Always something going on.

Yeah, like you're, you're completely locked in on sports for as long as the games are going on. You don't get that offset business where you can go up, you know, answer the phone, take a pee, let the dog out for a walk, be a real human being. I like to focus on one game at a time. I really prefer that. So I mean, the NFL is not going to listen to me. They're just going to keep scheduling game after game after game and not really care what I have to say. Movie, but then there was another one, too.

Well, y' all watching different documentaries about the same concert?

Well, none of them were documentaries. They were just like the actual concert.

It's on, like, Disney. But then now we're doing the documentary about the behind the scenes, which I will eat up. And then it's. She's releasing another concert movie of the Eras tour, but this time included the Tortured Poets set.

So they're actually. So what I was thinking was they released the movie of the concert in theaters, then she released it on Disney, and people treated it as if it was a whole new movie. Now there's this one that's the documentary. And then you're telling me there's the concert movie again, but with a little extra thing? Yes, I also saw. And you can explain this to me. I don't really understand. She's released, like, 18 different versions of her album, and you can only buy them for, like, 24 hours. Yeah, listen, I respect the capitalist in this woman. I just. I don't. What are each of the things?

They're all just, like, different. They're all just, like, different variants and, like, colors and stuff. But then it's like, colors.

So it's like Fortnite skins kind of.

And then some of them are like the acoustic version, like the stripped down version. I don't participate in that, but some people do.

Marathon runner. Very impressive. I'm super happy for you. Tell us about the experience. What was it like?

[Mackenzie]

Oh, my gosh. It was, like, so fun and so painful at the same time. But it's sort of like the pain was so consistent that it, like, didn't really matter almost. But the whole course was like, there was. People said there was lulz in certain places, and it definitely was not as crowded in certain places. But, like, literally every inch of the course, there was spectators. There was, like, people handing out stuff, whatnot. So it was. It was really like, I only. I didn't have my headphones on for, like, the first, like, six miles even. So it was like, that part was like, just so much fun. Mile, like, halfway through, I was like, okay, well, it's halfway, but that's still 13 more miles. So that was kind of like, mentally, like, okay, well, now I still have to keep going that long. And so from, like, halfway to, like, 17 was where I kind of, like, had a. It was. It was tough going through that. But then once I kind of pushed through 20, I was like, okay, I'm pretty much done now, so just keep going.

[PFT Commenter]

Only six more miles.

[Mackenzie]

Yeah, exactly.

[Big T]

But.

[PFT Commenter]

But.

[Mackenzie]

And then I just picked it up at the end because I was like, I just need to finish. Like, I just want to be done with this. But it was so much fun. It was, like, a lot. But the experience was super awesome.

[PFT Commenter]

Yeah. Are you feeling super sore today?

[Mackenzie]

My legs are sore. Madeline was nice enough to plan a little after thing for all of us. There was, like 12 of us who Ran it out at barstool. And so we all went to Declan's afternoon.

[Aryan]

Very cool.

[Mackenzie]

And got a drink. I had, like, my body felt fine, but I had a really bad migraine, so that was kind of the only thing that I was, like, struggling with yesterday. And then last night, I put on, like, a ton of biofreeze on my legs, and today I feel sore, but not as bad as I thought I was going to be, which is very nice.

[PFT Commenter]

That's great. Did. Now. Did the adrenaline kick in? Did you notice that because you hadn't trained for the full 26?

[Mackenzie]

Yeah, it definitely did, and it was nice because at the beginning, we were. All of us were in different waves, starting times, but there was four other boys that work here that we were all in the same starting time. So it was nice to have them sort of at the beginning, and we were all feeling, like, nervous and excited and everything, so it was good to sort of, like, be able to walk over together and, like, be waiting to start together. And I ran maybe two miles with. With some of them, but they were, like, way faster than me, so I was like, you guys, go ahead. But that was. That was definitely nice to have them and sort of, like, combine all of our adrenaline and, like, emotions and stuff like that. But no, it. It definitely does kick in because you're just sort of like, okay, I need to finish, so just keep going.

