Contact with our leader, Mark Levin. Hello America. Mark Levin here. Our number, 8773-8138-1187-7381-3811 danielgreenfield.org Virginia begins criminalizing opposition to Islam There is a big and growing pocket of Islamists in Northern Virginia and they have a lot of sway within the last 10 years. And because every one of these counties in Northern Virginia is controlled by the Democrats and left wing Democrats, they work closely with the Islamists on zoning, on school lessons, on hiring and firing. We've seen this throughout Europe with the left and of course, we saw in Iran when the left worked with Khomeini, he took over the country and then he slaughtered them. The left is quite stupid. Senator Saddam claims that Virginia is in the middle of an Islamophobia crisis. The second Muslim selected for the state Senate if the Ghazala Hashmi, who is now acting as Virginia's lieutenant governor, the Bangladeshi immigrant from a country where non Muslims are being murdered in the streets has made complaining about Islamophobia in his new home his signature issue. Senator Saddam Azim Salem his first priority has been a bill to define Islamophobia. The most notable thing about his bill, SB624, assault and battery definition of Islamophobia. The penalty is now completely unnecessary. Virginia already has multiple layers of hate crime enhancements for assaults motivated by race, ethnicity and religion. During Governor Glenn Youngkin's term, the legislature has already passed SB 7. That's Senate Bill 7 and its counterpart enhancing the assault charge for anyone who intentionally selects the person against whom a simple assault is committed because of his race, religious conviction, gender disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, color or ethnic or national origin. Does that include Everybody, including Caucasians? Mr. But I don't know people of UN color that should cover Islam and Muslims, he writes. And yet Senator Saddam introduced a three page bill with 10 clauses in the first section, a whole lot of whom do nothing more than ad, including Islam where it is remotely needed or useful, for example, because of his race, religious conviction, including Islam. I'm quoting from it gender disability, gender identity, or because of his race. So he keeps putting in Islam, Islam, Islam throughout. Why provide Islam with this privileged status? Doesn't say anything about Christians and Jews and Buddhists and Hindus and so forth. Because it makes Islam distinct, which is a step toward making it superior. And making Islam distinct and superior is the religious mission of believing Muslims, he writes. This isn't about making sure that attacks on Muslims are prosecuted, but about providing Islam with special privileges. And it's about using supposed crimes against Muslims as bait for Islamophobia indoctrination. The Islamophobia switch in SB624 comes after the bait about assaults. First. The bill sets out a definition of Islamophobia which transforms a term created by Islamists seeking to impose the religion on society into an official legal term. Remember, Christopher Hitchens warned us about this. He said about 15 years ago, actually more like 18 years ago, they've invented this word Islamophobia. It is. It's not a real word, but they've invented it. And now Daniel Greenfield's pointing out, now they're legalizing it and using it as a club. Notably, the definition in SB624 in Virginia States that Islamophobia means malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims, unquote. The distinction is legally significant as prejudice, quote, unquote, towards Islam is distinct from prejudice towards Muslims. For example, in the uk, burning a Quran has been prosecuted as a form of hate towards Islam, and that opens the door to blasphemy laws. Anybody with the First Amendment? No, not now, no. These are all recent immigrants into this country now playing the system, you understand? Having malicious prejudice towards Muslims, he writes, is perfectly sufficient in prosecuting an assault or a case of discrimination. Islam, however, is a religion. And just like any religion or any other belief system, people have the right to be opposed to it as long as they don't mistreat others. The use of Islam or Muslims embeds the first stage of blasphemy law inside Virginia law. But that's the whole reason why Islamophobia, so called, was manufactured as a political term. Unlike racism or antisemitism, it's not hatred towards a group, but towards an ideological abstraction. Islamophobia legislation isn't protecting persecuted individuals, but the status of an ideology. And those forms of protection invariably turn out to ban blasphemy against Islam. For censoring cartoons, art. At least one of the professors who was fired from showing paintings of Muhammad in a class. Excuse me. And any public criticism of the Islamic persecution of women, minorities and all non Muslims. The point he makes is a brilliant one here. This is a legal sanction for speaking against an ideology. For speaking against an ideology. SB624 claims it's not trying to regulate or restrict any speech, expression or belief, but by including a definition of Islamophobia that mentions Islam and puts it first, it's laying the groundwork for doing exactly that. And his other point is important too, which is Islam gets a higher status than every other religion or race or whatever. Compare this to HB 2261 under Youngkin, which Islamists and leftist groups urgently opposed, which defined anti Semitism and which does not mention Judaism, but rather define it as a hatred toward Jews and includes rhetorical and physical manifestations of hostility or hatred that may be directed toward Jewish or non Jewish individuals or their property, the Jewish community or Jewish institutions and religious facilities. In all of these cases, antisemitism involve