A few weeks ago, I was clearing out my cabinets and honestly, I was alarmed. I looked like a supplement graveyard. And honestly, it got me thinking about why nutrition has to be so complicated. Everything claims to be clean or all natural, but figuring out what to actually trust feels exhausting. That's honestly why I love Cachava. It simplifies everything. Hey, I'm Molly Sims.
A
And I'm Emisha Gormley. We're two girls obsessed with one thing. Beauty.
B
And by that, we mean everything that makes you look and feel beautif.
A
Calling on our favorite health experts, industry insiders, and friends to answer all your.
B
Beauty questions with a drink in hand.
A
Definitely with a drink in hand.
B
You're listening to Lipstick on the Rim. With Molly Sims. Happy 2026, everyone. I can't even believe I'm saying that.
A
I honestly feel like every year I go, okay, this is it. This is the year that I am like, I'm. I'm doing everything healthy. I'm eating right, I'm working out every day, I'm drinking more water, I'm drinking less alcohol. And then February rolls around and I'm like, I never really said that JK.
B
JK didn't want to drink for those 30 days. Did I really say that? But I do think it's a moment to hit reset, both mentally, physically, emotionally. I do. You do have that moment at the beginning of the year. Like, okay, let's go. I wanted to have this guest on because I met her a couple of years at my house. We were doing a collab wise beauty and sa and I got to spend time with her this summer. And what drew me to our incredible guest? Just her obsession with wellness. And I mean that in a really good way.
A
And you don't make people feel bad. You don't make you feel like you have to do everything. It's about finding what works for you.
B
Her name is Drea Murphy, and we are so happy to have you and.
C
So happy to be here.
B
We call her the Wellness Wellness Beauty Curator. She has an incredible newsletter. She does these incredible events in la, Miami, Hamptons, wherever, where she will put a group of women together, whether it's a brand or she'll curate. With 10, 15, it could be Aspen. But you have done an incredible job of kind of making this niche wellness platform available to people.
A
And when.
B
I mean that, you take these events and then you literally put it online through your Instagram, through your social, through your newsletter of what you do, how you do it, when you do it. But we love about Drea. To Emma's point, you're not all about extremes. It's not about doing everything. It's about doing what works for you. Simplifying wellness to help people actually find what makes people feel their best. And I think you have done an incredible job. So we're calling this episode New Year, New you, Reclaiming Wellness, Redesigning, Finding balance and building healthy habits that actually last. Okay. We love the way you look at wellness. We're going to start macro, really talk about how we can reframe the start of the new year. Because to your point, everything's. Everything is. We're going to start and then it all feels overwhelming. So how can we reset our mindset so that New Year, New you, doesn't turn into something unrealistic that none of us can do.
C
Well, I think that's the first. The problem. People, people don't set themselves up for success. They try to do it all and they make these unrealistic goals that really set you up for failure. So what I like to do in the new year is really make it a time to check in with myself and see what's working, what's not working, what can I add?
B
And how do you do that? Do you journal it? Do you make a list in your mind when you're in the shower? Do you're like, okay, on my calendar, on my, you know, diary, like, these are. These are the four things I'm going to focus on.
C
So I love to journal. I love to journal. I will meditate for 10 minutes and then journal for 10 minutes. I like to call it like a word dump. I'll set a timer. Sometimes I don't have a prompt and it's just just to write. And sometimes I just get it all out and it actually really helps me feel better. But I think in the new year, it's really important to be realistic with where you're at. For example, if you don't have a movement practice, don't commit to seven days a week. If you've never meditated before, don't commit to 20 day or 20 minutes twice a week. You are going to fail. You really are. You have to set yourself up with success. I'm very big on rituals and small rituals that ultimately will, you know, compound positively so you will feel better long term.
A
So start small.
C
Wait.
A
Start small.
C
Start small.
B
I want to get into the rituals, but I also want to kind of, um. There's a little bit of a myth that I wanted to talk to you about. A lot of people, yes. Think wellness is only for the elite or it's really expensive. What do you think about that?
C
Well, I think it comes back to what we were just talking about, how it's so overwhelming. I think wellness has been framed as a luxury product, so to speak. And if you really break it down, the most effective tools really don't cost anything. So walking outside, taking deep breaths, drinking water, moving your body, all of those things do not cost anything. But I also think it's important to, you know, want to invest in certain parts of your life. And investing in wellness when you are at a certain stage also can be really beneficial. And investing in, you know, experiences and specific products I think can go a long way.
A
I think a lot of people also say time is something they don't have. And I think that's a really like, big excuse.
B
It's always on my New Year's, I'm like, can I get more time?
A
But I think that that's, you know, one of those people will say, well, time is a luxury. I'm a mom, I have four kids, I work full time, I'm on a train at 6am and I think that that's something that if it's important to you, you can still carve it out and find the time.