I'll tell you who you. You were faster than was Ben Mintz.

[Mackenzie]

Thank God.

Yeah, I. I was tracking you and. And giving updates on the live feed yesterday when we were doing the live stream for NFL Sunday. Yeah, I was letting people know. Okay. All right. You're now projected to finish seven minutes in front of him. Yeah, it was definitely. I know it's not a competition, but it became a competition for me as I was checking it.

[Mackenzie]

I love that.

[Big T]

I love that.

Yeah. So what was. What was the hardest part of the race?

[Mackenzie]

Like, I don't even know, like, the whole. The whole thing, Honestly, it was definitely, like, mentally just being, like, every time you cross the next mile marker, it was like, okay, well, this is only 16. And even though 16 is, like, an incredibly high number of miles to run, you still are like, okay, I have 10 more miles. And I, like, really didn't feel like, okay, I'm almost done until mile 21. But even that you still have, like, five more miles to go. So I think it was sort of just, like, the longevity of it sort of thing.

[PFT Commenter]

Did you. Did you zone out at all?

[Mackenzie]

A little bit. I think in that mile part, from like 13 to 17, like 13 to 17, 20ish, I definitely zoned out. I was like, I would pretty much take my breaks at the water stations because they would have like Gatorade and then water at the next one. So I would like stop, get Gatorade and then walk to the water and like, that would be my break. So that sort of helped me there. Um, but I definitely was zoned out for most of it, especially parts where there wasn't as many sort of like crowd around.

[PFT Commenter]

Yeah.

[Mackenzie]

But I sort of like. Yeah, just completely blacked out at that part.

[Aryan]

Do you know what.

[PFT Commenter]

What your fastest mile was?

[Mackenzie]

I can look. I actually don't remember. I think it might have been.

[Big T]

[Mackenzie]

Last one because I just. I sort of was like, it was either the first one or the last one because I was just like, okay, I need to finish this. Let me check. I have it on my.

[PFT Commenter]

I'd imagine that last mile's gotta be sweet. You're like, okay, just empty the tank.

[Mackenzie]

It was really nice.

[PFT Commenter]

You're done.

[Mackenzie]

It was almost like I had like a different, like, running. Like I just started running differently because I was like, running faster. Like, I had so much more energy.

[Aryan]

Runner's high, man.

[Mackenzie]

Yeah, that's exactly. That's exactly what it was. Yeah. No, my fastest mile was definitely the first two and then. And then it got like progressively slower and then towards the end, I like cut off a minute from like 24 to 26.

[PFT Commenter]

That's awesome.

[Mackenzie]

So, yeah, that was definitely. I was just like. And I was like getting texts from everyone. Like, Zupy and all the boys had finished, so then they were texting me, like, one more mile you got this sort of thing. So that was. That was fun too.

And what did you have for your post race meal?

[Mackenzie]

I. So I was like, I. Since I had such a bad migraine, I was like, I didn't want to eat anything. I was like, so pissed. I was like, what the hell? Like, I can eat whatever I want. But then thankfully, after I went home, laid down, felt a little better. I ordered a chicken parm sub, which was so good. Ate the entire thing and was feeling much better after that.

So what was the. What was the sleep like afterwards?

[Mackenzie]

So nice. Fell asleep immediately. Like, I probably fell asleep in like five minutes that night, last night and like, completely slept through the night, the entire night. So that was really nice.

And he said that he could have done a second marathon if he had to.

The super competitive distance runners are crazy.

I think the guy who won beat, like, some sort of record. It was, like. I want to say it was like, two hours and eight minutes that he ran it.

But they're like. I guess if you're only running for two hours, it's not that long. So, like, you might not stop at all the water stations or whatnot.

You get like, selected to be in sumo at a young age. And then the training. You just like live and breathe sumo all the time. You wake up every morning, you train for five hours, then you have a big lunch, then you take a nap, then you have a big dinner and then you go to sleep.

Their coach said they do five or six hours every morning and you can't consume anything the whole time. Not even water.

He said you can gargle water, but you can't swallow it. It's part of like, I guess that's how they put on weight or something. I don't even know.

