It wasn't pretty, but the New York Mets secured their first series win of 2026 courtesy of a Luis Robert walk-off three run home run.

On what was a cold and windy day in Queens, pitching was the story early and late. Both David Peterson for the Mets and Mitch Keller for the Pirates found their grooves early and it was a tough day for the lineups.

The Pirates were able to strike first in the 10th, but the Mets put together a rally to tie it in the bottom half of the frame. But, with the bases loaded and no outs, were unable to get the winning run across.

Down 2-1 in the 11th after Pittsburgh scratched out a run, Jorge Polanco draw his three straight walk and it was Luis Robert serving up his first home run as a Met to deliever the walk-off win.

Now, they'll go for the sweep tomorrow with Nolan McLean on the mound as he starts his Rookie of the Year campaign.
