Steven Crowder
I am in fact a white supremacist. Says the man who's on time, according to the Smithsonian. Did you know that? White supremacy. They talk. Being on time, being polite in the nuclear family. This is at the Smithsonian. I don't know why there's any funding going to the Smithsonian. So we're gonna talk about that. I know we've been on break. Welcome back. We're gonna be taking your chats. Anything that we missed that you specifically want us to.
Gerald
To discuss.
Steven Crowder
But I think one of the biggest wins, most significant things that this administration has done, people aren't talking about enough, basically saying, hey, the federal government's not going to be handing out money for worthless degrees. That cuts off the head of the beast as far as the Marxism machine in this country, or at least one of the most important components. So that's a big W. There have been some Ls while we were gone. Iran feels very much like a Best of Repeat nonstop. Not a big fan of that. And selling access to Truth social posts. Aside from that, what else has happened? The Odyssey. You know what? I just. I guess we gotta do the recap.
Josh Firestein
The bipartisan housing bill becomes law without the president's signature.
Steven Crowder
This initiative, it's not about artificial enhancement. The odyssey, the number one film in the world that brought in more than $264 million this weekend. Donald launched his Trump account. Kelsey's lady of the House. Don. Taco Bell will make you half of Muslims terrorists. Wagner dropped out of the race. Mitch McConnell hit his face. Housing bill is finally law. Lindsey Graham is dead. I wanted to directly address the troubling serious and false allegations.
Interviewer/Caller
Give an opinion on this tattoo.
Steven Crowder
Joey Chestnut wins again. Black broad is Ben Franklin. Soldiers get testosterone. A red deal is bullied. Lone bums fall on IRGC. McGregor has a wonky knee. US loses the World Cup. Candace Owens still a co back. Getting lo. We were on hiatus. And the liberals.
Interviewer/Caller
Hiatus.
Steven Crowder
We're back now and getting louder. No, we didn't start it. But the fight goes on and on.
Josh Firestein
Wait, what happened? What's going on?
Steven Crowder
That's it. That's all I could write. There really wasn't that much that happened.
Josh Firestein
Yeah, summer kind of sucked, huh?
Steven Crowder
Yeah, this summer it was crap.
Josh Firestein
Cases of diarrhea. Ar.
Steven Crowder
No, no, we're not doing. We're not doing a whole other song. Nothing happened. It's a waste of time. I don't even want to do the Billy Joel thing. We.
Josh Firestein
No, people love the Billy Joel thing.
Steven Crowder
You love the Billy Joel thing. I don't love The Billy Joel.
Guest/Expert
You do love the.
Josh Firestein
You didn't even flip the table over. Maybe that'll help you, make you feel better.
Steven Crowder
I don't. I don't think flicking the table.
Josh Firestein
Try it. I. It might.
Steven Crowder
I. It feels.
Josh Firestein
Come on. You want to.
Guest/Expert
There.
Josh Firestein
You almost.
Steven Crowder
It does feel pretty. It does feel good.
Interviewer/Caller
It feels better.
Josh Firestein
Yeah.
Interviewer/Caller
Okay.
Steven Crowder
But we got work, Right? But it was a good idea with that flipping the table.
Josh Firestein
We're done, though.
Interviewer/Caller
Still.
Steven Crowder
Glad to be with you. Glad to be back. Oh, my headphones were a little bit loud. That's on me, though. I had my headphones a little bit too loud. Also, I heard that you were adjusting your mic stand, so you heard that.
Gerald
I didn't hear it.
Josh Firestein
Oh, you heard me doing it.
Steven Crowder
Because it's like, we all should have done these things beforehand.
Gerald
That would have been helpful, but glad to be.
Steven Crowder
And yes. Look, I'm not calling you out.
Josh Firestein
Yeah, you did. You're like rookie. I didn't know how to do your mind.
Steven Crowder
I didn't. It was someone else. And he keeps interrupting. Already, Already. I'm gonna be calm. When I came back from the break. He can't help him.
Josh Firestein
It's been a long time. He's got to get that in.
Steven Crowder
It was a relaxing break.
Josh Firestein
Yes. Finally.
Interviewer/Caller
Already.
Gerald
I'll take it.
Josh Firestein
Whatever. Worst admonish of the summer.
Gerald
Ah, very.
Steven Crowder
He went with a butt. He got a buzz cut. I didn't even notice. So many changes. Oh, that's not you. I'm talking about Noodles. Not everything's about you.
Josh Firestein
Well, he did get a haircut yesterday. I remember going, what hair is he cutting? Maybe it's his back. I don't know.
Steven Crowder
All right, guys, before we get into everything else, we mentioned the worthless degrees at higher education being put in the crosshairs. That's a big deal. I can't believe more people aren't covering that. We're going to talk about Rotten Tomatoes with the Odyssey and how they're actually manipulating scores. This is something that does matter because we're taking aim and this administration is at the mechanisms of Marxism in this. It is media, education, entertainment. You deal with those. You cut off the head of the beast. And a lot of people don't know the foul play with Rotten Tomatoes. But what topic did we miss over the break that you want us to talk about most? You let us know. And of course, we're back. 11:00am Live Eastern. Captain Morgan, how are you? I'm doing well.
Gerald
Had a good break. How.
Steven Crowder
How are you?
Gerald
Did you have a good break?
Steven Crowder
I noticed something different about you?
Gerald
Yeah, a little bit. I had my eyes lasered.
Steven Crowder
You can shoot lasers from your eyes.
Gerald
I wish.
Josh Firestein
Whoa. That is very cool.
Steven Crowder
I don't know how I feel about it with the.
Josh Firestein
We've already seen it in that stinger.
Interviewer/Caller
Yes.
Josh Firestein
Very prophetic stinger.
Gerald
Yes. Actually, it's true.
Steven Crowder
I don't know how I feel about Gerald without glasses. I don't know if you look better or if it's like Charlie Brown where he takes off his glasses and there's no eyes. But it's not Charlie Brown. It's the other character with glasses. You have Charlie Brown eyes. Soulless eyes.
Gerald
Macy.
Steven Crowder
The devil's eyes. A doll's eyes.
Interviewer/Caller
Wow.
Gerald
I think that's true.
Josh Firestein
He's like white Steve Urkel when he becomes Stefan.
Steven Crowder
Pretty much. Exactly. He kept asking me if I had any cheese. I'm like, don't. Is this a wine thing? Oh, it's an Urkel thing or it's
Gerald
like a wine thing. You never know.
Interviewer/Caller
It's like.
Steven Crowder
It's reversed. He just turns into Urkel.
Josh Firestein
We should make a new stinger of Gerald. Did I do that?
Interviewer/Caller
Yes.
Steven Crowder
Did I do that?
Gerald
The answer is always yes.
Steven Crowder
Yeah, actually, we should do a different Stinger and it should be full house and Gerald saying how.
Gerald
Woo.
Steven Crowder
Get a little dress going. We try to make fun of him.
Josh Firestein
He's like, cut it out.
Steven Crowder
Cut it out. He does a great Scooby doo impression. Friday, July 31, at Film Alley in Terrell, Texas. You know him, you love him. It is Josh Firestein. How are you, sir?
Josh Firestein
I'm good. I don't usually like to promote one more than one date, but, like, as the intro music was playing, I just got a text. I'm gonna be in Seattle this Friday.
Steven Crowder
Oh, very nice.
Josh Firestein
Emerald City's comedy club.
Steven Crowder
And in Texas. Hey, Guy and Renee. People I met over the break out in the lake. You said I were gonna go see. Get your crap together. Go see Josh live.
Gerald
All right.
Josh Firestein
Yeah. Yeah, bro.
Gerald
Do it.
Steven Crowder
Before we get to that, here's an Instagrammer who decided to profile. Oh, no, I forgot I was in such a good place mentally. How does that start?
Gerald
Come on.
Steven Crowder
Profiled some inspirational. We're using that word loosely. Books for kids. More specifically, black boys. Black boys deserve to grow up.
Josh Firestein
She's not black.