So that's become kind of an analytical thing over the last few years, especially in the playoffs. But some teams have started doing it in the regular season a little bit. It's called an opener where the thinking is the three Most important outs aren't always the last three outs or the eighth inning or whatever, you know, in the. And the first inning. I mean, you saw it in that series. I think there were run scored in the first inning of every game. Yeah, the first inning is where, you know you're getting the other team's best three hitters. So you bring in, in a game five of the playoffs, bring in one of your best relievers because you know you're getting the top of the lineup. Whereas in the eighth inning, you may be getting 6, 7, 8. Well, that's city. That's a good question. Because being mayor of New York is actually not a good thing for your long term political prospects.

Nobody is well liked as mayor of New York that you don't see anybody that is mayor of New York that then becomes like a nationally like running for president or like Going on to bigger and better things after that.

Bloomberg tried, too. Giuliani tried as well. You don't see mayors of New York doing anything after being mayor because every. That's what I'm saying. Like, what could. What is considered a success? Because in the economic capital of the world, like, there's always going to be ups and downs.

I mean, people liked Giuliani at the time, but that was mostly a construct of 9, 11. I'm trying to think nationally. Did people like Gavin Newsom when he was mayor of San Francisco?

I don't know. I don't know what his numbers were like. I just think that in New York, you have so many people that live there that are insanely wealthy. There's some of the richest people in the world. A lot of them live in New York City. And a lot of what he's proposing is geared towards spending public money on the people that live at, you know, at or below the poverty line and giving a lot of the city's budget to efforts to improve their lives in one way or another. And I don't think that that's going to be able to. I think he's going to have a lot of resistance from some of the most powerful people in New York City.

Thousand percent. I just look for people who, like, I guess we could disagree on, is government spending good or not? In certain areas, that's. That's fine. But for me, it's like, if. If you're attempting to help people, to me, that's. That's a good place to start from. Like, I don't. I don't think that all politicians do that. I think a lot of them get in to bolster their Career. And to me, he seems like one of the more genuine cats that I've seen run, where he's like, calls out the actual corruption.

When we say, why don't we save some of that money and spend it here at home? Like, okay, yeah, I'm on board for that. Let's try that. If we're talking about at a national level, funding foreign governments and foreign wars and shit like that, why don't we spend some of that money to help our struggling people in the United States? Yes, yes, let's do that.

Which, again, it's probably not going to happen, but it's really good to hear at least, you know, it's really good to at least give the semblance of you giving a. That's. That's dope. Yeah. That's unique for me. It's why I like Bernie. You know, I don't agree with everything he says, but, like, at least he is calling out the corruption. He will say it. Yeah.

He's saying in the context of the courts and how things are being prosecuted, everything is. Not every, everything that is being prosecuted as violent isn't inherently violent or necessarily violence.

Could you foresee that worldview becoming maybe expanded or not the, the, the criteria becoming a little more lax once someone like that gets into power?

I think we, I think that's good. Okay. Do you think that we have too many people in prison or not enough people in prison or jail?

Okay. I would argue that we have too many people in jail. I would argue that we spend way too much resources persecuting petty crime, drug crimes, non violent crimes. That, that to me is a waste of government resources and time.

I think when it comes to, to burglary, again, I don't know what it. Does that mean like breaking and entering? Does that mean like stealing a stick of deodorant off the shelf?

Would say that like, yeah, if you break into somebody's house and they're not home and you steal something from that house, I would, I would constitute that as violence as well. Because like if there was somebody that was at home there, it's very dangerous. They, it would probably lead to a confrontation. It's a, it's a serious crime. So I, I would say that, that I would be okay with that being thrown into that basket. I would just say stealing somebody's package off their front doorstep, while shitty and while a stupid thing to do. And I, I think that those people are very, very like, you're screwing it all up for the rest of us. You're breaking the, the social contract of trust that we all have, that we all agree to. I wouldn't call that a violent crime though.

