Ben
Gambling is probably the quickest way to lose any kind of wealth you have. Like, straight up.
Evan
Some kids just making TikTok saying I fell off.
Ryan
You're kind of the whole line of defense between everybody else and that bear.
Mike
Yeah.
Ben
I only gambled for 24 hours straight. I lost all. All 7,000. Yes.
Mike
Do you feel like the Cheeto army is switching up on you? Well. What's up, boys?
Ryan
Welcome back.
Mike
Good to be back.
Ryan
Missed you, kind of.
Mike
I missed you too.
Alondra
About your trip.
Mike
A little bit.
CJ
Missed you kind of.
Mike
Did you guys run a pod when I was gone?
Ryan
We did.
CJ
We did. Wasn't the same without you.
Mike
What did I miss? Give me like a. Just a spark notes.
Ryan
Ken's running an uncrustables ad.
Ben
Is he?
Ryan
Yep.
Alondra
The Super Bowl.
Ben
We're paying good money for it if.
Alondra
The brand manager can line it up.
Ryan
Yeah, we.
Ben
We're paying for him to basically have a Super bowl ad.
CJ
We did a full deep dive on Evan's gambling losses.
Mike
I thought he was up. That's how fast things change around here.
Evan
No, I don't think I was down that bad. I just said I honed it into, like, if I'm down, it's not that much. Okay. Okay. I wouldn't say too much of a deep dive, but we honed her in there.
Mike
It's crazy how much can change in a week.
Ben
Yeah. Yeah. Tell us about your trip now.
Mike
Yeah, dude, it was awesome. So what? Two podcasts ago, I had mentioned that I was going on an elk hunt. Didn't really know what to expect. Never gone on an elk hunt before. It was way different than any kind of hunting I've ever done. Like whitetail deer hunting. Not easy.
CJ
So much more extensive.
Mike
Oh, yeah. So, like, you're sitting in a stand for whitetail, Right. You're just waiting for them to come.
Ryan
Driving down the road, go home for lunch.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
Or Ryan. Or Ryan driving home.
Ryan
Yes, exactly.
Ben
But.
Mike
But yeah. Elk hunting was such a different Experience. It's hard to explain to you guys how much work it actually is.
Ryan
Where were you at?
Mike
Colorado. Like outside of Grand Junction, Colorado, where Gavin's grandpa lives.
Alondra
It looked like you were in the middle of nowhere.
Mike
So we're like staying in this canyon, like in this lodge in this canyon. Right. And we were hunting on top of the canyon. So you would do this gnarly switchback up the side of the mountain. Like, I have experienced gnarly terrain with everything that we do. Right. Snowmobiling, dirt biking, like in the mountains. Right. This switchback, which they do every single day to get up to the hunting spot, was so insane. I couldn't believe that normal people do it.
Ryan
Like, worse than pack saddle.
Mike
No, no.
Ben
They have to walk it or what?
Mike
No, you, you're in a side by side going up. It actually took a video the first morning. But. But you gotta keep in mind though, is like usually when we're going into gnarly situations, I'm aware, like, this is just what you got to do when you're doing this kind of shit, right?
Ryan
Yeah.
Mike
But going hunting, I didn't expect it to be quite like that and very quickly realized. So this is like the side by side, you're doing the dark, going up in the dark. Yep. It's like slightly snowing, so it's pretty slippery. And you're going up a straight up wall that is pretty much all shale rock with a cliff on each on the left side.
Ryan
Who's driving?
Mike
My guide.
Ryan
The guide is. Okay, so they aren't throwing someone.
Mike
Yeah, so no. So they do it every day. Right. So I guess just like to preface how many people go out, there was like seven, six hunters.
CJ
Okay, so there's six guides driving.
Mike
Yeah.
Ryan
Okay.
Mike
Yeah. So like each hunter has a guide. So like on this hunt, my fiance's family has like been doing it every single year. Like, my soon to be father in law is like a huge hunter. Huge hunter. He's, he's been on all these different types of hunts. Bear, sheep, elk. And this is like a hunt that like he started bringing like the family along with. So Greta's done it for the last like five years. So she's always explained it to me, like, yeah, it's, it's pretty gnarly. But when I thought about it, I was like, well, it's. How gnarly could it be?
Ryan
Like, yeah, she hasn't experienced what you have in terrain.
Mike
That's what I thought. Yeah, yeah. And then we, we get into it. I'm like, oh, this Is like, ass puckering. Like, I'm, like, on edge, Right. So we finally get to the top of the ridge, and then we hopped in, like, these. These Toyota trucks that are, like, a lot quieter than a side by side, obviously, so you could, like, sneak around.
Ryan
And they should have our little mini.
Mike
Golf carts up there. Yeah, I told him. So you guys need to go electric. What you do basically, though, is you get on top of the ridge and there's basically just like a spine that goes down, and then there's like, smaller ridges off each spine. So, like, the elk will hang out at the bottom of these spines a lot of times. And there's brush and trees that is like 10ft tall. So your vantage point at the top of the ridge is looking down the valley, and then hopefully you can see them on the other side. Right. So if you're on the left side, you're looking across the valley to the right side to try and have, like, a better vantage point. But a lot of times they move, like, to the bottom of it. So the whole time, you basically get out to this ridge and then you just walk down this ridge, and you're constantly, like, glassing with binoculars across the valley looking for these elk.
Ryan
Are they hard to spot?
Mike
They're so hard to spot because the. You gotta keep in mind, like, the brush is like 10ft tall.
Ryan
Oh.
Mike
A lot of times.
CJ
So, like, color as it.
Mike
Yeah, yeah. So, like, we get out there and like, the first morning, we're basically just like, glassing around. So, like, here's an example video of, like, looking around. You can see all the elk on the side of the hill here. Oh, but that's how far out you are. Oh, okay. Wow. Super zoomed in. But when you're out like this, you don't see any.
Ryan
Are you rocking a new iPhone?
Alondra
No, it's just.
Mike
Yeah, it's really good zoom, though. So, like, all these Elkhart, you know, they might be like 2,000 yards away.
Ryan
Bro, I'd be so bad at that. I can't see the freaking ketchup in the fridge. I'd be so bad.
Mike
So it's really difficult to, like, train your eyes to start looking for it. It makes sense because they blend into the hill. And then a lot of times you just can't see them because the brush is so thick. And so you're glassing around at the top of the ridge looking at, like, 2,000 yards away. And then if you don't see anything, you move to another spot, or you might hike down the hill. Glass, because it's like there's so many different, like valleys and different ridges where it might look like it's like all flat, but then once you get a little bit lower, you realize that it's like all like this. So if you're right here looking at it, you miss them. The guides were so, so dialed of being able to spot them. So we'd like drive at the top of the ridge and. And one of the guides, Kramer, I was like, if there's elk out here, this dude's gonna see him with his naked eye like two miles away. And sure enough, like each time we'd be driving along and he'd be like, there's a bull. I'm like, where? I'm looking through my binoculars and he's like right out there and he's not even looking through his binoculars. I'm like, so like, guys are just so trained to just spot like the colorist spot a tiny bit of movement and then they dial in from there. So I was with Greta's whole family and like all of her siblings and I got to be a part of like the stock and kill for all of their elks. So cool. It started with Greta's like, little sister. We start stocking it. So we like walk probably a mile down the ridge and then you walk down the actual hill to try and get within like 500 yards. Like if you're within 500 yards of the elk, like that's considered like a takeable shot.
Ryan
Damn. It's pretty far, right?
Mike
500 yards is an insane shot.
Ryan
Okay.
Mike
Like you would never shoot a white tailed deer at 500 yards, but out there, like, you're just shooting like heavier guns and they.
CJ
What were you shooting?
Mike
Bigger. 300 win mag. They're bigger targets, obviously, in elk's huge, right? And it's really difficult to get closer.
Ryan
Because they're moving, they're moving.
Mike
If you're upwind from them, they're gonna smell you. They have insane ears. They're gonna hear you coming. So like if you're within 500 yards, they're like, take the shot.
Ryan
Are you guys talking out there? You're literally just silently moving around, just.
Mike
Yeah, you're talking because you gotta keep in mind, like you're a long ways away from them, so you're whispering. But then once you start like stalking them, then you're like whispering, locked in quieter. You're sneaking like getting low and so got to be a part of.
Ryan
Sounds fun.
Mike
Greta's little sister's bull, which was massive. She shoots it drops it and then got to be a part of Greta's bull, which is massive. She drops it. And then Greta's brother's bull was crazy too. So, like, being a part of all these different bulls before, like, it was my time. So, like, the whole time we're like, looking for, like, the biggest bull, basically.
Ryan
Yeah.
Mike
And each time that we found it throughout, like, the five days, Greta's siblings were like the people up to get it. We were kind of group hunting. Like, me, Greta, and her two siblings were all together. And so it was just kind of like one by one, like, who's up? Kind of thing. And it gets down to the second to last day. Like, everyone had pretty much tagged out except for me.
Ryan
Not a good look for your first trip. No Greta shoots a bigger bull than you. You're not. Did you. You didn't miss. Did you or did you not even take a shot?
Mike
Didn't have a shot. Didn't have, like, the opportunity.
Ryan
Got it.
Mike
And so we go out at night, and one of the guides is like, there's a bear at like 500 yards. And I'm like, what?
CJ
Where?
Mike
I'm looking, I'm looking. Can't see it. And he's like, that's a nice bear. I think you should take it. So I had a bear tag. And in case you see a bear, it's pretty. It's. It's a lot cheaper to get a bear tag. It's rare. Like, if you're elk hunting, you're probably not gonna shoot a bear. And so we stock this bear down to like 300 yards to 80. And he's like, all right. I get all set up. He's like, all right, you got it. I'm like, dude, I cannot see this bear. And he's like, all right, it's right here. You see this, this twig that's leaning over to the left? I'm like, yeah. And he's like, okay, you see the 4 inch black triangle next to that twig? I'm like, no. He's like, right here. He takes a picture of it and he circles it. I'm like, dude, no, I can't see it.
CJ
Crazy.
Ryan
What the fuck?
Mike
And he's like, it's right there. And if you shoot that 4 inch screen triangle, you'll hit the bear right in the right shoulder. I was like, all right, I trust you. Like, this guy was so dialed.
CJ
I mean, what's the worst? Well, worst that could happen to you miss. But.
Mike
Yeah, but you don't want to take a shot that you're not.
