it by every teacher, every spiritual. His mom, his dad, every psychic she sent me to. Every. Every person sits and says to me, whoa, there you go. They have this, like, overwhelming thing. They go, you a clear patter in your last life. And I've been looking for my pharaoh.
Nick Cannon
What is it? Imhotep is something I've always connected with in Egyptian times. Done a lot of study in that space. I've never been. I've never been to Egypt. I want to go to.
Natasha Graziano
I have the people there who have the, like those private vip like for the, you know, special people there.
Nick Cannon
But I mean, obviously during certain times, they. They. I haven't gotten a chance.
Natasha Graziano
Do you want to go?
Nick Cannon
Absolutely want to go.
Natasha Graziano
That's like my dream too.
Nick Cannon
I've always wanted to go. I've been everywhere else in the world, except I've never physically seen the pyramids, but I feel like there'll be a connection. Like I'm home.
Natasha Graziano
Me too.
Nick Cannon
I probably won't want to leave out my mouth.
Natasha Graziano
I want to stand inside it and be like. Because, you know. You know the pyramid, what it means, right?
Nick Cannon
You unders what I mean, it means so many things, but I want to hear what you.
Natasha Graziano
Wait, you know about the shape of the pyramid. Okay. Some people who go really far, they build their houses with a pyramid onto it. Because the point of where the pyramid meets is the highest point in the energy soccer. Yes. That's why those points around the globe interconnected, when you stand in that. I mean, you can imagine. Imagine.
Nick Cannon
You know how they say the pyramids were built upside down?
Natasha Graziano
Yeah. Whoa. No.
Nick Cannon
You never heard that theory that, like, that's the theory of, like, how it's actually happening and we only see things in a linear way, but the people who built it built it upside down.
Natasha Graziano
Wow. That shit's amazing. I love.
Nick Cannon
Okay, so the pyramids it goes. It goes like just as tall as it is.
Natasha Graziano
Is how. No, I know. I look. I. I literally every time I see it, I get full goosebumps whenever I go to a museum. And me too. Why the are we not like. This is. It's so easy. It's a flight. We're gonna do it now. Next episode in Egypt with Nick and Natasha. N and N. That's so cute. The double N. N squared is gonna.
Nick Cannon
It's got. You heard her. She's manifesting it.
Natasha Graziano
I'm manifesting it. N squared in Egypt. Oh, that would be wild. Okay, wait. Leaning back into spirituality. So Law of Attraction, this is my favorite topic because it's like amazing book on it. Thank you. Which you have.
Nick Cannon
And I've interviewed her about. I've read it. And you. You. You know your stuff.
Natasha Graziano
I really believe you live it.
Nick Cannon
You really do live it.
Natasha Graziano
I do. I do.
Nick Cannon
And most people talk to talk and don't really live it.
Natasha Graziano
You.
Nick Cannon
You've manifested such a wonderful life for yourself.
Natasha Graziano
Well, you know, I had to. I was in such a dark place and like, that was where I really transformed my life from, is from that darkness when I decided, like, I'm going to do a different reality for myself. I don't like where I am. What can I do? And I'd read the book the secret. And the secret is the law of attraction explained in layman's terms. And Rhonda's my. My actual teacher. I have two teachers, and she's my. My mentor. I've been in her home. She never mentors anyone. Never has anyone her home. I'm her mentee. So when I went to sleep, Patrick. Oh, it's a powerful energy, honey.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, she recognized.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah, it's a power thing. Like, that's a real thing. I'm pharaoh you, Jo. Okay. So anyway, what happened was after that is I realized if I apply the knowledge, it becomes power. Knowledge applied equals power. But knowledge just listened to, just. Just remains knowledge. Right. So I started to apply it. What was a dark time that you had where you realized who you were meant to be and what you transformed? And on that note, we're going to take a quick break and we'll be right back. The Dark Time I've had a lot of dark times, unfortunately, but or fortunately because we. We grow. That's where. That's where plants grow. In the darkness, in dark Rooms and where your roots are planted. I would have to say, you want the darkest?
Natasha Graziano
Give me a time that you want to share.
Nick Cannon
I give you a time of uncertainty. And because it was just off the heels of one of the lightest and brightest times in my life, when, you know, my first two children, twins, rock and roll, were born. Happily married, just thriving. And in 2012, literally New Year, I fell ill, and I had. I didn't know what was wrong with me. It was like they were saying I was having kidney failure. My body was just shut down in certain ways, and everybody got really scared. The diagnosis came back, is that I had lupus nephritis, which is really my auto. Or my immune system is an autoimmune condition. But my immune system was specifically attacking my kidneys and then other areas as well. But it got really scary in my. I had never felt that type of pain in my kidneys and then other areas. And I started inflammation and swelling and pulmonary embolisms. So we're, like, going into my heart, lungs. It got really, really scary. And I remember I was probably in the hospital close to a month, and it got dark, it got lonely, but I got focused. I said I was going to make it through. And I knew that I had such a greater purpose. I knew God wasn't done with me, and I made a vow. I was like, I need a new lease on life. If I get up out of this, I'm riding it till the wheels fall off.
