The following podcast is a Dr. Media production. This is, let's be honest with Kristen Cavallari, a podcast all about getting real and open on everything from sex, relationships, reality tv, wellness, family, and so much more. And just a fair warning, there will probably be some oversharing. Hi. If you're watching, I have Teddy here with me. Teddy is my rescue, you doodle. I actually don't even know fully what kind of doodle he is. He's mostly poodle, but he thinks he's ten pounds still. And you're gonna do this podcast with me? You're, like, basically sitting on my lap. Okay. Yeah. Oh, okay. Come on, snuggle bug. Teddy is my guy. How are you guys? Guys, it's almost Christmas. Oh, my God. What? The year's over. I don't understand, but I hope everyone is with their loved ones right now and having a good time and relaxing and just taking it all in, because I know I am. It's been so nice to just be here this holiday season and not travel. And I'm just. I'm so happy that I decided not to go anywhere because I'm loving being home and just being cozy with the fire going and. And anyways, Christmas is Christmas. Christmas is here. So I get my kids back Christmas Day. We flip flop every year. And so tomorrow night for Christmas Eve, I will be at Justin and Scoot's house, which is always really nice. So every year I'm either with the boys Christmas Eve or I go over Christmas night. Just depends on the schedule with my kids. But I'm gonna be with them Christmas Eve tomorrow, so I'm very excited. So Merry Christmas, everybody. And so because of the holiday season and it being winter and everything, I thought it would be fun to tell you guys about some of my favorite beach vacation destinations. A bit of a travel guide, if you will, what I love doing in these places. And as I was prepping this podcast, I was like, oh, it's been really nice to be home. But now that I'm talking about Cabo and Tulum and all of these warm, great places, I really want to book a beach vacation. And I think I'm gonna go to Tulum, but we're gonna talk about it. So I'm gonna give you guys four beach destinations that I love. Of course, Cabo, because I've been going there since I was like 8 or 9 years old. I know it like the back of my hand. We're gonna talk about Tulum, which is another favorite of mine. We're gonna talk about mykonos because Mykonos is just a damn good time. I've had some of the best times of my life on Mykonos. And then we're gonna talk about Miami, so we're gonna do it all over, but we've got two Mexico destinations, a United States destination, and then of course, a Greek island. So we're kind of going all over the place. But let's jump in and let's talk about Cabo. So, like I said, I've been going to Cabo, you guys, since I was little. My dad first took me to Cabo. He had a business partner that had a house there, so he took my brother and I. I was probably eight or nine, and I. What I remember from that trip is two things. One is we went deep sea fishing and I caught a tuna. I mean, I had definitely had some help from my dad and one other guy on the boat because again, I was little. But I caught a tuna and it was almost as big as me, and that was very fun. And then we sliced it up on the boat and had the freshest sashimi possible. And I just remember that being so insanely good. I. To this day, I've never had anything quite like that. So that was a memory that I had. And then I also remembered in Cabo, my brother and I catching the puffer fish. And because what happens is the puffer fish are. They're small, they're like any other fish. And so you obviously, you have to know what they look like in order to catch these fish. But we caught them. And by the way, I don't think I could catch a fish today if I tried, if my life was on the line. But back in the day, some way, somehow we caught these fish and multiple ones of them. But when you catch the puffer fish and they blow up in your hands, they start to puff up in your hands, and you can throw them back and forth underwater like a football. So my brother and I were doing that, and I just remember that was so cool. I haven't done that since, even though I've been to Cabo 5,000 times. The problem with Cabo is you can only go in the ocean on. In certain areas. So a lot of the hotels that I like today, you actually can't swim in the ocean because the current is so strong it will pull you under, and it is. It's just really dangerous. But when you're in town in Cabo, the water's calmer there, so you can go in there, which I. I guess is where we were when I was little. But I have done Cabo every way imaginable. So I've done it as a kid myself. I obviously did it for high school spring break, as a lot of you guys saw. I've done it as an adult without kids. I've done it as an adult with kids. I've done it with girlfriends. I've done it for work. I've done it on a romantic, in a romantic setting. I mean, I've done it every way. I've done it for photo shoots. I mean, you name it, I've done it. So the thing I love so much about Cabo is you always know what you're going to get in Cabo. You know, you're going to get incredible food. You know you're going to have the best service on the planet. The drinks are always good. The weather for the most part is always good. I've been there on my kids spring break, which is in March, and it's been a little chilly, but not enough where you can't still be by the pool and get