A
How often do you get a text from UPS that asks for your credit card?
B
Dude, that was a new one.
C
Honestly, when that cop was like, you want to make good content? Let's run the drug dog around your car.
A
Obviously I didn't want to see anyone get hurt.
C
I'm not so sure I'm convinced of that statement.
B
Evan Gavin landed some punches on Jake that were very hard. Dude, you are really a good guy.
D
It feels like summer around here, dude. Everybody's back. We got Rich hanging out. We got Glenn up here for the weekend. Like in the winter.
B
Nobody wants to come.
D
Nobody. Anybody that has to come comes and goes as fast as they can. There's no, like, hanging around. I just. Because I bring up the C word around you.
A
We said it like three times.
E
Oh, my gosh. It is funny, right? When you said it feels like summer around here. I rode my motorcycle here today and it was freezing.
B
It was freezing.
E
I checked the temp. I'm like 41.
B
Honestly, respect to you for riding your bike. I've been wanting to take the R6 out, but I just know it's going to be cold and you have proper gear. I don't have any. I'm. I'm a squid rider. Like, I bought a helmet and that's it.
E
Yeah. No out of. I wore long johns, four layers. A vest.
C
Yeah.
E
Winter gloves still cold.
B
See, to me, riding the motorcycle isn't worth that.
C
So I just.
B
I'm like, oh, wait another week or two.
E
70 is the threshold.
B
Yeah.
C
You've already rode that motorcycle more than I thought you would, Mike.
F
Yeah.
B
I'm proud of you.
E
That's good.
D
Do you like riding it? Like to Fargo and back. It's like a 50 minute drive.
E
Honestly, this sounds bad, but I literally. Today it was freezing. I was driving it, riding it, and I was like, this sucks. This sucks.
B
So you did think about that. Dude, you should have your gold wing, cuz that actually has some coverage.
E
Yeah. Yeah.
B
It's crazy how much of a difference there is between a bike like what you have or even my R6. Just have a windshield. Yeah. Actual cruiser. Because you have so much more coverage. You're getting blown around way less. You probably have cruise control. Like, you're kind of chilling. It's like a couch. Yeah.
C
Either way, though, I feel like it's got to be like really nice weather to be at all enjoyable.
E
You know how sick it is. Like having a convertible. Like Ken's looking at the continental. Like, dropping your top is awesome, but in Minnesota, it's another again, the 70 kind of threshold is the rule.
B
Yeah.
D
I used to be the biggest convertible guy. I was like, die hard convertible. And now I. I'm not.
B
Yeah.
E
Like I never take utilize it like 20 days out of the summer.
D
Yeah. And like the picturesque. Convertible evening. Okay. It's 75 degrees. You and your lady are headed to the restaurant, cruising by the lake. It's dead calm and it's a nice night. Right. Well, I give you like four problems. One, it's never not windy. Two, your girlfriend's mad because she just did her hair, so her hair's flying everywhere so she wants to top up. And then three, it's always cold here.
C
And they look so insanely stupid with the top up.
D
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
Convertibles do look most of the time very ugly.
D
Which I used to like, be like. Well, that's because they're a convertible. You're supposed to have the top down, but like whenever you have to put it up, it just looks so exactly.
E
Like if you're gonna live in Arizona, get a convertible.
C
Absolutely. But Ken sitting back there, like, so I shouldn't have bought that Lincoln Continental.
D
No.
C
As we just told him, like, it's so sick. With the convertible.
B
Ken's biggest problem is not going to be that it's a convertible. It's going to be that it's an old vehicle. It's older than one year old. He doesn't even know what it's like to drive a older vehicle.
F
Now, now I've got.
C
I don't understand that. What do you mean older than one year old? Oh, he has a brand new vehicle.
B
All like, if door handle squeaks when he opens you, there's something wrong with it. Better trade it in Lemon.
F
Like, well, it shows up tomorrow, so.
B
Okay, good.
D
Okay. I do want to like asterisk that is, I think driving an old classic car. Convertible. Like, you're not going to drive that. I presume to like, you know, you got to go pick up orders in frickin Fargo, you know, like, it's your weekend cruiser.
F
No, this is like, oh, it's 80 degrees and sunny. Let's take the Continental. I think it's driving around.
D
I'm so excited.
B
It's gonna be awesome. I mean, there's a lot of new vehicles being bought around here. Mike, you've bought three. Three this week.
E
Pretty aggressive.
B
Three freaking videos. Mike. Dude, you are an absolute maniac. And I'm even concerned for your financial well being at this point.
E
Yep. My truck just got delivered today, which I bought the truck in January. It's Been a little bit of a journey. It started off as a different color. It sent it to Crandall's, got it wrapped, put some new headlights in. It sent it to full send diesel, got some bling parts on it, weight reduction, and nightmare to try to get it to shipped here. Like, no one comes to this area. So we got that. And just so happened to also have the delivery of the Viper. I love that everyone on the podcast was like, oh, he was actually serious.
B
As if you were joking.
E
Yeah. And then I bought Sydney, my fiance, a Bronco for her birthday yesterday.
D
God dang, dude, Mike.
C
So that's how he does it, bro.
E
We got to run. That video I just show right now just the video of me surprising her.
B
I didn't even know you were doing.
C
It until I didn't know you were.
B
Doing that either or sent us the picture of it.
E
Well, it. It happened fast. Like, basically, I'm selling my Bronco Raptor to Randy Ryan and Sydney's dad, and. And then he's had this other Bronco, and he's like, should we make a deal? And I was like, sure, man.
C
You guys just pass Broncos around? Literally. It's like the third Bronco transaction you guys have had.
D
Yeah, actually is.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Literally.
B
Yeah.
C
It's kind of crazy.
D
I don't like that you're enabling my father to keep trading cars.
E
I know.
D
It's probably good. It's good. You guys both give each other a deal. Hopefully you're both happy.
B
So did she want a Bronco before this, or.
E
I guess she mentioned, like, oh, I love the Bronco, and she drives a Wrangler now, so it's, like, pretty similar, obviously. And she's like, oh, that'd be so sweet to have that Bronco. My dad never drives it. Really?
C
And so that's cool.
D
Damn, that is cool.
E
And Randy put like, what are they? The fuel Rebels? The classic rebels in silver on a silver Bronco and. Actually looks pretty sick.
D
It does look sharp.
E
All right, you ready for your birthday present?
B
I'm ready. Where are you going?
E
I told her it was in the garage, so.
B
It's in the garage. You're lying.
E
No.
C
You're lying.
E
No. You're joking. I'm not joking. You're. Huh?
B
You're.
E
I'm not joking.
C
I mean, can you imagine somebody buying a car like, that's sick. And a bow on it.
B
Damn.
D
Oh, the bow.
E
The bow was the best part.
C
Stoked, too. Dude.
B
Bro, that is so nice of you.
C
That's so nice, dude.
B
You are really a Good guy.
C
I was a nice guy. Mike, we gotta. Seriously.
D
Dang, dude, I've got my sister a ton of birthday gifts. She's never acted like this.
E
I'm gonna rip it today. I'm so excited, too. I got a whole bunch of videos.
D
Dude, that's so cute.
E
She's like, I'm so excited. I feel like I'm gonna. My pants.
C
That's pretty exciting.
B
Not in the new car, baby. Not in the new car.
D
Oh, that's freaking awesome. She texted me this morning, or I texted her. I was like, how do you like your new Bronco? And she's like, I love it. She was so happy.
C
She was, like, real.
D
Yeah, she. That. She said, I look at Micah this morning. I go, are you sure?
C
Yeah.
E
She's like, is this real? Like, am I taking this to work today? We got insurance on it. She's good to go. Yeah, I just like, boom. I just said. I was like, don't plan on me topping this birthday present now.
B
That was really nice of you.
E
Oh, yeah. I'm stoked. And the truck's here today, so are.
D
You gonna, like, commandeer her Jeep now?
E
Yeah. Which was really funny.
D
So do you have another car?
E
No. Oh, commandeer as in commandeered and then sell it.
D
Okay.
C
Oh, no. You know Mike's plan.
B
I'm just gonna go put it in the barn for a little while.
E
I literally, like, build it as, like, make it into my rock crawler.
C
I think you should.
E
But Evan made a good point. He's like. So I'm assuming you're assuming that you're going to take the Jeep back and, like, sell it to, like, free up some cash. And I was like, yeah, that is exactly my plan. And you're like, well, I'm just putting it out there that, you know, she could say no to that. That's her car. And I'm like, you're right. You know, like, holy good. Obviously she didn't.
D
And then I'd go, okay, this bronco's mine again.
E
Which would be really awkward.
F
Just take that Jeep. Put a lift on it. 40s, good to go.
C
It would be sick.
D
You could tow it with your truck and then tow that.
E
I've already publicly called rock crawling lame, so.
C
Well, yeah, I think every. I think people that even rock crawl think that it's lame.
E
That's funny.
D
At what point does rock crawling Become cool?
A
27 beers.
D
Okay.
A
Yes.
D
Totally valid, for sure.
C
I think, like, the feat of rock crawling is, like, cool, like, getting a vehicle up. Something that is, like, damn near Impossible. But it's just like the speed of it. And maybe. I don't know.
