The following podcast is a Dear Media Production. Hi, I'm Lisa Rinna. And I'm Harry Hamlin. And this is let's not Talk about the Husband. We've been together for over 30 years and we've been working in this industry a lot longer. Well, you know, we have some crazy stories to tell. And on this podcast, we're gonna own it, baby. Buckle up. Let's get into today's episode. Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of let's Not Talk about the Husband. I'm not talking with my wife today. I am talking today to the illustrious, the one and only Danny Santos of astrological and shamanistic fame and all the things that you are up to in your life, and that's why you're here. I'm going to find out what you are up to because I have to be totally honest and I have to just say that astrology is not my thing. But I. But maybe you can convince me that it's my thing. I've been on a spiritual journey for many, many years. I started off when I was in high school on a Christian journey, and I went very deep into that. I've talked about that a little bit on the show before, and then abandoned that after an extraordinary sort of mystical experience that I had and then started off on another journey, kind of beginning with the course in miracles, if you know of that.
Danny Santos
Absolutely.
Harry Hamlin
So I did that over a year long period and then attempted to do it again two years later. Kind of got halfway through, but. And then all the sort of follow on spiritual people that sort of live in that domain of spirituality I have studied voraciously. But astrology is one thing I have not gotten into. So take it away, Danny Santos. Tell me.
Danny Santos
All right, so I've been studying astrology since I was 11 years old.
Harry Hamlin
I saw that, by the way, I read the statement that you have on your website. And. And like I saw, I've been studying astrology since I was 11. And I go, okay, when I was 11, what was I doing? I was definitely not studying anything except my. My older brother's Playboys.
Danny Santos
Oh.
Harry Hamlin
That he kept under his pillow. And. And then I got my own subscription Playboy. But. But I was definitely not studying anything serious and definitely not astrology. So how did that happen?
Danny Santos
Well, it's funny you say about the Playboys. So my dad is a doctor and when I was a kid, he had like a leftover computer at his office and he put it in my room because. A leftover computer at the office, you.
Harry Hamlin
Know, like, like a cpu?
Danny Santos
Yeah, like a, A full desktop computer.
Harry Hamlin
With the screen and everything.
Danny Santos
It was just no one was using it. He's like, my son can use it to write. His school know. So, like, you know, you're giving an 11 year old access to the Internet. So I started learning about astrology that way and it just happened. My mother offhandedly once one day said, oh, you and grandma both have the same birthday. So we're born February 22nd. And you know, that's just on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces. And she says, you're both Aquarius. And I looked it up because I didn't know what that meant. And my parents aren't into astrology at all. So it's funny that my mom would say something like that. Turns out I'm a Pisces. But.
Harry Hamlin
So wait a minute, so you're right. Must be right on the edge.
Danny Santos
I'm on the cusp.
Harry Hamlin
So when somebody's right on the edge, is it time zones? What is it? Is it the rotation of the Earth? Is it what? Well, how do you determine which zone is which?
Danny Santos
Yeah, the cusp is generally the 19th. That is the day that it switches from Aquarius to Pisces. So I'm a couple days after. But for someone like my mom, who doesn't know anything about astrology in her mind, like, oh, Aquarius.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, you know, okay.
Danny Santos
So I looked it up and then I started learning all of the signs, reading voraciously about it anytime we would go out to eat as a family. Like, I'm learning about the server zodiac sign. And how do I know other people with this sign? And it just became, did you ask them their birthday? Oh, anybody who knows me knows the first question out of my mouth is, what's your name? What's your zodiac sign?
Harry Hamlin
And well, okay, some people don't necessarily know their zodiac sign.
Danny Santos
Yeah, if they say, I don't know, I'm like, what days?
Harry Hamlin
They certainly wouldn't know, like their moon or their sun or stuff like that.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, the moon sign, you're gonna have to calculate it through a birth chart calculator. So the sun sign, you can just know by asking someone. But the same time that I started learning astrology was the same time as my sexual awakening. So you give a kid a computer in the room, and I remember I was googling things like grapes, apples, bananas, and then I typed in cans and a picture of a woman's chest popped up. And that was when I realized you can type anything into the Internet. So I started cans. Cans, hands or boobs? I guess so.
Harry Hamlin
I mean, oh, man, look at those cans.
Danny Santos
But, you know, heard that one. I. I didn't know I was gay at the time. And then I started looking into, you know, pictures of men and all of that, and then it just, like my gayness was awakened by the Internet, and I found a website called cult.com with all these muscle men, like.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah.
Danny Santos
And then. Then I realized I was gay, and I cried.
Harry Hamlin
So how old were you at that point?
Danny Santos
I was 11. It was the same time that I was studying astrology.
Harry Hamlin
So you're 11 years old. That's kind of when men, Boys, kind of begin to understand their sexuality.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
You know, I guess because I was spiriting away my brother's Playboys. I had no question about that.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Harry Hamlin
You're 11 years old. You make these discoveries about astrology and about your sexuality. Are you by any chance aware of a movie that I made when I was much younger?
Danny Santos
Yes. You were, like, one of the first people to portray a gay character in a movie. The first. The first. Okay.
Harry Hamlin
First in a big studio movie.
Danny Santos
It was 1981, if I remember correctly.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah, I think it was 81 or 82.
Danny Santos
Okay.
Harry Hamlin
One of those two years it came out.
Danny Santos
Remind me the title of the film, Making Love. Okay.
Harry Hamlin
The film. Yeah. And it was. So to this day, people come up to me on a weekly basis where? In the market or wherever I go. Thank you so much for making that movie. So I'm really proud of. Of making that film. In 1980, we made it, which was kind of way before its time. Yeah.
Danny Santos
Thank you for the contribution to my community.
Harry Hamlin
Well, you know, and certainly it became a contribution. You're right, it did. It became a contribution. But now I need you to contribute to my understanding of astrology.
Danny Santos
Sure, sure.
Harry Hamlin
Continue with your story.
Danny Santos
Okay. Oh, with my own journey of astrology.
Harry Hamlin
With your own journey of astrology. I want to hear that.
Danny Santos
Sure. So after I started discovering astrology, it got to the point where I'm in Catholic school and they're teaching us. Like, they would bring all the kids into the chapel and tell you, like, oh, if you. If you're gay, if you believe in astrology, or if you do tarot cards, you're gonna burn in hell. So there was, like, all of this pressure, like, all of the cornerstones of my identity were kind of being shamed. So once I graduated high school, I got into college, and I went to Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and then I transferred to USC film school.
Harry Hamlin
So you studied film. That's right. I saw that.
Danny Santos
So I graduated with a degree in cinema and media studies, and I would integrate astrology into my film papers.
Harry Hamlin
So how would you do that? Give me an example of how you would integrate astrology into a paper about film.
Danny Santos
Sure. So are you familiar with the movie Drive by Ryan Gosling or with Ryan Gosling?
Harry Hamlin
Yes, I am.
Danny Santos
So he has the scorpion on his back. So. And on the jacket. So I talk about the themes of death, sex, transformation, rebirth, like, and I would integrate the astrology behind it and the virtue and the master lesson and master teachers of Scorpio. And, you know, so I wrote a critical theory analysis using astrology as the framework. But. But dissecting the film from a philosophical and spiritual psychological lens, is that right?
Harry Hamlin
Yeah, I would love to read that.
Danny Santos
Oh, my gosh.
Harry Hamlin
Somebody was able to take those themes and interject them into Drive, of all things.
Danny Santos
It's. It's all right there, you know?
Harry Hamlin
Love it. I love it. So the Scorpio on his back kind of relates to me. I'm a Scorpio. But you use the word sex, death, and all of these other words around the scorpion, and I go, wait a minute, am I.
Danny Santos
Okay, well, so in your birth chart, you have the sun, the moon, and Mercury all in Scorpio.
Harry Hamlin
Wow.
Danny Santos
So it's not common to see those three placements in one sign. Now, in my birth chart, I have the sun, moon in Mercury, in Pisces. So you and I are a bit more of a rare breed compared to most people because the sun represents the ego, the moon represents the id, and Mercury represents our mind, our communication style, our psychology, and how we speak, how we socialize.
Harry Hamlin
So if you have all of those three things combined into one astrological sign.
Danny Santos
You'Re going to be more authentic.
Harry Hamlin
Those seem to be the three things that people actually all rely on, right?
Danny Santos
Yeah. Yeah. That's who we are. Who you are on the inside and how you present yourself outwardly are going to be more congruent than most people.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, it's less of a mask.
Danny Santos
Yes, yes. It's more of a. Like, you get straight to the person, and it's like what you see is what you get, you know? So there's not a lot of smoke and mirrors going on with this kind of placement. Now, being a Scorpio, this is the most private sign of the zodiac, maybe rivaling Cancer for that title. But Scorpio is the virtue of change. So more than any other sign, Scorpios are familiar with having to Reinvent themselves dealing with themes like death.
Harry Hamlin
Well, I had an experience once and I've talked about it on this show when I was in a horrible car accident.
Danny Santos
Oh, my God.
Harry Hamlin
When I was 19 years old and I was asleep in the passenger seat. My girlfriend was driving the car. We hit an oncoming station wagon.
Danny Santos
Oh, my God.
Harry Hamlin
And I was asleep. I woke up two seconds before that we were gonna hit. And I had the most extraordinary sensation of peace and calmness. And so I'm wondering how that relates to that sensation that you were talking about.