CJ
That's true.
Ryan
Gonna hit?
Mike
Yeah.
Alondra
You're not gonna kill it?
Mike
Yeah. It's like, inhumane, you know, you don't want to injure any of them. And so I take the shot, and he just goes, I lost him. I'm like, oh, I don't. I never had it.
Ben
I was like.
Mike
I was like, well, that's not good. It's, like, quiet for, like, 20 more seconds. And he's like, I got him.
CJ
Where is he?
Mike
He's like, all right, you see that pine tree that's lit up with, like, the top half of it? And go up three feet, up another, and then to the left two feet, and he's in the brush. I'm like, God damn it. More brush, dude. I can't see him. And I have a. I have a scope video.
Evan
So you did or didn't hit it the first shot?
Mike
We didn't know if I hit it on the first shot because it got up real quick. But I'll show you the video of it getting up real quick and then describe it to you.
Ryan
I can probably show it right up until the point you pull the trigger.
Mike
Yeah, it's really cool.
Ben
They.
Mike
They can put their phones on the spotting scope and then record through the spotting.
Ryan
That's lit.
CJ
Kind of a little cheat code.
Mike
Obviously, if you're not into hunting, it's probably not as interesting, but I know a lot of the listeners are. It was just a whole new experience that I was excited about. So I hope a lot of people there's a bear in there too.
Ryan
Oh, I see him. I see him.
Mike
All right, so there's a bear in here. So we're at 300 yards, and. Yeah, you see that. That twig that's leaning to the right right there? Well, there's a little 4 inch triangle that he was telling me to aim at right there. So I end up taking the shot, and the. The bear, you can see, hops up, looks at his back, and he's like, what the hell was that?
Alondra
That is not what I thought. The bear. I thought the bear was way further.
Mike
To the left, dude. Definitely so hard to see. And you got to keep in mind this is a spotting scope, so it's got way more magnification than your skull.
Ryan
Oh, okay.
Mike
I'm like, yep, we lost him. And then he goes, oh, I think I got him again. I think I got him again.
CJ
How did he spot him?
Mike
He's in there now, so you can see his head moving, right? I'm like, dude, I don't See him still? So he's like, all right, see that pine tree, which is in the bottom right corner? Up three feet and to the left two feet. And you see him moving? And I'm like, no. He's like, just stay on him. Just stay on him. He's moving around. I think he might be hit. And I think he's gonna start moving here. And so I start watching him. I'm like, I think I got him. I think I got him. Because I'm like, to the left of this pine tree right now. And he pops out. This is the first time I see him. And then I take the shot right as he, like, pops into scope.
Ryan
Dropped his ass. Look at that. And now he's. Now he's down.
Mike
Greta's behind me, and she's just watching through her binos, and she goes. His feet. His feet are in the air. He's rolling down the hill. I can see his butt. He's not moving. He's not moving. And then we were like, oh, we got him. So we're, like, sitting there, and we're celebrating. And he was like, all right, let's. Let's go get him. You know, you give it a little bit of time, and my guy goes, you got more bullets? I was like, yeah. He's like, rack one in the chamber. And I was like, okay. And he's like, be ready. I was like, oh, shit. Okay. You don't really have to worry about that with white tail or elk or really any other animals for it to charge you.
Ryan
Oh, shit. But, yeah, the bear would. Yeah, makes sense.
Evan
Are the guides at least have, like, a sidearm or something?
Mike
Usually, yeah, but not. You weren't bear hunting, so. No. And I. Because I asked him that. I was like, you got a gun? And he's like, no, we. We weren't on this mission. I was like, oh, fuck. Okay.
Ryan
All right.
Mike
So I'm like, finger on the. On the safety, ready to, like, I'm coming up hunting for wabits. Like, just ready. I was, like, shitting my. My pants. Honestly, I didn't see him go down. I didn't see kind of the whole.
Ryan
Line of defense between everybody else in that bear.
Mike
Yeah. So I was like, man, I really hope that I got him on that second shot. And we end up, like, popping out of the brush. Like, you can't see barely at all in front of you. And we pop out of the brush, and then he's laying on the ground. I was like, holy. It was like, more of a thrill walking up to it. Than the actual experience of like pulling.
Ryan
The trigger which so what do you do with that bear now?
Mike
If the bear was like super far out there, you'd probably, you know, you quarter it and skin it on the hill because the bear weighed about 300 pounds.
Ryan

Mike
So to pick this bear up and try and get it to a spot that you could get it with a vehicle, call Gavin. It's a long ways.
Evan
He doesn't like manual labor.
Mike
Yeah, yeah, I don't think he'd pick it up. I'll do it if I have to, but we. We got, like, the side by side within probably 300 yards of it.
Ryan
Oh, okay.
Mike
And we gutted it out on the hill and then tied paracord around its paws and then around its teeth. And one guy held up the head. I was on one. One of the paws. Another guy was on the other paw. And we. We ran down the hill, like, as fast as we could because we're pulling it through, like, thick brush the whole time. Right. And so we're just, like, going with momentum of, like, us falling down the hill, the bear, like, sliding a little bit, and then, like, the bear would catch a little bit of momentum and, like, it took one of us out.
Ryan
Holy.
Mike
So one of the guys is riding the bear down the hill as the other two of us are trying to pull him and the bear then, like, through the. Yeah, because, like, this thing's like, once. Once it gets going, you want to keep it going.
Ben
So what do you think you're going to do with the bear now? Like, mount it.
Mike
They are turning it into, like, a rug.
Ryan
Sweet.
Alondra
That'll be really cool.
Mike
The bear, though, it obviously feeds on young elk, so, like, yeah, it was a good. They're stoked to get rid of the bear because it probably saved 20 elk.
Ryan
Wow.
Evan
I thought they just ate honey and.
Mike
Wore red shirts, some of them.
Ben
Do you think that bear was.
Mike
That bear was like, three or four.
Alondra
So can you eat, like, bear meat? Is that a thing?
Mike
You can, but you want to, like, cook it through because they carry some disease carnivores.
Alondra
So are you even, like, getting that meat?
Mike
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Evan
It's really good. It's a little greasy, but you do like, 50, 50 with beef. It's super good.
Mike
Yeah. So the bear was a crazy side quest.
Ryan
No kidding. Yeah. When you sent that picture at, like, what came through to us? I think at like, 2am or something like that.
Mike
Like, you hunt until dark, and it's an hour behind here, and then by the time you're off the mountain and down and you get the bear put away, like, it's late. So, like, every night was super late then.
Ben
What time you getting up?
Mike
Just real early.
Ryan
5.
Ben
Cheese Louise was.
Alondra
You got to get on the. On those ridges before sun comes up.
Mike
Yeah. Next day, I'm still the only one that hasn't shot an elk. And it was like, all hands on deck to get this dude his elk.
Ryan
Really?
Mike
Oh, yeah. They were like, you know, all the different guides for, like, all the different people there. They'd all tagged out. So it was like, all guides, hands on deck.
Ryan
Yeah, I mean, it was. You were the main object, all the.
CJ
Help you could get.
Mike
Yeah. And so we, like, spend the whole morning glassing around, and you're basically just doing the whole. The whole time. You're just like, you're going to a ridge. You're hiking down the ridge, glassing at the other side. If you don't see anything, you go to a different spot. You glass. And, like, that first morning, we had seen this huge bull crest this hill probably a mile and a half over, Right. Because if you're high enough, you can see forever. Especially with these good binoculars, it might look like it's pretty close, but it's really a mile. And we're like, all right, let's go and chase this guy down. Like, this is probably our best bet. We hiked down, like, two miles down this ridge, and the whole thing is downhill. So I'm like, oh, this is gonna suck coming back.
Ryan
You gotta go back up and out.
Mike
And we. We end up, like, getting down to this spot that we. We saw crest the hill, and the dude was just gone. They just vanish. Like, you're like, I know it's here, but you can't find it, which is so frustrating because, again, the brush is so thick, you can just lose them if they lay down. Their antlers just look like twigs. They're just gone.
Evan
Do you use calls at all?
Mike
Yeah, but, like, if they're not in rut, it's not effective to, like, get them up and moving. But they did the. The call. Like, so this bear is sitting there in the brush, and my guide is sitting there doing, like, calls to try and get the bear to, like, pique his interest to stand up and move around, and wasn't doing it. And then he was like, all right, I'm gonna do, like, a dead rabbit call. So he's just like, like the most obnoxious noise you've ever heard in your life. You could still see like the bear, like, move its head. They just looked like a tired dog. And he was like, I can't believe this thing isn't moving right there. So that's why then we resorted to, like, you obviously try and do as much as you can without taking like a blind shot, but you wouldn't do that with an elk. They wouldn't tell you to take a blind shot like that. But yeah. So we end up walking two miles, we don't find this elk. And at this point I'm like, damn, I'm really about to be the only dude who did.
Ryan
Everybody following you around too? Oh, that'd be my worst nightmare.
Mike
So we, we hike out sucks, and then we go back out that night. At this point, it's just like, somebody's over here, somebody's over here, somebody's over there. And like, everyone's trying to find an elk basically, and they're just not moving. They were like, this is like terrible conditions because it's sunny out and it's windy, and they don't move when it's sunny and windy. And it gets down to like the last 30 minutes and we like bomb across the property to like the other side of the property. And one of my guides was like, there's a big five by six over this hill like this. This is your elk. Let's go kill it. And I'm like, at this point, had pretty much just chalked it up, like as an L. Yeah, I'm not getting an elk, but it's all right. It's all good. I just was like, yeah, it's just not gonna happen.
CJ
30 minutes.
Ryan
Yeah.
Mike
And we crest the hill and sure enough, my elk is just at the bottom of this hill at like 350 yards. And they're like, get set up, get set up. When you're taking shots like that, they want to like, they call it build a house. So, like, you sit down, you get like the bipod, the tripod set up, you know, on the front of the gun. And then they just start shoving as many backpacks, like underneath your arms to get you as stable as possible. Like, makes sense if you're not stable taking a four or five hundred yard shot. You know, if you're moving around just this much, it's feet at that, that length or could be yards, you know, that's, that's a long shot. So, like, they want you like as stable as possible, which I'd seen. Like, all the other hunters had shots like that. And then, of course, we get into this position. They're like, you got to shoot from your knees. And I'm like, ah, damn it. So I, like, prop down, get as stable as I can. They're like, all right, you got, like, minutes left. Like, we don't have time to sit there and watch this thing and try and get in a better position because there was legit, like, three minutes of shooting time left.