B
The thing is, is most of the people that are rock crawling aren't actually going up something that's like, actually hard to get up. They're just literally rolling over some, like, inclines and some declines. You know, like the stuff that we were watching at Moab. Besides for maybe Hell's Gate, it's kind of all just like you just drive the frickin thing, you know?
E
I guess it's like anything. Like dirt biking is fun when you're doing it, even if you're not hitting big jumps. Snowmobiling fun when you're doing it, even if you're not going up the biggest chute. But unless you're hitting the biggest jumps or going up the chute, no one really cares to watch.
D
That's probably true.
E
Like, everyone wants to watch Hell's Gate because you either do or you don't make it up. But all the other ones, like, you just do a trail. Nobody needs to see that.
D
I was going to say. Yeah, I think it gets cool when you, like, cross in the King of Hammers type stuff. You know, like when you have a guy outside telling you which way to go, and then you. You don't miss it, and then your car falls and then you slide down a rock face. Then it's cool. Like when there's actual risk involved instead of like maybe digging up the bumper on your rental Jeep.
B
Yeah.
C
There really is just so many things that just feel cooler than they look.
D
It's kind of like leaving a car show. Like when you leave a car show and you rip out of there or.
C
Pulling in or like even just driving a cool car. Dalton was like, you know, some people just like. I swear they just try and avoid like, looking at your car. And I was like, no, dude, a lot of people just don't give a fuck about cars or trucks or whatever. Like, I'd say a majority of them driving his vehicles.
B
Why is nobody looking at me? Dude, that person just drove past without taking a picture of it. He's looking at them like, hey, I'm over here.
C
Speeds up.
B
It's like, I got wheels on this. Yeah.
C
It's like Ken trying to track down a cop to get pulled over.
D
Oh my God. So funny.
A
That was so hilarious, dude.
E
And I'm glad that you kind of left more of that in to show that it was. It's as hard as it is. That's the one I was most worried about for you guys, like getting Gas was tough too, but getting pulled over looked not fun.
F
How many, how many times did you get pulled over on that trip, cj? Like, it was like four or five.
B
Two.
E
We were.
C
He was drinking the whole time, dude.
B
I mean, I get pulled over just driving around here, even if I'm going the speed limit, like just minding my own business. And Ken's over here, literally speeding around, zooming past cops, swerving with no license plate and. And a hood stack just blow. Like no broken windows. Nobody wanted to pull them over. It's. It is crazy.
D
Maybe they didn't want to mess with them. They were just like, I'm trying to come home to my wife tonight. I don't want to mess with this guy.
C
I did see a comment that said that. They said a lot of times if a cop thinks that you're trying to get pulled over, they don't want to pull you over because that's the maniac that'll shoot you.
D
That's also true. Yeah, that's crazy. Ken's a maniac. But not one that'll shoot you.
C
Right? Who in their right mind wants to get pulled over in a cop's position who's already probably sketched out, walking up to a weird ass car like that.
D
You got Gavin in the back tweaking.
C
Oh, dude, 100%. When that cop was like, you want to make good content? Let's run the drug dog around your car. It wasn't for the content. He thought we were high, bro. Who else is doing what we were doing and saying what we were saying that isn't high on meth.
D
I was thinking, he said that.
C
He said that, bro. He literally, after he did it, he goes, you know, I just had to check to be sure. I've never had somebody actually want to get pulled over before.
D
He was a cool cop, which I think was really good. Cuz you could have maybe gotten like a psycho guy. That's like, that's obstruction of justice.
C
Yeah.
D
You know, like, I don't know, Ken could be in the clink in Utah right now.
B
And it.
C
Either way, it would have worked out for me and Gavin.
F
It would have been great content.
D
The good news about more Utah jail is they only soak there.
C
Oh, that's.
E
It was so fun on both part one and part two, seeing what we didn't know until watching the video or, you know, in your case, editing it. But like, you know, just the classic, like I. We genuinely thought that the Crown Vic broke down in part one, and that whole time everyone's asking you about it and it was fake. And dude, it was just so funny. Like seeing you epoxy the doors and then seeing the epoxy doors get messed up by another prank.
A
Terrible job on the epoxy.
B
How could I have done a better job?
A
Maybe buy something that dried quicker.
E
Yeah, not that.
F
Gavin did say you should have bought a different style of glue or whatever.
D
Dude, honestly, that lady at Ace Hardware was about to super glue our mouths shut. She. She hated us so much. We're just trying to get out of there. Nothing. She was just cranky.
B
She's just pissed.
D
She's just pissed off.
C
Honestly, Weld, you could have JB welded.
A
Door shut in like an hour and they wouldn't have opened.
C
But thankfully for us.
A
You're an idiot.
D
Well, no, it's me. It was me. I won't let C.J. take the blame.
F
It probably was me too when we walked in the garage legitimately two hours later and just opened up these doors and it was still wet.
D
Look at all that accountability being taken here.
C
It actually, it probably would have worked.
A
But yeah, it was probably.
C
Dude, bro. When we came out there at 5am and the doors were hard to open. But Gavin, dude, he's a bull in a china shop.
D
I love that boy.
C
And he is so fucking just unaware of his surroundings where he was just like slamming the door. It's. Keep in mind it's 5am and we're trying to sneak around and put Cheetos in your van. Opening the bag as loud as possible.
D
Just laughing.
C
Yeah, laughing. And I, I actually got mad at him because I was like, bro, gonna ruin it. Shut up. And he's like, my bad, my bad, my bad. And then he like slams another door and I like, look at him, he's. Oh, I forgot, I forgot. See, I thought we were cook for sure, dude, for how loud he was being.
D
But I heard doors slamming. Cuz I was right above the garage. I heard door slamming and I went, well, they're not messing with my car. And then I was kind of waiting to hear you guys go outside. Fell back asleep. I was like waiting to interrupt you guys doing on our car. You know, I didn't care. I wanted you to sabotage team. Cheet.
E
Was like, damn, the Cheetos were a cherry.
C
Dude, the Cheetos are so good, Evan.
E
And were so mad.
C
So mad.
E
And I mean I was upset.
C
Gross.
A
We had like stuff in the van and it was so greasy. I didn't realize how greasy Cheetos are.
C
You're putting those in your body.
A
Oil slick.
F
It was so funny listening to you guys or watching you guys like polish the dashboard. You know, you're, you're constantly wiping stuff down in there and then just dumping those Cheetos in was like the funniest thing. Doing it.
C
Yeah.
E
What an insane amount of Cheetos.
C
Yeah. Like a lot of literally bought all.
E
The Cheetos at Walmart and we would.
C
Have bought more if they had more.
E
Go to Walmart and look at all of the different types of Cheetos they have and just imagine buying all of them.
D
How many carts was it?
B
Two.
C
Two cards.
D
Oh my God.
B
600 worth.
C
Yeah, about every single Cheeto that they had.
A
Off brand though.
F
Lady was like looking in the back if they had more. But they did.
E
I saw you got cop some dill pickle Cheetos and I really wanted to try those.
C
Did you guys eat any of them?
E
I ate a few.
A
I did not eat a single one.
B
You were just eating some that were there?
E
Yeah, I literally just.
C
Yeah.
E
As we were driving I'm like, well I grabbed off of that.
C
It was like a really weird interaction, like the whole thing. It was like we, we go in there and we filled two carts full of Cheetos, right? And like every single Cheeto bag that they had in the store and we're like going to checkout and this lady came up that I don't know who she was, but somebody in charge supposedly. And she was like, I just want you guys to know that you do not have permission to film our customers. And I was like, we're not filming anyone. We're buying these two bags or two carts full of Cheetos. Like total attitude for somebody, like buying a lot of stuff from them, right.
D
And I was like, okay, I'm a valued Walmart customer.
B
Yeah, right.
C
And then we go through the checkout line and the kid checking us out was probably 20 years old. Didn't ask us a single thing of what we were. Shut up. It was the weirdest thing. Nothing. He didn't, was, didn't even say no. Didn't say anything. Like just like checked it out and I was just laughing like, just waiting for him to say something like what are you guys doing with all these Cheetos? Nothing. And then we're want to know and then we're walking out because we had to go and get our tire and like the backside of the store. And then when we're walking out, dude, at this point I think like the two like higher up managers came out and they were like, do you guys need a Hand with anything. Like, can we help you load up? And I was like, now, this is the treatment I thought we would get buying this mini Cheetos. And they were like, we're joking.
B
Like, yeah, we.
C
We bought you guys out. We were wondering if you had any more. And they were like, let me check. And they're checking their inventory.
B
Yeah.
C
And then they were like, you guys bought us out. That's all we had. But you're getting to make us look really good to the Cheeto reps. Like.
A
Oh, they're gonna start stalk, like, way more Cheetos again.
C
I know. I. I jokingly said that too. And they were like, huh? And it was great. It was a great interact action. And I was like, you know what? This is how it should feel when you're buying 650 bucks worth of Cheetos.
A
It had to be at least 100 of hot dogs.