Danny Santos
Sure.
Harry Hamlin
You know.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Well, we think about Scorpio. So I'm currently writing a book about astrology. I'll preface this really quickly. It's called 12 Steps, 12 Signs and Astrologer's guide to Recovery. So it's combining the 12 step program of like, AA, Al, Anon, ACA, Coda, whatever program a person might do, and then teaching them how to walk the 12 steps while also learning how to shape shift and learn the virtues and the toolkit of each sign of the zodiac. So I talked.
Harry Hamlin
Let's rewind a little bit. Shapeshift. Okay, okay, I get the other stuff. Shapeshift something. Merlin was a shapeshifter.
Danny Santos
Yeah, I love Merlin. He was a Scorpio too.
Harry Hamlin
How do you know?
Danny Santos
I asked Chatgpt and I was like, what sign are you, Merlin? And he said scorpion, which I believe it. Merlin. If you're here spiritually with me, I believe it. I believe Merlin would be a scorpion.
Harry Hamlin
I've been writing a script about Merlin for the last 25 years.
Danny Santos
He's with you?
Harry Hamlin
Really?
Danny Santos
Yeah, he's got it. Come on. He's got to be your guide.
Harry Hamlin
He's. Well, I mean, I just did a big reading last week of. Of this script and for an audience and they loved it. So. Yeah, I mean, maybe. Maybe Merlin is my guide.
Danny Santos
You know, I wouldn't doubt it. You might have, like, the asteroid Merlin very prominent in your birth chart somewhere.
Harry Hamlin
So the asteroid. Is there an asteroid called Merlin?
Danny Santos
I'm. There's got to be. I mean, there's. There's like 20,000 asteroids.
Harry Hamlin
So they've just discovered a lot more. This new telescope. The telescope, yes. They've just discovered a lot more asteroids.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah. Do got to shout out. My friend and teacher, Amy Angelo. She does these readings called the Altar of the Asteroid readings. Maybe I can gift you one, Harry, and she can look to see if you got Merlin in a prominent position.
Harry Hamlin
Well, wouldn't that be amazing?
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Merlin has been a big part of my life for many, many years because I've been writing this story. I studied Jungian psychology in college and the guy who was my professor was the actually the head of the Jungian Institute in Baron, Switzerland and he and I concocted this story using all the Jungian archetypes and so and Mer being shapeshifter and a trickster was the main guy and so he's the main guy in the story. I also talk to some of our favorite celebs and reality TV stars. We talk about what's going on. Tune in every Tuesday and just feel like you're talking with your best friends in your living room.
Harry Hamlin
So I just wanted to go back to shape shifting. So how can we shape shift? How can you teach us to shape?
Danny Santos
Yeah, well, that's what my 12 step program is about. So I'm looking to create a more neutral version of the 12 steps. So rather than saying we admitted that we were powerful over alcoholism, I want to change it to be like, we admitted we are powerless over addiction and dysfunction because it's not always alcoholism that someone's suffering with. And if we can create a. I started a faith based organization, Santos and the Crystal Visions. And I'm hoping to create a way that people can come together universally regardless of religion, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and to learn the tenets of astrology as their life coaching tools of life. So the point is, as you learn each step, the goal is to make it so that step one is one month long, step two is one month long, and you're going to learn the tools, the virtues, the lessons of each sign of the zodiac so that, you know, all right, it's Virgo season. I gotta shape shift into my Virgo or I gotta, you know, Mercury's retrograding in Leo. So I'm gonna have to review my Leo virtue and my My fifth step. Or.
Harry Hamlin
Wow. So. So starting with what month would be the starting point? Or is it your own?
Danny Santos
Aries.
Harry Hamlin
Aries.
Danny Santos
It's the first sign of the zodiac. It's the beginning of the lunar new year.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, so you start with. So in the month of Aries, I being a Scorpio, I would want to find a way to shape shift into more of an Aries for that month. Is that how that works?
Danny Santos
Well, it's just note that the sun is going to shine a light on a certain part over someone's birth chart. Because the sun is, you know, the Helios, the God of light energy.
Harry Hamlin
I mean, without the energy of the sun or the stars, the fusion energy of the universe, we would not exist.
Danny Santos
Exactly. So in your birth chart, Aries rules your eighth house. So it's going to shine a light over eighth house themes for you.
Harry Hamlin
How many houses do I have?
Danny Santos
Everybody has 12 houses. Okay, so there's 12 houses in each birth chart. There's like approximately. I think it's like nine or ten significant planets that go into each chart. Planets or placements? There's a career sign. There's a rising sign. There's a romantic love and partnership sign. There's a personal life sign.
Harry Hamlin
I've heard about the rising sign. And I've heard about the moon sign. Your moon is in such. And you've got such and such a rising sign. I didn't know about these other planets. Do they have an equivalent effect?
Danny Santos
Absolutely.
Harry Hamlin
Rising sign, for example.
Danny Santos
Yeah. What I'm describing right now would be the angles. So the ascendant or the rising sign is opposite the descendant. So the ascendant is you. It's your mouthpiece or entry point into the world. The descendant is who you naturally partner with, whether that's romantically, professionally, business partners, or business ventures. You know, all of the above.
Harry Hamlin
So whomever we're having the pleasure with.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
For whatever reason, they also are determined by or in somehow enhanced by the effect of these other planets.
Danny Santos
Yes, because you're a Virgo rising in your birth chart. So Scorpio, sun, Scorpio, moon, Virgo rising. So the sun sign is like what you are. The moon sign is what's going on on the inside. The rising sign is how you're packaged.
Harry Hamlin
So if I'm both Scorpio for moon and sun, then that's kind of a lot of Scorpio. That's a lot of death and sex and stuff.
Danny Santos
Yes, it is.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, so tell me, am I going to be okay?
Danny Santos
Well, if the virtue of Scorpio has change. We can think that in my book, I've submitted a proposal for my 12 steps, 12 signs. I'm waiting to hear back, but I'm creating these flowcharts to show like, okay, here's the sign, here's the step. If you want to ascend to the higher virtue, you got to do this. If you want to descend, you got to do this.
Harry Hamlin
Who would want to descend?
Danny Santos
Well, nobody wants to descend. But in order to learn, the lowest part of the chart is the master teacher. So we're going to be schooled or taught by this lowest vibration in order to get to the master lesson.
Harry Hamlin
So a little bit like, I think it was, one of the great existentialists could have been Kierkegaard, who said, life begins on the far side of despair.
Danny Santos
Oh, yes.
Harry Hamlin
So.
Danny Santos
And despair is the lowest vibration of cancer.
Harry Hamlin
That's. Well, I mean, you know, the idea being that, you know, when we have trauma in our life, when we hit our bottom, whatever, when. That's when we begin to actually learn to be human.
Danny Santos
Yes, yes.
Harry Hamlin
And it certainly has happened to me in my life. I had moments and some very, very, very deep moments of pain, emotional pain, which drove me to the course in miracles and to have that spiritual awakening. So, I mean, for those of you who haven't had that yet, it's coming, and when it does come, it's going to feel really painful. But on the other side of that, that could be the greatest gift you've ever gotten in your life. Just saying.
Danny Santos
Amen. Bottoming out can be. It's the turning point of someone's life, and it's oftentimes a Scorpio moment.
Harry Hamlin
A Scorpio moment.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
If we think about the lower vibration of Scorpio, once we get into the shadow of the sign, Scorpio is going to reveal things like trauma, instability, secrecy, the darkness. And the lowest vibration of Scorpio. Oh, death also goes with Scorpio. The lowest vibration is chaos. So people who are Scorpio oftentimes will face being born into a family dynamic that is messy. They have done nothing wrong. It's just simply that through generational inheritances, ancestral lineage, the trauma of the family. Scorpios are the garbage men of the zodiac. So they're ruled by the sacral chakra and the root chakra. This is where the elimination systems of the body lie. So when we think about the sign, they're coming to clean something up. So a Scorpio is going to be assigned to the most chaotic, the most traumatic the most clogged ancestral lineage, and they're here to create change.
Harry Hamlin
So if I was born into a dysfunctional family as a Scorpio, as a double Scorpio.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Well, triple, because you got Mercury there, too.
Harry Hamlin
Well, it's a triples triple. Whatever I am, was I born into that family? Because that was what I needed to learn. I needed to learn how to cope with that. In other words, I was given to this family by the universe, which said, okay, here you're going to be raised by these people. These people are going to have these issues. You're going to have to learn how to deal with these issues because you're going to raise your own family and you don't want to take those same issues into the future.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Is that what's going on?
Danny Santos
Well, to have three planets in Scorpio like that, you're certainly here. Like the sun represents the ego and the relationship to the father. The moon represents the id, the instincts, the relationship to the mother. So to have those both conjunct in your chart, it looks like mom and dad are pretty close. There's going to be some level of intimacy between them, but it's in Scorpio, so there could be change there, too. Transformation, intensity. The high virtues of Scorpio are going to be things like transformation, judgment, sexuality, eroticism, desire, and the ultimate virtue of Scorpio. The master lesson is rebirth. So for you to be born into a family that might have dysfunction, you're here to help create rebirth. You're here to. Scorpio is the sign of ego death. So it's to say I was born into this and I'm not going to hold onto this. I'm going to change the trauma. I'm going to reinvent the story. I'm going to shed the trauma of my ancestors and become myself outside of the circumstances that I was born into.
