Welcome back to Macro dosing. It is Thursday. It's March 19th and we are in the studio. It's myself, Big T, Aryan. We got no Mad Dog today. Mackenzie flying solo. Mad dog is out at the first four covering her her Miami Redhawks. And yeah. So we'll know by the time the show comes out if they made it to the Friday. All right, guys, quick question. How are these Shady Rays? Basically the same as the 200 sunglasses that I used to buy. I'm not exaggerating. Film me.
Aryan
Let me put these on.
Big T
They feel every bit as premium as the expensive sunglasses I've worn. I like that pair a lot right there. That's a, a new shade that I'm going to try out this summer. A little bit of a red tint in the lenses.
Aryan
It's got a little orange to it. I might, I might. I was told we had some upstairs and then the guy wasn't. I haven't Gotten them yet, but that looks.
Big T
That would look good. I need these on a fall Sunday too, or fall Saturday. We've got the blue ones right here.
Aryan
Let me try the blue.
Big T
These are my babies. My baby blues. The great thing about Shady Rays is if you're wearing them on the lake, if you're wearing them at the beach, if you're at the game and you lose them, doesn't matter, they're going to replace them. If you knock them off the dock, they fall into the water, they replace them. You sit on them, if you break them, they replace them. And the crazy part is they're actually like premium sunglasses. They feel great, they look good and they've got the polarized lenses that cut the glare hard. Very clear optics. You're going to love Shady Rays and you're going to love their lost and broken protection. We've teamed up with Shady Rays. We have an exclusive offer. Go to shadyrays.com use code macro. Get 40 off two or more polarized sunglasses. It's 40 off. Try for yourself. The shades rated five stars by over 300, 000 people. They're great sunglasses and if you lose them, they hook you up, they take care and they will. They get the lost and broken protection. The best in the business. All right, welcome back to Macrodosing. It's Thursday, it's March 19th. If you're listening to this Thursday morning, it's in preparation, I think for the NCAA tournament.
Aryan
Yeah. Do you think our. Do our downloads go down on this show?
Big T
I think they probably do because.
Aryan
Because you're all day.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
We got the people that would listen in the afternoon and that's out. We're still going to get the mornings. If this might be the last piece of like non sports media that a lot of people consume before the weekend.
Aryan
So thank you for that.
Big T
Yeah, appreciate that. So if you want to just do like a pallet cleanser, not think about sports for a little bit before maybe we'll talk some sports too actually. But it might be the last thing that you listen to.
Aryan
Maybe you save this for Friday morning because Thursday, all day basketball and then you've got it. You've got to reset quickly. To be back at it on Friday. So a nice Friday morning, you know?
Big T
Yeah. And if you lose, if you lose a lot of bets on Thursday, you're not going to want to wake up and listen to, like, the. The sports talk radio. You're not going to listen to any basketball podcasts. Listen to us. We'll take your mind off it for a second because we're going to talk about nice, light, easy topics like whether or not Mark derosa should be in prison.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
You think jail or prison? Big T. Mark D. Rosa, the. The manager of the U.S. baseball team in the World Baseball Classic. They go down to Venezuela. They lose three to two.
Aryan
I had wild swings of emotions last night, so I was watching the game with Jeff Lowe, and the first seven innings are just torture. We were at a bar. You remember the Greg discussion we had the other day, where he was loudly cheering for Vanderbilt? Uh, we had a situation like that with a guy cheering for Venezuela at this bar. And we're just three up, three down. Three up, three down. Can't get a runner in scoring position the entire game, and this guy's just over there clapping, venezuela, yay. And Jeff and I are both really, really getting annoyed at this point. Then finally, eighth inning, Bryce Harper to run. Cockshot. Just 450 dead center. The place goes nuts. And then immediately, we, instead of bringing in the best reliever in baseball right now, who I believe hitters are over the last 50 against, we bring in Garrett Whitlock, who had pitched well in the world baseball class. I'm not pinning this all on him because I guess derosa made an agreement with the Padres that he would only bring in Mason Miller in a save situation.
Big T
Yeah. So why is that? I was trying to think from, like, a player safety standpoint, like, what reason possible.
Aryan
And the Cubs, I guess, asked Venezuela as well. Don't use Daniel Palencia. I think they said it all. And then the manager was like, well, what a safe situation. Like to win the world baseball class. And they were like, fine. So that's when they brought him in. We got to get rid of that. If you're playing in the thing, then you play in it.
Eric
What?
Big T
I agree.
Aryan
When they're on Team usa, they are on Team usa. They're not. I think Ronald Acuna had a. An Instagram comment on a post where they were talking about the organizations asking the teams to, you know, not do stuff with the players. Whatever he said, we're not playing for those teams right now. We're playing for Venezuela.
Big T
Yeah, it's. It's actually absurd that you're going to like micro you have you got a different set of rules for these guys based on like what their home club would. Would like you to do.
Aryan
And then had we brought in Mason Miller in the ninth, I'm pretty confident he would have not allowed a run. And then Venezuela presumably would not have used palencia in the 9th because they agreed to not use him unless it was a safe situation too.
Big T
That's crazy. And when this tournament started. Actually, no, I'm going to take that back. It was when Mark derosa said that thing about like, oh, we've made it to the next round, whatever, when we actually hadn't. At that point, I think I still thought that Mark DeRosa was a manager of a team that I just didn't care about. Like you had told me. Mark DeRosa, Pittsburgh Pirates manager.
Aryan
What you thought he was a manager?
Big T
I thought that he got hired like this season or last season maybe. And it just slipped through the cracks and I was like, surely the United States baseball team.
Aryan
No.
Big T
Would have a major league manager as their manager.
Aryan
No, he works for mlb. I know.
Big T
And then I looked up. I like, wait, this guy's a studio analyst.
Aryan
MacKenzie was probably his producer. Yep.
Big T
Has he MLB Central. But wait, actually not like producer, but I definitely edited like elements for the show that's like the US Is playing in flag football in the Olympics. Head coach Terry Bradshaw.
Aryan
I mean, those at least don't. There's not a professional league with coaches or that I'm aware of.
Big T
It's crazy though, that Mark DeRosa is just a TV guy.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
He played though, right? Was he good or. Yeah, he's pretty good. I know Big T doesn't.
Aryan
I don't know that that's the word idea.
Big T
He was, he was. He was a good baseball player. Okay. Now also, he just didn't bet Cal Raleigh last night.
Aryan
Well, Cal Raleigh stunk the whole time.
Big T
I know. He's fine with that. I know he's stunk, but also he's. He mashes and we needed a. We needed.
Aryan
But he hadn't.
Big T
We needed a home run. I'm okay going down with. With our best players if they're not like he's. I don't know. I. I also don't like the fact I like scubal. I like him a lot.
Aryan
So this scumbag.
Big T
This is not anti scumbag.
Aryan
Done forever.
Big T
The fact that he showed up last night wearing the team USA Hockey jersey, he's like, I'm here to support my guys in any way. That I can, like, I understand you could have pitched. I understand the sentiment behind it. Like, you don't want to leave your boys. But also, like, he's in a tough spot because he's got some money that's going to be coming his way. And if he does get injured, he could potentially cost him.
Aryan
Then don't play at all.
Big T
Right, Right. He could potentially cost himself hundreds of millions of dollars. I don't think that's an exaggeration. Right.
Aryan
Yeah. I mean that. And that's a. Then don't. Then don't be on the team, Teresa.
Big T
UCL doesn't recover the way that he wants to. Hundreds of millions of dollars he could cost himself.
Aryan
But he did pitch in a relatively meaningless game for a couple innings and then was like, hey, I'm leaving, but. But then if we make the championship, I want to come back and be in the dugout.
Big T
Well, he also said that he was going to stay, and then he had a meeting, presumably with Scott Boris, and then he's like, okay, yeah, I, I do actually have to leave. But then you show up wearing the. I don't get it.
Aryan
No. Yeah, I, I'm not a fan of Tarek Scuba right now. I'm not a fan of Mark Derosa. Not a fan of the offense last night in general. Yeah, it was a. It was. But. But when I said the violent swings of emotion. So we tie the game, then we lose. I'm seething when we lose. But then I watch for a little while and I watch Ronald out there, who was in the same spot where he tore his acl. And like, those guys are like, I saw Eugenio Suarez lead the team in like a great prayer. And like, they were all. I was like, you know what? Good for these guys. Like, they wanted it so bad. That's so cool for Ronald. Then I saw Mikel Garcia, who won the mvp, tweeted like, haha, USA clowns. Then I got more mad than I was the first time. And now I, I, I, you know, next day, whatever. I'm happy for Ronald. But. But, man, we. The. Whenever the next World Baseball Classic is, which I think is in flux because the Olympics, like, they don't know what the deal is going to be. We need the real, actual Avengers. If you say no to playing on that team, like, you are not a patriot. Like, I mean, there were plenty of guys, like, pitching especially, I think I saw last night, Garrett Crochet said no, Max Freed said no. And I get it. Like, there, there is an injury risk that. That happens when you're playing sports. If we don't win the next World Baseball Classic, we should quit playing in it, because at some point, we got to win one.
Big T
Listen, Big T. I don't. I don't disagree. I don't. We should never lose the national pastime.
Aryan
I mean, if we lost one out of four, like, you know, whatever. There are other good countries at baseball, but I. We can't keep losing these things. It's embarrassing. And Venezuela, good ball players over there. Great team, but, I mean, Eduardo Rodriguez made us look like the Colorado Rockies. The Nationals beat Team Venezuela five to one a couple weeks ago, if that gives you.
Big T
You know, that actually makes me feel super excited about the Nats this year.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Let's go. Brady House back.
Aryan
Tennessee commitment.
Big T
Dylan Cruz. Maybe. We'll see.
Aryan
But. Yeah, but. Yeah, it stunk.
Big T
Yep. Tough night. Tough night of baseball. I tried to play Freebird before the game just to fire myself up, and I. I ended up not recording the sound for it. I don't know if you saw that video.
Aryan
I was at the bar, so I didn't. I saw you tweet it, but I
Big T
didn't have sound, so. Yeah, if you had. Well, the. The video didn't have sound, so. Ah, you got the full experience if you just watched any of it.
Aryan
Yeah, I just scrolled past it.
Big T
Yeah. It's an all time. All time screw up by me. And I. I do put a little bit of the blame on myself for that.
Aryan
I was dominating the Touch Tunes at this bar. You remember our guy from Milwaukee last year who gave us all the Touch Tunes credits?
Big T
Yep.
Aryan
So I. I own the Touch Tunes every place I go into. And I played Freebird. We had. You know, we were trying to get the vibes up, and it just never worked.
Big T
Show me your. Your history, your Touchstones history.
Aryan
I mean, it was all country music, and then Freebird. I didn't know you could do a history.
Big T
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. It's very helpful.
Aryan
Another employee from this company found out the bar we were at and carpet bombed the Touch tunes with a couple of interesting songs. Where's my history?
Big T
It should be right there.
Aryan
Oh, here it is. Yeah, there's some. Some Wallen, some Ella Langley, some Luke Combs.
Big T
You played Rocky Top?
Aryan
Was there Luke Combs? Yeah, I did play Rocky Top.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
It's smart because I was wearing USA Stuff, so nobody knew it was me. I was inconspicuous.
Big T
Could have been anybody there.
Aryan
Obviously. Every time I go to a Touch Tunes, I start out with Neon Moon. That's the first Every time.
Big T
Good pick.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Maybe the best song ever. Aaron, what are you up to today?
Eric
I'm chilling. Sorry. I just don't know what the. Going on in the baseball world right now, so I couldn't partake in.
Aryan
It's bad times for us.
Big T
I bet you would have really liked the World Baseball Classic.
Eric
Probably, but there's too much to follow. I gotta follow the brewers first. That's all. That's all I got going on.
Aryan
You would love watching the, like, Venezuela, Dominican Republic. Those teams when. When they're out there, they are.
Eric
I mean, most. Most of the brewers are from there.
Aryan
Yeah. Cheerio. And. And all those guys. But they bat flip to the moon and they like. They treat it like it is.
Eric
Yo, bad flipping. Should be. That should just be a thing. I love that.
Aryan
I think it pretty much is here at this point. Like, I think 10 years ago, pitchers got really upset by. As long as it's not crazy.
Eric
Stop doing. Stop doing them, you know, high fastball. I agree with your feelings, I think,
Aryan
but it's like if you hit a walk off homer, throw it to the moon, but if you, you know, down three to one in the fourth inning, that. I think that's what, that's what makes pitchers mad.
Eric
It still looks good on the highlights, though. You know what I mean?
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
Mm. Yeah, I gotta. I got a. I got a question for you, Big T. Yeah. There's a guy by the name of James Fishback. Have you heard of him?
Aryan
Yes, I am vaguely familiar with him.
Eric
All right, so for those that don't know, James Fishback is running to,
Aryan
I think, governor of Florida.
Big T
Yes.
Eric
For Ron DeSantis spot. And he has. This is conflicting with your ideas. I want to see where you stand on it. He's running to have onlyfans girls pay a 50% sin tax. So if you're in the state of Florida and you are on OnlyFans, he says you should pay a 50% sin tax. Would say you.
Aryan
Yeah. This was he. At once every three or four weeks, he has a new thing come out that he's like, I. I get what he's going for. But also like, I don't know. I don't. I would. I don't think it's a smart policy to advocate for if you're trying to get elected. Like, I see where he's coming from. I don't know. I'm not, I'm not staunchly pro or anti. I mean, they would just all move to another state. But also, like, you're supposed to not have Income tax there. So.
Eric
Yeah, no, I just thought that was hilarious.
Aryan
Yeah, he's had a few syntax.
Big T
Yeah, I don't, I don't like the idea of the government determining like, like punishing industries that they think are morally dubious, like at their discretion, just make it illegal then. But yeah, yeah, by like imposing higher fines on. And usually the people that are most vocal about that type of thing are the people that subscribe. Like, let's see, open up the account, dude. Let's see, let's see the credit card statement.
Eric
He got four or five subscriptions easy.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
Have you seen his down payment assistance thing?
Eric
I have not.
Aryan
You should look into that. I forget all the details, but he wants to have like a $10,000 down payment assistance for if you're buying your first house. Or like I, I forget all the details, but it was, it was an interesting policy, but he's, he's an interesting guy.
Big T
Those are, Yeah, I, I like those policies when they have like first time home buyers assistance. I think by and large those are usually good ideas. This guy is the psycho though, right? Fish back. Is he the one that told the other guy like, pull up, let's see how black you are?
