Ryan
Selling for a profit. I've only sold one car for a profit.
Ken
It's something I learned the hard way that that's actually just not usually the case.
Ryan
That's just cars.
Ken
Yeah. Yeah. I mean you shouldn't expect that ever. You shouldn't buy a car really. Ever expecting to sell it for more.
Mike
Mike was just showing us a Viper that is sick that we're trying to convince him to buy, as good friends should.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
But I was going to ask you, Mike, what is, like, what's the story with the Viper? Like, why is that the car? The ever elusive Viper.
Ken
My dad was a big mopar guy. I grew up a big mopar guy. We didn't have subscriptions of very many magazines. I think he just got it because he worked at the mopar dealership. But we had, like, the viper magazine. So I would just flip through it, and instead of, you know, like, car and drive, you're looking at all these different cars. I'm just looking at Vipers.
Mike
Straight Vipers.
Ken
Vipers. He's got, like, little replicas of vipers. Unfortunately for him, never owned a viper, but then that was kind of where that came from. I'm like, well, I should get one. And then as time went on, people on social media started treating vipers like there were some sort of holy grail. Not the holy grail, by any means, but they're like, oh, Z06 is. Those are sick. But did you see his viper? So that's rare. That's the goal behind it. Yeah. They're going up in price. So that's the downside. And I really think I got to make it happen this summer before they keep going up.
Angie
That is a downside for you, Mike, because you only like buying things that are going down in value.
Ken
Right. So you mentioned, like, dude, it feels insane to me to get, like, a loan on a supercar. It's crazy that the bank will give you that. Like, hey, I want this sports car.
Mike
The bank will give you money for just about anything as long as you're.
Ryan
Willing to pay for it.
Ken
It's crazy.
Mike
Like, they're in the business of giving people money.
Ken
That's true.
Mike
Money. Money. Mike doesn't even know what a bank is. I convinced my girlfriend that Mike didn't believe in banks for the longest time. I think she believed it for a couple of years, actually. And that Mike would just put his money underneath his bed, which isn't that crazy of, like, a. It's not that foreign of a concept.
Ken
Right.
Evan
Because we were up in Mike's office sl bedroom in the old shop, and he.
Ken
You had what, like, 1100 bucks in cash?
Evan
Yeah, I was going to say, like, a bunch of tip money, basically. And we're like, oh, yeah, Mike, he doesn't put his money in the bank.
Mike
He doesn't trust the banking system. Your mom doesn't trust the banking system?
Ryan
My mom doesn't trust anything.
Evan
Your mom doesn't trust the.
Ken
I Didn't know that.
Ryan
I try and like, listen to her for a little bit, and then she starts saying like, all these wild, wild conspiracies and just like, I. I feel bad, but I'm gonna tune you out for a little bit.
Ken
I. I think she does have. Still has some sort of compass. Like, some of the stuff she says I agree with. Do you as well, or do you think everything she says is crazy?
Ryan
No, there's like. For every 10 things, there's like the one that's like, okay, I. I gotta take you with a grain of salt right now.
Mike
I will always say one bad.
Ryan
Yeah, but it's always like the one that's always just completely out of left field.
Ken
I don't want to have him catch a straight here. But like, Uncle Buck, he. He's. He's also very accurate on a lot of things.
Mike
And I'm catching a straight.
Evan
Your uncle.
Ryan
Your uncle and my mom are pretty much the same on the same wavelength.
Mike
What conspiracy theorist would that be?
Angie
They're almost like doomsday prepping. Yeah, I'd say Buck is almost like Doomsday Prep 100%.
Mike
Yeah. Uncle Buck also kind of doesn't believe in. In the bank system.
Ken
Really?
Mike
And so he. Yeah, he has a bunch of money in silver.
Ken
Silver. Yeah.
Mike
So he lost a bet to me and he paid me 500 bucks or a thousand bucks in silver, which is pretty sick because it stopped me from like ever using that much. Like, I just have the silver in my safe now.
Evan
What the hell are you going to do? Like, molded into a frickin. What do they make silver? What do you know?
Mike
I think they just know it's like silver coins. So, like, if the banks did fall, I would have silver.
Evan
You got some shekels? Yeah, shekels takes.
Mike
Yeah.
Evan
For good.
Mike
I don't know how far it could get me, but it could give me, I guess, a little bit.
Ryan
Do you buy that online? Do you have to go somewhere for that? Or. Like, where does even get this?
Mike
Yeah, I think you can buy silver online, actually, but it comes in like crates, because silver is not light.
Angie
It's got to be expensive.
Mike
Got to. Yeah, that's a depreciating asset right there. Like you're spending a thousand bucks on silver, but it costs you 200 bucks to ship it.
Evan
It's like the immediately worth the 800 Robin Hood or like Coinbase or whatever. It's like the same thing. Yeah.
Ryan
Gas fees on crypto Mike, though, if you pull off.
Evan
If you pull off that Viper, I.
Angie
Think you got to buy it right.
Mike
Right now.
Evan
Oh, it's on ebay, dude. Just add to cart.
Ken
Deposit of $1,000 is required.
Mike
Done.
Ryan
You need to take a loan with my credit card or.
Mike
There you go. Ken will loan the money.
Ken
Deposits are non refundable.
Evan
The podcast could put up $1,000.
Ken
Yeah, luckily your deposit, this isn't that.
Ryan
You have to pay back.
Mike
Does the podcast have $1,000 to put up?
Evan
Yeah, just. It's all tied up. Yeah, well, assets and investments right now.
Ken
Yeah. It's ironic that I've literally thought that. I've looked at every Gen 5 Viper for sale right now, but he finds, dude, send me one that I haven't seen.
Mike
It's insane. I swear. Ken has some like back alley entrance to these apps.
Ryan
Just got Cargurus and Auto Tempest. That's like the two to look at because they have everything.
Mike
Mike, I think you should buy positive.
Ken
$1,000 is required. Is non refundable. That's not the end of the world.
Ryan
Trump changed for money.
Ken
Damn. Out of worse. No, I press buy it now.
Evan
Yeah, just press buy it now.
Angie
I do that at 125. Yeah, at least click. That'd be a good video. And then we can go and get it. Pick it up.
Ryan
There's a make an offer option on there.
Ken
Not on this one. I was hoping for that.
Mike
Come on, Mike. The podcast needs a thumbnail. For real. Mike buys a Viper live on the podcast.
Ken
Your account, it's been highly tested and buying what? I don't bid on anything. Currently, your account has reached the limit for bidding and buying.
Mike
Oh, have Evan do it then. Evan's got. Evan's got like the best. Yeah, he's got the best ebay account you can get. He doesn't believe in Amazon.
Angie
Why don't you just message the guy and then just do it off ebay?
Ken
That's probably a better idea.
Angie
I just get a hold of him and just say, hey, give me a call. Let's do this off ebay. I can, I can, you know, send you a thousand bucks or whatever, but let's. Let's meet up and I want the car. Just tell them you want to buy it.
Mike
Where's it at?
Ken
Ohio.
Angie
Can you drive it back from there? It's probably not.
Ken
I probably would. I probably would.
Evan
I will say my favorite part, my favorite miles in my vet. We're driving at home, so it's so fun.
Ken
I was literally just going to ask you that. I'm like, I like the idea of purchasing a vehicle and then driving it home. Permitting, it's not like the middle of winter, whatever. Because you immediately get to know. You're forced into getting to know all the things you probably are gonna love and you might not like about it.
Mike
Mostly.
Ken
Hopefully love also.
Evan
Like, we drive these roads every day. Like, even in the new car, it's not gonna feel that special. But you start in this new foreign place, it's like downloading a DLC to a new part of the video game. Like, it's just you're so excited. You're in a new place. You're trying to find the first gas station to stop to, like. It's so fun. It is. The best part is my favorite part about buying that car was picking it up in Texas.
Ken
So the Cummins that I bought a while back, it's actually.
Angie
You haven't even got that one yet. You have two cars here.
Ken
I know.
Angie
Two new vehicles.
Ken
That's not a reason not to, you know.
Angie
No, it's not. It's not.
Ken
Especially when you're mic full, send diesel where Dalton's truck is. So I was asking him when Dalton's truck would be done. I'm like, you should just take it back with Dalton's truck. And then he said, oh, we won't have room. We're taking another truck. And so then I'm like, I might just fly out there and drive it back.
Evan
Where's that, though?
Ken
Pennsylvania.
Mike
It's probably, what, 24 hour drive? Yeah, it was two days of driving.
Ken
It was 20 hours.
Evan
20. That sucks.
Ken
Yeah.
Evan
There is a point where it kind of goes like, do I want to drive from Pennsylvania?