a tan. My high school spring break was in April, and that month makes a huge difference for the weather. But it still is not bad. You know, you're always going to have fun. I've never not had fun in Cabo, guys. You know, you're always going to have great sun, you're going to be able to relax if you want to relax. Like, you just always know it's going to be a great trip. I've never not had a really great trip in Cabo. So that's what I love about that consistency, where to stay. So I love Esperanza and I also love Las Ventanas. The last couple of years that I've been going, I've been staying at Las Ventanas and listen, I've stayed at every hotel imaginable in Cabo. I really love these particular suites that are on the beach at Las Ventanas. I've stayed in the other rooms and they're nice. But these suites are what? They're the most incredible suites, some of the best suites I've ever stayed in. And they're just so nice because they're right there on the beach. So you have your own pool and then the beach is right there. They're really private. Besides paparazzi. That's the one. That's the one. My one knock on Cabo is there's always paparazzi and I don't know how the hell they find me sometimes, but I. For a long time I was Thinking the hotels called. I. But I stayed in a house one time and I. But then I was like, maybe the house called. I don't know. But paparazzi always seems to find me in Cabo. That's the one thing I kind of wish there wasn't. But anyways, that's neither here nor there. You guys won't have to deal with that. So. These Las Ventana sweets are incredible. I was there in August for Scoot's 30th birthday. If you guys follow me on Instagram or Justin, then, you know that's Britney Spears was two sweets over. Like, they're very. Anytime I'm there, like there's. There's someone there. They're incredible. They're definitely a splurge, though. So this is, you know, they're a splurge. Just know that this is like honeymoon or like whatever it is. But I used to stay. Oh, and by the way. But I've also stayed in these with my kids too. And my kids love them. And. And Las Ventanas is great with kids because they have this little mini lazy river. They have by the lazy river. There is an ice cream bar where they make that rolled ice cream that my kids go crazy for. It's so fun because it's like these long sheets of ice cream that then they roll up and they put these rolls in a cup for you. They're fun to eat. They also have pizza making for the kids. So my kids got to have the Little Chef hats and the aprons and make pizza and. And we one time watched a movie on the beach at night. So they literally set up beds for you. They bring out a big screen tv. I think we watched Home Alone, which now I'm trying to think. We must have gone. There was one trip. My kids and I went with Justin and Scoot. It must have been. Maybe it was. Maybe it was Christmas break. I don't remember. But I know that it was probably around the holidays. And that's why we watched Home Alone. So that was. It's very cute. They do a lot of cute things for the kids. Esperanza. I used to stay out with my kids and I think I stayed on the resident side, which I know you can rent them because obviously I don't own a residency at Esperanza, so there is a way you can rent them. I don't know if you have to call and do it, but that with kids staying on the resident side was awesome because we went for spring break one year and they had this pirate ship and they had mermaids and they just had all of these like bounce houses and games and just a lot of fun stuff to do with the kids. But I've stayed in the regular Esperanza, not with kids. And that's great. Esperanza has one of my favorite restaurants in the world and it is called Cochina del Mar. It is on their cliff. So you're eating Cliffside and the waves are crashing right up against you and it's really romantic. It's really beautiful. The food is amazing. My ex and I took my kids there when they were little and I remember being like, this is not really the place for little kids because little, little kids are hard to take to dinner because their attention span is so short. They can't. It's hard for them to sit for like an hour and a half, two hours. It just is. And I, we just, I remember we were like, you know, not the best spot. So maybe don't bring your kids there. But for girlfriends or couples trip or just you and your man or whoever, it's really special. Cochina del Mar. The other thing that Las Ventanas has is a little taco bar. And they are the best tacos, guys. The best tacos on the planet. And it's really fun to just sit there at the taco bar, get a drink, get some tacos. It's just, it's a vibe. Las Ventanas is a vibe, so. So is Esperanza. Those two are definitely my favorite hotels in Cabo. They're not cheap. Okay? And listen, I'm not trying to like, this is just, these are my trips, okay? And I'm. I don't want you guys to come at me and be like, I listen, I get it. I know, but this is what I do. In high school, I stayed downtown. They have since changed that hotel, so I can't even remember I've stayed at. Is it Cabo Azul? That one is really nice. And they have a Javier's restaurant there which is actually from Laguna beach. And it's such good Mexican food. I've said it that one with girlfriends before. That's also another good option. You guys know I love this brand and that is Symbiotica. If you don't know what