Aryan
I'm not familiar with that.
Big T
The guy that he's running against.
Aryan
Oh, well, he is running against Byron Donald, right?
Big T
Yeah. Who's a, who's a black guy running for the Republican nominee, right?
Aryan
Yeah. He's a congressman, I think in Naples. One of my favorite spots.
Big T
Yeah. So fish back was like shooting a gun and he's like, pull up, let's see how black you really are.
Eric
Okay.
Aryan
I'm unfamiliar with that interaction.
Big T
This guy is, he's probably not, I hope he's not going to win.
Eric
Our political climate is the funniest it's been in my lifetime. This, this man right now is sitting, I just went to his, his page. He's right now, he's sitting in front of the White House with a small podium and he says, I challenged Donald Trump to tell me why we are in Iran, which I don't hate.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
But he's definitely out there by himself just in front of a mic right now, dog.
Big T
That's good. Like, I, I, I like that position. Maybe like don't threaten to shoot your opponent if, if he's black. Can we work on that part? I don't think that's too much to ask.
Aryan
You can't.
Eric
None of us are perfect. You can't, you know, I mean, enough
Big T
of these purity tests
Eric
accept me flaws and all. Yeah.
Big T
Hey, this is PFT from part of my take a terrible call by the refs, a back breaking interception in the red zone. Brutal clock management. At the end of a half when the season has you ready to snap, don't break, snap into a Slim Jim instead. Slim Jim is not just a meat stick, it's the og. Slim Jim is the bold spicy snack that snaps back. No fumbles, no bad calls, just bold flavor that can never be sidelined. So if your team has you feeling like you're ready to snap, call a timeout and snap into a Slim Jim. Speaking of the weird political climate, I, I texted the group chat this last night because I saw some of the comments. We put out a clip of us talking about the Tucker Carlson story where he is, he's being accused by the government of potentially talking behind the scenes to the leadership in Iran. And then that could potentially be a crime. Obviously there's a lot of stuff that we talked about in that discussion that wasn't in the clip. And if you have any context to the show, like we kind of understand which way the wind blows when it comes to how these things get sorted out. But then I, I started getting called a lib for almost not taking the side of, but for presenting the side of the story that Donald Trump is putting out. And then I was confused for a moment and I was like, what? So if you, so if you look at the flowchart and it's Tucker and Donald Trump fighting, if you take the side of Donald Trump, you're a lib, right? Is that kind of what if we're saying like who's, who's less lib?
Eric
It's getting, it's getting spooky out here, man. I don't even know anymore because I,
Big T
I've always, I've maintained the, the, the fact that if you disagree with anything Trump says, that doesn't make you a lib either. Because half the shit that he does, if another president did it, it would fall right into like liberal president's policies. Like, I'm not talking about what the things he says or some of the like culture war stuff, but his policies by and large, you cannot call him conservative. He's like, he's a mix of he's himself is what he is. But I guess that makes, that would make sense then, that if Tucker and Trump are fighting and yeah, Trump would be the lib and or at the very least the neocon and then Tucker would be the former neocon who's learned from his neocon failures, is now more actual conservative. Did I get that. Right.
Aryan
Tradcon.
Big T
Tradcon.
Aryan
Do people say that? Should we, should we try to make that a thing?
Big T
Tradcon. Yeah, that's a. I think you have
Eric
to be chronically online to even attempt to understand what you motherfuckers is talking about right now.
Big T
I think, I think it's hard to follow.
Eric
That's hard to follow, dog.
Big T
Tradcon owns the Jaguars, doesn't he?
Aryan
That's good.
Big T
Yeah, it's good. Thank you.
Eric
You've seen that Nicholas Cage. Gif or he's. Yeah, the wind's blowing it. That's what it's been like since I don't got Twitter no more.
Big T
It's nice. It's nice.
Eric
It's amazing. It's. It's. It's a great, great. Should have did it a while back, but it's amazing.
Big T
So. So most of the comments are saying that Tucker is being set up by the Israeli government because Tucker has been anti APAC and anti Israel, and so he's being set up somehow and then got turned into the CIA by the Israeli forces working inside our own federal government. And this is where it gets really dicey. This is where it gets really dicey. So I'm going to try to explain my thoughts the best that I can. Israel is not. Israel and Jewish people are two separate things. Yes, Israel is a country that's predominantly inhabited by Jewish people, but Israel and Jewish people are not the same thing. So if you criticize Israel, that should not be taken to be criticizing Jewish people. Because what happens if you do that? Then it quickly becomes a situation where anytime Israel would make a mistake or do something that we would disagree with, it's an attack on all Jewish people, which it shouldn't be.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
So I do think that there's a lot. We've got a big history of working alongside of and also sometimes like back channeling in opposition to Israeli intelligence. And there's definitely a possibility that some stuff like that is going down right now. So I don't. We're. We're in a big time wait for all the facts to come out about what's going on with Tucker talking behind the scenes to, to Iran.
Aryan
Do you think anything ever happens with that? I just can't see them doing it.
Big T
I think what Tucker, like, trying, like
Aryan
trying to really go after.
Big T
I think. I think the by far the most likely thing to happen would be if there was anything. Trump calls him into the Oval Offices, like, hey, I got you.
Aryan
What? We already did.
Big T
Yeah, yeah, I, I got you. Well, that that might have been to like feed him misinformation. And again, this might be information that's being fed to us through outside channels. But I think what would happen would be Trump calls him and is like, hey, I, I see that you've been doing all this stuff now you're going to work with me and you're going to owe me favors otherwise.
Aryan
But do you think Tucker would go for that?
Big T
Yes. I don't trust Tucker as a big time cheerleader to the Iraq war.
Aryan
Yeah. But he's been going against, you know, the establishment recently.
Big T
But I, I, my, my theory, or I guess my worldview was very much informed by who was in favor of that and who was anti that. So that's why I will never trust Hillary Clinton because she was dumb enough to go along with what everyone saw was bullshit. That's why I'm not going to trust Tucker Carlson for saying, oh, I, I was wrong then, but I learned from that. And so now I'm right. I don't really if it was 25 years ago, but if you're dumb, Big T, if you'd been around for, if you're dumb enough to fall for what they were doing, then I just don't think that you have a seat at the table of like grown up political brains.
Aryan
And that's fine.
Big T
Yeah. Because it did like and it, I actually think that it should be, it should be that way. Yeah, it was a long time. 25 years ago. A million people died. A million, I'll say it again, a million people died. I think it's fair to be like, you should not make any more choices ever and you should probably be in prison.
Eric
Agree.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
I, I would say that everyone who voted in the Senate at least to authorize George Bush, including, including you, Hillary, prison, agreed.
Eric
One of the biggest clearings I've seen. Funny as hell. Not a fan of Tucker Carlson, clearly. But when he interviewed Ted Cruz, that was one of the best clearings I've seen in a long time. Yeah, that's, that shit was, that shit was well done.
Aryan
He was waiting for him when he was like you, you don't know the population of the country that you want to invade. Well, that one, he was waiting for Ted Cruz to be like, Ted Cruz finally goes, what's pop? 92 million. He had it ready to go.
Eric
I mean that one and then the whole is Israel and the Bible, the one that's talking about the modern day nation state of Israel, they cleared, cleared him on that as well. Like the whole was like, God damn That's, but that's how you hold politicians accountable. I wish they would do Trump like that. Nobody wants to sit down and talk to Trump like that. It's just hilarious. But like he cleared him on that. That was great. Like I said, I give credit where it's due.
Big T
Yes, I, I agree with that. As much as I'm not a fan of him. I, I, and I don't fully trust him. I can tell when he's making good points. And that interview was a good example of that where he just like one by one very calmly laid out his case. And then Ted Cruz was just like getting so exasperated because I thought Ted Cruz thought like in theory, I thought we were going to be on the same side in this interview.
Eric
I thought it was going to be a softball. He was going to talk with a buddy. Oh no. Yeah.
Big T
But so then, then the thing Tucker does a little bit in that interview and I've watched a lot of talkers, so I understand what, how he operates. He was making excellent points in that interview, excellent points about the relationship between Israel and our country and how they, you know, the, the APAC funding of Congress people and whether or not they should be registered as like a foreign lobbyist organization. I think he made a lot of good points in that. And then he put, he'll like throw little things out because he has to always, you know, people will call him anti Semitic. And again, I think if you're, if you're criticizing the country of Israel, that does not make you anti Semitic.
Eric
I'm just be honest with you. You can qualify that all you want to. There are people out there. So that just, it don't register. It's not gonna register.
Big T
But my point is that if he
Eric
is now an anti Semite in their head.
Big T
But what I'm saying is if you, if you call somebody anti Semitic for criticizing anything that Israel ever does, that's actually, that's anti Semitic to do that because that is lumping every Jewish person in, across the world with the decisions made by Israel's government and saying that they're all secret foreign agents for Israel's government. So if I'm criticizing Benjamin Netanyahu, that means that I'm criticizing Jewish people everywhere, which is not, that's, that's how bad, really bad things happen where there's like massive stereotypes against Jewish people and they get treated like second class citizens across the world. That's dangerous. So that's, that's all I'm saying. And, but Tucker will do this thing where, you know, because he's used to dealing with accusations of being anti Semitic, and he'll, like, laugh those off. But he. He does throw in tiny little dog whistles here and there about, like, a big secret group controlling the world or controlling the media or controlling financing. And he'll never come out and say it because he knows that that's, you know, that would be very bad for him. And it is, like, outwardly anti Semitic, but he. He does these tiny little dog whistles, and then if anybody asks him about the dog whistles, then he'll act like they're crazy for hearing the dog whistles. But what he's really doing, he's. He's got a segment of his audience that does want to hear that sort of thing. So he's giving him little, like, silent pats on the head, like, hey, I'm with you. But then you call him out, he's like, you're. You're crazy. You're acting. You're acting crazy. I can't do the tucker. Like big titas. That's a good impression.
Aryan
I don't think it was that good, but.
Big T
No, it's really good. There's also. There's some other. Some other news that came out yesterday. I don't even know if I want to touch on it, but it's pretty funny. The New York Post is reporting that Mojtaba Khomeini is gay. So the new
Aryan
Iranian leader, right?
Big T
I believe so, yeah. I don't know. It's the new supreme leader. I think things are very much up in the air over there.
Aryan
The report I saw was that Trump has been briefed that the new Iranian leader is gay.
Big T
Yes. And that his father did not want to pass the. The leadership down to him because he's gay. I'm. This does seem like it might. It might be disinformation. This is a very funny campaign to run against somebody who's like, stepping into being the. The highest official in a fundamental Islamic country is to have, like, your op report that you're gay.
Eric
That's like. This shit's just so funny at this point. This is. He's gonna laugh at this life thing, though.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
Now it's like, now the political opposition, but. Yeah, but he's gay, though, right? Is that what you want?
Big T
Right. He's, like, killed in the airstrike. He's. Now he's gay. He's gay and dead. It just seems like we're. I don't. I don't know what the purpose of it. I guess it would theoretically make things less stable for him. If he had people looking at him sideways.
Eric
Yeah, he'd get overthrown. You can't in, in that region. You can't. Can't be gay over there.
Big T
But I would. I would. I'm going to wait for more facts to come out about whether or not he's gay.
Aryan
Monitor the situation.
Big T
Yeah, we're. We're monitoring an ongoing situation.
Aryan

Eric
Here's a funnier story though. I have you heard of this Afroman?
Big T
All right. So yeah, kind of. But I'm glad. Do you know more about it?
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
All right. Afroman is my, he's my guy. I've. I've seen Afroman in concert I think four or five times.
Eric
That's. That's amazing actually.
Big T
Yeah, Last time I saw him was in Austin. He came out on stage, it was like a 50 person venue and he had his, his ipod that was plugged in to the speaker system. And so like in between songs he would get on the click wheel and then, and then move it around until he got to the next song and then he would press play and then sing along with it.
Aryan
How many artists have you seen more than four times? Because I have seen my favorite artist in concert.
Big T
I think 4am I like Sneaky one of the top like 100 Afroman fans.
Aryan
If I hear someone to an artist concert four times I'm like wow, you love that artist.
Big T
Let me make sure that it's four first.
Eric
I'm not a big concert goer, but I've definitely never been to say artist twice. Not shunning that but I just don't like crowds. But like four times is a lot though.
Big T
I would say it might only be three. I'm going back. I might have. Exactly.
Aryan
I think it's three still alive.
Big T
I think it's only three, but above
Eric
that, I'm sure there's. I'm sure there's some like, super fans who travel to see each show and shit like that.
Big T
I would say you're up there. The Mighty, Mighty Boss Tones. Real Big fish. Goldfinger, Blink 182, Bad Religion Drop.
Aryan
You've been to all these more than four times?
Big T
Yeah,
Aryan
I don't think I've been to that many concerts.
Big T
Pie Tasters, maybe. Cock Spar.
Aryan
I'm sorry. Run that last one by me.
Big T
Cock Sparrow, like Rooster Fighter.
Aryan
Okay.
Big T
It's a British band. Alkaline Trio.
Aryan
You sound like Andy and Parks and Rec. Naming all the names of his band. Yeah, we were Scarecrow Boat.
Eric
Yeah, yeah.
Aryan
Handrail Suicide.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
Three Skin. Five Skin.
Big T
That's Fair. Nappy Roots. Bone Thugs.
Aryan
How many concerts have you been to?
Big T
I've been to a lot of concerts. Skynyrd, oh, Toots and the Mate Halls.
Aryan
I mean, you've named nearly a hundred
Big T
just in this Frank Turner. These are been like, if. If you're going to be in town, I'm going to go see you. I'm going to try to at least.
Aryan
Right. But that's. You've been to all those five or more times?
Big T
I would say four more times for all of them. Yeah. And I went to a lot more concerts when I was younger than I do now.
Aryan
Right.
Big T
So it's fallen off a lot in the last. I'd say really, since I moved to New York.
Aryan
So total, 200 concerts. How many?
Big T
Probably more.
Aryan
Wow.
Big T
My wife. Yeah. More than 200.
Eric
Have you ever been to one of those, like, festivals? It seems like your thing, like Running man or Burning Man.
Big T
No, no. I used to go to HF Festival every year. That was our local radio show that we had, our local radio station that we had in D.C. and it would be a one to two day festival. It started off one, then changed into two at RFK Stadium. And so we would go out for that day and it would cost like 40 bucks and you'd see 20 bands. Those are fun. But now I don't. I would not go to like. I've never been to Lallapalooza.
Aryan
I went to Windy City Smoke out this past year. First and last time I'll ever do that.