Natasha Graziano
God, that is so emotional that I had the exact same moment of standing in the mirror, making that agreement. This is my new life. Oh, that time.
Nick Cannon
I remember looking up from my hospital bed at the ceiling, and, like, I was like, I've heard about this moment from so many different people.
Natasha Graziano
I literally stood in that same place.
Nick Cannon
Yeah. And it's literally like, if. God, if you give me another shot, I'm. I'm not gonna waste a second. Like, I'm gonna go get as much as I can possibly get. And since that moment, a lot of things changed for me. My perspective and probably I feel like I was renewed in that. In that moment of being. I had accomplished so much at that point and really loved my life. And even I gotten to a point where I was like, if this is it, this is a good run. You know what I mean? Like, in believing in different realms, seeking eternal life, and knowing that everything is reciprocal and time is not linear, I was like, okay, this season was cool. I wonder what sport me got after this, because I accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time. And, you know, I was probably just in my early 30s, and I was like, all right, well, run it back. You know, I mean, like, that's. That's kind of what my mindset was. But I was like, but if this isn't my last days, I guarantee you I'm gonna get so much. And I'm gonna get so much for the next generation, for my. For my offspring, for my lineage, because that's who I wanted to do so much for. And in those times, you know, God speaks to you, and even, you know, there's. There's some. Some negative spirits and voices that try to seep in, and you got to deal with them, too, for sure. You know, when you go to that dark place, when you go. And you gotta have the spirit of discernment to know, oh, that's not of God. Oh, that's. That's trying to tear me down. That's. And. And when you recognize that, first of all, you got to recognize God's voice. And when you can recognize God's voice, you know, all the other voices that aren't God, so. And you. You lean in. It's spiritual warfare. And. And I'm. I'm on the battlefield each and every day, and I like. I like to lean into it. I like to take all of the challenges. I'm not one of those people that are passive in. In any manner when it comes to who I am and what I'm here for. And so if anyone tells me no, I challenge it.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, I love that you challenge it, but you do. You've achieved so much. You've created an empire. Like, you're a mogul of this world you've created. So. So, so much. So your. Why now? I understand. It's coming from a deeper place. So at the time, you had two babies.
Nick Cannon
Yes.
Natasha Graziano
So now you have. Let's go there for a second, because this is so beautiful. I want a five. I was one of six. My dad's one of eight. My whole family's from bas. Babies and babies and loads of kids.
Nick Cannon
That's how the world populates.
Natasha Graziano
So do you believe that you're a populator?
Nick Cannon
Clearly, I don't believe. I know I'm a populator.
Natasha Graziano
What's the like? Okay. When most people are in conventional relationships, would you ever just be with one person, have 10 babies?
Nick Cannon
That probably initially was the. The plan, but I. That would be pretty difficult, especially right now. But, I mean, going into it, I just knew I wanted a big family, and I knew that, you know, I was Going to have stages to my life, so I kind of. It would have been amazing to do it all in one space, but. And, you know, I try to say this as humbly as possible, but, you know, the experience of my life and being able, you know, I've had the opportunity to have some phenomenal experiences and connections with some amazing and powerful women, and I wouldn't change any of that for the world. And I think that's like, you know, hats off to everyone who can do monogamy and they found their person in this universe and they become one and they're union forever. I don't think I was built or designed for that.
Natasha Graziano
Neither was my dad. Five marriages, so.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, I just feel like, yo, the connections that I have are so real and authentic, and to be able to bring life into this world together with someone that you have a real connection with is. I feel like it's the purpose. I mean, I also understand why people do the traditional route because, you know, at times it could be less challenging. At times it could be easier to manage. But for me, again, I'm up for every challenge.
Natasha Graziano
What do you do? Like, you know, in one relationship, you got one la la la la la. She's going up her son, but forget it. You got like, I don't know how many, but I love it. You do?
Nick Cannon
I'm built for it. Like, again, present me whatever challenge we have, and we gonna. And if we. If we're aligned, we on the same frequency, we gonna figure it out together.
Natasha Graziano
Wow.
Nick Cannon
There's no need to argue. There's no. Like, every day is not gonna be the greatest day in the world, but if we're on one accord and we're aligned, we gonna figure it out together. Like, I want what you want. I don't. I don't. Whatever you desire, I desire for you.
Natasha Graziano
So when you're in a relationship with someone, you dedicate your time, like, of X amount of the ones that you with. Let's say, do you then dedicate your time to each of them equally, or is it just whatever's going on in that?
Nick Cannon
Yeah. Well, again, we'll go back to time being linear and time being man made. When people look at it from a linear sense, it could never work. But when you look at it from being reciprocal, whenever it looks like you control time, you're the master of time, then it's more about energy, and it's, what energy do you give to that future?
Natasha Graziano
And because.
Nick Cannon
Be with you for every day of the year and we never connect, and you feel Empty. And it just, it. It brings more negativity than anything. Or I could be with you for an hour and we have the deepest connection. We have something that resonates with your spirit for eternity. And it's just because that energy was able to build what we need. So I'm all. I'm so much more about qualitative than quantitative.
