The Pittsburgh Steelers have been waiting on Aaron Rodgers and the veteran quarterback was in town this weekend, presumably to sign his contract and join the team. Even if that is the case, adding Rodgers isn't enough for the Steelers to be title contenders, even if they have a strong roster. The New York Jets gave a big deal to running back Breece Hall and while paying a running back big money as a bad team is rarely advisable, the Jets are in a unique situation that makes is wise for them to do so. Finally, the Arizona Cardinals have reportedly informed Jacoby Brissett he will be their starter in 2026, but he is still holding out and the Cardinals allowing themselves to be treated like this by a talent like Brissett is too comical to ignore. Setting up another wasted year for the Cardinals.