hatred against Jewish people or against Jewish synagogues or other facilities, not Judaism as a belief system. Why doesn't Senator Saddam's Islamophobia bill use that as a model? Because it's not about protecting Muslims from violence, but about imposing Islam as a legal concept on Virginia. And I assure you he got help with the legal team over at Cairo. But if not at care one of these other radical Islamist groups. Because the object of SB 624 and every effort to define Islamophobia isn't Muslims, it's Islam. The pretense that Muslims are facing violence and need a new bill to protect them falls apart because the very definition is aimed at protecting Islam, the religion, not Muslims as individuals. Virginia's extensive hate crime codes already amply protect Muslims from anything and everything. The only gap so called from the Islamist perspective is the status of Islam. The Islamophobia definition of SB624 gives a distinct and special status to Islam. It defines Islam as an entity that must be protected by the government and the law enforcement agencies. From the bill obligates to use this definition of Islamophobia when prosecuting hate crimes. And that paves the way for criminalizing Quran defacement and Muhammad paintings. It's telling the Virginia's highest profile Islamophobia case was a lie. And it happened in Fairfax county, which is represented by Senator Saddam Adam Saleem, the author of that bill. Darwin Martis Torres, an illegal alien Ms. 13 gang member killed Nabra Hassan, a Muslim teenage girl. And rather than blaming Fairfax sanctuary policies that enabled Torres to be there roaming the streets, Islamist groups And their radical allies falsely blamed Islamophobia and intimidated local authorities, including prosecutors, into propping up their hoax. He writes, police initially correctly stated it was a road rage killing before being forced to spread the lie that it had been motivated by Islam. The evidence that it was a hate crime, well, in the words of the Washington Post reporter, hitting a 17 year old girl with a bat and dumping her body in a pond would be an act born of hate, perhaps, but not of Muslims or of Islam. Nebra Hasanen's murder was used to promote the myth that there was an Islamophobia crisis in Virginia. And SB624 is the next stage in which Islamists profit by creating a distinct legal status for Islam. That is how one lie about Islamophobia becomes a state. This is a real connivance here. It's one thing to get in the face of somebody and start trashing them because of their faith or hitting them or doing worse. It's another thing to raise questions about a particular faith that can't be criminalized. Yet in Virginia, it's going to be criminalized. Look what's happened to Virginia. Look what's happened to Virginia since the swearing in of all the Democrats in the assembly, in the Senate and the Governor's Mansion. Look what's happened to Virginia. Took no time at all. They're destroying it at breakneck speed. Virginia, I think, has five or maybe six Republican congressmen. They're going to have one one out of 11 in a state that voted 47% for Donald Trump. 1. Hakeem Jeffries is demanding that the Senate leader in Maryland eliminate the one Republican seat Maryland has eliminated. So there's no Republican representation as in Massachusetts. That's why I said he's the George Wallace of our time. He doesn't believe in one man, one vote. He, one woman, one vote. And at the same time, of course, illegal aliens. They want to protect them. He even said the other day, and I brought it to your attention here, that there needs to be a pathway for citizenship for these people. So they're going to destroy our electoral system, they're going to destroy our legal system. They're going to empower themselves, the Democrat Party. And you're not going to recognize this country, a country of civil liberties, a country diversity, country of tolerance. You're not going to recognize this country and it's not going to take 25, 30, 50 years. It's going to happen during the lifetime of your children and your grandchildren. I'll be right back. Mark le Beginning. You know What? Pure Talk's favorite holiday is President's Day because they believe wireless service should only cost you a couple of presidents. Now, after all this talk by that state senator and these phony Muslim civil rights groups, Madame Talib and Omar and so forth. And so when I ask you these questions, ladies and gentlemen, how come there's not a single Jew elected to any office in any Muslim majority country? Hmm? How come there's not a single Christian elected to a top office in Qatar, in Saudi Arabia? First of all, most of them are not democracies, are they? They don't hold real elections, do they? They would never allow a Jew to serve in any office appointed or elected. And the only Christian they allow is the mayor they appointed at Bethlehem, who our dear friend, the former ambassador to Israel, David Freeman, points out as nothing but a stooge for the Palestinians. So there's that. And yet we have people come to this country, Islamists, who want to rewrite the hate crime statute in, among other places, Virginia, to make it a hate crime, to effectively criticize Islam. Talk about Islamophobia. They don't talk about Jewophobia or Christianophobia, of which there's a ton. Where exactly is this widespread violence against Muslims in the West? Where is this? The widespread violence against Muslims is in Muslim majority countries by Islamists who brutalized them in Syria, in Yemen, in Iran, in Jordan, in Egypt. I am sure I left out about 12 countries. So I watch this as these ideologues come into our country, seek to use our freedoms, our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our electoral process, to impose their tyranny. And the Democrats are perfectly happy with this as long as these people are