E
Well, that was the shame. I. I gotta say it. I know I shouldn't, but you bought, like, 350 hot dogs and only put 50 in because you felt bad. Well, yeah. What was the reasoning behind that?
C
Because I knew the hot dogs were gonna, like, stink, really stink, and, like, be. Make a mess out of it because of the juice. You were concerned about a mess?
B
That makes no sense. This is delusional.
F
As we were putting them in there, it made it stink so much worse than just the exclusive.
C
And I. I was honestly. I know they're gonna be livid, and. And just more hot dogs would make it even worse. So I just tried to spare you guys. In hindsight, I would have just done all of them.
B
Right.
F
You said we should be good, and then I think I dumped one more in there.
E
Yeah.
C
And you literally couldn't help himself.
D
Oh, no.
F
One more pack.
E
Yeah. And then you can tell by the end of that video, we were just.
B
Yeah, because we didn't film it.
C
Dalton was told to not film it by Evan. Didn't give us the satisfaction.
B
Craziest thing ever. We're out here filming this thing, and you guys didn't film it.
E
And when we filmed it, just really bad.
B
10 seconds.
C
I mean, luckily, Mike was there to pick up the slack of it. If Mike wasn't there, you guys wouldn't have filmed a single thing until you came in and destroyed our car. That's not true. But, I mean, that is how it would have been. I saw Mike turn on the camera. I saw Mike tell you when to start filming, but I was pretty proud of that one. Honestly, I thought that was pretty good execution on our Part it's really hard to like sneak around with with 150 bags of Cheetos, right? And I was thinking we hit them pretty well.
E
Like when CJ epoxy the doors and it said 2am not sure what time it actually was. Probably around that like we stay up super late too.
B
I was sitting with you guys. Then I left and went.
E
And CJ stayed up late with us and I was like, damn. Like C.J. never stays up this late. Little did I know.
A
I was so mad that I toasted our fire extinguisher here. Like we had it the whole trip and figured we'd do something good with it. And I gave it one like two second squirt thinking that it would still work later. But that just like that was it. It ruined it, bro.
B
We saw you guys coming up and we're expecting something funny. And then you guys just basically buzzed by and I, and I'm just like, dude, they're actually fucking mad. Look at Evan's face, look at how mad he was.
C
I knew that they were going to be super mad. So like we're watching Mike's location because.
A
We dipped out early and you guys turned your location off and so we were checking.
C
We knew that you guys were coming up on us, right? And we, we knew that you had some, some planned. Cuz we were just like exposed. We didn't even have a back window. Like our car is barely running the way it is. And so we're coming down the road, we're watching your location and we both go through a tunnel at the same time and you're like coming up on us like 20 seconds behind us and I dip off and I take like an exit. You guys drive by and I pulled back on and I was just falling behind you guys because I knew and I was watching the GoPro footage back of you guys like, all right, check his location. Where is that fucker? And I knew you guys were hunting us down. We were, dude, we were laughing, we.
A
Were like, we bought eggs, we had the fire extinguisher and we bought. Yeah, we had the slingshot and we thought about trying to get a squirt gun like a Super Soaker and filling that with like cannoli oil or something because that would be a pain in the butt. And we had to settle for good old fashioned motor oil.
C
Would have been.
A
Either way, we just never ran into you until we got to Gavin's, which was very unfortunate.
C
Yeah, they were starting hoping to catch you in the wild design.
F
It's almost like we were Watching your location as you were watching ours.
A
We knew you were, but we thought maybe that you guys would want to pull up, so we didn't turn our location up, even though everybody else did. We thought that maybe you would end up coming to us.
B
Yeah.
E
So fun.
C
Either way. It was, in my opinion, like, one of the most, like, eventful videos ever. Like, there's, like, so many different layers to it, and it was just so entertaining. So if you haven't, go and check it out. Cheap car challenge, part two. Part two, I think, is way better than part one before. It was good, too.
E
They're both good. Grab your popcorn.
F
Part two is way more fun. I think messing with everyone got about.
E
Two and a half hours of just pure entertainment.
C
We'll have to do it again sometime.
D
I think the people should vote on where next. I think Europe on motorcycles or Europe on cars. I just don't want to blow our.
E
Load and go to Europe next.
D
We can go to India. We can go to China. We can go to freaking Mars. Like Katy Perry.
E
Yeah.
D
You know, we can do anything.
E
I mean, it's just. I don't know, like, going to Europe is, like. It's just way crazier, way more expensive, way more time, way harder to communicate.
B
Miami, Minnesota.
C
That could be sick.
E
That would be awesome. Brick at Key West.
B
Yeah, you start in Key west, we could get other.
E
Most to northernmost.
C
Oh, that'd be good.
B
I was.
C
I was talking to Cletus. So Cletus has done cheap car challenges, too. And, like, there are so many comments saying that we had just, like, ripped them off in that. But, like, we're boys. And he was like, yo, you guys got to do this, which we've wanted to do it for a long time. And I was like, like, what do you think of that? And so, like, after we dropped the video and there's a bunch of comments on it, you know, I called him and be like, dude, it's. It's doing really well. But, like, so many people just think we just ripped you off. And he's like, bro, you're not taking away from me at all. Like, it just adds to everything and, like, a very, like, abundance mentality, which he always. I've always said that. He always has, but he was like, I think we got to do one together, and that'll, like, really shut people up. So he was like, I. I think, like, at some point, we just do one, like, two teams, and we. We go somewhere.
E
Our team is just massive. I mean, he's got boys, too.
B
I was also Going to say, I'm not taking away from Cletus, but Top Gear did it before. Yeah, like, he.
D
And I'm sure someone did it before Top Gear.
C
Yeah. So, like.
B
And if you're going to say that we're copying someone, Top Gear attacking, frankly, is who we.
C
And, like, he would never even say that because he would give the flowers somebody else like that too. Like, it's hard to be original on YouTube these days, but what we bring to the table is just a different dynamic. It's just a different group. It's different ideas of what we're doing. And I was like that. That would be pretty fun to do that. Like two YouTube channels.
D
Oh, my gosh, dude. Especially with them.
C
Yeah.
D
Our teams would be cooked if we had a breakdown.
E
Yeah, true. They would be dialed and we would be not dialed.
C
Yeah, we'd have even the playing fields a little bit.
D
I was watching YouTube and I found this YouTuber. His name is Michael Reeves, and he's actually hilarious. He drops a video like once a year. But he built a bot that lowballs people on Facebook Marketplace. All he has to do is find a listing, and he just has like a chrome extension that he just. It says like, lowball or something like that. And it just does all the things. He's like a coder and it does all the things and then just sends them a message that like, AI writes genius.
B
Yeah. So what do you mean by that?
E
Does it continue the conversation after the first lowball?
D
I'm not sure. I. He didn't have that in there, but yeah.
B
So he hits a button and they lowball.
D
So he hits one button and then he generated a bunch of code basically to take the listing, the information from it, puts it in a chat. GPT creates a response with an attitude. And he had like 10 different characters that, like, you know, some were condescending, some were aggressive, some were whatever. And then they would send it to. To the person without having him to like, copy and paste anything. It was just one click and then it would send it to the person. That person would respond. And then I think the idea was that if he. If lowballing people actually saved money. If. If a bot could lowball somebody and, and do it better than a person.
B
I'll tell you how it could save money. Make it so that way there's like 10 different bots that lowball them at. Over the course of. Of a period. So then he's like, this is ridiculous. Like, maybe I'm high on my price. And then you come in with A. A slightly below reasonable offer. And then he's like, well, this is way better than everything else I've been getting. I'm going to take up on this because I don't know if anyone else is going to want it.
D
There you go. And then I think your product isn't worth it.
B
Exactly. Then you save the money.
C
It's a good point.
E
You're on to something there. I feel like people are going to do that.
A
So, cj, you said that you were concerned about Mike's finances, right? Yeah, I am concerned about your finances.
B
How so?
A
You getting scammed yesterday.
B
Oh, yeah. Technically, you should be concerned about the company's finances because it was a company.
A
You're in control of the company's finances.
B
Yeah. So we all are in trouble.
C
This is concerning.
B
No, it wasn't. It really wasn't that big of a deal.
A
No, it kind of is.
B
You think it's a bigger deal than it is?
A
Dude, everybody gets those text, like, on a daily.
C
And you fell for it.
B
Yeah, but I also get texts on a daily of, like, shipments and calls. So I'm just like, how often do.
A
You get a text from UPS that asks for your credit card?
B
Dude, that was a new one.
F
Honestly, did you ever pay the. The Road Tool text message?
B
No.
F
Oh, okay, good.
B
I thought that one was bogus because I was like, I thought I paid for this already, so I wasn't going to pay it again. But no. So what happened was I was eating.
C
And, you know, we were paid for that one previously.
B
What?
C
The Road to?
B
No, I paid for it at the rental car place, so I knew I was covered. I was like, this is bogus. They're acting like I was going to get, like, have to go to court and shit. So anyways, they shot me a message saying I needed to reschedule our shipment because we missed it. Which I was like, damn, how the fuck we missed the shipment?
C
Whatever.