Natasha Graziano
I agree. Quality time is my love language. So quality versus quantity.
Nick Cannon
And it's about making core memories, especially for children, it's really about connecting with them. Because as a kid who grew up in an unorthodox, you know, household as well, not a part of a nuclear family, but feel like a village, helped raise me. My parents were teenagers. My grandparents were very present, but I moved around quite a bit. I found even back then I. I focused on the quality, I focused on the experiences. I focused on, you know, taking pictures and embracing videos and. And all of that stuff is still in my mind. And I wouldn't change my upbringing for the world. So now as a parent, I'm only looking to create those type of experiences. So one thing, you know, I understand the challenges. I'm pretty sure I have to deal with it when it comes because dad isn't there every single day. But you're gonna know dad tried his best and you're gonna feel dad's presence. You're gonna feel dad's love. No matter where I am on this planet, and you're gonna know that I'm paving the way for you. And I'm. Everything I do, I'm doing it to make sure that I can make life as meaningful as possible.
Natasha Graziano
What does love mean to you?
Nick Cannon
Love is everything. Their love is the DNA of why we're all here and what we're doing. I mean, that people ask, what's the meaning of life? The meaning of life is love. And. And it's it that to me, you know, like, it's our motivation. It's why we do what we do. It's why we hurt, it's why we heal, is why we breathe. It's like that. That essence of really just have. And the word is so. Especially in English, love is overused. And it's. It's hard to define in the English language. I mean, there's a bunch of other languages that kind of break down the field. But in English, we can say we love cookies and we love people. You don't feel the same way about cookies that you feel about people, but that term is so broad. But when you break it down for your desires, when what you live for and you classify it. I mean, I believe when you say love in, you know, erotic sense, or Eros, which is a term for love in Greek. Yeah, yeah. So when you say eros, that's the passion, that's the energy, you know, that's what you're drawn to, that's the attraction. When you say Fila, that's where. That's family love or brotherly love or philosophy, the love of something.
Natasha Graziano
I know all of this because my dad taught me all this growing up, where he's from.
Nick Cannon
And then the ultimate love is the agape love, and that's the godlike unconditional love. And that's the one that we can't even fathom. Like, God is so, like, powerful and omniscient and omnipotent that we can't classify him in other way, but we know what that feeling is that we get overwhelmed with when we're in the presence of God.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, my gosh. I love talking about this. It's such a powerful, like, topic because it's so what life is.
Nick Cannon
Yeah.
Natasha Graziano
The core of it.
Nick Cannon
Like.
Natasha Graziano
Okay, before I ask you about purpose, because I really want to ask you about that. Can you be in love with more one person at one time?
Nick Cannon
Absolutely. If you listen to everything that I just said, it's almost. How many friends do you have? Can't even count, huh? So. And you and all of those friends you have a connection with and even think about, you probably even have some friends that you've been friends with since you were in grade school and it takes you all the way to your adulthood. That's a beautiful thing. Like, friendship to me is almost way more valuable than a romantic relationship because of the time that's spent, the amount you can bring all your friends together and you all can have a good time. But then when our egos get selfish and you say, I want this one person solely for me, then look at all of the possibilities and all the experiences that you just quarantined yourself away from. So in that sense, I look at being in love, having that passion, having that connection with somebody. Now I'll play. I'll play within the rules of society if you need me to. I get it. You know what I mean? Like, it's literally illegal to have more than. Than one wife. But you can still.
Natasha Graziano
In America.
Nick Cannon
In America?
Natasha Graziano
Yeah. In Lebanon. Yeah. Dubai. You can marry a few times. Honey, it's okay.
Nick Cannon
Exactly. But have you thought about it? I. I believe you can have covenants with as many people as you want. Even with your children, you have a covenant with every child. That's the only people think you don't have a favorite child. You love each child in the same manner. So if you can spread your love for your children, children, your family, your friends, why wouldn't you have be able to do that same type of romantic sense to where it's like, yo, I have such a deep in romantic and intimate connection with more than one person.
Natasha Graziano
I think it's beautiful. I think it's amazing. I don't know if I can personally be in like.
Nick Cannon
You have to remove ego.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah.
Nick Cannon
You have to actually know who you are. Because people often ask me, like, all right, so you can have multiple partners, but can the people that you're involved with have multiple partners if that's what they desire? I'm not gonna. As long as we know what's going on from the very beginning, then I'm fine with that. But I'm also one of those people that I don't want to hurt people's feelings. I don't want to flaunt, you know, because when you do that one, you just. When you allow the world into whatever your relationship is, you know, you as the quickest way to fail, involve everyone.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, God, I love. Nobody ever knew whenever I broke up with anyone in the past, ever.
