In this episode, Meidas Canada visits the Indigenous Law program at the University of Victoria. The Juris Doctor & Juris Indigenarum Doctor program - the first law program in the world to combine Indigenous studies and non-Indigenous laws. The work of reconciliation in Canada goes on despite the threat and anti-democratic intimidation from MAGA and the far right. The Indigenous Law program at the UVic is a model for the world in including Indigenous traditions and laws to build a truly democratic society. We are stronger together.
