A pair of HR's and a pair of RBI singles from Carson Benge helped the New York Mets snap their five game losing streak and defeat the Cincinnati Reds, 4-2.

Juan Soto and Eric Wagaman each went yard in their first plate appearances to give the Mets an early 2-0 lead. Carson Benge added some much need insurance in both the 5th and 7th innings to keep the Mets in front by two.

Devin Williams made it more difficult than it had to be, but had a bounce back outing and secured the save.