Big T
Just right in, right out, brother.
Aryan
It was a nightmare.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
And it was just everything. I don't like shoulder to shoulder, hot drunk people. Like, it was. It was just not. It was not for me, I've seen
Big T
Sturgill Simpson five times too.
Eric
Congrats, man. I love that.
Aryan
For you, I enjoy a concert where I have a seat.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
As you get older, you do appreciate
Aryan
the seats standing outside. Not for tea.
Big T
All right. So sorry. Afroman.
Eric
Yeah. That's a lot of concerts. Dog a ton.
Big T
Palmdale. Come back to me.
Aryan
Because you're all. You're also a sports guy, so I assume you've been to a ton of games as well, because generally someone who's been to that many concerts, I would imagine does not go to sporting events.
Big T
AC DC another one I've seen.
Aryan
I'm sure, I'm sure there's 10 more
Big T
five or six times.
Eric
Listen to a word you said. That's, that's, that's impressive. That's a lot of. You're just a goer of things.
Big T
Like you go, not anymore. Not anymore.
Eric
Doing what's, what's your. How do you feel that void now? Because that's a commitment to go. Like, that's like every other week you got some going on. Like, what's, what's your thing now? What do you do now?
Big T
I mean, now I work a lot.
Eric
Golf.
Big T
Yeah, I golf a little bit. I don't. I'm not like a. An obsessive golfer. But yeah, I, I just. I kind of replaced it with mostly work because my work's very fun, so I don't mind it. So, yeah, that's. That's pretty much what I do. I work, I go home. I occasionally have a beer. Occasionally have seven beers.
Eric
Okay. All right. Vote for me. Head, Ass. I got you
Big T
once a month. I have 12 beers. Yeah. Pretty standard stuff for a 40 year old in America.
Eric
Got you. Yeah. Great guy. Afroman. Afroman. So the story is that the local police department raided his house and upon raiding his house, they allegedly held guns up. And so they were looking for trafficking and they were looking for drugs. And so what happened was they, they, they found none of that. They confiscated his. I guess he had like six grand or something like that. They only gave five grand back. So this is, this is his testimony. And they broke his door down. And upon the security camera, it shows like all of the shit that they did and so on. Some of the stuff that they did. Now that could be very traumatizing. I can understand it, you know what I'm saying? Police bust down the door and he's like, what? He has no idea what's going on. Nothing ever came of it. They didn't find anything. But in the aftermath, him Being an artist, he takes a lot of the security footage and starts making songs about them. So he makes songs about all the sheriffs and all the deputies and all the people involved. And I think it's a whole little package project called Lemon Pound Cake. And reason why it's called Lemon Pound Cake is because on the security camera footage, there was some lemon pound cake. Yeah. And one of the heavier set dudes was like staring at it. And so he was just basically saying how, you know, you fat, you wanted my mom's lemon pound cake. And he did it. It's a funny ass song. So he's just putting out song after songs, basically diss tracks about these people talking about how he slept with his wife, you fat, you this, you that. He's going off on him now a year later. This was like in 2024. A year later, they sue him for defamation, emotional distress, all of that stuff in a civil lawsuit. And the court proceedings have been hilarious because he's not backing down. He's like, y', all, you broke into my shit. I said, I'm not allowed to use my. My security footage. And so that's what the whole thing is about. Can he use his own security footage that's on his to talk about the officers that came in, they're saying that it caused them emotional distress. There's this one lady sheriff who's like a little bit heavier set and she. And he like mimicked her with another heavier set woman who's chasing after her. And in the. And in the court case, she's on the stand crying when the song is playing. I don't believe them tears one bit to keep the beam, but whole shit is hilarious. If they win this case, I feel like that sets a horrible precedent that you could just bust into somebody's house and then sue them for any kind of public backlash. That's insane to me. So I think this case is going to get thrown out, but I guess the jury is going to deliberate. So probably when this podcast shows Thursday or Friday, we'll have a story about. About what the. What the jury decides. But whole shit is hilarious. If you haven't heard Lemon Pound Cake, run it up. Shit is comedy. Pure comedy.
Big T
Yeah, I say free Afroman. I stand with that. So I didn't realize this, but the first song that he ever wrote was called Harry Carrey. And it was a diss song about a student that would make fun like a bully. And so he got in trouble while he was in middle school. He got kicked out of school for sagging his pants. And he made a mixtape about his teacher that kicked him out of school, and he sold it to other teachers. He sold 400 copies about how he got kicked out of school by his teacher. So this is like kind of the same thing that he's doing right now.
Eric
That's how he expresses himself.
Big T
Yeah. You get in trouble, well, I'm gonna make music about you.
Eric
Yeah. That's how you express yourself. This is America, Jack. And there's another funny part. The dude's wife, one of the sheriff's wife, I believe I'm getting this correctly. But she got pulled to the stand, the one that he said he slept with. Because he's like, I had his wife bent over like that. They asked her like, does. Do these songs cause you emotional stress and, like, you know, damage? And are you hurt by her? She's like, no. She's like. They were like, not at all. She's like, no. She's like, I don't. It doesn't do anything. And he's. She was like, well, what if you were still married? She's like, probably, yeah. Because, you know, it's my husband, but. Right. But she's like, as of now. And she's like, no, I don't. I don't care.
Big T
I love it. Oh, so he the. The name of the songs. Will you help me repair my door?
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
Lemon pound Cake, why are you disconnecting my video camera?
Eric
Which is also what they did. They busted his house and disconnected his video camera. Shady.
Big T
Yeah, I'm trying to look up the. The lyrics to Because I Got High. Big T, are you familiar with the song Because I Got High?
Aryan
So, as y' all have been discussing, I looked into this Afro main character, and yes, I have heard that song.
Eric
And Millennial classic.
Aryan
And what's the Colt 45?
Big T
Yeah. Colt 45. Two zigzags, baby. That's.
Eric
I hope. I hope it makes a comeback, you know? I mean, I hope people stream it up because of this story. Getting some extra bread in his pocket, man.
Big T
He makes good music. Listen to Palmdale too. Palmdale is a great song by him.
Aryan
I'm probably not gonna do that, but I appreciate it.
Eric
Do do. Because I got high. I promise you'll like it.
Aryan
I've heard it.
Eric
It's a funny level. Oh, you already heard.
Aryan
Okay.
Eric
Yeah, yeah. Shout out to Afro Man.
Aryan
Does this say deck my balls?
Big T
It sounds. It sounds right? Yeah.
Aryan
From Occult 45. Christmas.
Eric
I haven't heard that. I gotta run. I gotta put that on the Christmas playlist. I gotta be Looking.
Aryan
Go check it out.
Big T
He also did a remix. Hunter got high.
Aryan
Oh, about Biden.
Big T
He was going to get his laptop fixed But Hunter got high.
Aryan
Oh, okay.
Big T
He wasn't gonna show all them dick pics. But Hunter got high.
Aryan
Hey.
Big T
He should have let Hillary bleach the whole hard drive. But Hunter got high. Hunter got high. Hunter got high.
Aryan
That's good.
Big T
He wasn't gonna mess with the hose. But Hunter got high.
Aryan
Okay, I think he probably was.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
He was gonna take them all out on a boat. But Hunter got high. He's the smartest man Joe ever knew in his life. Till Hunter got high. Hunter got high. Hunter something. Listen, you would love Afroman.
Aryan
Yeah, no, that's good stuff.
Big T
Respect.
Aryan
Feeling lucky?
Big T
You should be.
Aryan

Aryan

Big T
Let's see what else we got in the news today, Big T. Well, you
Aryan
were mentioning earlier that you've been monitoring the situation. Have you seen the bar that's opening specifically dedicated to monitoring the situation?
Big T
I have.
Aryan
Polymarket is, is getting in the bar game. They are opening a bar in New York City this Friday. Bad day to open a non sports bar. I would say maybe wait three weeks.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
But yeah, they're opening a bar and it's going to have all Poly Market stuff all in it to monitor every situation that you could want to monitor.
Big T
I have a question. Are we sure this is a real story?
Aryan
They're the ones that put it out, right?
Big T
Exactly. Polymarket is very good at like trolling. The more discussion you have about Polymarket, the better for them. Polymarket and Kalshee both are very good about not necessarily adhering to the truth that much but just doing shit to get them in the news.
Aryan
Yeah, it does seem weird that they would say like we're doing situation.
Eric
What does that mean?
Aryan
That's the new thing the kids are saying anytime something happens, like that's a big deal. They're like, I'm monitoring the situation. It's kind of a meme.
Eric
Got you.
Big T
And it could be real. Listen, it could be real because I do see that, like, they got pictures of it and stuff. I just don't, I don't trust anything that those companies put out. In fact, I. Is there a market that you can bet on that Poly market and Kalshi will be, like, put under regulation and have to change their entire business model within the next, like, year maybe? Is that something that you can, you can bet on the predictions for? Because I think I would like to. It seems like these are two companies that are flying way too close to the sun.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Way too close to the. So the only thing I would say is, like, they do have, they have consulting jobs that they've given to a lot of people that are in the government that would, you know, have influential says and whether or not to. To legislate. But I do think that there's enough people out there and they're, they're kind of like rubbing everybody's face in the prediction markets right now. And I would, I would put money on them existing in a completely different light in the next year. I don't know if they're going to pivot or whatever. I just, I don't think that it's going to keep going down the same road that it is. I think we've gone past that.
Aryan
Do you think. Are you saying that's because of public perception or they will be forced to in some way?
Big T
I think public perception will. Will force the government to take a look at how they operate.
Aryan
Okay, so you're saying it'll be a legal.
Big T
It'll be a legal thing. Yeah. Oh, they're not going to, like, voluntarily or like. It's not like people are going to stop betting on these things.
Aryan
Right. Because I was going to say they're not. I don't think they have great public opinion now.
Big T
No, No, I don't think it's like the public's not going to say we're going to stop doing this. There will be people that will continue to bet on these markets and continue to use insider information to make a lot of money, which is legal, as we've discussed on the show. But I think that public perception, especially in, like, I would say the next. Yeah. The next six to 12 months, they will probably be changing, it's my guess,
Aryan
will monitor that situation.
Big T
Monitoring, let's see, chemtrails.
Aryan
Real.
Big T
No.
Aryan
Might have been real.
Big T
No.
Aryan
They wanted them to be real.
Big T
You got to read. You got to read the article.
Aryan
So I read it.
Big T
Daily Mail said, CIA accused of poisoning the sky with toxins as files exposed secret weather control agenda. And then everybody said, see, it says that chemtrails are real. If you, if you read the article, you're talking about a class A bunch of classified stuff that was declassified in, like, 2003.
Aryan
That's correct.
Big T
And been out for a while.
Aryan
LBJ wanted to control the weather.
Big T
Well, yeah, essentially saying that if we can cloud seed effectively over Vietnam, we're going to. Which we tried to do, and cause more rain, then we're going to win that war to make it impossible for the opposition to move their troops around. Talking about, like, Agent Orange and spraying environmental stuff from aircraft onto. Onto plants, killing those and getting rid of, like, all the, all the foliage so that our opposition can't hide in the jungles anymore. We did all that. And then, yeah, it poisoned the ground and the land for a long time. And so, yeah, the CIA, a hundred percent, did all that stuff. I don't think that it's even coming close to saying that we have planes that are flying over the United States that are pumping whatever you want into the. Into the atmosphere.
Aryan
Sure. But there is documented evidence that the government wanted to put stuff into the atmosphere to control the weather and change correct areas.
Big T
Correct. That is true.
Aryan
And which, if you're a chemtrail guy, I mean, that's a win.
Big T
Yes, it's a win. But these are. Yeah, the wind was already out there.
Eric
That.
Aryan
This has been happening a few times recently where things that came out 10, 15, 20 years ago, people are rediscovering.
Big T
Yep.
Aryan
And putting out there, like, I guess maybe 2003, like, Internet was really early, so maybe it just never made the rounds like that.
Big T
No, it did. But, like, we. We would read these things and we would say, oh, that's crazy. That the United States government, like, tried to cloud seed and cause a monsoon that would have killed millions of people from the weather. That's crazy. And then now, after, like, 20 more years have passed, now we look at the articles, we're like, oh, this. This confirms the theory that I've been telling my neighbors about since 2015 that, like, when I see a Delta flight in my backyard that's pumping silver into the atmosphere, killing all of us. But it does confirm. You're right. And I did see. I saw an interview. You ever watch a Sean Ryan show? Aaron?
Eric
Sean Ryan?
Big T
Yeah, He's a guy, shaved head, former military guy, talks a lot of military stuff. How would you describe Him, Big T. Shawn Ryan. He had, he had.
Aryan
He's a Joe Rogan adjacent figure who interviews a lot of similar people to Rogan. Was he, he was in the military, right?
Big T
Yes.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
He also, I think like did some light drug trafficking, maybe for the CIA.
Aryan
I've never listened to his show. It is he like, how would you describe him politically?
Big T
He's definitely conservative, but he's. But he also like, he's had on
Aryan
Newsom and seemed very friendly with him.
Big T
He liked Newsom. He doesn't like Dan Crenshaw. He, he's definitely conservative, but he also kind of like jumps around a little bit when it comes to like who's pulling the strings.
Aryan
Yeah, but he's a, he's a Rogan adjacent guy.
Big T
Yeah. So he had on this like 27 year old guy whose job it was to work on geo engineering or like weather engineering. And he interviewed him for a while and it was like this, this, I don't want to use the word kid, but he's 27. This guy like thinks he's entitled to changing the weather and changing the world because he thinks that he's smarter than everybody else and he knows how to make life better for the entire world. But he's young and dumb and should not be trusted anywhere near the cloud seeding equipment that he works with. But yeah, there are people and there's. This is like a growth industry in the United States is like cloud seeding and making more rain in areas that don't have rain and less rain in areas that have too much and then hopefully not having any, any consequences whatsoever if you turn the desert into a forest. But I'm sure there'll be lots of consequences. But he doesn't think so. Anyways, that was one interview that I saw. But I encourage you guys to go watch it yourselves.
Aryan
Will do.
Big T
What else we got here today?
Aryan
I had one more thing. What was it? Oh no, maybe that was it.
Big T
Aaron, what you been, what you been thinking about?
Eric
I was just reading the effectiveness of Cloud City. It seems as though like the studies done, like all things considered, like anywhere from 0 to 20% successful. But it's not like a for sure thing anyway. Yeah, but anywho, what have I been thinking about lately? I just been grinding dog. Getting back on my workout grind. Putting together a little boot camp program for the, for the term, the tournament I'm entering in, you know, just preparing like a pro to go into this next golf tournament. Man, I wanna, I wanna make this cut, you know, I want to make the cut yeah.