Symbiotica is yet, guys, what are you doing? You need to get on it. I love them. They are one of my favorite supplement brands for a few reasons, but one of them being every ingredient that they have is top notch, very high quality. You're only getting exactly what you need instead of all of these crazy additives. And they make them so easy with these little individual pouches that there is no longer an excuse about why you cannot get these in your body. Because they're so easy to throw in your purse, throw in a gym bag if you're traveling. They make it really easy to just bring these with you. Yes, I'm the crazy lady who is bringing my vitamins with me when I travel. But I'm telling you, when you are consistent with the vitamin C and the glutathione, specifically those two I do every single day, your immune system will be top notch. You will never feel run down. They're also great for kids. I never have a problem getting these in my kids. If they start to feel rundown, the taste is great. And they just recently had a new CMOS packet come out. That's symbiotica.com honest for twenty percent off plus free shipping. But okay. Oh, I've stayed at Nobu as well. Here's the issue and I. So I'm going to tell you guys my favorite restaurants, which I just told you. Cochina del Mar. Nobu is also really good. But the problem with Nobu with so the Nobu Hotel and their restaurant is it's really far away. So from Las Ventanas, it's like a 45 minute drive from downtown. It's probably only 15, 20 minutes. But I don't love staying downtown Cabo anymore because now when I go, I like relaxing a little bit more. When I was younger, of course I wanted to go out in Cabo every single night. And that was really fun. So Staying closer to town is more ideal because then you can just walk into town. But as an adult, that's not my jam anymore. But Nobu is worth going to if you want a really good meal. If you want really good sushi, it just. Just know that It's. It's like 15, 20 minutes past town. So. Okay, so some of my favorite restaurants are Nixon for sushi. And this is right in town and it is such great sushi. So you could go to Nixon for dinner and then you could go bop around to all the fun bars. If you haven't been to Cabo, you definitely have to go into town and you have to go to all of the staples. You have to go to Squid Row, you have to go the Giggly Marlin, the Nowhere Bar. Some of these bars that have been around since I was in high school and I mean before that, but I've been going to them since I was in high school. It's just really, really fun and you just have to experience it. But you can walk around. The town is so small that you can just walk everywhere, which makes it really easy. You have to go to the office. So the office is a restaurant right on the beach, right in town. It's same thing, been there forever. And. And that's really fun for breakfast. That's also. You could do lunch there. I mean, if you. Listen, I'm not a big. Well, I. I'm one or the other. I can either day drink and I'm in bed by 9 or I can't start drinking until dinner. Like it's. Or like maybe a drink before dinner, but I can't do both. So I would say either go to the office for breakfast, have some bloodies, maybe go to Mango Deck next door. There's usually like some sort of activity happening at Mango Deck and just bop around and day drink and go to all the bars or vice versa. You could get lunch at the office, could be boozy, doesn't have to be. And then you could bop around, go to the beach, whatever, and then go to all of the places at night and drink and do all of that. Las Ventanas also has a little speakeasy that is very cool. So sometimes when I'm staying at Las Ventanas, what we'll do is we'll go off campus to dinner. Let's say we'll go to Esperanza and go to Cochina del Mar, come back to Las Ventanas and go to the speakeasy for a little nightcap. And that is. That's Fun. And they have live music sometimes, and it's. It's also a vibe. Las Ventanas also has a really good restaurant called Arbol. And that's really pretty because it's over the pool and it's the food just everywhere in Mexico or everywhere in Cabo is so good. Las Ventanas also does with these sweets. But I think you can do it even if you don't have a suite. You can do dinner on the beach. So Justin Scoot and I, for his 30th birthday, did dinner right on the beach, like in our suite. And it's. I mean, God, they go all out. They really. It's candles everywhere and rose petals, and it's. It's so beautiful. And you can order from the restaurant, and you can order whatever you want. And it. That's. That's really special. That's a really fun thing to do. That's not something we do all the time. I think I've done it twice since, you know, out of every time I've been there. The Cape, which is the Thompson Hotel, that is. That's a more fun vibe. So that, to me, is a little bit younger. That's where if you kind of want to, like, party, maybe you want a spot to drink before you go downtown, I would say go to the Cape. It's just really fun. Or on your way home from dinner or whatever, stop at the Cape for drinks. Cause that place is usually kind of getting after it. And it's. It's really fun. If you stay at Esperanza, I would say go to Las Ventanas for dinner. And if you stay at Las Ventanas, I'd say go to Esperanza for dinner. I just think it's fun to see both and change it up. So that's my vibe in Cabo. What