I would just say, and you see it in that clip when he said about the district attorneys. There's been a very concerted effort by leftists over the last several years that, well, violence doesn't really exist if you want to, you know, do whatever, but what you do actually is violence. So the district attorneys, that's violence against, you know, whatever particular group of people we want to protect. But what they do, violence doesn't, isn't actually real.

See, I feel like this is what we have to stop doing if we are actually going to attempt to Heal after this Trump bubble. Like, we got to stop doing this. We got to stop caricaturizing the other side's points and actually, like, address like the real issues. Like, nobody's saying, like, you're gonna find one fringe, like, maybe somebody who does not believe in any kind of policing, does not believe in any kind of jail system, all that. But the majority of sane human beings that are of the left don't think what you're saying right now, Big D. And you have to stop.

And if you look at the far left, it's a class consciousness framework that they build their ideology from. Marxism is a class consciousness. Right. It's saying the upper class is trying to fuck the lower class. And that's what I feel like the big issue is. Like it's not a left versus right thing, but they continue to make us fight over trans rights or over this or over that. And it's not. It is not our biggest issues. It's not. Sometimes illegal immigrants get Medicare. So we should take it away from millions of other people because once in a while there's somebody that gets it that shouldn't or there's some fraud or Social Security is a Ponzi scheme that's going to dry up in two years. So we should get rid of that and instead give that money to private retirement funds and you can, you can fund your own retirement through our hand selected financial contractors that we want you to put it through. That's not what the, that's not what the problem is in America. Your day to day stuff, by the way. Yeah. If you're being told like, oh, gay people are trying to indoctrinate your children. The idea is so preposterous that teachers across America are like taking kids in school and being like, hey, you're going to be gay now. That's not what happens. What happens is they get you mad at somebody that they want you to think is different than them so then they can come together and over everybody that's not making as much money and, and then more of the money goes to the top people and less of it goes to people at the bottom. And that's what I think's been happening in America for a long time, a very, very long time. And now it's just gotten so bad where it's like the top is just like insanely wealthy and they're trying to write all these new laws, protect all that shit, when in reality like the people that are at the bottom that are angry at each other actually have way, way, way, way more in common than you think. And so if you just, yeah, if you just talk to people, you realize we're all humans doing the same thing. And the real thing is like, let's, let's try to make as many people's lives better as possible.

It is a both sides thing. Like I remember in Covid, like some politicians and a lot of people on the left talking about our libs talking about like, oh, let's punish the red states that aren't getting vaccinated enough for, for our taste and things like that. That's, that's not a good way to run a government. That's not a good way to like go about getting elected. I think that that does way more harm than good. There are, there's always gonna be cultural differences, but guess what, that's just, that's a reality of things. And I think that most of the social stuff is out there as a distraction and like red meat getting tossed out. Like, go be mad at each other for this stuff. Don't be, don't, don't take the time to, to like join together on anything. So it's. Yeah, I guess that's my answer to it. It's like, yeah, there are going to be cultural disagreements about some things and let's have those conversations. But overall, I think the bigger, the biggest issues are just squarely related, especially right now with the concentration of like the wealth at the very, very, very top. And I'm not saying I'm not like anti capitalist by any means. Start a business, be wildly successful, become a millionaire. Like become, become a big fucking deal. That's a great thing about this country is that if you have a good idea and you're ambitious, you can channel that into making money and, and buying houses and sending your kids to private schools and all that stuff. That's good. I, I'm very, very happy for those people. But it's just like once, once you get to like the astronomical levels of wealth, that, that's just, it's insane because as your, as your bank account grows, so does your Influence. And then you can basically write your own laws to make sure that you get wealthier and wealthier over the years. And one guy can control the lives of millions of people just because he's got so much more money. That's where I think everybody should. And I think everybody does recognize it, because when, for, for a while, it. They made it seem like a lot of the Silicon Valley companies were, like, too liberal because of some of their, like, policies. Like, they changed the, the avatars or the, the, the icons on the app phone to like a rainbow flag during pride month or whatever. So everyone thought, oh, these Silicon Valley billionaires are all leftists now. And then people on the right started to be like, these guys are only doing that to make money. And they're right. They're only doing that to make money. But it's not like. It's not like they all became leftists all of a sudden. They're the same people that were always power hungry that are going to be power hungry. They're going to write laws that negatively affect people that are just getting by working, like, decent jobs around the world. And so it's. Don't, don't look at that as, like a cultural thing. Those people at the top, those are the ones that we should all agree they need to have less power. Does that make sense? I rambled a little bit.