Ryan
Holy shit.
Mike
They're like, if you feel stable, take the shot and hit him once. He keeps moving. Like, I, like, hit him exactly where you want to hit him. Like, right on the lungs. Hit him. He keeps moving. I hit him again. He keeps moving. Like, these things are so tough.
Ryan
Holy shit.
Mike
Okay, the third shot, I hit him again, and then he goes down.
Ryan
Wow.
Mike
Like, this dude took three shots, and he was still moving from a huge gun. Yeah. And so turn around and, like, the whole crew was with. Like, I was the last one to shoot. So, like, everyone is with at this point, and we're just celebrating, and everyone's just stoked, you know, I'm sure everyone was like, oh, it's probably not going to happen at this point. And there's three minutes left.
Ryan
Oh, that's so sexy.
CJ
On the buzzer.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
Literally a buzzer beater, and it was huge.
Ben
So when do you get the meat?
Ryan
Yeah, when do we get the meat?
Mike
That's a good question. I don't know, because it'll get processed in Colorado and then, like, shipped here, and then, you know, it's obviously with the rest of the crew that. That shot.
Alondra
So let's just take up, like, a full freezer.
Mike
Like a full sprinter van.
CJ
Yeah, like, actually, that's.
Ben
Yeah.
CJ
One elk kind of fills up a whole freezer if you, like, take all of it.
Ben
So are we going to get some of this meat or no?
Mike
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
Ryan
Going to share?
Mike
Yeah, absolutely. Here's mine. Walking through the scope here again. I don't think we can show this, but that's so dope that the guides.
CJ
Pop.
Evan
That was the first pop.
Ben
How old do they think he jumped?
Ryan
Just. Just like, they do.
Mike
And then here's the second.
CJ
You know, like, think that you just have, like, HD footage of your. Your hunt here.
Ben
It's pretty amazing.
Mike
Yeah. So he's looking directly at me. I'm right next to him.
Ryan
Oh, yeah.
Alondra
Oh, that's exactly like big buck hunter.
Ryan
That's what I was gonna say when he jumped. And he kind of hopped up on his legs. I was like, oh, dude, big buck hunter got it right.
Mike
And then. Yeah, the last one.
Ben
How old did you think this guy was?
Mike
5.
Ryan
And how long do I, like, live if they.
Ben
So you shoot him again while he's down here?
Mike
Yeah, they'll live to, like, 9 or 10.
Ryan
Okay. So he's like, yeah, middle. Middle of the road on his life. That's so sick. What a.
Mike
It was awesome experience, dude.
Ben
It was.
Mike
It was so awesome. I was hooked at the end of it, but I got to be a part of, like, all the other. The hunts with, like, all the other siblings. And I was just like, so okay with not shooting one too, Just because it was such an awesome experience.
CJ
We already got that bear. Yeah.
Mike
Yeah. I was. I was like, ah, if I don't get one, it's okay. I definitely don't feel like I got gypsy on the experience. Like, it was. It was so fun. But when you're deer hunting, they call it buck fever. Like when. When the deer comes out and you.
CJ
Get on it, hardly think straight.
Mike
You can't think straight. You can't hardly straight.
Ryan
Your.
Mike
Your heart is, like, pounding like you've never felt it before. And it was like that for elk, except for, like, on steroids, I bet. Especially with the build up of five days of hunting into this moment.
Evan
Yeah.
Mike
Down to the last.
Ryan
First time you've, like, scoped up on one to take a shot, right?
Mike
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, it was a hunt of a lifetime.
Ryan
No kid.
Mike
And like a bowl of a lifetime. Like, so lucky.
Ryan
You're gonna put it up in your living room or something like that.
Mike
I'm gonna have it euro mounted and then I'll put it.
Ryan
What's a euromount?
Mike
Where it's like the skull and then cool the horns.
Ryan
Yeah.
Mike
So not like a shoulder mount is when it's like the. You know, shoulders forward with the whole head.
Evan
You know how they make it, Ryan, Is that.
Ryan
I think I saw it on Dirty Jobs.
Ben
The head, don't they.
Evan
Well, it's like different series of bugs and. But they dunk it, and that's my favorite.
Alondra
It just like dissolves it or they eat it.
Evan
They eat it. Yeah. And then at a certain point. Yeah, you use some chemical and you bleach it.
CJ
It's like the cheapest. But that's not the point of it.
Evan
It's the coolest.
CJ
Yeah, I agree. Like, and doing a whole shoulder mount, like, that's a big thing to have in your living room.
Mike
Well, that's the thing. These Oak are so big, you guys.
CJ
Yeah. I mean, it would be if you had it on this wall. The nose of the elk would be like right here. So, I mean, it should be a lot.
Ben
I think the skull is the coolest, coolest way to do it.
Mike
Yeah, they're just massive animals.
Evan
Cool.
Alondra
So was that your fiance's first elk or she gotten one prior?
Mike
No, she's gotten a couple before and Greta's was just like so much bigger than mine. And mine is still huge massive, and Greta's is bigger.
Ryan
That's so cool.
CJ
Yeah, that is sweet. That thing is huge.
Ryan
How many miles were you hiking on this whole endeavor? A lot.
Mike
I don't have exact stats of it, but, like, did you respond on you all day?
Alondra
Yeah, but going to health, I don't.
Mike
Know how accurate this is.
Evan
I clicked on the health app on my phone once in a middle finger.
Mike
Popped up, so about 20.
Ryan
That's a lot. That's a lot of steps.
CJ
Yeah, well, hard steps with gear on.
Alondra
And everything, especially at elevation. Like, that's dang, dude.
CJ
It makes me want to do that. I. I went on an elk hunt with my dad, like when he had cancer, so it was really hard. But we didn't get an elk and we hunted for three and a half days. And so you like, you know.
Mike
Yeah, yeah.
CJ
How hard it is. But it was funny. Like, he, You. You get the two mule deer tags when you get your elk tag, or at least we did in Montana.
Mike
It was just funny.
CJ
Like at any given moment, they're like, well, could always take the mule deer there. You turn one, always take the mule deer there. Man, they are dumb.
Mike
Mule deer are even dumber.
Ryan
Ryan, you'd be so cooked if I lived in Montana.
Mike
Oh, you'd be so cooked.
Ryan
Actually, I'd need one of those ranch bumpers on the front of my literally rig.
Mike
Yeah, you'd need a full on, like, apocalyptic set up on your truck.
Ryan
I just put like a skewer on it, like for bailing hay, you know, the hay bales. And then I could just grab them and then I could just drive them over to the butcher shop and they could just take care of it.
Evan
They were gonna say the fire pit, but butcher shop, you'd like something to.
Alondra
Protect the sides as well.
Mike
Dude, I was trying to think while I was out there. I was like, man, this would be so fun to get to experience with you guys. I was like, who would enjoy it? Mike, you'd obviously enjoy it. I don't think Ken would. I don't think Ryan would.
Ryan
It's not that good with guns, but.
Mike
I think, cj, you'd actually enjoy it.
Ben
I think I'd like hunting.
Mike
I think you would. I think you would really, really appreciate. Just like it's slowing down. It's not anything like that Crazy. But you get like the thrill of it, the experience of it.
CJ
Great exercise.
Mike
Yeah, it's great exercise, but it's just so fulfilling.
Ben
I've been get into hunting, but growing up I was always playing hockey during like hunting season. So I just never went and got my hunter safety. And then by the time I got done with hockey, then we were kind of filming videos. And you can't really film hunting for YouTube. You can, but it just doesn't. It doesn't work and we can't really do that on our channel. So I've just never prioritized it. I'd like to do it though, but just like, realistically, I'd have to.
Mike
Yeah.
Ben
Take time off and I probably shouldn't start with an elk hunt. I probably should just start with some basic deer hunting around here. Yeah. So we got land.
CJ
Could we hunt out like by our track?
Ben
Yeah, yeah, you could. I mean, there's slugs in this area.
CJ
I think it is. I don't know area.
Mike
Is it?
CJ
I'm not positive.
Evan
I don't know. But often when you are in all these fields where it could travel a.
Ryan
Long way, what's the highest you can sit? Can you sit up in the Hummer or is that too tall?
Ben
No, I think they took.
Evan
There used to be like a 16 foot limit, I think like years ago. But as far as I know now there isn't at least where I am. But we don't have fields either. I know all the fields. Things are different.
Mike
Yeah, there might be.
Ben
So it's out really good. Like sought after.
Mike
Yeah, it's good. Yeah, it's good.
Ben
That's cool.
Mike
Yeah, we'll. We'll get a bunch and then you can, you know, obviously mix it with whatever different stuff.
Alondra
Yeah, Chef Jen to chef something up with it.
Evan
You got to ever make us some bear spaghetti.
Mike
Oh, yeah, that'd be good.
Evan
No, it is.
Mike
They said that too.
Ryan
Bear spaghetti.
Evan
Well, the meat's just like a little bit like oily or greasy, whatever you want to say. But when you use it in like other recipes, it's super good. Like if you just had like a patty of bear, you might be like, ah, it's maybe not the greatest, but.
Ben
Jen would be all about that. She like, that's the thing with hunting is Then you know where you got your meat source from. It didn't go to, you know, the store. It didn't. It wasn't like, unless, you know, you.
Evan
Bring your deer and to have processed with, like, 900 other deer, and you.
Mike
Always got to be worried that Joe's from.
Evan
I've always been kind of scared of doing that. Like, we've never.
Ryan
Oh, that. That's how it works.
Ben
No. Well, they.
Evan
They say they don't, but I was checking after opening week of deer season.
Mike
And the bleachers got 150 laying there.
Evan
Yeah. And they just go, well, 40.
Mike
50.
Evan
Yeah. 100 pounds of meat to them.
CJ
Yeah.
Evan
You never.
Ryan
Yeah. No, for sure.
Mike
Truly. No. Yeah.
CJ
That's what always bugged me about my family being cheap growing up is that we did most of the meat processing ourselves.
Ben
So, like, what's a lot of work.
Evan
Leaving the pig intestines on the meat grinder and have the popping. Oh, it's crazy.
CJ
You have the pe.
Ben
Of.
CJ
Of shooting the deer, and then, you.
Mike
Know, like, that's so fun.
