
The Tennessee Titans got their deal done with Carnell Tate this weekend in a move that wasn't surprising, but is still welcome as it avoids any unnecessary talking points or drama following the Titans. Having a peaceful offseason that is all about the work is exactly what the doctored ordered at this point after fireworks during the offseason. This will set Tate up for a massive season that could have him in line for a rookie of the year award. Cam Ward would certainly have to have a good season for Tate to accomplish that, but the statistical projections for Ward are not exactly good enough from ESPN's Mike Clay. However, the projections for the Titans' top trio at receiver with Tate, Calvin Ridley and Wan'Dale Robinson all look pretty encouraging. Finally, the Titans again need to focus on getting to work as the rest of the summer schedule arrives.