I like to do in Cabo is stay in these suites at Las Ventanas. So. And Justin and Scoot are usually with me. We like to lay out all day and then have. We'll go up to the taco bar for lunch. We'll float around in the lazy river a little bit. Then we go back to our suite. And then we like having a drink before we go to dinner. Like, for us, it's about relaxing during the day, having really great dinners, and then still being in bed at a decent hour. Last time I was there, I did not hit up any of the bars downtown. But I've done it enough in my day that. That I don't feel like I'm missing out or I need to experience that. I've really scaled back the drinking and really, like, for me, it's all about still getting a really good night's sleep. And I don't wanna feel like shit the next day, especially on vacation. So that's. We've. We've tamed it down, but you can definitely get after it in Cabo. But that's the beautiful thing about Cabo. It can be any kind of trip that you want it to be. All right, let's move on to Tulum. And so I am gonna be planning a trip to Tulum. Cause now that I've talked about it, or now that we're about to talk about it, but I was, you know, like, going back to my notes and my phone and remembering all these places. I really want to go to Tulum. I haven't been to Tulum in a minute, so this list may be a hair outdated. I'm sure there are new, cool places, but I do feel like the places that I'm going to tell you guys about are tried and true. I'm pretty sure they're still there and still probably just as amazing. Tulum. I have stayed. Actually, I've only stayed at this place called Azulique. And I've been multiple times, but I always stayed at Azuliq. So Azuliq is really special because there's no electricity. They have a lot of rules about no phones in the common areas. You basically stay in a little tree house. And it is. It's special. I remember the first time I went, I was like, damn, this place is awesome. So I've also done this in a relationship, and I've also done it with girlfriends. I would not bring kids to Azuliq. I would not bring kids probably to Tulum. If I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I. Well, that's not true. You definitely could do Tulum with kids. I would say slightly older kids. Like, I think my kids now would like it. But when they were little, there is no way in hell I would have brought my kids to Tulum. Because in my head, Tulum is like, riding bikes and going and getting really yummy food. And then, yeah, laying out by the beach. And then you have a boozy dinner and you can go dancing. Like, Tulum is sexy to me. It's very sexy. So I think Tulum is the best in a relationship, but it's. It also is very fun with girlfriends. But. Okay, so as you leak, they have all these little tree houses, and I've always stayed at the Ones on the water. I had girlfriends stay in one that was in the jungle one time and they got annihilated by bugs. So I would recommend staying on the one in the water because the bugs are way less and it just, it was not cute. They. It was really bad actually, how many bug bites they got. And I'm prone to bug bites. I always get just eaten alive on trips. And I, I was, I mean, I had bug bites, but it wasn't like my friends and I stayed at the one on the water. It's definitely. Azuliq is very, very romantic. Very romantic. So know that going into it I. When I go next, I'm going to stay at Be Tulum. I haven't actually stayed here, but I have friends who have stayed here and it is supposed to be incredible. It's worth looking at their website. It's just. It's incredible. Again, everything is sexy. It's just sexy. I went to Casa Malka. So Casa Malka was Pablo Escobar's house at one point in time that they have now turned into a hotel. The history is very cool. Girlfriends and I went and got a drink there before we went to dinner. And it is just cool being there. And they showed us a room. The rooms are great. There's ac. So that was the other thing about Azulique, because there's no electricity, there's no ac. Like you're definitely roughing it a bit more, but in a very upscale way. I never like, I think that's, that's the beauty of it and that's what makes it really romantic and, and sexy. But Casamalca, for example, their rooms are AC lights, you know, the whole shebang, which I don't know. I think there's something to be said about going more the no electricity route in Tulum just because, I don't know, I just think it, that's what makes it special. But Casa Molka is awesome and if you don't stay there, it is fine, fun to go get a drink there. And everywhere you go is great for pictures. There are picture moments at every stop. So like I said, riding bikes everywhere really is the fun part as Azulique is a bit farther than everything. So Azuliq, I want to say was a 20 minute bike ride into town, don't quote me on that. But around there, but doable. And then you're getting, you know, getting some sort of exercise a little bit, but okay. So my favorite restaurants are Arca. Arca is some of the best food I've ever had. And it's all, all these restaurants are in the sand. It's the same thing. Beachy, sexy vibe, great food, incredible cocktails. And then the real coconut is awesome for breakfast or lunch. That is at this hotel called Samara. Samara also has yoga, if you like yoga. They've got a great yoga class. And the real coconut. They actually opened up a real