Steven Crowder
Picked your books to celebrate black boyhood. What do brothers do often? Black boy Grayson. Dear Black boy. Okay, what's up with all these books? I am perfectly designed. Keep dreaming, black child. That seems derogatory. That's like mocking Deep dreaming My little MENSA member. Haircut day with daddy. Let me guess. Four days a week. Joel off day. Okay, I don't know what that is. Oh, Saturday morning at the barbershop. A lot of barbershop bro hose before sequel hoes.
Josh Firestein
It should be bruhs.
Steven Crowder
When Langston. Is that the last one when Langston dances?
Josh Firestein
I think it was. Watch Langston dance.
Steven Crowder
Watch Langston dance.
Josh Firestein
He was wearing a basketball jersey.
Steven Crowder
Was he wearing basketball.
Josh Firestein
It looked like a basketball uniform. That could be just me being racist.
Steven Crowder
It could be. I have no idea. It's like Billy Elliott with twerking. I know what you're thinking. That first title that was there. What Do Brothers Do All Day? That's the title of the book. But we actually bought the book so that we could show you. So let's go through that. There's a learning strategy. Yeah, okay, let's.
Gerald
Cards are important.
Steven Crowder
Oh, after school activities. Very nice. And let's see. Paige.
Gerald
Oh, come on.
Steven Crowder
Oh, no.
Josh Firestein
Oh, my God.
Steven Crowder
Look, look. We could shorten that whole segment. What do brothers do all day? Not work.
Gerald
I can't believe they didn't have sitting on the porch.
Steven Crowder
I'm just trying to see if I have any more notes. I don't. What do I do? I'm just that old. I'm the old fashioned white supremacist who believes that being on time is important. Or nuclear families or being polite or the English language. And we'll get to the Smithsonian in a little bit. What they used to accuse you, right? Of conspiring about, right? They're just crazy. Come on. What, you think this is some. You think what, there's some replacement? What, you think that. You think people don't believe that we should have families? You think black people don't agree with you? You think we don't believe we should learn English? Now they're saying, yeah, this is white supremacy. So we'll get. This is where we are. I think we should defund all of it. If I was president for a day, I said, look, if I could, I can. If I was kidding. But you know what? We're just gonna fund nothing. Nothing except the military. And like, there might be like two other things. Like maybe a library here and there, a national park. And then you guys present. Let's Shark Tank it. You present to me the case. Why? Because you have at the Smithsonian, apparently, which is supposed to be museum. We're supposed to learn about history and art. You have them saying that being on time is white supremacy. So now you get no pennies which we discontinued. You get nothing.
Gerald
Maybe they're just saying. Hold on. Maybe it's a confused. They're just saying, we're better at being on time. We're supreme at being on time.
Steven Crowder
Get him off the screen. You asked for that, didn't you, Tim?
Gerald
I saw you lean over a minute ago, you jerk.
Steven Crowder
I totally didn't even.
Gerald
Chat's getting in on it.
Steven Crowder
Oh, someone is getting on. Someone has his glasses. He can't see without his glasses. He can't be admonished without his glasses.
Josh Firestein
They're aced. Good. Good joke, Chad. We didn't think of that.
Steven Crowder
I know. How do we not do the migraine?
Josh Firestein
We should have done that as our intro or open today.
Steven Crowder
And then also, you don't get to speak unless you have a conch. And I know some people say it's conch or conch. I've heard both ways. The point is, we're gonna smash his glasses over a rock. Magnifying glass. We're gonna burn his new laser eyes with the magnifying glass.
Gerald
I can see.
Steven Crowder
Squeal for me, piggy.
Josh Firestein
All right, with your laser surgery, was it just your vision or did they. Did they add color in there? They.
Gerald
Josh, we've talked about this. They can't do that. No, you know that.
Steven Crowder
No, they can't fix his soul.
Josh Firestein
We talked about it, but I wanted you to say it publicly.
Gerald
Yeah, I appreciate that.
Steven Crowder
He's colorblind. Yeah, he's colorblind, but very racist.
Gerald
All right, I can see black and white.
Steven Crowder
Here's so, hey, you know, white people shouldn't run the world. That's white supremacy. You know what else? Men shouldn't run the world. Because we'd be better off if men were in charge of specifically white men. Right. That's the message that you're hearing across the board. Here's a fighter from the ufc, Ian Garry, making it known that the world would be better off if it were exclusively run by women. But it's not sexist. Any smart man in the world should look at his wife and know that that's the person I need to listen to. Like, if the world was smart, we'd all live in a better world. Like, it would all be simpler and easier. That's the fact of the matter, whether you want to smart or not, or you think whatever it is. If women ruled the world and we just listened to them and let them take over, it would be an easy one.
Interviewer/Caller
Okay.
Steven Crowder
Simpler and easier. I wanted to do, by the way. Of course, that's something that Ian Garry would say this is a man who hyphenated his last name with his wife. This is a man who's nutritionist is his wife's ex husband. And they all travel the world together. And allegedly at one point, they live together, they spent a lot of time. It's a weird setup. And he defended it until they said that's not really what happened. So of course he has to do exactly what she tells him and he would hyphenate his name that way. But let's go through the simpler and easier. Look, I think that women obviously are better at quite a few things than men. Simplifying, streamlining, making things more efficient. Let's go through getting ready to go out. Okay? General social functions, preparing for work, meetings at work. Tell me one example where a group of women would make these endeavors simpler than a group of men. Any of them. That's the whole thing. The whole joke about men is you're just so simple, right? All they want is sex in a sandwich. Whereas this is the premise for stand up comedy. The whole the difference between men and women. It would be simpler and it would be easier. What would be easier? Of course, by the way, this is just an old trope that people use. We've had women in charge. This idea that we have not had women in charge is silly. And the reason that women are often not in charge is because it hasn't gone well in many cases. Unfettered cruelty. So you had Mary, numero uno of England, burned 280 Protestants during her reign just for being Protestant.
Gerald
Smelly.
Steven Crowder
You have Queen Renavalona of Madagascar killed 2 1/2 million of her own people through forced labor. Yet Indira Gandhi ruled India under martial law from 75 to 77, rather than face removal for the alleged corruption, sterilized millions of Indians under the COVID of martial law. You know, simpler, easier. Also I will say a big swing and a miss when she didn't catch this guy for sterilization. Ah, that's gross.
Josh Firestein
Ah, the old pit patty.
Steven Crowder
Yeah, the old pit patty. I don't have another hand.
Gerald
What do you expect?
Steven Crowder
All cultures are equal.
Josh Firestein
What's New York missing? They got everything except for pit patties.
Steven Crowder
It starts with eating your bowl of rice with your fingers and you end up with pit patties on every corner. They don't have the regulations and they do have hands.
Gerald
I don't know why they do them.
Steven Crowder
I mean, people will then say it's chauvinism. Or people will say that. If you say like I think that men Are generally more efficient. Like men generally will find the fastest path toward their goal. That's what men have to do. It's just the difference of sexes. Right? We're usually. Historically, we've been hunters, gatherers. We've had to be in that pressure cooker. We've had to be in high stress scenarios. That's why men have better reaction time, by the way. That's one of the biggest differences in sports. Women are more social, Women are more comforting. Women are able to communicate, converse in a way that is more agreeable, less offensive. The idea, though, that women would make things simpler, this is just, let's just say all the good thing about women, good things about women and just bad stuff about men. And people say, sure, exactly.
Gerald
And it's also not biblical either. And I want to bring things back to that because it's like you can have this worldview. You can try to pull from all these different areas and try to make this case somehow that women would be better as leaders than men. And you just have to remember, like, we're not designed that way. Right. The designer said, this is how it will work best. You guys can do what you want, but I'm guaranteeing you, you're not going to like the results.
Josh Firestein
Right.
Gerald
And I don't want to take advice from a guy like that anyway, so it works out.
Steven Crowder
No one ever just, oh, defend that, that blanket statement. No, the world would be better off. Why? You know, there'd be no wars. There were wars and women were in charge. There'd be no death. There was plenty of death. There was plenty of murder. Plenty. Plenty of unfettered cruelty. Everything would be efficient. Have you seen your wife's walk in closet? What makes you think that it would be more efficient?
