It's all quiet in the underground bunker, doors closed, locks bolted. But the great one isn't just resting on his laurels. He's making sure your weekend is even better by giving you his best. This is the best of Mark Levin.
Welcome to the program. So I did the Sunday show. I hope you all were able to watch it on Fox Life, Liberty and Levin. And the opening was a little different than people expected, was on Birthright Citizenship, which I had not had an opportunity to discuss again on Fox, even though I had two or three times earlier in my career there, because that decision will be coming down and when it comes down, it's going to be a big deal. And there was nothing else I could say about the fantastic effort, successful effort by the administration, by our military to retrieve the second pilot. We'll get into that later. But rather than just repeating all the news that was known and a lot wasn't known by then, just certain amounts of information gotten out, I just thought I should go ahead and proceed. And so I decided in preparing that monologue last night, I wanted this to be in as plain of English as possible so even a Supreme Court justice could understand, even a leftist could understand, even the media can understand the absolute hoax that is birthright citizenship. And I've done it with you folks, and I've done it with the Levin Liberty's Voice video podcast. And I've done it before on fox, but I decided really, really make it granular, textual, make it as understandable as possible. And I did that for 20 minutes. And I went through carefully, slowly with the highlights of the 1866 civil rights decision. Who were the authors of that act? I should say, who were the authors of that act? Why was it passed in the first place? And gave the history surrounding it and the environment surrounding the passing of that act. And then it had been vetoed by the then President Johnson, a Democrat who became president as vice president when Lincoln was assassinated. And why was that important at the time? And so then we discussed the authors of the 14th amendment and why did they decide to have a 14th amendment and the history surrounding that and what the people involved in it had to say. And then I went to the language of the 1866 Civil Rights Act, I went to the language of the 14th amendment and they tell us what it meant. And I explained, as I have with you, that you don't have to go to Blackstone, you don't have to go to English common law, you don't have to go anywhere except what's right in front of you, that's what constitutional conservatism is all about. That's what originalism is all about. That's why we're not right wingers, we're not left wingers, we're not wingers at all. That is the press, that is modern day academia trying to pigeonhole you and me as something that we're not and push us over into the corner and, and they pretend to be the center of the action. We're the center of the action. We're the core of what the people who founded this country believe. We are you and me. And so we walked through it and the President watched it. He thought it was fabulous. He posted on it, he was encouraging everybody to watch it, including Supreme Court justices. And the media was furious. They were furious. And so we have headlines like, let's see Mediaite. I've told you about this site before, with the exception of one or two people, really is a slop site. Trump tells SCOTUS to study Mark Levinch on Money Making Birthright hoax Then picked up by their sort of inbreds, these leftist sites panicked. Trump 79 rages at Supreme Court in 1am and meltdown. Newsweek. Donald Trump says Supreme Court should base decision on Fox News host And the headlines were all like this, just dismissive because the media are partisan, they're activists, they're left wing, they hate the Constitution, they hate the president, they hate you, Mr. And Mrs. America. They say better things about Hamas and Hamas supporters in this country and Iran and Iran supporters in this country than they do about you. Than they do about you. So part of the problem we have obviously is there are people who aren't really focused in on these things. And so they read headlines and they read some of these reports on what's taking place because the press are supposed to be a source of information, of news, but they're not. They're not. Donald Trump says Supreme Court should base decision on Fox News host Newsweek. Donald Trump was not talking about the Fox News host. He was talking about what the Fox News host had to say. And there's not a thing in that Newsweek article that contradicts, counters, challenges anything that I said. Nothing in Mediaite. They lied and they distorted and they deceived. They said it's been the long standing position of the Supreme Court that birthright citizenship applies. We're talking about illegal alien children. The Supreme Court's never even ruled on that ever. There's no federal statute on that ever. Talking about birthright citizenship. And so here you have a so called reporter who's a complete liar. But rather than take on what I argued and what I stated, the substance of it was some counter arguments. They had none. It reminded me of most of the justices during the hearing last week. If they had a single example, just one, one, than any of the authors of the 1866 Civil Rights act, which was the precursor, which really the motivator behind the 14th Amendment, or if they had a single statement by anybody who was involved in the 14th Amendment promoting the idea of universal citizenship to anybody born into the United States, including illegal aliens. Let's see it. Let's hear it. There's nothing. Zero. There was no such thing as illegal aliens back then because they didn't have immigration laws of much of much to speak of. So they didn't counter the Solicitor General of the United States when he was arguing, although he went off in the same areas. I wouldn't have. But nonetheless, I'm just staying focused. They went off the things like, if it's the intent of the illegal alien who comes into the country or any alien that comes into the country, that the United States should be their domicile, therefore allegiance to the