coconut in Malibu in California because it's just, it's so good. And what I love about Tulum is that everything is so healthy. The food is so healthy, but it's so good. It's all fresh. It's none of the bullshit that we put in our food here in America. It's everything is just so incredible. Heartwood is also really good. That's next to arca. I think a lot of people would say Heartwood they like better than arca, but I don't. I think the food at Arca is actually way better. But if you do want to go to Heartwood, you need to go early and put your name in because I do not think they take reservations. At least back in the the day they didn't. I don't know if it's changed, but just keep that in mind. If you love smoothie bowls, you have to go to Raw Love. They have the best smoothie bowls and it's the same thing. It's just everything in Tulum is a vibe like, oh, it's just so fun lot Ifima. I think I'm saying that right, has the best tacos. It's right on the beach. It's nothing as glamorous in Tulum, which is what I love. It's really laid back, it's really casual. It's that ultimate beach vibe for me that is the best. When it's not a fashion show, it's not, you know, the new makeup trend. It's like everything. It's just all about sun kissed skin, skin flip flops and good food and good people around you and just beautiful landscape. And Posada Margarita is great for breakfast. People, I think like that for lunch and dinner. But I just know when I was going I would always go early for breakfast. I was going when my kids were little. Like I went with my ex. And we were always the first ones at Posada Margarita because we were up so early and we were on central time. Although I feel like Tulum is maybe only an hour from central. But seeing the sunrise there with coffee and just great food is. Was the best Gitano for drinks I have on here Thursdays. Because listen, you're gonna have to check this. This is pretty dated but back in the day Thursday was the night that you would go for drinks and you could dance and you could have fun. Kinto at Azulique if you don't stay at Azulique, you should definitely at least go to Kinto for dinner. Cause same thing, it's a vibe. It's like in this big tree house and even if you stay at Azulique it's fun to go or get a drink there and then go to another dinner cuz it's just, it's, it's worth it. Or if you're staying at Azulique, what I've done is I go to dinner, I come back and get a drink at Kinto. Bagatelle is really fun for drinks and dancing. Bagatelle is a vibe and they have em all over the world but it's a place where you can dance on the tables and like you can really kind of get after it. And that's the thing about Tulum is in my head it's like those really warm nights where you're dancing and you're sweating and you're just laughing and having so much fun. That is the essence of Tulum. So Bagatelle is very fun. Let's chat. Bon Charge Bon Charge is a holistic wellness brand with a huge range of evidence based products to optimize your life in every way. They are the brand famous for their great tasting espresso martinis. And now they've developed something new featuring one of Dunkin's best selling flavor swirls. Kahlua Dunkin Caramel Swirl blends luscious caramel and coffee flavor into one easy to enjoy sip. This ready to pour liqueur is creamy, irresistibly smooth and perfectly sippable. To craft a creamy dreamy drink at home, you can serve Kahlua Dunkin Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur chilled or over ice. Or if you wanna level it up, you can pair it with the Dunkin Munchkins Donut Hole treat. You could drizzle caramel on your drink, you could add a toasted marshmallow. I mean, you could do whatever your little heart desires. But it is so good. I have a bottle at my house right now. It's perfect for the holiday season. I love an espresso martini, but this drink really is so good on its own. It is so easy to sip and just enjoy, especially this holiday season. If you're going to someone's house for a party, this is such a great one to bring too. You can find Kahlua, Dunkin, Caramel Swirl at retailers nationwide, including Walmart, Total Wine, Albertsons, Kroger, Ralph, Safeway, Evmo, Publix, and more. You must be 21 or older to purchase. Please drink responsibly. For additional information, visit kahua.com and you can follow Kalua on Instagram. Okay, let's see. Okay. Some touristy stuff that you can do that I've done that is fun is the Mayan ruins. So they have those there. And I am not well. I never was a big history buff. History growing up didn't excite me. But when I became an adult, I actually started caring about history more. Of course. Go figure. And so seeing the Mayan ruins I thought was actually very cool. There's this old town there, and I think that's worth seeing. I don't know. And it won't take up your whole day. The cenotes. Cenotes. I think I'm saying that right. Those are natural sinkholes or underground freshwater pools. And you can swim in a lot of them. And those are really fun to see. Those you want to do early. If you can do a private. That's kind of the way to go. I. I hate doing group activities. Like, I'll just throw that out there. I am a private activity kind of girl. Not because. Not because I'm weird like that. It's because I don't like being on other people's side. Schedules and time. I'm pretty quick with things like I don't need to dilly dally