C
Right? I mean, I truly believe that if you wake up and do one thing, just one thing to make you feel a little bit better, that is only going to, over time, really reframe your mindset and help you to, you know, kind of compound onto all of that. So you're gonna wanna do more and prioritize more. And I think those small steps is what makes all the difference.
B
What do you suggest women do? Is it Pilates? Is it weight training? Is it walking? What do you think?
C
So I don't think it's just one thing. And I think as women we really need to work with our hormones in terms of what we're doing on a specific week. Because I think for so long I just pushed my body to do these high intensity workouts almost every single day. Because I thought if I wasn't drenched with sweat, out of breath, it wasn't a workout. And that is absolutely not the case. You really have to meet not only your body, but your mind where you're at. And I think doing a combination is really, really the move and also like listening to your body. I think for so long I would just push through the exhaustion because I needed to work out. But really what my body needed was rest. Or really what my body needed was to go on a walk and not push and do another class.
B
Look at forward space this summer. I cannot tell you what this class has done for me. Kristin Sudeikis Rach like, it's like dancing in 1990 and going to church all at the same time.
C
And therapy.
A
And therapy. You feel like you're making friends as you're high fiving and skipping around the room.
B
I. And by the way, I was drenched.
C
Oh yeah, absolutely.
B
And I just came out of those classes and my husband Subaru was like, God, you really like that class. And I go, I do. I don't even know what I'm doing in there. I ended up taking Scarlet.
C
Well, it's finding something that you really enjoy and I think that's the key. And making like I feel so good after forward space. You know, my, my mood is completely lifted after Pilates. My body feels so great and I feel taller and aligned and I can move better. So I think finding those practices that really help you feel good mentally and.
B
Physically, how would you basically navigate your week if you wanted to move three to four times differently?
C
So I like to break it up between at least having one or two high impact cardio classes and then low impact Pilates and then a day of rest, maybe two days of rest, and I walk everywhere. So I really try to move as much as I can and incorporate that into my everyday life.
A
And what about strength training? A lot of, especially once you're in your 40s and 50s, that's like one of the things every doctor tells you is you really need to lift heavy weights. And that's something that scares a lot of women.
C
So I do a lot of my strength training through Reformer Pilates and that which is what we do, what works best for my body. It also makes me feel my best and look my best. So it's also, I think too with wellness, you know, you have to figure out what works best for you. It's not one size fits all. And I think people get very overwhelmed because there's so much out there and they want to, they think they need to do it all. And you really just need to find what works best for you.
A
I have a question. So I did a poll Pilates class recently and I was in so much physical pain. Like the next day I was like, not like bad pain, like my muscles.
B
I was like, oh, lactic acid.
A
That lactic acid. Would you recommend for people that are new And I work out regularly, so it's not. But this was just working different muscles that I hadn't worked. Would you say to those people that all of a sudden have, that they've, they haven't worked out? So it's January and I haven't worked out in six months. I go and I pound through this class and I'm sore the next day. Is it wiser to rest or to just power through and do another workout to kind of. I think that's a really big thing. So a lot of people are sore and they're like, ooh, I can't work out again. I don't want to like hurt myself.
C
Right. I think it's a combo. I don't think you need to just not work out for the next week. But I also, I also think a lot of that is recovery. So you need to make sure that you're getting enough protein that you're hydrating and that you are resting because you can't just go, go, go, go, go. You are. You will completely break and crash.
A
So would you take a day off and then pick up the next step?
C
Absolutely.
A
And then what would you say and.
C
Different type of workout.
A
Different type of workout. And what would you say are some things you could do at home if you are so sore?
C
To your point, laying on an infrared mat is incredible for recovery.
A
Is that like the higher dose thing?
C
Yes, but it's the mat. You don't need to get in it. So you can do it at any time. I have it under my bed. I pull it out, turn it on before bed in the morning.
B
And what does it do for you?
C
I mean, it really calms my nervous system down, which ultimately allows my body to relax. And it just puts me in that state of being able to recover faster.
B
I think for me, one of my New Year's resolutions, since we're at it, I just can't always be in like constant fight or flight. But I think for me, you know, we have so many different people coming to me and it's like the house can't be burning down at all time.
