Launch your podcast on Podbean today. And now the end is near. How I wish we could play it. As Frank Sinatra sang, Keir Starmer will announce his resignation as Britain's Prime Minister tomorrow. A nation rejoices and the Iranian delegation have stormed out of the negotiation room in Zurich after Donald Trump, for the 11th time in a single day, breaks the number one commandment in the Memorandum of Understanding. It is forbidden to use force or to threaten to use force to the other party in the memorandum. Eleven times in a single day. What kept them? The Iranians are out and Donald Trump is on his way to Camp David where he never goes. I smell a rat. Stay tuned. It's the mother of all doctors. You are listening to the mother of all talk shows podcast with George Galloway. Donald Trump never goes to Camp David. He hates its rustic, spartan nature. He prefers the vulgar, glittery sleaze of Mar a Lago in Florida. That much has been well established. But this weekend he has totally unexpectedly taken the helicopter to Camp David to be amongst the woods and the nature trail. I smell a rat myself and I'm wondering if the provocations issued on social media today, 11 of them, in which he threatens, inter alia, to hit Iran hard, harder than last time. He threatens the very life of the negotiators who are sitting with J.D. vance, his vice president, in official negotiations. He tells them that they will be lucky to get back to their country alive. He is threatening murder with the people he's negotiating with. Which isn't a surprise really, as this whole leg of the whole thing started with a sneak attack far sneakier than Hirohito. Hirohito wasn't negotiating with the United States when he hit the United States with Pearl harbor, but Trump was negotiating with the very people that he then murdered in their houses, in their beds. I think it was a provocation today. I think it was meant to provoke a walkout altogether by the Iranian delegation. And they thought so too. That's why they didn't they left the room. They shunned a photo opportunity, mind you, so did the prime Minister of Qatar. Even he didn't want his picture taken. We with J.D. vance. My, how his stock has fallen just in advance of the midterms. But the Iranians didn't leave the hotel. They didn't leave the negotiations and they're still there. Although if Donald Trump makes good on his threat, they may not make it alive back to their country. And Donald Trump may be in Camp David for a nefarious reason. It's hard to work out any good reason why he would be in Camp David. He never there's no golf course. He doesn't live amongst gold showers and toilet basins. He doesn't live surrounded by courtiers and floozies, courtesans and the rest of it. It's hard to believe he's gone to Camp David to bird watch, if you get my drift. So we may very well be back into war after all of this. Mind you, he's burned bridges with Benjamin Netanyahu on that I am absolutely certain. And if I had a vote in this poll, Has Trump really fallen out with Netanyahu? He sure has, as the New York Times quoted him this very week, calling Netanyahu a con man, which is the worst insult in the lexicon of Donald J. Trump, being he himself is the ultimate con man. And one con man can't stand another con man operating on his patch. He has. And so has J.D. vance. So even has Marco Rubio. So has sundry members. The Trump administration, beginning to be echoed in the mass media, expressed their divorce from Israel, or at least a trial separation. The vice president, J.D. vance, said that the relationship with Israel was akin to the relationship with France and with the United Kingdom. Well, as Donald Trump has just danced on the grave of the United Kingdom's prime minister, Keir Starmer, about whom more in a minute. And as he's threatened 1000% tariffs on French wine if Israel is in the same league as France and the United Kingdom, well, that means they've fallen from favor. And the latest polling in the United States showing Benjamin Netanyahu with an approval rating in the United states of just 35%, down from 59% prior to October 7, it indicates that it's all gone south for Israel, for Zionism and for Netanyahu in the United States. And it will never be Glad confident morning again. Even if Trump were to do another 180, even if Trump were to perform a U turn, even if Trump were to bomb Iran this very weekend or this very week, it will not restore Israel to any kind of parity with where it stood before. It's over for Israel in the United States of America. And the younger the person polled, whether they're Democrats, Republicans or independents, the more strongly they disapprove of Israel and of the United States over attachment, shall we say, to that settler state far away on the Mediterranean. So I don't know what Trump's going to do next, but I don't know if Netanyahu has much more room for maneuver. It's reported that the US has opened back channels with the opposition leaders in the state of Israel. And it may very well be that even in advance of elections, they are trying to push Netanyahu out so they can Gomulka him. Gomolka was a discredited communist leader in Poland. They got rid of him and then blamed every problem in Poland on the shoulders of Gomolka. That's probably what they'll try to do with Netanyahu. But it's all going south for Donald Trump on every front. He spent $14 million on the reflecting pool, which he wanted to turn from Barack Obama green to deep American blue. I don't have time to go into all the disasters that have occurred, but let's just say that when it was painted it a deep American blue, the temperature in the pond went up so much that the algae multiplied and is now in its millions in the pool and it's now dirtier than ever. And the deep blue paint is