The Seattle Seahawks had two massive extensions they needed to get done this offseason and the first was knocked off the list when they gave wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba $40 million a year on Monday. This was an expensive extension, but one that needed to happen and the Seahawks were smart to get this done as soon as they possibly could. Now, they move on the cornerback Devon Witherspoon. The Los Angeles Rams were certainly affected by their division mate as Puka Nacua will be the next big-name wideout needing an extension and we should expect one before Week 1. The San Francisco 49ers don't have a young wideout worth that kind of money on the team right now so they went out and got two veterans in Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, but that was a smart move by them considering the circumstances. Finally, the Arizona Cardinals have some good young weapons, but still seem to be behind schedule for what their roster shows somehow.