Josh Firestein
Well, he didn't. I don't know if he said more efficient. He did say simpler, though.
Steven Crowder
Simpler and easier.
Josh Firestein
Things would be much simpler. Yeah. Without electricity, everything. Yeah. Without plumbing. Yeah, it's simple. Go outside, squat. There you go.
Steven Crowder
There you go.
Gerald
Black people would be considered more on time because everyone would be late.
Steven Crowder
That's true.
Gerald
There you go.
Steven Crowder
That's true. It's a new era of the Latina woman. Get used to it. Nothing's on time.
Josh Firestein
That, that seems personal.
Steven Crowder
True. Man knows it's a thing. They're just like. It's just, it's just, you know, it's just, it's our.
Interviewer/Caller
It's.
Steven Crowder
It's just a thing. It's like an entire continent has a thing. Thankfully, whether you have a penis or vagina, it doesn't really matter when it comes to financing your home build.
Josh Firestein
Yo, what up, fam? It's your boy, D Day. Just hanging at the Izzy, living in luxury. And today I'm gonna let y' all in on my secrets to success so you can live it up like me.
Steven Crowder
You feel me?
Josh Firestein
I'm finna show you how to glow
Steven Crowder
up without a blow up so you
Josh Firestein
can cop a crib like me. Darryl, this is my house. You didn't pay for this. I did. Dad, you're interrupting my video. I'm gonna have to restart now. And stop calling me Daryl. I told you, it's D Day now.
Steven Crowder
D Day.
Josh Firestein
I'll stop calling you Daryl when you
Steven Crowder
start on the D ishes.
Josh Firestein
How about that, Darrell? On God, fam. On God. He don't even know. He don't even know what I'm finna do. Do your followers know you sleep in a bunk bed? I told you, I'm saving up for the king bed. I swear to God, man, on everything. I can't wait to move out. And you can. You just have to call American Financing
Gerald
like I told you to.
Josh Firestein
And you gonna have to call the ambulance when I pop a cab in your ass. I didn't do nothing.
Steven Crowder
I'm sorry.
Josh Firestein
Call the pros at American financing today at 1-800-974-6500 or visit www.americanfinancing.net Crowder NMLS 182334. If you start today, you may even delay up to two mortgage payments. There you go.
Steven Crowder
A lot of people have saved money. That's why there's still a sponsor. I can't believe that the let's get away with it.
Gerald
They want more really quick.
Steven Crowder
I hate ever doing this stuff because I don't like doing the personal things. But over the break, a lot of you asked me to talk. I guess Candace Owens wrote about me and this group here on X. Saying that or implying that I work with or I'm an asset to the bi. So look, let me just read it for you. She wrote, if you haven't caught on, it's always Steven Crowder who gets the exclusive on a bizarre trans narrative directly from the FBI. Like he did for Audrey Hale in the Nashville shooting. There is a reason for that. He helps the FBI establish a trans narrative so the public doesn't prod further. You know what? Hey, I accept. Candace. I accept the debate conversation. They can do it. Your show, my show, Cross stream, neutral territory. Maybe look silly. Hey, just substantiate your claims. If you believe that to Be the case, of course, I say it's untrue and you'll say that it is true. Let's just sit down and talk about it. Since you brought it up. Yep, I accept. You guys can let her know. That's it. I don't want to do the back and forth on X or anything. Yep, I accept. Thank you for bringing this up. Thank you for letting my name leave your lips and glad to, glad to have this debate finally. I'm glad to see that you're up for it. Let's go into President Trump here. So we were gone. I mean, Iran not good, right? Not because Iran is winning, like some on the left are saying, and not because Donald Trump has betrayed. Just because it doesn't seem like there's a very good off ramp. The messaging is terrible, as we've always said. Seems to be one of those things where they do something, we do something. The ceasefire doesn't really exist anymore. So that wasn't great. The selling early access to truth social posts. Stupid. That would be my read on it. I don't know if anyone else.
Gerald
It's one of these weird things that he kind of listen, he is announcing a lot of stuff to the public through social media, through true social, instead of just waiting to get it out through the press and everything like that. And so he's like, well, if you want it early, come back and pay for it. That just seems a little weird. They do too many selling. This administration seems unethical. So, yeah, weird.
Steven Crowder
But yeah, it's definitely so imperfect. But I will say this. This is something that I can't believe has been glossed over by a lot of people. When you think of the mechanisms of Marxism, the indoctrination in this country, right, where you have an entire generation, people under the age of 30, I think over half of them would vote for a socialist candidate in the United States. What do you think are the primary drivers of that? I've always talked about the media, entertainment, education, industrial complex. It's those three media, entertainment, education, and that is by design. So when people say, what do you, what do you get for your vote? Did you get what you voted for? Well, on immigration, yes. In contrast, everything no on education. I liked what we saw with the student loans reversal from Biden. But this is way bigger. The idea that the federal government is basically no longer going to write a blank check for useless degrees. That means a lot of the humanities, a lot of the liberal arts, a lot of the creative arts, our entire educational system and even the tenure of A lot of professors is predicated on the idea that, well, Uncle Sam's gonna write a check. So let's just have you here in perpetuity, where we can indoctrinate you forever. And the federal government, this administration, is the first one to say, you know what? We're not doing that anymore. So in case you've forgotten how bad it can get, here are the lunatics on campus destroying America. And they'll be building your roads and designing your planes in the future.
Interviewer/Caller
Hi, media.
Steven Crowder
Can I talk to you?
Guest/Expert
No.
Steven Crowder
You need to get out. You need to get out. No, I don't. You need to get out. I actually don't.
Gerald
All right.
Steven Crowder
Hey, who wants to help me get this reporter out of here? That is cartoonishly funny.
Gerald
It is? Yeah.
Josh Firestein
And the sound, He likes it. It's like that's what I'm trying to
Steven Crowder
do with the rest of them.
Josh Firestein
Yeah. My chemical bromance.
Gerald
Sorry, sir.
Josh Firestein
She's gonna pass out.
Steven Crowder
Legend has it there's a sound wave still rippling at UMass to this day.
Josh Firestein
UMass. Oh, she's got the mask.
Steven Crowder
It's time for Education Infection. Be a Marxist like me Me. It's an Education infection. Be a Marxist like me, Me. It's an education infection Infection. All right, now, take all those people and take all those professors. Okay, here's what eliminates it. No, no, you actually have to have something to show for it. Oh, you're a professor. You actually have to show that you've improved the lives of your students. If you don't, that's it. We're not funding this. Students. Oh, you want to get that degree? Okay, if you want a loan, if you want any assistance, you have to prove that it's going to be useful. You're going to benefit society, meaning you're going to earn more than you pay into that degree. Otherwise, you're more likely to basically forego paying back your student loans and wait for a president who's going to forgive them. So, no, no, you have to make it work. You have to be successful if you want us to help you. This is not a blank check. New provision in effect as of July 1, students are no longer going to be able to take out federal loans to pay for those useless majors. And that has an effect on entire faculty departments as well. A new provision championed by Republicans just took effect which could limit the money available for certain colleges and certain professions. It requires these programs prove that graduates, on average, earn more than high school graduates. If not, they could lose access to federal student loans. Schools are already judging and looking at all of their programs to see which ones would fail, which ones would pass. So they're starting to do the legwork
Josh Firestein
to try to avoid the worst of the consequences.
Steven Crowder
Think about that for a second. Schools now are afraid, so they're starting to do the legwork. Educational establishments are now nervous that they may be graded on how effective they are in educating. So they are now beginning considering to do the legwork to prove that they're any good at educating.
Gerald
And it's not just that. It's now like it should have been the goal from the very beginning. I don't know when the doors of the university opened, but it's the idea that now they're going like, how do we get around this? Not how do we fix it and make this more productive for students, but how do we get around it?