Nick Cannon
People don't know, but that's just in life in general. I mean, like, you gotta be collective in willing to work with others, but you gotta know who you are and the decisions you are. Because as soon as outside opinions come into your intimate setting, it's ruined. It's a step. So I see it, in a sense, to where whatever that covenant is that I create with that person, we establish it from the gate. This is what I'm willing to offer. This is what you're willing to offer. And if it matches up, if it's a line, let's go on this journey for a while. It ain't got to be like, again. Time is not a real thing. I just want to have these great experiences for the time that I'm allowed to have them. Because this walk in this human suit, this is the only thing that would deteriorate. But my spirit is eternal, so I'm going to try to get as much eternal experience as I can.
Natasha Graziano
I love that. Where do you believe we go after life?
Nick Cannon
There is no after. It's all right. Now. That's again, everything is reciprocal. Everything, future and past is all happening at the same time.
Natasha Graziano
I do believe that. So therefore, you're right. Maybe we don't go somewhere else. Maybe we're already there.
Nick Cannon
This is how I think about it. If you think about energy and energy and science is proven. It never dies.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah. It cannot be broken or destroyed.
Nick Cannon
Yeah. So the fact is, once this soup goes back to dust and dirt, your spirit is still your spirit. So I believe I'm here in the present just as much as I was here in the past, as much as I'll be here in the future. So that again, that's how. It's a weird concept.
Natasha Graziano
No, I fully get it, but I don't think.
Nick Cannon
I don't worry about what else there is. Even when I was talking about, you know, laying there in the hospital bed, I was like, oh, this was a good run, but I know it's happening. It's. It's gonna happen again. It's gonna. This spirit is. My spirit will never die. So. And have you ever had a chance to. You ever heard of the Monroe Institute?
Natasha Graziano
Yes. My God. It was just on the phone with Jorge from yesterday.
Nick Cannon
So the Ultimate Journey by Robert Monroe is just all of those books actually, in that sense of where they talk about levels and they talk about just different levels of existence and being and spiritual enlightenment. And there's levels to everything. There's like level 23, where a lot of our religious beliefs land in that realm, where you're like, okay, this is, this is where all of this stuff was taught. You can get up to like level 27 or even your outer body experiences to where you can actually enter in. You know, know, things are going on in. Whether you call it lucid dreaming or astral projection or whatever these things, like, you know, when you have looked out and saw you and trying to get to that state is probably the best way to explain how everything is happening at once. And I've done that on so many occasions. But most people usually do it when they have a near death experience. And when you get to that space and you're like, oh, it's so much more than I thought it was. There's so many. I have so much connection to not just humans, but to plant life, to insects, to animals, and how we all coexist together under the same energy. And when you break it down, like, the more things have been revealed, like science is showing us that all of that is true and it's only. Only certain people can really digest it before people say, all right, you sound crazy.
Natasha Graziano
They call it astral projection. Lucid dreaming. Yeah, completely. I'm able to go and visit. I don't really talk about this, But I go in my deep meditation, awake, asleep, awake, and travel to places and go and see people and talk to them. And like, I may have even spoken to you in your dream experience. You know, I can do that. I can go and dive over them and they call it many different methods, but you can speak to people. I've influenced work things. I've influenced things in my life that.
Nick Cannon
But you got to be careful with that.
Natasha Graziano
Very careful.
Nick Cannon
Because when you, when you start dabbling and you know that power, you got to make sure that it's operating for.
Natasha Graziano
God's goodness, but always for the highest good of them. And otherwise I won't with it.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, because people can do that stuff. And like I said, spirituality is real and people can use dark forces. So that's why high vibrational individuals got to stick together. Yes, yo, we're doing this for the greater good. Because there's a lot. It's almost easier to get into a low freak frequency. It's almost easier for. Because I want to call them bad, but just negative energy flows slower together.
Natasha Graziano
You know what? You know, it's amazing that you're saying when two people come together who have high vibrations, oh, my God, they create the third mastermind. It is so powerful. They can do so much. It's like I always say, I'm literally prophesizing over your life. When people are coached by me, they're like, whatever just happened has changed my life. Because they go on and they do something amazing and I'll sit with them and I'll like, preach life over them and help them to achieve that goal. There's a difference from telling a friend, when you tell a friend, oh, by the way, I want to do this. Maybe they already have their own thought about it. Maybe they already have a negative feeling towards it. Maybe by accident they put the evil eye on it. They don't know. Right. That's why I wear my evil eye all the time. But they don't know. Right? They're sending an energy without knowing. When you speak to someone who's just filled with unconditional love for you, holding space for you, it's a container, it's a vortex. And then you manifest together. Then you go, what do you want to do? Like, I know this really cool couple friend of mine, Lucas Mack, he does, like, the breath work with lots of cool athletes and his wife. They've been together 25 years, and they've both been on the show individually. And they every morning sit in a vortex together drinking cacao, doing a cacao Ceremony every morning. And they talk creatively about what they see for each other. When I say the stuff they have achieved, oh, it's so powerful. Like, I'm waiting for that covenant with someone where I can sit and be like, this guy's not just doing it for show. Like a fucking show for two weeks.
Nick Cannon
Really want to connect. Yeah, that's powerful. To someone just as powerful as yourself. And you guys are vibrating like that can literally change the world.