Big T
So when is that again?
Eric
It is in March. I leave the 29th. It's from the 29th to the second. So I would be absent upon those days. But it's. I don't know, man. This. Whatever was this what I was made to do? You know, I was made to have a second awakening in golf. I'm gonna make this goddamn cut.
Big T
Eric, what is your next, your next goal?
Eric
I wanna. I mean, right now, like I said, I'm hovering at like a 7 handicap. I want to break 5.5handicap, but that's really hard to do. Like, you have to consistently shoot. Not consistently, but you have to break 70. I'm break 80, like, pretty. Like it's not a big deal, right. And so like I said, I'm hovering in the mid to low 80s right now. It's just cleaning up little stuff, mental mistakes, stuff like that, man. So I'm excited for the. For the opportunity to compete. I shine when this competition, though. Like, I'm probably gonna play better. Like the last one I played in, I was, dog. I wasn't even that good. I was probably like an 11. And I had a shitty day. Shitty day. And then the next day I balled out. And so I'm excited to see what I do under pressure.
Big T
How are the courses?
Eric
This is supposed to be like the best course in Mississippi. I forget what it's called, like Shadow Creek or some like that, but it's supposed to be like the best course in Mississippi. Okay, so we shall see. The good thing about it is I always play from the tips in these. In these tournaments, they do like these little mixed tees, so we rarely play from the tip. So I'm used to playing like 72 to 70400 yard courses. This one's gonna be like 68, so I don't have to be as aggressive off the T, which is where I lose a lot of my shots. I mean, a lot of my strokes. So I could, you know, I could take my hybrid off the tee and still be in play. So, yeah, a little, little game strategy, man. I'm flying the day before. Play the course, put together a game plan. One of the homies who's scratch who I play with all the time, he's gonna caddy for me, so. And his strength is on the greens. So I'm gonna get some good reads, put our minds together. I'm gonna make this cut, dog.
Big T
So I. I did see. I saw a video this morning of the PGA Tours doing their version of Hard Knocks where they got guys mic'd up, and they're doing films. It looks. It looks really good. So, yeah, check it out, Aaron. But there was one clip, and I think it was Akshay. And he was walking with. With Brooks. With Koepka. And he was like, brooks, you carry a yardage book? And Brooks is like, nah. And then actually went back to his caddy, was like, you know, Brooks doesn't use a yardage book for anything. And he's like, how is that possible? How do they do that? And then the caddies got together, and they're like, so wait, when you talk to Brooks, and he's, like, thinking about him. Driver off the tee. What's that conversation like? And Brooks's caddy, Ricky goes. He asked me, like, you think I should driver? And then I say, yeah. And then he grabs the driver and he hits it. They don't talk about yardages really at all. Like, Ricky will just hand him a club that he thinks works. If it's, like, an iron. They don't. Brooks will never overthink that on a golf course.
Aryan
Vibes coded. I like that.
Eric
That's interesting, actually.
Big T
He's, like, the only golfer that. That does that. But the. The show looks really good.
Eric
No, I'm gonna check it out. Let's dope.
Big T
All right. What else we got to get into? Anything going on in the world right now? I'm so excited for basketball.
Eric
When is the first game?
Big T
Depends on your time zone, but for us, I think it's what, noon?
Aryan
Noon Eastern?
Big T
I think noon. Okay. Noon Eastern, 11 Central.
Eric
Wet today on.
Big T
On Thursday.
Aryan
As people are.
Big T
As people are listening, guys.
Eric
Okay, I'm. I'm gonna be locked in.
Aryan
First game is tcu. Ohio State should be a great one.
Eric
I filled out a bracket, so I did a little. I did a little. I did a little research before. This is how I did it. I watched good 30 seconds to a minute of each team. Some highlights. Before I met. Before I made a pick.
Aryan
Who stood out to you?
Eric
You know, who actually, I think could do really Vandy. I liked. I liked. They had a little guard. What's his name?
Aryan
Probably Tyler Tanner.
Eric
No, he's a little. I forget his name.
Aryan
Black or white?
Eric
Black.
Aryan
Dude, it's got to be Tyler10. Oh, you're talking about Duke Miles.
Eric
Duke Miles. I like his game. I love his game. Here, let me pull up. Let me pull the brag. Who else stood out
Aryan
any of, like, Arizona, Michigan.
Eric
Arizona. So I got Arizona winning the whole thing.
Aryan
I do as well.
Eric
Really? Really. Look at me and my research, man. All right, here you Go. Here's my. My bracket. That's the wrong group chat area. What are you doing? And this is. It's basically like, vibes, because I don't know. Clearly, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna sit there and watch all these games. But I was like, I got a good feel for the team, athleticism, who the guys are, who the. All right, here we go. Boom.
Aryan
All right.
Eric
You want to go through the whole thing?
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
Yeah. Go for it.
Eric
Let's do it. All right. First round. I got Duke over Sienna, clearly. I got. I got TCU over Ohio State right here. I got St. John's over northern Iowa. I got Kansas over CA Baptist, Louisville and South Florida. That's gonna be a little. I got South Florida winning that one.
Aryan
It's a very trendy upset pick.
Eric
Okay. I got Michigan State and North Dakota. Stay easy. UCLA over UCF. UConn over Furman. Florida over. I don't even know what that is. I got Clemson over Iowa. I got Vandy over McNeese. I got Nebraska over Troy. I got North Carolina over vcu. North Carolina kind of broke my heart. So as I'm watching the highlights, you know that's my favorite team growing up, right? I just don't. I don't. They ain't got it.
Big T
Yeah. Missing their best player.
Aryan
Missing their best player.
Eric
Oh, who's the best player?
Aryan
He's out. He's a freshman. Caleb Wilson, he's going to be stud in the NBA.
Eric
Love that. Okay, so we got to listen to. Look forward to next year. Is he going to the.
Aryan
Oh, no. He's gone.
Eric
Gone. All right. Yeah. Illinois over Penn. I got Texas A and M over St. Mary's Houston over Idaho. Houston's got a good squad, by the way. Arizona over Long Island. Villanova over Utah State. Wisconsin got a good squad, too.
Aryan
Dog been playing well.
Eric
Yep. I got Arkansas over Hawaii. Hawaii looked horrible to me. I don't know.
Aryan
Do you know what Hawaii does that's really interesting? They don't switch anything on defense, like, their. Their coach. They do not switch.
Big T
No help.
Aryan
Yeah, no help. They. They just play straight up, man to man. You do not leave your man the. Yeah.
Eric
Yeah. They gonna get mobbed.
Aryan
It's interesting. They. It's. They've got good numbers, though.
Eric
I was just watching them. I was like. That did. Nothing stood out. Nothing stood out. Like, they, like, Usually teams that don't have, like, really good athleticism and they're in a tournament, they got, like, either hustle guys or they're really good fundamentally. I Didn't see none of that shit. And granted, I only watched one little clip of them.
Aryan
I like this. I like 30 seconds of every team.
Big T
Yep.
Eric
BYU over Texas. I got Gonzaga over. Is it Kennesaw?
Big T
Kennesaw.
Aryan
Kennesaw State.
Eric
Kennesaw State.
Big T
Here's a little upset pick.
Eric
I got Mizzou over Miami. Mizzou looks really good, actually.
Big T
They're playing home games.
Aryan
Yeah. In St. Louis.
Eric
Even better. I got Mizzou over Miami. Purdue over Queens. I like Purdue's team as well. Michigan. I like Michigan, but I think they may be a little overhyped. I don't know. We'll see, though.
Aryan
Only lost. I got three games all year.
Eric
That's just what I saw. Man. I'm going off. This is my 32nd analysis.
Aryan
But they did lose their last game.
Eric
There you go. I got Georgia over St. Louis. Texas Tech over Akron. Alabama over Hofstra. I got Tennessee over smu.
Aryan
SMU and Miami. Ohio are playing tonight. Then we play the winner.
Eric
Oh, I got Tennessee there. Yeah. I didn't. I didn't know which one to watch, so I was like, fuck it. Tennessee. Anyway, Virginia over Wright State. Kentucky over Santa Clara. Iowa State. I like them. I really like this team. I really like Iowa State, dog. All right, that's the first round. Second round. I got. We gotta run it back. I got Duke over TCU. I got Kansas over St. John's I got. Where'd we go? Yep. I got Michigan State over South Florida. UConn over UCLA. Florida over Clemson. Vandy beating Nebraska. I got Illinois beating North Carolina. Sorry to my. To my. Tar Heels. Houston over Texas A M. Arizona to Villanova. Wisconsin over Arkansas. Gonzaga over byu. Missouri to. Over Purdue.
Big T
Michigan.
Eric
You want to just go to the Final Four? Let's go to the Final Four.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Go.
Aryan
The elite eight.
Eric
Okay. Sweet 16. All right. Elite eight. All right. Lead it. I got Duke and Yukon. I got Duke. Duke on. I got Duke taking that. I wasn't super impressed with Yukon just watching.
Aryan
Me neither.
Eric
Yeah, I think they're. I think they're gonna be okay. I don't think they're gonna.
Aryan
I have them losing to UCLA second round.
Eric
Okay. I like that. I like that. I got Houston over Vandy, but I got. I got Vatty in the. In the Elite Eight. I think that's gonna be a good game. I really like Vanity, though.
Big T
Up.
Eric
I got Arizona over Missou. I think that's gonna be a good game. Michigan. Ohio State. I got Ohio State beating Michigan.
Big T
Okay.
Aryan
Really?
Eric
Yeah, I do that.
Aryan
Would Ohio State. Wait. Iowa State.
Eric
Iowa State.
Aryan
Yes. You. I thought you said Ohio State.
Big T
I did too.
Aryan
I think you said Ohio State.
Eric
I. I'm at Iowa.
Aryan
I'm at Iowa.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
Ohio State is in the Duke bracket.
Aryan
Yeah. I was like, I didn't even think that was an option.
Eric
No, sorry. Michigan over Iowa State. That's my, that's my Elite Eight. And then my final Four. Duke, Houston, Arizona and Iowa State. I got Houston beating Duke. Then I got Arizona being Iowa State. But again, I think that's going to be a really good game. And then I got Houston and Arizona in the final and I got Arizona taking that. I love Arizona's game. They got a little guard too. I think he's number two.
Aryan
Is two. Braden Buries or Jaden Bradley.
Eric
Bradley. Bradley.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
I don't know if that's his number, but I know his name. Yeah. I got Arizona winning it all. You're welcome. If you're struggling with your bracket out there, I got you.
Aryan
I have Arizona beating Florida in the championship game. A rematch of both teams opener could be. Could be a fun close to the season.
Big T
First game, last game, Arizona making it back. I have, I have something to report on the tournament. Some previously unknown to me. Dynamics of this NCAA tournament that I think could change things. Have you, have you looked at the inside of Idaho's basketball arena?
Aryan
I have. It's beautiful.
Big T
Oh, my God.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Idaho's basketball, it is gorgeous. Yeah. This is the most beautiful building I've ever seen.
Aryan
It looks like a perfect created stadium for like a small school. On a video game, shout out to Bud Ford.
Big T
We'll double check and make sure that Bud Ford was a good guy.
Eric
Bud for like the yellow, it's got
Big T
like wood on the inside.
Eric
Got you. Okay. Yeah.
Big T
Bud Ford court.
Eric
Nice. Yeah, it's nice. Hold on. I was watching. I think it was Iowa State, Maybe it's Big 12 championship, I think.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
Like they had a floor that like lit up.
Aryan
Yes. So they, they tried this year doing a glass floor that they can put anything on. They were like, this works like a video board like in the. On the Jumbotron. Like we could put anything you can think of on this. But then they used it to just. The court was gray and they would just like the three point line would light up when they made a three or something. And all the players hated it. They said it sucked. So they changed it back in the middle of the tournament to wood.
Eric
Damn. Because I visually, I kind of liked it. Well, they said it was a dunk, the inside would light up.
Aryan
They didn't do anything cool with it though. Like it should have been. I said it should have been half of each team's home court. Like that could have been cool, but it was just gray, it looked dumb and the players didn't like it. So they.
Eric
I really liked it, dog. Damn.
Aryan
I think it. The technology could be cool if utilized properly and they figure out how to make the floor better.
Eric
Agree. Agreed. Who's your final Four, Eric?
Big T
I got Michigan State, Houston, Arkansas. Michigan.
Aryan
Really?
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
I had Arkansas originally and I changed.
Big T
Yeah, you can do it.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
Defense scare you?
Aryan
They've just been. I. I think a cuff is a guy that can go like. He is the quintessential NCAA tournament go off guy.
Big T
Kind of like Markel Fultz or not Fultz. Marquis Noel, remember him?
Aryan
Oh, yeah. I mean, Acuff's way, way better than him. But like Brazil played out of his mind in the SEC tournament. I just don't know that they're gonna put it all together for a prolonged stretch. But they have the talent. I mean, D.J. wagner, all those guys.
Eric
I might. I'm with you on this, dog. Remember we was having a conversation about NFL versus college.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
And like you're just not that big of a pro sports guy anymore.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
When it comes, when it comes to football and basketball, I'm not with you there. With football. I still like watching really good ball football, but I can't watch NBA at all anymore. And then just doing this little research the other day I was watching college basketball. I was like, yo, this is so much more enjoyable.
Aryan
And the quality has gotten better too. With nil keeps guys like who? You know, fringe guys in school. The top guys are, you know, have always been there. But it's. The product is better. Scoring is up over the last few years and it's just, it's so much more fun.
Eric
It's more, it's more enjoyable, dog. Like, I, like I got. And the Lakers are my favorite team. Right. I got invited to the Lakers Rockets game. Great seats. Right. I just, I couldn't. I don't. I was uninterested.
Aryan
Well, you got to go to that.
Eric
I didn't want to. I literally would rather go home and I had a busy day anyway. But I would rather go home and play video games on my computer.
Aryan
Yeah, I don't, I don't hate that. I saw a screenshot from the other day. It was like, this product is unwatchable. And it was. Every NBA game that night was a 30 point game.
Eric
Yeah. I'm just, I'm uninterested. And maybe, maybe playoff time changed my mind a little bit and maybe that's when it ramps up. But I just, I'm just. I. I was wild. I can't. This is boring. This is not interesting. I don't know, man.