United States. How do we know their intent? We have to go through all this due process stuff. And I thought to myself, what does that have to do with anything? When you were ruling on the tariff issue, you weren't concerned about how complicated it would be to return funds to individuals and how that would work, work out. Not one of them said a damn thing about it. Stay focused on the Constitution and the law and your damn job. What does the Constitution say about birthright citizenship? Not a damn thing. Zero. Zero. And they knew exactly what was meant by the jurisdiction thereof. Based on the earlier writings two years before the Civil Rights act of 1866. They knew exactly what they were talking about, and yet they pretend they don't. You want to know why? Because they're cowards. Other than Alito, who was clear, other than Thomas, who was clear, Gorsuch seemed wobbly. Kavanaugh seemed wobbly. I don't know where this is going to wind up, but I will tell you this. If they constitutionalize something that doesn't exist in the Constitution, that means Congress can't do anything other than pass an amendment to the Constitution. You see how the Congress is divided? That will never happen. Convention of states. We're a ways off from having a convention of states. Then what the Supreme Court will do is what no Congress has ever done. And what's that? Voted to make birthright citizenship the law. In fact, by the Supreme Court upholding it. If they do, if they should, then it is enshrined in the Constitution. There's absolutely no basis for that. None. Now, the consequences if they do that are monumental, catastrophic, inescapable. That means every child born in the United States of aliens or illegal aliens, with minor, minor exceptions that are irrelevant here, will be an American citizen. Now, you can imagine, especially in a Democrat administration, how they'll open the borders and how many people will come into the country and have children. Now, for the Communist Chinese, it'll be a heyday because they've already sent tens of thousands of pregnant women to Chinese citizens into the United States, giving birth to babies who become US Citizens, then leaving the United States with their babies, bringing them back to China, and then they'll become adults, then they'll send them back to the United States while the government there and they'll have all the rights of American citizens. They'll be able to work on Silicon Valley, they'll be able to work on top secret plans, they'll be able to work in the military, they'll be able to run for governmental positions, and who are they going to represent? And when presented with something akin to that, the Chief justice of the United States said, that's not what we're deciding on today. So I went through all this and more and the best news we could do is Donald Trump says Supreme Court should base decision on Fox News host. That's the best they could do. That's the best they could do. Mediaite Trump tells SCOTUS to study Mark Levin show on money making Birthright hoax. Like 14 different topics in the one run on sentence there for the title. And the rest were no different. The rest were no different. So rather than have any legitimate pushback, I'm not talking about sloganeering, lying and deceiving. I'm talking about tell me who said birthright citizenship is enshrined in the 14th Amendment. Tell me. Nobody tell me what they meant by the jurisdiction thereof. I told them. I told them what two of the authors, two of the authors of the amendment said there's no. No response. Zero. Zero. Then they point to an 1898 decision, the same Supreme Court that in 1896 issued the Plessy vs. Ferguson separate but equal as equal. That upheld segregation right up to Brown versus Board of Education in the 1950s. That court, that court ruled essentially that a father who was a naturalized citizen of the United States with a Chinese ancestry and a mother who was not, that their baby was a citizen. It was decided wrongly. That decision violated 40 years of practice. 40 years from 1868. From 1868 on 30 years of practice, I should say, to 1898. But it still didn't involve an illegal alien child. The Supreme Court's never ruled on that. So if this court constitutionalizes birthright citizenship for an illegal alien child will do something that no Congress has done, no prior Supreme Court has done that the framers of the amendment didn't promote that. The framers of the act that preceded the amendment didn't promote a term that is not in federal law, it's not codified anywhere. A term that's not found in the Constitution anywhere. They can't find a soul, they can't find a syllable that supports what they want to do. And the media treats it, treats it the way it does. And I hope the court did listen. I hope the court does listen. I hope the court does the right thing. I just don't think there's enough that had the guts to do it. Because what we're really talking about is politics and policy, not the Constitution and not the rule of law. That's what we're talking about. They will try and camouflage it, camouflage you with the Constitution. They'll tell you about English common law and this, that they'll go on and on and on. But I am telling you the truth, cutting away at all the statistics. If I've read the Constitution once, I've read it a thousand times. And I don't mean just read through it, speed reading, I mean studying it, going over it, looking at the background of the different clauses and who was involved in what. And that includes the amendments to the Constitution, especially the post Civil War amendments and the Bill of Rights before that. But that's the best the press can do. Mark the vin. As operation Epic Fury intensifies, the world braces for what's to come next. And people of faith pray for freedom and for God's people in the Holy Land to be protected. And in the Holy Land. Red alert sirens fill the air. Sirens that give you only 15 seconds to reach the nearest bomb shelter. The the situation is serious. The threat is real. And in times like this, freedom and faith aren't just abstract ideas. They are what we depend upon. Making your weekend even better. This is the best of Mark Levin.