Ken
Yeah. I would be like, mobbing with them on their way here with Dalton's truck.
Evan
Oh, that's true.
Ken
Probably the worst thing.
Angie
One of those guys drive it.
Ken
That's true. They just have to take another guy.
Ryan
That get it shipped too, for probably a thousand bucks.
Mike
This guy, he knows. Dude, he knows everything.
Ken
Like, I knew I could get it shipped, obviously, but for a thousand bucks, the guys.
Mike
Ken knows.
Ryan
Yeah. By the time you. You buy a flight and pay for the fuel.
Ken
Oh, yeah, no, that's what I'm getting is I couldn't even do that for that. Not even close.
Mike
Ken is just in the business of shipping things.
Angie
Is.
Mike
He's shipping packages. He ships. He's shipping. He's shipping the boys. Like, he does all of our travel advisory and then he's shipping our vehicles every which way.
Angie
I just had him ship the Teemu Typhoon today.
Ryan
Yeah, that one's gonna be a little bit of work. I don't think we're gonna get it here by the time the ice comes off. Oh really the problem is the width, but we're, we're working on it.
Ken
Oh, we want. Do we want it for the ice?
Angie
I mean, we just want it in general. It'll be fine.
Mike
Yeah. The TEU Typhoon that we bought, we, we had our buddy Wilton fix it, but the dude has so little confidence in the TEU Typhoon that he won't test drive it.
Angie
Yeah, he doesn't really.
Mike
He won't even put it in the water and test drive it for us cuz he's like, I don't want to be responsible for breaking it.
Angie
Like if it sinks. Which honestly, you can't blame the guy. It's literally held together by door hinges and two by sinking.
Ken
Makes sense. But the whole braking thing, it's like if he blew up both motors simultaneously, we'd be like, all right.
Angie
I don't think he's worried about that.
Ken
Yeah. Okay. It's just the torque sinking.
Evan
Just the torque ripping it apart.
Mike
Oh.
Ken
Like it might actually work so that the. Yeah, I could see that two by fours that hold the rear of the jet skis on could break.
Ryan
I'm just a little concerned at how this thing's put together. Just having this thing go across the country on a trailer might make it fall apart.
Angie
Well, it's got to get here somehow.
Mike
It did make it from South Carolina to Florida, which isn't that far. But one of the subs. He might even be listening right now. Came through heavy and drove it down on the shittiest trailer I think I've ever seen. I can't believe it made it that far. Please tell me that they're not transporting it back on that same trailer.
Ryan
No, no, he was saying he'll. He'll put the trailer on a flatbed.
Mike
Okay, good.
Ryan
Flatbed.
Mike
Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Ryan
I told dude, this trailer is a piece of garbage. I don't trust that it'll make it.
Mike
I don't think it would make it down the road at this point. That thing is so rickety.
Ryan
Mean, it's also wide.
Mike
Cj, you're going to be pretty proud of me.
Angie
What you do.
Mike
I got a speeding ticket.
Angie
Oh yeah. I saw that sucker.
Ryan
How fast?
Mike
Make you pretty happy.
Angie
Yeah, I mean, you were due for it.
Mike
I was due for it. I haven't got a speeding ticket in eight years.
Evan
Eight years. Not gotten a speeding tick in eight years.
Mike
Well, cuz, I drive pretty good, Ryan.
Evan
What happened the other day then?
Mike
Honestly, I got got. I got got dude, and it's not an excuse. I mean I was speeding, but I was coming off Highway 10 in Audubon.
Evan
Yep, dangerous spot.
Mike
And then there's like that, I don't know, 300 yards where it's a 30 and then it goes to the 55.
Evan
Oh, you got you in there.
Ryan
They just made that a 30 like a year ago.
Mike
Yeah, kind of whack because like I was just speeding up into 55. Like you turn and like it's not long enough where you like really think about like going through slow. At 30, you kind of just turn and then you just speed up and then by the time you get to the 55, you're like at 55.
Evan
Yep.
Mike
And I just.
Ken
Impressive because I think too fast most of us would be at about 65, 70.
Mike
I just sped up and got to the 55 and was just driving normal. Next thing I know, a cop's behind me. I pull over, I'm like, oh dude, I'm getting go for tent. My tent is insane on the urus. And 0% he comes up and he shows me a picture he must have took a photo of. I don't even know what this was. But he shows me a picture of the back of my car and then you can see the 55 mile per hour sign like in front of my car. So you see the 55, my car. And then he goes, I clocked you at 55 here and it's a 30. And I'm like looking back, I'm like, right there.
Evan
What?
Mike
Right here? And he's like, yeah. And I'm like, I don't even, what do you even say? 55 and a 30.
Angie
I'll tell you what you're saying, dude, write the ticket.
Mike
No, I, I didn't even argue it, I was just like, yeah, they like it. That is me in that photo that you're showing me right now. So clearly I was doing it.
Ryan
They just made that a 30 like within the last 12 months though. And you don't even think about it. Cuz we've lived around here for so long, them changing that speed limit doesn't even register in my mind.
Mike
Well it should now because they're posted up and. Yeah. So then he starts tearing my car apart and was like, you got tint on it? And I was like. Or he was like, this is dark tint. How dark is it? I was like, I don't know. It was on there when I bought it. Which I knew is dark. I knew it was dark. I didn't know it Was this dark? It's 3%.
Angie
Holy crap.
Mike
3%.
Ken
Okay, that actually makes sense. I was kind of joking when I said zero percent like that. That's dark. I was just got reader on.
Mike
He puts his reader on and like the reader was on the inside of the window so I could see it and my jaw just dropped. He's like, how dark? And I go, three. Take a guess. And he was like five. And I was like, three.
Evan
Oh, my gosh.
Angie
That's funny.
Mike
I was like. I was like, holy.
Angie
So he was being nice.
Mike
I mean, yeah, he was a nice, nice guy.
Angie
Did he give you a tin ticket or no?
Mike
Yeah, he gave me a windshield tint ticket. Oh, wow. And then he came back and was like, you know, I'm not going to give you a. A window for the sides tin ticket, but I am going to give you for the windshield. And I was like, all good. Understand? And. And then he was like, but can't do anything about the speeding. And that just gives me my ticket. I was like, bro, not even like. So you got knock it down to.
Angie
A 55 and a 30.
Mike
Yeah.
Evan
So that's 25 over.
Mike
Yeah, it is 25 over.
Evan
Ryan, is that a mate? Like, that's a major speeding ticket, right? Like, you start getting up in those numbers.
Mike
I don't know, it's. Dude, not a minor.
Evan
What's 25 over in 80? 80 and a 55 is pretty fast. But it's like right at. In this little zone here, like, you're just speeding up a little early. That's tough.
Mike
It's tough.
Ryan
25. All right. Tough. Look.
Ken
Yeah, I thought your rear view, your rear view mirror was like super high tech. Trying to dim it down or something. Because I'm like, dude, I cannot see out of this. I look back, I'm like, oh, it's just that dark.
Mike
It's just that dark.
Ken
Yeah.
Evan

Mike
Yeah, the guy that had my car before me had to have been, I don't know, he had to have been some kind of celebrity or something that didn't want anybody knowing who was in it. Which is kind of nice. Like when I'm in there and like somebody is like maybe sitting there looking at you at a stoplight and it's kind of awkward and. Well, I don't think it's that awkward, but Greta hates it and she's like, can they see us right now? I'm like, no, no, trust me, no, they cannot. It's pitch dark in there.
Ryan
Might have had an eye condition.
Angie
Ken has a window tint prescription. Yeah, thanks to you, Ben.
Ryan
I've got light sensitivity because of you.
Angie
Thanks to Ben.
Ken
Funny, because you should be thanking him.
Angie
Ken.
Mike
Ken, you should be thanking me. They don't have 10 tickets anymore.
Ryan
Actually, I haven't got a window t. Window tint ticket since you did that.
Ken
So if you don't even need to walk on wood though, can you for.
Angie
Clarification, Ken Matthews, he got so many window tin tickets that after Ben smashed him in the face with his birthday cake on his birthday and the candle went to his eye.
Mike
All right, blow it out.
Angie
That was too much.
Evan
No one not okay.
Angie
Two days later.
Ryan
It's pretty.
Angie
Yeah. Damn, bro.
Ryan
Can you see that?
Angie
Ken then went to the optometrist and they gave him a window tint prescription because his eyeball is slightly messed up now, and he now can legally have illegal tint on his car.
Ryan
Only on the sides, not on the windshield, which is like the most important part. But yeah.
Mike
What?
Angie
Don't be complaining, Ken. All of us would love to be able to have.
Ken
Well, it was interesting because we were all trying to, you know, find a way to finagle our way into getting that signature on, like, a tint right off. And then Ken just so happened to actually become injured.