CJ
And then gutting it, whatever. And then you're, like, skinning it. You're still excited. And then you're just cutting the meat off. And I'm like, this sucks. Why do we have to do this?
Mike
I know. Yeah. This is.
CJ
We were too cheap.
Mike
My dad. My dad still. I think he enjoys doing it. Yeah. And I'm like, this is not fun.
CJ
And we'd bring a little.
Mike
It's usually freezing out, too. And you're just trying not to cut yourself, like, the whole time.
CJ
And they usually do.
Ben
They.
CJ
They just enjoy it. Because then my dad got a dehydrator, and then I was like, it doesn't end.
Evan
Jerky's a lot of work.
CJ
Jerky. So much work. And it reminds me of frickin. Sydney's been cooking sourdough friends like jerky. They're like, give me some of that jerky. Giving away the jerky is like.
Ryan
You're like, I work hard on that.
Mike
Yeah, obviously. You better appreciate this.
CJ
Yeah, dude. Jerky is the best.
Evan
My dad goes crazy with the jerky.
CJ
Yeah.
Evan
He, like, has to watch it, like, some. You kind of could just put it in the dehydrator for 10 hours, but he's in there checking. Oop. This shelf comes off.
CJ
Yeah.
Evan
It's a whole process.
Mike
I think that you would really enjoy bow hunting, cj. I think you'd enjoy just shooting a bow because it's similar to golf, where it's hard to get good at. And then once you get good at it. It's satisfying.
Ryan

Ben
Yeah, I've thought about buying a bow just to shoot around in, like my yard just for, like, when I'm bored. But now I'm golfing, so it's like, how much time do I got?
Ryan
CJ's like Robin Hood out there, just sniping squirrels.
Mike
Stuff from.
Ben
Yeah, we've done.
Mike
We've done some stuff on the channel.
CJ
I follow. I forget his name. I follow some dude on Instagram that does just strictly archery trick shots.
Mike
Oh, really?
CJ
Like, yeah. I mean, he can, like, shoot clay pigeons freaking behind his back. Shoot like, you know, a ring. Someone throws a ring up and he, like, shoots the ring into the target.
Ben
I could shoot like an apple off Ken's head or something.
Ryan
Yeah.
Alondra
Maybe give you a few years of training before we.
Ben
Let's go try it after this.
Ryan
Just kidding.
Ben
Yeah, Ryan and I, we went to Nashville.
Ryan
Oh, yeah.
Ben
Nashville. For a wedding.
Ryan
The opposite of a relaxing weekend in the mountains.
CJ
It looked hectic.
Evan
You guys break it in for me?
Ben
Oh, yeah. You're going this weekend, Ev.
Alondra
Yep.
Mike
Gave them like a little warning.
Evan
Technically, Monday.
CJ
Each.
Mike
Each spot.
Ben
I'm curious what you're gonna think of Nashville, Evan. I don't want to spoil it, though. I don't want to.
Evan
I feel like I pretty much know what I'm getting into.
Ben
Do you?
Alondra
I think you're gonna think Nashville is a C word.
Evan
Cheeto.
Mike
You can't say Cheeto anymore.
Alondra
No, we can.
Ben
I think you're going to think it's pretty Cheeto. I hope you have fun.
Mike
It's like everything that you hate.
Evan
I. I know.
Ben
Yeah, I know you guys need to.
Evan
Get back to yours, but either way, it's for my girlfriend's birthday. She really wants to go. She's stoked about it. I'm stoked to like go have a good time with her.
Mike
It's.
Ben
Yeah, it's.
Evan
And I've never been there, so everything.
Mike
That you love and the only thing to do there is your favorite activity.
Ben
Drinking.
Mike
So it's like it. It's this balance where I think you're going to be very conflicted because you're going to be like, I should be having the time of my life, but.
CJ
My brain hurts because of all the country music.
Mike
But.
Ben
And it's.
Mike
But everything I stand for hating is what represents this entire experience, which is. Which is being country. Like the country music. And every single bar that you go into is 17 floors of country music.
Ben
Yeah, they have like a bunch of artists that.
Evan
You guys are stressed me out cuz I've heard everyone knows.
Mike
I kind of like.
Evan
No, I mean, there's other stuff. It's few and far between, isn't it?
Ben
If you're on Broadway, really anywhere, there's always some artists singing a cover of a big song. But like everywhere it's just. And it's really loud. They always have it cranked.
Evan
That's what I've heard some people complain that it's almost too loud. If you just want to.
Ben
Like, you can't even talk loud.
CJ
And then I saw you guys made it up to some rooftop and they're just blowing the speakers with edm, which I don't know if you'll love.
Ryan
Yeah, I don't know if you'll love the EDM either, but that kind of seems to be the two directions you either get country or country remix into. Edm.
Ben
It's really packed too. Like, I'm in the same boat as you. Like Alex, she loves Nashville. But when I was there, I was thinking to myself, like, the only thing to do here is drink. All the bars are literally the same. They're jam packed. Shoulder, shoulder playing country music. And I really don't know anyone here. So it's like, why are we just sitting here just fucking crammed in, screaming.
Ryan
At each other, like, can't even talk of us. Went out and we're like, what are we doing standing in this crowded bar? Where neither of us can even talk to each other because it's so loud.
Ben
You're just standing around. You have to wait so long for a drink. I mean, you know, I'm sure you.
Evan
Can get it so stressed out, you.
Ben
Find a spot that's not. But, like, also, it was fun. Like, Nashville is a nice place. Like, it's got nice weather, the city safe.
Ryan
You're a better yapper than us.
Ben
Really, really good food. Really good food. I think if you just. If you're really drunk, you'll have fun.
Evan
But I'd like to try my run out of mechanical bull. There's got to be a few of those.
Mike
Oh, yeah, there is. But you're going to have to stand in line behind a bunch of girls on bachelorette parties.
Ben
Every corner. The one thing. The one thing I'll say is people compare it to Vegas. They're like, oh, it's just like Las Vegas. It's not like, well, yeah, there's no gambling. Yeah. Las Vegas. There seems to be more activities to do, in my opinion.
Mike
There's a million things you could go to Vegas and not drink and still have an awesome time. You can't do that in Nashville.
Ben
The only thing you can really do in Nashville is go to a bar or I guess you can go to a nice restaurant. There is nice restaurants, so I will say that. And we went to a really good one. Ryan, myself, and our two women who.
Mike
Shall not be named.
Ben
But I just wasn't going to go through all the names. But anyway, supposedly that was like the nicest. Is that one of the nicest restaurants?
Ryan
I guess it was really hard to get into. Alondra made the reservation I you not six weeks ago when we decided we were going to the wedding.
Evan
Might be sol, huh?
Mike
Yeah.
Ryan
And we. The only reservation that we could get was at like 9:15pm what was it?
Mike
Steakhouse or.
Ryan
Yeah, apparently Travis and Taylor were there the weekend before.
Ben
Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Kane Brown, and then all of their spouses, obviously Taylor Swift.
Ryan
And.
Ben
But get this. So we're pulling up. We walk to the place, and we're walking up. Yeah, we're walking up and I see blue Ferrari that's wrapped kind of Cheeto wrap. I'm not going to lie. But it was wrapped. But I was like, damn sick. That's a sick Ferrari. And then I see an R8 pulling up and it was Whistling's old filmer Keller. And then I see a Huracan Performani backing in and it's a convertible. I look in It's Kane Brown and one of his boys.
Mike
Oh, he's got a. He's got a sick hurricane and then.
Ben
It'S matte black, and then there's a matte black SVJ backing in, and then there's a yellow Lamborghini Urus back in. I'm like, holy, these are some sick ass cars. Yeah, they literally, like, hop out and go walking in to eat at the same place that we were going to. But, yeah, it was kind of cool having Kane Brown whip up in front of us.
Mike
Yeah. Is there a lot of cool cars there?
Ben
A lot of G wagons, dude. There's a ton of G wagons.
Mike
I've heard that. I've heard that. It's like the. Yeah. The vehicle of choice for Nashville. There's a ton of Jeep for Nashville.
Ben
Moms, but those were easily the coolest cars we've seen. And I will say I'm not a big fan of yellow cars. That yellow Urus was sick. If I was gonna get a Urus, I'll get a yellow one. Really? It was cr. It just.
Mike
Was it wide body, Dude.
Ben
No, it just was sick, dude.
Mike
It was just sick.
Ben
I don't know. I normally wouldn't think that, but I.
Evan
Could see you ripping even a yellow Huracan.
Ben
I'd love a yellow Huracan.
Evan
A bunch of carbon fiber all over it.
Ryan
Yeah. Be pretty sick.
Alondra
I think the Lambo yellow is just right for.
Ryan
As opposed to the Corvette. Yeah, but it was fun because I.
Ben
Was like, yeah, it was fun.
Ryan
We. We walked or. Well, I guess. Yeah, the whole weekend was fun. C.J. and I had a good time. But. But like, going. Walking into that restaurant and, like, seeing all those cars out front, I was like, damn, dude, I wish we had a cool place. Like, obviously we have zorbs. That's the joke. You pull up.
Evan
Get any better than that?
Ryan
Imagine getting to rip down Broadway, shooting flames out of your car. And then you pull up curbside to the restaurant. They're all sitting out in front. And then you eat dinner at a really sick restaurant. And then you get to hop in them and go home. Like, it actually seems like a fun drive. You hit some sweet Nashville roads as opposed to cormorant that's covered in P rock, and you just avoid deer on the way home. And then, you know, that's it.
Mike
That SJ is so sweet, dude.
CJ
I think about that, like, even when we were in. Not even crazy at all, but when we were in Appleton, it was, like, so fun. We, like, got to drive down. Yeah, we all had our cars. I'm like, dude, all rolling restaurants.
Mike
It's such a different vibe. That would make owning a cool car way more fun. Like, the thing about owning a cool car in cormorant, you're driving the same roads that are super lame. There's p rock shit everywhere. And then. Yeah, half the time it's raining, and you don't have anywhere to go.
Ben
Yeah, it's kind of a lot, too. Like, in front of, like, most people around here are just driving normal rigs, and you're just whipping up and, like, it's kind of.
Mike
It's pretty douchey.
Ben
It's just kind of like you're doing too much. But also, if you love cars, what else are you gonna do?
Mike
Which is why we do. Exactly. There's no other reason for us to have.
Ben
Driving them to flex.
Mike
Yeah, no one really sees that fun.