That's a crazy. Imagine the type of person that would start that business.

And it's like this. This boogeyman that says Democrats want to get rid of police officers. And I don't know where it comes from. I think it comes from like really progressive cities that are like have forward thinking right in policing and policing neighborhood communities. But Biden gave like $300 million in his platform to policing. Right. I'm to the left of Biden when it comes to that. And so like this whole idea that Democrats don't respect players, don't want to fund the police. They fund the police all the time. Which is partly my issue with Democrats. Right. I believe in people policing the neighborhoods in which they come from because there's less likely to be conflict, they're less likely to be scared of their own community. One, two, I believe in taking some of the funding for the police and allocating in other ways that.

Compartmentalized with the problem that it's facing. So if you get a mental health crisis call that is not necessarily a policeman, a policeman's job, they're not equipped to have training to deal with that kind of stuff. So a lot of times you have violence against mentally ill people that need help. There's people that, that, that are professionals in that area. And so I think, I think what is it? The Denver, in Denver there's a star program that they've done, has been wildly successful that, that they allocate certain mental health calls to mental health professionals rather than sending police officers, shit like that. That's what people mean when they say defund. They don't mean take police officers off the streets. It's a boog set to try to demonize people that we, I think a lot of times Big T, Republicans and conservatives, they just think we just want this lawless land when it's just not, it's not true.

I think you've attributed a lot of things to me that I've never said, but that's okay. It should be noted Mamdani has said we don't need an investigation to know the NYPD is racist, anti queer and a major threat to public safety. What we need to do is defund the nyp. No fake cuts. Defund the police. He also called it a wicked and corrupt organization that should be dismantled. So this is where he's going to dismantled, that is.

Listen, bro, have you ever done any research into any police departments? This is from the FBI. The FBI did an investigation on Chicago, New York, Baltimore police departments and said they all had predatory racist policies, policies and practices. All of them. That's from the FBI. Pre Trump. This is dog. There is a problem with policing in this country and when you criticize it this is what's interesting to me about conservatives. When you criticize policing, y' all go crazy. But when Trump criticizes the FBI, the doj, and every other government department that is investigating him, nobody bats an eye. He's not unpatriotic. He's not un American. He's not. But as soon as you. You actually critique people who are on the ground, police and communities, it's a problem. But it's not a problem when Republicans do it, when they get investigated.

Here's where I think the disconnect is. I think there are certainly valid things that you're saying. I would assert that when people are saying things like we need to dismantle the police and things of that nature, they're probably going a little further than the issues you're talking about. Maybe I'm wrong about that. I don't know.

You are, but you are being. I'll tell you why. Because I don't hear you ever critique Trump saying, we need to get rid of the Department of Justice, the Department of Education, the FBI. None of that. You have never heard you utter those words. But when it comes to a mayor saying we need to defund the police, it's a problem. This is the problem. Y' all don't hold the same standard to the President of the United States that you do. A mayoral candidate, again, I think you're.

I want to say, like, 2014, about some of the stuff that the Chicago police used to do. And they had, like, black sites, they had, like, warehouses in Chicago that they would take people to, like, kidnap them off the street, not charge them with anything, and then hold them in these black sites, like, tied to a chair and basically torture them for hours and then release them back onto the streets. It was. It was a wild investigation.

Just before we get off this area, and since you say That. I never criticize this, that and the other. Whatever. Are you. Are you in favor of, like, some of these cities, like, I mean, it's most major cities around the country, but, like, the guy who just stabbed the girl in the neck, killed her for no reason, had been arrested I think, 14 times. Like, that's. Or is that one of the things that's also not happening, that people are just getting caught and released over and over and over again and then committing more crimes? What is the question in most major cities around the country, like, cashless bail has been enacted. You can get arrested, get out. Is that something you're opposed to? Or is that.