Harry Hamlin
Well, this is exactly the journey that I have been on Scorpio. Yeah, my parents were not functional in that sense, in the sense of classic functionality in the family. There was a lot of alcoholism, a lot of ego, a lot of narcissism, a lot of. Yeah, a lot of that. And so, yeah, I think that the. The journey that I've been on has been to reverse the trend which has been going on for generations, because I know what my family was like. My. My great, great grandfather was a huge industrialist in the 1800s and very, very, very, very wealthy. All of that money is gone now.
Danny Santos
Yeah, but.
Harry Hamlin
But they were extremely wealthy in that time and lived pretty debauched. Lives. I'm pretty sure there was a lot of death from car accidents.
Danny Santos
Interesting.
Harry Hamlin
Even though cars had just been invented.
Danny Santos
And you were in a car accident that you almost had a.
Harry Hamlin
Very, very bad. I thought I was going to die. As a matter of fact, I oftentimes think that if we think about many worlds or we think about the whole idea of multiverses and the collapsing of the wave function, if you know what that is in quantum mechanics.
Danny Santos
I don't, so you might have to educate me.
Harry Hamlin
Well, all. All energetic particles have what's called a wave function. It was something that a guy named Heisenberg came up with in terms of prediction. So you can predict where a particle might be, you can estimate where a particle might be, but you could never actually see the particle where it is because just by looking at it, you change its trajectory and its velocity. All these things. So, anyway, so what does it mean that I have three houses in Scorpio, whatever they are.
Danny Santos
Okay, so the sun in Scorpio is the relationship to the father. The moon is the relationship to the mother. Scorpio is a virtue. The master lesson of rebirth. So you're here to clear both mom and Dad's ancestral lineage, trauma and baggage. Sometimes I like to imagine it as, like, spirits from the other side are looking down on us, and they're like, they are not doing it right. So you are like, I'm going to go in there and clean this shit up, without question.
Harry Hamlin
And that's what I've done with my family. You know, I was asked years ago what my legacy. I wanted my legacy to be. And I've mentioned on this show before that I started a fusion energy company in the 90s. And my. I wanted my legacy to be creating a whole new way to make electricity for the planet Earth. And I thought that would be a great legacy to leave behind, you know, and then. And then over time, I realized that actually the best legacy I can leave is exactly what we're talking about. To remove that kind of toxic familial trajectory that my family has had for generations and to just stop that and to go, wait a minute, there's another way to live life. There's another way to be more compassionate, to be more empathetic, to be more understanding, to be more tolerant, all of those things that my parents were not. And I said, I'm going to inject that now into our family dynamic going forward. And it has worked.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And I spent 20 years essentially raising my kids with that in mind. And my kids are now thriving and.
Danny Santos
They have no addiction.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, okay, so they have no addiction. So, as a matter of fact, one. My. My eldest daughter thought that she might be susceptible to addiction and checked herself into rehab before she ever got addicted.
Danny Santos
Well, then you did your job, my friend.
Harry Hamlin
I guess so.
Danny Santos
As a Scorpio, you cleared the trauma of the bloodline, and you made the lives of the people after you clean.
Harry Hamlin
Well, I decided that my legacy would not be a new energy form for humans. It would be my children. And thank God my kids are at the top of their professions right now. So I'm very happy about it. And not addicted.
Danny Santos
Not addicted. Well, in astrology, we think there are three signs of the zodiac that are responsible for purification. So Scorpio being one of them. That's purification through distillation.
Harry Hamlin
Interesting.
Danny Santos
Virgo, which is your rising sign. Mars and Venus in your birth chart, which is purification through cleanliness. And then Pisces, which is your destiny sign. It's the sign that you're here to eat or take in the qualities of. To master, to develop within yourself. And Pisces is distillation by knowing the darkness and still choosing the light. It's like just enduring the darkness rather than distilling it.
Harry Hamlin
So when you say distill the darkness. Darkness, describe what that means.
Danny Santos
What a Scorpio does is they almost like energetically eat the darkness.
Harry Hamlin
What?
Danny Santos
Like they just. It goes through you. You have to experience all of it yourself. And then you have to, like, excuse my French, but shit. Or shed it out.
Harry Hamlin
So. So I. I embrace the darkness.
Danny Santos
Well, in the. In the book that I'm writing, I talk about how each sign of the zodiac has its own relationship to light and darkness.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
Scorpio is just the darkness. Darkness, yeah, it's the dark. The sign before it, Libra, is like the gateway to the underworld. By the time we get to Scorpio, it's the underworld, we're in the dark.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. So I've always known there was. You know, because it's a scorpion. We all have this idea of scorpions and all that, that my birth sign being Scorpio, there was something kind of maybe dark about it or something kind of foreboding or mysterious or something like that. Though I've never been. It's never been proven to me that that's exist.
Danny Santos
Well, the point of my book, 12 Steps, 12 Signs, is talking about how the 12 signs each have an entry point to get to the light. So Scorpio, if it's just the darkness, it's to say the darkness is the Light.
Harry Hamlin
I get it. So that's easy. That's just like moving the goalposts, right?
Danny Santos
Yes. We're going to find the light through the darkness, but then the sign after that, Sagittarius, is the light in the darkness. So that one's like a riddle.
Harry Hamlin
I guess so. All right. So am I going to be okay?
Danny Santos
Well, you absolutely are going to be okay. And in fact, the next year of your life is a really important year because destiny's moving through Pisces, which is your destiny sign. And next year, it's going to hit that central point of your chart. So destiny is going to revisit you. This happens once every 18 years. So there's a new chapter of your life that's being opened.
Harry Hamlin
So did something happen 18 years ago.
Danny Santos
That would be the last time that we're seeing this North Node in Pisces transiting over where it was when you were born. So the North Node is synonymous with your destiny or the qualities that you're here to ingest or take in or learn from.
Harry Hamlin
So the node thing, are there south nodes?
Danny Santos
There's a south node as well. And yours would be? Virgo.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, so is the North Node, is it something that we follow, something that we understand, something that is part of us? What is it?
Danny Santos
So the way that I view it, being an astrological philosopher and learning astrology, writing about it, is that the North Node is the cornerstone of your soul's development. It has a lot to do with your soul contract. So people that you meet who are on top of that North Node in that sign, or when there are major transits of planets or different things going on, it's always going to activate a part of you that you need to take in. So because you have all this Scorpio and you're here to distill and eliminate all of the darkness within the bloodline, your North Node in Pisces means the virtue of Pisces is love. The shadow of Pisces, the stuff that you're going to have to eat to help liquidate in this world is going to be things like disorganization, addiction, dissociation, avoidance. We're also going to see things like fear. Fear is more of a Gemini thing, which you do have Gemini as your career sign. So you might know a little bit about fear there, but you know more about peace in your work and media and communication. Well, that makes sense, yeah, because you got a Gemini career placement. So it's someone who's typically in front of the camera or doing multiple jobs or this kind of stuff. But the Pisces stuff, the dissociation, the neglect. The lowest vibration of Pisces is neglect. Okay, so you're here to eat. Neglect, addiction, dissociation, fantasy, seeking the overindulgent side of Pisces.
Harry Hamlin
So the epicurean side of Pisces. Yes, that's what I'm here to.
Danny Santos
Somehow you gotta eat it.
Harry Hamlin
Is distill it. Like eat it, shit it out and then be done with it.
Danny Santos
Yes, because your south node is where we shit it out. So that's Virgo.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
Virgo is the virtue of order.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, what are my marching orders then? So to take in this darkness. Which is what exactly?
Danny Santos
Well, the darkness that you're here to take in. You're an energetic being and necessary part of the world. Like an organism in the anima mundi that needs to be used for you. It's specifically to eat. The neglect, the dissociation, the addiction, the dysfunction, all of that.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, I get it. No, I don't get it. Let's talk about what that means. To eat. The addiction. To eat. The dysfunction.
Danny Santos
Yes.
Harry Hamlin
So I'm here to experience it. Is that eating it? Am I inviting dysfunction into my life in order?
Danny Santos
Well, you were born into it.
Harry Hamlin
Well, born into. Yeah, my family was pretty.
Danny Santos
You had to eat it, right? When I say eat, I mean just like exist in it, take it in. There's no escape. Like that was a child.
Harry Hamlin
No, there was no escape. Okay. Into my mind, into my fantasy world. I escaped. Yes.
Danny Santos
Yeah. And that's often when people are neglected. The master teacher of Pisces, they become very dreamy, you know, so when always.
Harry Hamlin
When I was in school, people always. The teachers sent home the same note to my parents all the time, not paying attention. Daydreaming class. Daydreaming in class, you know?
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And all I did was like, I didn't want to know what an integer was. I wanted to think about rainbows and unicorns.
Danny Santos
Well, I have my sun moon in Mercury in Pisces. So I had the same experience as a kid. You know, I was a full fledged psychic medium in class. And I didn't know that this was true, that that was my experience until four months ago when my mentor Demona Hoffman bought me classes with Colby Rebel, who's a psychic medium teacher. And now I'm doing full blown events where I'm reading people in the audience and like.
Harry Hamlin
Is that right?
Danny Santos
Yes. Calling forward people's ancestors and like delivering messages from the other side, like, so.
Harry Hamlin
What do you call that power? If it's a power or what gift that you have?