Natasha Graziano
Change the world for real. Because now you're like, you're both in your divine calling. You're like, no, I hear God for this. And he'll speak to you about these people.
Nick Cannon
How do you differentiate between surface spirits and surface people who talk to talk just for the lights are for the cameras. Opposed to somebody who's really living a life.
Natasha Graziano
Watch their actions. Watch their actions off the camera, Watch their actions. Every day, ask them, what do you do first thing in the morning. Do you meditate? Do you journal? What do you do for you watch them in their day? I've sat with people on camera. They're so spiritual. They talk about it. And then off camera, I'm spending a bit of time with them three, four days at a time. And I'm like, this person is the most unethical or unright. Like, the actions will be profound. Your actions speak louder than words. That's how I know. Like, okay, let's turn off the cameras and see what you and I are like. I'm like this 24 7. I'm like this at home. I'm like this with my family. I'm like this with my babies. I'm energy because I'm feeling in my vibration.
Nick Cannon
I believe it.
Natasha Graziano
How do you differentiate?
Nick Cannon
I struggle with it. I really do.
Natasha Graziano
Ooh, that's interesting.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, I don't.
Natasha Graziano
Okay, so bring me in as your secret weapon. Be like, babe, help me. Is this bitch right?
Nick Cannon
Is he gonna.
Natasha Graziano
Is this good? Is this guy good?
Nick Cannon
I try to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. I think at my core, I'm a lover. I want to see everyone win. So I'm like. I'm optimistic. I'm like, oh, this person is genuine. This person says what they are. But then the problem with that is that mixed with my pleasing mechanisms is like, I don't. People just take my sweetness for weakness. People just come in and say, oh, I'm going to take advantage of his optimism. And so I don't really know how to read people. Therefore, that's why sometimes I clam up or I.
Natasha Graziano
Interesting. Okay, so you Definitely need someone like me to dism for you, because what happens is. So here's a really good time.
Nick Cannon
And I thought I had the spirit of discernment. I think I do. I just. Even when I recognize it, I'm like, okay, everybody has a bad day or everybody has something. None of us are perfect. And so I give everyone grace until they stab.
Natasha Graziano
But that reminds me of Jesus, how he was loving to everyone, how he was so beautiful. So here's a really good tip when you're trying to discern, okay, so somebody who comes across with the talk. The talk, right? So the first thing you're going to look at is just going to ask them a really. Like, you're going to almost play with it, like, so do you connect to the divine? How do you connect? Oh, you know, I do. You'll hear it. That's the little question. Or you could ask, what are your practices that you do? Like, what can you not miss every day? And then they'll be like, for me, I can't miss writing, scripting, writing to God. It's a prayer. I'm doing gratitude and praying, and I walk to this rock by my house. It sounds so deep, but walking to the rock. I'm with you. Okay, you're with me, right? Okay. You gotta come see this rock. Okay. This rock is so beautiful. The view is just amazing. It's just down the road from my house, and it's so beautiful. And the sun sets every night, and it's by the rock, and I sit by the rock and I just inhale God's earth and I just almost cry with gratitude. That's something I can't miss out. And I take my babies with me. I take my son, however much he drags his feet. I'm like, you're coming. He's like, okay. And they know. Now my baby sits and she just watches me pray, right? Every day. That's like, what practices can you not go without? If they're like, oh, boo, I'm going out for dinner, I'm gonna go and do this. I'm gonna go and do that. That's the focus of your day. Listen to what they talk about, right? You will know what they talk about, like, whenever you.
Nick Cannon
There's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion.
Natasha Graziano
There isn't anything wrong with it.
Nick Cannon
They vibe. That's your vibe.
Natasha Graziano
100%. There is nothing wrong with you.
Nick Cannon
You like going to the club every night. That's. That's your. That's your ministry. That's. I like going to the rock you like going to the club?
Natasha Graziano
Yeah, like different.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, but they spit. It's some spiritual stuff going on in the club. It's some spiritual stuff going on in brothels. It's a spiritual stuff. Like, I. That's what I say. I don't judge anyone or anything.
Natasha Graziano
I can't.
Nick Cannon
And how they experience their life. So when I'm. I don't care who it is. I meet somebody outside, like, man, that's a beautiful spirit. That's somebody that, whether, whatever they're experiencing this current life, who they were in the past life, like it's eternity speaking to me. And I'm seeing everything about him. So I'm like, I'm. I'm intrigued. I want to help if I can help. And you know, I'm like, okay, there's a reason I'm crossing paths. I don't think there's no such thing as a coincidence. So when it's funny, I experience this a lot, whether in meditation or even if I'm on a journey, as I call it, where I see like my last 24 to 48 hours, like, sped up. Yeah. And. And it happens so fast where I see. And it classifies. I see everything that's positive and high vibrational. And I, I can see all the, the negativity too. And it's like everything your subconscious picks up on everything, picks up on every word, it picks up on every intention and everything you come across. So when people say something to you that, like, that's why words are so powerful. Death and life are in the power of the tongue because your subconscious is taking that in. So when you come across a good spirit and they're, they're speaking life into you, matters. But when you cross something that feels dark and demonic, it matters. And again, seeking that balance, obviously you want to lean to as many positive vibrations as possible. But as someone who has the light, you got to deal with the darkness as well. So you got to know how to deal with it, and you can't let it overcome you. So no matter what somebody got going on, I'm willing to lean in. I'm willing to be like, all right, tell me more about it. I'm not going to judge it, long as it's not jeopardizing my safety. And at times it possibly can. But that's where I rely on my faith and knowing that I got on the arm of God and that I'm protected, but I'm not going to be afraid of it. Like, oh, as long as it's not hurting my being or my spirit. I'm all for whatever it is that you desire. And however it is you get to your. Your place of balance. You know what I mean? And that's why I don't judge people who have addictions, because we're all addicted to something. That's why I don't, I don't judge people deal with whatever the substance, whatever they're their, you know, choice of vices, like, because who are we to judge?