B
We're. We're on the go. So I go to reschedule, and it was like a reshipment fee. And I was like, whatever. Just paid it. And then there's the next day. I was like, hey, we got a shipment coming at this time. I don't even know what it is. We got so many different things on the way.
D
Can't miss it.
B
Yeah, but someone's got to be here, because it was a whole ordeal. And then I realized I was like, oh, that was probably a scam, because I was.
A
You told me, like, yeah, are you gonna be around the shop? The shipments gonna show up I'm like, well, do you have a time, like a rough time, like when I should be here? And you're like, oh, you're looking for like.
B
Oh, yeah, I clicked the link. I clicked the link and it said.
A
I think I was scammed.
B
I clicked the link and it was like, this might be a scammer website. But it didn't say that the first time. Like, what the frick, dude? So then I was like, ah, let me just cancel the credit card.
E
Got him a new card coming.
B
It was no big deal. No big deal. They didn't even get anything from us. They were too slow, not fast enough.
C
Yeah, what would they do? Like, go to Walmart and run it off?
F
Cards just start running the charges up.
B
The thing is, like, if you have American Express and like a good card, like we have, even if they would have ran it up, American Express would have covered it. Not saying that would have been good. It would have still been a headache. But, like, we really. I wasn't that concerned. You thought it was a bigger deal than it was?
A
No, I just thought it was funny. Yeah, no, the world was coming down. I thought it was just hilarious.
B
Yeah. No, it definitely was not my proudest moment.
E
People get scammed, dude.
C
I got scammed.
D
Those sirons got to be coming any day now.
E
We've came a long way since then. Now we have like 30e bikes. Yeah, but before then we had no E bikes. So now.
C
Yeah, if you really just dollar cost average, all of them. Mike, you're. You're into all of our E bikes that we got for free for like a thousand bucks.
B
Yeah.
D
Not bad, actually.
B
In the end. You're up. How do you guys like those new E bikes? They're like. There's so many different brands. There's so many different brands now and they all are kind of. It seems like the same. They look similar to some degree and they all seem to work pretty decent, but obviously, which one's the best? Like, what are we. What are we working with for brands? And how would you rank them at this point?
A
From what I've written, the Altus is just my favorite. I think it's the sickest. They're the fastest. They come like the best suspension. They're just set up out the box rippers.
B
It's crazy, but I haven't wrote all.
A
Of them, so I don't.
C
Right.
A
But from what I've wrote though, we have.
C
Yeah.
E
I'd go like, Altis, Eide, Suron, then Talaria, then Roar.
B
Wow.
A
My problem with Suron's third.
B
Huh.
A
Well, my problem with the Surrons is every. You kind of got to hop them up for them to be sick. And every time I ride one, it's like somebody else has built it. And when you build something, it's kind of like, tailored to the person that built it. So to me, it always felt kind of whack. Even though it probably was a really nice bike, I just didn't like it. And there's something about hopping on a bone stock, out of the box bike that just.
B
It works. Yeah. It is crazy that you can hop on one of these electric bikes, and it kind of looks like a hybrid between a dirt bike and a mountain bike. But the fact that you guys can go and clear all the jumps on our, like, huge track, that was insane.
A
Hitting 50 footers on an E bike with mountain bike tires is like.
B
That's what I'm saying, dude. Like, it just. It's surprising how well they work. And it's crazy that the times we.
E
Live in, the true testament is, is that, like, we literally don't. If we have a decision to make E bikes, pit bikes, or big bikes. And it's always E bikes. Like, every time we have a chance, we're just out on E bikes. Like, we're not giving up on either of the other ones. But that's a testament. We're like E bikes.
D
That's your choice.
C
Yeah, the E bikes over pit bikes, like, any day because they have more power. They're just easier.
E
Like, and it's like the wheels big part of it, you know? Like whenever you're riding on anything rough on a pit bike, you just, like, it's not fun. And then you're on an E bike and it's pretty much full size bike.
C
Yeah, the E bikes are so sick.
B
Let's pull up the video.
D
Yeah, pull up the video, Rich. Frickin bootin. How many feet you think that was, rich, bro?
C
45, 50, probably.
D
I didn't realize Rich was such a ripper.
B
Dude, Rich was high. Like, he was pretty airborne. He was also that too, but he was. He was airborne and he kind of was like boner airing it. But he was countering it by leaning forward.
C
He was humping the bars, getting over the. Over the battery a little bit.
B
Yeah. I'm just glad Rich didn't. Didn't wipe.
C
But the best part was so bro.
B
Rich, if you go down, I don't know what that looks like.
C
I did a driveway a little bit.
B
But yeah, that was a. Not even a crash.
E
You bent my bars Bro, that's fine.
C
Oh, yeah, he did go down, dude.
E
Like, so Rich, he used to race back in the day. He gets back on it and starts, like, clearing the jumps, clearing some mid sized ones. I'm like, dude, this is so lit. And then this jump that you're about to watch right now, I tried and I cased the out of it, and then Evan, or then Rich greased it. So that was pretty sick.
C
Harder case out of my raptor.
E
About like your raptor right there. Blew the blood vessel in my feet.
C
Really?
D
Really? Left foot.
E
Yeah.
B
Keep in mind, Rich probably raced like 20 years ago.
D
Yeah.
B
Rich, come here.
C
Rich, come here.
D
I don't think anyone even believes it's.
A
You on the bike right now. I said nobody even believes it's you.
B
On the bike right now.
A
What do you have to say to the haters?
C
Drop the. Drop the chin. Drop the chin.
A
Let's see your face.
C
That's what he has to say.
A
It's not a stunt double.
C
How do I open this thing?
B
There's panicking.
D
All right.
B
Get it off me. It's really him. Rich, when was the last time you jumped a bike?
C
Probably 12 years.
B
That's what I'm saying.
C
If not longer, maybe in the rust.
E
Off, just like that.
B
And then hitting a big jump on a. An electric mountain bike hybrid type of thing. Like, I'd rather hit that on a full dirt bike, I'd imagine.
C
Well, like, we rode on the pit bike track, and it's like figuring out where to center yourself because they're so light. But then, like, once you figure out where to center yourself, those altuses, they're good.
B
They're just. They're pretty easy.
D
You think it had anything to do with the helmet, Rich?
C
Yeah, for sure. The aerodynamics?
B
Yeah.
C
The open face.
B
Yeah. Did you have any darts while you were wearing that helmet?
C
He did after.
B
That's a. That's a cigarette smoker.
E
Give me the helmet. I can drop the front and smoke cigs with Rich.
B
So you.
A
You build all these pristine tracks. In 12 years, you've never been like, man.
C
Well, my thing is, is, like, I mean, we rode for what, two days? And I was dropping the jumps. Like, I know if I get a bike, I'm gonna just start pressing, you know, so, like, I don't want to get hurt because then I can't work.
A
Yeah, you can drive a dozer with a busted leg or something.
C
You can carry me up in there.
A
No, I can't.
C
Yeah, see, you're gonna be calling us up. Yo, can you bring Lunch out.
B
Can you bring the skitty to put.
C
Me in the dozer?
E
Yeah. That's good. Yeah. We are vamping up for summer, though. It's good times.
C
How the heck do you build dirt bike tracks? Like, the way you do without, without, like, sessioning them at all. Like, I guess it's just muscle memory at this point. I literally can feel in the dozer, like, the transitions and, like, how good it's gonna be. I believe pretty wild. Yeah, I believe that, too.
E
Always perfect.
C
Because, like, even literally, like, when I build, I'll back up on the track and, like, pretend I'm driving the track in the dozer just to kind of keep my line straight. And then, you know, with the jumps, you could feel like if they're steeper. You know what I mean? Yeah, you could feel it. How many tracks have you built? Hundreds.
D
Is ours the sickest?
E
No.
C
No comment. We're planning to do a little track revamp and just, like, maybe fix some of the current jumps, but also add to them and have, like, a couple different options. Because, like, when we built the first track, we had Rich build it with, like, every single vehicle in mind. So we could take a dirt bike on it, and then we could take a side by side, and then we could also take a Impala or a Harley Davidson motorcycle. And now we have just, like, other options and other tracks and, I guess, more space. So we're just trying to, like, dial in a couple different tracks. So it's like, you know, we can take the Harley Davidson over here, but then you also have, like, an actual dirt bike track.
D
Yeah, yeah.
A
Like, the track was always super sick for dirt bikes, but it is going to be really sick when it's dialed in specifically for dirt bikes.
C
Yeah. I think it's just going to be like, we're going to have more tracks, more tailored to different vehicles. And so we're planning on, like, revamping the current track, building another one, and then also doing, like, an enduro setup where we set up, like, a bunch of rocks and mud, pit and logs and things like that, you know, for our Canadian buddy Spenny to get all revved up over. Speaking of the track, we're at the bar the other day, and nice young gal came up to us and was like, my parents are your guys's neighbors.
B
Oh.
C
And I was like, like, our neighbors neighbors. And she was like, yeah, well, it's my mom and my stepdad, like, the. And my stepdad is the one that yelled at you guys.
D
Oh, no.
C
Yeah. Okay. And just that she was, she was like the nicest girl. Nicest girl. And she was just like, yeah, I'm sorry. Basically, I'm sorry about him.