Danny Santos
Evidential mediumship.
Harry Hamlin
Evidential mediumship. Okay, so and is that something like you can read an aura or you. How do you.
Danny Santos
That's.
Harry Hamlin
Where does that come into you?
Danny Santos
So with my work with ayahuasca, it's really opened up my ability to like have visions in my mind. So doing the evidential mediumship, you can see like people's loved ones on the other side coming through. And then you begin having a non verbal conversation with them. And then they're going to give you pieces of evidence in order to make sure that you're validating for the person you're reading for that it is in fact your loved one on the other side. They are with you, they're delivering a message, they're watching over your life. So it's an amazing skill. I mean, I'm only like four months into it, but I'm already doing events and working with clients one on one. So.
Harry Hamlin
So, okay, so this whole, that whole thing presupposes as. As Hamlet. And I played Hamlet once and quite.
Danny Santos
Successfully, but a very Scorpio story, by the way.
Harry Hamlin
Hamlet, well, I remember some of the great lines that I got to say as Hamlet. One of them was, there are more things, Horatio, in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy. Wow. So. Meaning that what we see in, you know, in the macro world and then years and years, hundreds of years later, quantum mechanics proved that Hamlet was absolutely right.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
But so for you taking on this challenge, I guess you might call it, of being a medium. And what did you call it?
Danny Santos
Evidential.
Harry Hamlin
Evidential medium presupposes that there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy. And that is that soul, spirit continues in some realm that is unseen to us at a frequency that we can't see, given our natural frequency. Unless you have the gift that you have of being an evidentiary medium, which I don't have that gift. Well, maybe I do.
Danny Santos
You might be able to do it, develop it, if you trained it.
Harry Hamlin
If I trained. I don't know. I mean, I have learned over time as a performer that there are things that I never thought I could do that I ended up being able to do by practicing enough. So maybe that's possible.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
So how does it feel to be an evidentiary medium? Medium.
Danny Santos
Oh my God, it's really cool. And I gotta tell you, my parents are both Virgos, which is the opposite sign of Pisces. So they're both medical doctors. They're Both practical, logical people. I showed them my showcase from my class that I did recently where I, like, knocked it out of the park. I did a really good job pulling forward this woman's very conservative mother and, like, delivering a message that her mother approved of her polyamorous relationship. And like, it. It was like a 10 out of 10. I did a good job.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, really?
Danny Santos
And my dad was like, I don't believe in this.
Harry Hamlin
Really.
Danny Santos
So, you know, it's interesting. You're born into the family that. That you're going to experience the most. The most growth from. So me as their son, like, you know, they're. They're not very magical people. They're more Muggles and doctors. And then I'm over here, like the astrologer. Ayahuasca, shaman, medium, all of that.
Harry Hamlin
Good for you for breaking that molding. My parents were very. Were pragmatic. My father was a rocket scientist. Oh, my God, that rocket there.
Danny Santos
No way.
Harry Hamlin
Saturn 5 was his rocket. That was the one that went to the moon. So. But he's, you know, he was a total pragmatist and not a philosopher in any way and an alcoholic and.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah.
Harry Hamlin
You know, all of the things that you don't want to be in life, but he was a brilliant rocket scientist, you know, so. But yeah, I had to. I had to figure out how to, you know, have great pride in the fact that my father was kind of a genius.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
At the same time know that the way he lived his life was completely wrong.
Danny Santos
Well, I just think that the universe purposely puts the personalities that, like, are the most different together in family because you're going to learn the most. So what my parents are learning is full acceptance of someone who has a completely different walk of life. And what I'm learning is, like, you don't necessarily need to get the approval of your parents to live your life purpose.
Harry Hamlin
Right. And then were your parents accepting of your sexuality, too?
Danny Santos
That took some time for them to come around, too. You know, there's so many parts of my identity that I think for them, Catholic, conservative, Cuban parents. I'm first generation Cuban American.
Harry Hamlin
Cuban Catholic? Are you kidding me? I mean. Yeah. Okay. You had an uphill battle with them.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Didn't you?
Danny Santos
I'm here for it, though. Like, I love my parents, too. Like, we're. We're on amazing. Like, I love them dearly.
Harry Hamlin
And I'm so glad that that worked out because I have a friend of mine who works on the show. I do in New Orleans. I do the show for AMC called Mayfair Witches. And there's a guy on the crew who lives in Shreveport who, when he came out, his parents ostracized him, his entire community ostracized him. He cannot even go back to Shreveport, Louisiana, because if he's seen there, he's like. People, like, throw rocks at him.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Because he's gay.
Danny Santos
Because he's gay. Yeah. Whereas my parents, like, fully embrace me. They've met my past relationships, like, oh, I. I love my parents beyond. Like, they've given me everything. And they paid for me to go to USC film school, so. Oh, you know, like.
Harry Hamlin
Like, there you go.
Danny Santos
So they might not believe in evidential mediumship, but they're on board with the ayahuasca and the astrology.
Harry Hamlin
But, you know, they're on board with the ayahuasca.
Danny Santos
Yeah, I mean, they won't do it.
Harry Hamlin
But, you know, I've not. I've not done ayahuasca. I've. I have a lot of friends who have done it, and one of them said that they did the whole nine yards. They stopped drinking, they stopped eating meat. They did. They were vegan. They did whatever.
Danny Santos
Done all that.
Harry Hamlin
Whatever you do leading up to it.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And did it with a couple of people and felt nothing.
Danny Santos
Whoa.
Harry Hamlin
Yes.
Danny Santos
They call that the nada.
Harry Hamlin
The nada.
Danny Santos
The nada.
Harry Hamlin
Why would that happen? So is the people he was with felt everything.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
They all had the same dose. They all went through the same ritual.
Danny Santos
Were they awake and nothing happened to them?
Harry Hamlin
Well, they. I mean, there was. They had, you know, the other people had, like, vomit and bowel movements and stuff like that. He. He said he only, as my friend said, he only had vomited, but. But hours afterwards. But didn't have anything and felt no.
Danny Santos
Probably needed to do it a couple more times because there could have been something in the gut that, like the lining of the gut and the microbiome that was being pulled out, you know, because if you've got, like, too much grease or I don't know the exact specifics on why the gut can prevent it happening, but it can, you know, that's why you got to clean out so much beforehand. And it sounds like they did.
Harry Hamlin
But have you done LSD as well?
Danny Santos
I did do LSD once. I was, oh, my gosh, 20, and it was a really horrible experience. Oh, I had PTSD for nine months afterwards. Yeah, it was really rough. And I had to, like, go to therapy and I did Bikram yoga, like, 60 day challenge. I had to, like, sweat it out of me, really. Oh, yeah, it was, it was. I don't really recommend lsd. I think like something like mushrooms or ayahuasca because it's more natural or synthetic.
Harry Hamlin
I would like to try ayahuasca someday. And like I said, I've got a lot of friends who've done it. And I did take LSD inadvertently when.
Danny Santos
Wow.
Harry Hamlin
It's an odd story where a Hell's Angel. Basically he said, open your mouth and he threw a pill in my mouth.
Danny Santos
Oh my God.
Harry Hamlin
It's just. That's a story. I've told the story here on the show. Yeah, yeah, listen to it. They've heard it before. But I remember it was fantastic experience. Yeah, it was. I would. I highly recommend it because my experience.
Danny Santos
Look, all I can say is the people I was with when I did it with probably weren't in the best mind frame. And I'm a very porous and sensitive individual. And this is before any of my shaman training, any of my education about demons and demonology and all that. And it's like the demon that was in that guy jumped into me and I stuck with it for nine months. So I had to learn, you know, to get it off.
Harry Hamlin
So sorry about that because, you know, it is. It does open the doors of perception for some people and it certainly did for me. And I always wished that I had got. If I had just gotten my brother to take it, which he wouldn't do. He was very conservative and he would not take it. And he died an alcoholic, bereft of everything, and he died with nothing. If he had just taken acid when he was a kid, could have opened it would have. His life would have been, I believe, and gone in an entirely different direction. But then again, maybe it just had that effect for me. Sort of turn. Turn me on to a whole new way of looking at the world, as I'm sure ayahuasca does for the. You know, for people who take ayahuasca and do it the right way and, you know, without doing it. Recreation. I suppose some people do ayahuasca recreationally, but.
Danny Santos
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend that.
Harry Hamlin
No. Right.
Danny Santos
I mean, it's like a very serious religious ceremony or spiritual ceremony, if you don't want to use the word religious.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah. I like the distinction between spiritual and religious.
Danny Santos
I mean, my faith based organization, I think call it more of a spiritual entity because I don't. Religion just has a very strange connotation.
Harry Hamlin
It does. Strange and dangerous.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And people die. Blood is spilled. I mean, come on.
Danny Santos
So the holy wars.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. But Spiritual is a whole different thing altogether. And I love the idea of faith because I think faith plays a much bigger role in our lives than we actually acknowledge.
Danny Santos
Absolutely.
Harry Hamlin
Not necessarily faith in a particular God, but faith that the universe is going to provide, that the universe is kind and compassionate and wants the best for us.
Danny Santos
Absolutely. And with your destiny in Pisces, love is the virtue. The higher virtues of Pisces are going to be faith, trust, forgiveness, apology, creativity, redemption, devotion. And then the highest vibration of Pisces is love again, which is transcendence, which is love, which is transcendent. Like, there's no cap on it.