voting Democrats. And so as long as they vote Democrat, like in 10 of the top cities in England, like throughout France and so forth throughout Western Europe. Sure. But then there's a little bit of a problem when the Islamists turn on the. On the left. But in our country, the Islamists are not going to turn on the left because they haven't gotten far enough yet. There will be a point at which they do, because the Islamists do not believe in gay marriage. The Islamists do not believe in LGBTQ anything. The Islamists do not believe in free speech and freedom of association. The Islamists. The Islamists do not believe that there should be a diversity of viewpoints. One viewpoint, and they can't always agree on that. And the Islamists don't believe that the west should exist. They don't believe the United States should exist. They don't hide it. Now, some of their politicians do. Behind Islamophobia. But it's amazing to hear this. You want to know where Islamophobia is? It's in Qatar. It's in Saudi Arabia. It's in Syria. It's in Yemen. That's where Islamophobia is. Notice they don't call it Muslim phobia. Do you notice that, Mr. Producer? Islamophobia. Because we're talking about the worst of the worst. The jihadis, the Islamists, Islamophobia. It's not a phobia, it's a reality. You could go to these countries, probably wouldn't live, but you can go to these countries and actually interview Muslims on the street. And they're going to tell you how they detest these Islamists. I'll be right back. You know what PureTalk's favorite holiday is? Presidents Day. Because they believe wireless service should only cost you a couple of presidents. This is where liberalism ends. At Liberty begins the Mark levin Show at 877-381-3811. See, what is today's date? Ms. February 16th. It's been 10 months since I decided to take after Katarlson, Third Reich Bannon. A few months later, after Megyn Kelly. What's another guy's name? Pros Biak or something or other, I don't remember. Pros Biak. Fuentes. Fuentes. And you were with me every step of the way. And it was very lonely, wasn't it? In America, I'd get these phone calls from people, you know, and I won't humiliate them. Keep it up, Mark. You're doing a great job. And my wife would get very angry, said, well, what are they doing? They're doing nothing. And all over the Internet. And I spent a little time there having fun, but it is a cesspool. It's. They thank each other, Mr. Producer, for what they've done in the last three or five months. Have you noticed that? I want to thank so and so, so and so, the true voice of this. Oh, he had Bannon. He did. I'm like, well, that's fantastic. The true voices of conservatism. Where were they? That's why we do things differently here. That's why this radio audience, you are massive. You're loyal, you're red blooded Americans just like me. I'm the same as you. Bannon's really taking it now because the Epstein files, which he said he wanted release, which his supporters said they wanted release, have been released. And his DNA is all over that damn thing. He was a kiss ass to Epstein. He was conspiring with Epstein to take out the president's family. Ivanka and Jared, a big leaker, apparently. Ehud Barak, who apparently they worked with, who is a radical leftist, a failed prime minister who has spent years trying to destroy Netanyahu and will do anything to get rid of Netanyahu. And he comes off as a complete sleazeball in there. And Epstein and Bannon are supporting the guy. This is why Bannon, day after day, night after night, was trashing Netanyahu. This is why Bannon flipped from being a Christian Zionist to being, in my view, an Israel hater and an anti Semite in many respects, if not all Respects my opinion. But listen to the guy. I think Qatar is the big reason why Katarl Sin is Qatar. These are very sick and evil individuals. Candace Owens is a mentally unhinged buffoon. I barely talk about her because I figure why she's destroyed herself. I don't care what kind of following she has. She has a legacy her children will have to live with. This guy Fuentes, he doesn't know who he hates and who he loves. It just depends on the day. Why? Because he's another mentally ill mental midget. So he doesn't know whether he should put on his brown shirt or his white robe or what the hell he's supposed to do. Of course, Fuentes is very embarrassed by his heritage, which includes being Mexican. Claims to be Italian. Did you know that, Mr. Producer? Oh, yes. Much like the idiots in the street a couple years back outside of Colombia were busy waving the Italian flag when they meant to be waving the Palestinian flag, such as it is. This is what we're dealing with. All these people have at root an IQ of a cucumber. They're all failed drama queens and drama kings. They've all failed at real media, a real media. Some have been fired, some have had to quit, some have been forced out. And they have determined that the best way to get rich and infamous, I guess, is to be as racist and bigoted and anti Semitic and anti Christian, as foul mouth as possible. Because there's a certain percentage of the audience that wants to listen to it, particularly overseas. They have a big overseas following. So we were duking it out here alone for a very long period of time. And now we have a lot of people who are duking it out with these reprobates. And that is a damn good thing. And I urged that and I encouraged that. I just wanted people to show. Rather to show people who have a microphone or a camera or both. You can do this and you'll survive to the next day. So do it. I just posted the speech I gave at the Republican Jewish Coalition. Take a listen to that. Before that, I gave a speech to Christians United for Israel, another fantastic group. Take a listen to that, if you care. I'm just explaining. And in each one of those cases, I said, speak