Aryan
And once you get into conference play, you have like four or five games that are big rivalry matchups that like,
Big T
there are still some games in college basketball where you're. It becomes like unwatchable the other way where it's like, this is crazy, but I think for the most part that, yeah, the product's gotten a lot better. And this is also the worst time of year to watch the NBA with the exception, like the three teams that are playing for playoff seating in each conference. Like the rest of it is. It's teams that are either on cruise control or teams that are actively trying to. Trying to lose games. But the playoffs are going to be good.
Eric
Yeah, maybe I'll check them out.
Aryan
But that's what.
Eric
Yeah. New college basketball fan, man. I've always been a North Carolina fan, so my catch might catch a couple Tar Heels games next year. I don't know.
Aryan
Love that. I think Tennessee and North Carolina should play every year.
Eric
Oh, yeah. You're talking about aesthetically beautiful.
Aryan
That it. Geographically it makes sense. We played them a few times a couple years ago.
Eric
Everything, I mean, just on either floor, it just when you look at it, it's beautiful.
Aryan
Agreed.
Eric
That baby blue and that orange flash, that's a gorgeous color scheme.
Aryan
Yeah. We played a home and home with them when I was in school and it was cool. And I'm sure we've played them. Maybe we haven't played them in like one of those early season tournaments, but we did play home and home. Those teams should play every year.
Eric
I don't know that there's a better aesthetically pleasing visual.
Aryan
I agree.
Big T
Let's see. UCLA has really good colors.
Eric
So the blues kind of dull and that, that gold kind of gets me sometimes. It doesn't look good, but it's not a bad one. It's not a bad one.
Big T
You know, it's a really, really good color. Combo is the combo they use for the Players Championship. They're like dark blue and gold.
Eric
Yeah, I like that.
Big T
It's really good.
Eric
I like that. Yeah.
Big T
But yeah, if UCLA was playing against ucla, against Texas would be like a JV version. Texas stinks of. Of Tennessee brown.
Eric
Yeah, it's that, that burnt orange don't get you talking to two Vols here. Yeah, that burnt orange don't do it for us.
Big T
I hear you.
Eric
And we're the real you too.
Aryan
So a university before Texas was a state and wouldn't be a state without us either.
Big T
Good point. All. All solid points.
Aryan
The University of Tennessee was a university before Tennessee was a state.
Big T
How's that?
Aryan
It was founded as Blunt College in.
Eric
Hell, yeah.
Aryan
1796.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
I knew.
Big T
I knew Thomas Jefferson was growing some weird stuff.
Aryan
Let me. Let me make sure. 1794. Damn. Tennessee became a state in 17.
Big T
We got it. We gotta have some Blunt College merch.
Aryan
That could be. It's beyond throwbacks.
Eric
That's kind of lit. Yeah. Was it. Were the colors the same as.
Aryan
I think that came along later because they. They did orange because of the flowers that are on the hill.
Eric
We had. We had throwback jerseys back. Back in our day. Eric, that would be a cold little throwback.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
For the University of Tennessee. Blunt College. That's kind of cold, actually.
Big T
Let's see if they make any, like going across the. What are some other schools. I know that JMU used to be Madison Teachers College, but if school is the worst. Yeah.
Eric
College name of all time. Man.
Big T
If schools did. Did throwback merch to their old names, that'd be sick.
Eric
Yeah, that's. That's. That's cream of the crop right there. No bias. Blunt College.
Big T
Blunt College.
Aryan
There it. It. It's B, L, O U N T. But I'm not seeing any merch. We should make something about a Blunt College.
Eric
And underneath us is University of Tennessee. That's cold.
Aryan
We should make some.
Big T
Yeah. Let's find the best. The best throwback names across the country.
Aryan
I'm looking into it.
Eric
It's got to be up there. Yeah.
Big T
Like, what did. I'm guessing the. The big ones in the Ivy League. Those have always been. Because they don't change.
Aryan
Columbia was King's College.
Big T
Okay. The University of Florida. What was that? Has it always been University of Florida?
Aryan
I'm just. I'm looking through.
Eric
Shout out to Reddit for this. Some dude said start calling universities by their old names.
Aryan
I'm on the same one.
Eric
Okay. Yeah. Let's see. Duke University was. Had four different names. Brown School. Can't call that now. Union Institute. Normal College. Trinity College. I kind of like Normal College.
Big T
Normal College.
Aryan
Illinois State is in Normal. Illinois. They should go by Normal College.
Eric
UCLA was Southern branch of the University of California.
Aryan
Oh, this is the one. Northeastern University, The Evening Institute for Younger Men.
Big T
Oh, that rocks. Yeah, I kind of want to go there. Just like the boys. Just hanging the. The. You. This. The school of hanging with the fellas.
Aryan
You asked about Florida. What prompted that, by the way?
Big T
I was just curious. I was thinking just biggest schools.
Aryan
From 1905 to 1909, they were the University of the State of Florida. Just some superfluous words.
Big T
University of the State of Florida. I like that. What about, what about Georgia?
Aryan
Not seeing Georgia on here. Tulane was the Medical College of Louisiana. A lot of these are just, you know, rearranging the words.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
Vandy was Central University. How good is Vandy in basketball? Yeah, I mean, they can, they can beat some people.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
I think they're going to be in the Sweet 16 against. In a rematch with Florida.
Eric
Nice little squad, man, but I can't imagine Florida college. Do you know the oldest college?
Aryan
Believe it's William and Mary.
Eric
That's the second oldest.
Aryan
Is it also in Virginia?
Big T
No, I. I think it's one of the Ivy Leagues.
Aryan
Penn, the.
Eric
Nope.
Big T
Brown.
Aryan
I really thought it was William and Mary.
Eric
Nope.
Big T
Harvard.
Eric
Harvard, yeah. Founded in 1636.
Big T
I want to know what kind of stupid they were teaching in 1636. I mean, like, what was the science classes like back then?
Eric
When was Isaac Newton walking?
Big T
I don't know.
Eric
It was. He was. He was in the 1600s, wasn't he?
Aryan
Hold.
Eric
Because like, I don't even think theoretical physics was like a thing.
Aryan
1643-1727.
Eric
Yes.
Aryan
That's later than I thought.
Eric
Yeah. So the physics that they had back then was nowhere near what we have now.
Aryan
So Isaac Newton was only 50 years outside of America.
Big T
Yep. So they studied geometry, astronomy, metaphysics, ethics, rhetoric, logic, Latin. I want to really know the kind of stuff they were studying in the medical courses there. Like leeches. I'm doing introduction. Introduction to leeches.
Eric
We're gonna study leprosy.
Big T
Yeah. Before we get back to more of macrodosing, like to talk to you for a second about Quince. Quince is incredible. I have some polo shirts from Quince. I've got some long sleeves from Quince. Eric
Big, big news. Big news. Just dropped.
Big T
Oh, shit.
Eric
Huge news.
Big T
Oh, shit.
Eric
Fresh off the presses, hot off my desk. Are y' all ready for this?
Big T
Mm.
Eric
June 16, 2028. My birthday.
Big T
Happy birthday.
Aryan
Let me think of what this could be.
Big T
2028.
Eric
And what a fucking birthday gift this is to you.
Aryan
28.
Eric
Let me know when you ready.
Aryan
Is it a. It's sports or culture, all that.
Eric
You either guess or you don't guess. I ain't giving you no breadcrumbs.
Aryan
I don't know. I've got nothing.
Big T
Six, 16, 20.
Aryan
Oh, it's the. Is it an Olympic thing?
Big T
It could be the Olympics.
Aryan
I bet it's. I. My guess is Trump has announced something to do with the Olympics.
Eric
That's your final answer?
Aryan
Yes.
Eric
Are you going to guess?
Big T
Eric, that is the day that we are going to declare a national holiday. June 16th. And it's going. Yeah, it's going to be just Summer Day. Happy summer.
Eric
Happy summer day. June 16, 2028. The Incredibles 3 is coming out.
Aryan
Oh, okay. Yeah, you gotta come to Chicago.
Eric
I might have to. Like, this is big new. I've been an Incredibles guy since its inception.
Aryan
I didn't know there was a three.
Eric
I had no idea. No idea. This is fresh off of Pixar's account 20 minutes ago.
Aryan
Wow.
Big T
This is.
Eric
This is happening. Huge. I'm so excited for Jack. Jack, bro. Jack. Jack is like one of the best superheroes of all time. He's got laser eyes. He can turn into fire. He could turn into iron. He could.
Big T
He could teleport.
Eric
Yo, Jack. Jack may be the most powerful in the universe.
Aryan
Is he going to be an adult?
Eric
I don't know, man. Yeah. I don't know nothing about. This is fresh off the. I don't know. I'm just looking at the announcement. I'm so excited about this.
Aryan
Oh, they apparently announced it in August of 24.
Eric
Had no idea. No idea.
Big T
I've never seen the Incredibles.
Aryan
What?
Eric
Oh, that's like him not seeing a sandlot. Bro, you tripping. No.
Aryan
Who hasn't seen the sandlot?
Eric
I mean, not the sandlot.
Aryan
I've seen the sandlot. Don't watch.
Eric
Not the sandlot. Not the sandlot. Which one? Which one?
Aryan
I've. I haven't seen a bunch.
Eric
Yeah, I forget. It was a classic, though.
Aryan
Everyone's mad at me for not having seen another different movie.
Eric
Yeah, yeah.
Big T
Now for me, only Training Day.
Aryan
I'll watch it at some point.
Big T
You got to.
Eric
You still. Wait, you haven't seen Training Day.
Aryan
I've got a lot of shit to do, man.
Eric
I feel you.
Big T
But this is a great two hours that you're going to have. Like, you should be looking forward to it.
Aryan
Let's. Okay, here's what. I have to have a hard date. So I'm. Let's pick a date by which I have to watch training day.
Big T
June 16, 2028. Okay.
Aryan
I was. Let's say. Let's just call it. Let's say June 1st. By June 1st of this year, I have to watch Training Day.
Big T
Yes.
Aryan
That gets us out of March Madness. That gets us past the Masters and everything into kind of a good sweet spot.
Eric
Yep.
Aryan
By June 1st, I will watch Training Day. You can use this as. As to bind my word.
Eric
Okay.
Big T
Word is bond.
Eric
Word is Bond.
Aryan
And then. Is that a Monday? It looked like that's a Monday. So on June 1, we will do a full Training Day recap.
Eric
Okay. Oh, I love that. Oh, it'll give me a chance to watch it back again.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
Yep. Okay.
Big T
That's. That's going to be an awesome episode.
Aryan
Write it down.
Big T
June 1st.
Aryan
Actually, do write it down because I will put this off until the very end of May.
Big T
It looks good first. It looks like a good episode.
Eric
Love that.
Aryan
All right, Done deal.
Eric
More than. I love that for you more than anybody else. But.
Aryan
Yeah, we'll see.
Eric
How about we do this? We'll make it the run it back episode where everybody watches something that they haven't seen that they should have seen.
Aryan
I like that.
Eric
What is something that you haven't seen, Eric?
Aryan
Incredibles.
Big T
I'm sure I could do the Incredibles. I could do the first episode of Star Wars.
Aryan
Have you seen the other Star Wars?
Big T
Well, we.
Eric
We both. We both should have seen this as well, and I'm keeping it, being I'm
Big T
not going to watch Star Wars.
Aryan
I've, I've seen a little bit of
Big T
it, but it doesn't do anything like the Avengers. I haven't seen that main aner.
Eric
I'm looking for more classics, like, older classics that like, you should have watched Godfather.
Aryan
Has to be before 2005.
Eric
That's a good one. Godfather's a good one.
Big T
Godfather one. See, I, I, I screwed myself on that. It's the longest movie ever. Is it like four hours?
Aryan
Is it really?
Eric
I don't think I've seen that one either.
Aryan
Two hours, 55 minutes.
Eric
Yeah, yeah. Back there too.
Aryan
They had nothing else to do back then. They just had to sit in the theater for as long as that was probably a welcome distraction.
Eric
That was like, that was like, nah. Because theater, that's where you used to go to watch movies. It wasn't really a big thing to own them like that. It was. And it was, it was the thing when they came out, you know, to go drive. You got to go see it.
Big T
It's like pizzas get out of the heat for a little bit. Come watch pizzas.
Eric
Used to be, Pizzas used to be crazy big T. Like when you ordered pizza, it was like dog pizza at your doorstep. Get the out of here. Now it's like everything's at your doorstep. So it lost its fervor. Yeah, but pizza and a movie.
Aryan
Listen, I remember the days of Blockbuster.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
I would rent video games from Blockbuster.
Eric
You know what? I saw a site that has, like, old hats and it had a Blockbuster one. I think I'm gonna cop one.
Aryan
That could be cool. There's a, there's a new game. I think it's just on PC right now, but it's. You run a Blockbuster.
Big T
That's great.
Aryan
The children Yourn for the 90s.
Eric
There's that trend going around. Dad, what were you like in the 90s? Have you seen that?
Big T
No.
Aryan
No.
Eric
You haven't seen that. So like all like, older. A little older than us. He, those celebrities are saying dad or mom. What were you like in the 90s? And then they do, they do like, like Halle Berry or. The best one was Buddy from the Sandlot. The, the, the, the bigger dude. I, I guess I don't know his name. Like, the bigger dude a little. The catcher. He was the catcher. Yeah. And so you've seen these Trans Mac. You've seen it? Yeah, I've seen it.
Aryan
It's cute.
Big T
I like it.
Eric
And so his was the dopest one. Because all his. Because, like, what they'll do is I'll show pictures of them in the 90s, like what they were doing, how. You know, how prominent they were, what they had going on, and it's kind of nostalgic and it's really dope. Like, Tony Hawks was really dope. And then he went to him, who was the catcher. He showed all the older pictures of Benny the Jet Rodriguez and like, his career. And that kid's career was. It was funny, dog. Watch that one.
Aryan
But that actor is a big time card show autograph guy. Really, like, every card show. He's there, signed an autograph. I'm sure he makes a great living doing it.
Eric
Benny the Jet?
Aryan
No, Ham Porter.
Eric
Ham Porter.
Big T
Good for him.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
Movies, though. What's it. What's the movie?
Aryan
I mean, we don't know what you haven't seen.
Eric
That's true. We've talked about the show.
Big T
Incredibles. I think that'd be a good one, right?
Aryan
For who? I think he's seen it, but I've seen it. Oh, well, I thought you were doing the. God.
Eric
I got.
Big T
It's too long.
Eric
It's fair. That's a fair. Three hours is a long time.
Aryan
I mean, Arian, you know better than we do. Name some that you haven't seen.
Eric
Oh, let me just. Let me just Google that because my. My bandwidth running low.