D
That sucks to have to put her in that spot, you know, like she felt as he had to friggin apologize.
B
Yeah.
C
And I was. I didn't really get to the bottom of it. Like, if he like really does hate us. Well, clearly does. But I don't know, I was still a little confused as to like, if he was like, would actually sue. But she was just like, yeah. I mean he's just like a hothead. I wouldn't take it personal.
A
Did you see their stakes down there now?
B
Yeah, I did.
C
Really?
B
They put stakes down to like try to establish the line. Well, don't worry about it. We're never going back over on that side again.
E
So I don't even like looking at it.
B
Really?
E
Yeah. Got ptsd.
B
Really?
A
Can I take the driveway?
E
That's what I mean. I don't even like looking at his driveway.
C
Yeah, right. Don't even think about it, Mike. I don't know why, but like certain people, I guess, just treat our privacy.
B
As if there is no.
C
As if there is none. Exactly.
D
I think people think this is a business, not a home. Like we. We characterize this as our home where we are doing the things that we do. But like, I think people think this is like walking into U motors and sitting down and waiting for your favorite salesman to come up and talk to you, you know?
E
Yeah.
D
And they just think that because there's a utility door on the front of it, not a house door. You know, we could have Glenn on guard duty.
B
Can we put this video footage of the guy just wandering around our shop? That's kind of funny.
C
Yeah.
B
Just speed it up. Him just like checking it out. He could have stole some. Like he could have taken a memory card. He could have taken like some money. He could have taken a checkbook. Like, honestly, he's lucky that we don't press charges on him.
C
Yeah.
B
Like straight up, it's trespassing. And we have a lot of memory cards that have footage on it of whatever. And he could have easily just went took that. Like, that's worst case. I'd rather have him take money than that. But people probably was on these memory cards. But not that that matters, but it's just. But yeah, you know, like, if you really think about it, it's pretty whack.
D
It is.
B
That's super whack. And then we were trying to be. Well, I didn't talk to him, but you guys were trying to be nice to him, and he was just sitting.
C
There, and then he.
B
He goes ahead and just says, yeah, well, I don't support you guys. I don't like what you're doing. And then you were just like, then why are you here, dude? And then you just closed the door on him. Yeah, like, what. What were you doing then? Is the weirdest thing, which makes me think he was just drunk.
E
But, yeah, I hate to drag this. He was drinking a. I wasn't there, but I saw the video of Rich was home from the bar after that. When he hangs out with us, we get him drunk. What can we say?
C
But, dude, no, no, no. Rich gets himself drunk when he hangs out with us.
A
Just not very good at drinking.
E
He's talking about. He's the guy that came over, is talking about, like, kids riding. Whatever. I didn't know. No one knew what was going on. And you're just like, here's the motto. Man, them kids.
C
Yeah, Rich said that. And I was like, all right, hold on now. No, that is not the motto around here. Like, memes on Instagram where it's like.
B
You just expect him to know the memes.
C
Liquored up and trying to be funny. I was like, that is not the motto, because the last thing I need is him just. Just going home and just being. Yeah, apparently their motto over there is the kids. I was like, that is not that. I don't even know who this guy is right now. I. I'm sorry about him. Well, then when he wanted to ride, I was like, no, the track's sketchy. The track builder's sketchy. Yeah, I agreed with that. But, yeah.
B
What a crazy situation. It's just another day, man.
C
Should we talk about the Gavin and Jake fight, or should we think we should.
F
Should we get both of them on here if we talk about that?
B
Do you think that they want to talk about that? Like, I feel like there's still.
C
I think there's still some animosity. For sure.
A
There is fine. Talking about it. I don't think Gavin wants to talk about.
B
I think Gavin feel. Yeah, Gavin probably doesn't want to talk about it, but it does seem a little crazy. I mean, maybe it's. Maybe it's best that we just tell the story. I don't know.
A
Gavin gets friendzoned. Jake Banks, the girl. Gavin gets pissed, starts a fight that he can't win, and gets his ass beat. Story done.
E
There you have it, folks.
C
Evan's such a storyteller.
B
What a colorful Book the driest way.
E
You can put it.
D
Careful back.
A
I mean, I. I really paraphrase it down there. There's a lot more details to that. I just really.
B
Yeah, I mean, there's two different angles, but, yeah, basically there might even be a third. Yeah, there's definitely. There's probably three different perspectives to this. So if we want to tell. So that maybe we tell the neutral side of it, which is something along the lines of Gavin was talking to some girl, Jake ended up talking to the same girl, then the girl started hanging around Jake, and Gavin felt as though he swooped in on his girl, which, you know, there is a bro code, but also there's a blurred line here, and there's not really, like, a clear, clean cut to this. So I feel like there's not a right or wrong side. But moral of the story is Gavin and Jake ended up boxing to, like, settle the difference. And we went to, like, a gym and we filmed it, and you're going to see it here. And it was a week or two. It was legendary. Honestly, it takes balls to get into a ring, no matter who you're fighting. Because the thing is, even though Jake, his dad is a Golden Gloves boxer, Jake's box since he was a little kid, he's never actually fought anyone. But he understands boxing, and he was fighting Gavin. He's never put gloves on his life. Huge props to Gavin, because that takes balls. But even for Jake, he understood when I was talking to him before, he's like, I mean, it's a fight. Like, anything could happen. He could get knocked out. It just takes one punch.
C
They both got clocked pretty good.
B
Gavin landed some punches on Jake that were very hard, and his head went fully cocked back. And Gavin wore a number of punches as well. They both took a pounding. They really did.
D
This is like a Rockham Sock and Robots lineup right here. I mean, Jake's still protecting himself, but both of them punching each other in the face at the same time.
B
At the end of the day, they're still going to have to be boys, because I think they are.
C
I mean, great. Gavin obviously took the bigger L with his chick getting robbed, and then he got punched in the face more times than Jake did.
B
But also, are you going to invest or not?
C
It is what it is. On Gavin's point where it's not like he's going to, like, just not hang out with Jake anymore. And I think he realizes that. And he also probably realizes that, you know, Jake's going to be Jake and just. He's Going to fuck over his boys. That's what he does, you know, and hopefully he doesn't take it too personal.
E
But a statement was made, dude.
C
A statement was made. And I got to give Gav his flowers for like stepping, stepping in the ring.
B
I thought it was awesome.
E
I wouldn't have done it.
B
I thought it was awesome.
C
I wouldn't have done it either. I wouldn't either.
B
No freaking way.
C
I wouldn't get in the ring.
B
Sucker punch Jake when he did that to you.
E
Yeah, but.
C
Oh, seriously. Wait, wait, wait.
E
Actually, when Jake really, really drunk and I don't even remember doing it, but he was like saying, yeah, one free punch since I broke the bro code and so I guess I punched him. I don't know how hard. But I. I would not box Jake. That's all I got to say. I wouldn't box Gavin either.
C
I wouldn't either.
B
No.
D
Yeah, Bald shadow.
C
Yeah, the ball shadow. And Gav did get in there. I thought he did really good. Dude.
B
Gav would have beat me up if I fought him, that's for sure.
D
100.
B
He looked, he looked pretty good in there for being a non boxer first.
F
Time, especially considering he had 15 minutes of training the day before.
B
I think he did pretty good. Literally, he did a good job.
C
15 minutes, really?
B
I mean, that says how she goes.
A
Awesome.
E
I mean, everyone that watches YouTube loves when YouTubers box.
B
Yeah. What's up with that?
E
I don't know.
B
But I mean, I think the nice thing about like a boxing match like that is like they were able to go and fight each other and swing for the fences and even connect many times. But due to having gloves and headgear on, it was chill. But like, if they were fighting bare fists wherever else, if one of those hard punches landed like their face, they'd have for sure a black eye, broken nose, possibly even knocked out. Like there were some solid heavy punches throwing that were connected from both sides.
C
To the bare knuckle fights are insane.
B
Yeah, they would be looking pretty rough. I mean, it probably just wouldn't have gone nearly as long. That would have been the thing. It would have been a 30 second fight instead of fucking four minutes, whatever it was.
C
Yeah. Do bare knuckle fights ever go to the distance?
B
Oh, yeah. The real bare knuckle fighters, they are like, it's. It's rough. I mean, they are badasses.
A
It's actually hard on their hands. Yeah, it's a big thing for sure.
B
They break their knuckles, but yeah, I mean they get so much more cut up this the thing with, like, the bare knuckle fighting, it kind of just seems like the toughest UFC fighters who are now kind of washed up, they're. They're not good enough to keep fighting in the ufc. They then go to bare knuckle fighting, but it takes a special breed. Like, only, like, the really tough guys who can take hits seem to go, and then, like, they almost end their career there. But Conor McGregor owns, like, or partly owns bare knuckle fighting, so it's becoming a pretty big thing. It's. It's crazy, though. Like, I mean, it's way more brutal than ufc.
A
I wonder if it's a little better. Like, you know, the whole thing. Like, MMA fights can appear more brutal, but the. There's the matches, or the fights are, like, shorter. Like boxing, you're going however many rounds. What, 10, 10 rounds? Yeah, you're just constantly getting your head and brains getting rattled around. I think it might look more brutal, but there might be an aspect of. It's, like, a little better on the.
