The San Francisco 49ers have needs, but their roster is in a good place for them to consider a trade down or trade up. They could be in a prime position to let a team come up for Ty Simpson to be the second quarterback off the board or move up themselves to get an offensive tackle of the future. Both are logical paths. The Houston Texans could also be a team that considers a move down as interior offensive line and interior defensive line should have depth in early Day 2. The Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs get a chance to double up with their second first rounder and both teams should be considering similar pairings with the two picks. Finally, both the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks should have good options to get what they need on the offensive line or in the secondary, respectively.