Angie
Ken earned it.
Ken
Yeah, exactly. Like he earned it.
Evan
Earned it.
Ken
So it's like, if there's anyone that's.
Ryan
Going to have it, win some, you lose some.
Ken
That.
Ryan
That just came out as a dub on my side.
Mike
Yeah.
Angie
I mean, normally though, like, my advice, when you get caught red handed speeding and you're clearly speeding, it's just best to be like, yeah, I know. Shouldn't have done that. I'm. I'm an idiot. And then they normally lighten up at that point. And then we'll sometimes let you go off the tint and then sometimes even knock it down. Yeah, like my last one, the guy knocked it down. I think I was going like 80 or something in a 55. And he knocked it down to like, not as much or maybe it was higher. I don't know. I got the ticket in there.
Ken
Whenever I get caught speeding, I tell them, they're like, you know how fast you were going? And then I like, make it sound like I'm guessing and then guess the exact amount that I was going.
Mike
88. If he would ask that, I would have been like, where? Like, I didn't even.
Evan
Yeah, I didn't even really know.
Mike
Didn't even read.
Evan
It was the honest mistake.
Angie
The ticket I got before my last one. The guy came up just all, like, fucking mad. And because he came up all mad, I just decided to just like. I was just like, fuck it, I don't even care. And then he was like, you're going pretty fast, weren't you? I was like, was I? Yeah, I did that. And I kind of put a stupid look on my face, which made him even more mad. Then he was like, you had been going well above 80. I got you at 80. I was like, that doesn't make sense. No, I don't think so. And, like, just Was going back and forth and. And then I like caught him going back on his words and. And I was just like, see, that's.
Evan
Why I think they loosen up. They loosen up when you're just like, yeah, I messed up. Then they're like, okay, I'm not going to deal with some guy who thinks he's a lawyer and going to try to talk his way out of this ticket. Like if you just. And I think that's the right thing to do. If you're like, I have made a mistake or committed a crime technically, and by going too fast, you're just like.
Mike
Yeah, I did it.
Evan
You're not going to be like, oh no, my speedometer was off or you're reader is inaccurate. You know, just like, just trying to lie to get your way out of it. If you just like accept responsibility for something like that, I feel like then they loosen up.
Mike
Yeah, I got. Got in 4k straight up. I love. He showed you a. Show me a picture. I was like, God, I look stupid driving right now with that little. The white wheels with the 55.
Evan
Right? Can I get that picture?
Mike
Yeah, that guy's an idiot. Sorry.
Evan
Mike, you buy the Viper yet?
Ken
I forgot my wallet at the farm.
Evan
And put in your credit card.
Ken
Yeah, I guess. My credit card. You need to link it to prove that you're verified of age. To buy this item.
Mike
You want to buy, use mine.
Ken
Sure.
Angie
Do it.
Ken
Yeah, I mean I'm not going to obviously use it to buy anything else, so.
Evan
Good. Add the Viper to cart.
Ken
So, yeah, that's. Dude, it's hilarious. Has anyone bought a car on ebay? I know. It's actually a pretty reputable.
Ryan
Yeah, I bought my. My WRX on ebay.
Evan
You had a wrx?
Ken
That's right. A red. Yeah, red wrx.
Angie
Oh, yeah.
Mike
All right.
Ken
Anyway, I'll. I'll get back to you guys.
Evan
You guys been buying the Dip?
Ken
I've actually bought stocks for the first time in my entire life.
Mike
Nice, Mike. You bought at the dip, right?
Angie
There you go, Mike. Worked out pretty good and. Huh.
Ken
Yeah, worked great.
Angie
As of right now, they might drop again.
Ken
Yeah.
Angie
So don't feel too good.
Mike
Yeah, kind of wild. Dude, I've been watching just like a lot of different YouTube, like finance videos about people just talking about where we're at right now with the economy. And I just keep thinking like, man, is this how it felt in like 08? I was just too young to even know what was going on back then.
Ken
Right.
Mike
But just like, I guess the way people have been looking at it.
Angie
But I don't know if this is as bad as 08.
Mike
No, 08. 08 was, I think like a.
Angie
The housing market crash.
Mike
50% loss in the.
Ryan
Did he. It feels more like the 2020. The market's more like 2020 than.08, I think at least it seems very parallel to 2020.
Angie
The thing is, though, is like, so it just rocketed up today because Trump pushed the tariffs back another 90 days for every other country other than China. And so, yeah, I mean, that puts us out three months. So end of summer, roughly, we're going to. We're going to have more of an answer, which will either send them all the way back down again or send them up. The thing with the stock market, Mike, is that you don't want to time it, you just want to have time in it. That's what they say. It's not about timing the market, it's about just having time in it.
Ken
Yeah, that's if anything I'm aware of. It's just literally that I plan to, like, leave it in there for the next five years or whatever.
Angie
The nice thing about you being late to the game on buying stocks is that you came late at the perfect time because you just saved yourself like a year or maybe even two in terms of your buy in price.
Ryan
Any gains you could have had in the last year would have been basically reset back to where they were 12 months ago.
Angie
Yeah.
Ken
Yeah, that's a good point.
Angie
Worked out.
Evan
Good job, Mike.
Angie
Hey, job, Mike.
Mike
Good things come to those who put it off.
Ken
Yeah, it's really. It was a lack of knowledge and it's just like. It is interesting how that can just go on and on. I don't know. It just puts my first couple thousand in the stock market and hopefully now.
Evan
You'Re buying a Viper, dude.
Mike
I'd say it went pretty good, Mike.
Ken
Big return.
Mike
The other day we were sitting in Big Wrench's garage and it's when everything started going down. And CJ opens up his phone and goes, ken, how do I sell all. How do I sell everything?
Ken
Like serious. Because when you.
Angie
I did sell everything.
Ken
Yeah. And when you told me you sold everything, of all the things that you worked up to get, I didn't quite understand it. I was like, so he sold everything like that? Was that the right thing to do? I don't know.
Ryan
You sold everything and then he bought it back?
Ken
Yeah.
Ryan
Did you sell again?
Angie
No. I don't know, like, how much I can really say, but I've been like buying stocks for probably Three, maybe four years, and just, you know, slow and steady. Had quite a bit of money in there. Probably two months ago, I was up, like, 40 grand. Like, if you would have just gone to my gain loss statements. So I was doing really well in the stock market, but I just, you know, been buying at good times over time and all of that. I had watched in probably a week go down and down and down and down and down. And I was like, even this was the dip prior to. Once it really started tanking. But basically I was like, I'm even. This is probably going to keep going lower because, like, the. Everyone's. This was before even any tariffs had, like, been set. I don't know. I just was off the cbd, and I was a little nervous, and I just was like, ken, how do I sell all. I sold all of my stocks in one moment there, and then they fricking rocketed up the next day, which was so stupid.
Mike
And we're sitting there. Yeah.
Angie
Everyone was laughing at me. Everyone's laughing at me.
Mike
And then, dude, Evan loves this story the most.
Angie
Yeah. Evan show the story better, dude.
Mike
He loved that moment when he goes, you guys see the stock market today? Evan doesn't even have stock. He doesn't give.
Angie
He now cares. Yeah.
Mike
He just cares that CJ lost money. Yeah.
Angie
So. But then it ended up going back down again to actually even more past when I sold.
Mike
Yeah. I mean, in. In hindsight, it was the right move after seeing what it did keep going down. But that would assume that you bought at, like, the lowest point, and then it goes back up. But, like, the thing is, is you just never know.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
I mean, never know.
Angie
I don't think it was the right move for me because then I started, like, nibbling back in. So I basically, like, sold at a spot. It went up, and then it went back down, and I bought some more. And then, like, it would have been as if I never sold. And then it went down more again. But then I kept buying. I was telling Mike. I was like, bro, now is the time to start buying. And now, you know, we are. Now we up. Now we up. This guy's getting a fucking Viper.
Ken
All right, so we're. We're ready. It says price 125,000 deposit 1,000. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
Ryan
Do you want to negotiate at all or you just will?
Ken
I probably should. I sent him a message there. Yeah, there was no, like, number, so I don't know if it's a private seller or not.
Evan
Really annoying. Yeah, you can't just call.
Ken
Yeah, I really would love to talk to him.
Angie
I'm pretty sure if you deposit that thousand, it'll at least be held in escrow by ebay. So you're good.
Ken
All right, let's do it.
Angie
Do it, Mike.
Mike
Let's go, Mike. Mike's game.
Angie
Viper.
Mike
Let's go, Viper. Mike, what a moment. What a moment. Live.
Ken
I love it. You've committed to buy this item. Pay now. The next option, buy another buy to fuck it.