Harry Hamlin
In my opinion, having studied what I have studied and had the experiences that I have had, I believe that there is only one thing in the universe. There's only love.
Danny Santos
Love is the greatest force in the universe. That's in my book.
Harry Hamlin
And I don't think there's anything else. I mean, I think everything else you could look at and go, well, there's evil here. I don't believe in evil myself. I believe that evil acts, evil behavior is engendered by fear, and that really, the other thing on the other side of love is fear. But I also believe that fear is an illusion.
Danny Santos
100%. And in my book, I talk about these master teachers. The Devil is literally the master teacher of Capricorn.
Harry Hamlin
What does that mean? The master teacher of Capricorn.
Danny Santos
So each sign, if you have something in a particular sign, you don't have any Capricorn, so you won't feel this personally necessarily. But each sign has its master teacher. And these teachers are trying to get us to learn to love through a specific lens. That's the point. That's the point of the 12 steps. You're trying to learn how to do love through this spectrum.
Harry Hamlin
I see.
Danny Santos
So the Devil, you know, the devil is going to have to do with issues with the Father. Facing your own devil, you know, your greatest temptation, the thing that is the hardest thing for you to get over, it's learning, resilience and endurance and responsibility. The Devil is just a teacher in mythology, I believe he's also referenced as Samael. And his purpose is to tempt people out of their sin and, like, almost torture them through their sin so that they're forest or be begging for redemption.
Harry Hamlin
So the word sin, though, what is sin in this context? Is this being mean, being bad?
Danny Santos
Well, sin literally translates to miss the mark.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
That's like what the word actually means to sin means you just missed the mark.
Harry Hamlin
You didn't hit the bullseye.
Danny Santos
You didn't get the bullseye. Think of Sagittarius. It's the archer, it's the master teacher of Sagittarius is demonstration.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
For Capricorn, it's the devil, because you're dealing with the dark. Dark, you know? But Sagittarius, you're going to shoot your arrow. Sometimes you miss the mark.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
You always get a chance to try.
Harry Hamlin
Again, you know, so in Catholicism, you definitely get a chance to try. You just have to go into that little room.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Well, tell them what you did and. Oh, you're okay. Just say a couple things and you don't, you know.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Say three Hail Marys to our fathers. You know, spill some holy water.
Harry Hamlin
I've always wondered about that. I've always thought. Okay, so that really lets you off the hook pretty easy.
Danny Santos
I'm going to tell you. That works. From my experience, if you just ask for the redemption, it'll happen. And with Capricorn, if the master teacher is the devil, the master lesson is God. Capricorn is the divine masculine sign of the zodiac. So it comes in three flavors. The lowest being the devil, the neutral being the father, like your actual dad or relationship to fathers. And then the highest level is the heavenly father. So people born in Capricorn, you're up against a. That's like a harder life path. When your destiny's in Capricorn because you're going, it's the sign of finding yourself, finding your purpose, having to move away from your family, becoming your own entity, doing it yourself.
Harry Hamlin
So am I consider myself lucky not being in Capricorn?
Danny Santos
Well, you. Capricorn rules your fifth house, so we have all of it in our chart. So for you, you're finding yourself through your ego, your personality, your identity. Your ego truly crystallizes the older you get because it's Capricorn rules the ego house of your chart.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, so I've been trying to gently nudge my ego into the passenger seat for the last 30 or 40 years.
Danny Santos
It's not going to work.
Harry Hamlin
No.
Danny Santos
You're supposed to be the driver, my friend.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, boy. Okay. All right, then. That takes a lot of pressure off.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. Come on back. You can drive the car.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah. But your destiny being in Pisces, when we see people with this placement, we're going to see actors, writers, musicians, performers.
Harry Hamlin
Creatives.
Danny Santos
Creatives.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
You know, because your south node is Virgo, So you developed order and detail orientedness, having issues with control, knowing how to be masterful and detail oriented through, like, elegance, gracefulness, cleanliness, excellence. You got all that stuff down. Destiny wise, you're here to learn. All right, I'm going to take in the things I love. I'm going to take in creativity. I'm going to take in the arts. I'm going to take in forgiveness and redemption. That's what I'm saying.
Harry Hamlin
Well, forgiveness and redemption were things that my parents didn't know, didn't understand. And they didn't understand compassion. And I'm not sure they understood love. I'm not sure that love was actually a part of their existence. They were more into achievement.
Danny Santos
Interesting. Were they Capricorns?
Harry Hamlin
My father was born in April and my mother was born in the end of January. My father was April 11th. My mother was January 29th. I don't know what those signs are.
Danny Santos
Father is an Aries, mother is an Aquarius. I mean, somewhat compatible. Aquarius has the virtue is not compatible.
Harry Hamlin
I'm sorry.
Danny Santos
All right.
Harry Hamlin
They were not compatible.
Danny Santos
All right?
Harry Hamlin
But they loved each other. I mean, I would go to my father, I'd say, why, why, why are you staying? She's screaming at you every night. What are you staying here for? You know, why don't you move on? He goes, you don't understand. So I love your mother. Okay, well, I mean, all the lot of broken plates, a lot of broken dishes, but you still love her. Okay, all right, you know, okay. But yeah, there was not, there was not a lot of that going on. A lot of compassion, love, understanding, tolerance.
Danny Santos
Which is why it's your north nose. The north node is the thing that you're like hungry for. You know, not only do you have to eat the qualities of it, but you're also like looking for it out in the world.
Harry Hamlin
I am.
Danny Santos
You want to touch Pisces things in this world you want to touch creativity, spirituality, transcendence, arts, creativity.

Danny Santos
Transcendental meditation. Yeah, I've done it a little bit. I need to get a teacher.
Harry Hamlin
TM does require a teacher.
Danny Santos
You need a teacher.
Harry Hamlin
I mean, you have to pay some money for it.
Danny Santos
I know I haven't gotten the chance to like do it full blast, but I have a friend who taught me a little bit, you know.
Harry Hamlin
Well, it was part of the curriculum when I was in acting school. We had, we were given a mantra and we had to do it. The head of this acting school was like a big TM person. Yeah, yeah, I got it for free. I didn't have to pay.
Danny Santos
Wow. I know. David lynch was like, David lynch was huge. Yes.
Harry Hamlin
I did a movie about meditation and his wife was one of the producers, I think.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah. I sat in a group of witches who taught me about meditation and they called it transcendental meditation.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, I see. Okay. Not TM like the.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's, you know, that's where I got my witchy covenant starting.
Harry Hamlin
Well, you have to look at my show, Mayfair Witches.
Danny Santos
I would love to. Anything with witches. I'm into.
Harry Hamlin
Well, Anne Rice, if you know of her.
Danny Santos
Yes.
Harry Hamlin
She wrote Interview with a Vampire. Yes.
Danny Santos
I read it in film school.
Harry Hamlin
And the Mayfair Witches was her most successful of all of her books. It's a three volume thing and that's what I do for amc, so that is so cool.
Danny Santos
Oh my gosh.
Harry Hamlin
We're starting season three in September. We start.
Danny Santos
What an honor. Thank you for having me on your podcast.
Harry Hamlin
Well, I mean, I think you'll enjoy it. If you're into witches and stuff like that, you'll enjoy it.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, I'm very much into it.
Harry Hamlin
You know, so am I gonna be okay?
Danny Santos
Well, absolutely. And like I said, the next Year of your life is going to reveal, like a major surge of the things that you love, the arts.
Harry Hamlin
So it's a good thing.
Danny Santos
You just had a three year window of having to review, neglect, and really ironing out the details and, like, the ways in which things might have been disorganized or not in full alignment. And now you're about to hit this window where it's like, boom, baby, we're.
Harry Hamlin
Going, well, we had, we had a pandemic and then we had a strike in our business, you know, so these two things combined for a double whammy, which. Yeah, everyone who does what I do in, in this town is going, what the, what just happened? You know, and we're all trying to deal with it. So I'm very glad to hear that the next year is going to be a little bit more kind of maybe. I don't know how you would define it. More crystalline.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Crystallization is a good word.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
You know, and because it's Pisces, the virtue of love, you're going to bring more love into your life or bring more of what you love doing into your life. You know, Pisces is the sign of, like, celebrity and larger than life and magical, whimsical.
Harry Hamlin
Well, all of those things happen to be part of my life. But you mentioned the word demon a while ago.
Danny Santos
Yes.
Harry Hamlin
Now I want to explore that a little. So what's a demon?
Danny Santos
Well, a demon, I think is an energetic vibration that is created through someone's dysfunction. And I think I have done exorcism work.
Harry Hamlin
I saw that. I saw that exorcism was a word.
Danny Santos
That came up, and I'm very passionate about that work.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, so tell me about that. I mean, so, I mean, we all remember the movie, right?
Danny Santos
Yeah. Oh, that's my favorite movie. That's why I wanted to become an exorcist, baby.
Harry Hamlin
So. Really? Okay, so have you had experiences like that?