Peace here in the New York slimes. And we know that you have to take this with a grain of salt, but it's out there. It's out there and it's a long piece about the lead up to the decision by the President to unleash the military operation against Iran. And the reporters are Jonathan Swan, who's a decent reporter, Maggie Haberman, who in my view is not. But nonetheless, in the midst of this long article, it says nobody in Mr. Trump's inner circle was more worried about the prospect of war with Iran or did more to try to stop it than the vice president. Mr. Vance had built his political career posing precisely. I'm reading from the article the kind of military adventurism that was now under serious consideration. It's not adventurism, I would say to the slimes. Let's see here. He had described a war with Iran as, quote, a huge distraction of resources, unquote, and quote, massively expensive, unquote. First, who's leaking all this stuff? I mean, they're actually quoting from meetings and he's not the only one they're quoting. Now, say what you will, a Vice president or a Secretary of defense or Secretary State or a CIA director. They need to be able to give advice to the President in absolute confidence. There's a constant leaking problem. Uh oh, trouble. Okay, breaking news. All right, from, from True Social. This is brand new and it is 6:35pm just shy of the 8pm witching hour. Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shabazz Sharif. That would be Pakistan and Field Marshal Aseem Munir of Pakistan and wherein they requested that I hold off the destruction the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republican of Iran agreeing to the complete immediate. He capitalizes in safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz. I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided cease fire. The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives and, and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long term peace With Iran and peace in the Middle east. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran. But a two week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America's President and also representing the countries of the Middle east, it is an honor to have this log this rather long term problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter. That's all I know. That's all we have right now. That's all I know. I don't know what the 10 points are. I don't have any of that. I don't think it's public yet. Is it, Mr. Producer? No. The Ten Point Plan? Yeah, not yet. So we don't have that yet. This was literally just released by the President in the White House. And so we'll see where that goes. Now the people negotiating on our side are the two envoys, Witkoff and Kushner, and apparently the Vice President. So we'll see how that goes. But let me go on with his article. Vice president thought a regime change war with Iran would be a disaster. His preference was for no strikes at all. But knowing that Mr. Trump was likely to intervene in some fashion, he tried to steer toward more limited action. Later, when it seemed certain the President was set on a large scale campaign, Mr. Vance argued that he should do so with overwhelming force in the hope of achieving his objective quickly. In front of his colleagues, Mr. Vance warned Mr. Trump that a war against Iran could cause regional chaos and untold numbers of casualties. It could also break apart Mr. Trump's political coalition and would be seen as a betrayal by many voters who bought into the promise of no new wars. Mr. Vance raised other concerns too. As Vice President, he was aware of the scope of America's munitions problem. A war against a regime with enormous will for survival could leave the United States in far worse position to fight conflicts for some years. He told associates that no amount of military insight could truly gauge what Iran would do in retaliation. When survival of the regime was at stake. It could go into unpredictable directions, he thought. There seemed to be little chance of building a peaceful Iran in the aftermath. And it goes on. Tucker Carlson, the commentator who had emerged as another prominent skeptic of intervention on the right. How can you call him of the right now if by right they mean conservative? That's been abandoned, that was abandoned a long time ago. He'd come to the Oval Office several times over the previous year to warn Mr. Trump that a war with Iran would destroy his presidency. A couple of weeks before the war began, Mr. Trump, who had known Carlson for years, tried to reassure him over the phone. I know you're worried about it, but it's going to be okay, the president said. Carlson asked how he knew. Because it always is, Mr. Trump replied. Well, then we know that was a two way conversation, right, Mr. Medusa? So we know one of the leakers is Tucker Carlson in the final days of February. And it goes on. It's a very long piece, but I thought that aspect of it might interest you. It also turns out that the general who was the most gung ho of the generals was not raising Cain, it was Admiral Cooper. Admiral Cooper apparently has in each aspect of this inform the President that our military could in fact achieve what it is achieving. So it seems like Admiral Cooper is more of a raising cane than raising cane, if I read between the lines here properly. But the most important voice was also the most committed voice to taking on Iran, the President of the United States, more so than the CIA director, more so than the Secretary of State. There's not much here about the secretary of Defense in this article. Again, if the article is accurate and who the hell knows? I sure as don't. I mean, who knows? But the president is the apparently the most conservative of the group, Mr. Producer. He's also the most security conscience, apparently. Again, there's nothing in here that I can see, nothing much anyway about Hagset, only a little about Rubio. And this is part of a book that they're writing, by the way, so they must be getting a crapload of leaks. And what happens is this. Almost everybody's leaking. I don't know who's