around. So I have just found over the years that I just would rather pay a little extra and be on my own schedule. But by all means, obviously do whatever you want. But that's what I would do. And they can get really crowded and really busy. So I don't know. Just a suggestion if. If you can do it. Okay, what else? Tulum. The other thing about Tulum is. So you used to have to fly into Cancun and then drive two hours. They have opened up a new airport. I've heard it's still about 45 minutes away, but it's definitely better than that. You know, two. I think it was actually over two hours that drive. But I haven't experienced the new airport yet, though, so don't come for me on that. But the overall vibe with Tulum is the best. Healthy food. It's healthy, it's sexy, it's fun, it's relaxing. The. But you can definitely make it again, kind of whatever you want it to be. It can be a really sexy, romantic trip. It can be fun with girlfriends. I've done both. And I take back what I said about the kids. If you've got slightly older kids who are able to just ride bikes and kind of like, cruise and do their thing, I think it's. It would be fun for kids. You could relax during the day and go to bed early and not drink alcohol. Or you could turn up and dance and have the best time ever. All right, now we're going to Greece. We're going to Mykonos. Oh, my God. God, do I love Mykonos. I love Greece. But Mykonos in particular, we're going to talk about. Because I've been there the most, and I feel like out of all of the islands I've been to, it's the most fun, for sure. No doubt about that. So Mykonos I've never done in a relationship. I can imagine it would be very fun in a relationship, but I think it's really fun with groups of people and. Oh, my God, that's not true at all. I have done Greece. I have done Mykonos in a relationship. Oh, my God, I'm. I'm horrible. Okay, Sorry. I've done Mykonos both ways, and they're both really fun. Wow. Okay, so the Greek islands are just the best, you guys. The first time I went to mykonos was in 2011, and then I've been a few times in the past few years, and it was just as fun in 2011 as it is today. Mykonos, it really is heaven. So Mykonos is definitely the party island. So just prepare yourself to have fun. Just know that going into it, if you don't want to party, I would probably go to Santorini or Paros, but it's worth going and experiencing the party scene. So it is fun and it is the best food. Just those two things. The food. The food in Greece is my favorite. It is so fresh. Every time I come home from Greece, I, for two weeks make a Greek salad. And what they do over there is they have the huge hunk of feta cheese. And I do that when I come home. Like, it's. Oh, my God. It's just. Everything is so good, you guys. I like the food and Greece better than Italy. It's just. That's so my speed. Where to stay? I have stayed. Well, the first time I went, I stayed on a yacht. I mean, to be honest with you, I don't recommend that. I actually don't like staying on boats. I don't, because every time I would get off the boat, it felt like I was still rocking. And I like being. I don't know. I just want to have my own space. I want to be able to move about as I please again. I like being on my own schedule. So I have stayed at the Soho House, and I love the Soho House there. Again, I know you have to be a member, so if you're not a member, hang with me, because I've got another place for you. But the Soho House is kind of off on its own a little bit. So it's right by this place called Scorpios, which is definitely a place you have to go. They. It's just a. It's a staple. It's a Mykonos staple. They always have a dj. And I've just had some of the best nights there. It's. Scorpios is very fun. But anyways, if you've been to Scorpios, then you know the Soho House is right next door. But the Soho House is also very sexy. It's very much a vibe, and it's people from all over the world, which I think is very fun. The food there is incredible. The pool is beautiful. And they have a little place that you can jump in the ocean. The ocean is freezing, but you can do it. And it's just. It's a vibe. It's a vibe. All these places are a vibe. Okay? But the, I don't know, I guess annoying part is that you have to drive to all of these other places. But. But again, sometimes I like being off on my own. But what I did last time I went was we stayed at the Soho House for part of it. And then we moved right into town and stayed at this place called the Belvedere. Now, the Belvedere is awesome because you can walk everywhere in town. So one morning, Scoot and I went to a really good bakery, and we got chocolate croissants and good coffee. And walking in Mykonos and shopping around is an absolute must. I did not do this the first. First Time I went. No. Did I? No. I did. The second time I ever went, I didn't do it. And I was bummed that I didn't go in town and cruise around. So it's a must. It's so cute. It's all of the white buildings with the blue shutters and it's picturesque and it's just. You just have to see it because it's durable. Wear flats, wear comfortable shoes because you're gonna. The roads are not even. And it's. You'll fall on your ass if you don't. Oop. I'm not a fan of moving hotels, but I'm happy that we did do it this trip because it was nice to experience both. So it really just depends on what you want. Also, when we