C
Absolutely. I want to go back to you saying your body was in fight or flight, or it is in fight or flight. You can go in and out. I want to talk about meditation just for a quick second because I have never meditated until this summer, I was the wellness girl that just couldn't. You know, I dabbled here and there, but I never committed to it. And this summer I committed to it. And when I tell you I didn't realize my baseline was fight or flight until I got out of it. It was life changing. I'm going to say life changing. And I think I want to talk about this because I think meditation can. The perspective is that it's hard, no one has time for it. Right. And I think you have to have that perspective that you are worthy of 10 minutes a day for yourself. And once figuring out that I was in fight or flight as my baseline and getting out was uncomfortable because I wasn't comfortable without the chaos and the busyness and go, go, go, go. That's not my body. My body was not used to that. So once it got calm, it was like, what's going on? What is this? And once I pushed through, it was a whole new world on the other side. And now I'm not saying I don't go in and out of fight or flight. Here and there. But getting through that part, you kind of understand what's on the other side. And I do. I do. This app called the Shift by Jamie Graber. And she has taught anyone big to meditate. Let me tell you off the record, I can tell you some names. But what I love about this app is it's very coaching forward and there's a variety. So it's very much accessible. And you know, she talks you through like why and how and then you go into it and then you're done. But you can do different courses. And I. It's been life changing.
B
It's an app.
C
It's an app called Shift.
B
Also Gabby Bernstein, who both are obsessed with. So I have her and they are friends and I'll do like the one minute, the two minute, the okay. If I'm really anxious or I'm stressed or I'm worried. She has different little one to two minute meditations that you kind of just brings you down and brings you focus.
A
I love my house Is no one but me in it. From the time I drop my kids off till about 1:30 in the afternoon. I love that.
C
Sacred time.
A
Sacred time. But here's my clincher. And I feel like there's a lot of listeners out there that probably feel the same way as I do. I am not zen enough to meditate in my head. I have tried. I have the hatch like alarm clock and it has meditations on it. Right. Or I should say guided meditations through the app. And I was laying in bed when I love it as an alarm clock. I truly was like my mind starts wandering.
C
Absolutely.
A
So what are some tips for people who are like that?
C
But that's normal. And that's me.
A
Okay.
C
That is me. And I think it's just committing to that 10 minutes. You can wander but then you come back, you know. And also what I like about the app is, you know, she speaks to you. There's music. You're not just in silence.
B
I think the silence is what we get so uncomfortable. Like what's going on, what's happening?
C
Right. Exactly.
B
My house is too quiet. Like something is very wrong.
C
But I think eight to 10 minutes is all you need. And just to drop in and it gets easier. And it's hard. It's hard in the beginning. Why am I doing this? You know? But of course, in true like drea fashion, I put on my red light at the same time because I gotta multitask.
A
Yeah. So let me just set the scene. It was one of those weeks where everything felt nonstop and I was craving an escape, but didn't have the time to actually go anywhere. Enter a Bowl and Branch. B
A few wellness myths or trends you think people should leave behind. We're gonna go past, we're gonna go back to 20, 25. What do you think we should leave behind?
C
I mean for me personally is high intensity, high impact workouts. They are just hurting our bodies, they're sparking our cortisol, they're making us more stressed fatigued. That is something that I am completely leaving behind. This is gonna be a little bit controversial and I mean, I don't think everyone should leave it behind. But coffee as I have my ice. I know, I know you guys. Wait, really? No.
B
Can I have one more sip? Last sip.
A
I mean, look, I only drink like one or two a day.
B
I drink one.
C
Okay, that's fine, that's fine. I'll let you guys have one.
A
And I only drink in the morning. I can't drink afternoon.
C
Great, so you guys are already on top of it. But Matcha has changed my life. And let me tell you, the Matcha.
B
You got at, where were we?
C
Carissa's.
B
At Carissa's. That was amazing.
C
Matcha. Amazing. But I've been drinking Matcha now for seven years. So before it was trendy and cool and I did this food allergy testing and I was shocked that coffee came back.
B
Really.
C
And it was. It just doesn't sit well with me. It spikes my anxiety, my digestion. It's also not good for your skin. All the things.
A
This is a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask it anyways. So Matcha has enough. Is it comparable in the caffeine?
C
Oh my gosh, yes. Or more. I mean, I can have too much matcha and I'm like, I can feel. The difference is it hits you at a more like easy pace. So it has l theanine, which like really like calms. Calms you at the same time. So there's no jitters. It also has a lot of antioxidants in it.
B
It's anti inflammatory.
C
Exactly.
A
I can take you a matcha.
C
Well, I gotta make you one.
B
Do you what's brands do you love?
C
Well, I make my matcha Americano style or olay, depending on where you go. And I just do a little bit of steamed almond milk or pistachio milk on top. I think right now everyone's drinking these craz lattes with all of this sugar. But that's how I drink mine because I have multiple a day and it just makes me so much happy.
B
Do you have a brand that you like for Matcha?
C
I love Matchaful. Matchaful in New York City is incredible. Female founded. They have a bunch of cafes and they do their own housemade almond milk, which I think is super important because so many of the milks have so much seed oil and gums and all of that. But I also put collagen peptides in my Matcha first thing. And I think that's really important to have a little bit of protein. I'm not a big breakfast eater. I eat on the later side of the morning. But putting that little bit of protein in really makes all the difference.