not, I don't know who is. But almost all of them are leaking because they want to appear very well in the book. They want to appear to be, quote unquote, a good guy or a position themselves. And so they, they leak. I've seen this. It was in the Reagan administration, other administrations, because they all have interests beyond government, right? Vice president wants to be president, Secretary of state may want to be something else, I don't know. But the point is, if the book's going to be written by journalists with the New York Times, and that's going to be viewed by the rest of the media as definitive, even though it certainly won't be, the fact of the matter is the individuals try to position themselves. Again, I don't know who's leaked and who hasn't leaked. But most of the individuals try to position themselves and put themselves in a good light. Maybe somebody else in not such a good light, especially if they're seeking higher office one day. That's how you get articles like this, with all these leaks and so forth. Now, while we're on this topic, I will be on Hannity tonight, 9:00pm Eastern Time to discuss this, I assume, but maybe birthright citizenship. I don't know. But he asked me to come on and I will be there, of course. But then there's this story in the New York Post. Yasmin Ansari, Democrat of Arizona, the first Iranian American Democrat elected to Congress, raged against Donald Trump for his jaw dropping threats to Iran, including to end the country, quote, in one night, unquote, and called impeaching Hegset's a necessary step to prevent a catastrophe. So online you had the woke right neo fascist isolationist just trashing the president for his statement that he put out that he's going to destroy the civilization of Iran or something like that. You had little Adolf Fuentes, Tucker, Trader, Kitarlsson going nuts. Piers Morgan was very upset. They were all very, very upset when all the rest of us knew, millions and millions of us knew this is how the president operates to try and bring maximum pressure against an enemy like Iran. And so I put out a thing out there online to Morgan and I said, okay, how much you want to bet he doesn't destroy the Iranian civilization? Because it's absurd. We know what he was doing. He is using psychological warfare and he does this sort of thing fairly frequently. So the idea that people miss it is is really ridiculous. And so the Democrats are saying what he said would be a war crime so we need to impeach him. What he said shows that he's mentally unhinged. So we need to see the 25th Amendment triggered. And they don't even understand how that works. But this was going on all day and all last night. All day and all last night. She says now this is an Iranian American Democrat. And by the way, she does not speak for most Iranian Americans, I assure you. I'm introducing articles of impeachment against Pete Hegseth. Pete Hegseth for repeatedly violating his oath of office and his duty to the Constitution. Only Congress has the power to declare war, not a rogue president or his lackeys. Hegseth's reckless, endangered. Okay, so factually, Hegseth hasn't made any decisions. The president makes the decisions. That's number one. And the Secretary of war carries them out. That's number two. And number three, this whole idea of declaration of war has been explained by me repeatedly, and I'm not going to explain it again. But she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. What's happening here, America, is they're trying to use impeachment and the 25th Amendment. Not because the president has committed a high crime or misdemeanor, not because Hagseth has committed a high crime or misdemeanor. They want to use the 25th Amendment. They, again, they don't even know how that works. Not because the president is senile and can't function. He's not Biden, but because they disagree with him on this military operation in Iran. That's not what impeachment is for. That's not. That's not what the 25th Amendment is for. The 25th Amendment is for whether a president can actually complete his responsibilities and undertake his responsibilities, which this president can. They just disagree with him. And impeachment is for a high crime and misdemeanor, which has a very specific meaning and understanding. This is not that, She says only Congress has the power to declare war, not a rogue president or his lackeys. Now, here we are in the middle of a war. This is how the Democrats conduct themselves, giving aid and comfort to the enemy. This is how traitor Tucker conducts himself. This is how all the other little, little Putians conduct themselves. In the middle of a war. Yes, in the middle of a war. Her singling out Hegseth comes weeks after Trump revealed last month that his secretary of war was the first to call for war against Iran. Hagseth's team brushed off the impeachment push, with Pentagon press secretary Kingsley Wilson telling the Post, it's just another Democrat trying to make headlines, which is true. Hagseth has done a fantastic job. He's in charge of the nuts and bolts. He's in charge of overseeing much of this nuts and bolts. And of course, they want to impeach him. Mark Levin. With Donald Trump back in office, one of his biggest adversaries, top Democrat Dick Durbin of Chicago, is leading the charge to derail President Trump's agenda at every return. And now Durbin has a new scheme, a government takeover of your credit card. Right now, Americans have thousands of credit card options, all with equal strong security. But Senator Durbin's plan could result in less security. That means more risk for your credit, your identity, and your financial future. Durbin's bill isn't about helping consumers. It's a giveaway to corporate megastores, which could shift costs onto you while putting your rewards and fraud protections in jeopardy. We've seen Durbin's fail policies before his last big banking regulation backfired, leading to higher costs and fewer benefits for American families. Tell Republican senators, stop Durbin's government takeover of your credit card before it's too late. You're listening to the best of Mark Levin.
