The following podcast is a Dear Media production. What is up, you guys? Welcome in to let's Be Honest. We have a bonus episode from the let's Be Honest live podcast tour. Oh, this episode. Well, let's start with Harry. Harry I just love so much. I really love him so much. This episode has a lot of ups and downs. There's a lot going on and. But Harry in particular is just. He's so funny. Harry makes me laugh so hard and every little thing that comes out of his mouth is just. It's hilarious. And actually listening to it back, I caught more than I did in the actual live show. Obviously, when you're in it, you know, and there's a live audience and there's just a lot going on, it's hard to catch every little thing. But watching it back, I was laughing so hard. So I know you guys are going to love this episode and you're also going to laugh your asses off. He's just always a really good time. We discuss his journey of trying to become a husband and just all of his wild dating stories and rumors that he's heard. He's a really open book and, you know, that's why I love him so much. He's someone who is so authentic and that's what I really respond to and resonate with and I just respect him so much for putting everything out on the table. Then we get to my very first boyfriend, Johnny. Maybe you guys are watching, honestly, Cavalieri, and you kind of saw some of it. This is one of those situations where, you know, a live show, anything can happen, you know, and this took a completely different turn than I had expected. And after the tour, I did a tour wrap up podcast and I talked about this, I touched on it, about what happened with Johnny on stage. And, you know, I was really emotional after tour. And to this day I actually don't know what is true and what's not, what came out of his mouth. But of course, if what he says was true, I take full responsibility for that. I think the one thing that kind of rocks my world is that Johnny knew all of the questions I was going to ask him beforehand because he had asked me. And I know he doesn't do this kind of stuff. So I wanted to set Johnny up for six success. So I told him every single question I was going to ask him. I also told him I was going to give him a hard time joking around about how he slept with my friend Lainey as soon as I moved to California. So he knew all of this Going into it. Okay, So I just want you to put that in your back pocket as you listen to the interview when Johnny comes up. Because it just felt like he was coming at me and listening to it back. I think what really hurt me the most was that I've held Johnny in this high regard for all of these years. And our relationship was so sweet. It really was sweet. And he came on stage and he wanted to just diminish all of that and basically just make it about sex. And that was the part that was really just honestly so hurtful was that wasn't our relationship. I was there. I know what we had, I experienced. And doesn't matter what he says on stage, that can't ruin it for me. I think right after this, right after the tour, I kind of walked away and I was like, that sucks. Like that just totally ruins the idea that I had in my head about Johnny and I. But after a little bit more time has passed, that's just not true at all. I know what we had and what we had was really special. And just because of whatever he's going through in his life personally right now, he can't take that away from me. And so I actually still hold our relationship to a high regard. And who he was at that time, I still loved. You know, I think between Talon, which was last week, and Johnny this week. But you guys have to remember this was the same night for me. So these two things happened back to back for me. And I think the part that really broke my heart honestly was that these guys have wanted to dumb down our relationship to make it seem like it was all about sexual publicly. But then behind closed doors, you know, it's actually a much broader thing than just Johnny and Talon. But I'm just saying these guys in reference to like guys that I've dated in my life, they've always been so sweet behind closed doors and tell me I'm the love of their life and just really the sweetest things imaginable come out of their mouths. And then it's like they get insecure or they're like nervous that I'm gonna like come for them or something, which is so not me. Like, I'm all about giving everyone, not just guys, girls and guys, a hard time in a loving way. Like in a joking, like playful way. I'm not mean spirited. I mean honestly, like, I would stand by that. And I think on Laguna beach people could say I was mean, but I wasn't. Like, I never like came at people necessarily. And Also that was 20 years ago. But, like, now in my life, like, I'm not. I'm not a mean person. I'm just not. No one who knows me would ever say that I am mean or, like, come at people or try to have like a gotcha moment. That's just not who I am. But it almost feels like these guys feel like that's how I'm gonna be. And so it's like they want to beat me to it. They want to, like, get ahead of me. And I also feel like it's so. It's a little bit of, like, insecurity, which they obviously just can't even own. And then I feel like, because at one point in time I hurt them, and then it's like they have to put me down and hurt me. And Johnny told me afterwards that no one believed him about me for 25, whatever, however many years it's been. And so what it felt like was so. Because when he would tell people, I guess, you know, I dated Kristen Cavallari, or I'm sure actually in boy Talk, he was like, I took Kristen Cavallari's virginity and no one believed him for 25 years. Well, what it felt like then was him taking out that anger that no one's believed him taking out that anger on me on stage in front of everybody. That's what that felt like to me. Because honestly, I don't understand what else that was. And I just. I don't know. I think it's interesting. I think also these guys want to be like this tough, cool guy. Like, look, I'm so tough. I don't care about Kristen. I don't care about, like, look how tough I am. But, like, guess what? Hate to break it to you guys, maybe that was cool in high school. Maybe I don't even think that was cool in high school. But we're adults now. We're grown ass people. We're parents. We're all parents. Like, the tough guy thing is not cute anymore. It's just not the same way. My little bitchy attitude in high school isn't cute anymore. At some point, we have to grow up and we have to take responsibility for our own in our lives and stop projecting and putting things onto other people. I gave Johnny a layup to be the sweetest guy on the planet, and he all over that opportunity. And here's the funny thing which is so interesting is like, these guys think, let's use Johnny for an example. He probably thought like, oh, I'm gonna put Kristen in her place. Like, I'm gonna make her look like the only person that looks like is you. Johnny, you. That didn't make me look bad. I'm an open book. I mean, you're the one that went on stage and tried to dumb down and on everything that we had. That doesn't make me look bad. That makes you look bad. So I'm over it. I'm over the tough guy, cool guy act. So that's that. That's Johnny. And then my favorite medium, Cindy, joins Harry and I. You know, she's been on the podcast multiple times. I'm sure you guys have heard her before. She does a little mini love tune in on both Harry and I and we talk about when my husband is coming in. She also brings Harry to tears.