would go to, like, this place, Attorney for dinner, then we could just walk home. So that was kind of nice. And again, Attorney is very fun. That's another one that you have to experience because it's like the typical Greek restaurant where you eat and then. Well, if you get a. I would go late. So all of the dinner reservations, you want to go late, like 10 o'. Clock. Because then what happens is it turns into a big party. So you'll eat and then everyone will be dancing on the tables and spraying champagne and just having the best night. And that's what Mykonos is about. So wait really quickly. The rooms. Though I will say I didn't love the rooms at the Belvedere. Just know that you're not necessarily going for the room, but the rooms at Soho House I did love. So it's like you just have to figure out what's more important to you, I think. I don't know. I. The rooms are not great, let's just put it that way. But the pool is very pretty. It's very cute. And again, just having the ability to walk right into town is kind of priceless. So, okay, so you have to go to Attorney. Attorney for dinner. Also know that even if you have a reservation at 10 o', clock, let's say you're gonna wait. If you get there at 10, you're probably gonna wait until 10:45, 11 to be seated. Just know that going in, they are on no rush, they are on their own time. So just get a drink and hang out. And then it's fun too, because after you do that, you can just stumble around to all of the other bars in town. Like, it's very fun to just cruise in town, see a bar, go in, find another bar. That's the beauty of Mykonos. Okay, other places that you need to go, Namos or Princip for a day party. Mykonos is known for its day parties. So same thing. You'll go for lunch, let's say, and then everyone will be dancing on the tables, spraying champagne. It is a party. It's a party like you've never seen before. Wear a bikini or a bathing suit to those places with a cute cover up because you're on the beach and everyone's going to be in a bathing suit. And when I say cover up, I mean some of these women are wearing like a little see through sarong, you know, like, it's not like you can wear a bathing suit top, no problem. And then you have to. This is my favorite. You have to do this. You have to take a boat over to Spila. Spila. Spila. Sorry if I'm mispronouncing these to Spila for lunch one day. It's a restaurant on this little cliff. You can only get to it by boat. It is the best food. And the boat ride is fun. It's just so beautiful. You'll spend hours there. You'll have lunch. Same thing, guys. Everything turns into a party. Okay? So just know that. But everyone, same thing. Up on the table, spraying the champagne, doing the thing. So you can hang out there for hours and hours. It's just a big party. There's music, it's fun, fun. And then you take the boat back and that usually is an early night. At least for me it's been because I will then party during the day and I'm exhausted at night. I think what we did was just eat at the Soho House when we got back and we called it early and so another one you want to do is go to Alamagoo. I would go to Alamagoo for dinner and then stay for the dj. So there is an area for the restaurant and then there is a DJ on the beach. And. And it's just so you have the best food, the best meal, and then you mosey on over to the, to the sand and they always have a good dj. And it's just such a vibe again with everybody dancing. Everything is a vibe. Everything is about good food, dancing and having a good time. I have not done this. I'm really bummed. I was supposed to do it last time and I didn't do it. I just didn't have enough time. But Zuma, there's a restaurant called Zuma. Go during the sunset for dinner, look it up. It's Beautiful. This is like when you see people posting pictures from Mykonos, chances are they're posting from Zuma. And the food is also supposed to be amazing. You can't have a bad meal in Greece. Like, let's just throw that out there. And so that's one again. I haven't been, so I can only say so much, but that's. Next time I go, I'm going to make that a priority because I'm bummed that every time I've been, I haven't made it there. And so I would say, unless you're doing the day parties, relax by the pool during the day, because it really is all about the nights, and everything gets started so much later that you're going to want to sleep in, you're going to want to relax, have a good breakfast, move slow, and then because that's. You, turn it up at night. Okay. And last, if you can't get to Greece, if you can't get to Mexico, go to Miami. I have loved Miami since I was 18 years old. It is. I've got some of the best memories in Miami as well. So it's really easy from Nashville, by the way. It's really easy for a long weekend just to pop over. I've done girls weekends. I've done gay weekends. I've done it in relationships. I've also brought my kids. I mean, I have done Miami in every way imaginable as well. But I've been going since I was 18. And now. Now I don't remember where I used to stay. Well, I've. Well, I've stayed at every hotel in Miami as well. I've stayed at the Delano, the Shore Club. I've stayed at the Fountain Blue. I've stayed. I mean, I've. The Versace Mansion. I mean, I've. I've stayed everywhere, but now I always stay at the one hotel and I just think, same kind of vibe to what I was saying earlier. You just