Ben
No one really sees them. Like, if you lived in a big city, a lot of people would be seeing you. Like, if we were buying it to flex, like, you know, like, we're just ripping them around. Like, there's, like, 10 people here that see them. But no, I will say I had more fun this Nashville trip than last one. It was just, like. I don't know. It was just fun. Maybe it's because we were doing less standing around the bar. Like, Alex and I and Ryan and Alondra, like, we would, like, go and do different things, and I don't know, it was more things to do than just like, literally stand at the bar the whole time. We only did that probably.
Evan
I got asked, then what did you do? Because, like, I swear, three minutes ago, you just said there's nothing to do but go stand in an overly loud nothing.
Ben
So I'll tell you what we did. Nothing. Like, Alex went. Alex.
Mike
Evan. Evan got his excitement back up. Oh, so there is a chance. And then he hears that.
Ben
He's like, we sat by the pool for two days, like, for pretty much the majority of the day, and it was hot. We went out to eat. Alex went shopping, and I trailed behind her. I worked out every day in the morning, and then we went to a wedding. And then we also went to a wedding party thing the night before. Bachelor party or not. The groom's dinner.
Mike
So, like, you guys got invited to the groom's dinner?
Ben
No, we weren't invited to the groom's dinner.
Mike
Oh, you just went.
Ben
We showed up at the end.
Ryan
There was an after party.
Mike
Okay, okay.
Ben
I got.
Ryan
There was an after party.
Mike
I was gonna say, damn.
Ben
Anyone was invited up yeah, but no, it was fun. It was a great wedding. It was a fun time.
Ryan
But probably the most legendary part was Alondra and I were just kind of bar hopping on the last night because we're like, fuck it, we're here. You know, let's just go out for a little bit after the wedding and we'll maybe meet up with the wedding party when they're done with the reception. Anyway, we walk into totally random bar. Never been into it before. And I look to my left, and there is one of our friends that lives around here, Chad Chattahoochee, and he's leading the swag surfing dance to the whole. A whole packed bar. Like, one of our parts were not.
Mike
Even the slightest clue what the hell.
CJ
The swag.
Evan
The one we ran into in Key West?
Ryan
No, No, I don't think so.
CJ
He.
Evan
He's like, there was someone seeing karaoke and.
CJ
Yeah, that was Jalen.
Ryan
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Evan
Either way, running into people that we know in random places.
Mike
Can you. Can you describe this swag surf? Because I think I know what you're talking. I've heard you say this multiple times.
Ben
Cities, they're like, super popular. They're the football team. They're always doing swag surf.
Ryan
I don't know. It's like a dance. You get a little wider stance and you go like this, and then the whole crowd does it back to you. And then there's a. A rap song that we can't play due to copyright reasons.
CJ
Yeah, yeah, okay.
Ryan
But anyway, he's just doing that. He's like running the entire crowd with karaoke, and I was like, holy. With the mic up.
Mike
Did he have, like, a residency on this karaoke?
Ryan
I don't know. It seemed like he was kind of the man.
Mike
So I walked another one after swag surf.
Ryan
He did? Yeah.
Mike
Oh, okay. All right. So he was the man.
Ryan
He was.
Mike
He wasn't just up, just hitting one song and it was just happened to be. No, the time that you walked in, like, he was up there doing his. His thing.
Ryan
Yeah, he was. He had a.
Mike
He's a real. He's a realtor. He's not a. He's not doing music.
Ryan
Exactly.
Mike
Yeah, you got to try what I.
CJ
Did when I went to Nashville. You just gotta find some musician buddies and then go party in their basement while they jam.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
Mike had a completely different Nashville.
CJ
I'm not saying that that is actually what you should do, but it was. It was one of my trips. There was before I was 21 with Jake and Cody. But, like, that actually is fun. There's so many musicians. It'd be like running into Rick Duff and then be like, yeah, come back to the basement with us. Smoke cigarettes and.
Mike
And jam.
Evan
That's why I was just gonna describe it like you took the words. Yeah, let's go smoke some cigarettes and jam out.
Ben
So one of the things that Ryan and I did actually was Ryan got me on online gambling.
Evan
So I don't do that in Tennessee.
Ben
No, you can't. No, can't. We had to. We had to vpn.
Alondra
Sports betting is legal there. I don't think they have any casinos, though.
Mike
No.
Ben
Anyways, we're doing this online casino just to keep it short. Ryan's a Gavin playing this. I'm up 1500 bucks.
Mike
Well, I said, he sends us a screenshot and goes, pretty sure I just found an infinite money hack.
Ryan
Oh, yeah, infinite money glitch, dude. Literally, in the 11 second screen recording, I made $1200. It was.
Mike
I did see that, Ryan. I didn't have a single lick of FOMO of you guys being in Nashville the entire time. I was watching your stories and I was. I was honestly watching, like, damn, I'm glad I'm not there because it's just not. I don't know. I just didn't have that much fun last time we went. And then I saw that you sending a screenshot of you gambling, and I was like, oh, my God, this is not good. I need to put my phone down before I download this app. I use Ryan's promo code and I. And I start losing my future children's.
Evan
College education, taking everything I have not to gamble on my phone.
Mike
I was Ryan. This is so bad for me to see. It is bad.
Ben
You really shouldn't have. Because it turned me into a different human being. So I start playing this. I only gambled for 24 hours on my phone straight. I mean, it'd be like we had to get up at like 430 on Sunday morning to go to the airport. Blackjack, waiting for Alex to walk out the room. Anyways, I ran $100 up to 7,000 $6,900 profit.
Ryan
And then.
Ben
And then. I'm such a sicko. I lost all 7,000. Yes.
Mike
And.
Ben
And. And I put $1,000 back in and lost two.
Mike
That's exactly what I would do. Yeah.
Ben
No, it was so bad. It was so bad.
Evan
How bad of a losing heater?
Ben
Well, I started putting a lot of money.
Evan
I.
Ben
So, like, you know, progressive. I was very slowly working my way up and Down. And I would. Throughout the day of travel, I was up and I was. I would be at like 6,000. I'd maybe go to 4 and then I'd get back at 6. Well, I was, you know, pretty big hands. But yeah, it's so easy when it's a fake number. My stomach and disgusted with myself to do that. And that's when I realized I'm like, I can't have this. And of course, my immediate thought is, why don't I just put two grand in and throw it in on one hand and I could get back up. And. And the thing is, what happens when you lose that? And what happens is. And like, realistically, eventually you should hit. But also, it's an online casino. You can't trust these things. Like, it's not like they got the cards right in front of you. It was so easy to play. So addicting. And you could literally play it like this. So quick. Like, we're standing in line at Chipotle, I start fucking playing, dude. I was playing so everywhere. It was so bad. But, you know, at the end of the day, I lost a thousand bucks. Whatever. I could have had 7k up. The thing is, is when do you stop? And I should have just stopped because I was.
Ryan
700X is a pretty good 70x. My 70.
Ben
That's insane. Like, I've never had such a run. And. And ultimately, I didn't lose it all in one streak. You know, it was like I was kind of up and down, up and down.
Mike
And. Yeah, you just paid a thousand bucks for entertainment for the weekend.
Ben
I was like, I don't know why.
CJ
But, like, getting seven GS off of a thousand is, like, amazing. Getting seven GS off of a. I.
Ben
Can'T believe I just.
CJ
What?
Ben
Why did. That's.
Mike
That's. That's a crazy come up.
Ben
I didn't even know what happened. I told myself, if it gets below 5, I gotta walk.
CJ
Yeah.
Ben
And I just kept going.
Mike
Oh, let's see what happened. You're a sicko.
Evan
I didn't mean to sound excited that you, like, lost that. I was just excited to know that you did the exact same thing that I would.
Ben
You should not like. I'm like, oh, my God, we are.
Alondra
Wait.
Ben
And it's so easy to just load up. Gambling is probably the quickest way to lose a. Any kind of wealth you have. Like, straight up.
Mike
Holy cj.
Ben
I mean, I love gambling.
Mike
I had no idea.
Ben
I'm so disappointed in myself for doing that. I'm so disappointed myself because it's like, what the fuck, dude?
Alondra
What?
Ben
Like, what. What are you doing? And you just lose self control. I can see why they have these sites banned, and I think they should stay banned.
Evan
Oh, well, let's just relax now.
Ben
I think they should stay banned. Dude, it was so bad and, like, it was just not good.
Mike
You actually do have a bit of self control.
Ben
Oh, yeah, I've. Great.
Mike
Like, you have.
Evan
Well, not at the casino. I've seen him play blackjack.
Mike
So, Yeah, I guess that is the thing. Like, you've. You've been able to quit drinking, you've been able to eat clean. You've been able to have discipline to work out. You still lost all of that money in a matter of an hour, right? So think about the people that don't have that left side of their brain that says, maybe slow it down a little bit. Like my buddy sitting up behind this table over here.
Ben
I lost that 7k in probably 10 minutes.
Ryan
Oh, yeah.
Ben
Oh, no, I was 100 hand.
Evan
200, 400.
Ben
No, I was doing like 250 hand average. But.
Evan
But you had to get up to like.
Ben
Yeah, I think I had a thousand or maybe a 1500 hand. I lost maybe two. Anyway. No, dude, it was in between halftime of a football game. Because of course I. I sit there and I play prize picks. Yeah, you got To Know and DraftKings. I'm sitting there and I was like, I'm gonna do this, you know?
Alondra
So it was 15 minutes.
Ben
Like, I lost it so quick. So quick. It was disgusting. I didn't know what the fuck happened.
Mike
I mean, that's like the YouTuber togi. I just watched his video last week where he won $5.5 million with Steve will do it. And then I was watching his Snap story yesterday, and he said, I am beyond broke. I have these mortgages. I have employees and expenses that add up to like 180 grand a month, and I don't have a single dollar to my name. I was like, dude, Steve. Oh, yeah. Did he lose? He does say, what's it, $2 million in the last week.
CJ
He did it, some of it on purpose, which is also, I think, twice as insane. He's like, I got to get back to broke so I can start up scheme land and then start making money.
Evan
How do you lose on purpose?
Mike
He gave his money away. Like, gave it all away.
CJ
So 80,000 to the IRS, but instead he just gave cars, watches, and money away so that he could.