Are you in favor of putting somebody in jail for life over minor crimes?

No, that's not what I said.

Then this is not a. And this is. This is not a. Are you in favor of this or you in favor of that? This is a broader policy conversation in which it is astounding to me that we live in major cities, that we refuse to give people mental health care, proper health care, and then when acts of violence happen, we're surprised. This is a byproduct of that. People are not okay in the head. And when this happens, instead of treating the symptom, we want to treat the end product of poverty, of mental illness in our neighborhoods and our communities are.

You find me a Republican that says, I want to give mental health care to people in impoverished neighborhoods, and I will vote for this thing. I promise you I'll vote for him.

I'm not a judge, I don't know, but quite a while. If you've committed 15 robberies, this matters.

This is, this is why social issues are studied. And all this, all this is, is a, is, is symptomatic of the American experience. Like if we don't fix, if we don't attempt to fix the reasons why people are doing these things, it's going to continue to do. They're going to continue to do it. So when you ask me, well, these people are robbing people, I don't look at it like we gotta stop them from robbing people, so let's put them in jail. That to me is a dead end response. Sure, in a short time. Yes. I don't think there are people that can exist in society civilly. Right. But long term, there's never any long term plan. I see from the right. All they wanna do is they just want to cover it up with a band aid and putting people in jail. I think that's ridiculous. I think there's reasons why people rob. I know people that have robbed. They're good people, they just do dumb because they don't have guidance. They don't have this. They had lack of funding, lack of support, lack of father, whatever the case may be. Right. This is the, that's the problem.

Yes, but I think that's just such a ridiculous notion that you think I, I don't think people. I'm not a prison abolitionist. There are prison abolitionists out there. I don't necessarily agree with them. I think there's a reason why the recidivism rate in our country is so high. I do, and I think there's data to support this. I think the reason why our recidivism rate is so high is because we don't incarcerate People to rehabilitate them, re incarcerate people to punish them. And it doesn't work. It doesn't work. I'm not saying jail should be a fun place, but there's zero effort made, I believe, on the part of the state to try to rehabilitate people to come back into society. I mean, there's people that fight for having libraries in prisons and jails. Like, people don't think they should have any kind of semblance of humanity once you go to jail. So you come out more angry. What do you think you're going to do? You more angry. You have priors on you, so you're not able to get a job. What are you going to turn and what are you going to do? These are issues that we like to attack. But you think people are just bad people. And I don't think, I never said that. But you vote like that. You vote for people that, that think like that. That's the problem.

I think you, you would agree. You only got two choices. One of them I disagree with way more than the other. You would agree with that. You don't like Democrat politicians, Most of them.

I think that the recidivism thing is real thing. Like when you get out of jail, you can't get a job. Of course you're gonna go back to crime at some point. And then I, but I, I do know what Big T's saying. Like, if, if you are a habitual line stepper and you're violent and the violence is escalating, then we've kind of run out of options at that point. But that tied in with like, spending a lot of money. I think we need to spend a shitload of money on rehabilitation programs. When people get out of prison. We need to figure out like a massive, massive program to help people get jobs when they're out and have them be able to transition back into society so you don't keep doing that shit. But yeah, Big T, yeah, there are some people that are just gonna, they're, they're more violent by nature. And those people, I think 99% of America would agree, like, if you're out there robbing people with a weapon and you do it over and over again, you should be, you should be away from society, which I don't, I don't disagree with that.

I don't, you won't find, I don't think a rational person that disagrees with that. It's, I guess it's just frustrating because it's like, again, the, the, the. The strawman that, that you put up is like, of course I think people should go to jail. Like what that was, that has never been.

But that is a. Those are real things that are happening in cities across America.

Again. Yes, but if you look at, if you was to look at crime stats, violent crime statistics, right, Would you think that they are lower or higher in the past decades than. Past decades?

Lower than like the 80s?

