The San Francisco 49ers had an excellent season last year and then followed that up with an uncertain offseason. While they remain a good roster with good coaching, something in the Bay Area doesn't feel right and it could be a sign that the 49ers are due for a falloff that will lose someone their job. The Arizona Cardinals are trying to get back up, but choosing the roll with Jacoby Brissett won't inspire anyone. That's why the Cards bet on Carson Beck as an option and he will 100% see a few starts this season. He may not play well, but at least there is some hope. The Los Angeles Rams made a surprising pick with Ty Simpson, but they are still favorites not only for the division, but the Super Bowl. Finally, the actual champion Seattle Seahawks didn't have a buzz-worthy offseason and lost key pieces, but they are still champs and an excellent team. They cannot be counted out, but that doesn't mean it is likely they repeat that success.