Steven Crowder
Well, here's the thing. I will tell you, there's a big question mark. This may only affect 2% because right now we only have numbers on a very small percentage of degrees and programs. That to me is a travesty where we know that these people, these graduates, make less than a high school, someone with a high school diploma. That being said, it looks like this is going to require this new bill. It's going to require them to prove that their degree will result in a better income. So that could actually expand this quite a bit. So right now it's good. It could end up being great. Let me just read this for you. This is from the big beautiful bill. This is what it actually says. The median income of graduates for a school's bachelor degree, associate degree and under undergraduate certificate programs must be higher than the median earnings of people who received only a high school diploma. For masters and doctoral programs, their graduates must make more than the median 25 to 34 year old Bachelor's graduate in either that specific field or across all bachelor's degrees, whichever is lower. That's important too because that removes, I don't know, things like PhDs for German poetry or whatever it is that you guys are doing. So it's two tiers. All right, you want to do it? They have to make more than someone who just went to high school because you know what, it's a lot of money. And okay, they're getting a master's, they're going to be getting a doctorate. Okay, cool. They have to be making more than other people who just have bachelors. We can't just do this in art, basket weaving or Afro lesbian centric studies because it's still A lot of money. And you know what? We just don't have the money for it. Might I present to you Google or one of the new AI interfaces, should you want to search for this information in absence of a professor.
Josh Firestein
Or maybe you just pay for your own education.
Steven Crowder
There you go.
Josh Firestein
That's the thing, is that's what the left will try to. Out they go. Oh, well, the government wants to take away access to education. That's how they say it. Well, it's not access to education. The access is still there. You just can't borrow money from the government and never pay it back. That's all.
Steven Crowder
You're mostly right. But I will say this, here's the beautiful. The access won't be there. And that's why they're so concerned. The access won't be there because they won't have these departments because you won't be able to sustain them. You have professors who are tenured. You have professors who are tenured in this country who have never helped a single student earn an extra dollar. They've taken their money. They have their benefits. They can prove in no way whatsoever that they benefit, that students lives. You can prove that they hate America. You can prove the indoctrination. They cannot prove any net benefit. And these schools rely on the federal money because once that's gone, right. You think banks, especially if we look at the Pell Grants being hit, the scholarships. Banks, banks, right? Now go like, all right, I'll loan you 50,000 because Uncle Sam's going to make up another 50,000. Wait a second. Uncle Sam's not covering the extra 50. You're not getting my loan. Why? Because you can't pay it back? There goes the idea of predatory lending. This could do away with all of it. It's a brilliant approach. Now, there still are some details that you know, have yet to be determined, but no one else has even tried. And I want you to see, watch for how terrified the left is because they know what this actually does. And check the references. We make them available every single show. So there are some programs that are for profit that are hit a little bit harder, like cosmetology, barber school. Then you have the not for profit departments. Any surprise here? Drama, fine arts, social work, which by the way, they've been praised as heroes.
Gerald
Social.
Steven Crowder
They should replace cops, social workers. Turns out you actually don't make any more than someone with a high school diploma. And you're dumb. Summer likely on the chopping block is Carnegie Mellon's university's bagpipe performance degree. It's not that the students don't have a future. It's just not an ideal one to fund. I'd fund it.
Gerald
Yeah, maybe.
Josh Firestein
This is. I mean, how many. How long is that program? You teach the bagpipe and then you teach a hip thrust and.
Gerald
Well, in fire.
Josh Firestein
Fire. I forget.
Steven Crowder
If I'm president for a day, I go only military and bagpipe thruster. That's all we are funding.
Josh Firestein
Combine the two. Whoa, watch out. Funerals.
Steven Crowder
That's scary. That would confuse the hell out of isis. But I don't know, there's. That.
Guest/Expert
There's.
Steven Crowder
There's fire coming from his hips.
Gerald
Is it his dick?
Steven Crowder
Is it. I don't know, but it sounded like hell.
Josh Firestein
If that was marching at you in
Steven Crowder
the desert, dude, I'd surrender right away.
Josh Firestein
Put your guns down.
Steven Crowder
Yeah, I just think these people are nuts. You can't be crazy.
Gerald
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Thank you for the raid, Dan. We appreciate it. We're glad to be back. Look, this, I should also say so. Bagpipes. They're taking that one away. That's on the chopping block, which I'm not a fan of. But you guys let me know he'll also be canceling whatever class this was that Gerald aced. Climb up that butt.
Gerald
See, it's not even me. That guy has glasses on.
Steven Crowder
This, if implemented correctly, could be doge, could be the USAID cut, all of it, times 10. Long term, this could be the most important change, and I would really like to see other Republicans do. Do more with it, because there hasn't even been attempts made. I mean, people will say, did you get what you voted for? I don't know. H1B, an 87% reduction, new H1BS, it's better than none. It's not 100, but it's 87% better than zero. As a matter of fact, it was an increase of like 200% under Biden. Well, you know, border being secured at 99%. It's not 100, but it's pretty good. This one, where we talk about the problem of education. It's one of the most often received chats from you. What do we do about it? Here you go. Can you tell me anyone else who would have even attempted to do this? Border, H1BS, two genders, this. I would vote for this again, 50 times over.
Gerald
Yeah, 100%. And it's a foot in the door, because this kind of idea, this concept. We've talked about universities being indoctrination factories forever, but nobody's really had a solution to it. Other Than, okay, maybe start your own university. Tell kids they don't have to do that. They can go to a trade school and make more money. That's fine. And those things will have impact. This will have the biggest impact. What they're doing is trying to give people an easy on ramp to debt for life. And now you're dependent on the government. It's not just the indoctrination. It's every X post we see of. Here's my payment for my student loan that I can never get out from under because I don't earn enough money. That's the perfect cover to go in and say, we're trying to keep you from that. We're going to protect you.
Steven Crowder
This is a scheme and this is what bothers me of so many people on the right. Who would. You'd have people on the right. I won't name names who would say this about education, but they make sure that their kid goes to Harvard, right? They make sure their kid goes to the best school they can. They pull some strings. I don't believe that. I don't want my. I hope that my children find something else they're passionate about, where they can start a business or go to a trade school. Hey, if there's a school nearby, state school, great. I do not want to send them to. What is a scam.
Josh Firestein
It is an.
Steven Crowder
It is an indoctrination factory. Now, look, let's just put aside the fact that over 800 college programs leave their graduates earning significantly less than high school graduates. That's like over 40,000 students. Let's just put that to the side here. The left knows that it is an indoctrination factory and it's only gotten worse. Let me ask this, okay? If you take someone, if you want to edge someone toward socialism, voting left, all right, they get a job or they go to school on a loan.
Interviewer/Caller
What?
Steven Crowder
Okay, there you go. That's going to edge them towards being more left, okay? If they're in an educational system where a huge percentage of the professors are women, we know the voting demographic, okay? You're going to edge them a little bit, okay? They have a huge loan and they have a president who says that or former vice president that they'll forgive those loans and they don't need to pay them back, okay, that edges them a little bit more. You shield them from the real world surrounded by these professors for a long period of time without ever having to make anything in return for four years, maybe six years. Oh, that edges them left. Then they graduate, they get out of said system and their financial prospects are no better off. And they need to either face that they've made some mistakes or there's an entire political party telling them no, no, no, no, no. This was the college experience and we should pay for it for you. If you wanted to breed young socialists, an entire generation, that's how you would do it. Yeah, that's exactly. How do conservatives make more conservatives, screw, have sex, make more seriously and raise them? How does the left make more leftists? Indoctrination, propaganda. And this is one of the most effective tools and you have been funding it. You have been funding all of it. You are funding the professors who teach your kids to hate you. Think about that and then those kids make less money. The most democratic, the most left leaning voting group in America is post grad degree holders with low or middle incomes. Think about that for a second. That means if you have low income or middle income but you, but you're not someone with a postgraduate degree, you're not that much more likely to be a leftist.
Gerald
Right.
