The San Francisco Giants dropped their fifth consecutive game today after falling to the Tampa Bay Rays 5-1 at Tropicana Field. Landen Roupp didn't have his usual dominant stuff tonight as he was chased from his start after giving up four runs in just 4.1 innings of work. But the real issue today was, again, the San Francisco Giants' offense and their ability to produce extra-base hits. While they were able to collect seven hits tonight, it only resulted in one run. The same issues that have plagued this team all season long continue to rear their heads, and they don't seem to be getting any better.