Natasha Graziano
But you know what? All these bad times and the things that people are going through, you make your pain your purpose. You make your breakdown your breakthrough. Everything has a reason and a season. Like, we go through this for a reason. Like, I know I went through that dark day so that I could become who I am today. I had to have my ego shattered into a million pieces in order to become Natasha Graziano that I am today. I would never have been her. I would have stayed in my own version of the rock in the club. Like, I would have stayed as that version.
Nick Cannon
You elevated, you found what you needed to find to get to that spirit.
Natasha Graziano
And I love it because I wake up every day going, tell me, God, what's my assignment for today?
Nick Cannon
Because. And we're all just, you know, spiritual beings attempting to heal broken spirits that are just seeking healing. And it's. And if you're, if you're cultivating, if you're growing, then that's life's purpose, if you ask me. And, and there's so many experiences that you have, but you got to keep pushing, you got to keep going forward. Because if you get stuck in that mud, if you get mundane, that's where depression sits. And it's like, if you really, the only way, you, you can't have a new reality with an old mentality. So, so.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, that was a good clue. You can't have an old.
Nick Cannon
You can't have a new reality with an old mentality.
Natasha Graziano
That quote was so good. When you do your book, honey, that needs to be right in the book. Oh, my God, I love it.
Nick Cannon
It's just like, you gotta seek growth and new experiences every day, and your mentality has to constantly change. Now you can have values, you can have things you stand on, but you have to build upon those because, you know, you got to have a solid foundation, but to get to that pyramid, you got to just constantly keep putting up new bricks.
Natasha Graziano
I love it. What's your million dollar routine? Morning routine?
Nick Cannon
Million dollars. That's too low. Million dollar routine must be.
Natasha Graziano
Plus travel for a million dollars. So let's do your. I love the answer to that. Okay, let's go.
Nick Cannon
Aiming low.
Natasha Graziano
What's your billion dollar morning routine? Oh, first of all, listen up people.
Nick Cannon
We're going back to that linear sense. Even though I'm always on my circadian rhythm, so my morning has to start before everyone else's morning. So at 4:00am or 3, you know, just four works. I mean again, because the sun is forever moving. So whenever that, whenever your spirit wakes you up, we sleep in increments of four, you know, the cycles of four. And that's why they tell you get eight hours of sleep, so you get 24. So four is pretty much all I need, depending on where the moon is when I go down. But I like to get up when it's silent, when it's quiet and everyone else is in their slow space because that's when I could be my most creative. So I know a lot of people have like the 5am Club, which is beautiful. I know a lot of people have the 4am club. But sometimes like I'm up at 2 or 3 and I see as a creative, I used to always notice like in the studio, like I come up with my best stuff when it's like 2 or 3 in the morning. And that's because I'm controlling the vibration. Everybody, everybody else is off doing something else. And as someone who's always pulled in so many different directions, I need that quiet time. So I'm not going to say what specific time it is because, you know, when I'm on the east coast, if I'm in New York, that time is probably different from when I'm on the West Coast. I'm in Australia or Dubai or wherever that is. So you just got to find that time where everything else is quiet, where you can shut out the rest of the world and how you start your day and that's when you pray, it's when you meditate, it's when you're allowed to just jot down creative ideas. When I pace, I'm a pacer, you know, obviously I was diagnosed with adhd. So I can't sit still. If you notice I'm constantly moving.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah, I know, say it.
Nick Cannon
But so pacing helps me. You know, one, once I've learned to be still in my meditation and I got that together, then I'm so energized that, you know, I pace. My pacing turns into my workout routine. So anywhere between the first three hours I go from stillness to active movement and hopefully I give myself enough time to do all of that because obviously it doesn't happen every day. If I, if I'm rushed, if I over you oversleep at times like that. But on, on a perfect routine, you know, I give myself about three hours of quiet time, me time and workout time. And then I feel the most amazing I've ever felt. And I do believe that's a circadian rhythm process to where as the sun rises, you rise. And so by the time I'm up before the sun, then now I'm really, I'm focused, I'm ready, I'm all knowing.
Natasha Graziano
I'm all saying, do you watch the sunrise?