Schumer and the Democrats are undermining, undermining our war effort. They're doing it for their own power, their own aggrandizement. They're exploiting even issues that ought not be exploited for their own power. Chuck Schumer is one of the worst senators ever. People do and say anything to hold on to a Senate seat and to become majority leader, as I posted on our social sites, even if that means undermining our military in the middle of a war. He said years ago that Iran was a nuclear threat, and he voted against the Obama deal for all the reasons President Trump left the Obama deal in his first term. Yet Schumer acts like the president's decision to order military action against Iran, despite tireless efforts to negotiate with that regime to abandon its nuclear program and surrender its enriched uranium, which was fruitless. And indeed the regime's negotiators bragged that they would have 11 nuclear bombs in 10 days was some kind of a rash and irresponsible action. Schumer and the other fools in his party loved to come up with slogans and phrases that grabbed the headlines of their lapdog media, like military morons Schumer used today. But the fact is that what has been accomplished thus far is nothing short of spectacular. It is crucial that the manner in which this is ended is equally successful, and it is worth debating. Stay the course is what I say. But that said, no matter how it ends, Schumer and his comrades will denounce it and the president, for their goal is not the defeat of Iran and the removal of a nuclear threat, but the defeat of the president if they can, his removal. In fact, they have no popular substantive agenda and an extreme base to tend to, and that is all that matters. But Schumer and his party, their media and their surrogates are focused on one thing and one thing only, power. And they will do anything for power and don't give a damn how they get it. All this talk about impeachment and the 25th amendment is intended to reverse the last presidential election and retroactively disenfranchise the voters. They did all they could to stop a second Trump term, including the horrendous abuse of our legal system, both civilly and criminally, unleashing an FBI SWAT team to search the President's home, twisting the language of the 14th Amendment to try and keep him off the ballot, and a lot more, and a lot more they have no intention of stopping. Even now, clearly, the President has committed no impeachable offenses and the 25th amendment has absolutely no application to their effort to undermine the war. The military operation is not unconstitutional, it's not unlawful. There have been no war crimes. And the Democrats cannot even get their agit props straight in the course of 24 hours. They claim the President is poised to commit genocide against the Iranian people who he is hoping to liberate. And now they claim he's chicken because he agreed to a two week ceasefire. Agree or not, with this latter decision, Schumer and the Democrats are wildly out of control with their behavior and their propaganda. In fact, they are undermining our troops and giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and they don't give a damn. Such is the influence of the Marxist Islamist forces within their party. Again, the Democrats see everything through the lens of power. This is how they govern. This is how they campaign. This is how they operate at all times. Everything else, even the best interests of the country, are secondary. Their purpose in all of this is to win the midterm elections and destroy the Trump presidency, denuking Iran and protecting the American people be damned. I just posted this as well because I believe it's important. The President has a lot going against him right now. And I want to discuss the latest events with Iran in a moment, but it is illustrative. Over at a site called Mediaite, founded by Dan Abrams. And there's an individual who works there, Colby hall, who has a very unimpressive background, but it doesn't matter. And I'm writing something that I will soon post when I complete it, but I want to share it with you exclusively, my radio audience. He's very upset, you see, because I was on Hannity last night and I was praising the President, United States, for the actions he's taken, for having the courage to take on the Iranian regime. No president has done it before, none will do it after, I fear, because of the real, the real live threat of nuclear weapons that every president has talked about, everyone that Schumer talked about, that psaki talk about that. Chris Murphy talked about that they all talked about. And that's what they did. They talked about it. Or worse, they tried to buy off the Iranians with billions and billions of dollars. They bent over backwards to appease Iran. I have questions about what is going on now, but not in a way that attacks the President or undermines the President. Just questions that any American might have. But Kobe hall viewed that as a hostage video when I was on Hannity. The dripping hate Kobe hall, editor in chief at Mediaite, has for Donald Trump, like most of his staff, there knows no bounds. It is obsessive, relentless and unhinged. The headlines are typically sensational. The entire website is built around a leftist anti Trump in the last decade or so, anti Fox agenda and more. Yet it pretends to be a media site with a professional journalistic core. In other words, the entire enterprise is fraudulent. It's not worth doing a study of the site or of Hall's editorial opinions in particular. But they are predictable, with a couple of exceptions intended to claim some kind of independence, balance and objectivity. The site is consumed with Internet squabbles, always stirring the pot because the business model requires lots and lots of page views. And hall, he's the conductor. I've had my run ins with this guy. I invited him on this show to discuss Mediaite and its mission a year or two ago. He passed. That's fine, but he's a thoroughly unethical individual and he uses the sight to get even with individuals he dislikes or disagrees with. He's not motivated by any kind of journalistic purpose, though he likes the lectures self servingly that he is, and points his finger at others condescendingly complaining about their lack of standards, objectivity, truth telling. Well, he should be looking in the mirror. The site was founded by Dan Abrams, a person of many public personalities, plays the role of a straight legal and news analyst on network tv, but shows his true nature as a Jerry Springer type of legal and crime shows on cable tv. Now as for this guy's latest screed, Colby Yes, I'm a huge fan of President Trump and I don't hide it and I don't hide it, nor do I pretend otherwise. I believe what he has done with Iran is historic, humane and crucial. Historic, humane and crucial. He does not. But I raised some points about the current phase respecting discussions with Iran, which I mentioned as well. I've done the same in the past on other matters. Therefore, I praise the President and I raise my questions for Hall. This is Akin to a hostage video. It's illegitimate or whatever. It's because he has no professionalism. He pretends to be objective. His lens is that of a leftist. And his business. His business is how many eyes can he get on his website. Utterly disgraceful. Mark the Vin

The great one make sure we weekend even better. This is the best of Mark Levin.