coming off in sheets and people are stealing it and keeping it as keepsakes. Well, they paid for it $14 million, which went to a guy without a bid. A no bid contract went to a guy who's Donald Trump's neighbor at Mar a Lago. And if we've got a picture of him, he's worth seeing. He's like a character out of the Goodfellas or out of the Godfather. Anyway, I'm digressing. From the ballroom to the reflecting pool to his relationship with all of his former Zionist friends, Shapiro, Levin, Barry Weiss, they are all lambasting Donald Trump. And most ominous of all, Mariam Adelson will never give him another shekel now. He won't need it for any further elections. He'll be lucky to complete this presidential term, never mind run for another one. But it must have hurt when her newspaper in Israel, she owns almost all of them, when her newspaper in Israel denounced Trump as a traitor, a backstabber. Trump sold his whole presidency to these wretches and they've turned on him just because he tried to end a war he should never have started, and which he started at their behest and on their behalf. The midterms are coming at us like an express train. November is just around the corner. It is midsummer's Day already. And November. The election campaign for November has already begun. If Trump loses not just one, but both of the Houses of Congress, the probability of impeachment, maybe weekly impeachment, steeply rises. And as the next presidential election looms, there will come a point at which Republican senators will not any longer wish to veto the removal from office of Donald J. Trump. So in these high stakes situation, you can see why he's panicking to end the war, and yet why he's provoking a continuation of the war. He's zig zagging. This is an empire of chaos. Absolute chaos reigns in Washington. Mind you, it isn't much better in London. And I turn to my favourite subject. When we started the televised edition, the mother of all talk shows, I actually posed with a block of wood. On the day that Keir Starmer was anointed as the new leader of the Labour Party, I told you all that he was there. It is there. There's the block of wood that I brought with me onto this very studio platform. But I underestimated how bad he would be. He turned out not just to be a block of wood, he turned out to be so dense, so sclerotic, so wooden, so tongue tied, so doubtful, so dubious, so devious, so deviant that he will go down in history as a notorious freak show who turned up out of the blue as Britain's Prime Minister for a mercifully short time. I'll be dancing on his grave when I hear from his own lips that he's resigning from the Prime Ministership tomorrow. There seems little doubt that that's what he's going to do. The only doubt there might be is how quickly he'll be going. Donald Trump himself announced that Starmer was resigning. And every newspaper in Britain, every broadcaster in Britain, including his own broadcaster, the state mouthpiece BBC, have announced that Starmer will be going tomorrow. Now, he may seek to delay it for a week or a month. He may say that the campaign to be the next Prime Minister, next leader of the Labour Party, and therefore automatically the next Prime Minister, requires a two month campaign, or, who knows, even a three month campaign, and he may generously agree to stay on. I don't know any of this. I'm very far away. I don't have the inside track on it. But I'm certain that virtually no one in Britain, virtually no one, will regret his passing. And the only regret there will be will that such a man, such a dullard, such a doltard, could have held that august position, even if only for two years. He Makes Liz Truss look competent. He makes Rishi Sunak look spectacular, he makes Boris Johnson look honest. And I tell you, that's a very difficult thing to do. So people have been asking me all day, who's going to be the next Prime Minister? Well, the next Prime Minister bearing an act of God is that man behind Starmer on that picture on my wall. His name is Andy Burnham. I've known him for 25 years. He has run to be the Labour leader not once but twice before and crashed ignominiously to humiliating failure. In 2015, when he last stood, his goose was cooked. When, gratuitously, egregiously, he announced on a platform, on camera, that if he was elected leader of the Labour Party, the first country he'd be visiting was Israel. Bad timing, Andy. Just before the people elected Jeremy Corbyn in a landslide. Bad timing, Andy. Now that Israel is the most hated country on the Earth. Bad timing, Andy. When even Donald Trump is viciously attacking Israel and its leadership, you are unearthed in rare footage, but it isn't rare now. The man that put it out could not have imagined that millions of people would view it and they would have been hoping it was lost. But nothing on the Internet is lost. Bad timing to have joined the Labor Friends of Israel in 2015, just prior to running to become the Labour leader. And that's a clue to him. This is not a man that, in all the time he's been in Parliament, has nailed his colours to the Israeli mast. No, he doesn't have any colours and he's never nailed them to any mast. He's only interested in power, in. In influence for himself. And he knew that. Just like being a Freemason in some professions, being a member of the Labor Friends of Israel was mandatory if you were going to get on in the Labour Party, still in thrall to the unlamented Tony Blair. I remember a time when it was not so. I was in the labour party for 33 years, remember? And in that 33 years, for most of it, it was quite intellectually legitimate to take a pro Palestinian, a pro Arab line. But under Tony Blair, it became mandatory. Mandatory for anyone to get on in Labour politics.
Caller Lance
And.