Aryan
Big T. I have a group chat that is mad at me for having not seen a bunch of movies and they made a spreadsheet. I'm trying to find it. Okay, Arian, I have the Google Doc of movies that I haven't seen that people were upset at me for. So I'll read these and tell me if there's one that you haven't seen.
Big T
Also, right.
Aryan
Rounders, Braveheart, Gladiator, Goodwill Hunting.
Eric
Oh, you haven't seen Gladiator?
Aryan
No, Dog, Goodfellas, Casino, which we discussed on Monday. I had to see Casino Heat, Varsity Blues, Spaceballs, Coming to America, Caddyshack, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Die Hard Blow, and Donnie Brasco.
Eric
Wow. It's a. It genuinely surprised me. Ever seen Varsity Blues?
Aryan
Yeah, I feel like I could get to that at some point. At some point. I'll watch Varsity Blues.
Eric
That's your rip, James Vanderbie. Yeah. Yeah. Fact is.
Aryan
John Voight.
Eric
Yep. He's in it. He's in it.
Big T
Still live.
Aryan
He's still alive.
Big T
Still alive.
Aryan
That's what I was asking.
Eric
Yeah. I haven't seen Casino. I could do Casino.
Big T
Oh, Casino's good.
Eric
Yeah, I heard that one's. Good. I haven't seen Heat either.
Big T
Heat's also good. That's a. These are very long movies, but they're very good.
Eric
Casino long. How long is casino?
Big T
I think casinos.
Eric
I'll watch it.
Aryan
I think incredibles does not fit with our theme. I think. I think you have to do the God father.
Big T
It's so long though. Big.
Aryan
You have two months.
Big T
All right, let me look.
Aryan
And a half.
Big T
Let me look at the. The list of best. I'll go. Rolling Stone, best movies.
Eric
There you go.
Big T
And I'll see which ones I haven't seen. By the way, have you guys used any USA Today website recently to do anything?
Aryan
Not that I'm aware of.
Big T
They like they own different regional websites too.
Aryan
Ganette.
Big T
It. It's impossible. It's impossible to use any of their websites. Like they're like pop up actually unusable.
Eric
Yeah, they gotta. Gotta make money though.
Big T
I know, but I feel like they're just squeezing every last penny.
Eric
Here's one that I haven't seen that I heard it was amazing. The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Big T
Okay. Is it West Anderson?
Eric
Yes, I'm too. I heard that. I heard it was like fire, but I just haven't got around to that one.
Aryan
He makes weird movies, right?
Eric
Yeah, yeah. I haven't seen no country for Old Men.
Aryan
I haven't seen that either.
Eric
Man said he makes weird movies.
Aryan
That is. That is his thing.
Eric
Oh, you haven't seen Dark Knight either, huh?
Aryan
Big T. No, not a. Not a Batman.
Eric
Add that to the. Add that to the spreadsheet because that's. That's my. Like I'm a. I'm like a Marvel cat. Like I watch Marvel. My kids love them. We.
Big T
We.
Eric
I'm up on the lore and they watch the spin off TV show series and all of that shit. Dark Knight's the best superhero movie all time. Has it has to do with Batman. Inglourious bastards.
Big T
Oh, that's a good one too.
Aryan
Never seen it.
Big T
Do you like war movies?
Eric
It's less about war, more about the story around it.
Aryan
Yeah.
Eric
What's that his name? Christopher.
Big T
Christopher Watts.
Eric
One of the better actors in. In the world today. So you should add that to the list.
Aryan
I'm writing all these down. I'm going to send it to. These guys are going to be pissed
Eric
her.
Aryan
I wouldn't consider that a classic but
Eric
I mean it's fire to me. I don't know. Like it's one of the better movies out.
Aryan
Like I think it's probably pretty relevant now.
Eric
Yep. As I'm saying John Wick. Haven't seen John Wick.
Aryan
Me neither.
Eric
Damn. Oh, what?
Big T
Mad Max Fury Road?
Eric
I haven't seen either one. I haven't seen no Mad Max.
Big T
Fury Road's really good.
Eric
You seen either one, Big T?
Aryan
No, I think you'll love those. From what I understand. I think they're right up your alley.
Eric
I think. I think this works. If so, the person who hasn't watched it, the other two have watched it. So I'm trying to find a classic that both y' all have seen. I ain't seen.
Aryan
Have you seen Shawshank?
Eric
Oh, my God, yes. Okay, wait, you haven't seen Shawshank?
Aryan
No, I have.
Eric
Oh. I was about to say I was
Aryan
just starting from baseline, like, got you.
Eric
Got you.
Aryan
Because a lot of these 80s and 90s movies, I just, you know, they slip by me. That one I've seen countless times. Yeah, you're doing the Godfather. I'm doing Training Day. Or if y' all want to pick a different one for me. But y'.
Big T
All.
Aryan
Y' all pick. But that seems to. Y' all have said that one several times.
Big T
It's a great movie. I wish I could watch again for the first.
Aryan
So I'll do Training Day, and then, yeah, we'll pick one for Arian June 1st. Write it down.
Big T
I guess I will watch the Godfather.
Eric
There you go.
Big T
There's probably a lot of people out there that are like, you asshole. The Godfather is my favorite movie, but it's long, it's intimidating. You know how that goes.
Eric
I mean, I haven't seen it either.
Big T
You say you haven't seen Braveheart either? Yeah, Braveheart's a good one.
Aryan
Problematic, though.
Eric
Why?
Aryan
Well, why separate the art from the
Big T
artist you're not in favor of? Oh, you talk about Mel, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Aryan
What you think?
Big T
I thought you were just, like, anti Scottish. I thought you were like, I'm a British loyalist.
Aryan
No, I'm. I'm loyal to no nation but the United States.
Big T
You're loyal to the soil.
Eric
All right, Paddington. I'm hearing these movies about the little bear. That's the bear, right?
Big T
Paddington 2.
Aryan
That's correct.
Big T
One of the best movies ever made.
Eric
That's. Y' all seen that?
Aryan
I have not seen Paddington, no.
Big T
Paddington is rated 99 on Rotten Tomatoes. It's one of the highest. It's one of the highest ranked and reviewed movies of all time.
Aryan
Did people do that as a joke?
Big T
No, it's just a damn good movie.
Eric
Big. See, I've heard, like, no, this is. That's what I've heard.
Aryan
What does he do?
Big T
I mean, no spoilers.
Aryan
Have tea with the queen, possibly. Remember that in the, the Olympic intros when they were in London, Paddington, like showed up and everybody flipped out.
Big T
Yeah. Paddington 2 is one of the highest rated movies of all time.
Aryan
I'll take your word for it.
Big T
The Reception it got $40 million in at the box office in the US and Canada and then 242 million in other countries worldwide. Total 290 million.
Eric
The bear.
Big T
So I'm seeing 8.7 for the critics review on Rotten Tomatoes, but it's 99% with audience reviews.
Aryan
Yeah. Shout out P Dog.
Big T
I guess. Yeah.
Eric
You know, Yeah, I, I, that one, that one slipped under my radar as well.
Big T
So on January 18, 2000 2018, Paddington 2 became the most reviewed film ever to remain at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Eric
I mean, it's got to be cracking. Yeah. Or at least controversial. Like why so many people talking about this?
Aryan
I, I guarantee you that had to be some sort of Internet bit.
Big T
No, no, these are like all, there's no Paddington. Here's a quote from Les Leslie Philperin of The Hollywood Reporter. Paddington 2 won't save the world. World, sadly. But its existence makes everything just that tiny bit better and more, well, bearable. That's good. Here's Guy Lodge. Variety.
Aryan
It's. It's positivity. Slo.
Big T
Another near perfect family entertainment honoring the cozy can do spirit of Michael Bond stories will bring them smoothly into a bustling, diverse, 21st century London with space for some light anti Brexit subtext to boot. You think it's, it's positivity slop.
Aryan
That's what sounds like sunshine and rainbows for Paddington. Maybe we all need to watch Paddington too, from the sounds of it.
Big T
Yeah. Let's see. Do I have to? Do I need to watch Paddington 1?
Eric
That's the thing. Do I need context for patented 2?
Big T
MacKenzie, have you seen any of the Paddocks?
Aryan
I think I've seen the first one,
Big T
but it, it was a very long time ago. I think so. I don't remember. Okay. This is first hit on Reddit. It will be meaningful if you haven't seen the first movie. But Paddington 2 will be more meaningful and enjoyable. If you've already watched the first one,
Aryan
can you see what the reviews of Disney's Jungle Cruise are? It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Big T
Jungle Cruise? Oh, that's the one with Emily Blunt and the rock.
Aryan
That's correct.
Big T
62% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Aryan
Really?
Big T
50% on Metacritic, 6.5 on IMDb.
Aryan
I think it's the only movie I've ever gotten up and just walked out of.
Big T
Oh, yeah.
Aryan
When I lived in New York and I was single, I had like the unlimited movie thing and I would just go see movies that I didn't, you know, just go sit down with some popcorn and turn your phone off for two hours. And I went to see Jungle Cruise and it was just. So I got up and left in the middle. I was like this. I can't do this anymore. Also, that night, it seemed like Ronaldo was going to sign with Man City.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
So that was a big. A big deal. And I wanted to monitor the situation. Then he ended up going back to Man United anyway.
Big T
That's a heartbreaker. Yeah, I. I can think of one movie I walked out of. My grandmother took me out of Last Action Hero. I remember that in. In the theater in Queensborough because it was. It was so violent at the start. I was not ready for that. But the only movie I've walked out of is Master of Disguise with Drew Carey. Not Drew Carey, Dana. Wait, what? Dana Carvey. Dana Carvey, where he plays the turtle. And so we walked out of that movie and went into. I think the Matrix is playing at the theater next door. So we just went and watched that. But then I found out later that Danny Carvey was shooting Master of disguise on 911 when the attack started. And he was in the. The turtle outfit. And they stopped filming and he gathered everybody around and I think they all said a prayer and. And prayed upon the future of the United States while. While Dana Carvey is wearing the turtle outfit from. And if you haven't. Look him up, Big T. Look up the turtle outfit for Master of Disguise.
Eric
That's kind of comedy, dog. Anybody can you gather around? Some serious. Is going down. He's sitting in a turtle outfit.
Aryan
Oh, yeah, that's.
Eric
I walked. I walked out of Elf. What?
Aryan
What?
Eric
It wasn't like a protest. I was like, you didn't like Elf?
Big T
Anti. Anti Christmas guy.
Eric
Here, here. Not true.
Aryan
I'm like, he's a Christmas guy.
Big T
Christian undertones in this movie. We're leaving.
Eric
I don't. No, no, it wasn't like. It was not a protest. Like, I can't stand it. Hey, if you like it, you like it. But for me, it just wasn't. It didn't. And I was like, this is.
Aryan
It's my all time number two Christmas Christmas movie. Not number two overall.
Eric
Yeah, that have been wild. But yeah, I just didn't do it for me. I don't know. I love Will Ferrell.
Aryan
Do you like Christmas Vacation?
Eric
I've never seen that.
Aryan
I mean, I'm putting that on his. Even though it's not Christmas. That's a must watch. Yeah, I think it's one of the funniest movies ever made.
Eric
One of the funniest movies in terms
Aryan
of like, just the one liners in that movie. They are still hilarious 40 years later.
Eric
Okay, that's. That's mine. I'll watch A Christmas Vacation.
Aryan
Yeah, I think that may need to be his.
Big T
Okay.
Aryan
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Eric
I'm good with that one.
Aryan
When you talked about your grandma taking you out of the movie, though, my great grandma liked to go to movies, but she would just sleep the whole time. No matter what it was, she'd fall asleep instantly. So you could get her to just take you to whatever movie you wanted and you would just go with baba and. And she would go to sleep and you could watch whatever you wanted.
Big T
That's awesome.
Aryan
Yeah, she was. She's my favorite person of all time. She had a dedicated refrigerator just to Coke products.
Big T
Oh, really?
Aryan
She had her regular fridge and then a mini fridge that was just fully stocked at all times with Coke, Diet Coke, Dasani water, and Sprite.
Big T
Wow, this sounds like a great grandma.
Aryan
She was the best.
Big T
You know, when. When Mimi took me out of Last Action Hero, I remember she grabbed my hand. She goes, I think we ought leave now. That was kind of like a forest scope, but that's Mimi. What? You know, she had the. The Greensboro accent, and it was like two people died within 30 seconds. And then she. She was just not. She was a good Southern Baptist woman.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
This was not entertainment for her. So she was like, we got to get out of here. I can't. I can't poison my grandson's mind.
Aryan
And you. She took you to the Matrix?
Big T
No, that's different time when I was. I was watching Master.
Aryan
Oh, that was Master Disguise. Right.
Big T
We left and I think she was. She was like upset with me that I asked to go see Last Action Hero. But I was like, it's an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Like, I'm. I'm excited to see it. Later on, I get to. To college. I watched it. I wrote my senior year thesis on Last Action Hero by Arnold Schwarzenegger and how the themes of Shakespeare's Hamlet are interwoven throughout the entire film. Because we were studying Hamlet.
Eric
Wow.
Big T
And I was like, wait. As I was reading Hamlet for the first time, I was like, this is Last Action Hero and Lion King. Yeah, that too. But like Last Action Hero is just next time you watch it, if you've seen Hamlet, it's gonna jump off the page.
Eric
There's an Eminem line that perfectly encapsulates your. Was your Mimi.
Big T
Mimi.
Eric
When she goes, he goes. He said, last week I seen a Schwarzenegger movie where he's shooting all sorts of these with an Uzi. I see these three little kids up in the front rows screaming goat with the 17 year old uncle. I'm like, guidance. Ain't they got the same moms and dads who got mad when I asked, do you like violence? Mm, cold little line. But Mimi took a stand. Shout out to Mimi.
Big T
Yeah, Mimi was about that life. All right, you want to get into to the article that you sent over yesterday, Aaron?
Eric
Yeah, let's do it. It's weird.
Big T
Crazy, crazy article came out in the New Yorker and Aryan brought it to our attention. At the center of it are a pair of Chinese immigrants that had 26 children stowed away in their mansion. So you want to kind of give the, the big picture view on it.
Eric
Yeah. So the background is there's a couple and I'm gonna butcher these names. Apologies, apologies to my Chinese fans out there. Gujon Juan. Juan. When there's an X, what do you do with you?
Aryan
I think it's like a.
