Take a moment out of his non stop life to come down from New York City and sit with me in person here in my Florida studio. With over 2 million followers, watching him daily as he runs his empire online and in person in his store on 47th street in the Diamond District, it was rare to slow him down for a real, honest conversation. Of course. So people look at you and they look at your handle, your watchkingnyc and they see this larger than life hand, some schmoozy guy. But I wanna hear about how you got there. Like I wanna know about your childhood. You were born in Queens, right? Tell me about New York.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah. Born in a Hasidic community. Hasidic household. My dad is like the chief rabbi in our community.

[Rachel Yucatel]

No way.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah. Born still, still one of six kids. Grew up Hasidic, you know, with the curls and the bald head and penguin looking guys, you know.

No way.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah.

Now for people that are listening and they see these, these men walking through the airports and they're always praying and all this stuff. What does a Hasidic Jew, as opposed to like a regular Jew, it's devoting.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Your life to religion, to God. I mean, it's their way. I don't believe in that way. I believe God is. I mean, I believe they use religion as power to control. That's why I left at 22. We'll get there, but I think it's a brainwash. I know the religious community will come after you, but I think it's all a brainwash. And that's the way they control you and to feel. They make God fearful when God is loving. Right. You're a parent. I'm a parent. We love our children unconditionally.

Yeah.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

That's what God is. God is our parent. He'll love us no matter what we do. We can be the biggest criminal. I don't know, God forbid some people do some things they're not supposed to be done. But he still loves us because we're his children.

Yeah. So you mean with that religion? I think it's a lot of religions, but they put that fear in you that if you don't follow it, you'll be in trouble.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

God's gonna punish you, right? He's gonna. This is happening because you did this? No, this is happening because God decided that's the way you're gonna get closer to him. That's what I believe in.

It's interesting, my family, my grandfather is from the Ukraine. Ashkenazi Jew, whatever. Yeah. And then my mother's side is very like Waspy Palm beach, so I'm half of Each and it was interesting growing up because my mother really pushed religion on me. My other grandparents were more like New York Jews. Like reminds you of Seinfeld almost, you know what I mean? And I love both sides. But I stopped sort of believing in religion after 9 11. I thought if there was a God, how could they do this? Like, it was very confusing for me. So I like the idea of religion. Like on holidays kind of. I like going to church. I like, you know, my other side is still. I go to Seder and I do all those things. But too much religion is very hard for me to take in just cause of my experience, but for everyone else, life. So your family raised you very religious?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah, Ortho, Hasidic. So I'd never went to secular schools, never went to co ed schools, went to boarding school and high school. Basically I was 22 and I decided that this is not for me. So I left the religion. Now I don't have a job, I'm not educated. What do I do? So I went to 47th street and got a job. And a friend of mine, Gabby, asked me if I could bring 50,000, he'll teach me the business, the watch business. And that's what happened.

So. But growing up, do they. Do you have aspirations like every other kid? Are you like, oh, I want to.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Be a surgeon, I want to be a doctor.

[Rachel Yucatel]

You do?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I want to be a plastic surgeon. That was my dream. I used to watch it on tv. I used to go like, talk to doctors when I was a teenager to pick their brain and ask them what happens and what it feels like like, you know, helping somebody. So my dream was to be a doctor.

Okay.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I went to my dad, I said, I'm going to be a doctor, I'm going to go to college. Like, no, you're not. You're going to be a rabbi. You're going to be a doctor for the souls. You're going to cure souls, you need to cure human beings. Like you don't need to cure flesh and blood. That's what I did. I became a rabbi at 22.

You did?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah. And I used to, I studied, graduated, became a rabbi. I was like, this is not for me.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Right.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I can't. This is not what I want to do.

So to change your life, was that really hard for your family?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

It still is.

It still is. Do you have a good, do you have a relationship with your family?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now I do. I mean, now I do as I got older.

So you have siblings?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Six.

I have a Twin brother. Identical. And I have four other siblings.

Stop. What does the identical brother do?

He owns a franchise called Smash House Burgers.

There's one in Boca. Yeah, there's one in North Miami and eight in New York City.

That is amazing.

He's killing them. God bless my twin brother. So we both broke off. Broke off together. My brother's more religious than me now. Okay, he's back. He's whatever, but he's still not, like, Hasidic. But he's closer to religion than I am. Okay, but we were always together.

We went through this journey together.

And the other siblings are still ultra, ultra, like, okay, all right, well, God bless them. Whatever they want to do. All right, so you go to 47th Street.

