It's never too early to talk about the offseason! With the regular season coming to a close in a little less than a month, the Predators are preparing for a new general manager to take the reins of the team into the offseason. A new general manager will be tasked with fixing the defense, working with 12 picks in the 2026 NHL Draft, and determining who deserves extensions. Erik Haula and Tyson Jost are the two remaining Predators who'll be unrestricted free agents, while Nashville will have contract control over Fedor Svechkov and Justin Barron as restricted free agents. There's also the Free Agency market opening up and the Predators working with a large chunk of change. Will they be bold enough to go out into the market, flex their wallet and bring back a nice depth piece?
