If there's one thing this season reinforced for me, it's this. Life doesn't stop because you own a business. Your business has to be built in a way that can withstand real life not perfectly, not without hard decisions, but simply enough that you know exactly where your energy belongs. When life demands more of you, are you growing a business or creating the Most sought after MedSpa in your market? Welcome to the MedSpa CEO podcast, where growth means better results, bigger profits, and a schedule that actually gives you your life back. I'm Heather, strategist to the industry's most profitable esthetic practices. From solo injectors to multi seven figure teams, I'm here to help visionary leaders like you package your brilliance, scale with clarity and build a business that feels as beautiful to run as the results you give your clients. It's time to set the standard, not blend into the industry noise. If you're ready to lead, to be seen, and to grow a category of one brand, you're in the right place. Hello my beautiful, beautiful friends. Welcome back to another episode of the podcast. It has been a bit and I am absolutely thrilled to be back in your AirPods or in your car, or wherever it is that you usually tune into this episode. Believe it or not, I'm actually recording this sitting in my car in Anaheim, California. I'm parked outside a hitting facility because we're in Orange county this week for PGF Nationals, where two of my three daughters are competing. It's been a fun, exhausting, exciting week of softball and honestly, it feels like the perfect place to record this episode because it's exactly what this season of life has looked like, doing business in the middle of real life. Which is how it is for so many of you as well. And before we jump back into our regular programming, I wanted to take a few minutes just to reconnect with you. It's been several months since we've released a new episode. This year has been incredibly full. One of my daughters has needed a tremendous amount of me as her mom, and I'm not ready to share that story quite yet because it's her story and I will some day. It's been one of the hardest seasons of my life, quite honestly, while also giving me more perspective than I could have imagined. And more than anything, it's reminded me that while I absolutely love helping practice owners and med spa owners and clinics build incredible businesses, people come first, family comes first. And for this reason, that's exactly where I needed to be. I made a decision earlier this year that I needed to create more margin to be there for my family. And there were a couple things I know to be true about what I needed to focus on in my business. So to everyone who's continued listening, reaching out, sending encouraging messages, or simply waiting patiently for my return, I just want to say thank you. It means more than you know. And I'm back. And honestly, I think I have even more to share with you now than I ever did before. One thing this season forced me to do was simplify. If you've listened to this podcast for any amount of time, you've heard me say simplicity, scales, complexity fails. And this year, I didn't just teach it, I actually lived it. When life throws you a curveball, whether it's something with your kids, a health issue, a loss, a divorce, or anything that suddenly demands your time and emotional energy, you don't always have the luxury of doing everything. You have to know exactly what matters most. So for me, there were only a handful of things that were non negotiable. I protected my email list, I protected my paid traffic and funnels, and I made sure our clients never experienced a drop in the quality of what we delivered. In fact, I don't even think my clients probably knew that anything behind the scenes was going on. Because when you have hired me to be there for you, I am 100% all in on being there for you. Everything else became optional. The podcast paused, social media slowed down for a while, and there were some projects that got delayed. But the things that generated revenue and the things that served our clients kept moving. One thing I was really proud of was that even while we weren't recording new episodes, I continued to leverage the library of nearly 300 episodes we'd already created. We repurposed past episodes, shared YouTube content through email, and kept serving our audience with assets we had already built. And that's just another reminder that creating evergreen content is an investment that continues paying you back long after you've hit publish. So if ever life throws you a curveball, which, let's be real here, it's not if life is going to throw you a curveball, it's when life throws you a curveball, don't ask yourself, how do I keep doing everything? Asking what? Absolutely cannot. Stop, delete, delay, delegate, simplify. You have to know which activities actually impact your revenue and your client experience. If you don't know those answers, that's probably the first thing you need to solve. Because when life gets hard isn't the time you want to be figuring it out. The other Thing that made a huge difference this year was AI. Not because AI replaces strategy, not because AI replaces leadership, not because AI actually replaces the humans that work for you. In some cases it might, but for us, we actually hired during this time, but because it actually can help with some of the mental load and some of the administrative and busy tasks that you and your team have been carrying through. Because when your brain is carrying heavy things personally, having something that helps you think more clearly or create faster or do some of the busy, heavy cognitive load work and it can help you implement ideas without starting from scratch is really invaluable. So we have gone all in on AI in some aspects of our business and then we have gone all in on the opposite of that. You know, by hiring, we hired somebody new during this time, even though it's been an incredibly busy time as well. I'm all in on AI being in a complimenting asset to me and my team, meaning we're still going to have team members and Human Touch. Because I do not believe, you know, there's. There's a lady, I won't say who, who. You might be able to guess who she is just by me saying this, but one of our marketing pitches is that she's like an eight figure business owner and she's a team of one. And we recently did Callan Faulkner's I forget, it's like Accelerate to Automate or something like that. And I really like her point of view in the sense that we're using AI to make everybody on our team be able to focus more on the high level tasks that they need to do. But I am not out AI ing my coaching and my interaction with the humans we serve. I've never felt more inspired to actually connect with each and every one of you that are on this. If you are a listener to this podcast, I care about you. Any of my clients who've worked with me will know this. I care deeply about not losing the connections that I have with all of my clients and with you as a listener. So it's never going to be like all AI or bust, but where it makes sense to really leverage AI in a way that is going to help you all implement our frameworks I am all in on. And so we will continue to have high touch ways of you to be able to work with us. And we will also have our new and improved Ask Heather AI membership. That is one of the projects that while it took a little bit longer than planned to actually relaunch, we have really revamped, hired a developer. It's no longer custom gbts. We have an entirely new AI experience that if you've been listening to this podcast, if you jive with our philosophies and our frameworks and our strategies to help you not only competition proof yourself, but be able to leverage unique signature menus and a consult system that makes you a boutique, results driven, highly profitable authority in your market, then I really want you to check out our new and improved AI and we have created a demo for you. So if you are even just a little bit curious, I will link up the demo in the show notes of this episode for you to go check out to see what we've got going on in our new Ask Heather AI experience. It's an amazing way for you to work with me and really with so much value for the price, it's, you know, it's a no brainer. But if you're a little bit curious, I will link that up in the show notes so you can kind of check out the behind the scenes of that project that's been happening as well. So some updates are coming your way. With our coaching, we have some really new, incredible resources for y', all, some fresh content that I cannot wait to share with you. So if you're not already subscribed to the podcast, make sure you do that now because we've got some incredible episodes coming your way. If there's one thing this season reinforced for me, it's this. Life doesn't stop because you own a business.