Danny Santos
Nothing quite that crazy, but. Well, in an ayahuasca ceremony, you. I, I have witnessed that level of. Maybe not the head turning around in the pea soup coming out of the mouth, but like those noises in hell. Yeah, yeah. Yes, yes. God bless her heart, Reagan, in the movie. No, but I, I have heard people make demonic noises like that in Ceremony. I myself have had those kinds of noises come out of me from a ceremony. But even outside of ayahuasca ceremonies, I have done exorcism work. And there is a particular case of a woman who lived in Bakersfield, California, and I worked with her over the course of Four months I went to her home, I blessed every single doorway. And this woman had like literally everything that somebody could have to be a victim of demonic possession. She had.
Harry Hamlin
What did she have? What was it like?
Danny Santos
So she had a home where she was doing Airbnb. So in the lower floor of the house, people were constantly coming in and out of the house. So that's going to be a lot of energy moving through the house. She had mystical objects from all over the world. So in the Airbnb in, in her house. I mean, the, the house she did Airbnb out of. So she was living in the same house that she was having guests that she did not know coming in and out.
Harry Hamlin
Were the guests exposed to these artifacts?
Danny Santos
I'm not too sure about that. It was just like a lower level room in the house.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
So. But she, the mystical objects were all over her house. So, you know, you don't. If you don't know where those objects have been, what they mean, etc, that can kind of invite some energy in that way as well. She, her mother committed in the house, there's trouble, so there's energy there as well. What room in the bathroom?
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
Yeah. And she, like, when she walked me and she's like, she did it right here, you know, and was just like.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah. And she likes this. She's just decided to stay in the same house.
Danny Santos
She doesn't live there anymore. I mean, I worked with her to, you know, to talk to her about it. For you, what else? There was so much. She had no friends, she had no family nearby. Her family was in India.
Harry Hamlin
What was her physical situation like? Was she overweight?
Danny Santos
I think she might have been a little overweight. She was a doctor and she was like being really, the way she described it, it sounds like she had a very abusive relationship with her patients.
Harry Hamlin
She's unmarried.
Danny Santos
She was unmarried. And in fact, she had a relationship that was incredibly traumatic, which I don't really think it's fair to share the details of. But that also seemed like it was a major source of trauma for her. And some of the things she revealed, I'm like, that, that's the dark, dark, you know, so what?
Harry Hamlin
So you worked with her in this exorcism, which sounds to me like it was more like spiritual therapy. Spiritual, yeah. Rather than.
Danny Santos
But I mean, I did standing there.
Harry Hamlin
With a cross going.
Danny Santos
I mean, that is part of the process. You know, you, you can. I. I do have the crucifix. I do do the healing. I get the holy water from the monastery of the Angels in Los Angeles.
Harry Hamlin
Did you have to steal it?
Danny Santos
No, no. You ask the. The ladies, and you can pay for it.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, really?
Danny Santos
You know, and you can even, like, submit something to get the ladies. So they're. They're cloistered nuns.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
And you can pay a certain amount of money, and they'll literally pray over this person's name for, like, whatever period of time you pay for. So I submitted her name. I purchased some holy water. Like, you got to outsource some of this stuff if you're going to do an exorcism.
Harry Hamlin
Now, did you keep. So do you have a little extra holy water at home just in case you.
Danny Santos
I used it all at that time, but I also can just create my own holy water. But for those spec. I like to outsource some of it.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
Because. Because to have, like, a nun praying for my safety, for this woman's redemption, like, I'll take it. Yeah. Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
How much does it cost?
Danny Santos
I think I paid, like, 87 bucks for them to pray for, like, a year over someone, you know.
Harry Hamlin
That's not bad, actually. Yeah.
Danny Santos
I've paid a few times for a couple personal things in the past.
Harry Hamlin
And then the holy water is, like, sold by the.
Danny Santos
I don't think the holy water is too expensive. The. The vial that I got was like. Like, maybe this big.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. It's about the size of a old Coke bottle. A small Coke bottle?
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Something like that. And it comes with just. It's got, like, a little crucifix. It's very cute.
Harry Hamlin
And. And. And then you use it to sprinkle or. How do you.
Danny Santos
What I did was I put it on a rag, and I blessed every single doorway in her home.
Harry Hamlin
When I like smudging, in a way.
Danny Santos
I mean, in a way. And I did smudge her home as well. I got palo Santo and sage, and then I also did Reiki healing. I did chanting from my training in my Ayahuasca shamanism. I. So the chanting is a language that's 5, 000 years old.
Harry Hamlin
It's not.
Danny Santos
No, no, no, no. This is Shapibo. So when I went to study with the Ayahuasca foundation, the Shipibo tribe is what the foundation runs through. So my mentor was named Don Enrique Lopez Fasanando, and he taught us this indigenous language. So I can sing the chants of their language.
Harry Hamlin
From where?
Danny Santos
From Peru.
Harry Hamlin
So it's Peruvian. Is ayahuasca Peruvian thing?
Danny Santos
I do believe it originated there. They. They taught us, like, the legends behind it and stuff in Ayahuasca there is when you.
Harry Hamlin
It's really kind of a DMT experience.
Danny Santos
Yes. And in fact, like, I was trying to get my ayahuasca church going here in the United States, and when I ordered the ayahuasca, like, it got confiscated because it's considered a Schedule 1 substance. So now I'm going to probably be trying to find a way. A friend of mine just purchased property in Costa Rica, so I think we're going to start getting an ayahuasca retreat center done on his property down there.
Harry Hamlin
Right?
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Where in Costa Rica do you know?
Danny Santos
I don't know exactly. He just bought the property like two days ago.
Harry Hamlin
Oh.
Danny Santos
So he and I are going to Rica.
Harry Hamlin
The OSA Peninsula I love particularly because it's way in the south by, down by Panama. There's no electricity there. I mean, it is like one of my favorite places ever in the world.
Danny Santos
Yeah. So we're probably going to need to find investors for like, it's just a big project that's going to be coming up, but.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, good for you. Okay, well, I'll be your first customer.
Danny Santos
Okay. All right.
Harry Hamlin
I want to go to down there to do ayahuasca with some shot.
Danny Santos
I'd be honored, Harry. Are you kidding? And your destiny's Pisces, right between my sun and moon sign. So I can bring the magic and the healing.
Harry Hamlin
I want it.
Danny Santos
Let's do it.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah. You know, I mean, I'm, I'm serious. I, I, you know, I, I remember very fondly my psychedelic experiences that I've done because I've, I've done also, you know, some of the other things that people have when I was a kid. Yeah. Mushrooms and stuff like that. And always very pleasant. I've never had a bad experience with any of those things. Yeah.
Danny Santos
You know, so mine was just with the lsd, but again, zero training in an environment that I didn't know someone was supposed to be trip sitting and they left. And I get it. Like the people that I was with, one of them was a recovering drug addict, had no therapy, no healing. So I truly believe. Yes.
Harry Hamlin
You don't want to be with an unresolved person.
Danny Santos
Yes. The demons that he had jumped into me. And when I say demon, I mean the energetic dysfunction that created, that was created within him due to his life experience that eventually became. I do think demons can kind of manifest large enough to take on their own ego, identity, that kind of stuff. And then they're teachers to us.
Harry Hamlin
Well, yeah, I would have to be taken down a Different rabbit hole to get that one. Because I do believe that fear is the basis for most of this behavior, demonic behavior.
Danny Santos
I agree.
Harry Hamlin
And I think the absence of love is really an overabundance of fear.
Danny Santos
Well, what I believe is that Earth School is just a school. And after we leave here, the individual ego does go on. We continue to live. You might not always go by the name Harry, but your soul and the basic prospects of who and what you are are going to continue on.
Harry Hamlin
I love that.
Danny Santos
That's what I believe.
Harry Hamlin
And that's where to have faith in something like that allows us to live our lives with the expectation of goodness as we go forward and not this expectation of this big, big black curtain coming down forever.
Danny Santos
Yeah, I'm not interested in the black curtain.
Harry Hamlin
A friend of mine just kind of blew my mind last week, and I think you might. You'll. You'll get this. He said, okay, so imagine this. And he's. He's an armchair astrophysicist. Amazing. And he says, imagine. So imagine infinity, okay. It's hard to imagine infinity, but imagine infinity. Imagine that the universe is infinite.
Danny Santos
Yes.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. And then think about that thing when somebody, once, you've probably heard this. Well, if you put a monkey in front of a typewriter for long enough.
Danny Santos
It'Ll type out Hamlet.
Harry Hamlin
It'll type out Hamlet. Right. Okay. And that's true, actually, because if you've got an infinite amount of time and you've got a typewriter and a thing sitting there, it will ultimately eventually type out in a hundred gabillion years, type out Hamlet. What happened?
Danny Santos
Well, and some monkey did type out Hamlet. I mean, William Shakespeare.
Harry Hamlin
That's true.
Danny Santos
Okay, There you go. You know, so the analogy is already true.
Harry Hamlin
And so imagine that we're here and. And we have. We're infinite. Right. Then the chances are, Danny, that you and I, at some point, maybe a quintillion years from now, if years are even a way to look, objectify time.
Danny Santos
Sure.
Harry Hamlin
You know, we'll be sitting here exactly.
Danny Santos
The exact same conversation, having the exact.
Harry Hamlin
Same life and, and in the exact same situation. And it's bound to happen if the universe is infinite. And it's bound to happen also that we've done this a quintillion years ago.
Danny Santos
Whoa. Well, because I am a Pisces sun, moon and Mercury, and that's your destiny sign. When I saw that, I was like, oh, we have a faded connection, you know?
Harry Hamlin
Oh, good.