That's what I'm saying. So it's. Yes, there's crime. If you have people that live together, they're crime. But things are better than when they used to be. I grew up in the 90s where it was way worse, way worse. And, and people gradually get, get better sometimes we fall off sometimes. But I think this society is trending in a good direction, in a progressive direction. But I think a lot of times everything gets hyperbolized because we're online all the time. It's not a reality. Like does happen and it sucks and it's bad and I don't agree with it. Like, no, I don't think motherfuckers should walk around stabbing people, bro. No, I think it's horrible. But there's a reason why that man. Like that. There's a reason why. And I want to attack the reasons why people are like that. That's what I feel like the big disconnect between me and you is. I want to attack the reasons why and I want to treat the reasons why so that we can prevent that kind of shit from happening. I don't think we're ever going to have a society where there's no crime. But I think we can have a really, really good society if we actually care, actually cared about our civilians. And I don't think we do. And I think it's fair, very clear as to how we spend our money, which is why I'm excited to see MTG and Candace Owens and a lot of people on the right are starting to realize, hold on, man, like, what the fuck is. Why are we spending so much money? Ukraine started with Ukraine, now it's Israel now. Why are we spending all this money? But we over here talking about healthcare. We can't afford healthcare. How's the thing? I think once we as a left and right wake up to that, that's to me is when we really go forward as Americans. But it's keep fighting over these trans swimmers, man.

The cash bail situation is an interesting one because I don't know enough about how to solve it, but I do know that I understand why people disagree with having a bail system that's based on how much money you have have, because then it's like two standards of justice based on your wealth. So I understand that. I guess they're saying now like it's up to a judge to make a momentary decision whether or not you have a high probability of showing up for your trial or committing another crime while you're out. And I think that judges for a long time love the cash bail system because at that point, like it's not on them. It's like, hey, if you come up with the money then, then you're good and it's not a choice I have to make. And now they're less likely to keep people locked up because they obviously, in case you're innocent and they, they don't want to like just say no, I'm mandating that you stay in jail until your trial. And then they could be wrong about whether or not you're guilty. But having a system where it's like if you're rich, then you can get out until your trial, if you're poor, you tough luck, you're going to be, you're going to be locked up in here. So I understand that criticism of it, but I also think that the I, if you take that away, then you're just way more likely to have people committing crimes, not showing up for their trials, repeat offenders, things like that. So that's one where I really don't know what the solution is.

So it's a byproduct to me of, of over prison population. Right. So I just look at real quick, Google search. 43% in September of 2025 reported that 43% of inmates were serving time for some kind of drug offense. That's almost half the people in jail for drug offenses.

Right?

That's ridiculous. It's nonsense. And so like if we can regulate. I know we've had this conversation before, pft, and we don't necessarily agree, but if we can regulate alcohol, which is the one of the biggest killers of Americans, right. If we could regulate that, then we could regulate all drugs and stop criminalizing it. It's a waste of resources. It is a waste of resources. There's no way you should be locked up for weed anymore. That's insane. I don't think you should be locked up for any drug.

I think we need to regulate it.

[Aryan]

But if, imagine we have nobody in jail for drugs because we found a way to regulate it, tax it one, it would stop a lot of the cartel shit, right? We don't have to bomb cartel boats anymore. But two, it'll free up the prison system for a lot of violent crimes so that we can actually hold people that are actually violent and actually a threat to society. I don't think a dude smoking weed is a threat to society. I don't think a dude selling weed is a threat to society. Cocaine, you know what I mean? It can be regulated in a real way. Bootlegging used to be illegal. I know that's far progressive, but, like, to me, that's a big asset. That's one of the answers. Like, I don't know if it'll work, but I know this don't.

I think we are a very divided country at the moment that doesn't have anything we really agree on as a culture.

And I think even the most basic things that you would think people would agree on are so divided that it's just. It's completely lost.

The American experiment is like. It's kind of based on immigration, though. Like, throughout the years, you've got Irish people, you've got Italian people that when they first came here, they were. They were looked down upon and. And treated as the scourge of the country and blamed for all the woes that it had. But, like, throughout the years, you get people from all over the world that. That immigrate here, and then it's going to be less likely that there will be one, like, unifying culture behind this country. And that's. That's what it's always going to be like. That's what it's always been like.