Evan
Mike, wait, you still got Ben's card in there? Dude, just pay now.
Ken
I don't really think that would work. It would break it, man. My heart is beating really fast as you can imagine.
Evan
Is it? Oh, that's so exciting.
Angie
It's nerve wracking making a big purchase like that.
Ken
Almost the biggest besides a house.
Evan
Oh my gosh, Mike. Now I'm looking at it and it looks even cooler.
Angie
Viper.
Mike
What?
Angie
Viper. Mike, this is the most anticipated because you bought it.
Evan
That's what I mean.
Ken
It says sold. So like, basically I think if I were to say I don't want it anymore, the thousand dollars would disappear. It's not fundable. I gotta go.
Mike
Yeah, bro, get out of here. Go get that thing. Go get.
Angie
Drive it back tomorrow a little bit.
Ryan
Time to hop off flight to go get it.
Ken
I need to get a loan.
Mike
If money Mike wants to.
Ken
Yeah, I'm. This is a genuine question. It's very financial podcast here. Like, is it in my best interest to get a loan?
Mike
No.
Angie
Well, how much money you got?
Ryan
I mean, how much do you want to put down on it is the biggest question.
Angie
Depends. You got a lot of big purchases coming up. You got your wedding, you got your house remodel, you just bought a truck was paid off right now, like to get a vehicle loan, it's around like six and a half percent. It is more in your favor to pay for it all. But if you do need that money to like do other things, you're better off getting a loan. And maybe you just use that loan.
Ken
For six months a little bit.
Angie
Six months. Just so you don't put yourself in a pickle and then you. You kill the loan six months, a year later.
Ken
That's what I should do, I think.
Angie
So let's say you took the 125 grand and you kept in a high yield interest savings account that you're going to get right now like three and a half percent. So that's half of the six. So I mean, if that makes you feel any better, but generally like, that's how I would decide whether I would do.
Mike
Yeah. If you can take that money and make more than 6%.
Ken
Right, whatever.
Angie
@ not much risk. So.
Mike
Yeah, I mean you could put it in a high yield savings account and then you're making three and a half, four percent. It's like four.
Angie
Then essentially a pickle.
Ken
Then essentially it cuts your rate in half.
Angie
Yeah, well, in a sense, like you.
Evan
Would be doing it, but pull up your heart rate. I'm intrigued on that.
Ken
Yeah, I am too. It's not like crazy crazy, but I can definitely feel my, like my, my armpits are sweating.
Evan
I love that feeling, dude. The feeling of just making an impulse expensive purchase. Oh, there's Nothing like it.
Ken
94 beats per minute now.
Angie
He's cool as a cucumber.
Ken
Yeah, that's pretty chill.
Angie
Not really. I guess that's. That's like a little bit high.
Ken
Pretty high for sitting, I guess.
Angie
Sitting.
Evan
What's your standard resting?
Ken
I do it really low, actually. I mean like 50.
Evan
That's what I mean. 30 above.
Ryan
What's your siege?
Angie
I'm checking right now for us.
Mike
Congratulations. Congratulations.
Angie
My big money.
Mike
I'm so glad that we caught it on the podcast. That's. That's sick.
Ken
Maybe you, you guys know the feeling when you're like, I think this is the one.
Evan
Yeah.
Ken
Is it the one?
Mike
This is the one.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
No, I feel that it's a great feeling actually. And then you just like can't stop thinking about it.
Ken
I. I don't think I'll ever stop.
Mike
I know. It's the best feeling ever, bro. I'm stoked for you, bro.
Angie
Dude, what we need to do is obviously you should go get that thing. I think you should film picking it up. I think that obviously someone goes with to film you ride and drive that.
Evan
Thing back, bring it straight to end.
Ken
Super down, super down. Yeah, I actually. Okay, so Nth moto. I mean, I think I maybe mentioned this, but they, they only modify Vipers and they build them like crazy like 2800 horsepower and stuff like that.
Mike
And they have rear wheel drive cars.
Ken
Messed up, dude.
Mike
It's crazy.
Angie
I don't think they have traction control, do they? The one the older ones didn't like.
Ryan
The 90s and early 2000s. I don't think they have it.
Ken
So yeah, it's still a death trap, but just not quite as much. But I just wonder like if I, I would love to take it there and get something done. But I could see them being like, bro, if you're not trying to do 1800 to the wheels. Get out of here.
Evan
They just won at Texas 2K. The 300 or 3300 rear wheel horsepower. King bro, who's driving a 3000 horsepower car?
Angie
How many cylinders is it?
Ryan
10.
Angie
It's a V10. That's right.
Mike
Is it actually aspirated? Yeah, it is. So not that those ones are those supercharged.
Ken
So the big twin turbo. I think usually twin turbo, the biggest flex is to have a Viper ACR with twin turbos with rolling analog and.
Angie
Mike, is that a T top? Is that a T top then? So it's just full hard top. The top doesn't remove. Okay.
Evan
Does it have side exit exhaust?
Ryan
So what, what's your first mod going.
Evan
To be that way?
Ken
Well, I was just going to say. Oh, yeah. So it doesn't. Well, you guys have seen it popped up here. It has everything I want besides the big wing. And you know I love big wings. Can't lie about that.
Mike
So good.
Ken
So, yeah, I'll definitely be doing that. It's just a matter of when. But other than that, it's like, I don't know. I don't really. Well, I'll do wheels too. Wheels. Yeah, you're right. All right.
Mike
You can't. You can't have a bigger wing on your drift car then.
Ken
No, that will be first. But then probably exhaust. You got to let that V10 bark, dude.
Angie
This really is a special moment because you've been talking about wanting a Viper. Like your dream car has always been a Viper. And I think it's pretty, you know, the story behind it, as you already told earlier, is pretty deep.
Ken
Yeah. It hasn't been fully unwavered. There's been times that I'm like, this is never going to happen. There's been times where I'm just like, I should just get a gtr. I still love to own a gtr. It'll be so much easier. There's so many more out there. Dream come true.
Evan

And when the company finally tells you it's too late, the damage is already done. Data breaches aren't slowing down, they're getting bigger, and the delays in reporting them aren't helping. Mike in a fast, Fast Car this is your first fast car, Mike.
Ken
8.4 liter dude.
Mike
I can already see his face on the shifts already.
Ken
That's actually what's funny too is that they're all just six speed manuals. So like I don't have any fancy.
Angie
It's a driver's car, man.
Evan
Yeah, it is a driver's car.
Mike
That's pretty sweet. The manual.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
Not. Not many like really fast cards like that are manual anymore.
Ken
Yeah. Really at all.
Mike
Kind of hard to come by.
Ken
And if they, and if they are, they have like you know, the ZR1 manual that had a seven speed. So it's kind of like a newer.
Evan
Yeah, yeah, just your classic six speed.
Ken
I wonder if it rev matches. It's a 2013, so it's 12 year old car.
Angie
Doubt it.
Ryan
Might have been before they started doing that.
Evan
Can you even get like a Lamborghini manual anymore?
Angie
No. Yeah, they stopped doing those after the Gallardo. They were pretty rare in the Gallardo even. Honestly.
Ryan
Maybe some of those race car only ones like.
Ken
Maybe.
Angie
No, no, they don't do this is it here yet?
Evan
Dude, I'm so excited. Holy shit. I can't believe you just did that. I can't believe you just bought a Viper live on air.
Ken
I can't either.
Evan
Yo, Dalton. Dude, Mike just bought a Viper. What?
Ryan
Yeah.
Evan
How sick is that Viper?
Mike
Mike, I went to the bathroom for five minutes.
Evan
Surprise.
Mike
And pack your bag because you and Mike are hopping on a plane tonight at 6.
Ryan
You guys are going to Ohio.
Mike
Wait, wait, wait.
Ken
We're going tonight?
Mike
Yeah. You didn't have anything planned?
Angie
We're kidding.
Mike
We're kidding.
Ken
I don't think we can get a flight that early, but maybe this weekend.
Ryan
5Am tomorrow.
Angie
Let me hold this editing tomorrow.
Ken
I need. I still need a walk around video of this car and I still need a phone call from the guy.
Mike
Mike, you gotta kick that guy in the neck. Nuts. You gotta get them down.
Angie
Yeah. Get there and then try to get 20 grand off.
Mike
You guys see that video that Nelk just dropped on Instagram where they. They go and they try and buy. Like in this instance, it was a golf driver. And then he's practice swinging. He hits the driver on the ground and it sparks. And he's like, oh, I didn't see this big scratch on this, man. I'm gonna need at least 50 bucks off. And the guy's like, you just hit it.
Angie
You just hit it.