Eric
Okay, like, like Juan Gujan. Gujon Juan is a 64 year old man and Sylvia Zhang is a 36 year old woman. And just off rip, always a red flag in my, in my 39 years of this life, anytime you got a 30, 20 to 30 year gap in a situationship or relationship, thumbs up. You know what I mean? Power dynamics. It's weird. I don't know.
Aryan
Well, she was his like secretary.
Eric
I didn't see that, but could be the case. But they, but they were together.
Aryan
Yeah, they were married to different people and she was his secretary. He was like a rich Chinese guy. And then they got together.
Eric
Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. Nefarious. So they were living in a LA suburb and how the story popped off, there was a woman named Kayla Elliot. Kayla Elliot was contact or contacted them via Facebook. There was this, there was this group that she found. She, her background is like she, she had kids and she loved that. She just loved having kids. And I've seen that before actually where women enjoy the process of being pregnant and stuff. Like, you know, it feels good to them. I don't know, for whatever Reason I couldn't relate carrying a human, which is still kind of weird to me. That's why. So anyway, she. She from Corpus Chris Crispy. She had four kids, and she was like, it. I love having kids. I want to give this experience, you know, this child or this experience of having a child to somebody who can't. And so she was looking at a Facebook surrogacy group, and she was contacted by a company called Mark Surrogacy. And Mark Surrogacy was ended up being owned and operated by Gujan Juan and Sylvia Zhang. And initially, when she got the. The message, she was like, usually they. They had one other kid and they were just trying to have more kids. She was like, yeah, let's do it. It's all good. So as she goes along with her pregnancy, she's like four months in, and then she learned through another Facebook message that they already had 13 kids. And so she contacted the agency and she was like, yeah, but, you know, we just really want to have a large family, and, you know, we can't have kids, so that's what we want to do. And she was like, all right, well, okay, little odd, but whatever. After she gives birth to a baby, she. She hands. She hands the child over. And then there became, like, some reports of, like, you know, child abuse and stuff with the neighbors and stuff. And as they start to investigate that, they go in, they go into the house, and as they go into the house, they see, like, 15, 20 kids, and it's like a classroom type vibe set up. And then they see that there's security footage, Right. There's cameras set up in all these different rooms. And so the police see the security footage, and they see that they are, like, getting beat. So after. So the police raided, and there was a nanny that was there, kind of like she was showing off footage, like shaking a baby and, like, hitting the baby and stuff like that. The nanny dipped, so the nanny's still on the run today, so we don't know where the nanny is. And so after. After all of that fallout,
Big T
all of
Eric
the surrogate mothers that were. Because they. They were still. Even after the raid and after all of the fallout, their surrogate mothers still were pregnant with some of the kids. They were still trying to have more kids. Yeah. And. And so after that, the surrogate mothers were like, no, I'm not going to give a child over to you in these circumstances. After they're under investigation by the FBI, these two people sue the surrogate mothers for this to, like, a breach of contract in addition to like a million dollars. And so the other women, like, countersued. So it's like a big old. It's like a big old mess. And so the interesting part is, and this is where it kind of gets to the conspiracy land, where I'm kind of like, okay, this has some teeth to it. The dude, Zhuang, Zhuang Gojun, he was a Chinese. He's a Chinese national and a former senior official in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Congress. So he was legit in a. In the government of China. And so this is where it kind of gets wild. I think this is conspiracy land. But I think what they were doing was they wanted to. I think they were like getting kids to try to breed them to become a politician or some kind of influencer in America's soil. And I think that. I don't know if it's like from the Chinese government or Chinese plant or, or what have you, but I think this is what they was doing because they mentioned that they wanted one of the kids to be president and so they wanted to have all these kids on the soil. So they were like brow beating them into like, learning things and, and understanding American culture and all of this, and they were getting beat and stuff like that. But there's no real. I mean, yeah, that's child neglect and stuff, but there's no like, evidence of like, trafficking or anything like that. Yeah, think this was just like a little sweatshop set up to try to infiltrate and they just wanted to play all the odds that they could. This is what it looks like to me. At first it was just all what. What we know now. This is what I feel.
Big T
So he named. He named several of his kids after United States presidents. There's one that was named Jefferson. There were Democrats and Republicans both mixed in there.
Aryan
That wasn't his real name. They used that as a.
Big T
And it wasn't actually the name.
Aryan
He did name them after presidents, but Jefferson was a fake name that they used. They didn't use the kids real names. Okay, but he was named after another president.
Big T
Different. Different president. He also carried around business cards that called himself Trump Doge member, official, Trump cabinet member, and Trump advisor. So this guy, like, very clearly was obsessed with politics and US Politics. When he was in China, I saw, like, how he came up, but he also, the way that he left China, I don't know if you did any reading about that, but he was responsible for a couple initiatives that got a lot of senior party officials in trouble. So like he called them anti corruption measures that he was taking which went after the super high ranking members as well as like some very low ranking. He called it going after the tigers and flies of China. So he, he made some very powerful enemies.
Aryan
His nickname was like the, the Great or something because everyone hated him.
Big T
Yeah, that's a great nickname.
Aryan
And then they, they discovered this was going on because some of the moms found each other in like a Facebook group and they discovered that it was the same couple they were having children for and they gave them the same gifts, like bracelets and different stuff. And the, the mom was really shady and would never text people back. And then it turns out the agency that they were talking to or they thought they were talking to was just that couple. They ran it.
Eric
Yeah, they ran the whole shit.
Aryan
And so that's why they were like, oh well they're really busy right now. Like they can't meet with you, they can't do whatever. And so that's kind of how the whole thing was discovered. And they, they shaved all the kids heads and they had them in like it was reminiscent of kind of Stranger Things where they have the kids in like the little compound where they're have them in like the school and whatever and all their heads are shaved. It's a weird deal.
Big T
It's like bringing all these kids up and like in America with the hopes that one of them becomes like a mega famous influencer. It's like if you wanted to like be a successful person back in the 1800s and have a bustling farm, you would have like 20 kids.
Eric
Yeah, that would help you.
Big T
This guy.
Aryan
All of them were going to make it.
Big T
Yeah. This guy just wants some people that are going to go mega viral.
Eric
He's, he's playing odds. But here's where I feel like it has a little bit of teeth and it's tied to the Chinese government. More than 40% of all international surrogacy contracts in the, in the United States were initiated by Chinese nationals criminals. So anybody who has surg surrogate contracts in the US today is from China. That's, I mean that's an alarming pattern.
Big T
I wonder why that is.
Eric
I don't know. And that's what I'm saying. That's why I say, like I said, I don't. We leaving fact land and we're leaving it going into my opinion. My opinion is like there could be some programs set up in China where they're trying to do this on purpose. Well, so much so as the, the. Yeah, I Mean, like I said, I don't know. This is what it looks like. But like, it caught the attention of Congress. Rick Scott introduced the Safe Kids Act. And so it's stopping adversarial foreign, foreign exploitation of kids in domestic surrogacy. And what it does is it invalidates any commercial surrogacy agreement entered into with a citizen of a foreign adversarial nation and, and create a misdemeanor for brokers who facilitate such agreements. But the loophole behind it is they can only because it would be profiling. So the only way that you really stop it is if, okay, you have to be married. So if they're married, they can still do it, but if they're not, they can't. That's what the, that the Safe Kids act was proposed.
Big T
Yeah. So there's, there are some good reasons why people from China would use surrogacy platforms at a higher rate. Like, they have limitations on surrogacy in China. They have limitations on number of children that you can have in China. So if you want to have a, like, you know, three people, three kids in your family, or if for whatever reason your wife or the woman can't carry a child, then they could go to the United States, try to use a surrogate there to have a kid. But what we've seen a lot of recently, because I did, I, I looked this up a little bit, there have been some Chinese billionaires that are trying to have lots of US Born babies via surrogacy. And they just, I guess, pay money to have them born in the United States and then have them shipped back over to China. If you're like a billionaire that wants like 20 heirs to take over the world or take over your company and your businesses, I think it's probably similar to what Elon's kind of doing where it's like, if you are a billionaire and you believe that much in yourself and you're very egotistical, then you want to procreate as much as possible because you think that your, your genes are superior to everybody else's. So you want to have as many kids to ensure that the future of the world is in good hands. So, yeah, there are Chinese billionaires that are doing that and have kind of been flagged in the United States as like, hey, this is happening, right? So it is like an actual thing that in addition to people that might want surrogates for normal good reasons, there are some people that are, that are really like, taking advantage of the situation. And so, you know what the going rate for a surrogate mother would be.
Eric
Like, what, 30 to 30 to 60 grand? Something like that.
Aryan
Yeah, that sounds.
Eric
That sounds about right.
Big T
I'm seeing about 45, so. Yeah, it's right in there. That doesn't. See that. Doesn't seem like that much money to have, like, your body go through. Go through all that.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
Right.
Eric
40, 40 grand for nine months. Probably don't. Yeah.
Big T
And like, childbirth. Yeah, it's. It's way safer than it's ever been, but it's still not risk free.
Eric
Yeah, I'm gonna need like, 200, 300, easy.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
And then I. I don't want to. I don't want to judge women that have offered their services as surrogates because, you know, in a lot of cases, you're really helping out some people that couldn't have kids without them, which is a wonderful thing. It just seems like it would be really, really hard to give birth, and then the second after you give birth, your baby gets taken away. No. Right. Could not imagine a weird thing after. After having it and carrying it for nine months and, like, taking all the vitamins and doing all the stuff to help it out, watching what you eat, all this stuff. And then nine months, you go into childbirth. And then the. I. I would assume they don't even give the baby back to the moment, do they? The birth mom. After. After a surrogate birth, there was one
Aryan
where it said the woman got to, like, stay with him for an hour.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
And then there was another one where one of the. Was it one of this couple's kids or was it a different one where. No, it was one of the weird couples kids that the mom sued and was able to, through some way, get it declared that the. The surrogate dad, because he was the biological father was that he was the dad, but she was the biological mother because they used her egg or something. However it worked, so she got visitation rights, whereas normally that doesn't happen.
Big T
Okay.
Eric
It's a wild, wild thing.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
So. So where are we at with the investigation into this couple?
Eric
Right now? They're free and they're still having more babies. They're still getting more babies. They're free and they. I think it's just the FBI. It's an investigation. There's been no, like, indictment or anything like that.
Big T
Yeah. What are they doing that would break the law? I mean, child endangerment. But if they have, like, nannies that are looking after them, then yeah, I
Eric
mean, they have it out. That's what I'm saying. So the nanny's on the run. They don't really have anything really concrete other than like, child endangerment, but I think, like, wire fraud, stuff like that, because you kind of lied about and across state lines. So that's why it's a federal investigation.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
Because you lied about the situation, you lied about the household. That's all fraud. But again, even if they do get caught, I don't think it's going to be anything hefty. I think it'll be like a slap on the wrist and maybe five years, if that, like. But that's being generous as far as the evidences we have. Because we don't really have anything. Because we don't really have anything that had been done to the kids other than. Yeah, they. They got hit. They got hit. Which is bad. Right. But it's not like. It's not sexual abuse. It's not like child trafficking, stuff like that. That. That probably will be a little bit more of a higher importance on the FBI's radar.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
But it is like some shady shit. I just don't think we 100% know what it's for.
Big T
So there's. There was a lady that worked at the house. I don't know if this is the same person as the nanny that you were talking about, but there was a woman named Tina Powers, and she was working as a. An assistant for Sylvia and doing paperwork for her. And she said that the. The man, Quo John, he had surveillance cameras set up in every single room in the house. Like, he ran the house as a surveillance state. She said one time she was on the computer and she clicked an ad for a grocery store for some reason, and the guy came running from upstairs asking what. What she was doing. Like, why are you clicking on this thing? So, like, he had a command center where he's, like, watching everything all at once. It seems like something's going on.
Eric
Yeah, like something's up. But, like, we don't know yet. That's. That's the bad day. We don't know. And they're still. Like I said to this day, they're still getting babies. The lawsuits are still pending. And they fuck around. Win some of those. At least the babies back. Because they did breach the contract.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
Because all this is like. All it is is like, yeah, that's weird shit. And you hit the kid. And they could be. You know, I haven't seen any of the videos, so, like, I can't say to what extent, but, I mean, I would say over a majority of America, physically discipline Their kids. I'm vehemently against it because I grew up like that and I think it's counterproductive. But I mean, I know a bunch of people like, yeah, spanking money.
Aryan
So it's like, I mean, they were, from what it seems like though, this wasn't spanking your kids. Like they were, it was bad. It was going to the hospital and, and they shaved over heads.
Eric
There was some of those, absolutely. But again, if it wasn't like immediate, like blatant, I think they, I think this is why it's still open investigation. And it's not like they haven't moved in on them. I just, I just think the evidence is not there yet and it could be building a case. Sometimes it takes the FBI a while, but shit is crazy.
Big T
So pretty much anywhere else in the world, or most of the world, there are laws that are highly restrictive of surrogacy. So commercial surrogacy is for the most part only available in the United States. We're the only country that like has it set up as a business and there's no regulations for starting a surrogacy agency, which is kind of crazy. I think New York is the only state that requires having a license to run a surrogacy agency. And everywhere else it's just saying like, hey, if you can get together and find a woman who is willing to, to raise a, a baby inside of her for nine months, and if you can find a couple that really wants somebody else to raise a baby for them for nine months inside their body, then you can take your fee for connecting the two of them and it's all good. It's like, it does seem like there should be some more regulations around this type of thing, right?
Eric
You live regulation well or else we're
Big T
going to have the Chinese taking over our country in five years if the
Eric
free market calls for it. Eric.
Big T
Yeah, it's true. This is, this is like ultimate free market. And I guess in California I was reading that there is a way that you can, you can allow the parents to get pre birth orders so saying before the kid is born, this kid is ours. So the, the birthing mother will not have any right whatsoever to claim the child that she just gave birth to. So in some other states since surrogacy, there's like no laws around it whatsoever. In some other states, if it ran into a situation where the woman developed a strong bond with the child that she, that she nurtured for nine months, gave birth and she was like, I don't want to give this child up. It would be very. It would be tough to go through the legal system to try to, like, prove that. Oh, yeah. Well, there was an agreement, and the surrogate parents actually have a right to raise that child. But in California, you can write something like that ahead of time and have that contract set up, which is why so many people use California.
Eric
That's wild. So I said for a little update. So they have had 21 children seized, and after they got seized, they had five more born in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. And they were all taken into custody, and they're fighting for custody of them across four states.
Big T
Yeah, that's a. That's a lot of legal fees. Like, where's this. Where's all this money coming from?
Eric
I don't know, man.
Aryan
Well, they were rich.