You needed $50,000.

I got 50,000, started the business.

Wait, how'd you get $50,000?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I borrowed it.

Okay, not from your family, obviously, because.

I actually took it from my dad.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Oh, did he know you took it?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah, I took only 50,000. He's like, whatever, just take it and good luck. I took it, built it into an empire, lost it all in 2012, gambling. Gambled all my money away, ended up owing money over a million bucks, boy. Over a million dollars. Lost my business, lost my house, lost everything. Was homeless, went to rehab, therapy for two years, cleaned my act, and now we're here.

Okay, you went too fast. So you start with $50,000. And what did you think you wanted to do? You wanted to learn the watch business. Why watches you like?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I don't know. I just.

Did your dad have nice watch?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

My dad's a religious man. He'd have nothing nice.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Oh, got it. Okay, so you just liked watches?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I loved it.

Were you educated in it?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I knew nothing, okay? I just went right in, bought my first watch for 11,000, sold it for 11,800, and I was hooked.

Okay.

Made $800 in 20 minutes. Like, I'm not doing anything else.

So what did you do? You worked for someone else?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Somebody taught me the business. I was under his wing, okay?

In a store.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

In a store. He had his own store, actually. I met him. We did a road test together. His name is Gabby. He really helped me in this business a lot, and I learned from there how to buy and sell and what a Rolex is, what the models are, what it's worth, what the market is.

Okay? And so explain the watch business for people, because I think a lot of people are familiar with Rolex. The other ones get a little fancy. So, like, tell me all about it. What do we need to know about the watch?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

There's levels, right? Like car levels? It's levels. Richard Mille, Patek, and there's Audemars Pigeon, Rolex, and this is a Cartier Breitling Omega. They have FP Journe that. Some of them are on the high, some of them are not.

Do you like brands like Omega that seem like a standard low end?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Okay, it's fine.

[Rachel Yucatel]

It's a watch.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

A watch, it works. There's a resale value to it. It's not like tomorrow it's gonna be worth a million dollars. I mean, Rolex is the one that. I think Rolex is the godfather of the watches. It's the oldest watch brand. I believe I might be wrong, but steady.

Yeah.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

90% of people walk into my store buying a Rolex.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Right. Okay. What do you think about new versus used markets?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I'm in the. I'm a used guy.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Okay.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

And so my cars used. I buy my watches used.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Okay. Do you even sell any brand new?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Of course I sell brand.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Okay, of course. But the market is more there for use. I mean, obviously, I would think for the buyer, the value is there for having something used.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yes. Because again, you buy something new automatically you're going to lose money on it. Unless it's a specialty item. Specialty piece. But I need normal watch. So why would you buy new? If you can buy, you save the two, three thousand.

[Rachel Yucatel]

Yeah, right.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Somebody's gonna lose. Some people don't care. I want my energy on the watch. People are into energy or whatever. I want it to be mine. So it's fine. My job is to educate the consumer, to educate him. He'll make his decision.

So people say that the luxury watch market is always a good investment. Is that always true?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I don't call it an investment. It's investable. It's not an investment. You're not guaranteed to make money. Okay.

[Rachel Yucatel]

So if people wanted to get in the watch market, what are your favorites? Like, do you like Rolex over something else?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

I mean, Rolex is the one that shows the most that has the invest. It's invested like the old Daytona is, the old submariners, the old sport models, the ones that went up in price. Gold watches typically don't. Very rare they do. So it all depends. But again, it's something you're buying. It's like a Birkin.

Right?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

You guys, women have Birkins, right? Yeah, Birkins. Are they investable? No. But you're not gonna lose your shirt, right? You buy for 25 grand, you'll sell it for 23,000. It might go up. If it goes up, you're in the luck. But you don't buy Birkin to throw it in the safe.

Right.

Buy it because it's nice. It's luxury, it's fashion. But if you buy whatever it is, Michael Kors, no offense, you buy it for five grand, you're gonna get a hundred dollars.

Got it? Okay. But that's not a watch brand.

No, Michael Kors, I'm talking about the bag brand. Right.

So you buy Birkin, but I think they have watches.

They do, but whatever. It's like.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's like a cheesy.

It's nice. It's fashion. It's fashion. It's fashion.

Right. What do buyers completely misunderstand about the value in the watch business?

But we don't make that much money.

We make more money on jewelry than watches. Watches you make on a, on a $12,000 watch. Lucky if you make 800 to 1,000 bucks.