B
You put that into your matcha?
C
Absolutely. And it's not flavored, so you can't taste it. It's great. You guys should put that in your coffee though, so it doesn't spike. Your keto sauce. Cortisol, first thing.
A
So more debunking creatine, which I asked.
C
Oh, I love creatine.
A
So why should women take it?
C
So, and how should we take it? Yes. Okay. So I did a six month trial on Bajria.
B
She dre these challenges. Okay, you have to follow her, but.
C
She'Ll do it for. For like months on end. Well, we haven't Talked about the Biedria Wellness.
B
Oh, we were. We are going.
C
Okay. But that's what I, you know, I try and test everything before I recommend it. And so much buzz around creatine. And so I tried it for six months and really, you know, I didn't change anything else about my diet or my workout schedule. And I really noticed lean muscle. I'm like strong, but like, I didn't. I. I wasn't lifting heavy weights.
B
She's wearing a vest and her arms.
C
Look so much lean muscle. And it makes sense because creatine gives your muscles energy and it's.
B
More water. Do you have to do any? You don't have to do any?
C
No, absolutely not.
B
Always heard that it could give you kidney stones if you don't drink enough water.
C
No, I mean, you're having five grams, one scoop into what I say, Drea water, because I like to get it all in. So I put my colostrum and electrolytes all in one huge water bottle and that's it. I do the unflavored so you don't even taste it. And it also really helps with brain health. So think like focus, brain fog, mental clarity, all of those things.
B
We have none of those.
A
And how soon after taking it did you start to notice a difference?
C
About probably month two.
A
So you have to be consistent for at least two months to start to see a difference.
C
Any real supplement that's going to make a difference, you have to at least give it a month.
B
Consistency.
C
It's consistency.
B
Mouth tape gimmick or game changer?
C
Oh, gosh, game changer. I. You haven't tried it either yet. I brought you guys both dream recovery mouth tape because again, you have to be careful what mouth tape you actually put on your skin because. Hello.
B
Because the adhesive can.
C
The adhesive like where the ingredients where it's manufactured. There's a lot of crazy mouth tape out there that'll make you break out. I've tried them all. Mouth tape is game changing. And I didn't test it for so long because I thought it was such a gimmick. I was like, I'm not taping my mouth when I go to bed. But it regulates your nervous system in a way that I couldn't believe.
A
Will it help my husband stop snoring?
C
120%.
B
We're giving it to Mike. You know what I'm gonna do?
A
Is it creepy if I just tape him's mouth shut while he's sleeping? While he's sleeping, he won't even imagine he wakes up. He won't even know it.
B
He'll have like two glasses of red wine, we'll tape his mouth shut, he'll be fine.
C
I mean, my mom did that to my dad and now he does not snore.
B
Can't wait.
C
And the nasal breathing is really what helps. You know, you get more oxygen, but also let me tell you ladies, it helps with inflammation as well. And your jaw, you'll get a little bit more of a defined jaw snatched.
B
NAD plus peptides worth the hype or overkill.
C
I'm a little 5050 with NAD. I have been testing it. I don't notice that much of a difference, to be honest. I. With these things you have to get your blood work done and see what your levels are in certain things and then adjust their peptides. You know, I'm about to start glutathione peptides because of certain markers in my blood work.
B
I do an IV and I add the glutathione.
C
Yes. Love that.
B
Colostrum and electrolytes.
C
Oh, we know. I love a colostrum and I love an electrolyte that's part of drea water. No, but colostrum I found again, I did a major test and the reason I started it was because of bloating. And it also really helps your gut lining. But also it's actually really great for immunity and that's what people don't realize. A lot of my friends give their kids colostrum and they bounce back from strep or any sort of.
A
Does it taste like anything?
C
No. You can get to unflavored.
B
You can take it.
C
Oh, absolutely.
A
Oh, I didn't know that.
B
Do you have a brand?
C
I mean armor is great. Yeah.
A
What about lymphatic drainage and ice rolling? Nice to have or actually effective.
C
So I'm a little bit in between, I think. Of course they're nice to have and I do think they're effective, you know, but they're an add on, right? I mean, I think it's a luxury to get a lymphatic drainage massage. I think there's a time and place for it, especially if you're feeling super inflamed or you've been flying a lot to get all that water retention. I love to dry brush and that's an easy, easy, not expensive way to get the benefits of lymphatic drainage.
B
And you do it in the shower, do you before the shower?
C
I do it before the shower. Also, hot tip. I do it before I go out sometimes if I want to wake my body up. If I need to get motivated, I will do a shot of vitamin C and glutathione, the lipospheric and a little shot glass and I'll dry brush because that just gets everything going.
A
I also love doing this in the shower in the morning.
B
Oh, absolutely.
A
It's like that you're taking your two, four, your two fingers, your middle finger and your index.