always know what you're gonna get. You know, you're gonna have a good room. You know, the food's gonna be good, the pool's gonna be great. There's actually a couple pools. And the gym is good if you want to work out. Actually, the gym is incredible. They've got the best gym, I think, and it's right in town, so you can walk, you can ride bikes. Miami's another place where I usually always get bikes and I ride on the boardwalk, and that's just. It's fun. I go to the pool every day. You can shop on Lincoln Road if you like shopping. There is a store next to the one. It's called Big Drop and I love that store. So I usually do go in and I always find something. So lunch spots. I actually have not been to these two places. I don't typically go to lunch in Miami, but these spots are supposed to be good. Call me Gabby and Mandolin. They come highly recommended. But again, I'm usually eating at my hotel and by the pool. Miami is also about dinner and nighttime. So Marion is an incredible experience. Guys. Okay. I first went here on a bachelorette party and same thing, you have dinner and then it turns into a incredible party. But even while you're having dinner, there are women, there are. They are dancing, they are in the most incredible costumes. And it is a vibe. It is very fun and it turns into a party and you are dancing on the table. So that is fun with a big group of people. I've done it on New Year's Eve before. It's fun. A bachelorette party. I mean, it's fun when you're like with a. A group that's going to get after it. That's a spot. You definitely want to get a reservation for like 9 or 10 so that then you can stay for the party. Carbone. Carbone is a classic. I like going to Carbone the last night because it's a heavier meal. So I like going usually the last night. I won't go out like let's say I'm there for three nights. I will go like a Thursday, Friday. No, sorry, like a Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I'll go on Sunday because it's a heavier meal and then I'm not going to go go out afterwards. So. So I like. So Carbone is. They're famous, they're in New York. I actually like the vibe in Miami better. It's just a different vibe. The New York location is very old school Italian and Miami is just way more Miami. It's a bit. It's a bit livelier. It's just. It's a little more fun. Perfect for Miami, obviously. So you definitely want to go there. If you have not experienced Carbone, you have to get the spicy rigatoni. Do a couple appetizers, have everyone split the spicy rigatoni and then get an entree and it's heaven. You cannot go wrong. Another favorite restaurant is Mila. Oh my God. Is the food phenomenal. The sushi melts in your mouth and it's a fun vibe too. Very lively. And then if you can finagle Your way downstairs, there's a lounge. There's. The lounge is funny because there's the lounge, but then there's a members only side, but they're like right next to each other. So I. I don't know, just. You gotta just schmooze your way down there. Just finagle your way down there, ladies, because the lounge is very fun and at a certain point it does definitely turn up. So that's, that's a good time. And then. Okay, Sparrow is another good restaurant. It's a little bit farther away. It's not right there in south beach, but it's worth it because the food's really good, they've got live music and it's just, it's worth it. That's another one. If you just want a good dinner and you know, you maybe don't necessarily want to go out afterwards, but you want to have dinner and a couple drinks or something, that's a really good one. I haven't not been to Delilah in Miami, but I'm pretty sure they have a Delilah, which. There's a Delilah in la, there's a Delilah in Vegas. They've got a few and they're always fun. The ones I've been to are always fun. So that could be a great place to get drinks after as well. And then if you're with some gays like I have been in the past, you could go to the palace gay bar. I've been and it's very fun. We actually had our craziest night was there. We went for a drag show, Me, Justin and Scoot, one year. And it was fun. And ladies, listen. The hottest guys work at the palace and they're all straight. So that is the one thing about gay bars. It's usually really hot guys. Straight guys that work there because they love it for a. The tips. But be all of the gay guys that bring in their girlfriends. So girls, I'm just saying, I'm just saying it's worth, it's worth checking out. It's worth a drink. The drag shows are funny too. So single ladies, don't be afraid of a gay bar, okay? Because the guys are usually hot and straight. So there you have it. Those are four of my favorite beach destination spots. My, my places. And I want to do another one of these with like. I think Nashville would be fun. New York, some like, maybe we do like a city location or something. I could do la, but yeah, so this is fun. So I hope you guys love these and maybe I'll see you guys in Tulum, because I'm literally about to go book a trip. So Merry Christmas, happy holidays, Happy New Year. Or no, I guess we have a podcast. Well, next week is Spirit Daughter, so that's going to be a great one to kind of set us up for. For the New Year. But Happy New Year from me to you in current time, and I'll see you guys then. Please note that this episode may contain paid endorsements and advertisements for products and services.