Big T
Yeah, but, like, this rich?
Aryan
Yeah, I think so.
Big T
That's crazy.
Aryan
I mean, think of just to pay 20 women 50 grand each. That's a million dollars.
Big T
Yeah. Yeah, that's true. So the. The guy go, June.
Eric
He.
Big T
He's linked to a, like, underground criminal guy named the Dragon. Dragon Ma. Which is pretty awesome. Like, if you want to get that. If you want to get the nickname the Dragon in China, you know how hard that is?
Eric
Like, they don't just hand them shits out.
Big T
No. What would the equivalent be in the United States? States, like, big country. Right.
Aryan
We have a bunch of those. Like, we don't have anything as powerful as the. As the dragon in China.
Eric
Do we, like, do the Chinese feel as strongly about dragon as we feel they feel about it?
Big T
Yeah, I would say more.
Aryan
Yeah.
Big T
More.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
Yes, more. So. So.
Eric
Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't know. I don't.
Aryan
Because every year they're like. They're the Chinese New Year. There's. They go through a different animal or whatever.
Big T
Yeah, they. But they have the dragon parade.
Aryan
But when it's the dragon, it's, like, the biggest deal.
Big T
Well, yeah, in the. In the lunar New Year parades, there are, like, the. The dragon dances where you have, like, 10 people in line carrying a dragon, which is pretty awesome to watch because it's. They actually had one of those at the wanton Don's wedding.
Eric
Wow.
Big T
Yeah, it was. It was really cool. They did dragon dance. Yeah. So this guy, the Dragon, he's. He owns a lot of real estate in California.
Eric
I'm a tiger.
Big T
Oh, that's a good one, too.
Eric
I was looking at the year's Chinese zodiac. I'm a tiger. What are you? I am.
Big T
It depends if you go by the United States calendar or The. The lunar calendar. Because if you're born in like, January, late January, sometimes your birthday falls into the Chinese calendar.
Eric
I don't even know how to differentiate that, brother.
Big T
It's like on the edge. So, like, we celebrate New Year's January 1st, they celebrate New Year's anytime between, I don't know, like January 20th and February 14th.
Eric
I thought it was just. Okay, so. Depends on what year. So what? Which one are you? I think.
Big T
I think I might be a rat.
Eric
Are you 87?
Big T
No, 85.
Eric
85. Old hit ass.
Big T
Which might be the. The ox.
Aryan
I'm a fire ox.
Big T
Fire ox.
Aryan
Mine's the rat.
Eric
Yeah, 1996. You're an ox. You're an ox. Yeah.
Big T
All right.
Eric
I'm a tiger.
Aryan
Hard working, honest, logical and strong Leaders are the ox.
Eric
I would.
Big T
Yeah, that fits you.
Aryan
Is it ox or oxen?
Big T
Oxen is plural, right?
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
So this dude, Dragon Ma. So this guy, this guy had a bunch of office buildings. They called it Pacific Place. And Guojun also owned some of these buildings. And they got busted for having an illegal casino. They had a drug manufacturing operation and it got busted for methamphetamine, 20,000 vape cartridges and hundreds of pounds of psilocybin mushrooms with Uzi guns, boxes of ammunition, and counterfeit cash. So Gojun was not accused of manufacturing any of the drugs. But according to the complaint, he and his associates formed and dissolved entities after each enforcement action to conceal ownership, frustrate enforcement, and continue MA's unlawful gambling and narcotics operations. Corporations. So it sounds like this dude Go June is just, in addition to being a weirdo, outstanding at paperwork. Gotta be, Gotta be if you're. If you're forming all these corporations and dissolving them all the time. So yeah, Aaron, you just stepped out. But the guy, the guy, Dragon and Go June, they. Their buildings got busted for meth, drug manufacturing, casinos, firearms, and. But, but mushrooms. Yeah, mushrooms too. But Gojun was never in trouble for it, guys.
Eric
Just a slippery little. Slippery little guy.
Big T
Yeah. So keep an eye on what. What's going on. That's all I can say.
Eric
Keep an eye on my ear to the streets.
Aryan
Monitor the situation.
Big T
Yeah. 20. How many kids? 26 kids.
Eric
I don't even know. I think they have 21 under confiscation. Originally they had five out. Right now, that's. That's what my research says. Yeah, it's a lot of jits, man.
Big T
That's a lot of kids. Like, just. I'm just thinking logistically on a day to day basis, that's got to be exhausting. Who has time?
Eric
Okay. I couldn't do that.
Aryan
I guess if you're beating and neglecting them. Allegedly.
Big T
Yeah. I guess the oldest ones raise the youngest ones.
Eric
Yeah.
Aryan
Remember, 19 kids and counting that they had the buddy system.
Big T
That is true. And it worked out really well for them.
Eric
Presidents ain't gonna make themselves, you know?
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
They're probably gonna be running against each other for office at some point. There's so many of them now.
Eric
That would be funny.
Big T
Yeah. All right. Well, that does it for today's episode of Macro Dosing. It's brought to you by still blue coffee. By the way, I had a cafe mocha this morning. It was a great way to start the day. Cell Blue. It supports animal rescue organizations. We had some very cute dogs in this morning. Shout out to Paws Rescue. We support them. They're a big part of what we do here. And go out rescue a dog if you think that that might be a good way for you to fulfill your life. I know Arian's been very happy with having a dog in his life now, so check him out. I pause stellablue.com check out their coffee. Aaron, how is dog ownership going for you?
Eric
We are all in the training phase and we're at the tail end of it. And so I have. I have another training with them today. Okay, bro. When I go now, he's off leash now. I went from having a velociraptor to a trained dog. And it's amazing. He does everything you say on command. He won't move unless you tell him to move. He's still a puppy. So, like, it's impressive how fast he's came along.
Big T
Yeah.
Eric
And then it's just. It's that. That's when dogs are fun. Like when they rummaging through the house and pillaging and it's. It's. Oof. It's enough. But this, it's fun. He's. It's my guy. It's my guy.
Big T
I love it. Good for you, little guy.
Eric
Growing old.
Big T
Big T. Who's your final four?
Aryan
I think it's the 41 seeds. I mean, dude, that. That's the. The four best teams this year are, like, I think, according to Ken Palm, like, better than the rest. There's no way to. They are better than the rest of the field, more than in almost any other year.
Eric
And what. How. What is the percentage of the last, like, I don't know, 10 to 20 brackets years where all four number ones went into the final four?
Aryan
It's only happened twice, but one of them was last year.
Eric
Really.
Aryan
And it seems as though in the last couple seasons like maybe the nil and transfer portal landscape has shifted the to where the top is really top heavy. And those are going to be the teams that like I there are certainly. I think Illinois could be in the Final Four. I think Purdue could go on a run. Arkansas. But the four best teams are significantly better than the rest. I think Iowa State could make it a good point.
Eric
So have we. Have we? Nil. Sweet. I mean Cinderella stories out of the, out of the NCAA bracket, they'll still
Aryan
exist, but I think the, the portal has really concentrated the talent at the top.
Eric
Thank you. Maybe that's a good point. Maybe. Right.
Big T
The Cinderella, they're always going to exist in the first, but then it's probably going to get more and more chalky in like the Final Fours.
Eric
Makes sense.
Big T
Yep. Well, I'm very excited. I can't wait.
Aryan
Big day.
Big T
I can't wait. Huge day. How do you space out the meals? Do you have. Do you put something on your stomach before you get to the games?
Aryan
No, I'll, I'll order something for right when the first game starts. So 11:15.
Big T
Is that when you put the order in?
Aryan
No, no, no, no.
Eric
I took that totally. I took that as if you were playing. How would you eat?
Aryan
This is for watching.
Eric
Some would argue.
Aryan
Yeah. Which is harder. Which. Listen, as Big Cat has always said, you play in one game every Sunday, Saturday and Sunday we're watching 60 games.
Eric
Way harder on you.
Aryan
Yeah. So I will have food arrive here at 11:15 and then you eat again at. You have a snack at two and then as the, the night slate starts, you do dinner.
Big T
Yeah, I usually forget about dinner until like I'm already hungry for the night slate and got to get ahead of that. Then I panic and I get something that I don't really want because it's the fastest.
Aryan
Right.
Big T
So I got to, I got to remind myself this year, let's say 4:30
Aryan
comes around as the first slate's ending.
Big T
Time to start looking at options.

Aryan
I don't want to fight with Jake Marsh. I love him. He is the best. The list made me angry.
Big T
Can I give you. I'm going to read the list off. There are a couple I disagree with. Number one, March Madness round of 64 on Thursday.
Eric
That's the number one sports.
Aryan
I don't agree.
Big T
But.
Aryan
But it's acceptable.
Big T
I like that. I like that. That's a good pick.
Eric
That's the horrible number one pick. Right.
Big T
Number two, NFL Sunday week one.
Aryan
This is where I started to get angry. But keep going.
Big T
Number three, March Madness, the Friday round of 64.
Aryan
I think you could have just lumped those into one. But fine.
Big T
Number four is Sunday at the Masters.
Aryan
This is where things is this really started to go off the rails.
Eric
Is this. Is this in numerical order? Yeah.
Aryan
Yes.
Eric
Okay.
Big T
Number five, the October November loaded college football slate.
Aryan
So he just took the whole college football season. 5.
Big T
He took like the floating best weekend of the college football.
Aryan
Okay. Yeah.
Big T
Number six, College Football Playoff on New Year's Day.
Aryan
Okay.
Big T
Number seven, Christmas Day because you've got two NFL games, you've got five NBA games. Number eight, Thanksgiving, the NFL triple header and college basketball.
Aryan
Fine.
Big T
Number nine, MLB opening day.
Aryan
Fine.
Big T
Number 10, Thanksgiving eve of feast week
Aryan
has been ruined a little bit by the Vegas tournament, but acceptable.
Big T
I dis. I disagree. I don't. Feast week does not do it for me.
Aryan
Yeah, I don't. I don't love the list. Masters. I enjoy the Masters. As a casual golf observer and a native Georgian. It's not for
Eric
that's the one of the ones I agreed on.
Big T
I think it's up there. I think it's really. And big T. Maybe because of the
Eric
coverage is so it has a mystique but it's. Yeah. The tournament in general. It's the first major the season so it's like it's. It's the. The best golfers in the world. And then no other golfing tournament covers their event like the Masters. It is top tier quality golf content and so I think it's the best thing to watch in golf.
Aryan
Oh, it is in golf. Certainly I'd have it in, in the top 10, just not four.
Eric
Okay.
Aryan
Well, depending on how you. I mean, my first 14 would be college football Saturdays. If they have to be separate, that would just be 1 through 14. But if you're just. I mean, other than that, I don't hate first weekend of the tournament as one. I would go
Eric
no super bowl at all.
Big T
No super bowl is interesting.
Aryan
I actually like that the super bowl isn't, isn't a football event.
Big T
I don't think it's the best day of the NFL playoffs. I think the best day of the NFL playoffs is the usually divisional Saturday or Sunday.
Eric
Yes, I'm okay with that. I'm okay with that. But like no NFL football.
Aryan
He put, he only put week one, number two, which is crazy.
Eric
That's, that's, that's, that's what I don't understand. That's what I understand. If you're going to do enough Football
Aryan
Week 1 is like, yeah, put divisional round up if you're going to do that. Thanksgiving I like, especially with the great college basketball games they've put on Thanksgiving Day now.
Eric
I do love Thanksgiving day.
Aryan
I would have opening day higher. I'm a big opening day guy. Just for vibes. Yeah, it's great. It's just a good day.
Big T
Yeah.
Aryan
Although they're making it too early now. Now we're pushing back into like the, the not even the, like March. It's what, 27th this year or something?
Big T
Yeah, it's going to be next Thursday.
Aryan
It's going to be sweet 16. No, that's a lot.
Big T
But also like what a, what a sports day. That's going to be.
Aryan
Agreed. But it needs to be April. April 1st.
Big T
I agree.
Aryan
Yeah. I just. The, the, the week one and the, the Masters I didn't like. Also I'm not a college footballer playoff guy. So like Christmas day, the NFL has, has really transformed that. I, I'm not an NBA guy, so the Christmas NBA never did anything for me. I'd have to sit down and make my list.
Eric
But when it, when it first came out, it was like when you had like really good LeBron versus Steph. And like when it first came out, harden the rockets that was fired up. That was fire.
Aryan
The Christmas NBA commercial where they did Jingle Bells with the, the shots. That was sick.
Big T
So good.
Eric
Lit lit. LeBron just came out with a commercial with the beats. Yeah. Have you seen it? Yeah, that. They did that really well. The golf one. Dog. Yeah, he's dog at golf and he's like, block out the noise. Play again. They did that well. That was a good commercial. I liked it.
Aryan
Trying to think if there are any sports days that should be on here that aren't. I'm thinking days specifically, not necessarily just events.
Big T
Yeah, I got one.
Aryan
What's that?
Big T
It's the first Saturday in May, so that's Kentucky Derby. Yeah. Kentucky Derby day. You've got usually big NBA playoff game. You've got Stanley cup playoffs going on. There's usually a fight, too. Like a. Some sort of big fight is on that day. I'm not the biggest combat sports guy, but there'll usually be one that'll make me pay attention on that day.
Eric
Those are good days. Like if. Like back in the Mayweather days. The. Yeah, but even Bud and like his prime, too.
Big T
I mean, and you got baseball on that day, too.
Eric
You go back a little bit. Like the Tyson days and Tyson days was. That was an event, man. Didn't last long, but it was an event.
Big T
Yep. So I would. I would include that out. Jake, respectfully, Thanksgiving, eve of feast week. Get the out of here with that.
Eric
We don't.
Big T
No, it's fine. If you want to. If you want to watch college hoops the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, that's fine. You can do that. Not the best day. Not in the top 10. I would also think about switching out NFL Sunday week one for like, just NFL Sunday in general.
Aryan
Right. Like I said, My first 10 are the 10 Saturdays after labor Day.
Eric
Yeah.
Big T
Or at the very least, I would. I would make that divisional playoff Sunday. Let's just call it Sunday. That's usually the best day. But yes, Thursday is a bet. It's. It's a great day.
Aryan
Love, Jake. Always. Always great to see him on tv.
Big T
Yep. Love you, Jake. And we will see you guys next Tuesday on nano Dosing.
Aryan
Good boy.
Eric
Look at his accent.
Aryan
Well, he went into, like. That wasn't really easy.
Big T
Dude. Tucker saying goodbye.
Aryan
Goodbye.
Big T
That's awesome. Your Tucker is the best.