Steven Crowder
That means if you have a postgraduate degree or you have a PhD and you're making good income, you are more likely to be right leaning. Meaning you probably went into a field, you probably studied it in university in a way that was useful and you make more money. This group is a group of people who studied things that were useless under the tutelage of professors who were indoctrinating them and then had to go out into the real world and want to vote themselves back into the fantasy. It's not even close. 80%, 80% of DSA members have at least a bachelor's, but about 45% have a household income of 60,000 or less. So remember this big lie the left used to say we're the party of intelligentsia.
Guest/Expert
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Well, that's right. The uneducated vote Republican, you make less and you're dumber. Our real world metrics also kids are not going into, they're not leaving university with reading, writing, arithmetic skills at all. They're leaving with opinions but no skills. This is why the left is furious about. The left is far more furious about this than the right is covering it. Yeah, and that is bizarre to me because I can't. There's so many books on the right, so many columns, so many videos about the left leaning nature of academia. And here you go. The first significant shot fired over the balcony. It just seems like people glossed over it.
Gerald
So I didn't even know by the way, this was in the big beautiful Bill from last year. Yeah, we didn't even. I didn't even know about this provision.
Steven Crowder
It just went into effect.
Gerald
Yeah, it's fantastic.
Steven Crowder
And that's why you have Chris Hayes. Stop the hammering. Ms. Now host. He wrote the most left wing people in America are people with postgraduate degrees who are financially strapped. And the most right wing are people without four year college degrees who are rich. Yes, yes. In other words, hey, did you start a business? Did you maybe, I don't know, maybe go to a trade school and you started your own plumbing company? You're gonna be right wing. Did you study Afro lesbian basket, water polo? And you make nothing. You're going to vote left because it's the only way that you don't have to pay that bill. It stings every time you open the mail and it should.
Gerald
And it avoids personal accountability. Like you said, you have to either go, I've made some bad choices.
Steven Crowder
But how do you say that?
Gerald
How do you say as a PhD candidate or something like that, you've got an advanced degree and you don't make enough money and you can't pay your loans and you can't get ahead. How do you say I made bad choices when everyone for your entire life has said this is the way to success. The only thing that can be wrong at that point is the system is against me and we have to change it. Right. That's why they love it. And they have. For them to be a perpetual victim, they have to get people into these victim categories first.
Steven Crowder
I mean, it's not to be all libertarian on you here and just make it. But the economics of this, they are central to all the other social issues. So for it's like, hey, we have an obesity problem and those who are poor are more likely to be obese. Okay, here's a solution. Stop funding it. You're not, we're not gonna pay for soda and Funyuns and watermelon straws. You don't have any money. Eat what we give you. You're skinny now. Oh my gosh, these kids, they go to school and it's indoctrination.
Guest/Expert
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Stop funding it. There will be no protests on campus from people who professionally protest. If they can't go because they have to pay their own way. There will be no professors who create black only spaces or teach courses on white privilege. If there's no salary for them, stop funding it. Which is what we should be doing anyway. Let me give you a very specific example. Okay? This isn't new, but it's been circulating Again, so this is at the Smithsonian, right? They actually put this up there where they consider the following vestiges of white supremacy, the ideas of individualism, nuclear family. They're saying this is white supremacy. Check the references. The scientific method, the Protestant work ethic, aesthetics, holidays. Based around these are things that are saying, hey, these are examples of white supremacy. The Smithsonian director and Anthea Hardig, I think. Yeah, and Thea Hardig, masters of history, UC Riverside likely got some kind of fed backed loan in liberal arts. Okay, let's, let's go through this. This is a very real world scenario. Okay? Young leftist, they get some kind of a loan from the federal government or backed by the federal government in liberal arts or history or drama, creative arts. Said leftist spends four to eight years in college with leftist professors. Just like that person who's there at the Smithsonian, you know, that would be their leader. They would be the apprentice. Then that leftist gets a recommendation for a non profit job, of course, at the Smithsonian. And then all of the leftists together collectively rewrite history at the Smithsonian to the point where it's an assumed fact that being on time is racist. That's how you get interactions like this
Interviewer/Caller
as part of this white supremacy document that your organization has promoted. Objectivity is a core and defining aspect of white supremacy culture. Do you think that it's the goal of the Smithsonian Institution to promote white supremacy culture?
Steven Crowder
Sir, do you mind sharing with me which document?
Interviewer/Caller
White supremacy culture. Right here. This is part of the Mass Action toolkit that your organization has promoted for several years now under your leadership. Is Mickey Mouse racist?
Steven Crowder
Mickey Mouse is not racist.
Interviewer/Caller
It's not racist. According to the Smithsonian Institution, one of your exhibits referenced Mickey Mouse as representing, quote, vestiges of long standing traditions of blackface minstrelsy. Would you describe that as racist? Is it important to be polite?
Steven Crowder
Excuse me, sir?
Interviewer/Caller
Is it important to be polite?
Guest/Expert
Yes, sir.
Interviewer/Caller
It's also interesting because the same Mass Action toolkit that your organization has been promoting references politeness as a defining characteristic of white supremacy culture. Ma', am, are you a white supremacist?
Steven Crowder
No, sir.
Interviewer/Caller
What is Latina power?
Steven Crowder
What is Latino power?
Interviewer/Caller
Latina power?
Steven Crowder
Latina power would be the. The forces derived from being a Latina.
Interviewer/Caller
Do you think that it's appropriate for the Smithsonian Institution to sell Latina power paraphernalia? It's a yes or no question.
Steven Crowder
I don't have control over what is.
Interviewer/Caller
I'm asking you if it's appropriate. I didn't ask you if you have control over it. Is it appropriate yes or no?
Steven Crowder
Again, we strive to represent all Americans and include.
Interviewer/Caller
Is it appropriate? Yes or no?
Steven Crowder
We strive to represent all Americans in our museums, including in our merchandise.
Interviewer/Caller
My time's up.
Steven Crowder
Thank you, sir.
Gerald
Do you have your white power shirts?
Steven Crowder
Yes, I wear the white power shirt.
Josh Firestein
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
And by the way, it's perfectly valid. People say, well, white is not the same as black. It's not a race of people. Because you can be Irish and you can be no Latina, by the way. Not the same at all. Go talk. Go talk to people in South America. They don't view themselves as the same. To be clear, some of them speak different languages and Africa's just one country. Yeah, exactly. It's just so silly. But that's. Hey, there you go. That is the byproduct through all of these steps of education and indoctrination. Stop funding it. Do it with everything. Just go through those. We want a black only space. Well, then you should go to a black only college. Whoa, does my loan transfer? It does not. You can pay your own way. I want you to refer to me as she. Sorry, the school. School's policy. It's a public school. We use the biologically appropriate pronouns as recognized by our federal government. Okay, you can pay to go to a private school. I want to get a degree. And, well, you can pay your own. You want to do that? You can get a degree. You can get a degree in Afro lesbian funk duos if you want, but you have to pay your way. Guess what? It stops. We have shielded kids. We have SHIELD not kids. Young adults from the real world. We have young adults who go through four years of glorified alcoholism activism at the behest of their professor, who is equally stunted in their development. And when they leave, they get shocked by the real world. So they stay and get another degree and another degree. And at best, at a certain point, the only job they can find with said useless degrees are teaching the next generation of unwitting rubes. These. These are the consequences. The fallout for this, I cannot stress to you the importance if implemented correctly. So first off, yeah, education prices will be lower across the board. The left should be happy with that, right? Just never ending supply of federal dollars. Of course, that causes hyperinflation. They better get competitive really quickly. But most importantly, it ends one of, if not the most important, primary mechanisms of Marxism in the United States. Useless teachers will be fired. They will be based on performance. All of this brotherhood and sisterhood with the administration, that goes away really quickly when they're hemorrhaging money. The perpetual studenthood now needs to be self funded. You and I don't pay for that useless crap. Things like that gender queer professional protester who you see spending eight years to get a PhD in women's lib is no longer going to be on campus and instead will have to get a job. You know, like everyone else in this country when we say that, oh there's, there's a two class system. Yeah, it is. Professional students, those who suckle at the government teat, contribute nothing and vote in their own interests. You can look at it across the board. Across the board. As Chris Hayes said, if you look at voting demographics, if people pay taxes, if they work, if they contribute, whether they're poor, middle income or upper middle class, guess what? They're more likely to vote conservative if they have skin in the game. If they don't, they don't pay taxes. They're students, they work in the non profit sector. Guess what? They'll vote left. It's that simple. It's that simple. Require a productive society and you will have no socialism ever. Rotten tomatoes.
