I wasn't deemed as educational. I couldn't be educated in those systems. So it was a bit of a fight for me from sort of day one. And I think my mindset very much was I'm really stupid and the only way I'm going to survive is by trying to show people that I'm not and to try and come out with their qualifications. And so there was never really that sort of what is it? Do I enjoy? What do I love about this world? What inspires me? What gets me excited? It was as genial survival, I guess in some ways.

Welcome to Mindful Creative Podcast, a show about understanding how to deal with the highs and lows of creative lives. My name is Radi Malinj and creativity changed my life, but it also nearly killed me. In this season, inspired by my book of the same title, I am talking to some of the most celebrated figures in the creative industry. In our candid conversations, my guests share their experiences and how they overcame their challenges and struggles, how they learned to grow as creatives. A creative career in the 21st century can be overwhelming. I wanted to capture these honest and transparent conversations that might help you find that guiding light in your career. So thank you for joining me on this episode and taking the first or next step towards regaining control of your creative life. You ready? My guest today is a nutritional therapist and author of the fantastic new book do how to Eat for Resilience. She began her career in marketing, but after nearly burning out, she became fascinated by the effects of lifestyle on body, mind and soul. Now she specializes in metabolic health, energy management and stress resilience. She helps people protect their vitality and mitigate health risks. In our conversation, she explains how we should understand our environmental input. From food to sleep to relationships, they directly impact our physical and mental health. She advocates for simple, intentional changes rather than quick fixes, emphasizing awareness of how daily choices affect our long term health. This episode is packed with stories of overcoming obstacles, finding purpose, and helping others to live life fully. It's My pleasure to introduce Sarah Baylis. Hey, Sarah, how are you doing? I'm so excited to have you on the show. We've got so much to talk about. First of all, I need to say congratulations on your book, Do Nourish How To Eat for Resilience. But before we start, for those who may have never heard of you, how would you introduce yourself?
