What if I told you O3 can create a world class course that would likely cost you thousands of dollars with a single prompt. Now, if you are a marketer, you are learning AI, you are probably out there trying to buy a lot of different courses. I would say a lot of them are not very good. What we are going to do is show you how to create your own bespoke course, highly actionable, taught by the best minds in the world, because O3 can mimic them. All of that with one prompt. And we're going to give you the prompt in the comments. You can actually use it for your own needs. But do watch the full episode because I'm going to show you exactly how to use it, why it's so good, and how you can craft it and customize to the way that you want to learn. And if you are a marketer watching this show and you actually follow these steps, you're going to learn AI much quicker and be much more advanced than anyone else in your network. All of that on today's show of marketing. Against the grain.

Here's a quick word from our sponsor. Cutting your sales cycle in half sounds pretty impossible, but that's exactly what Sandler training did with HubSpot. They used Breeze, HubSpot's AI tools to tailor every customer interaction without losing their personal touch. And the results were pretty incredible. Click through rates jumped 25%, qualified leads quadrupled, and people spent three times longer on their landing pages. Go to HubSpot.com to see how Breeze can help you grow your business.

All right, so this is all from a single prompt. And I have spent some time really trying to craft this prompt. It took me a bunch of iteration actually to get this right. And the reason it took me a bunch of iteration is because AI also wanted to give me a bunch of theory. And I only want action. And I want action. That is not the type of best practice stuff you'd see regurgitated. Like really things that I would not have thought about. And O3 is actually really good at that. So I'm going to run this prompt for you, but first I'm going to go through it. And so the prompt is basically, you are a hybrid of a Stanford GSP professor, an MIT AI researcher and a Fortune 500 CMO. You can change this based upon what your style of learning is. And that is one of the strengths of O3 is it's incredibly great at mimicking styles. And so we talk about who we want it to be inspired by. The task is really to design A fully self contained four week executive course titled the MBA for AI Marketing Leading in the Era of Intelligent Growth. So I give it an actual course I wanted it to create. I said the audience is for CMOs and VP level marketers leading their organization's AI transformation. Then here are the must haves. And again, this was a ton of iteration to get it into this place, but the result is pretty phenomenal. Each weekday you have a hands on lesson that is accompanying that theme. So I get a theme about what is the theme to learn about AI this week and every day there's a new actionable lesson related to that theme. Each lesson has to be completed under 45 minutes. Because we are time starved executives, we need to be able to just go do this stuff. You use AI to complete a real marketing task. You include the following. You want the lesson with the title and objective. You want the core insight, you want the actionable steps, you want the prompts to run. I'm going to show you how good this is, the actual tools and the deliverable format. Honestly, this is a very valuable course. And then this is a strategic question for executive introspection which is basically like I've learned this thing and I'm going to ask a kind of question of myself of how do I plan to use this? So each week concludes with this kind of capstone task. Apply all five lessons to produce a real marketing output in 20 minutes. So it basically consolidates the week with okay, you've learned all these things, now actually go and apply them within your marketing, do some real stuff and then five to seven actionable strategies to operationalize that week's insights in the marketing org. So it actually tells you, here's how you can actually implement that in the marketing org. Important notes. Typical prompts are you have the goal, you have the return format which we talked about. Then you have these warnings which is like, what are the things I don't want you to do? Well, we don't want theory or lectures. We want no AI summaries. We only want real marketing work made faster, smarter and better. With AI, we want to assume a highly sophisticated audience, right? This is not for beginners with zero time for fluff. Again, I iterated a lot to come up with this because it was giving me a bunch of love. The course must be returned in full all four weeks without exceeding any text limits. So why have I got text limits? O3 has text limits. So it was building the course and it was summarizing some of the text because of its own limits in Terms of what it can output when in a single answer Be concise yet complete Use shorter insights Tighten action steps and apply bullet form and warehelp. The constraint here is so I can get the entire thing returned in one prompt. Okay, let me show you how good this is. Okay, so here is the actual result. So here's the course, right? I'm gonna look at week two AI accelerated creative and content velocity and the reason I work week two because I thought this was really good strategic aim for this week. Compress the idea to asset cycle from weeks to hours while protecting brand equity. Then it gives me a bunch of interesting sprints to run this generative ideation Sprint Objective Generate 50 on brand campaign ideas in less than 30 minutes. The insight it gives me the core insight on why this is a great use case for AI and if you read through this insight, obviously it would not be a very engaging episode if I just verbatim run through this insight. But it has some like really great things in here. Great campaigns start with a flood of possible ideas, not a single flash of genius. Gen AI systems like GPT 4, Cloud 3 Gemini are stoistic explorers able to traverse creative white space at superhuman breath and speed. Blah blah blah blah. Goes through like why the AI is a great partner here and so talks about the thing we're going to do. Then the action steps right? Define guardrails, audience value prop tone in a Google Sheet Open ChatGPT4 Turbo if you can with code interpreter run the prompt below gives you the exact prompt to run GPT saves the output directly back into the same sheet via API key that is really interesting right? I actually was looking for bidirectional sync so I'm going