Penalties and poor defense spoiled the Nashville Predators' final game of the 2025-26 season, falling to the Anaheim Ducks, 5-4. A 4-minute double-minor on Tyson Jost for high-sticking put the Ducks on a late power play and allowed them to score the game-winner. Steven Stamkos and Filip Forsberg both flirted with hat tricks, scoring two goals apiece. Stamkos' 43 goals are tied for the third most in franchise history, while Forsberg passed the 40-goal mark for the third time in his career. Cole O'Hara also made his NHL debut, recording his first career point off an assist on a Stamkos goal.
