The Los Angeles Rams had a shaky NFL Draft, starting with the selection of quarterback Ty Simpson, but they still should be Super Bowl favorites. The reigning champion Seattle Seahawks could make an argument, but with the change at offensive coordinator, they sit behind their division rival. In fact, the Denver Broncos look like a complete roster, there is uncertainty about Bo Nix's health, but he is expected to recover in plenty of time to be ready for the season. If that is the case, the Broncos have to have a say in the Top 3. The Houston Texans should be next up. They have the potential to be a sleeping giant in the AFC. After an embarrassing end in 2025, the Texans, with an improved CJ Stroud, could put it all together for a deep run. It has been an offseason of change for the Buffalo Bills, but Josh Allen is so good it is hard to count them out. At some point, the New England Patriots have to be mentioned after getting to the Super Bowl last year and any conversation have to include the expected approval of AJ Brown, but Mike Vrabel's continuing drama casts some doubts when you consider their potential.