Nick Cannon
Absolutely.
Natasha Graziano
It's very powerful, isn't it?
Nick Cannon
And it's. And when you're aware of that, it just allows, you know, allows you to know who you are in the space and who you are in the universe. And then routines happen. Then I'll pop open, you know, then I'll upload my morning meditation, I'll go through that, I'll answer emails and texts, you know, depending on what day of the week it is, take the kids to school, handle everything from that point on to where my business or creative work hours tend to be somewhere between. You know, everybody gets to the office like around nine. I've been up for probably at times six hours already, but nine to about two I kind of dedicate to business. And then about two, probably like even when we, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm teetering here because soon as, like before 3, 3 o'clock, I gotta be in dad mode, picking kids up from school and being a professional car puller and a daddy taxi, as I call it.
Natasha Graziano
That's so beautiful that you do that. That's like 4 o'clock for me. 4 in the afternoon until 8 is dedicated for my kids. That's like mommy time.
Nick Cannon
Indeed.
Natasha Graziano
That's my time with my babies.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, three, three to eight is what I try to do because that's bedtime. Try to, you know, get as many kids to sleep as possible.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, that's so beautiful. You go between.
Nick Cannon
Yeah, well, however it works out, you know, I got different schedules, different days of the week, depending where I am, but that is the time, you know, and even if that's everything from a FaceTime to physically being there, it's like you got to figure out, and it's not easy, you know what I mean? That if any, if I be honest, like that's the most challenging time of the day, is to make sure everybody is getting enough and dedicating, focusing everything from extracurricular activities to sports, to homework, to, you know, whatever care. Just times at the park, just quality time. And then the evenings, I usually get back creative again. So if I'm writing, if I'm in the studio, if I have to go out and socialize, if I have to do a dinner, a business dinner, and I try to be down before midnight, there was a point in time where I was even going down when the kids go down.
Natasha Graziano
But I get that because you're getting up at 2 or 3. But hang on, if you're getting up at 3, you go to bed at midnight. You only need three hours sleep.
Nick Cannon
That's a tough one. If I go to bed at midnight, I'm getting up at four.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah. Jesus. Even. Well, because it's a four hour segment, but even that, I love my sleep.
Nick Cannon
I'm not a sleeper.
Natasha Graziano
Yes, women traditionally need more sleep. Scientifically, they need more sleep than men.
Nick Cannon
And I say the happier you are, the less sleep you need.
Natasha Graziano
Very interesting.
Nick Cannon
I like being up. I love that. I like life.
Natasha Graziano
I think it's beautiful. Don't miss it.
Nick Cannon
I understand. I mean, even with my own health, you know, doctors have over the years encouraged me to get as much sleep as I possibly can. So I know the value of it. And I know being able to get the deepest sleep possible. I'm a deep sleeper. I'm a deep dreamer. So even if it's like transcendental meditation, like, even if it's like I do.
Natasha Graziano
Them for people before bed, I have a whole recording and I send it.
Nick Cannon
To hear it in your voice. You can definitely. It's soothing in that. Like, I can see how that could take somebody really deep into the realm. So. But yeah, just knowing how to sleep and knowing to let. And that's what. Once you can let all the toxic stuff go of the day and just sleep easy and rest, you get it. You get a better. I try not to toss and turn at night, but you know, we all, we all struggle with our, with our demons, but I've tried to keep them at ease. And that's why I said balance is so important in my life, because that helps me sleep better for that short amount of time that I am sleeping.
Natasha Graziano
So that's wonderful. Okay, worry. Just one question on worry. How do you overcome worrying? Worrying is one of the most normal, humane things that we do. We worry all the time. But how do you overcome it? I read this book by dale Carnegie from 19. When was it? 18. 18 something. Anyway, it was a very old book and I found an orig copy when I Moved into my house that I bought in Vancouver. And when I moved in, under the floorboards were a pile of books. I'm not kidding.
Nick Cannon
How did you get under the floorboards?
Natasha Graziano
Because I knew that there was in the plans, there was some treasure in there. Right. We were looking at the plans of the house and it said really clearly there is another, like, layer. And I was like, wait, what? And when I say we had to pull back a carpet, find a hole, it was a whole thing. Right? Floorboards. And I found books.
Nick Cannon
Books.
Natasha Graziano
And it, amongst other things, artwork. We'll talk about that another time. And I found this pile of books and the top one, and it was dusty and old and it still says on it 80 cents.
Nick Cannon
Oh, wow.
Natasha Graziano
So beautiful.
Nick Cannon
Yeah.
Natasha Graziano
And so anyway, I. That was it. That book took me away. But it's called how to Worry Less and Live More. And the reason is so powerful is because it teaches you the three simple practices of how to overcome worry. So I want to know what you do to overcome worrying. Like, do you worry ever? And if you do, what do you do?