C
Yeah.
A
And you just do this and then that. That actually helps me so much from.
B
From wise. Or I'll do like a, like a gua Sha tool.
C
Like I love a gua.
B
Totally believe in that. Infrared saunas and cold plunges. Wellness must. Or just another aesthetic trend?
C
Definitely. Infrared sauna. There's so much data behind how much it does for the body. I think cold plunges again. As women, we need to figure out where we are in our cycle when we do a cold plunge.
A
I just heard recently that cold plunges are not, not beneficial for women. They actually can do more harm than good.
C
So that's true. But it depends.
A
I didn't read the article.
C
So that's.
A
Headline just grabbed me and I was like, all right, moving on, don't have time.
B
No, I just got a cold plunge.
C
No, actually I was talking to Gwyneth Paltrow about this. There was a retreat upstate and someone said that and she was like, no, no, it's actually okay for you. And I was like, you're right because it's where you are in your cycle. So if you're, you know, during ovulation, you can like push yourself and do high intensity workouts. You have a lot of energy. So then if you're in your luteal phase, you should not be because that's when you need a lot more rest and your body is a little.
A
If you're drying up and old, it doesn't really matter when you're in your luteal phase.
B
Gut health supplements, probiotics. What works and what's a waste of money?
C
I'm not the biggest supplement over overuser. I think a probiotic is great, but again, it depends on your specific body. I've had Sibo in the past and so probiotic is not good for your gut. So it just depends.
A
Starting the year with a wardrobe refresh. Quince has you so covered they make luxe essentials that feel effortless, look polished, and honestly just make getting dressed so much easier. Their soft Mongolian cashmere sweaters feel like true designer pieces without the markup. Their 100 silk tops and skirts make getting dressed up so simple. And the denim perfectly cut, super flattering and holds its shape. And don't even get me started on their Italian wool coats. They're beautifully tailored, soft, structured and built to last years. You can genuinely see the quality in the stitching, the fit, the fabric, fabrics. I have been living in my Quinn's cashmere crew neck lately. Soft, warm, zero pilling and it looks brand new even after constant wear. And for home I picked up their waffle bath towels and a packing cube set for travel. The towels feel spa level and the cubes have somehow made me a more organized person. Go to quince.comlipstick for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's Q U I-N-C-E.com lipstick lipstick to get free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com lipstick I have been really intentional lately about getting more fiber and protein into my everyday meals and honestly the easiest change I've made is swapping in herobread. It's such a simple upgrade to my usual bagel sandwiches, avocado toast, tacos, even our Taco Tuesday and burger night rituals. Little shifts like that actually help me hit my goals without feeling like I've given something up. Herobread is soft, fluffy and genuinely delicious. Their bagels are amazing. I've been loving them for breakfast because they have 19 grams of protein and still taste like the real deal. Most products have 0 to 5 gram net carbs per serving, 0 grams of sugar and they're high in fiber which makes fitting things into my macros so much easier. They have got everything sliced bread, tortillas, buns, bagels, plus these small batch drops people go crazy for. I am eyeing the Hero buttermilk biscuit with 1 gram net carbs and 2 grams net carb. Hero Croissant HeroBred is offering 10% off your order. Go to Hero Co and use lipstick at checkout. That's lipstickHeroh E R O CO. This week on Lipstick on the Rim we sat down with the one and only Rachel Zoe and wow. This episode is a ride. We talked about everything. Motherhood, divorce, finding herself again, joining Real Housewives literally overnight. And then she said this. Can I tell you a true story in Covid? In the darkness of COVID I had a cat eye every single day where nobody saw me. Not one soul. And when I had Covid, not even my ex husband saw me or my children. And you know what I did? I went into my bathroom, I did a black liquid liner put on lashes, black liner in the waterline, a full lip, did my hair, and sat in my bed. And that is what I did. And I looked at myself and I said, you are not a well person. I said, are you fucking okay? You have 104 fever. You are like. You are like contagion right now. If you love fashion, beauty, or Bravo, this Rachel Zoe episode is a must.
B
Must.
A
It's out now.
B
Okay, so let's talk about By Drea, your wellness website. And also, you've got to tell everybody about the duria water.
A
Yeah. What is Drea water and what does it taste like?
C
Okay, so let me take you through By Drea first. So I wanted a place to share everything that I've tested, tried, and recommend it to people. I wanted it to, you know, really a place to cut through the noise of what's worth your time and money. And I wanted this off of Instagram. Nothing is sponsored and a place to really, like, bring community together. So we do that with the Vajra Wellness Club, and we do that through content, we do that through events, we do that through products, perk, program, group chat. It's really about creating community within the wellness industry and also, you know, give.
B
You, like, a wellness coach.