Mike
And he's like, oh, no, this. This was there. That wasn't me. It's very funny though. You go there, freaking curb the wheels, and then you hop on. You're like, oh, the wheels are curved.
Ken
That would actually be pretty.
Evan
Like the alignment's off a little bit.
Ken
I could never do that with a straight face.
Mike
Yeah, it's just you and Dalton. Yeah, but you don't tell Dalton that you're doing this. He's just like.
Ken
That would actually. That would make it if you didn't know. You're like, dude, what are you doing? Where is it? It's in Ohio. So however far that is from here, that's considered Midwest.
Mike
Well, let me know when you make the purchase and we'll go get it.
Angie
Gosh, Mike, you are going to have a crazy fast Car for the first time ever.
Ken
Yeah. It's going to be nuts. We kind of.
Evan
That.
Ken
I'll be bringing my truck to that one.
Mike
Right.
Ken
We got a truck show.
Mike
You got to bring them both.
Evan
I feel like we're going to need friends to bring all sick when we.
Mike
Mob all of our cars down. Yeah. What are the dates?
Evan
May 17th.
Mike
May 17th. We have a car show slash truck show at the custom offsets warehouse in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
Right outside Appleton, Wisconsin.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
Here's the address of it. Here's the dates. Here's the times. If you live Honestly, within five hours, 10 hours. We're driving, like, 10 hours.
Angie
Yeah. Yeah.
Mike
Pull up.
Evan
I'm so excited, dude.
Mike
It's gonna be so sick.
Evan
Mike's new viper will be there.
Mike
We'll bring, obviously, all the cool cars and cool trucks that we got. Dalton's rolling up with his truck that he keeps hyping up and says it's supposed to be pretty sick. Mike, it's gonna be viper.
Ken
Yeah. I guess if you are. Even if you live really far away, you should probably pull up.
Mike
Yeah, I think it's gonna be really sick. I'm excited.
Angie
Yeah, it's gonna be. Yeah, definitely. Come. I think this is gonna be a rowdy, rowdy meet.
Mike
We haven't had a car show.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
Since, what, 2019.
Angie
Yeah.
Ken
Really?
Evan
The one we did at the 20 store. Cormorant.
Angie
We just.
Mike
Yeah, the one in corn route. What was that? 2019. Right.
Angie
Probably.
Mike
I had the Corvette. No, so it had been 21.
Evan
21.
Mike
Yeah. Right after Covid then still four years ago.
Evan
Tom's burnout pad in the back by the propane tank. Yeah.
Ken
That wasn't legit. We had to tell everyone not to burn out so that only, like, five people would do it.
Mike
Yeah. Cormorant.
Ken
Are we going to have a legit burnout shut down?
Mike
I think we got to figure that out.
Evan
Be pretty sick.
Mike
Make it happen. That'd be sick.
Evan
Like, you got to toast a set of tires on that thing.
Mike
I mean, if you're doing a. If you're doing a meetup at custom offsets, the place that sells tires.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
I. I feel like it only makes sense to have a spot to burn them off.
Ken
Just. Yeah.
Mike
Toast the tires.
Evan
Holy smokes. Yeah, that's. That's just.
Mike
And you could call it holy smokes.
Evan
Just good business right there is what it is.
Mike
Yeah. So, yeah, save the date. Put in the calendar.
Evan
I'm excited for it. Like, I'm actually. I'm excited to have, like, a cool car. Show like Appleton has cool car culture. I hope other people come with cool cars.
Ryan
It's nice. It's like right between Minneapolis and Chicago. So you can potentially get like both of those like groups of people too.
Evan
And I called up all my Corvette buddies.
Mike
Yeah. Corvette rally coming through.
Angie
Corvette club.
Evan
Those guys got it figured out. It was like a Tuesday afternoon. They were all eating barbecue, driving around their Corvettes.
Angie
Yeah, it looked pretty fun.
Mike
That's true. They did have a good thing going there.
Angie
Granted, we were on our way to the racetrack in our cars.
Evan
Yeah, that was better. More our speed. But you know, still, that was so.
Mike
Funny messing with those Corvette guys. It was so stereotypical too. You run intent on this thing? No. No front license plate. I see. Yup.
Evan
I'm trying to get jammed up by the law.
Mike
Makes sense.
Ryan
One of the dudes had like a. It was a dash cam or a radar detector. And he was talking about how you had to wire it in a specific way by a certain guy. Otherwise it voids the warranty.
Evan
I need to find that guy actually, because I'm sick of having my dash cam freaking with the cord all the way down through my thing.
Mike
You guys have radar detectors? All of you guys?
Ryan
No.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
Does it help you?
Angie
Yeah, it actually does. Like, I wouldn't have gotten my last two tickets if I would have had my radar detector in my G wagon. I just left it in my truck. And that was the problem. I went a whole year without getting a ticket, which is pretty. The radar, with the radar detector, there.
Ken
Is such a thing as leaning on it too hard. You know, you can do that. You always expect it. Like if it's not going off, there's not anybody looking at you. But for the most part, yeah, like seven times out of ten it's saving you. Like if you get a good one off. Yeah, you do.
Angie
But yeah, you can't be speeding in stupid spots with it still. And then think you're not going to get caught.
Ken
Right. And think that it's not going to go off like they already got you. But I think it's worth it. I tell everyone that anyone that likes to speed, if you don't like to speed, there's no point, obviously.
Evan
But I just got it because it has a dash cam.
Ken
Yeah, yours is nice for that.
Evan
Because I was driving one day and I was like at a four way stop and I just looked right, saw a shipping truck, looked left, started driving like blew through the stop sign at 60 miles an hour. Full box truck just did it have.
Mike
UPS on the side it may have.
Evan
And it was not our boy Wade or any of our UPS cronies that we like. I figured that out. But anyway, literally, I, I don't know. I don't know if I would have like been okay after getting hit at 60 miles an hour by Might have.
Mike
Straightened you out, Ryan.
Evan
It might have. It might have. But it might have messed me up. And then so I got a dash cam that happened to come with a radar detector.
Angie
Cuz you would have been okay if you would have gotten hit with your dash cam on.
Evan
No, the idea would have been that when I got hit, it would have made the lawsuit a little cleaner when I'm freaking unable to, to tell my story of why I got hit.
Mike
Dude, if you got t boned by a UPS truck at 60, it was scary. You'd probably retire off of that.
Evan
Well, I wouldn't want to do that. But I'm also not trying to like, you know, if I was unable to tell my story and then everyone goes, oh, idiot youtuber, run stop sign and get smoked. Even though that truck was supposed to be going 0 miles an hour because there was a stop sign there. You know, you just never know.
Mike
That's how that woman feels that Ken backed into in Vegas.
Angie
Yeah. Can we talk?
Evan
You've been calling you.
Ryan
No, I actually, I, I, there have been a lot of calls that I've ignored because they call like seven times but no, I haven't gotten any. California.
Angie
That was so freaking. Can I tell the story from my, my. So we're on our way to go to the dunes to go film the Stark cart in the dunes and I hit a workout in the morning. I'm feeling good. I got up, I was up earlier in these guys because these guys are out late and I'm, I eat like a good breakfast. I'm like ready to go.
Mike
It was the night that I got locked out of my hotel room. Well, that's, I'm glad that you had a.
Angie
It felt good anyways, first night. So you know, you always have the choice. It's like you got two vehicles. Who do you hop in with? I normally look at the driver and who's riding like, okay, does this person, has this person showered? Who's driving? Is this a reckless driver? I'm going to hop in with Ken. Safe bet he's in the rental car. He's not going to do anything too crazy. So I hop in. I think I was even eating some eggs, enjoying some, some coffee, and next thing I know there's this like semi. It was his fault, there's a semi trying to drive through, like, Las Vegas. Like, cut into where our hotel is, and the dude went too far. So then he had to, like, just.
Mike
Taking a left at it.
Angie
Yeah.
Ken
So just imagine the F1 trillion trying to do anything super long.
Angie
He basically miscalculated it and then had to cut it super sharp. And his trailer basically was super tight in our lane, and it was going to hit us, and he was not slowing down at all. So Ken throws this thing in reverse and starts backing up. And this guy keeps creeping forward, and Ken's backing up, backing up. And next thing you know, this freaking girl behind us, she, like, stopped backing up, probably because the person behind her stopped backing up. And basically, Ken just backs into this. This lady.
Ryan
It was a light tap, I would say. It was. It wasn't like a. I didn't even.
Angie
Really know we got an accident. I thought you just slammed on the brake super hard. That's what it felt like was like Ken slammed on the brake super hard, but everyone was like, oh, freaking out. I'm like, what?
Ryan
What? Everyone else.
Ken
Weird to even call it.
Ryan
Everyone else has to just be, like, the most animated version of themselves when anything happens. Everyone's screaming, hooting, and hollering, oh, yeah, dude.