Danny Santos
There's a reason that you and I are supposed to meet each other. So that's.
Harry Hamlin
That's how we are.
Danny Santos
Yeah. And here we are, you know, and we're hitting it off pretty well too.
Harry Hamlin
And we're gonna have to create something amazing out of this. You know, we'll create, we'll. We'll get creative.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah. I have no doubt that the universe is going to. With faith, it's going to unfold.
Harry Hamlin
Well, faith. I've been studying this idea of faith a lot for the last few months. I actually, I speak to a sort of spiritual healer person on a weekly basis. And what this idea of faith has been, you know, because my daughter is a big manifestor, she's my youngest daughter, has manifested the best career you can possibly have in the modeling world. And she did it deliberately using her powers of manifestation. And so she's teaching me all that. She's only 23, but she's teaching me at 73. She's teaching every day how to be a human.
Danny Santos
Wow.
Harry Hamlin
So. And I'm learning so much from her about it. And then this idea that faith and the idea that things are going to be fine and if you imagine that you have all the things you need to be as satisfied a human being as you would like, imagine that's already happened. You have faith that it's happened. It's going to happen. It does happen. It just happens.
Danny Santos
Getting fear out of the way, it.
Harry Hamlin
All comes down to that. It all comes down because if you take all the bullshit out of the world, you're left with one thing, and that's love. And it's there all the time.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Well, I gotta tell you, I am, as a Pisces, I am a dreamer.
Harry Hamlin
Good.
Danny Santos
I want to create this faith based organization that's spiritual, not religious, that helps integrate the 12 steps and 12 signs into the world and teaches people about astrology, ayahuasca, shamanism, and how to get the spirituality of life going.
Harry Hamlin
Exactly.
Danny Santos
I also sing and I play music and I'm, you know.
Harry Hamlin
So let's, let's talk about the 12 steps. So I've been in a 12 step program before and gone through it religiously.
Danny Santos
Amazing.
Harry Hamlin
And so these 12 steps related to the 12 steps that you might find in some of the other 12 step programs.
Danny Santos
So the, the, you mean the, my book?
Harry Hamlin
Your book? The 12 steps that you're talking. You know, I, I know the 12 steps of other organizations quite well.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
So is this, are these 12 steps in any way related to those 12 steps?
Danny Santos
So it's going to be the 12 steps, but like a universal 12 step. Okay, so like I said, taking the word alcoholism and switching it out for addiction and dysfunction. And then each sign of the zodiac with your destiny in Pisces, the step that you need the Most is the 12th step. So that's the one that you're a sacred. Like, you got to take that one in. So I believe that's the one where you bring other people to the program. Right?
Harry Hamlin
You. You spread the word.
Danny Santos
Yeah, you spread the word. So that's. That's what you're here to do, is spread the good word, my friend, whether it's 12 step or just the good word of love.
Harry Hamlin
Okay. Okay, well, so I'll do what I can.
Danny Santos
Yeah. So what I've done is I've written, like, my own commandments for each of the 12 signs.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
So.
Harry Hamlin
Interesting. Can I hear some?
Danny Santos
Sure. They're. They're three sentences each, so they're a little long. If you'd be. Okay, I can open my phone and read something.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah, I'd love to hear.
Danny Santos
All right. Because I'm writing. Like I said, I got my book, pretty proposal going, but it's basically just tenants to live by. And the number 12 is, like a very sacred number. And to have my own, like, 12, you know, commandments that I've written myself, it. It gives a framework for people to kind of build off of and look into. So let me just pull this up right here. All right, so number zero commandment is love is the greatest force in the universe.
Harry Hamlin
There you go.
Danny Santos
Universal.
Harry Hamlin
I'll buy that.
Danny Santos
And that can be applied to all of them. So that's why it's zero. So do you want me to just go through that?
Harry Hamlin
Yeah, I'd love to hear.
Danny Santos
All right, so Aries, you are divine, therefore you must always be yourself. Self actualization is being yourself to your full potential. Love means having the courage to authentically be yourself and advocate for yourself for the sake of yourself, others, and the world.
Harry Hamlin
And that's Aries.
Danny Santos
That's Aries. So if someone's north node is in Aries, their lesson is to be themselves, to become courageous. The master lesson of Aries is self actualization. The master teacher is shame. So that's what people are up against when they incarnate with a north node in Aries.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, but aren't we all. Don't we all have that to face in our lives?
Danny Santos
I mean, let's say someone's born in Aries. You know, if someone's born in Aries, they're gonna. They already know how to. They're like, got it. You know, like, let's read Scorpio, and you're gonna be like, yeah, I got that one.
Harry Hamlin
I'll see. Okay.
Danny Santos
So change is sacred, and the only constant in life, true transformation, comes from embracing life's changes. Rebirth comes from mastering them. Love means knowing how to embrace change, how to transform yourself, others, and the world, and to have proper judgment, to know when to let things end and when to bring them back to life.
Harry Hamlin
Well. Well, I have to say, Danny, that I have been, as I said, I was studying faith for the last. You know. Yeah, this is kind of what I've been studying is, is faith that things are going to work out. That having faith that whatever problems I perceive as problems are really solutions in the making, and those solutions are part of my creative experience. Having that faith has really kind of been my project for the last couple of years.
Danny Santos
There you go. Well, and if your destiny's Pisces, we'll read the Pisces one as well. Because this is like, this is the commandment that you're destiny, you're living by. All right, so Pisces, this is your. The stuff you're here to work on. Everything in life is divine and sacred. The meaning of life is to give life meaning. Love as much as you can and learn from your mistakes, the mistakes of others and the mistakes of the world. When you learn from your mistakes and correct them, you complete the cycle. When you do what you love with devotion, it is truly divine.
Harry Hamlin
I like. The meaning of life is to give life meaning. So Lex Friedman has this amazing podcast. He talks to everybody. He always ends his podcast with the same question, what is the meaning of life? He says this to everybody, every single person he's ever had on, and they're on the hook like, okay, what is it? And so that's kind of a big question to ask.
Danny Santos
Sure, sure.
Harry Hamlin
So we all come up. Well, I've come. What is. What is the answer to that? And you just said, the meaning of.
Danny Santos
Life is to give life.
Harry Hamlin
To give life meaning, which is a great answer to that question. It's also like, we are the universe because the universe evolved us. And why did it evolve us with eyes and ears and a tongue and a mouth and so that we can, like, taste cinnamon and look at a sunset and make love and have an orgasm and shit like that. I mean, how come? Well, the universe wanted to check itself out and find out what it's all about. And it only could do that if it had eyes and ears and a mouth and a tongue. So it evolved us. So here we are on this little planet that spins around this little sun in the middle of nowhere. And why are we here? We're here to create. We're here to do just what you're doing. So do it.
Danny Santos
I also think to explore, to learn, because the birth chart shows where your soul growth is. But it's to learn, to love, to give meaning. If somebody has too much Virgo in their birth chart, they're going to be caught up with just the day to day. They're going to miss the big picture or the meaning of life, the cosmic consciousness.
Harry Hamlin
Without cosmic consciousness, we are living day to day, from red light to green light, from the market to the kitchen, to the disposal, to the trash, to the bed, to the car.
Danny Santos
But if someone has too much Pisces, you're going to just be like a glass of water spilled on a table. You need a little order. So the way I view astrology is it's a giant game of rock, paper, scissors. No one sign trumps another. It's not like there is a checks and balances, because these archetypes do keep each other in line. But my destiny, Sagittarius, I need to take in that archetype. I need to learn from those people. So it's going to require that I go and ingest those things. But just because I need to take that in, there could be another Pisces out there that's actually trying to leave that archetype behind.
Harry Hamlin
And what would determine the difference between the two of you? Where the other planets are and how they're lining up.
Danny Santos
The north node itself moves, so it will transit the same sign about every 18 years. It'll get to the opposite sign nine years. In nine years. So it's a pretty slow moving thing compared to something like the sun, the moon, Mercury, some of our quicker planets. But the north node is going to show that destiny point. So it's responsible for creating eclipses. That's what the nodes are.
Harry Hamlin
What?
Danny Santos
Yeah, so it's the nodes of the moon. So when the sun and the moon come over the nodes, that's when we're going to see eclipses, which we have on September 7th of this year, there's going to be an eclipse, or I believe it's the 7th.
Harry Hamlin
Is it a full eclipse?
Danny Santos
There's going to be an eclipse between the zodiac signs Pisces and Virgo. And I believe it's going to be a full one. I'm going to have to brush a.
Harry Hamlin
Lot a lunar eclipse.
Danny Santos
So eclipses come in twos. So there's going to be a new moon eclipse and a full moon eclipse.
Harry Hamlin
I'm asking this for a very specific reason. Because in September, I always put a heavy backpack on and go high up into the high Sierras for four days alone as a kind of walkabout. You should plan your trip. I do it around the moon. Because you don't want to go on a full moon. Because if you go on. Obviously I want to go on a full moon. But if you go on a full moon, when you get high up into the mountains and the mountains are all around you. Yeah. The moon doesn't actually appear until around midnight because it takes that long for it to go from the horizon up into the top of the sky. So you're actually in the dark the whole time. You want to go in the mountains like four or five days before the full moon.
Danny Santos
Oh, my God.
Harry Hamlin
Because the moon will then rise quicker during the day and you will have moonlight sooner. So I always want to go four days before the full moon moon.
