Nolan McLean was perfect through the first five, and the New York Mets broke out with the bats in a 10-3 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Ace-type starters are supposed to be able to stop losing streaks in their tracks and that is exactly what Nolan McLean did tonight for the Mets. Perfect through the first five, McLean allowed just one hit over his 5 plus innings a work.

Offensively, it was a break out performance for the team and a bunch of individuals. A 15 hit night saw multi hit performances from Francisco Lindor, Bo Bichette, Mark Vientos, Marcus Semien and Francisco Alvarez, who had a two home-run night.

The only bad new coming out of this one was Juan Soto leaving the game with right calf-tightness after running the bases in the top of the first.

They'll look to keep this momentum rolling tomorrow night, with Clay Holmes on the mound.