Gerald
This one really pissed you off.
Steven Crowder
I'm not watching the Odyssey. I refuse to watch the Odyssey. This is so again, we go to another mechanism, the entertainment industry. It's really effective at gaslighting people. That word's overused. It's really effective at indoctrinating people and they're really effective at playing the victim. And very often, you know, you'll see a bias that's proactive and go, well, I clearly see that, you know, at Ms. Now or someone like Brian Stelter. But the manipulation that takes place behind the scenes is something that went unseen for a very, very long time. I think this administration has made great leaps to actually expose that. This really highlights it. The Odyssey, for a while there was like Captain Marvel, there was Gamergate, but it sort of died down because the left realized, okay, if we keep pushing this overtly, the industry's not going to go very well. They're still always trying to make it work subversively. I used to be able to separate, and I still can, art from the artist. I can't separate entertainment from the entertainment industry anymore. For let's say that the Odyssey just had made some casting mistakes. And I get it, it's fictional. Let's say it wasn't too on the nose. I still wouldn't want to see it because I don't want to give my money to a production house to a director who's going to use it to sucker punch Me with the next one, I'm at the point where I'm militantly, nope, I'm not giving them any money. I'm not because I know how it's going to be used. We see the game. So if we look at the Odyssey, who they want you to believe that now 95% of critics and 97% of audiences love it. No one has a bad word to say about the Odyssey. Well, it seems weird because if you remember leading up to the movie, they skipped all those word of mouth pre screenings for influencer social media. They said, no, we're not going to do that. They restricted or outright put basically a ban on all comments across official posts for the Odyssey. That's always a good sign. Well, apparently after all of that, it opened to be a smashing box office and critical success. Nary a bad word to be found.

with Oscar buzz already swirling.
Steven Crowder
Well, yeah, the momentum with critics, which they already knew that they had by the way. They're in the bag as far as momentum. Like it's only gross about 282 million worldwide thus far. They need to make at least 700 million just to break even a lot. That's a lot of money that they need to make now. But with the critics, two separate worlds with the critics. Well, sure, I think Kalshee right now. Do we have that? They have The Odyssey at 50% odds to win Best Picture. And then Dune Part 3, I guess is the next one. Digger is the next one really with Tom Cruise?
Gerald
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Oh, I don't know.
Gerald
It doesn't look like Tom Cruise at all though.
Steven Crowder
I didn't know that that was getting Oscar buzz, but yeah. And here's the thing, this is not new to those of you. Does anyone remember the, the Captain Marvel controversy that was going on back then? This is happening with Marvel quite a bit across the board. But Rotten Tomatoes, they've been caught with their pants down quite a bit. Here's what the left will do. The left will try and tell you. Well, it's just an aggregator so you can't blame them for bias. Absolutely we can. They are dishonest and it's not just an aggregator. It is a place that has direct relationships with those in the film industry. And, of course, some palms can be greased. We know that. But here's how they do have a bias, and here's how they try to socially engineer things. They do it through a selection bias. So Rotten Tomatoes, for those of you familiar, they have a critic score, like an average score from 1 to 100. And they have an audience score. So the critic score is usually by qualified critics. Right. You'd think, like, I don't know, Chicago Sun, New York Times. And then the audience is anyone who can go see the movie. Well, that's not how it works. And we'll go through this. So the Critic score is 94%. The audience score is 97%. On Rotten Tomatoes, when you go to Metacritic. Right. And they weigh the score differently. The critics score is about 89%. The audience is about 51% for comparison. So think about why, and we'll get to the methodology. But I want to show you how Rotten Tomatoes manipulates the critic score. And they can do it with any film that they want. And the audience score. It doesn't mean that they always do it, but it means they can always do it whenever they so choose. So going back to July 15th, by the way, there were no audience reviews and there were no critic reviews. And I was checking this Rotten Tomatoes. This was the only review that I could see. I know you're thinking like Washington Post. No, it was Tim Cogshell from the Alt Film Guide. And we all know that one Eddie wrote, christopher Nolan's latest cinematic event is perfectly good. And yet it's one truly remarkable achievement is not the drama, the direction, the acting, the cinematography, the visual effects, but the sound design. That was the only review up there. July 15, sound design. We're not getting that. Big Debbie in the lead, but Pennywise is closing in, And Big Debbie is in the lead once again. What a race race we have today, folks. They're in the home stretch now. Hey, are you a lady or a guy? Answer me. Lady. Guy.
Guest/Expert
A gift for Athena.
Steven Crowder
A lady gift. It's a guy. I'm pretty sure it's a lady. What say you? Is it a guy or a lady? Lady. Now, if you think. If you think that is repetitive. The film goes on and on and on.
Interviewer/Caller
Stop it.
Gerald
I listen. I saw it. And I almost cheered when that scene happened at the very beginning. I understand. I get it. And you make a very valid point that I'll consider in the future for these films. But I almost was like, yeah, I killed her in the opening scene.
Steven Crowder
She can't even jog lightly with fake armor.
Gerald
I know, it's. It's a horrible decision. An indefensible position.
Steven Crowder
It absolutely is.
Gerald
I get it.
Josh Firestein
Let me like my 4 year old son, she doesn't know what to do with his arms.
Steven Crowder
Like my dog Joe Lewis, when you put a Christmas sweater on him. So Rotten Tomatoes. Here's how they. Because if people believe, well, it must be really good. The critics say it's great and the audience says it's great, guess what? That creates momentum. They understand this. So let's first go with the critic score. Rotten Tomatoes. Here's how they manipulated who they select to be a critic.
Interviewer/Caller
Critic.
Steven Crowder
They have a certain criteria. Now, to be clear, we were denied the times that we applied several times with Rotten Tomatoes as a verified critic. I'll show you some of the people who have been approved. Guess their political persuasion. So these are the key values for Rotten Tomato critics to become. Verified, insight, audience quality, dedication. They say that podcasters, YouTubers also have to show consistent review output for a minimum of two years. I mean, I don't know how many dozens of reviews we've done. A minimum of 30,000 subscribers on YouTube qualifies for wide audience reach. We were of course, denied. However, these are included in that 94, 95% credit score. Rachel Wagner is an official critic. Twelve thousand subscribers on YouTube. A thousand views on the Odyssey review. And of course the review said it's an entertaining epic that's surprisingly rewatchable.
Gerald
That was the whole review?