B
Body, maybe, I think. No, they. They do say that boxing compared to ufc, just because boxing, you're usually, I guess, in ufc, like, if you get hit, you're just kind of out, whereas boxing, like, you can be concussed but then not knocked out. And then you take more and more and more. Or, like, you get knocked out or you get hit down, you're clearly concussed, and then they give you 10 seconds to get back up and regroup. Whereas in UFC, there isn't that, like, if you get knocked down, they might get on top of you, hit you one more time, and that's it.
D
Yeah, some choking you out before, you know.
E
You know, maybe take more of a beating, full body wise. In ufc, like, you're taking a kick to the ribs and this and that, but, yeah, you're right. In boxing, it's just a lot of head, dude.
B
My favorite thing, though, of the Jake vs. Gavin fight was, like, it must have been what it felt like to be, like, one of Jake Paul's friends. Like, Gavin was going to fight, and we were cruising around the sprinter van, like, all, like, amped up, like, listening to, like, Linkin park and, like, like, just fight songs.
E
He's got American flag.
B
Yeah, we're just, like, we're gonna. He's gonna kick his ass. Like, we were.
E
We were.
B
I hate. Sorry, Jake, but we were on Gavin's side at least for. For that. And. But it was lit, dude. It was electric. That was so fun.
C
It was. It was so fun. I was the announcer slash promoter of it. So I was in the ring intro in both of them, and, like, a couple of people that were at the fight have, like, texted me after, like. That was a great intro. Good job on that one.
B
Yeah. Ben, you were, like, just the classic perfect promoter. You walked in with the A side. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
You're.
B
You're on the A side. A side loses, and then you left with the B side. So you were on the winning side on the way in and on the.
C
Way out, and his pockets fall like any good promoter. Yeah. The real winner of the night.
E
Yeah, that was funny. I walked out, just press record on the camera, and you're literally, like, making a deal with Jake and you're like.
C
Whoa, yeah, we'll go far, Jake. I'll take care of all the financial side of things. And you just do. Just fight.
D
Yeah, just keep beating people up.
B
Just going to Don King them.
E
That's your. Your promoting company name. Will go far.
C
We'll go far.
B
Or you could call yourself Don King Jr. Don King was Mike Tyson's promoter after his, like, initial coach died. And then he took, like, millions from Mike Tyson.
E
Wow.
B
Millions. Millions.
A
But he had sick hair.
B
Yeah, he did.
D
But.
B
But even Don King, when Mike Tyson lost, he was on the other guy's side.
C
Yeah. I don't know. Jake was even texting me this morning.
B
Like, he wants to get back in the ring.
C
Yeah. He was like, dude, that was so electric.
D
Yeah.
C
I was like, yeah, I bet you had a great time.
B
Keeps bringing it up, too. That's what I say. Yeah, I'm sure you did have fun.
C
Yeah.
A
Come to think about, I was actually texting Jacob.
E
He must have did it. Yeah. He texted me the day after.
B
He doesn't want anyone to forget about.
C
Yeah, right.
E
He's like, oh, that was so awesome. Thanks, boys. Love you, bud.
C
Yeah, he was. He was sending me videos of the announcers of me announcing, and he's like, dude, imagine, like, doing that in front of, like, 10,000 people. And, like, I walk out and fight. I was like, yeah, should we do it? He was like, bro, we should actually do it. We should line up another fight. He's got the winning bug now.
B
Yeah. I mean, I think Jake clearly won. He won the girl, he won the fight. But I think once the video comes out, the fans are going to be on Gavin's side. Just from my years of experience of seeing how things go, I think Gavin will win the people over. Even though he lost.
C
And Jake was saying that too. He was like, all Right. I look like a dick for stealing Gav's girl. And then I get in the ring and I beat him up, and then I look like a bigger dick because I win or I steal his girl. And then he beats me up, and I look like an idiot. He was like, what do I have to gain here? We're like, well, you did steal his.
B
Girl, so you got to fight him because he wants you to fight him.
E
Yeah, yeah.
C
And he's like, fair enough. Rich was supposed to. Rich was supposed to be the ref, but he got too drunk. It was his birthday, and he thought the whole event was just for him, so he was celebrating early.
B
Yeah, I thought we picked up a drunk native off the corners and put.
C
A king on him, and we literally did. Dude, we showed up, right? And we painted on the ref costume under. Under Rich.
E
Yeah.
C
What size shirt you are?
A
2X.
C
Oh, here's a large. So. So Rich is already throwing a temper tantrum about the freaking ref jersey, and he's getting way too hammered on the way. Then we're like, dude, you keep in mind, you have to, like, be the officiant here. Like, not the official. The official. The official. You can't be this Larry it up, otherwise you're not going to know what to do. You already don't know what to do. And he's, oh, fine. Hops in the ring, holding the beer. And then, like, the main guy that owned the gym was like, yeah, I think I'll be the ref.
B
Yeah, Rich wanted. Rich was all still drunk after, and he was like, dude, I want to fight that guy. I go, rich, I don't think you should fight the guy who owns the boxing gym. I don't think that's a good idea all over there. Let's just go home.
C
Well, I thought it was gonna be, like, something funny, and, like, bro, if.
B
You got in the ring with that guy, he would not have let you even. It would not have been playful at all. Like, a guy like that needs to put a person like you in the. In his place.
C
Well, he was trying to make the fight, like, more of, like, a serious thing, and I was, like, more there to be funny, and.
B
Yeah, I mean, it was serious.
C
It's his jam, and he didn't want nobody to get hurt, so I get it. But at that point, like, I was pretty liquored up, so I was.
B
Amen. There was blood drawn and some heavy punches thrown. It was great. It really was. I'm proud of both of them.
A
I had the giggles the whole time.
B
Yeah, I know. You were just laughing your ass off.
E
I didn't expect anything else out of you, dude.
C
Evan's sitting there laughing, talking to Gavin's sister.
E
Like, what?
C
Like, as if this could get any worse for Gavin. He looks back, and Evan is there schmoozing his sister. Oh, chill.
A
I wasn't schmoozing.
E
I was. What's your, like, favorite kind of comedy? Some people are like, I like dry humor. Evan's like, I like, dismay of other people.
C
Actually, as soon as the second round.
A
Started and the blood started flowing, it was like, oh, my God.
C
Couldn't wipe the smile off your face.
B
Tears started going down his face, dude.
A
I'm like, this is actually getting ugly. Is really what I thought. Like, it was very funny. They're both. Two homies are punching each other. Like, that's great entertainment. I don't care who you are. But then when he, like, actually starts bleeding, it's like, okay, this is kind of an ugly turn. Like, obviously, I didn't want to see anyone get hurt. And all of a sudden, he's bleeding all over the place.
C
I'm not so sure I'm convinced of that statement, Evan.
A
Well, I knew Gab was gonna lose. I said it the whole time.
C
He's got a tear in his eye right now just thinking about it.
B
Dude.
A
I gave Gab a big hug before. I'm like, gavin, I am rooting for you, but I am betting against you. It was so obvious what was gonna happen. Like, I knew we had to hype him up, but I almost felt like you guys were being bad friends, giving him false.
C
False confidence.
F
Yeah, but you can't be getting in his head like that going down.
B
Regardless, I was trying to just.
E
Yeah.
B
Give him everything that he could possibly use for.
A
I was kind of addicted, Gavin, to the whole thing. Just basically saying, gav, you're going to get your ass kicked. Because I knew it was going to happen, but, like, actually, big props to him. Respect him for doing it.
C
If you were to hop in the ring, would you want it to be a ufc, like, octagon fight or a boxing ring?
A
Unless I'm fighting somebody my own height, I think I'm really not gonna. Not good at boxing. Yeah. Not gonna be better off doing. I gotta get him on the ground anytime. Yeah, I need to. I need to.
E
Evan's a real Scouser.
B
Evan's torso is about normal height, dude. On the ground, everything below it is just tiny, though.
E
Kidding.
B
I'm kidding.
A
But, yeah, you know, everyone's the same height when you're Rolling around on the floor. But, yeah, I just don't think I really have the reach I'm hitting up. I think I'm at a pretty big disadvantage. And I assume that there's going to be short boxers out there that are going to say that I'm an idiot and I can't use my height as an excuse.
C
You're probably the same height as, like, Floyd Mayweather.
B
Yeah, but he way lighter weight class than. Yeah, so, like, Floyd Mayweather is, like, 135, bro.
C
Evan.
F
Holy.
C
Evan. Yeah. What weight class would you be?
B
I'd be a heavyweight 215.
A
Fight.
B
Freaking.
A
I haven't broken two bills yet.
C
No.
E
I know you were exaggerating, CJ, but when you're filming the electric snowmobile 250 snowmobile thing, and you're like, Evan's gotta be pushing 300. Did you just seriously say Evan's almost 300 pounds?
A
I'm a rock. So what was I on weigh in the other? 185. 187.
C
No shot.
E
Decent.
B
You?
C
No shot on camera.
A
You took a video.
C
What do you think you are right now?
A
Probably right. Exactly there.