to try this myself because I didn't know that you could actually rewrite back into the sheets. Apply conditional formatting to highest fit ideas so basically these steps allow you to define your audience. Use ChatGPT with code interpreter and this prompt to basically go through a bunch of different ideas and then write them back into that Google sheet for that audience. Talks about the tools used talks about the deliverable format and the reflection prompt. Here is which of the AI generated concepts would you greenlight if your brand identity were removed and why? We'll look at one more to show you how kind of cool this is. Real time performance driven content optimization Iteratively improve creative based on live engagement signals every 24 hours. Oh wow. This is pretty cool. Launching is half the gain. Learning steals the pot. I have a whole picture on this actually. Modern ad platforms expose granular engagement metrics, scroll depth, hover time, thumbstop rate within hours. Feeding the data bank into generative models closes the creative loop at machine speed. This is really good. A B tests become ABN autoregressive experiments. You see how advanced this is by the way? The system promotes win invariants, mutates, elements, headlines, verbs, color temp and redeploys much like evolutionary algorithms. So it talks through exactly what to do here. CMOS must add exploration budgets 10% of impressions to keep discovering new gen combinations. Very, very cool. Okay, so how do we do this? It's trying to change creative and very small incremental time based upon intent signals action steps in GA4 meta ads export the last 24 hours of creative metrics via the API join with creative gen table and talks about how you do that. Train lightweight XP boost model predicting CTR uplift auto generate 5 variants with top 3 gene. Right? So this is pretty technical. And then it gives you the actual prompt to be able to run here and all of the tools and the deliverable format. If you remember, what I wanted to do was have a very actionable course designed for senior marketers who are trying to transform their teams. And so it is quite technical. But I like that you can craft a prompt to however you want to craft it or whatever you want to learn around AI if you are a marketer. And so here's the capstone, right? This is the end of week task. Produce a fully localized performance optimized cross channel campaign package for one Monday concept. So run Tuesday to Thursday pipelines end to end deploy Friday optimization loop once with yesterday's data and then basically what saying is like puts all those five actionable lessons together and then tells you exactly what to do to bring that to life. And then here's a CMO playbook and how you operationalize that week. You have a model jam rituals. This is actually really good. You schedule a 45 minute generative ideation sprint every Monday am. That's actually really good. I'm going to actually take that one. You have brand alignment API, you have this creative genome taxonomy. You have exploration budget to make sure you can do this stuff it talked about in paid test localization SLA set 24 hour turnaround for new market assets request via dynamic resizing pipeline vendor governance talents reskilling whole adoption framework on how you actually implement that week's actions. This is a full course generated with a single prompt. And this is just week two. And so coming back to the prompt, you can really craft that prompt in any way you want. And you can change some of these depending upon like what your style is. I'll give you one last one that I think is really good. One of the things I want to do is just have a prompt that creates a lesson and sends me that lesson each and every day. And so I use the task model and a different variation of that prompt. So I have give me a lesson again, something that a CMO or a VP level marketer can do. I don't want any writing down information about AI. No lectures, no summarizing, no learning about AI. Each day's lesson should you use AI to complete a real marketing task, you can see very, very similar, has a similar type of output, but is done each and every day. So it comes through in the task model, so it comes through here. So each day I've set up a weekly task to send me that week's lessons. Every week I get an email to say your new lessons are out and then I can come jump back in here and it's given me a new lesson of all of the actions I can take that week to apply AI to my rule. And again, in that way you are getting something that you can actually just work with O3 to start to really integrate AI across all of the marketing that you do. So this is very similar. The real difference here is it is based upon frequency where the other one is just giving you a four week course. Four week course. You obviously have to remember to go in and do it each and every day. You can probably upload it somewhere else and keep track of it, or you can set up email alerts to email you each day of the new lesson if you use a different tool or you can just use OpenAI's tasks to run each and every week. And so that's how you can use O3 to really up level your marketing with a single prompt. And that prompt will give you a pretty incredible course. And so if you're watching this and you're like, I have some variations or variants of what I want to learn or how I want to learn, or I believe that I would be better if this was like, you are a CMO for an SMB, you're a CMO for PLG company, you're a CMO for a B2C company. You prefer to learn from different folks, not these folks. You want an eight week course, you want a two week course, you want to change the audience, you want to have a little bit change in terms of how you want to learn, you want to change the structure a little bit. You can do all of that. The point here is that O3 can create you world class courses with a single prompt that are crafted for your needs. And it really does make me think at some point you are going to have AI plus avatar teaching you things based upon what you want to learn and there may be not much need for you to go and actually purchase other courses other than get an access to a community. And so that is the O3 prompt that can create you a world class course in a very short amount of time. And if you are a marketer and you want to uplevel your AI really quickly, this is one of the best things you can do is go take the prompt we've given you, craft it for your needs and start to use O3 as your coach. Hope you enjoyed this episode. Got value? I'll talk to you next time on Marketing against the Grain.