Danny Santos
Wow.
Harry Hamlin
So if the full moon is on the 7th and it's a total eclipse, then I gotta go on the third.
Danny Santos
Yeah. Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
Okay.
Danny Santos
I'm gonna look up the exact details for you, Harry, because I don't want to give you any misinformation.
Harry Hamlin
Well, I can figure it out. Okay. That's pretty easy. I can figure out when the full moon is going to be. But anyway.
Danny Santos
But there's an eclipse during that time and it's going between Virgo and Pisces.
Harry Hamlin
Well, that could be very cool to be up in the high Sierras watching an eclipse.
Danny Santos
But this eclipse is on your destiny point points in your birth chart. This is one of the most important eclipses of your life.
Harry Hamlin
Oh, no. It's like I could be up there and be killed by a bear. Right.
Danny Santos
Let's not manifest that. This is more like you're opening up a chapter of the Pisces. Things of love, transcendence, universality, like spirituality, doing what you love. Putting more of that out, like. Like this is activating a major section of your life. Yes.
Harry Hamlin
So September, like around. Around the first, last week of September.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah. September, October. There's two eclipses.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, I have one question for you, please. Have you ever come across a chart where you're going, oh, my God. Oh, no. That person is really screwed? I mean, does that exist?
Danny Santos
A bad chart, Long answer. There's no such thing as a bad chart, okay? All charts offer the opportunity for experience, for learning. I do believe the chart is either elected by the individual, so they choose before they incarnate to go through a series of difficult lessons or it's elected by karma and that karma is going to be assigned to them because of, you know, you hear this thing of like, oh, I must have not been very good in my past life, or, you know, I do think that's possible as well. So I think those are the two ways that a difficult chart can come about by an individual. And when you ask me this question, my brain goes to like six or seven years ago when I read this chart for this girl who the second I looked at it, I was like, whoa.
Harry Hamlin
Really?
Danny Santos
It was a whirlwind of a chart. It had really strong context to the planet Uranus that were. And that's the planet of revolution, chaos, innovation, forward thinking, futurism, but also like destruction and transformation in a, in a not so savory way.
Harry Hamlin
Oh.
Danny Santos
And it was aspecting so much in her chart. And she had been divorced three times. She had children from multiple different fathers. She was struggling with poverty. She was having a hard time holding onto friendships.
Harry Hamlin
Yeah, it sounds to me like she needed help.
Danny Santos
Yeah, her chart reflected her life. And so you ask me that question and I'm like, well, she had it. That's probably one of the most challenging charts I've ever seen.
Harry Hamlin
Now what happens when somebody has a chart like that? There must be some remedial availability in there somewhere.
Danny Santos
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, in my book I talk about this, so I created an acronym called East. So first you must explore your astrological birth chart because you got to know what's going on. Why is my life the way that it is? Then you're going to analyze it and you're going to look at, okay, how is the chart actually reflecting my life experience and what do I want to keep and what do I want to let go of? Then you're going to synthesize it and you're going to say, all right, it's time to start integrating the things I want and also integrating the things I don't want you to pay a lot.
Harry Hamlin
Of attention to do that.
Danny Santos
Yes, well, that's what my program and my healing work is all about. And then the last part is to transcend it to say, I actually don't want these negative qualities anymore. And I'm just going to take the good. Because the more difficult the birth chart, the stronger the gift, the more challenging the astrological aspect. You're like being given a more powerful. If you can learn to master that mechanical bowl of a chart and like stay on the ride and like do everything right, then you're being given a more powerful gift.
Harry Hamlin
But somebody's got to lead you through this, right?
Danny Santos
Yeah. Well, that's you. That's what I'm here for.
Harry Hamlin
That's what you're for. Okay.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
So you're, you're the guy who's going to help take people with difficult situations in their lives.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And take them through that, using astrology as your guide rather than a common 12 step program or the Bible or some other device that people use to kind of lean on for health and for. For healing and.
Danny Santos
Yes.
Harry Hamlin
Okay, great. Well, that's an amazing thing. So are you going to open a center and do this?
Danny Santos
That's the goal. I mean, I'm just, you know, one person who's living a pretty modest life right now. And I live month to month as a professional healer, so that's. But I'm doing my best to, to just be. We talked about the anima mundi. I believe I'm being employed by Spirit to do this work out in the world. And if it's meant to, for those.
Harry Hamlin
Who don't speak Latin, Anima mundi is the world.
Danny Santos
It's the animated world. And it's the concept that we are all a single note in the cosmic orchestra of life. So it's the idea that, like, I'm just a humble healer doing my business out in the world, and I've had it where I thought maybe I should just give up on this and become a chiropractor or become a psychologist or a therapist, and much more important to.
Harry Hamlin
Be doing what you're doing. There's a lot of chiropractors out there, a lot of therapists out there, but there are very few shamanic, astrological healers out there who are working from this perspective. So I say keep doing what you're doing, build up that business and create a healing mode for people to come to. Why not?
Danny Santos
Yeah. Well. And the work that I do, it's truly a blend of all of my training. So we've got ayahuasca, shamanism, astrology. I'm a trained reiki master. I'm a trained breathwork instructor. I'm a trained evidential psychic medium. And I put all of these things together and I have my own unique blend that I call the medicine of the cosmos.
Harry Hamlin
So the medicine of the. I wish you all the best and continue with what you're doing because we need you out there as another way to look at the world, another perspective, another way to heal, because it's all about healing.
Danny Santos
Yeah.
Harry Hamlin
And so I thank you so much for coming today. Oh, my God. To me about all of this. And if I had more time, I'd want to know about the Reiki stuff. I mean, I'd want to know more about the shamanism stuff. Unfortunately, we're kind of out of time today. But you're going to come back because we're going to go through all that stuff because absolutely fascinated by it. And thank you, everybody for checking in today with with Danny Santos on let's not talk about the Husband.
Danny Santos
May I do a shameless plug?
Harry Hamlin
Sure.
Danny Santos

Podcast Summary: "Decoding Harry's Astrological Birth Chart with Danny Santos"
Episode Details:
In this episode of "Let's Not Talk About The Husband," hosts Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin engage in a deep dive into astrology with guest Danny Santos, a seasoned astrologer and spiritual healer. The conversation primarily focuses on decoding Harry's astrological birth chart and exploring how astrology intersects with personal growth and healing.
Harry begins by expressing his initial skepticism toward astrology, sharing his extensive spiritual journey that began in high school with Christianity, evolved through a mystical experience, and led him to explore "A Course in Miracles."
Danny Santos recounts how he was introduced to astrology at the age of 11, thanks to his father's generosity of providing an unused desktop computer. This early access to the internet sparked his lifelong passion for astrology.
Harry reveals that he has his sun, moon, and Mercury all in Scorpio, a rare astrological placement that signifies a deep and authentic personality. Danny elaborates on this, explaining that such a configuration makes an individual more authentic and congruent in their external and internal selves.
The discussion shifts to Scorpio's role as a sign of transformation and rebirth. Danny explains that Scorpios are often tasked with "cleaning up" ancestral traumas and facilitating profound personal changes.
Harry shares a personal anecdote about surviving a near-fatal car accident at 19, tying it back to Scorpio's association with rebirth and resilience.
Danny introduces his innovative approach, "12 Steps, 12 Signs," which integrates traditional 12-step recovery programs with astrological insights. Each step aligns with a zodiac sign, offering a unique framework for personal development.
Harry is intrigued by how astrology can be woven into recovery and personal growth, highlighting his own experiences with trauma and spiritual awakening.
A significant portion of the conversation delves into the impact of upcoming astrological eclipses on Harry's destiny, emphasizing the North and South Nodes in his birth chart.
Harry connects these celestial events to his personal life, mentioning a planned solitary backpacking trip in the High Sierras timed around a total lunar eclipse.
Danny shares his experiences with spiritual healing, including exorcism work. He describes a case involving a woman with severe traumatic experiences and how he utilized a blend of astrological insights, Reiki, and traditional spiritual practices to aid her.
Harry reflects on his own encounters with psychedelics and spiritual practices, underscoring the importance of a supportive environment during such experiences.
The conversation touches upon Danny's ambition to establish an ayahuascatory retreat center in Costa Rica, aiming to provide structured and safe environments for spiritual and astrological healing.
Harry expresses his support and interest in participating, indicating a strong collaborative energy between him and Danny.
Towards the end of the episode, Harry and Danny explore deeper philosophical themes, discussing the primacy of love over fear and the idea that love is the fundamental force in the universe.
Harry Hamlin [43:31]: "There is only love. I don't think there's anything else."
Danny Santos [43:21]: "Love is the greatest force in the universe."
They further elaborate on how overcoming fear and embracing love can lead to profound personal transformation and societal healing.

Danny Santos [68:05]: "I want to create this faith-based organization... teach people about astrology, ayahuasca, shamanism, and how to get the spirituality of life going."
They also discuss potential future collaborations and the expansion of Danny's healing practices.
Harry Hamlin [00:01]: "We've been together for over 30 years and we've been working in this industry a lot longer. Well, you know, we have some crazy stories to tell."
Danny Santos [02:24]: "I started learning about astrology that way and it just happened."
Harry Hamlin [09:31]: "I had the most extraordinary sensation of peace and calmness."
Danny Santos [16:00]: "I'm looking to create a more neutral version of the 12 steps."