Well, we have a lot of requests coming in here from the media, don't we, Mr. Producer? Should I read this one out loud? This is from the Wall Street Journal. This is the Second 1. To Mr. Producer Rich my colleague Josh Dawsey and I are working on a piece about how President Trump approached the last six weeks of war with Iran. We're trying to understand the key moments, who he was listening to at various points, the arguments that tended to work with him, and any insight on the arguments that didn't work. My sense is that Marcus played an important role in hoping that he can share some insights into this time period. We'd be happy to talk to him on background where we wouldn't use his name if that would make him more comfortable. Let me know. I'm just reading this cold. Let me know if you think he'd be open to that. Annie Lynskey I'm never open to anonymous interviews. I'm rarely open to any interviews now. Why is that, America? Because I'm on the radio, I'm on tv. I give everybody my views. If senators, congressmen, the president want to know my view. All they have to do is listen to me or watch me. There's nothing secret about this. Nothing. I'm supported for my views, I'm attacked for my views, period. Now, the funniest thing is there's really at least two different worlds in this country. Stick with me. There's our world, which is a normal world. You know, you work hard, you raise a family, you watch some tv, some cable, some network tv. Maybe you listen to the radio, maybe you listen to a podcast that you like, a particular podcast. A lot of people like our podcast, our radio podcast, as well as our new Liberty Voice podcast. You know, kind of normal. Then there are people who spend, believe it or not, all day on the Internet, all day on X, all day. Now I pop in and out and pop in and out, and I. We post very quickly and that sort of thing. And maybe I'll go back and see who says what, maybe I won't. But it's a cesspool now. There's some really wonderful people there, don't get me wrong. But it's like whatever enters somebody's head, they type and they put it on the Internet. Mr. Producer, no matter how foul and crass, no matter how false and dishonored, it doesn't matter. Now, in your own life, you don't conduct yourself that way. I don't. Do you? No. So it's two different worlds. And we did a study of this, and maybe the affiliates will be interested in this, too. That is how many people who listen to talk radio. My show. My show. Are also listening to podcasters. Do you know what the overlap is? 7%. 7%. So what goes on on the Internet isn't going on in the real world. Now, you might say, but the Internet is the real world. It's actually not. The Internet skews much younger. Even though you have a bunch of people going through the midlife crises on. They're trying to be cool and young and all, so they drop the F bombs, but that's another story. Now, you might go on the Internet from time to time, right, to do some research, to read some news that sort of. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about they go on these sites and they never get off. And they put common after comment after comment after. I'm talking about hundreds and hundreds a day. And by the way, this is why too many young people go into what they call these dark rooms or these dark. Dark boardrooms or dark closets, whatever you want to call them and they reinforce some of the worst aspects to humanity and then they go out and do some violence. Obviously, not most, but some of these cases, some of these high profile cases, this is what we've seen. This is what we've seen. By the way, Mr. Producer, write her back politely and just say, mark appreciates the offer, but he declines. We want to be respectful. She didn't actually do anything wrong, the reporter, she's doing her job. But I don't participate in that stuff. Everybody else does, but I don't. And I get this all the time. Just so you know, America all the time now, for some people like Tucker and so forth, it's irresistible. The lore is irresistible to go on or off the record, particularly off the record. Like yesterday, there was in the New York Times a telephone discussion between the president, Tucker Carlson, remember that one, Rich? Well, how did that leak to the media? Well, it wasn't the president just saying there's a lot of leaks attacking me. Levin told the president this. Levin told. Well, first of all, 99% of the time I did not. But it's all about positioning. The media is not just about news for the. And I'm not talking about the reporters. I've talked enough about them today. I'm talking about people who use the media to get even or they use the media to promote themselves, or they use the media to advance a cause or something like that. And so they'll go off the record and they'll be treated better by the reporters because they're a source. I have never done that. I worked in the Reagan administration eight years. I worked as chief of staff to the attorney general. I didn't leak, Period. Period. I know that's a rarity, apparently, but it is what it is. That's how I was raised. That's right. Don't leak. I was taught as a young kid don't leak. But seriously, that's the truth. Here's my advice to you, and I mean this quite seriously. I'm not telling you to boycott anybody. I'm not interested in creating any campaigns of that sort. But for your own mental health, stop listening to Tucker. If you do to Bannon, if you do, to Rogan, if you do, to Kelly, if you do to all these people, listen to people who are normal. Listen to people who have some class. Listen to people who reinforce your belief systems. I don't mean for indoctrination purposes or for purposes of not learning other viewpoints. And so I'm talking about people who you can respect. You know, What Rush used to say, the reason he had such a significant audience was because he simply reinforces people's values and beliefs. Now, remember what they tried to do to him. They tried to destroy him. On one occasion in particular, they almost succeeded. And of course, he and I were best friends, and I missed the hell out of him. And I know he would be agreeing with what I'm doing. He would do it differently, but he would do it. He would take these people on, too. He was no fan of Tucker Carlson, period. He was no fan of Megyn Kelly, period. But that doesn't matter. He did his show his way, I do it my way, Sean does it his way, and so forth and so on. But there needs to be some level of civility. That doesn't mean you don't have passion and emotion and you're not, and you have different moods and so