Steven Crowder
Yeah. And we'll show you too. There's some of these videos that you watch. It's just a screen grab, not even HD of someone going, I liked this movie. So you can look at some of the reviews that are included in the critics score. I know what you're thinking. Like Richard Roper, you're thinking film critics. No, it's whoever they choose. Denied. Many conservative reviewers or people who would be right leaning. Denied. And people who are just as. Just as far left and activists. Approved. And you let me know when we have some of the videos there, Noodles, because some of them are just like literally 34 plays on some of them, but approved. So hey, you know what? Maybe Rotten Tomatoes, maybe guys, you can let us know why we weren't allowed to be critics. We review films all the time and we'd love to do more Rotten Tomatoes, we'd love to be included, provide some balance. Then if you look at the criteria for the audience review. So that's the bias, the selection bias that you see with the critic reviews, Rotten Tomatoes, then the audience score. Well, first, let's use kind of a comparison. Metacritic. Anyone who can log on to Metacritic, if they have an account, they can write a review, and each review is incorporated into the overall score. All right. Some people would say that's flawed because people control. Sure, okay, I understand it. Yeah, Rotten Tomatoes. Anyone can leave a review, but only verified reviews are counted toward the overall score. Now, verified for audience, not just critics. So now we have approval for critics, which is very selective where the criteria doesn't make sense, but we also have verification for the audience. So what that means is reviewers. As I understand it, only reviewers who would get a push notification from the Fandango ticketing app after the movie ended could leave reviews for the Odyssey. Now, someone could say, well, that makes more sense than someone just leaving review if they haven't seen the film. Sure. But let me ask you this. Who out there buys your tickets exclusively on Fandango? You guys let me know. Now, second question. How many of you who buy tickets on Fandango have its notifications turned on? So anyone who pays to. Whatever it is, the Cinemark app, Regal, I don't know. The other. The other primary ones, you don't even have a chance. Anyone who even uses Fandango but doesn't have the notifications set on or happens to catch them, you're not included. Why so specific? Do you think that maybe those people at Rotten Tomatoes saying, okay, we. We obviously had to. We know that you guys had to stop the screenings. We know that you guys had to disable comments. There are some levers we can pull here. If we only allow those who pay for tickets on Fandango to leave a review and only those who get a notification, we can look at the demographics. The people who receive notifications from the Fandango app are actually far more likely to be old, confused, and not really in the loop with the controversy. Or could they send out a message to people who might be verified, not critics, but verified users, saying, hey, this is how you would have to leave a review. In other words, provide the instructions to one group and not the other. That's how a lot of fights used to be fixed. To give you an idea, you may not know this, but sometimes there was one guy in a fixed fight who didn't know that he was in a fixed fight. It was the other guy who was paid to go down. The other guy thought he won. You can provide different instructions to different groups. You can look at, especially with AI, you can analyze it and say, okay, okay, we just want this demographic of people to be included in voting. All right, we've come to our conclusion. Only people who buy a ticket on Fandango and have their notifications turned on in the middle of the day get to leave a review. Congratulations. 97% for Tranny Odyssey. That's it. And then there were some other people out there who did some legwork, if you want to add to that. So this is a Reddit user. Rory Tate pointed out that if you look at the metadata and only the users who wrote a review on Rotten Tomato are included, the results change. Like, the new audience score is 56%. Meaning if you got rid of, I think just the verified ones with the push notification.
Interviewer/Caller
Right.
Steven Crowder
So people who would be verified. So people who, as I understand it, likely would have bought a ticket or certainly would still have an account. So there's some form of verification, but they didn't do the push notification.
Josh Firestein
Oh, my gosh.
Steven Crowder
It's more in line with Metacritic. So this is important because we talked about education, we've talked about the media is dead as far as legacy media. Cnn, msnbc, Ms. I mean, none of them even have the same names, to be clear. So good. Mission largely accomplished. Stay on that. Education will be decapitated the beast within the next decade, decade and a half, if this is implemented correctly. The entertainment industry is a little bit trickier because. Because unlike media and unlike education, the industry is predicated around it being able to morph and adapt to new mediums like new media. So for the longest time, the entertainment industry, they wanted to ban people online who were their competitors, right? Podcasts, YouTube, things like that. That was the era of copyright strikes, DMCA claims. Then they said, oh, wait a second, this is where the puck is going regardless. So let's just dump a bunch of money into these social media platforms or media platforms like YouTube, so that we can dominate and force these guys out. Oh, wait a second. People have found other platforms where they're able to give feedback and relay the honest information to the audience. Like our movie Sucking like it having a social agenda. Okay, now let's go to those who are trusted as aggregators and find ways that we can manipulate that. And it's all designed to make you go, wait a second, 97% of people just love the Odyssey. I guess I'm in a small minority. Wait a second. The vast majority of Americans don't have a problem with a tranny Bud Light cam, whatever it is. Take your pick. It is designed to make you think that you hold a radical view when you don't. And here's actually more privileged. You know who didn't love the movie? Emily Wilson. And she was the one whose translation was basically used as the inspiration for the Odyssey by Nolan, which was a mistake in its first. In the first place, the film has
Guest/Expert
these flashbacks to the Trojan War. I'm not sure if I see it as an entirely anti war film, but it certainly presents us with an Odysseus who feels very bad about certain things that he's done in war and is struggling to process them in a very, I would say, very modern, psychiatrized way. And he's struggling to process them and needs drugs to do so for help with his recovery. And he seems to feel bad about being a warrior. And we never actually get to see him doing much warrioring, which I thought, in a way was a bit of a shame. He wants glory and he wants to get spoils from the sack of a city, which is. You'll see what Nolan does with all of that, but it's different things from what Homer does. I kept looking in vain for a sense that this was a film about glory. I think it's a film that has some interest in shame, but I don't think it has any interest in glory.
Gerald
I think. I think she's also wrong. It's not. His character doesn't have any problem with war and being in war. It has no issue with that at all. He has a problem with him being responsible for the murder of men, women and children in that city only because of his idea that was it. It wasn't the sacking of the city or winning a war. He didn't have a problem with that. He had a problem with, oh, my gosh, the only reason men, women and children are being slaughtered throughout the city because it said 10 years of vengeance was unleashed in one night. That was the problem that he had with it. He's like, holy crap, what did I just do?
Steven Crowder
Yeah, but this primary, the first poem is really more so about a guy's glory, in other words. No, she's writing modern. Everything's praying. Oh, okay. Well, he'd be like, ah, I killed that little bitch.
Gerald
I thought her analysis was wrong anyway, so.
Steven Crowder
Well, let's just not have women interpret all these classic. How about we just go back to the originals, huh? How about that? It'd be like if we had the New Testament. And someone's like, you know what? I want to rewrite this I want to change all of this. Actually problematic.
Josh Firestein
I actually have a question for that. Emily Wilson. Are you a lady or a guy?
Steven Crowder
You must go by the tattoos.
Gerald
What's hilarious is that that character, what's her name? Ellen, ends up in Hades, and they end up talking. He's like. She's like, you left me there to die.
Steven Crowder
And he's like, yes, but I was right there next to you.
Gerald
I could smell your blood. I was like, this is hilarious to me. She dies at the open, and the entire point of her being there was to get killed. They left her behind to be killed. It was hilarious to me.
Steven Crowder
I don't follow. I don't like that. You saw the movie.
Gerald
I know.
Steven Crowder
I don't know. I just can't. Look, you guys, I just can't anymore. I'm like, no, I'm just not gonna give him the money. It used to be like. Because I know. I know people who are Christian conservatives that go, yeah, my kid really likes Ms. Rachel. You. I don't know what else. They're like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Because your child is just one click away from tit binding on trans awareness. Say the Odyssey.
Josh Firestein
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
That he's one click away from being coached on how to say Latin X. Like, just. No, no, nothing. It's all, give a mouse a cookie or give a moose a muffin, whatever the hell it is. Absolutely not. I'm just at that point, like an artist. And if it's, let's say, a prick of an artist who's, like a far leftist. I don't know. Let's say Mark Ruffalo was in a movie that's really good, and the movie has a good message and, you know, the people involved with production. Okay, okay, fine. I can say, separate the art from the artist. I cannot separate the entertainment from the industry. Because the industry has decided that it is incumbent upon them to fundamentally change society in a way that is evil. That's my view. I'm hardline, I'm militant. I make no apologies about it. And I'm not so fun at parties.
Josh Firestein
That's not true. You're sometimes fun at parties.
Steven Crowder
Sometimes I can.
Josh Firestein
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Someone like.
Josh Firestein
Depends on what kind of party. Someone winds me up, try to get you to drink.
Gerald
I know.
Josh Firestein
True.
Steven Crowder
That's why you dosed me.
Josh Firestein
That's why I had my neighbor come over and tell us that she's getting a divorce.
Interviewer/Caller
That's right.
Steven Crowder
Yeah. Let's get Stephen R. Well, because everyone's like, I can't believe that guy. Would that guy they're both like 85. Didn't you say she's the most annoying human being ever? Like, maybe the guy had enough.
Gerald
He's gonna die in two years for like 55 years.
Josh Firestein
Yeah, it was a fun day.
Steven Crowder
So going back to this, a lot of critics outlets and certainly a lot of fans had problems with the, like, 97%. As far as an aggregate of an audience score would mean. This is pretty much, you know, across the board, right?
Josh Firestein
There's.
