The New England Patriots are coming off a fantastic Super Bowl run, but in an offseason that should be all about taking the next step, it feels like Mike Vrabel's personal drama has set the team back. Not only is this a massive distraction, but it stains the mystique around Vrabel that has buoyed him for so long. The Buffalo Bills made major changes this offseason, not only to their leadership group, but to the way they build their roster. This will either lead to a major improvement or a massive step back for a team that can't afford the latter. The New York Jets have taken a lot of steps to become a better team this year and while their ceiling still isn't very high, they certainly do seem to be improved and that would not jeopardize their ability to get their next quarterback. Finally, the Miami Dolphins are going to look different soon, but there will be a transition period and it may lead to few wins in 2026.