C
You think you've gained weight since our fitness challenges started?
E
Don't ask him that.
A
I think I'm just, like, the same, honestly. I think I'm 185 to 190 right in the pocket, depending on the dump.
E
Of the day scales, though. I don't mess with them.
B
You ever weigh yourself after, like, before and after a dump?
A
No, I actually have.
B
Never haven't.
A
Have you?
B
Oh, yeah, many times.
C
Really?
D
Yeah, just for fun.
A
What's your record?
B
I don't really. I guess I don't know my record. But, like, I mean, it's. It's not uncommon to lose three pounds.
E
Holy crap.
B
Pounds. You guys will be some more infant.
D
I. I guess I. I weighed myself the other day, and then I was like, oh, crap, I really have to pee. I should probably pee before I weigh myself. And I lost, like. I think it was like, £2.
E
What?
A
I guess that is a pound and a half.
D
1.8.
A
Liquid's kind of heavy. Like a gallon is.
B
Yeah.
D
So, I mean, you know, you got that. And I was only doing half the.
E
Work, so, like, I weighed myself. Yes. Or two days ago holding my cat, and then weighed myself without holding my cat, and I was 11 pounds lighter.
B
Well, that's important to know.
D
You think we can go back to the country club, like, after Ben's birthday?
E
I was just gonna bring that same thing up.
C
Ryan pretty concerned about that. Ryan I was actually thinking of that.
D
And, like, I. I was good.
B
I'm trying. You were not good, Ryan. You didn't even finish 18 holes there by choice.
F
There's a number of holes at the country club. I think I'm just gonna skip from now on.
C
You should just stop golfing.
F
No, I. I do wanna. I do want to learn how to golf. I. I just shanked on. I think it's hole six. I shanked it really hard to the right, and that's where the parking lot is.
B
So you hit some cars?
F
I think I hit a car.
B
You know, Ben's actually got a dent in the side of his Urus. Does that make sense?
F
I. I'm just talking theoretically. I didn't actually do that, so.
B
So he shouldn't send you the bill. No. Dude, that was so fun. So we're getting into golfing. I'd like to say I might have led the charge at least in everyone getting new clubs. So I've been wanting to learn how to actually play a game of golf. Like, if I tried going golfing with these guys, let's just say last year, I'm kind of just using some miscellaneous clubs that we have, you know, left over from reckless golfing over the last five years. And, I mean, honestly, I'm not even playing with these guys. Like, these guys hit the ball, it goes somewhere down the fairway or. Or near it, and then I would hit it and it would maybe go five feet in front of me or, like, way off into, like, three holes away to the right or left, whatever. So it was just like. Then I'd go and drop a ball and I'd do the thing again. So, like, it was hardly like I was even playing, but I was like, this summer I want to learn how to. Actually, I don't need to be good. I just want to be able to play. Like, just play with the guys. I don't need to compete with them. So I go out and I get a new set of clubs, and I didn't spend a lot of money. I tried. I got, like, the middle level, middle ground. The. The kids at Shields are trying to upsell me. They knew who I was. And we're like, oh, no, trust me, you're gonna want these clubs. They're way more forgiving this, that, and the other. And I was like, I'm gonna go with the. With the middle ground. Cheap ones. So anyways, hit the driving range. Next day, I go back to get some shoes. I run into Ken and Mike there, both at the same time. They didn't even go together. And they're buying golf clubs too.
E
Ken and I were doing it out of necessity though.
F
So the dude that was helping me, you walk up right as he starts chatting with me and he tries selling me on like a twelve hundred dollar like six iron or something.
B
I was like, I was trying to get Ken.
F
I was like, this is absurd.
C
1200?
B
No, it was just the irons. It was, yes. Oh, iron set. Yeah, but it's like 1200 bucks which is like how much I spent total bag and full set. But so then I'm trying to get Kennet, he ends up getting the same set as me. Then Mike gets the same exact set. So we're all kind of rolling with the same like middle level, like entry ground set. And we show up to Ben's birthday to go golfing. And then Ryan pulls up and this dude ended up buying the most expensive set.
C
He got suckered.
B
He bought the nicest.
D
Can I tell the real story? Do you want to just like run with where I want to hear the real story. I bought the nicest driver. I did spend 600 on a driver, which was stupid because I suck at driving. But I bought the cheat. I bought like the middle ground.
C
Oh really?
B
Your irons look nicer than ours though.
D
They were like 6, 699 for all my irons. And then I bought a putter that was, you know, fricking expensive. But it was, it was, where I went wrong was because I wanted to get a different bag than you guys because I didn't want to end up with the same clubs in the same bag. And we walk up to the hole and we all throw our chipping wedges on the ground. And then I got Ken's who was hitting a tree earlier and you know, whatever. So I'm like, I got to get something different. And it just, it just got out of hand by the time that I bought a shirt, shoes, you know.
B
Yeah, it was just fun. It was super funny. Cuz Ryan ends up sending us a Snapchat before and I. How much was it? Like 2600 or something.
D
2600 bucks.
B
So he was more than double what we, we had in. And we were laughing like holy. Ryan got some. The nice ones they got him. Cuz like we knew what it was like going there and they're trying to upsell you. So then we get there and, and we're all playing and we were giving Ryan though because he had the most expensive clubs. But he only played 16 holes. He quit on hole 16.
D
Well, I had transfusions, and I was just holding the group up, and I was like, I'm not really doing. I'm not having fun sucking right now, and I'm not learning anything. And the golf pros came and yelled at us for four times, even though we haven't done anything for pace of play.
E
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
D
Well, he can't. No, he came and, yeah, he was mad about us being together at one point, and he was like, you can't do that. I was like, all right. We split up then. And he's like, hey, keep the carts over there. And it was like, I don't know. I was right on the blue line. So I was like, damn, okay, keep the carts over there. And then he was, like, driving around following us. I was like, we're not reckless golfing. I want to just have a nice time and my buddies. Ben's birthday.
B
Honestly, I. I hear you on that. I understand. Those guys are annoying. Like, the. The clubhouse pros are annoying. I was. I showed up first because I was excited to go play, and I just go in, you know, and I go to, like, pay for me. For me and get a cart. And the guy was so condescending towards me. I was like, does he know I'm new here? Or, like, why. Why is he being so rude to.
D
Me if it ain't the consequences of our own actions?
B
But he didn't know who I was. He. I promise he didn't know who I was because I was dressed like a freaking stereotypical golfer with, like, a collared shirt and tucked in and everything. Nothing. Seabo. And the guy definitely didn't know who I was. And, yeah, he was just so condescending. And so I'm not surprised to hear him coming out and doing that with you. And it just reminds me of when we were golfing with grandpa at the Mori Country Club, and their pro was just being just a freaking douche canoe. It's every.
C
It's every golf course. Yeah, they just.
B
But. But those guys who run the pro shop just think they're apparently, like, some classy. Like, I'm like, bro, I'll give you a reason if you really want one to be worried about for us on the golf course. But, like, we're just literally mind our own business playing, like, just suck at golf. If you're. If you really want something to complain about, we'll give you something.
F
I was a little worried by the guy that was, like, playing behind us, and then he, like, walks up. I was like, oh, boy. We're, you know, he's gonna be saying something, we're doing something wrong. He's like, hey, it looks like you guys need a shot. And he pulled out an ice hole bottle.
D
He was a great dude.
F
And I was like, why, why is the pro being so mad at, like.
D
Everyone'S fine here because we were having fun. But I, to be fair, was with this guy. And he does look like trouble.
E
Yeah. Jake and him pulled up looking like we were going to reckless golf, but other than that, we didn't do anything wrong.
D
And I don't know. My, my recollection might have been hazy. I think I had about six transfusions.
C
Definitely, like, paid your paid your way for playing on their golf course.
B
All angles, even if you didn't get the drinks. It was expensive, dude. I could not believe how expensive it is to play 18 holes. It was like 100 bucks, which is crazy, cuz.
C
Well, I mean, and there's different tiers to it. We, we were playing on, like, a nicer course.
B
But yeah, I, I, it just surprising me because so many people golf, and they golf every weekend, if not two times a weekend. And I'm like, damn.
C
So these get membership?
D
How much is a membership?
C
740 bucks.
D
Oh, nice.
B
Okay.
D
I mean, if you're going to use.
B
It, these people are spending a lot of money. Otherwise, I was, like, stressed out for.
A
Ben because Ben actually golfs.
B
Yeah.
C
And I actually, that's my home course. Guess what?
E
Ben was stressed out for Ben too.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah. And I'm at home. I'm seeing this. Honestly, I literally just saw how Cody and Jake pulled up. Is almost. I'm just like, this is a circus.
C
So now. All right, so, so CJ had mentioned that, you know, he's trying to get into golf along with the rest of the guys. Right. So, like, I enjoy golf. If I want to do something fun, I go golfing. Like, that's, that's been my thing. Thankfully, Evan also enjoys golfing too. And he's a good player. So, like, that, that has been, like, me and Evan's thing that we just like, we'll go and do. Rich enjoys golfing. He's a good player, too.
B
And you only beat him by one stroke.