Okay, right.

So people like, why you have so much money to make 800? Because I sell 10 of those a day.

Got it. So people are still liking. No matter the economy, people are still buying.

Oh yeah. It's, it's getting more and more price every time.

I want to get into that. How did you switch from watches into. Into diamonds?

So I did watch it till 2012. 11. 2011, I started getting into diamond and I was doing diamonds for two years. Made a lot of money with the upgrades. I'm not going to get into it now. And I went. Once I lost my money in gambling, whatever. I went back to Washington 2014.

So I knew the diamond market. I know what, you know, what it's for, what people like to do with it. So I started doing. Now I started doing jewelry because of lab.

Right. Which I want to get into. But before we skip over to that, I actually want to go back to. You said you had a business and then you lost it.

Yeah.

So when you. Before you lost it, were you now on your own or you were still working with this company? Okay. And you had a store or you were.

I was a wholesaler. I had an office upstairs.

Wholesaler. Okay. And when you're a wholesaler, tell our listeners what that means.

Wholesalers, you sell to retail stores. Like I see jewelry stores around the country around 47th Street. Downstairs. Upstairs are all the wholesalers who sell them downstairs. So wholesaler will not sell to a retail client.

You have to have a special life.

So you obviously had done well enough and made those relationships that you had this business that the retailers were buying from you.

Okay. And you were doing well for yourself.

And so what happened? You got involved in gambling?

I went to the casino one time.

In Atlantic City.

Went to the Trump Hotel, won $18,000 in two hours. I said, I'm never going back to 47th street again.

Said I'm good at this. And then I ended up. What was your really bad baccarat? I was really bad at it. I mean, not bad. I was. I lost.

How long did you think you were good at it?

I lost 100 pounds in six months, okay? That's how bad I was.

And you never, like. Did you go back to work?

I don't go back, no.

So you stayed there and just became.

Again, took money from people and gambled my life away.

Did you get in trouble with the law?

No, with people.

But I mean, with people, yeah.

What was that like? Having people come and say, you owe me money.

It's horrible. And then I just sat down with people once I realized I have a problem, and I said, give me two years, I'll pay you back.

Did you pay everybody back?

Everybody back.

Okay, I want to know how you did that. But did you. How did you get the watch business?

I did it. I went back to washes and started hustling and moved to Hong Kong for seven years and built my business.

Yeah.

Okay, hold on. You have so much going on, and it's so good, so I don't want you to skip through it. So wait, so you. Did you ever have to go to rehab? Like, how did you get over two years?

So I went therapy first. I went to therapist, sat down with him.

Cuz I think you really have to want to stop. Right?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Shout out Dr. Meisel. I sat with him, the nicest guy. First thing I told him, I said, you live in my community. Don't. Don't like, be there because of my dad. I don't give a who your dad. I said, okay, now you can be my therapist. I sat down, I started lying to him. He's like, don't come here to lie to me, because I'll take your money. But don't waste your time. The hardest thing was to admit what you're doing. It's the hardest thing in the world.

Yeah. And for people listening, how did you get there? Because I know a lot of people.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

It was either prison or got it or there.

[Rachel Yucatel]

But as you're sitting there admitting this, were you like, shit, I want to go back to the casino.

Of course.

Yeah.

I still want to go back.

Yeah.

I miss it every day, but it's something that I'll not. I mean, I can't do.

Because you just know what. Rock bottom.

Yeah, it was. It was really bad. It was really bad. Lost £100. Oh, the whole world, money. I was embarrassed. They took my house, took my car. They took my. Everything I ever owed. I was. I was done. I had no choice. Either I'm gonna hurt somebody to make money and go to jail, or I'm gonna go clean myself.

Yeah. So at rock bottom, how did you start to rebuild?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

They teach you it's like one hour at a time, one day at a time. Every day is a. Is a victory. So you take every day. You don't think about tomorrow, you don't think about your thing. But now, the moment, every moment is a victory. So every day you're clean. Every day you don't gamble. It's a victory for you. That's what I did. I took one step at a time. And then I'll never forget, I was on ebay because I loved watches again. So I was like, you know, I saw a watch and I needed money. So I went to my guy upstairs, one of my wholesalers. I sold them. So listen to me. You have 25,000? He said, yeah. I said, I'm gonna buy this watch. I'll flip it, make $500. Okay, do it. I flipped and made 2,000. He's like, you know the watch business. I said, yeah, I did it before that. I was like, I'll put all the money, we go 50, 50. But you have to leave the dime business. I said, I have no business. I'm broke. All right, done.