C
Yes, absolutely. And, you know, finding balance. You know, I feel like we haven't talked about balance enough because everything in wellness is so extreme. And I think more people need to think it's okay to go to Pilates, do your meditation, and then have a martini at the end of the week. You know, that is okay. They both can, you know, live.
B
Live.
A
Totally. It's funny, I went to my doctor and we were talking about drinking, and she was asking me, you know, how much do you drink? And da, da. And she was tan, Dr. Simpkins. And she was tan, and she was wearing, like, a neon scrub, like bright neon. And she looked at me and she goes, we don't live in Attica, which is like a really, like, maximum security prison in upstate New York. She's like, we don't live in Attica. We can, you know, not pick your poison. But, like, you can't say, I'm not never gonna tan. I'm never gonna drink. Like, that's not.
C
That's about balance. It's really about balance. I think more people need to be talking about that. And I think with. With the Baidria Wellness Club, we create that. I think one of the members once called me her wellness fairy godmother, which made me laugh. But it also kind of sums it up because I. I try it all. So you guys don't have to. And you can just focus and create little moments of self care. It's really about creating a place where you feel healthier and happier. And a lot of that comes from the community as well.
A
You're doing the Lord's work.
B
You're doing the Lord's work.
A
I'm doing the work.
B
And it is like a little mini village. I mean, I love it because you get women saying, okay, I was going through this. This is what I took. And then she'll go, like, okay, I'll try that. And you know, answering each other's questions and helping one another. Which is the event that you sponsored for hers, which so incredible with Dr. Shepherd. I loved it. She had such a unique group of women, and everyone was asking questions, and it was just like nothing was off limits. And it was so opening and honest and really a little bit of almost therapy, in a way.
A
I do the same thing. Testing products at Bergdorf and trying clothes on and shoes and bags.
B
Exactly.
A
I do the same. Exactly.
C
Same.
A
Same, but different.
B
Drea water. Walk us through it.
C
Okay. Drea water. So really I just made it up because of efficiency. And I think a lot of people are like, oh, I'm not gonna take this and that. It seems too much. So I just broke it down into one drink, and it is colostrum, electrolytes and creatine.
B
Which colostrum do you like?
C
Do that. You can do that? I can absolutely do that.
A
And it doesn't taste like anything.
C
No. So I do the unflavored armor of Colostrum.
B
That's what I do.
C
And then I do the unflavored creatine by Momentous.
B
I use the one by Thorne.
C
Yeah, that's another great one. And then I do superior electrolytes.
A
Love.
B
And so will you talk about this electrolyte company? I'm not getting paid. I got it from.
C
Neither am I. Andrea and.
B
And Kristin Sudeikis.
C
Who I gave it to Kristen.
B
It's so good.
C
She loves it as well.
A
I want to write this down. Unflavored armor, Colostrum, Superior electrolytes. And what was the creatine?
C
Momentous.
A
Momentous. From Thorn.
C
Okay, so superior electrolytes, small brand out of the Hamptons that I discovered.
B
Oh, they're from the Hamptons. Oh, really?
C
Through Organic Edge, if you've ever been there in Watermill.
B
Oh, yes.
C
The best clonics. Shannon. Hi, Shannon. You're the best.
A
Hi, Shannon.
C
And you know, not all electrolytes are created equal. And I found that testing all of these different products. Everything had monk fruit or stevia in it. And monk fruit or sugar? Well, yes, absolutely. Or sugar. But monk fruit absolutely bloats me. And it was really hard to find one that didn't have monk fruit. And I came across superior and I was blown away by the ingredients and by, you know, how committed they were to what was in it. So there's no synthetics. They used three plant extracts and it tastes great. And you need electrolytes to like absorb the water that you're drinking. Otherwise tmi, you just pee it out.
A
You just said something before when you were talking about the spot in Watermill. You mentioned colonics.
C
Yes.
A
Do you believe in them? Because there's a lot of controversy about colonics. They can mess with your gut health. GI doctors will tell you to stay away from it.
C
So everything I recommend is based on my experience. And colonics have been a game changer for my gut health health. And you know, that's. So I stand by that. I was dealing with a lot of gut problems and I did the antibiotics, then I did the holistic, then I did the doc, the diet. And I just wasn't. I also wasn't living. You know, I remember one summer I didn't have a sip of and I was like, this isn't worth it. You know, this isn't worth it. And then I found Shannon organic edge and she is so knowledgeable. It's insane. And a lot of people aren't. You have to be really careful who you go to because you don't actually have to be certified in hydrotherapy.
A
The one time I did it, I will say I felt obviously lighter.
C
Yeah.
A
But I didn't feel like I believe in them.
B
I don't believe in them all the time. I believe in them. With the change of seasons, once, twice a year. I haven't done one in a couple of years. But I do feel like it's a tool.
C
It's a tool that can help you.
