Jumping out to a 5-0 lead over the first two innings, the New York Mets saw that lead evaporate as they fell to the Washington Nationals, 9-6.

Bo Bichette was at the center of things in the first two innings, hitting two 2-run HR's to account for 4 of the Mets five runs.

But that lead was short lived. A combination of some rough defense and a tough outing from Nolan McLean saw the Nationals score the next nine runs to go in front for good.