So now, which guy was this? Is this somebody you work?

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah, his name was Sono. God bless him. He's an Indian guy. He's the best guy. He helped me a lot when I was going through my struggles. So he's like, I'll put all the money. We'll split 50, 50. I said, just give me $4,000 a month, and the rest I make, I'm gonna pay my people I want. That's what I did for two years.

And he shipped me to Hong Kong, and he's like, go there. That's where the business is. I went there and.

When you come into fork in the road, you know how to handle a situation. Either you handle it like a street thug or you handle it with education. That's usually the educational way is better.

Right. I will tell you, as somebody who is highly educated, that it is life experience that teaches you how to get through things. The education is good for the basic.

Basic. I don't have the basic.

It's also good for connections. And I will. Nobody guided me that way. Like, I will make sure that when my daughter goes to college, it's a college that I know 20 years from now, when she is in a position where she needs something, wants something, there's some relationships. That's where you get the relationship.

Yeah. I have no. I have no connections with nobody. Now I do. Thanks to social media. We'll get to there. But before that, I was a regular guy on the streets. Nobody knew who I was.

Right. So you're in Hong Kong, you're figuring this whole thing out. And is it mostly watches or. It's diamonds.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Only watches.

Okay. And was there some lesson out of that experience that you were like, oh, shit, this is the biggest thing I learned from Hong Kong.

[Moshe (Watch King NYC)]

Yeah. That. I mean, you think we're big people in New. In New York City. Hong Kong have the biggest fish in the world. I went to Macau. I'm not gonna lie. I went there. I called my therapist. I gotta go see Macau. Macau was like Vegas Yeah, yeah. So I gotta see how they gamble there. He's like. He go, but promise you're not gonna play. I said, I promise I'm not gonna have no money. I went, I see. I saw Chinese people that are playing. The. The way they played. They're so smart, educated, how much money they have. It was. It was a different. It was all. It was a different world that I was in. Like, they built their buildings in the year hotels or whatnot. It was like it was New York City Times 10.

Yeah. They are never been. I've never been. I've flown through there.

You have to go.

Yeah. They are regimented. They are thoughtful in everything that they do. Meticulous. You know what I mean? Like, it's a different. I mean, it's a different culture. Soldiers for sure. And. Yeah. And they are focused on something. And don't think I had.

They threw me out of Hong Kong. Mahomes won the Super bowl in 2020. Right when Covid started. Or 21. When was it? Mahomes won his first super bowl that day. I went to Hong Kong for the last time, and I didn't go in three years later because of COVID Covid hit then, and I remember, I was like, what the hell is Covid? And they're like, no, it's not for you guys. It's a Chinese virus. Just get the hell out of here. Go back to America.

Right?

So we went on the plane. They're like, all Chinese customers have to wear masks. Americans don't, because you guys are going back home.

Oh, wow.

Then when they hit America, I was like, oh, I was not the first one who got Covid. Like, I was nervous. I was there.

Right.

But then.

So you got out and got back to America? They threw us out.

We couldn't even stay there. They said, if you're staying here, we're gonna close this place.

Little did you know, they closed our Hong Kong too.

But they closed Hong Kong for two years.

Same thing, just shipping back and forth.

Okay, got it. And is that when your Instagram started to take off?

It was February 2, 2022.

Okay, tell me why? What happened? Well, up until then, did you do on Instagram?

Yeah, just posting whatever it was. In February, I would be on all these other tick tockers and people like, oh, I saw you on this guy's tick tock. I said, I was like, you Know, let me try it. So I called my partner and I'm like, bro, let's do tick tock. He's like, no. I said, listen to me. I'm gonna get a booth downstairs, you know, cost $2,000 a month. That's like all the way in the back. And it's two years. It's a year lease. Gonna cost you $24,000. Either we hit it or we don't. Let's try. I don't want. I'm not in. I said, okay. So you stay upstairs, run the service center. I'll go downstairs with the TikTok guy. Said, okay.

And at this time, were you already watch King nyc?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I got that name. I made that name up in 2017.

I'm very shy in real life.

Somebody walked up my son's like, yo, you didn't come say hi to me. I said, bro, I'm a shy kid. A lot of people. Can I just go to the back and hide? Because I'm. I don't know what to tell people. Like, yesterday when I was going on Rosanna show, I was. I was shaking. I didn't sleep all night. I'd have, like, felt like I have a hole in my stomach. Yeah. Like, if you put me in a public room, 100 people, I probably want the floor to open and bury me. I have, like, anxiety from public speaking or I get nervous. TikTok really helped me through it. I was much worse. So we did the first Video.