Mike
You know, we bust out the cameras.
Angie
Yeah, we.
Mike
Everyone in the car hops out. They're filming, like, oh, I just got an accident.
Angie
I started questioning. I was like, was it worse than it was? Because I think Evan was almost trying to just make you feel bad. He's like, that was a hard hit. Like, he was trying to say it was a hard hit.
Ryan
Okay. So the only damage was the screws from her license plate put a little imprint into the bumper on the rental car. And then I think when I pulled away, like, her. Her license plate, like, bent just a tiny little bit, and she's, like, looking at it. She was, like, FaceTiming her mom. Her mom was like, what? What's wrong? Your car looks fine. And it was like, end of the day, nothing happened. But it was just like.
Angie
But she was being difficult and wanted your insurance and all this.
Ryan
Well, it was because people kept coming out and with the camera, and then they kept, like. Other people in our group kept, like, going back, like, to look at it in film. And then she starts questioning stuff, and it was just like, everyone in our group just kind of made the situation 10 times.
Angie
Imagine you're sitting there. She looked like she was leaving work, and someone just backs into you when you're sitting at a stoplight and Then eight people hop out of the thing, just filming you laughing.
Mike
Laughing, like what?
Ryan
That was probably the best case scenario of that whole situation. Otherwise that truck would have torn off the front end of that rental car.
Angie
Yeah, dude, that guy. What the. The freak was that guy doing?
Ryan
He should like, he just. That was just a street he should not have been on because it's a narrow street. That's like a one way almost.
Evan
I have been a guy.
Ken
Yeah. I mean, multiple times.
Evan
RVs, trailers, big rigs. When you guys are like, let's take her through the Chick Fil a drive through. And I'm in a 38 foot RV, everybody's in the back wasted, and I'm pulling a 32 foot trailer. You guys are like, I need McDonald's. And I'm so. I'm like, oh, all right. And then before you know it, you're in, you know, you're in a jama. So like, I feel for the guy. Maybe. He definitely made a wrong call.
Ryan
Like he could have just gone.
Evan
I've never done that.
Ryan
He could have just gone straight though. And he would have completely avoided that whole like tight neighborhood situation.
Mike
Ken knows the roads better than a local. It probably just made it worse. But we hopped out and Gavin is like, you know, starts moosing this chick.
Angie
Trying to get her number.
Mike
Gavin was smoothing her like, should I get her number? And I'm like, I'm like, try.
Evan
She's like, what, for the accident? No, for later, baby.
Mike
So Gavin smooshing this chick and she's like, hold on, who am I exchanging information with here? This random guy that opt out or the guy that's actually driving?
Evan
Oh my gosh.
Mike
And then Gavin got a little jealous because then like we hopped back in the car and then Ken was back there and they were exchanging information and then Gavin was like, all right, what are we even doing here? And then he hopped out. Gavin hopped out.
Angie
He was mad.
Mike
And then he goes, yeah, he was pretty fired up. He goes up to the chick and goes, what are we even doing here? Your car is fine.
Angie
Yes.
Mike
Because Ken was getting her number. That's what it was. Yeah.
Evan
Wow.
Ken
Yeah, I love Vegas for that. Like, just treating everyone like their NPCs.
Angie
Yeah, everyone's just a meme.
Ken
Yeah, there's an NPC if they see what you're doing. Like they just see it and it's out their head the next second.
Angie
Hopefully in the big city you can do that.
Evan
Except for that one girl telling stories about this car that just threw in reverse, rammed into her, and Then eight guys.
Ken
Clown car. Believe it.
Mike
It was like a clown car.
Evan
Remember?
Mike
They were all film filmers.
Ryan
Apparently this one redneck was really sweaty.
Evan
Guy kept trying to get my number.
Mike
And then he came out, was just a total dick.
Ryan
Do you want to talk about one other little surprise, or is that saving for later?
Evan
The one that I had shipped up here? Yeah, no, that's a surprise for later.
Ryan
Okay.
Ken
Oh, I'm glad that you just said, like, said it like that, because I caught wind that you were having Ken ship something, and I'm like, I already know too much.
Angie
Is it a car?
Evan
Not.
Ryan
I'm not disclosing that.
Evan
Do you know what it is?
Ryan
I actually don't. They. The person I connected you with kept it a secret, so you're.
Evan
Good job, Archie.
Angie
So how big is it?
Ken
Not only will Ken not be disclosing it, he is unable to.
Ryan
I did ask for slightly more information, and I. I just decided, you know what? It's better if he just deals with this guy directly. So I'm. I'm disconnected.
Mike
You are really growing, Ken. You are really growing as a person.
Angie
Not spoiling video bits.
Mike
Yeah. A year ago, you couldn't have even helped yourself. Like, you couldn't have stopped yourself if you wanted to. Ken was the king of just ruining surprises. And look at you. The personal growth is actually crazy.
Ryan
You know, it's kind of just got to realize, you know, none of my business to be interfering in this, even.
Ken
After Ryan made it your business.
Angie
You know, one day you'll just wake up and realize, maybe I don't want to be a little weasel. Weasel, Weasel, rat, whatever you want to call yourself, buddy.
Mike
Yeah, Ken, that dude. Like, as soon as we were in my office talking about something, you look out, like, down the hallway, and you see Ken looking through his glass.
Ken
That's what's funny, is, like, he maybe spoiled some at some point, but then there's so many. We literally make jokes about how so many times he's out of the loop. So he's like, where do I stand? You know, where really do I stand? Do I tell people? Do I not? Do I act like I know when I really don't know?
Ryan
There's a fine line between a need to know basis and just a knowing basis. And that line is very fun.
Mike
It's very blurred on Ken's end. This dude doesn't know what we're doing ever.
Evan
It's.
Ken
It's such a funny feeling.
Mike
We got so used to not telling Ken or filling him in on any surprises. Well, in that Just true. All the information, the importance of that. Even on stuff, he's a part of everything. Yeah.
Ken
It's such a weird feeling when you like accidentally find out. Let's say you guys are planning a video bit completely around me. And if I like accidentally find out. Oh, you can't un. You can't put the toothpaste just back in the tube.
Angie
Imagine your job but not knowing what you are going to be doing the next day. Like imagine Ken's family eating dinner. Well, Ken, what do you got going on tomorrow? No clue.
Mike
Yeah.
Ken
Or like you're.
Evan
You're.
Angie
No clue. No clue.
Mike
That's how you'd say it.
Evan
You're not doing anything.
Ryan
I know what I'm doing from 88 till 11 30.
Angie
Beyond that, we're going to be doing something. I know that's for sure. I just don't know what we're gonna be doing.
Ryan
My suspicion, it is.
Mike
It is crazy. Like that is actually how we operate. The less you know, the better.
Ryan
To a point.
Evan
What point?
Ryan
Then there's just like straight up just not telling people anything. And it's just like, dude, that's one thing that be nice to know that then finding out after.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
But you find it out eventually.
Evan
Occasionally. Like I'll miss a meeting too and I'll hear about something. I'm like, wait, what we. Did we decide this?
Mike
Yeah. Things. Things happen fast.
Evan
They do.
Ken
There's pros and cons to it. But I like strive off of that feeling. I'm sure Sydney hates it, but it's like all you'd have to tell me is like we're going on a road trip. I know we have to plan and stuff like that. Or like whatever. We're. We're going to do something cool. What are you doing there? I don't know. But I'm excited.
Mike
Yeah. I mean if you don't need to know.
Ken
And you. That is excitement.
Mike
Best ever. It's like you're a little kid.
Ken
Yeah.
Mike
In your parents care and you know that they're just taking care of you.
Angie
Yeah. It's all going to be for your own good.
Ken
Right.
Angie
In one way or another. It might put you in a kind of weird situation at times, but in the long run, it's all for the greater good. It's like honestly, like the cheap car challenge. Like. Or even when Evan trolled me by getting that fake fight. I honestly felt really good about it at the end. I was like, wow, that was like. That was really exciting. Like I. I got got. I got got. Like it Felt good to be pranked. Like, I. I don't know. I don't get pranked very much. And with the cheap car challenge, like, I was mad when we'd get pranked, but deep down, it felt a little good.
Ken
Yeah.
Angie
I was like, man, like, this is kind of exciting. Like, I don't know. I didn't know that was going to happen. Like, you go to. To bed, you're like, man, I hope no one messed with our car tonight. No one mess with it. You go to bed the next night, man, I hope no one messed with our car tonight. You wake up, some shit just happened to you. Like, you're like, mad, but then you're like, oh, this is, like, also so exciting. Like, you know, like.
Mike
And then, you know, like, okay, now I get to get my revenge.