C
So, like, that's like, our thing. But now the rest of the guys are, like, getting into it, and they're bad. Right. It's honestly, it's golf etiquette. Like, you just have, you just have to act differently when you're on a golf course. It's just like, country club rules, Cheeto as it is.
B
Yeah. Like a little prison.
C
You don't have to do that. You just have to be, like, respectful of the course and, like.
D
Yeah.
B
You know, act like you're super rich.
C
People that are there, like, take a lot of pride in the golf course. Like, that is like, they're like their little piece of paradise. Right. Especially, like, the locals, like. Like Evan's dad that lives on the golf course, golfs there every single day. Like, they don't necessarily just take kindly to, like, outsiders coming in and just, like, acting fools. Right.
D
Makes sense.
E
I feel like I've just been conditioned differently.
C
Exactly. No, no, we don't. We have. In the way that we have experience or the way that you guys have experienced golf in the last six years is, like, could not be the more polar opposite of that. Right. But it's just, like, a different standard, I guess, of, like, when you go to a golf course, like, they just. They just don't take kindly to fudge around.
B
Yeah.
C
And I mean, we've seen that. But also, there's an attitude that comes within. Like, they put themselves, like, above which. Which isn'. Necessary. And that's not with every course, too. But that. That is a. That's, like, kind of your standard golf pro. Like. Like, they're the CEO, of course, but.
B
And I completely understand. We've done a lot of horrendous acts on a golf course. I mean, when we go there and we're just minding our own business, playing good, and I know these people don't even know who we are, and they're coming out, I'm like, man, this is. These people are just something else.
A
I have so much fun, reckless golfing. Like, it's the greatest, especially with that start cart. But it is so stressful for me. Like, literally, I probably was a year old when I started playing golf. Done it my whole life, so I just know how you're supposed to act. And everything we do is so, again, criminal.
B
Yeah.
C
It's like when we brought Grandpa Ron there. Like, Grandpa Ron golfs every single day. He lives on a golf course. And, like, as much of a degenerate as Grandparon is, which is wild to say. He literally. He couldn't even break that, like, the golf etiquette to. To be a degenerate with us for the video. Like, he was, like, so grained in his ways of, like, respecting the golf course. He, like, couldn't. Couldn't partake in our shenanigans, which is pretty standard of, like, golfers do. Golfers don't around.
B
Yeah. I Mean, I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to go on the golf course and reckless golf with us. I just want to really make it clear I'm not complaining about how they treat us when we're reckless golfing, because that's super deserved. I don't think that they should be so hard on us.
C
It is crazy, though. Like, you guys do more damage to the golf course when you're actually golfing.
B
I agree. 100.
C
Than when we're reckless golfing. Like, straight up. When we're reckless golfing. Like, if we jump a sand trap, we just go and rake the sand trap and it's perfectly fine. You would never even know that we're there. Like, we don't drive on the greens or, like, do burnouts or donuts in the grass. Like, any of that. Like, the golf course does not get damaged when. When we're reckless golfing. When you guys are actually golfing, taking divots out of who knows what the. The greens, trying to putt. You're so bad.
D
For real, Ken.
C
You're leaving. You're leaving your. Your irons all over the course.
D
That's. Ken.
C
You are.
B
You are.
C
You're not raking the. The sand traps because you don't even know that you're supposed to do that.
D
You didn't rake your sand traps, Ken.
C
Ken doesn't even know how to golf in the slightest.
F
You were. You were playing ahead of us. You were not playing behind us. So you cannot be throwing those accusations.
D
Golf.
C
I played golf with you before, but, you know, I think that it is probably misconstrued that, like, we're just, like, damaging the course, which we don't.
B
You know, it'd be a great business owning a golf course.
C
There's one for sale in northern Minnesota. I don't Golf course.
A
I don't think it's that good of a business.
B
There's a lot of bro overhead.
A
Yeah, you're probably right to maintain the grass and have a decent course. And it's just.
D
I don't know.
A
I think it's very expensive.
B
A lot of.
C
A lot of courses are, like, municipal, so they're owned by the city, dude.
B
Golf is super fun, though. I. I really do like it. And, like, I'm. I'm craving it right now. Like, I want to go. Go hit some balls.
C
Addicting.
B
So fun. Once I learned shot. Once I learned how to hit it somewhat straight. It is super fun.
E
Yeah.
C
And you did. You picked it up. You're a terrible putter. Your short game is actually insanely. Bad. Everything up to that is. Is trending in the right direction, but we'll get on the green, and CJ will four putt from 10ft. It's insane, actually. He'll. He'll putt past the whole 10ft, and then he'll putt back another 12.
B
I'm, like, on there getting for, like, double bogey.
A
Takes you four shots.
B
Like, if you really think about it, if I just knew how to putt, I would actually be a pretty good golfer.
C
Yeah.
A
Isn't that frustrating, though? You go look at how much ground I covered with, like, one or two shots, and then you're 10ft from the hole, and you triple up the score.
B
Dude, I'm so frustrated. I'm just so new that I'm not even mad about it. I'm just happy that I'm even competing and driving the same direction as everyone else when we hop in the carts to go to our balls. Dude.
C
Yeah. Golf, it really is the greatest sport. I quit golf when I was in high school because I was, like, also just on the fringe of, like, getting good at golf. And then I quit, and I didn't play golf for, like, eight years besides for, like, us reckless golfing. And now I'm, like, trying to gain, like, the skill back. But it's, like, one of those things that if you start golfing when you're young, you're just, like, immediately 10 years ahead. Even if you golf, like, a couple times when you were younger kind of is anything.
A
It's not just golf.
C
It is anything.
A
But if you get a little natural with it when you're younger, makes such a big difference of being an adult, trying to learn that skill.
B
Yeah.
C
We're. Ken picking it up when he's 25 years old is just, like, horrendous.
F
I'm trying, though.
C
You are trying, Ken. I'm proud of you being out there. Even though it might get me banned from my local country club.
D
Yeah. I do want to say that I was, like. I was trying to be good for you. I was not trying to get in trouble, because I kind of want to go back there, too, you know?
C
Yeah. And everyone's, like, underneath my. You know, I'm. I'm setting the tea times party. Yeah. And so, like, every time you guys get in trouble, just. Which I mean, is. Whatever.
B
I don't care.
F
But I think the worst.
C
It's, like, the one thing that I actually enjoy doing, like, on my own.
D
Yeah. That we just came in and marooned.
C
For you, but we're going tomorrow.
F
So our group was doing good. We were just doing best ball scramble, you mean?
A
I'm willing to bet.
F
Sure. Yeah.
A
Best ball is where you play your own ball till the end of the hole, and then you take the best score.
F
Oh, no, we just did every. Every hit. It was just like, oh, who. Who got the. Okay, we're doing a scramble then, like.
A
I'm just trying to.
E
If I hit, can hit and you hit, but can hit the best ball. We'd only play off Ken's scramble.
F
Scramble.
E
Yep. Last thing about golf. CJ accidentally outed you to your girlfriend. I posted my thing on my story. It was 1100 bucks for my set. And she's like, nice.
B
Nice.
E
You did worse than cj? I was like, yeah, Yeah. I was like, oh, really? He. Yeah, he got a bag with his. But he paid more. And she's like, what? And I was like, what?
B
No, you're good. Well, she was like.
E
She goes, so how much money did.
B
He really lose in Vegas?
C
You said that.
B
She said that, man.
C
She said that. Damn, dude. Alex, is pocket watching you?
B
I don't know. What? Well, I think maybe just because I told her, like, yeah, I just went and picked up some clubs. Like, really? You picked up golf clubs? Like, aren't those pretty expensive?
E
I was like.
B
I was like, no, I just got the middle ground one. She's like, oh, okay. But, yeah, I kind of knew if I would have told her, they were, whatever, 1100 bucks or 1500, whatever it was, I don't. She would be like, that's a lot of money.
C
I'll tell you why that is, though, cj. It's because, like, I was dealing with this with Greta for the last couple of years until you're, like, engaged. They think that, like, every single dollar that you make should go towards, like, a ring. And, like, anything that isn't that is, like, competition to them. So, like, I'd be looking at cars, and Greta would, like, visibly get mad. She'd be like, what, you need another car? I'm like, why do you care? She's like, I don't know. It's just, like. I just really don't think that you need that.
B
If Ben gets another car, it's just going to push the engagement another year, maybe two even.
C
That's what. That's what they think. Yeah. So it's like. It's just competition.
B
Yeah, dude. I probably set myself back at least another couple months with those golf clubs.
C
Alex against the game of golf. Now she's pissed every time CJ goes.
D
Golfing well, good stuff, fellas.
E
Great stuff.
D
Let's go golfing.
C
Yeah, I'm fired up. Actually, we are going golfing this weekend.
F
You guys want to hit the range for a little bit?
E
That's what we.
B
You should hit. That's what we should, too. But these guys, they don't need any more practice.
F
I would love lessons. I think I gotta.
C
Yeah, we'll get you some lessons.
E
There we go. Subscribe if you haven't. Thanks for listening to the Life Wide Open podcast.
C
See you next week.
E
Next week.
A
Don't let your meatloaf.