Ben
Yeah, I mean, that was one thing I thought about too, is I was like, dude, Steve is like in the hole. Steve will do. It's in like the whole. Pretty bad because you see on his thing, like how he owes the casino a million, he owes this guy a hundred thousand because they're always taking loans. So I'm like, dude, it's just like, what are you really doing? Like, it's, it's. And the thing is, is those guys get paid to refer you to use those sites. So, like, the fact that they're blowing through that as well is crazy. But Ryan, you can pull up how much I wagered because I used Ryan's referral code.
Ryan
Yeah. Thank you.
Ben
I want you guys to see this.
Ryan
I do want to say that 100 grand you earned me 16.74. Should I say the total amount wagered?
Ben
Say the total amount wagered because if.
Ryan
You had per se, done this in Vegas, the hotels would be calling you, saying, we're going to put you on a plane and you come back this weekend. Yeah. Total wagered $83,722.
Ben
I did that in 24 hours.
CJ
No.
Ryan
Yeah, No, I kept checking it. I quit gambling and I just kept checking it because I kept watching it just jump astronomically.
Mike
Cj, what did you do?
Ben
But I only lost a thousand. But Yeah, I worked 100 up to seven. But, you know, it changes as it fluctuates. So, like, it's not saying I spent 86, but like, you know, if I did a 500 hand and I lost that and then I did a thousand dollar hand, I won that, that right there would be 1500.
Evan
That's why I'm terrified to look at my little players card at the casino. So, you know, you might only burn 500, but through the ups and downs, you might have done $20,000 through the slot machine in a night. So to lose 500.
Mike
Did you delete the app?
Ben
It's not app, but no. I got it off my phone. I'm just over it. I'm over it.
Evan
I borrow it.
Ben
Although I keep thinking to myself, I'm like, I could just do one big hand swing and possibly.
CJ
So that's what obviously like you just said, like, a lot of them might not be real. I am entertained by some of the ones I see on Instagram where they do these huge ones. They're like, I'm going to come in, I'm going to play three hands, and if I win, whatever, I'm going to walk out with this car. I don't know if that's real or not, but if it is, it's like Kind of cool.
Mike
You should do it right now.
Ryan
You should.
Ben
I think it's. I don't think we could do it.
CJ
And also kind of back to what you said about, like, Steve being super down.
Alondra
Let's do it at once when the pod's over.
Ben
The thing is, is just one of those things, like, when do you stop? I think, oh, yeah, tomorrow. This is where I was going with this, Evan. So then I started thinking about you because I'm like, dude, this guy spends more time gambling or in a casino than anyone. And it's just crazy how quickly you can delete money and really have nothing to show for it. So I started thinking my stock market, like my brokerage account, I check that 50 times a day, and sometimes it's okay, whatever, maybe.
Mike
Sorry, I'm just like that.
Ben
I check it a time, check it a time on sometimes up a lot, and other times it's down a lot. It's constantly changing. And that is almost the same thing as gambling because you're. You're up, you're down. But ultimately, as long as you're buying tried and true staple stocks, you're going to win in the long run. But I think you should just start, like, even if it's like a portion of your gambling fund, put it into this. Like, I'll. I'll even help you tell you. Just like some basic stocks. Amazon, Google, Tesla, Netflix, whatever. Just these basic stocks and you'll still get the same thrill. Kinda. It's much tamer of a thrill, but it goes up and it goes down.
Evan
Straight to the cash house.
Ben
Yeah, I'm just kidding. But you got to keep it. You got to keep it.
Evan
No, no, I know. It actually is a good idea.
Ben
It is.
Evan
And you got to get your jollies from that. Yeah, you do.
Ben
And I, I do get the jollies from it. It's not close to gambling on your phone. Thousands of dollars is insane. That's rush.
Evan
And that's what's crazy too, is like, even if I go to the casino by my house, like, for blackjack, it's like, table max is like 100 bucks.
Ben
Just bad, though, because then you can't catch it back up.
Mike
Well, yeah, that's bad.
Ben
You don't want table Max or.
Mike
Yeah, but if you're gambling $5 a hand, it takes a little bit to.
Evan
Get to 100, if anyone. That's just like, oh, it's for entertainment. It's kind of bullshit because you do want to go win, but you can go play blackjack for five to twenty Dollars a hand with the. A couple hundred bucks and have some beers with your friends. And it's. That's not quite as devastating. And then even with like the slot machines, it's not like Vegas with the high limit rooms where you can be spinning like hundreds of dollars a spin on a slot machine. Like, max spins like 10 bucks. So I feel like how impulsive I am. It's nice to have those slight restraints, guard rails, those guardrails. Yeah. But you get on the phone, I mean, the sky's the limit on that.
Ben
Literally. I don't think there is a max.
Evan
And I think I would do exactly what you said. Like, well, you lose the 100. Now it's 2, then the 2 is a 4, now the 4 is an 8. Before you know it, you're selling the farm to try to break even.
Ben
Yeah, it's bad deal.
Mike
God, you guys are degenerate.
Alondra
I think like with the stocks though, like, I always get that little bit of dopamine hit, like right as market open.
Mike
Yeah, it feels good.
Ben
It's so fun, even.
Mike
Evan, you do know that you have a 401k, right?
Evan
Yes, I signed a paper.
CJ
Let me try to pull that.
Mike
No, we have.
Evan
I can put more money into that. Can I?
Mike
Yeah, but you do have investments.
Ben
401K. Just do the stocks.
Mike
But I was gonna say, I mean, he has invested. Yeah, you already have enough forced upon him.
Ben
Yeah, we.
Mike
For your own good.
Ben
Yeah, we've. We actually made you have to do that.
Evan
No, I got the option. I did, Max.
Mike
You did. You did have the option. You can't be forced into it. As much as we asked. As much as we asked the, you know, the guys that set it up for our company, we said, can you make this mandatory for certain employees? And they were like, well, no. Can we tell them it is.
Ben
But seriously, last thing I'll say, you would get some of that dopamine hit from just checking your stocks. You'll go up, you'll go down. It's kind of just like gambling, except you'll more than likely win in the long run.
Evan
It was like a year ago. Ryan kind of helped me get going on Robin Hood, I think.
Ryan
Yeah.
Evan
Just asked a few extra too many questions. I didn't have access to the information. I never got it.
CJ
Damn it.
Evan
I don't know if it was. They probably need some tax number, some Robin Hood's. Like, they needed one thing I didn't have.
Alondra
So Robin Hood is like the most gamified version of buying stocks you can possibly.
Ryan
Yeah, I Think when you press buy, it like gives little sparkles. Oh, God. Like.
Evan
And I was ready for the experience. I actually remember when I was setting up this account, I was sitting in a hot tub, drinking a beer, being like, I'm getting into the stock market.
Mike
Right. I'm going to start investing.
Evan
Seriously.
Ben
And then.
Ryan
Yeah, that makes me bummed we didn't do it. Dude. My shit's up like 60% because stock just keep going up because I just have a couple. Stock never go down on Venmo.
Evan
There's like you have like six options to buy shitty crypto.
Ryan
Like, oh yeah.
Evan
In Venmo. So I've done that and I'm like doubled my money on that stuff. But yeah, if you think that maybe.
Mike
The stock market's a little too safe and you want to be more edgy with your.
Evan
I do like edging.
Mike
Yeah, exactly. I think you could get into crypto and have that same feeling.
CJ
There you go.
Mike
And I honestly, I think it'd be as good of an investment.
Alondra
Fun thing about market's open 24 hours a day.
CJ
That is nice.
Ryan
So you can do it late at night. One time Ben was trading penny stock or penny cryptos and paid for his dinner.
Mike
Yeah.
Alondra
Ben and I were. We were trading fun meme stocks. Shitcoins.
Mike
Yeah.
Alondra
And we bought dinner that night.
Mike
We did.
CJ
I'm glad coins. I'm glad stocks. CJ brought it up at. Because I was going to say too. Ryan just said the stocks always go up. They do. I know a lot of you know this, but like you're gonna lose gambling in the long run. You're going to lose.
Ben
Yeah. No one's ever beat. Yeah.
CJ
I'm talking like Steve to C.J. to me. You're going to lose. And the stock market you're not.
Ben
If you're decent stocks.
CJ
I'm saying over time.
Mike
And that's why you should sign up for money Mike's financial advising.
CJ
I would never. I'm not a lying sack of shit like Tai Lopez.
Mike
Tai Lopez is not a financial advisor.
CJ
But yeah, he's something.
Ryan
He's got Lamborghinis and books in his garage.
Mike
Who the hell listen to Tai Lopez in the first place is my question. Fucking Radio Shack was like, this guy is going to be our saving grace if you don't know it. Tai Lopez. I got Lamborghini in my garage from reading all these knowledge. That guy. Knowledge guy. He just got hit with like 112 million dollar Ponzi scheme. Call it for telling all these businesses that were failing that all right. I'm going to take you from brick and mortar to online presence, turn your business around, and then we'll obviously all reap the benefits. Sold it to a bunch of different investors.
Ryan
Like Radio Shack.
Evan
That's why Radio Shack doesn't exist anymore.
Mike
Radio Shack, it wasn't a. Has Radio Shack existed in. When's the last time it existed?
Evan
I don't know.
CJ
Five years.
Mike
He did it with a couple of different companies. Maybe pull it up.
CJ
But he was basically. Basically, you know, selling a class like to other. To people as well.
Mike
Yeah, but this. This thing was like selling it to investors. And then Robin Pete to pay Paul kind of deal, which is the classic pond.
CJ
You don't want to get mixed up with Pete or Paul.
Evan
Maybe we should start a Ponzi Ski.
Mike
What do you think we'd do?
Evan
Cheeto coin? Nope, that's just the coin.
Mike
So how could we. The other day actually, I was sitting in my sauna with shred aids.
Ben
That really sweaty song. If that guy sweats in normal life, what's he look like in a sauna? Does he melt?
CJ
Does he actually spraying out of him?
Mike
It was like a sprinkler system.
CJ
Yeah, it was.
Mike
It was crazy.
Ryan
Drinks.
Mike
It was crazy. But anyway, I don't know how we got on the topic of it, but he was like, what do you think the best investment is right now? And I was like, honestly, everyone should buy bitcoin. And he was like, why? What's up with bitcoin? And I was like, do you know anything about crypto or bitcoin? And he was like, no, not at all. And so then I proceeded to.
CJ
Dude's an anomaly.
Ben
Of course. You think bitcoin was around the 80s.