out, stand up. Particularly if a microphone and a camera. What are you waiting for? Because these people are destroying the Republican Party. They're destroying or trying to, the President and maga. They have their own agenda. They have massive narcissistic egos. They don't have any principles whatsoever. Think about these people from Katarlson to Fuentes to Owens and on and on along the list from Bannon. They have no principles, but they're slick talkers. They all talk fairly quickly. Slick talkers that they know how to do because that's what they were trained to do. Bannon was in Hollywood for years. Kitarlson has been in the talk business in the writing period. Nothing else. She's never done anything else. Fuentes is still pre pubescent, but that's pretty much all he does. Kelly's been bouncing around and broadcasting for her whole career, except I think she was a lawyer for about five minutes. I don't know. I don't care. But you can't point to anything these people have done that is profound or lasting in a substantive way. Nothing. Zero. Zero. And so the Epstein papers, I've said, you know, they're just trying to get Trump with this thing. There's nothing in there on Trump and there's nothing in there on Trump except in the last group of papers that were released, he contacted the Palm Beach County Sheriff and said, you got a problem with this guy Epstein? And he said, we're looking into him and Trump, basically. Good. Something needs to be done about him. Wow, that's pretty compelling, I would say, wouldn't you, Mr. Producer? But there's nothing in there about him in any sinister way. None. That's why the Biden regime never released this stuff. Then you have Massey in the city at row. What's his last name again? Khanna. Ro. Con man and Messi. This guy goes to the floor, this Khan, and I think Massey did too, but. And starts reading names of individuals for them in particular, who never did anything wrong. They were actually working for the prosecution. I think they were part of a lineup. You know how you get these guys in a lineup who haven't done anything wrong, but they look a certain way, so they want to. They set up well, you watch TV enough, you've seen that. So these poor guys who did nothing, this Roy Khanna goes to the ro. Khanna goes to the floor of the House where he's protected under the speech and debate clause, and starts reading their names out. One of them gets fired. And this is why you need to understand from a legal perspective, this is why you just don't start releasing people's names, even though the politicians want it released, because they're trying to get people and they're trying to get Trump. But this is why names are redacted and so forth. So finally, justice said, okay, here you go. Now, to me, Ro Khanna and Massie should be expelled for what they did. You believe in civil liberties. You believe in due process. This is basic stuff. They won't be expelled because there won't be enough votes, but they should be expelled. This is why Talib should be expelled. Not because of this per se, but because of her association with terrorist front groups, which has now been reported. She should be expelled, but she won't be because the Democrat Party, the whole damn thing, is now associated with various terrorist front groups, terror and so forth, with Hamas. So we do have an enemy within, and we do have a Democrat Party that is really an alien entity within our Republican system, small R Republican system. And now they want to destroy the way we vote. They want to make sure illegal aliens are counted for the purpose of empowering them. The Democrats. That's why the border was open, and that's why they would keep it open. Look, if they win, they're going to keep the border open and they're not going to deport anybody. It's over. And if they get the court to do what they want the court to do, which is to say there's some constitutional right to birthright citizenship, that is a as close to an arrow to the heart of the republic as you can get. It's very, very damning and dangerous. So Bannon is now Persona non grata among a lot of people who took him seriously. The war room. I told you, it's the fraud room. How do you take a guy seriously? Was arrested by the feds when he was on a boat with a Communist Chinese guy. He gets a pardon for any federal offenses related to this scheme where he was ripping off people for. I'm going to build a southern wall. Trump won't go up, but I'll raise enough money. So maybe some of you got ripped off because the audience was who he sought to rip off. But the state prosecution, he agreed to plead guilty because he didn't want to do any more prison time. He pled guilty. He didn't have to. He did. And people still watched him and quoted him. Now he's all over the Epstein files. He was giving advice to Epstein even when he knew Epstein was a complete sleazeball. And then when you read some of this stuff, he was like a yes man for Epstein. And he was thrilled when a federal judge threw some case out involving a poor young woman. Victory. You know, Bannon, there's a reason he doesn't work at the White House anymore, folks. Seriously. And he never should be anywhere close to it. And I don't know why any of you are listening to him or following. You know, I love this line. We shouldn't deplatform people. My view is they deplatform themselves. We're the market. We just want nothing to do with them. It's like Guitarluson, you know. Oh, you must be Israel first. Let me say this. At least Israel's an ally. Their democracy. We support each other. Qatar was involved in 9 11. Saudi Arabia was involved in 9 11. They're destroying our school system, K through 12. They're destroying our colleges and universities. They're pushing the Islamist radicalism onto our country. Which side would you take? America? Or is this show flying by? We'll be right back.
