In Part 2 of The Journey, we meet James and Sharifah, two refugees from Myanmar who arrived in Malaysia alone when they were minors. James is a Chin refugee who came to Malaysia when he was 15, and Sharifah is a Rohingya refugee who was brought to Malaysia by a smuggler when she was just 5 years old. Both came to Malaysia to escape persecution and violence in Myanmar, and to reunite with their long-lost families. The paths that brought them to Malaysia were unconventional and dangerous.
