
The Nashville Predators' playoff race has ended. A 3-2 loss to the Sharks and a 5-3 Los Angeles Kings win over the Seattle Kraken puts LA in and Nashville out. The Predators started slow and couldn't get going, suffering their first loss to San Jose since 2019. Ryan O'Reilly said the Predators "got what they deserved," while Roman Josi said the team "needed a miracle." Despite all of this, there is still one more game left in the season against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday. With no playoffs, the offseason is nearing closer with questions of draft picks, the new GM and Andrew Brunette's future with the team.