Angie
It gives you an opportunity now. Like, nice. Now it opens the floodgates.
Mike
That was pretty much the entire time someone would mess with us, and then Ken would just be like, what if we did this? Just something outland. Like, Ken was going aggressive on some of them.
Angie
Let's start their car on fire.
Mike
I think he might have said that at some point. I'm like. I'm like, oh, Ken. I forget that Ken, like, doesn't have the best touch on these situations where he's just.
Angie
He's getting.
Ryan
Normally I'm the one being pranked.
Evan
So he's like, all right, how do.
Mike
We get our revenge? What if we duct tape the throttle so as soon as they floor it, it gets stuck wide open?
Ryan
No, one of them. What? One of them was going to be steal the. The head unit out of the minivan, because you guys were obsessed with the.
Angie
Scene that would have been funny. Got in there and just kicked it and broke. Why did no one think of that?
Mike
We were gonna do it, but we. What we did in. In return, I was like, oh, they're gonna be so mad. The CD would actually put them over where it wouldn't be worth it, because then they wouldn't get over it. And in hindsight, they didn't. In hindsight, they didn't get over what we did. So we should have just done that as well, because then it would have been like the cherry on top.
Angie
Yeah, I mean, I had ideas of what I was going to do as well, but, I mean, you guys did it, and then, you know, anyway, you guys just have to watch video. I mean, we're hyping this shit up. It's still probably another two weeks out from the first episode of it airing.
Mike
But also this week we're not posting a video this week because we're editing the Cheap car challenge.
Angie
There's just so much footage that you wouldn't have time to edit in the normal time frame that we have.
Mike
And we have four editors. But so don't, don't act like we're like going light on it.
Ken
Like, what is the upside to that?
Mike
It's gonna be a banger. It's just gonna be better.
Ken
And they'll be how long?
Mike
I mean, yeah, like over an hour.
Ryan
I know. We were over 700 gigabytes of just raw footage.
Mike
It ended up about a terabyte because What?
Ryan
We had GoPro in every car. Sony. Sony camera in every car. And then how many other cameras do we have? Rolling.
Mike
So many, bro.
Evan
Do we want to talk about a little addition? Careful with your mic here.
Ryan
But I've been watching it.
Ken
Things pretty sturdy. I mean, I would love to talk about our little.
Angie
What's that thing weigh? Like 30 pounds? 20. That's probably.
Mike
It's probably 30. It's probably 30.
Angie
So that's a hand carved, hand chiseled, I should say marble sculpture. It's a Greek God. The Greek God Zeus, because he likes thunder. Is it thunder or lightning? And he's holding a lightning bolt.
Ken
He doesn't just like it, he controls it.
Angie
Yeah. And as you guys know, we use lightning bolts in a lot of our designs and stuff. And then he's holding a lifewide open sign and he's got some goggles on his head. And it was sent to us. That's actually just a miniature version one of the like 6 foot 4 life size 1 that was sent to us by our buddies Garrett, Clay and Mac, who help us with our merchandise. But yeah, we'd been working with them for like a year and they wanted to do something nice. But anyways, the real one weighs 2,600 pounds.
Ken
I got to double down on that over a ton. It's literally hand carved out of a giant marble brick. We have a literal Greek God statue in the pine bay.
Angie
We'll pop some pictures and stuff above it. But the thing was so heavy and we didn't know what it was. We had a shipment of our new muck boots that Ben is wearing right now. You guys can get a cboys TV dot com. They're freaking super, super awesome because, I mean, you can wear them winter, you can wear them in the spring. They're obviously water resistant and I mean, they're just super popular. There's tons of different brands of. Of muck boots, but we think ours are the best.
Ryan
Like, two years developing.
Angie
We did. We spent a lot of time developing them. So anyways, they were sent to us in a shipping container and they put their sculpture that they gifted us in the shipping container as well. And we're like, hey, we got a gift in there for you guys. You gotta, like, unwrap it. This and that. And we initially thought it was a sculpture of Ken. We thought they a statue of Ken. We're like, no freaking way. They had a statue made of Ken. And then we realized maybe that isn't Ken once we got to looking at a little closer.
Evan
But it is kind of Ken.
Ken
It does the beard closer to Ken than anyone else, I think.
Mike
Did you guys see the pictures of this thing as it came?
Ken
Yeah, that was really cool.
Mike
Like, when it was a straight up rock.
Ken
So of course we had a million questions. And he's like, yeah, there's a factory in China right next to the mountain.
Evan
Even really.
Ryan
Open air.
Evan
Yeah.
Ken
And they just chop blocks and then they bring them down to the dudes who just literally hand carve them. I still can't wrap my head around that.
Mike
Yeah. I would love to see, like, a time lapse.
Ken
Yeah. Of it that would be the most satisfying.
Evan
The little guys that make the. The houses on a mud and stuff. Time lapse videos.
Mike
I think that's fake, though.
Ken
Yeah. Well, yeah.
Evan
Really?
Mike
Yeah. I think it came out that that was fake.
Angie
They got exposed.
Mike
But no, I thought they had many excavators.
Ken
I've literally seen TikTok lives of a dude making bricks out of mud. It's pretty boring. But he's on TikTok live. So I was thinking, like, if you.
Mike
Guys should be on TikTok live.
Ken
Yeah.
Evan
They'd make bank.
Ken
They should. It's a commission where they sent them this design and then he just has to chisel it out. So it's like he probably just has work and more work and more work. So I'd love to get another statue.
Mike
It's actually insane, the level of detail that they can put into a marble stock.
Evan
Yeah.
Mike
It makes no sense to me. That's why, like, I feel like I gotta see it. It is so hard for me to wrap my mind around it not being, like, machine made.
Evan
I honestly, whenever I was like, it's.
Ryan
Marble, it's marble, it's real.
Evan
I was like, there's no way. Like, there's no way it's real.
Ken
I didn't even believe it either, because I.
Evan
You know, art, when you look at it in, like, the Freaking. I went to the place in New York where there's art. I think not at the Museum Smithsonian. Yes. There's. There's art stuff there, but you can't touch it in like ours, you know, you can walk right up to and touch it and like move stuff around. So it was like kind of cool to be.
Angie
The thing's going to outlive us. It's so solid and it weighs so much that you're not going to ever move it. One of our grandkids is going to be basically handed this thing and they're like, what do I do with this? You know, like moving it. And then where do you even put it? It's huge.
Ryan
Just trying to get that thing in place. We had seven guys and we were struggling. Yeah, that thing is heavy.
Angie
Kind of hurt my shoulder actually trying to move it. Dude.
Evan
My freaking grandpa was a hoarder. He built all these weird machines. He took all these good dirt bikes and made them useless and all these street bikes and made them dumb. Handed them down to me. And then now I gotta take care of this 2600 pound statue. Said it looks like one of his buddies.
Mike
Yeah.
Angie
Hopefully we can leave him off with like some good stuff. So that way it counters like. Yeah, I got the freaking. This giant statue. But it's. It's hopefully still cool.
Mike
But it's going to be this. And then the sign that's hanging up on the wall actually right behind us. Right here in between the two shipping containers.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
That just about going up.
Angie
Things not going anywhere. So speaking of of us moving that thing. Holy shit. Was that thing heavy. But we've been working out hard. I should say some of us have been working out hard. Kenjamin, I am so proud of you. You've been going ham and it's just cool to see how you feeling? Because I am sore, dude. Like, we've been seriously going hard in the gym for this 100 day challenge.
Ryan
After the workout we did last Friday, I. I like didn't start feeling good until like late yesterday and today.
Angie
Dude.
Evan
A week.
Angie
Yeah.
Mike
Yeah.
Ryan
I was rough.
Angie
Big Ken's hitting the hot tub every night. Like, I just hear the thing just open up. Ken just elegantly climbing in that thing. Pink PANTHER music starts playing.
Mike
You could go and get a massage.
Ryan
I did go to the chiropractor earlier.
Ken
This week and that helped thing right.
Ryan
Immensely.
Mike
Ken, I think you should go and get a rub and tug that is.
Angie
Out of left field.
Ken
But his face.
Angie
Would you do it, Ken?
Ryan
Yeah.
Angie
Yeah.
Ryan
Would you not?
Angie
Well, I Have a girlfriend. So. No, I wouldn't like. So if you were getting a massage and is by some Asian masseuse and she starts working her way down and starts grabbing your. Your junk, are you. What are you gonna do? Just nothing.
Ryan
I mean. Yeah, just see.
Angie
See where it goes.
Ryan
We can take this.
Ken
Yeah, but, like, that doesn't actually happen, though.
Angie
I think it does.
Mike
No, it does.
Angie
I know for a fact it does.