B
Psyllium husk is also something that's like a toothbrush, your intestines, just bringing out all the stuff from the lining of your colon. I do believe in it. And also for anti inflammatory, we want.
A
To go through your wellness toolkit.
C
Okay.
A
Which can be small changes that make a big impact. So it doesn't have to be something overwhelming. If someone's listening right now and they're thinking, okay, this is my year, I want to feel better. But I don't know where to start. What's your advice?
C
My advice is similar to what we kind of Spoke about in the beginning. My advice would be to start small and really set yourself up up for success. So it depends on what your goals are.
B
Identifying that's one of the first step is like what do you want to do?
C
Absolutely. What do you want to do? How do you want to feel? Do you, you know, want to create more muscle? Do you want to get more clarity? Do you want to, you know, work on your self worth? I mean I think those all, you know, internal and really help and really help to define them and write them down. I think that's like number one top.
B
Three daily habits that has made a huge difference in how you feel.
C
Meditation. Absolutely. My morning routine has completely changed how I move in the world and it's now such a non negotiable that I will wake up earlier to do it when I have a flight or when I'm going to an 8am class. Which means it's really beneficial to me because I am not a morning person. So having that time to really enjoy my matcha for a couple moments I think is really important before you go on to the chaos. Meditating for 8 to 10 minutes and honestly moving my body and sometimes that is just doing a sanity walk like I like to call it a sanity walk with my dog in the morning. It doesn't have to be this crazy class or hours of, you know, working out. It's just that movement.
B
What's something you've stopped doing that has improved your well being?
A
Mm.
C
I've stopped doing high intensity crazy workouts. I've stopped drinking coffee. I. I also stopped doing pea protein. That just, just doesn't sit well with me.
B
Makes you bloated.
C
Yes, absolutely.
A
So let's break it down by goal for energy and focus. What should women prioritize?
C
Energy and focus. I mean it goes back to a lot of what we've already been kind of talking about. I think for you know, to talk about drea water again like it kind of brings together all of those things, right? Your brain fog, your gut health. Gut health, your muscle energy and hydration. Because all of those things really work hand in hand and you need them all to kind of feel your best.
B
End of the day routine sleep.
C
So I always take magnesium citrate.
A
Citrate, not glycitrate. You do citrate?
B
I do glycinate.
A
I do glycinate as well. What's the difference?
C
This one really helps everything move, move, if you know what I mean. I also love to do my Lima laser at night if I have time and Lay on my infrared mat.
B
And by the way, that takes 2 minutes and 10 minutes exactly. You can do at the same time. I use infrared light for. I mean, I literally. Sometimes I'll just do it for three minutes and sometimes I'll do it for 10 minutes.
C
But I also really like to stack these, so that doesn't take a lot of time. I think that's important to multitask some of these, but those are my non negotiables for bedtime. And mouth tape. And mouth tape.
B
We thought it would be fun to get to know you just a little bit better with a quick game. Wellness confessions. One wellness trend you secretly can't stand.
C
Oh, face tape.
B
I just.
C
It's enough, you know, one thing you.
A
Do daily that's not wellness approved.
C
Daily that's not wellness approved. I mean, I am a sucker for like, gummy candy. I really am. I mean, I know alcohol is not approved, but like, you know, drink in hand, right?
A
Yeah.
B
The products you buy over and over again.
C
Ooh, symbiomes. The answer serum. I call it my Botox in a bottle.
A
One thing you think people completely overcomplicate wellness.
C
They completely overcomplicate wellness.
B
Your guilty pleasure.
A
Wellness habit.
C
Ooh. I mean, I love a sauna. An infrared sauna. Taking time to just do that for 45 minutes.
A
One thing that you tried that actually shocked you when it worked.
C
Meditation.
B
A wellness trend you want to try, but you haven't yet.
C
The salmon sperm facial.
B
I want to do that too. I also want to do the. Where they put, like, I don't know, I can't remember. Underneath, there's something that.
C
Yeah.
A
Megan Rosenblum just did the salmon sperm with Leca and she sent me a picture of her skin, and I have never seen her skin look better. I'm actually gonna pull it up. She was like, look at my skin.
B
By Drea. It's a wellness club. You have a membership model. I talked to you about this in the Hamptons. I'm like, how could it only be $35 a month? You put so much thought and effort and it's so produced anyway. It's such a. It gives such a insight. What kinds of things do member get access to monthly?
C
Everyone gets a bijri approved product. We get weekly content and then we do monthly programming virtually. So we either do a masterclass or ask an expert. And this is almost like a mini intimate podcast for members that they get to ask questions and get them answered live by me. And then they can watch it anytime through the membership portal.
B
And you do summits at different times of the month and all over Aspen.
C
Quarterly events in LA and New York for sure. But then we always do tons of pop up events in Aspen, Miami, Hamptons especially.
B
Let's talk beauty.