Like, I'm not even saying culture in the. The way you're using it. I'm just saying we don't have any set of values, like, even down to, like, should people who commit violent crimes be imprisoned? There's a sharp divide on that.

How long do you want to keep them in jail? And then that's what I went down, the recidivism rate. Because we don't incarcerate people to make them good citizens or, you know, productive citizens in the society. That's not why we incarcerate people. Part of it is the privatization of prisons. You have to keep those bed fulls, those beds filled. So, yes, I believe if you commit violent crimes, you should spend time. I would have to go over data points upon data points. I'm not qualified enough to say how long. Right. But I know if somebody commits violent crimes over a long period of time, that doesn't mean that they deserve to spend their life in jail. No, that's insane. So the reason why that dude stabbed that woman on, on the, the, the, the bus, we'll never know the exact reasons, but what we do know is he was schizophrenic. That is a mental disorder that maybe he didn't have the money for medication for. Maybe he skipped on his medication. Maybe he didn't have the support system to continue to take his medication. Whatever the case may be, that was a bigger factor than him being released, in my opinion. Okay, you don't think so?

I think it's, I mean, it's obviously clear he was mentally ill. I don't, I don't know enough about that particular situation to. I don't know.

Yeah, he Seth made a very important announcement on like Thursday or Friday of last week and saw a lot of libs being like oh, we're building an Air Force base for Qatar in the United States. I actually saw a lot of conservatives saying that to him being like this is kind of fucked up. I did some digging into it. My understanding is they're building a facility or a program on our already existing air base in Idaho in which we will use to train the Qatari Air force on the F15E. This is not necessarily an unusual thing for us to do this with governments or militaries of our allies if we want to train them on certain equipment that we're selling them. So it happens from time to time. It's happened in the past. It'll continue happening in the future. It's just interesting that now Qatar is like so close and such like a close ally to the United States when like four months ago we were accusing them of being terrorists and funding and abetting terrorists.

So I only have two minutes of info on this. But hey, Arian, just so you're aware, based on the information I have on this, I'm vehemently opposed to it.

So we've done this before with Israel. We've done this. We trained the, or helped to train the Ukrainian pilots on F16s here in the United States. So it's something that we do with allies. We've done it repeatedly with allies. But Qatar has gone from funders and sponsors of terrorism to close enough allies to give them a facility on one of our Air Force bases in record time.

That's a good question. I guess you got. We have better training environments here. Qatar is a small country, so you don't get the same type of environment when you're up in the sky. Different terrains over here, as opposed to Qatar. Probably a more active military environment in the Middle east where somebody could mistake a training mission for an actual military mission and then that would screw up your training mission. There's a few reasons for that, I think why the US Would be a better place to do it. Also, since like we build the planes here in the United States, we've got more quality, lots more qualified instructors and expertise. All right, so I think that's where we're at with that. But yeah, the F15 Strike Eagle is a monster of an airplane. Can carry so many missiles. It's pretty sweet. Air to ground, air to air, you name it. The F15E does it all. Okay, let's See anything else? One was like, before we started. Then one was like, literally during the race, he, like, ran by me. He's like, oh, I'm a Macadosian. So it was a good little boost. So shout out to them.

But how crowded was.

Was crowded. But it wasn't like I saw a. After the fact, I saw the starting group start, and it was like a drone view. And from that view, it looked like so many more people than I thought there were, being there, but they have it run very efficiently. So it was obviously crowded, but it wasn't like. It didn't feel like, oh, we have to run to get to our corral. It was very organized. Obviously, they do this every year, but it was. It was very crowded. Like, I think there was like. I mean, my bib number was, like 70,000 something, so what the fuck? Yeah, so there was probably, like, close to that running it, but it didn't. It didn't feel, like, too overwhelming at the start or anything, but it was good. But shout out to those guys who. Who saw me. Saw me probably, like, dying on the race, but it gave me a little boost, which was nice.
