Welcome to Lockdown Trivia, the "unlock your brain" podcast quiz show. My name is Dalton McGhiey and I'll be your host as we choose four of your own expert categories and explore them together as we try to unlock the trivia game one key at a time. Build streaks of correct answers to get the keys you need to open harder and harder questions. You can play solo, with a friend cooperatively, or against a friend competitively; there's something for every kind of player on Lockdown Trivia.
At the end of each episode, I will discuss the writing and research that went into each episode to figure out best practices and workshop how best to write trivia both in the podcast environment and in the pub trivia environment.
New episodes will come out every Wednesday morning to help you get through the middle of your week. You can sign-up to play Lockdown Trivia with the link in the description of each episode. I can't wait to have you on the show and I can't wait for you to listen to the show as we work together to try to "unlock your brain" one key at a time. What are you waiting for? Come sign up and let's play some trivia!

After all, trivia is more fun when beer money is involved!Rules:Players see a board in front of them with four categories and five questions of increasing difficulty in each category. The first question in each category is unlocked, but the subsequent questions require one, two, three, and four keys respectively to open. Players earn keys by answering consecutive questions correctly. If a player misses a question, I will take all of their keys. Players can only open questions for which they have a sufficient number of keys. If a player is in a pinch, they have five bonus questions available to them that can not break a streak or hurt them, but will give them an extra key each if they answer them correctly.