Mike
No, it was not. It was not. And it was not a concern to him. But I then went down the rabbit hole of trying to get shred aids to and start investing his money into different things like crypto or even stocks. I was like, I think you should buy some stocks too. He was like, okay. I was like, do you have any money anywhere else besides for three weeks? He was like, no, why would I do that? I was like, okay. Because it was. It was shortly after he was telling me how up he is on his three wheeler.
Ryan
Oh, yeah, that's right. I'm glad that you brought up saying the bitcoin thing because I was on the phone with our insurance agent. He actually lives in Texas. And he said, yeah, Ben changed my life a few years ago because you said it's more of a risk to not own bitcoin. And he said, you know what? And he went, downloaded the app, started investing, has obviously done very well over the last few years, and then now is actually working on a few different projects within cryptocurrency now. So he's.
Mike
That's awesome.
Ryan
He said that. He was like, I got to give Ben credit. Like, you guys affected his life in a positive way.
CJ
That's dope.
Mike
That is awesome.
Ryan
Shout out to him. He's awesome. I won't name drop him, but.
CJ
And also, not to beat a dead horse here, but I said it from the start. I think NFTs are truly the dumbest thing ever made. I like the idea, but there's like that one 69 million dollar NFT that's not worth 10k. That's all I'll say on that. That is all I'll say on that.
Mike
Evan gets into playing nft.
Evan
One of the first podcasts I was on.
Ryan
Yeah.
Evan
With you guys.
CJ
You guys went on and on and.
Evan
About just explaining them to me and.
Ryan
I can imagine you gave no less than 1. Yeah, you should have listened.
Evan
No, it's a good thing I didn't.
Ryan
It was NFTs.
Evan
Yeah, NFTs. And I don't think you guys were recommending them. I think you just. I think you might have just asked me what my stance was and at that point.
Alondra
So, Evan, when does your. Your Cheeto crypto project?
CJ
I do like the sound of a Cheeto.
Mike
That's where this was going. Shred AIDS goes. You can just make a digital currency and. And it's all kind of based off of hype. Why don't we make a meme coin? And I was just like, you stop right there. Stop right there.
CJ
You're not staying.
Mike
We are not doing that.
Ryan
We're way too late in the game.
Mike
Yeah.
Ryan
Be that dumb.
Mike
Shred coin. What?
Ben
Yeah, Shred Coin. Also, how many people ripped off their followers doing that? We're not doing it. And we actually had the opportunity to with like a few different. Where they're like, we'll do this. This coin or we'll do this. And. And we're just like, we ain't doing that. Like how? They're like, oh, it's going to be worth more. We're like, how is this going to be worth more someday? There's no way. Like, we're not doing that. And we didn't. And now there's creators that have. I think they've came down on for that and they've gotten in trouble.
Mike
Ha ha.
Ben
Yeah, she's. She's Infamous for it. I think Logan Paul had a jam up.
Mike
Yeah. So anyway, if you see shred Aids, start promoting meme coins. Don't buy.
Ben
That'd be so off brand.
Evan
I might buy one just in case.
Mike
No, I shouldn't say that.
Ben
I don't wanna.
Ryan
It's more of a risk not to own Shred Aid coin.
Alondra
Coins are going to be actual coins. They're not going to be.
Mike
That's pretty funny actually. That's actually hilarious. It's a gold coin that has a three wheeler on it. It's the shred Aid coin.
Ryan
And the other side is his face going like this.
Mike
Bro, that's actually a good idea. We got to tell them to do.
Evan
That's a perfect jet tag.
Mike
That's funny.
Ryan
Happen.
Mike
So.
Ben
What else we got?
CJ
Well.
Ben
So Evan, have you seen the Tiktoks?
Evan
Yep.
Ben
What are your thoughts on them?
Evan
I don't know. I think that some kids just found out they're going to catch a bunch of views making Tick Tock saying I fell off.
Ben
I'd agree with that. I think that they're all a bunch of sheep and they're hopping on a.
CJ
Train and there's no truth to it.
Evan
I don't think so at all.
Mike
Do you feel like the Cheeto army is switching up on you?
Evan
No, I would beg to differ.
Ben
I think they switched up real quick.
Mike
You don't think that there's still loyalty in the Cheeto Army?
Evan
No, I do think there is.
Ben
The Cheeto army as much as shrank tremendously.
Evan
I'm not so sure.
Ben
But maybe I think they switch up quick. They're a bunch of bandwagoners. But. So for anyone who.
Ryan
Who doesn't know, careful, you're coming at this Cheeto army here.
Ben
So for anyone.
Mike
Well, I used to think maybe you don't want to go out the Cheeto army. It didn't work out too well for Dalton. Now I'm wondering where their loyalty lies.
Ben
Yeah, it's no kidding.
Evan
So anyways, Dalton's got some followers. Doesn't mean the Cheeto army has switched up.
Ben
So to fill in the listener, if I happen to go on Tick Tock, which I don't really spend much time on Tick Tock, but when I do go on TikTok, there seems to be this trend going around saying that Evan has fallen off. Although I disagree that you have not fallen off. But there's this trend going around saying that you have just because you didn't hit that one jump.
Evan
And then of course, when I just feel it out not Even attempting to hit it, I ride over the jump that gets plastered in there and then just spread. Oh, Evan fell off. Look at him.
Mike
I was like, damn, this is probably going to, like, come through on camera that he just can't ride a dirt bike anymore. And then, I mean, it got chopped.
Evan
Up that way intentionally, though.
Ben
Like.
Mike
Well, yeah, it was more of just.
Evan
Like, I drive, like, the gap jump.
Mike
It was like.
Evan
And then it's like, oh, he doesn't hit the gap jump.
Mike
Yeah, it was. It was more of just a joke of just like, Evan isn't on a bike. And then they just took it and ran with it. And I think it was more of kids seeing that they could get some views off of views and likes. Yeah, just saying that. And then it just kind of spread like wildfire.
CJ
And I've noticed it with, like, other things too, is when we finally, like, say, well, like, crack a joke. And then everyone else thinks that they're like, I can crack that joke now, too.
Mike
Yeah. So I think that it did just get, like, blown out of proportion. And I think that there's one person that is really, like, leading the charge of, like, loving it, loving every second of it, and that's Dalton Evans.
Evan
Find out after these were coming up that Dalton posted a video, like, on TikTok like, months ago where he chops it where I'm on the stark for like, 30 seconds and tip over, and then he edits it and he's like, whatever. You guys know I'm talking about.
Mike
I don't.
Ben
I've seen it. Yeah, he's making himself better wheelies around.
Evan
The garage a whole bunch.
Mike
It's like, oh, yeah, it did get out of hand.
Evan
Clout chasing so hard. He's grabbing onto anything he can.
Mike
I think that one, the loyalty of the Cheeto army is pretty fluid of where its loyalty lies. But two, it's like, everybody loves a good comeback story, and this is your opportunity to just capitalize on that. And then the Cheeto army is going to be like, we knew he was still able to ride a dirt bike. He can still do it. I never doubted it for a second. And when those are probably still the kids that were, like, posting that or, like, liking it, but I think that this is your opportunity to gain the loyalty back.
CJ
I think they're still there, but also just like, there's, yeah, a lot of clout chasing the delusions, like, bringing Spenny into it. Okay, so Spenny did a lot of dirt bike in that video, and then Evan didn't, and everyone's like, damn. Watching spinning Take Evan's place. So, so surreal, man.
Mike
And I'm like, he's a professional dirt.
CJ
Yeah. And then I'm like. And then there was like. You know, I love reading the comments that are very sane. Very, like, they're like, no. Y' all are, like, so crazy. Like, Spenny's just a bro. He's in the videos, and Evan's not going anywhere. And I, like, you know, respond to it, and I'm like, true.
Mike
That's.
CJ
That's how it is, bro. Like, it's not that deep.
Ben
Yeah, I agree. I think it got out of hand and kids found out that they could make a tick tock. Just, like, the worst, stupidest little video of, like, just their, like, dirt bike just slowly panning across it. And then they put some, like, text on there. Like, Evan fell off. And then it just gets like, 60k likes on tick tock. Well, dude.
Evan
And it is like, the plus minus two. Because, like, I kind of said, like, this summer, we all got memberships at the golf course, and how many days a week did we end up playing golf? Where it's like, last year, maybe I would have went and rode bike, which maybe that is pretty lame. I didn't go ride dirt bike and I played golf instead. But I had, like, one of the funnest summers ever playing golf with the boys.
Mike
Yeah, we did have a lot of fun on the golf course.
CJ
And also, like, I, in a weird way, felt fortunate that, like, none of that was coming at me because Evan and I both didn't ride big bikes for legitimately three and a half months all summer.
Evan
Like, we went out, like, one time.
CJ
This spring, which is a damn shame.
Evan
And then when we film that vid.
CJ
Yeah, the only reason I was excelling slightly in that vid was because I went out and practiced because I was scared. The jumps were bigger and I knew that I had to go out and practice. And then. And you just didn't have that opportunity the two days before it.
Mike
People get super weird about us not continuing to do the exact same thing that we did five years ago. And they're like, oh, they're switching up. Like, they even say that about just, like, the channel in general when, like, I don't know if the viewer really realizes, but, like, we're not going to just do the exact same thing every single video. And, like, we have, like, evolved and grown, and the channel is much bigger than just, like, riding dirt bikes now where we do so many things. We do. It's Always been like that. But we. We do so many different things and we've just evolved and we have to. To continue to make better videos. It would. The whole thing would decline rapidly if we did the exact same thing and never evolved and never changed.
Ben
I mean, you can see the people that are in our same. We'll say niche.
Mike
Braden Price say that. I'll say it. He hasn't grown and adapted at the same rate. And same with Tyler Monaghan. Dirt bikes didn't change, didn't grow and adapt. People are like, oh, they. They've changed. They're not who they used to be. Well, no shit. Yeah.
Ben
I don't know if. If the majority of people say that. I think there's just this group of people that just complain and there's that. We'll say these TikTok kids, they just sit there and complain on there because that can get views and. And likes and stir up the pot. But the thing is, is that if we did the same thing, if we just only made the same video or we only made riding videos, they'd be like, man, they're running out of videos. They're running out of ideas. Like, they'll always stand on the side of complaint.
Mike
Yeah.
Ben
Like, that's just the moral of it. And I don't think all of our subs are. I think there's just a group that is just a bunch of little whiny little bitches.