So I did it with Moses. Moses is a famous tiktoker who was before me on TikTok. I went on TikTok because of him. So he came to my office one time. He wanted to buy a watch. We were arguing for $500. Let's flip a coin for that 500 bucks.

He's like, yeah, let's do it. But I wasn't on TikTok yet. He was. So he was recording us doing negotiation.

I just say it for my brain. I don't. Because I'm not educated, so I can't say something with fancy. But I just talk like a street kid. And a lot I suffer through the stuff people suffer. I'm not embarrassed to talk about my addiction, my anxiety, what I go through, because we all have it, People stigma. Like, oh, he's. He's not normal. No, we just. I think the whole world suffers from some sort of mental disorder, but they're embarrassed of what they have. I'm not embarrassed. This is me. Either you like it or no. If you don't like it, it's fine. Like, I have add. I can't focus. In five minutes in the conversation, I'll start. You see, even during our conversation, I'll just jump to a different topic and jump back.

Well, no, I've noticed, like you're on the phone, you're on the TikTok. You're like having. But I mean, that's the majority of people, by the way.

But I think it's important what you bring up because everyone is suffering in their own mind from like a thousand different insecurities or things that are going on. And I love. Like for example, you posted the other day, you said, I woke up, I'm not feeling well today.

Felt like shit.

Yeah. And I didn't. And you didn't say whether it was like you had bad news or you physically felt sick or whatever. But you just said, I'm not having a great day. You mentally.

One guy's like, so I got robbed a few months ago outside my house.

Oh, no way.

Yeah, unfortunately, it was ten o' clock in the morning. They took half a million dollars in merchandise for me. They took my watch, they took my chains, everything.

Did you get hurt?

Yeah, I got, I got tased.

Yeah. So I was walking to my car, There's a guy, a construction suit. I turn around and I see a gun. I'm like, I hope it's not a real gun. There was a taser. So he tased me. Not to the, the one that comes out. And you never, you know, you ever wonder what, unfortunately, what a paralyzed person feel like? I was paralyzed and then I started running to my house and then they attacked me because one, they missed. One leg hit. One hit the leg, one hit the side of my belt.

Okay. Oh, so you weren't fully.

Yeah, that one leg was like. That was.

I was like wobbling.

And then they beat me, took all my. And ran away. And I got in the car, cops came, I want to chase him. They got even worse, I guess, because ran, boom in the car accident. Ten seconds later, my shoulder got dislocated. Now mind you, I have a 6am flight to LA to go to David Dobrik's birthday.

Oh my God.

So honestly, that's why, that's why I said, like, don't have self pity. I could have sat home and been depressed. Like, guys, I just got robbed. I'm like, you know this. They're not gonna stop me. 6:00am I went with a cast. Call my partner. Like, I just Got robbed. I need jewelry and a watch in my house. It's in two hours. I'm in the hospital.

Cause you can't travel without.

Because I can't go to Dobrik's birthday without any of that shit. But he came to my house. Actually, I went to work. I went to the hospital. 4pm they checked me out. I went straight to work. Picked up my jewelry again.

Did you match the guy?

No. They never will to this day. Till this day, unfortunately, the cops have their hands tied. Because God bless New York City and their laws. And they're smart. They came with a Taser, so they didn't come with a deadly weapon. They're getting away the next day, so what's the point of catching him? To book him and let him go, Right?

What? That makes me question insurance. You know, everybody talks about, I had.

Insurance, but they didn't cover me. They'd be like, oh, you did an insurance scam. If you saw an Instagram and people wrote on the comments, you'll be like, whoa, you're a scammer. You're a thief. You did it for the insurance. First of all, why would I danger my life for 400 grand? 500 grand, thank God I can afford it. Second of all, I didn't have insurance because I was caring. I wasn't caring. I was holding. So I only had $140,000 insurance. It took half a million. So I lost 300,000. Wow.

I'm sorry to hear that.

If they took my bag, I would have. It would have been. They could have said insurance fraud.

But. But let me ask a question, because people that get jewelry, I want to educate them a little bit on the insurance portion of everyone should get insurance, even on lab.

Yeah. Get insurance. It's 10 grand. It's still money.