Nick Cannon
Now I was always taught worrying is a sin. No sin is greater than anything other. So I don't try to operate, you know, in, in worry because I do enough sinning in other spaces. So I just, I've never been one of those people who focused on worrying. Like, I, that's. It's. It's a useless sense of energy. Like, and I value my energy so much that there's a difference between contemplating, pondering, solving things and worrying. We all know that that worry feeling is in your stomach and it makes you uneasy or even anxiety. I don't, I try to transfer all of that to solution based practices. So I think I. The way I compartmentalize my thoughts, if it's not leading to all right, how do I fix it? Then it's worrying. If it's just concerned about the problem, what is that going to do? Like, I'm, I'm solution based and my energy, my activeness is always going to figure it out and it may not. And I truly believe, like, you gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna do my best and let God do the rest because it's, it's gonna figure itself out. And I truly believe all things work for the good of those who love the Lord. So I'm like, I'm good. Like, whatever you throwing at me is part of the story. It's gonna be in the book. It's a different chapter.
Natasha Graziano
Oh, the book is gonna be powerful. Have you ever Been told that you're like a prophet, that you have this like voice where you can just lead and guide.
Nick Cannon
Not prophet. I definitely don't feel like I'm prophetic, but I do know that my words are powerful. I know I can speak things into existence. I've done it all my life.
Natasha Graziano
Our words are spelling, you know that.
Nick Cannon
You understand the power casting spells with your words. But I know that's why I'm very careful with how I say things and what I say. Even the energy that I put on everybody because I know I have the ability to be hypnotic in a sense of. And, and I, I, I, I use my powers for, for fleshly reasons. And I'm trying to do that a lot less. So I don't, I know what I can do. So I try to stay away from the world of manipulation because that's how powerful my words are. Like I know I can, you know, I could talk a hump out of camel's back.
Natasha Graziano
Okay, give me your top three books you would recommend to our audience today.
Nick Cannon
The Bible.
Natasha Graziano
Yes.
Nick Cannon
The Torah and the Quran.
Natasha Graziano
Wow, that is so beautiful.
Nick Cannon
But if you, if you're not into studying spirituality or even so I mean one of my favorite books is a book that is called the Proof of Heaven. And I believe the author's name is even Alexander. He's a, a neuroscientist that actually went brain dead and ex. And knew, knew every like neurotransmitter pathway of the brain and could explain it. And when all of his cut off and no longer work he had the greatest outer body heaven eternal experience and then came back a week later able to talk about it. And it just the reason why I love it because it talks so much science and so much spirituality all through one being and like changed his life and that's, that's been his, his mission. And he's like I want to read it. Yeah. It's, it's, it's life changing and it like literally it feels like, like Steven Spielberg should direct it, do a movie on it.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah.
Nick Cannon
It's amazing. So like that's a fun, fun book man. There's so many of course thinking grow rich.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah.
Nick Cannon
You know what I mean?
Natasha Graziano
Love that.
Nick Cannon
But everything.
Natasha Graziano
Napoleon Hill.
Nick Cannon
Yeah. Everything that we've talked about here is from that. Yeah. And like even there's, there's even audio of him like what his teachings and taking step by step through you know him sitting under Carnegie and all of these, these amazing men's for decades and just everything that he learned and what else what else would I say? Of course, the four agreements. Four agreements is always something that, you know, that is as short as that book is to be able to, you know, practice those on a daily basis and, you know, make sure your word is impeccable. You know, don't take things too serious and, you know, always do your best. Like, it's just. It's stuff like that that I just implement into my children. So even as like a first book, I kind of hand it to them.
Natasha Graziano
See, with kids, I feel like we can teach them so much, but we learn so much from our kids. They're like our teachers.
Nick Cannon
Like, they are a reflection of us in. In such a way that they gonna give you a lesson about who you.
Natasha Graziano
Are straight away, every day, straight away, like, okay, that's what I need to work on.
Nick Cannon
Yeah. Responsible for that are. Oh, okay. I see the joy. I see. I see the opportunity. I see the, you know, the. The willingness. You see that in your children?
Natasha Graziano
No, you do. Children are the biggest blessing in our life. And I love to teach gratitude to kids. Like, gratitude every night. I say to my son every night before we go to bed, what are five things you're grateful for as soon as you wake up? What are five things you're grateful for when we're sitting around the table? Like, let's do gratitude. I make it fun. Like, I love that. You know, like, make it into a fun gratitude session.
Nick Cannon
Okay. Determines your latitude.
Natasha Graziano
Yes, I love it. Okay, give me one quote for the final word of today. Oh, have you? Well, you said one. Actually, we can just use your one that you wrote.
Nick Cannon
Oh. I mean, I said a bunch of stuff today.
Natasha Graziano
Yeah, shit.
Nick Cannon
You said, I got isms, Natasha. Talk that talk.
Natasha Graziano
You are that guy. You do the isms. Wait, what was the quote he said about reality?
Nick Cannon
A new reality without a new mentality? Yeah, you can't. I said you can't have a new reality without an old. No, you can't have a new reality with an old mentality. Boom.
Natasha Graziano
That's the quote of the day. That is it right there. I love it. Nick, it's been amazing having you on. You're an incredible being. You really are moving through this lifetime, the journey of life.