Ken
I thought that was just a fairy tale.
Ryan
No, we got a buddy that.
Angie
Plenty of friends who have stories like that.
Ryan
Well, he was saying it's like, there's, like, certain ones, and you gotta, like. Yeah, they don't all do a certain way. And.
Mike
Yeah, our 11 buddy called.
Evan
He's been a robin dog.
Mike
Yeah, I shouldn't say that. I shouldn't out what I should.
Evan
Wow. He's been there.
Mike
Yeah. He wanted to bring Ken when we were at his.
Angie
Can you say this?
Mike
Yeah.
Angie
Now you've just exposed it.
Evan
I'm gonna bleep all the things out of who it is, but I can't believe that.
Ryan
I know. Was saying he got one.
Evan
Oh, my God, another name.
Ryan
Just bleep that one too. But he was saying he got him in, like, Europe.
Mike
No, I think that's just called part of culture. Yeah.
Ryan
Okay.
Angie
That's just part of the culture. So back to the working out now, though, Ken. So the important stuff. Are you liking it? What. What's your thoughts? How are you feeling? Do you think you'll continue on after this challenge is done?
Ryan
Yeah, Yeah, I. I definitely feel like I am definitely, like, improving on where I started at, and I. I think, yeah, like, I'll. I'm gonna steal that snap card and continue going.
Angie
Are you. Are you starting to enjoy it a little bit?
Ryan
Yeah. Or it's not. Like, I'm just completely dead when we're done with it. Yeah, I'm finally, like, getting some better weights and all that, and it's like.
Mike
You are putting up way more weight, Ken.
Angie
Strong.
Mike
Yeah.
Angie
Strong like an ox, but it's like.
Ryan
I'm not, like, just completely dead like, the first couple times, whereas, like, I can just movie.
Angie
The thing is, is, like, the more you do it, you start to get more hooked on it, and I think you start to enjoy it more. And if you were to stop, you'll be like, dang, like, I want to get back in there. And when you hit that point, that's when you're, I think, in a really good spot, because then you'll get in there more and more and only see More and more benefits from it. But, I mean, I even read the comments, and people are Compton a lot about, like, man, Big Ken is really, like, slimmed down. Like, he's looking great. And it's true, man. It really is. So, I mean, it's. It's just. It's cool to see.
Ken
It's been fun. I think it's, like, just so awesome and will be really awesome to see us at the end and then hopefully we just continue that. But yeah, like, to your point, I never liked the gym. I still don't love it, but you'd like it more. The more you go, the more you like it. And then also, like, I ate, like, a lot of fried food, just, like, burgers and fries and this and that. My cholesterol was really high, actually, really high for how, like, not overweight I was. But when you get done working out, like, you don't want to eat burgers and fries. You want to eat, like, fruits and vegetables, because why would you want to, like. And some people work to offset that. That's fine too. But, like, yeah, it's just like, why would you want to eat like shit after you worked hard.
Evan
Yeah.
Ken
To offset that. Which seems really obvious. Like, it seems super obvious, but, like, it.
Aura
It's.
Ken
It's cool actually feeling that.
Angie
Yeah, you're feeling good. So you don't want to put in your body and not feel as good. That's the thing. Once you start, like, truly starting to feel better and better and better, it makes it harder to, like, eat, like, and, like, stay up super late or, you know, do things that make you feel like, because, like, you're just like, man, like, I felt so good and I was enjoying myself when I felt a lot better.
Mike
100 day challenge is going good, though.
Angie
I like, yeah, been going ham, man.
Ken
How many days do we have left?
Mike
I don't know. 50? We're probably. Probably about halfway through. Yeah.
Ryan
Right around half.
Mike
Yeah. Everyone's been hitting it pretty hard except for one guy, the short one. Yeah. I think Evan's prides himself on. On actually not stepping foot in a gym.
Ryan
His training regimen's about to start. Like, now all the snow is starting to melt and.
Ken
Right.
Ryan
Which finally get his dirt bike out there.
Ken
Yep. And if we ever get our dozer.
Mike
Back, what is the status of our dozer?
Evan
You know, I was wondering on that. I made the call and got all the stuff fixed. We did some aftermarket parts, some OEM parts.
Mike
So we bought a dozer for $20,000 from our buddy Rich, who Called me and was like, dude, this is my old Dozer. It's a great deal. You got to buy it. It just needs a little bit of work. And I was like, well, how much work? We talk. And he was like, a couple grand. And I was like, all right. I take your word. You wouldn't do us wrong.
Evan
We get it. The track is loosening up. We can't even really drive it because we were worried about it. So I'm like, all right. And I sent it to a local dealer because none of us know how to work on a Dozer. Neither do the wrenches. And to be fair, I told them, go through this and just tell me what needs to be done on it. I didn't say, you know, all right, give me the cheap fix. I wanted to know what was wrong with it so we don't have to pay 1200 bucks in another month to ship it back. Now, get it fixed. So they went through the entire undercarriage, the bad blades, all the leaking hydraulics, the missing parts, and basically came up with a bill that totals $43,570. 43 grand.
Ken
You hear a number like that, and you're like, don't tell me that on a $20,000 machine.
Evan
Well, there's no such thing as a free dog or a cheap Dozer, I guess. And so I went. I went through. And I mean, there was a lot of things that we didn't need, such as the rollover protection. It was nine grand. I guess we just can't roll the Dozer now. You know, stuff like that. But basically, what I got us down to. I don't have the. The final bill here, but it was more in, like, the 17,000.
Angie
Okay.
Evan
And that's a mix that's not putting new tracks on it, which they recommended, because if we put on the new tracks, you have to get new sprockets and do all these different things. So we got basically the bare minimum to make it work.
Mike
Well, there we go. That's all that matters.
Evan
So that's where our Dozer is.
Ken
It's still getting. I figured that, but.
Evan
But I have wondered. I'm like, huh? I hope that thing comes soon.
Ryan
I. I forgot. We've known that.
Ken
Pretty excited for it to dry up and get warm. It was 65 degrees today. We will be motoing soon, or off roading or whatever. The track's going to get some revamp. We have a Dozer. We have a skid steer. It's got a Harley rake. We just got, like, eight inches of snow. The Other day, so that kind of threw a loop. But how Minnesota springs are.
Mike
Yeah, it's pretty whack. We got more snow last week than we did all winter.
Ken
Yeah, Wet, heavy snow. Yeah, that's taking, like, too long to melt.
Angie
It's all melting today, though. I bet you the ice will be off the lake this weekend.
Evan
I was going to ask when you're going to go off.
Angie
Sunday, dude. I think Sunday.
Ryan
Let me check my ice report here.
Mike
We putting the jet skis in.
Ryan
We almost have to. So I did try and, like, walk out on the ice last weekend, and I made it about a foot and I fell. No, I made it one step and I fell right there.
Mike
What are you doing walking out on the ice?
Angie
I'll tell you what he was doing. He was breaking in his new bar at his boathouse.
Ryan
I. I wanted to go take a look at how it looked from the water, and I thought I could still walk out there, but I couldn't.
Mike
So what'd you do?
Evan
How deep it was?
Ryan
You know, ankle deep.
Mike
Oh, I felt.
Ken
Fell through.
Ryan
Yeah, I just made it one. Like my foot went down and just went straight through it.
Mike
So it was one step.
Evan
Maybe that was just snow and not ice.
Ken
He didn't know about the slush.
Mike
Nobody told Ken about the slush. I forgot about that meme. That.
Ken
That meme stems from just all of us filming outside in the mud snow slush. And we just wear, like, skate shoes and Janowski's and air force ones and dunks, and we just never learn.
Mike
Yeah, that's why you guys got to wear muck boots like I've been doing.
Ken
That is actually Ben was the first one to get those hook boots, the muck boots. And we love them. And they actually are very functional because if you're wearing them on a C boys TV film day or whatever you're doing, you're gonna be covered. As long as you're not knee deep in water, you're covered.
Mike
It's true. They're actually the best.
Ken
You can even do a kickflip in them.
Mike
If you can kickflip, I can't even skate. Well, Ken, you might be able to if you put these boots.
Evan
Are you wearing Janowski right now?
Ken
It's a lifestyle product.
Ryan
I love the slip ons. That slip ons are the best shoes you can buy.
Ken
You heard it here first.
Evan
There you go.
Angie
Okay, who wants to tie their shoes?
Ken
I used to have a pair of Velcro Janowski, so that was fun. People really roast you if you wear velcro shoes. For good reason, but I thought it was stylish.
Mike
That's a wrap.
Angie
All right, well, thanks, guys. Thank you for listening. We'll be back next week. Go to seaboestv.com pick yourself up some muk boots and we'll see you guys next week.
Ken
Peace.