Steven Crowder
Everyone agrees it would sort of be like, you probably had that with, like, the Dark Knight, which is another Nolan film, where people go, this is. It's pretty hard superhero film out there. It was really well done. You're not going to find. You might find some people go, I don't know, it's too mainstream, whatever. But you're not going to find people who go, like, no, I thought it was absolutely crap. Everything about it was horribly done. So 97% means across the board for all time. Everyone will look back on it and say, objectively, that was as close to a perfect film that can be made. It wouldn't allow room for many, many people being pissed about the casting, the inaccuracy, the overacting. Like, here's an example. Walter Masterson wrote about this, like, trying to tell people. Well, no, hold on a second. There are a bunch of people who are outraged. This is someone trying to tell you you shouldn't be outraged. Right? And that's another weird thing. You have people going like, well, I don't know why people are so upset. Come on. You don't. You don't. Like, have you lived under a rock for the last, last 10, 15 years where the left always bitches about appropriation. Like, the Greeks don't get. They don't. They don't get a bright spot. Like, this is their thing.
Josh Firestein
You've been shoving it down our throats. How. How do you not understand? Yeah, it's like, why would you be mad at the. The guy who texts you about hail damage?
Steven Crowder
Right?
Gerald
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
I don't know.
Josh Firestein
F you, right?
Gerald
Yeah. They started out the movie not with just that scene, but with the black guy doing slam poetry. Not kidding.
Steven Crowder
I'm even more mad that you saw this. I didn't know you played for a script. We're a black guy in ancient Greece,
Gerald
did slam poetry, obviously slammed the table as he was doing it, too. I was like, oh, this is.
Josh Firestein
I am familiar with the scene because I did watch the first scene. Six minutes. I bootlegged it, though. Like an American.
Gerald
You just admitted to A crime. Josh, do you want to maybe qualify that as maybe bootlegged it?
Steven Crowder
Allegedly.
Josh Firestein
There we go.
Steven Crowder
I've seen slam poetry once in my life, and it was accidentally because it was an open mic, and I had a friend who was doing a little like. And I didn't realize it was open mic where anyone could do anything.
Josh Firestein
Anything.
Steven Crowder
And the guy just got really.
Josh Firestein
Well, technically, at a comedy open mic, you can do anything and be like, wow, that was comedy.
Steven Crowder
Comedy. I left very quickly.
Josh Firestein
Should have stayed. You don't know. You could have missed a big punch. Well, come on, you're a norm fan.
Steven Crowder
I'll tell people. I'll tell people about it during. During Rumble, because it's not that I necessarily want to be going wide. So what are you trying to tell me? The.
Gerald
I have one if you want to see.
Steven Crowder
Okay. Okay. So, by the way, just going back to this, I was saying earlier, Verified critics, not verified. We're not.
Interviewer/Caller
Right.
Steven Crowder
Our mug club movie reviews that are done in this studio with professional sound consistently with a rating system that you guys understand, that doesn't qualify having done it for close to a decade, give or take. But this is a verified critic.
Gerald
Yeah.
Josh Firestein
So just for the reference, it's called for your reference podcast. 387 subscribers, 91 videos, and they gave
Steven Crowder
it a five out of five. So let's see what they have to say. Come on, son.
Josh Firestein
Oh, okay.
Guest/Expert
Denzel's back. Denzel's back. Okay.
Steven Crowder
Will be mine.
Josh Firestein
Oh, I'm sorry.
Gerald
This is for Gladiator.
Interviewer/Caller
Okay.
Steven Crowder
It's for Gladiator 2. But this is her video review.
Gerald
She gave Gladiator 2 a five of five.
Steven Crowder
No, no, no, no. She gave the Odyssey five out of five.
Gerald
Yeah, we need.
Josh Firestein
Because we've all seen that crap
Guest/Expert
anyway.
Steven Crowder
Oh, I guess that's it.
Josh Firestein
All right.
Steven Crowder
Substance, by the way, on cnn, there's the contributor who just always. He always asks for a hoagie. Here to hoagie request.
Josh Firestein
Oh, dude, you know who that is? That's Alex Crohn's.
Steven Crowder
He looked like he just burped in his mouth and hopes no one noticed it. So you tell me. Make the. Hey, that's part of the critics score. Why? If you go look at the critics, the verified critics, and Rotten Tomatoes, just look through. I've looked through hundreds of them. Most of them are complete and total crap.
Gerald
Yeah.
Steven Crowder
Oh, by the way, not only that, I went to film school. Didn't finish. Well, my brother did. But that's what I. That's what I studied. Right. This is what I'VE done. Why not? But that. Oh, I'm willing to bet there's some kind of racial or ethnic component to it. Perhaps a gendered component. So a lot of people, 97% would leave no room for people going, hey, it should be Greek, or hey, you know, the guy should be a man. Again, no one is having any criticisms. But then when you look at people trying to quell criticisms online, that tells you how significant the criticisms must be. So here's Walter Masterson. Megan, the case saying the Odyssey is a fictional story never happened. Helena of Troy was the daughter of Zeus and Queen Theta. Zeus came to Theta as a swan and Helen of Troy was hatched from an egg. Homer never used the words at this fair haired to describe Helen. Sappho used Anthus to describe Helen 300 years later. And again, this entire story is made up. Homer never even refers to the Trojan horse as a horse. Read a book. Then someone else, this guy Michael Olaine, wrote, helen of Troy was not Greek. She is a pure myth. Greece did not exist in this period. Art and culture are not literal. They are works of creative imagination. The Odyssey is not history. It is a literary creation. Then Lupita Nyong', o, who was in the film, said in ELLS magazine, this is a mythological story. Okay, cool. Now do black ones. Do it with Wakanda, bitch. Do it with anything that is seen as distinctly black, distinctly Indian, distinctly Latina, Latino, Latinx also. I get it. Art is open to interpretation. But in this case, it's not. Someone taking a real story, by your own admission, and interpreting it as a film, you are taking someone's work of creative fiction. So shouldn't that not be open to interpretation? As far as creative vision, in other words, it's already been expressed by the person who created it.
Josh Firestein
Greek, it could be. It could be any number of things you take issue with. Home Alone 3 had no Joe Pesci.
Steven Crowder
It's true.
Josh Firestein
Hated it. Yep.
Steven Crowder
Had French Stewart.
Gerald
I know, I forget that.
Steven Crowder
Who, by the way, would have been a better cast as Achilles. I think my heel is bothering me again. Oh boy. Better than a tranny.
Gerald
Nice.
Steven Crowder
Here.
Josh Firestein
You know what? Well, yeah, she wasn't cast as Achilles.
Steven Crowder
No, I know. They made up some new thing that they cast, right? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They just mentioned somewhere, like the bravest and best warrior among us. But you never see it, like it didn't go through rerun.
Gerald
Sure, 100%.
Steven Crowder
Let's just let you know, someone who's not me. Make the case because I'm a white supremacist. After all, I show up on time. Here's Dwayne the Rock Johnson, all natural, talking about how this kind of only applies to white Western culture, but not any other. You shouldn't appropriate any other ones. As a movie and as a character, I'm lucky to get the part. But also the part is so much deeper than just a part. This is my ancestors, and it's my.
Gerald
It's my soul.
Steven Crowder
Of all the films that I've been, this one is special because it is about our culture, our Polynesian culture, and it's our. Sam.

The tone is fast-paced, irreverent, and combative, blending politics and humor. Crowder employs sarcasm, parody, and direct personal challenges, often defaulting to a "culture warrior" stance. The language is colloquial, at times crude, designed to lampoon both left-wing and establishment positions.
Returning from hiatus, Crowder’s episode is a potent combination of comedic takes on recent news, assertive conservative commentary, and cultural criticism. The conversation ranges from lighthearted ribbing over summer haircuts to serious, detailed breakdowns of student loan reforms and media manipulation. The centerpiece is Crowder’s response to public accusations by Candace Owens, paired with his takedown of biased education and media institutions. If you missed the episode, this breakdown covers all the substance: irreverent, combative, and sticking to Crowder’s brand—no sacred cows, plenty of gags, and strong political takes.