C
Yes.
B
Favorite foundation.
C
Ooh, right now I'm loving Victoria Beckham's new foundation. I told you, it's really good.
B
Favorite masculine mascara.
C
Sarah Creel.
B
She loves the Sarah Creel. I love the Victoria Beckham. You've got me on the Victoria Beckham. And I love the Gucci West.
A
And I've been using the Kosas lately. That's what I've been using. I'm on like the third or fourth tube of that one.
C
Okay.
A
Soul Gazer. It's got a lash serum in it as well. So you're actually growing your lashes. Oh, it's good for sensitive eyes.
C
Okay.
B
Brow.
A
Brow.
C
Jones Road. I like their brow.
A
You have a good pink like matte nudie lip color on.
C
It's say, oh, love, love, love. I love the lip liner.
A
And what about a blush?
C
A blush. I actually like the goop beauty blush.
A
Because their beauty blur bomb or whatever it is.
C
Yeah. Because the texture, I love things that are just an extension of your skincare.
A
Yeah, I love that.
B
Well, I'm gonna try that. What advice can you give women? Whether it's they haven't found the one, they can't get pregnant, they've lost their job, they're just kids have gone away, they still want to be relevant. Like, what are some of the tools that you can help women? Because I think a lot of women, they get stuck.
C
You know, I think, I mean, one of the tools that I feel so lucky to have is therapy. And I think it's such a luxury and I think it's something really worth investing in because to have someone you can speak to that is, that is their job, to listen and give you other tools to help you get through something. I think that works wonders for me because I don't feel like I'm putting it on anyone else. I think a lot of people pleasing tendencies. And so I don't always feel comfortable kind of asking for help. And so I think a lot of also women, other women suffer with that. And I think a therapist is a great way to, you know, be able to still get that vent out. I think someone recently was just like, just said this to me and it's so true and it's so simple, but it's like we're all where we're meant to be. And I think repeating that type of mantra, whether it's writing it down or saying it before you go to bed or first thing in the morning. And also really leaning on your community. I think everyone else is feeling it too, you know, and I think you're not alone. And I think that's always helpful to know. You know, even listening to your most recent podcast about finding love at any age or whatever it was called, I mean, I needed to hear that, you know, and so I think it's like reminding other women that it's gonna be okay. And again, it's gonna be okay.
A
It's gonna be better than okay. It's gonna be great.
B
It's gonna be better than okay.
C
Yeah.
B
We always ask every guest before they go, what advice would you give your 10 year old self? Oh, little Drea.
C
Little Drea. To believe in yourself and to be confident and know your self worth.
B
You're amazing. I loved. Yeah, I just, I've loved get and getting to know you.
C
I mean, same. You're so inspiring to me and I feel so privileged to be here.
B
Well, I just love that you're like, I'm gonna do this. I'm trying this. I'm doing this 70 day challenge.
C
I'm like, what is happening right now?
B
And why are you drinking coffee? No, but I love it. I love when, you know, you're so invested. And I think that's what's so you're invested with your sister, you're invested with your company, you're invested, you're really invested in yourself. You know, she said to me this summer, like, I'm trying to improve myself every day. And I thought that was so, you know, inspiring for women because that's what we're doing every day. We're trying to do better than we did the day before.
C
Right.
B
I'm trying to look better than we did the day before.
C
Exactly.
A
And this is gonna be the year we do it all.
C
Absolutely.
B
This is gonna be new year.
A
And if we don't do it all year, we do what we can. And I think that's the important takeaway I have is I'm gonna do what I can and not meet your friends and start habits that I turn things into habits.
C
Yeah. Small rituals.
A
Small rituals. Small rituals. Becoming Dria.
C
Water.
A
I'm gonna start with my drea water.
B
Start with your drea water.
C
Perfect.
B
I made a list of things over Christmas and the holidays that I, I don't know, I started in November, kind of. I actually started in September. I don't know, I was like, I write a lot of things down. I haven't always written down what I want to do and want to make that change, but I have a little notebook and it has like an ongoing list of what I want to do and be in 2026.
C
And we have to give each other ourselves, grace. We have to give ourselves grace. I think especially with the new year, it puts so much pressure on you to like change your entire well being and, and reinvent yourself. And that's not what it's about. It's really about meeting yourself where you're at.
B
You're amazing. We love you. Make sure and follow.
A
Can we to hang in New York?
B
We get to hang in New York.
C
Do a workout and then martinis.
A
I mean, that sounds.
B
I do margaritas, but I'll do whatever.
C
Margaritas. We'll just do, do both. I do both.
A
We'll need a lot of drea water in the morning. Exactly.
B
And again, just before we leave. Try not to put so much pressure. Yeah, the January pressure is real. Try not to make your list. Check it off. Be consistent. Set yourself up for success and be kind to yourself.
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
