GIANTS POSTCAST: OFFENSIVE INEPTITUDE Plagues Giants, Leads to Another Series Loss

The San Francisco Giants fell to the Kansas City Royals today, 3-2, as the offense severely lacked any type of spark and failed to generate any real scoring chances late in the loss. Tyler Mahle was pretty good through the first five innings, but lost control in the sixth, putting two runners on before being pulled for Sean Hentges, who was equally as ineffective in the inning and allowed the two runs to score. The mediocre pitching and lack of clutch hitting that have plagued this team all season long reared its ugly head again today, and we will undoubtedly see this many times again before the conclusion of this hellish season.