Okay. And then what about settings? There's a lot of stuff on Instagram right now about all. All these different settings. What? What do you like? What. What do you think of the different settings?

I mean, daintier is nicer to me, but everyone has their Own taste. If you wear a big rock, have it like Tiffany style plane. Right. And if you have a small rock, you wanna make it look big. Do a halo setting. There's a bunch of settings to choose from, but yeah.

You and I have been talking about the wedding band. And so we're still kind of creating it. And you have suggested to me to wear my wedding band on the opposite hand, which I love that idea. Cause then every year I could buy a new one and stack.

I'm gonna also change your stack. So we're gonna take all those bracelets, put it on here, because that's empty.

Oh, good idea.

And once the watch is the own boot alone. And then you have the bracelets like this.

Okay. I feel like we've gone through all this. I was gonna say, what's the biggest myth about diamonds or watches you wish people would stop believing immediately?

Wow, that's a great question. The biggest myth.

Oh, Wow. I don't know. I mean, investable, that's the only thing. Everything else is fine. It's a luxury item.

You mean the myth is that people think, oh, this is like investing in.

Yes, Investing, even.

So I think that's important though, for people to listen. If you love it, buy it. But don't buy it, because you think, oh, I'm gonna get my money back.

Buy a shirt. You're gonna make your money back. No, but you wear it, you enjoy it, you love it, and you get whatever you can. When you sell in the second market, like you sell a bag, you sell shoes, there's a market for it. Some will go up, some won't. It's fine. It's like buying a car.

Yeah. I think for me, the hardest thing about this whole conversation is people are gonna think. Think that the people that think it will still think that lab grown diamonds are cheap.

No, we're not educated.

The smart investment.

Yeah, you know, that's. That's the way. That's. That's the thing that they're missing. And that's the. The changing of the minds going forward is that. That is the smart investment.

It's like flying first class, paying $20,000 or flying through points. What do you think I do? I don't pay 20 grand. I'm a Jew. I don't fucking pay. Never. I'll drive there, I'll go by boat before I pay 20,000. But I get it through points, right? Well, I'm still.

I still walk on there like, I paid for it. And I tell me, oh, I just paid it. Like, no, you didn't. Like, oh, whatever.

There's a system for a reason. Just get. All you gotta do is educate yourself. The more you get educated, the more you're gonna learn, the more you're not gonna get ripped off and the more you're gonna feel comfortable about yourself. And I'm not embarrassed to say, this is live. And I'm a jeweler.

Right. Right. What do you know now about money and value that you wish you understood earlier in life?

Money can. Money can be the root of all evil. It could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Depends how you spend it. People make money and they become cocky, they become egotistical. And money can humble you. Do good with your money. Help people who need help. Listen, I was driving here, I saw a guy, it says veteran. I need money for food. Took out 100 bucks, gave it to him. He was so thankful. Why should he be there on the street?

Yeah, I agree. It's really hard. I love the underdog. Like, I.

No, I felt bad for, like, you guys served our country.

I know it's terrible sitting on the.

Street asking for money to take care of him. I know people look at him. Oh, like, don't look at him. It can be you. One day I was there.

Yeah.

They made me ask for five for 30 cents when I was in the casino. That's when I. That's when I realized I had an issue. I had $5 to pay for parking. I'll never forget, it was $4.70 I had left. They said, you're not leaving. You're short 30 cents. I said, I just lost my ass. I said, too bad. I begged for 30 cents on the street to get my car out. I remember driving home crying. I came back the next day.

That's how I knew I had a problem.

But isn't it interesting that having an experience like that now reminds you to stay right where you are as opposed to ever feel.

I'm just saying, just don't enjoy the money. Do good with it. Don't spend it and live for 30k. Don't be stupid.

I think that's great advice. All right, lastly, what is next for you? Like, what's on your bucket list? Do you want to do more than what you're doing? Do you? Like, I know you just started this membership thing, so this is going to be a big deal for you, but, like, I know your mindset is to kind of live in the moment, but, like, is there something you really want to do with your life?

Cure cancer for children. I swear that's my whole goal. It makes me sick when I watch these kids stuff. I cry every day when I watch. I see Tiktoks at night. I'm a cancer. I'm sensitive. I'm a June baby. I'm a cancer. I cry every day. Watching these kids suffer, it makes me crazy. And if I can change something, that's all I care about.

But how could you change something? Like by getting involved, like making so.

Much money you could donate, build hospitals, managers. Hopefully they find a cure for this shit.