forth. All humans, we all do that. But I'm not going to get behind this microphone and lie to you and twist you and play psyops with you. And that's what goes on on the Internet. A lot of it. That's what goes on in the podcasting world for a lot of people. Not all, but a lot. I go to these different diners from time to time. I've told you about that. And I go to one diner in particular, and the people who. Who work there are young people. They're all young. And there's a husband and wife who own it. They're just lovely people. I'm not going to tell you where, and so forth. So because of security reasons, unfortunately, I have to deal with that stuff. So I pulled a few aside today. I said, what do you think about X? Do you go on X much? And you know what they told me? Two of them, it's very vicious on there. Very vicious, very depressing. Both of them said this. So they will go there, but they don't spend a lot of time there, and they don't read the comments. And they're right. My daughter told me the same thing. My son told me the same thing. The same thing. And they're right. So these other formats, whether it's TV or talk radio and so forth, or if you want to run a podcast or a video podcast in a sane way, that's not the way it's done with a lot of these people who draw a lot of attention to themselves. Ask yourself, how does a comic. How does a guy who's a UFC color commentator, a guy that used to have. What was that show called? I remember that he did Mr. Producer Fear Factor, which I kind of like. How does he turn into the biggest podcaster? And so you're jealous. I'm not jealous in the least. I'm doing great. I enjoy what I do. How's that possible? It's not brain power, it's antics. It's the type of guest you bring. It's provocation, it's intrigue, it's that kind of thing. Drama. Or people who've been fired from jobs and have had other jobs, who've been liberal. Then they're conservative, anti Trump, pro Trump, moderate right wing, then left wing. And how's that work? They're trying to get ahead of the curve. They're not actually contributing anything to the audience. They're using the audience, they're manipulating the audience. Even the people who may not like me or hate me, they'll tell you one thing that's true. Consistency of principle. They may not like what I say or the way I say it, but it's consistency of principle. You either have a certain faith and belief system, a certain value system, certain principles, or you don't. Now, you may adjust them over time, not for, you know, publicity purposes, but you live a life, you think about certain things, and maybe you adjust it here and there. You've read a part of the Bible and you think, okay, maybe I'm not in the right direction. I need to go. That's different. That's learning, that's knowledge, that's experience. That's good. But I'm not talking about them. Talking about manipulation, conniving, that sort of thing. There's far more of that on the Internet and with podcasters. Not all. I want to keep saying there's some great exceptions than there is in radio or tv. It's just the case. It's just the case. I'm talking about this for two reasons. Number one, it's important because the whole media world is in a state of flux. And with that, people who you thought you agreed with, believed in, who shared your vows, and then you find out they don't. I want you to understand what they're doing. They're grifting, they're manipulating in many ways, they're panicking and they're desperate. And then for mental health purposes, for the audience, for you, psychologically. Don't let them dispirit you. Don't let them disunite us. We are a great people. If you listen to these people, they keep tearing us down. We are a great people. Mark Levin.
We're giving you nothing but the Best, the Best of Mark Levin.
I spent a lot of time going through, through the news, going through various research that I do, historical, philosophical and so forth in preparation for you, because I want to do a good job. I want to make your time here worthwhile. Time is valuable. That's all we've got until we don't. And I was Invited by Martha McCowan, who I think is one of the best, absolutely one of the best. And I appeared on her program this afternoon. And we'll get into that in a moment. And we have some great guests this weekend, Saturday and Sunday on Life, Liberty and Levin. We have General Keane, we have John Fetterman, we have the gentleman we had on radio the other day talking about war crimes. And we have Elise Stefanik. So it's going to be fantastic. Please set your DVRs, 8pm Eastern Time, Saturday and Sunday on Fox. And we're here. My favorite place, radio. It's my favorite place. It just is. I've been doing it a long time now and I've always been a fan of it. And I can't be more thrilled that you're here and there's millions and millions of you and you folks are wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Now, I've decided to start with something. I've debated it honestly that the president put out, what, an hour ago, Rich? Something like that. It's quite important and it's something I've been talking about with you. And down the line, our affiliates have all heard it, about the nature of the conservative movement, the nature of maga, what's happening to our country. And we're facing the Islamists, we're facing the Marxists, we're facing a very corrupt media. We're facing an academia which is propagandistic and radical left. And we're facing these woke right neo fascists. And you know, we have a responsibility to address that, too. And I understand for a lot of people in this business or podcasters or TV or whatever, it's difficult. It's complicated. On the one hand, they don't want to turn people off. On the other hand, they're not sure what to do. I have a rule of thumb, do what's right, stick to your principles and in the end it'll work out. And if it doesn't, it wasn't meant to be. It's okay whether it's radio, tv, whether it's video podcasting, whether it's writing books or just your personal life. Just do what's right, what you know is right. Embrace your principles and do it consistently. The president put out a social media post, I guess a week or so ago defending me. I had absolutely nothing to do with it. He came out of left field and obviously somebody's monitoring social media. Wouldn't you say, Mr. Producer? It's not him. He doesn't have time to do it. Somebody is. And it was really remarkable. It was very humbling to say the least. But not many of these same people are attacking him. They're attacking his presidency. They're attacking the