Mike
It's a loud minority.
Ben
Yeah, exactly. It's a loud minority, but it's not the majority.
Mike
So when I see those TikToks about Evan, I know who they are. I got. You know. Yeah.
Ben
If you just click their account, it's like some little kid.
Mike
It's the same people like that. So, like, I haven't really thought too deep into it. And I know Evan doesn't give a shit. I know he doesn't give a shit one bit. I think, like, a lot of people are curious to what we do think about that or what Evan thinks about that. And everyone. I tell him, like, oh, yeah, Evan doesn't give a single fuck. Like, you think he cares about, like, those kids that are saying he can't. He's falling off because he can't.
Evan
One of the kids that made one of those TikToks, I'd line up with him on the track right now. Let's run a wheelie back. Let's hit a few jumps. Like, even Dalton the other day, he said we should go race. And even Spenny goes, Dalton.
Mike
No.
CJ
What do you you can't even for fun. I couldn't piggyback on any of that because, like, Evan could smoke me video.
Evan
I didn't perform very well, but at the end of the day, I think I still know how to ride a bike and you do. I don't. I don't let a couple get under my skin.
Ben
Yep. And we're working on a video right now for you to prove all those little tick tockers wrong.
CJ
And I mean, and that's the extreme side. Like, we definitely, like, we read all the comments that we are physically able to. And like, we love constructive criticism. Nobody loves hate.
Mike
Yeah. No. And I do want to always, like, have my finger on the pulse of, like, what people are saying, what. What people want to see or, you know, to a certain degree.
CJ
Right.
Mike
Because I think if you lose touch with that.
Evan
Yeah.
Mike
Then you lose touch with reality.
CJ
Yeah.
Mike
So much delusional.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
I just.
CJ
Now that just.
Mike
I'm just like a few tick tocks.
CJ
Now that Mike got married. Wonder how long they'll keep making videos. And I'm like, bro. And then I use. I'm like, do you guys see Cletus? He's like, happily married, two kids now, and just crushing it. I'm like, what does that even mean?
Ben
I think they're just trying to find something to be down about, you know, like, they're trying to find some, like, you know, whatever, but. And it's that same group.
Mike
Yeah.
Ben
Yeah.
Ryan
Totally agree.
Mike
Yeah.
Ryan
I was reading through the comments in the pod. We've been trying to make them, you know, we've been going a little bit longer. And someone commented, too long. And then I was like, God, someone is still upset with us. Like, you can make it longer now. It's too long. You make it shorter. It's too short. You make it too funny. There's not enough seriousness.
Ben
Exactly.
CJ
We're getting r. There was one too that was like, yo, only 37 minutes for the Reckless Golf 6 video. I'm like, it's the longest Reckless Golf video by far. It's longer than some of them combined.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
So I heard Roman Atwood say when he got the most hate, he was popping the most in his channel's history, which is scary. And so he said in the moment, it was like, oh, man, I'm getting all this hate. But then looking back at it is, of course I was getting hate. I was gaining a ton of subscribers. A bunch of new people were watching. I was getting put in front of so many more people. Who was I to think that Certain people weren't going to like me. And I think that is just something to take into consideration of. Like, there is hundreds of thousands of people on TikTok that know who these kids are talking about solely by saying the name Evan. It's pretty impressive how many people in this world are named Evan, and yet somebody just says the name Evan and hundreds of thousands of people with a dirt bike and know exactly who. Who you are. Right. So it's like these people are just. They switch up their loyalty, and if they're willing to switch up that easy, they're probably the same people that are going to come back.
Ben
Yeah, 100%.
Mike
Yeah.
Evan
I still, for the record, don't think it's the Cheeto army switching up. It's just people.
Alondra
You're just hearing louder complainers.
Mike
But that's the thing, too, is I get what you're saying there, because there's always been people that don't like you. They've just never had a voice. They've just never had a megaphone for it. And so they're able to capitalize on a moment like this. It's the same thing with people that don't like Dalton. When we never said anything about him or we never, you know, gave him that voice, he didn't get any hate. But you didn't also have anyone caring about him, like, with. I shouldn't say that, but I should, you know?
Ryan
Yeah.
Mike
Not that nobody didn't care about him, but I'm saying, like his parents did with. With. When a lot of people care about you, you're also gonna have haters. So it's like. It's like the give and take.
CJ
You were seeing all the. The Cheeto AI Cheeto memes on Dalton's, now you're seeing them on Evans. But you got to keep in mind, I mean, they're on, like, Greta's, Alondra's, Sydney's, Alex's. They're on. Everybody's like, the Cheeto army just fires those things to everybody. Cheeto memes, honestly, I find hilarious.
Ben
I think the Cheeto army switched up. I. I think you have a very small portion remaining, but I think that they'll come back.
Evan
That's Cap.
Ben
I think that. I think you have a small portion remaining.
Alondra
I think you're gonna have such a successful training week. I think everyone is going to come back.
Ben
I agree. 100. I agree. They're all going to come back.
Alondra
Just look at what you've so far. It's so much progress.
Evan
Four minutes on the treadmill. And wrecked a Chevy.
Ben
Yes, exactly.
Mike
It was a great start.
CJ
Good.
Ben
You were sweating, and we had you bench pressing. I did a couple squats.
Alondra
That's the sweatiest I think I've ever seen you.
Evan
I'm happy about that, honestly.
CJ
Ken's clearly never been in the sauna with this fella. He's in there spitting bars at 210 degrees.
Evan
Oh, God.
Mike
I will say this, though. Dalton is going to be heartbroken.
CJ
No.
Mike
Come Thursday night when he sees the tides back to normal.
CJ
Well, that doesn't mean you should just start re. Hating on Dalton.
Mike
No, no, no, no. But he. He's been getting off on Evan's hate, and it's gonna just be back to just loving him, I think. And Tone's gonna cry himself to sleep.
Ben
That's never really made amends.
Alondra
I feel like the amends were made just for the money at that point.
Evan
Oh, well.
Mike
I was at the lodge this weekend at elk camp, and this girl that was, like, 17 was a huge fan. I came around the corner, and she started crying.
Ryan
Wow.
Mike
She was like, I never thought that I would meet you in the middle of nowhere, Colorado. My boyfriend is going to melt. When, like, she was freaking out, right? And so I was just, like, asking her, like, you know, how long you been watching Greta's? Like, who's your favorite? And, like, saying all this? And then she goes, I love the Dalton and Evan beef. And I was like, you do? And she's like, I think it's so funny, like, their dynamic. And I was like, oh, yeah. It's. It's, like, so real. Like, we cut half of the shit because it's, like, them, like, saying gnarly things to each other that we can't put on the Internet. And then you also don't see when they do get along. And she's like. Like, I just think that that dynamic is. Is hilarious. And I love that you guys show that. I was like, oh, that's cool. I'm always interested to hear, you know, what people like about certain vids or certain dynamics in it, and that one was pretty funny. But we'll see if the tides might turn back.
Ben
I think they're going 100. I might even put a bet out on it.
Mike
To the tone of seven.
Ben
Grand and probably start hating.
Alondra
Get a call.
CJ
She bet going, CJ's got, like, an ideas board of how he can be the forefront of the next tick tock.
Ben
Trend about Evan's back on top. Yeah, I can see them now. Evan's back.
Mike
I.
Ben
Some of y' all were Just hating stuff like that.
CJ
I just was cracking the hell up about the, like, on Tick Tock, the search bar was always, like, Evan's fall off clip, and people were, like, trying to find the clip of you, like, physically falling off, which obviously doesn't exist.
Ben
Him falling off the bike?
CJ
Yeah, yeah, like, him falling off the bike. And that's that.
Ben
I was gonna just stay quiet.
CJ
You guys have been asking us to talk about that on the podcast, so we did.
Mike
There we go back.
Evan
Yeah, let's go eat lunch.
Alondra
Thanks for watching, guys. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Also, we're getting close to 5 million on YouTube.
Mike
So you were going to go into a better help ad right there.
Ryan
Promo.
Ben
God, yeah. 40,000 away from five minutes. Throwing a party at that. Yeah.
Mike
What are we doing for that?
CJ
We actually have to figure that out, and we're actually running out of time.
Alondra
Vegas.
Ben
I think we do it here. We just do it here and we invite our friends.
Mike
Why not?
CJ
But I'm. I think that's a brilliant idea. But, like, what else?
Mike
Break chairs, kegs.
Evan
We just run back the 1 million part, but for five, do it bigger chairs. Ben crashes a three wheeler into the couch.
Mike
Let's go.
Ryan
Big meet up. The next day, we bring Big Kev.
Evan
Over to smash a whiteboard, bring all.
Mike
Of our parents there, and they're still gonna be disappointed.
CJ
Like, cook us food and cakes, and then we just chuck it across the.
Evan
Rooms and then make them clean it up in the morning.
Mike
Yeah. Dude, that was crazy. That was crazy. They're gonna be like, man, they just never learn. We do got to do something good.
Ben
For it, because it's going to, like, five is more of a monument number than six or seven. Yeah. So it's like you hit five, and then the next time we throw one will be 10.
Mike
Yeah. And I mean, we'll throw one for.
CJ
All of them, but the other ones can just be, like, parties. That's why five can't just be a party.
Mike
Five is just, like, you invite everyone. It seems like such a blur from 1 million. Like, I don't really remember hitting 2, 3, or 4.
CJ
Well, bro, it's like, I remember when I made, like, the. The 2 million hoodie design, and all of a sudden, boom, we're rolling up on five.
Alondra
Which one did we do? Like, on the ice where we did the minnow shots. Was that two or three?
Mike
That was one.
Alondra
That was one.
Ben
Yeah.
Mike
Yeah, that was one.
CJ
Why?
Mike
You want to run it back? Minnow shots, Drop some comments down below, Maybe give us some dude.
Ben
I just, I really think we got to just have our families, all of our friends, anyone that's ever helped us along the way, they pull up and it's just a good old shot party and like, I don't know, be lit.
Mike
Maybe we'll invite one. One fan.
CJ
That'll be really.
Ben
Comment down below.
Mike
Yeah, if it was like a giveaway or we just randomly picked one subscriber, I don't know. It'd be cool though. All right, we got a lot to think about. We got a little bit of time. But if you made it to this point in the podcast, appreciate you subscribe. If you're new, we drop podcasts every Tuesday and we'll see you next week.
CJ
Peace.