Republican Party, the conservative movement, they're attacking maga. Some of them are talking about voting Democrats. Some of them are talking about getting rid of Trump, the 25th Amendment. And these people are really grifters. They really are. They really are. Trump hasn't changed. There's nothing wrong with him mentally. He doesn't deserve to be removed from office. Every step he takes is intended to promote the country, defend the country, enhance the country. He is a multi billionaire that did not need this job and he has put up with a hell of a lot, hell of a lot more than a lot of us. They came after him criminally, they came after him civilly. They tried to push him off the ballots. Some people tried to assassinate him. They didn't need any of this. He's not in it for the money. People who have very little and then they get elected and then they become worth tens of millions of dollars. Omar Marjorie traitor. Gangrene Pelosi. They had wealth, but now they have enormous wealth. Apparently this guy Ro Khanna, if I get to that story, he's become incredibly more wealthy as a result. There's something seedy about that. It's like the Obamas have become super wealthy since they've left office. Al Gore, one of the dumbest people ever to serve in Washington, he's become super wealthy. Trump came to Washington with wealth. And you have a lot of these people who now have these sites have gotten very rich claiming to be conservative, claiming to be maga, claiming to support the president. And yet they're getting rich attacking him, undermining him under the foulest, foulest kind of commentary. And I don't know, but I guess the president has been had this information shared with him over time. It would make sense. He's got to know what's going on on different platforms. But the vitriol against him from this woke right neo fascist wing has been horrendous. Horrendous. And I'm just going to read to you what he said without comment. I'm going to read to you what he said without comment. It's out there. Many of you are in your cars or your trucks and you're not aware of this. Many of you stay off the Internet and you're probably mentally healthy as a result of it. But here's what he wrote an hour ago. I know why and I Nothing to do with it. 0 I know why. Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years. Especially by the fact that they think it's wonderful for Iran, the number one state sponsor of terror, to have a nuclear weapon because they have one thing in common. Low IQs. They're stupid people. They know it, their families know it, everyone else knows it. Look at their past. Look at their record. They don't have what it takes and they never did. They've all been thrown off television, lost their shows and aren't even invited on TV because nobody cares about them. They're nutjobs, troublemakers and will say anything necessary for some free and cheap publicity. Now they think they get some clicks because they have third rate podcasts, but nobody's talking about them and their views are the opposite of MAGA or I wouldn't have won the presidential election in a landslide. MAGA agrees with me and just gave CNN 100% approval rating of Trump, not hand flailing fools like Tucker Carlson who couldn't even finish college. He was a broken man when he got fired by Fox and he's never been the same. He's never been the same. Perhaps he should see a good psychiatrist or Megyn Kelly, he said, who nastily asked me the now famous only Rosie o' Donnell questioner, crazy Candace Owens, who accuses the highly respected first lady of France of being a man when she's not and will hopefully win lots of money in the ongoing lawsuit. Actually, to me the first lady of France is far more beautiful woman than Candace. In fact, it's not even close. Or bankrupt Alec Jones, who says some of the dumbest things and lost his entire fortune as he should have for his horrendous attack on the families of Sandy Hook shooting victims, ridiculously claiming it was a hoax. These so called pundits are losers and they always will be. Now fake news cnn, the failing New York Times and all the other radical left news organizations are hailing them and giving them positive press for the first time in their lives. They're not maga, writes the President. They're losers just trying to latch on to MAGA as President. I can get them on my sign anytime I want to, but when they call, I don't return their calls because I'm too busy on world and country affairs. And after a few times they go nasty, just like Marjorie Trader Brown. But I no longer care about that stuff. I only care about doing right for the country. MAGA is about winning and strength and not allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons. MAGA is about making America great again. And these people have no idea how to do that. But I do, because the United States is now the hottest country anywhere in the world. President Donald J. Trump I do miss the thank you for your attention to this matter. I'm not going to comment on this. I think it says everything that needs to be said. And obviously when the president says something like this sort, it's important, and I've been saying this now for weeks, if not months, because it's important, because it has an impact on the dispiriting of the country, of the disuniting of the country, and particularly our movements. You have people here who are rooting against the Republican Party, who are rooting for the failure of the president, who are giving aid and comfort to the left wing in this country. They sound like the left wing in this country and there's really no explanation for this other than they're not, well, they're on the take or this is how they grift. But it's not healthy, it's not a good thing, and it's harmful to our country and it could undermine us in the midterm elections. The president won't cost us the midterm elections. Israel won't cost us the midterm elections. I won't cost us the midterm elections. People who keep attacking our agenda, attacking the president, attacking our allies, real allies, people who are out there with conspiracy theories, pushing racism, anti Christianity, anti Semitism, anti Americanism, embracing Hitler and Stalin and on and on. These are the people who will cost us the election. Not because they have a big following, because they have enough of a following that in a close election it can hurt us, or that it's a distraction to members of the Senate and the House and in the White House that if we were united in purpose and united in our focus, we certainly would have a much, much better shot.