George Galloway
And that's why Burnham joined in 2015. That's why he pretends to be a northerner. Of course, he is from the north of the country, but he ain't no Northerner. That's why he pretends to put gravy on his chips or on his cocoa pops for his breakfast. It's why he pretends to Drop his H's and his T's. It's why he pretends I bar gum is to be a Coronation street viewer. That's why he pretends to like football. I played in the House of Commons football team with him many, many times and against him. He ain't no footballer, Gov. Andy Burnham is a fraud. Or in northern parlance, real northern parlance, Andy Burnham is a Chancellor. He will take any opportunity to do anything that is required to get on. And he's only back in Parliament because one of the most ultra supporters of Israel, a man called Josh Simons, a man that if Israel allowed you to, would be royalty in Israel, he stepped down from to allow Starmer to take his seat. He didn't do it for nothing, bruv. He didn't do it without price, Gov. He didn't do it without eliciting in advance that Burnham will be loyal to the State of Israel until the bitter end, which is approaching. But Andy won't worry about that. If it got him into Parliament and it gets him into 10 Downing Street. That's job done so far as he is concerned. Neither will he adjust the British government's positioning, ruinous, disastrous positioning on the NATO attack against the Russian Federation. In fact, Burnham campaigned to take the World cup away from Russia in 2018. That's how foul he is. A World cup the best, or the second best one or the other World cup in history that anyone who attended it, player, official, journalist, fan, says was the greatest World cup in 2018, Stammer tried to take it away from Russia. Not Starmer, of course, Burnham. It's a Freudian slip, because they really are two cheeks of the same arse. Now, Burnham, of course, may change one or both of those positions. As I said to you, he has principles, but if you don't like them, he has others. His only real principle is what suits Andy Burns. And therefore, if you think about it, I have a right to be happy that there's about to be a change, because what would be the point in overthrowing your Prime Minister and then continuing exactly the same policies that the Prime Minister had been following? Where would be the electoral political profit in that? And Andy, with his long history of privatizing the National Health Service, definitely knows the meaning of profit. So I take the view that Andy Barnum, succeeding Keir Starmer, is a step forward. It won't obviously restrict my unremitting complaint and critique and attack, if necessary, upon him, including in the forthcoming elections for the Mayor of Greater Manchester, which he's now been forced to divest. I'm running as the Workers Party candidate in Greater Manchester and demanding that the British government assure me that I will not be detained under the Terrorism act at gunpoint at Manchester Airport when I arrive to take part, as is my right, in a democratic election for mayor. And if I don't get that assurance, I will campaign for the mayoralty of Greater Manchester from the streets of Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. See how that makes you look, your big planks of wood. It's been marvelous. Stay tuned for the rest of the show. It is the mother of all talk shows. You are listening to the mother of all talk shows podcast with George Galloway. My answer is Trump really has fallen out with Netanyahu. Let's see what our next guest thinks. Leith Marouf is a political activist, journalist, political commentator, and perhaps most importantly, host of Free Palestine tv. He was a big hit when he appeared on the show a few weeks ago, and we thought it was time to ask him back. Laith, welcome back to the mother of all talk shows. Let's ask you that question first. Has Trump really fallen out with Netanyahu? What does your gut tell you?
Laith Marouf
Well, thank you very much for having me once more, George. My gut tells me that the whole empire right now is reeling from the fact that they supported a genocide relentlessly for three years and have lost all their soft power, as well as much of their economic and military power in that endeavor. And right now, we're beginning to finally see the imperialist order begin to decouple from Zionism. So this is just the beginnings of it, and I don't think it's only about Trump. I think the global economy of the empire and its ability to project power across the world, soft and military, is at a crucial moment. And the more the empire invests in trying to defend this genocidal regime, the faster it will be collapsing. So it's more about really saving the remainder of whatever power this empire has. If it wants to continue to be a competitor to the the rising new multipolarity with China, Iran and Russia at the other end of that competition.
George Galloway
Well, you definitely put it more eloquently than I did. But we are in agreement. As Gwyneth Paltrow, the new face of the Israeli occupation, put it when divorcing the fellow from Coldplay, we are consciously uncoupling. What I'm watching now in Washington is a conscious uncoupling from Israel. They have finally realized that this is a strategic liability not just for the United States, but for everyone, including Jews. Now let's go to Zurich, as it were. And you'll have been watching as I was the the histrionics in the chamber, J.D. vance looking like he could kill when even the Qatari wouldn't pose for a picture with them. Never mind the Iranians, the Iranians walking out the room when the truth social threats of Donald Trump, which are a complete flagrant breach of the memorandum of understanding, by the way, number one commandment number one is no force or the threat of force between the parties. And Trump was blood curdlingly threatening Iran today on truth social what do you make of it? Is this process going anywhere?
Laith Marouf
I am not sure that Trump or the empire as a whole has yet understood the massive shift in balance of power in the region of West Asia and on a global scale in terms of the exposure of the machinations of empire as we saw over the last three years. And they're still trying to resist this change. So yes, Trump would love that Netanyahu gives him a chance by stopping the massacres in Lebanon, but he still has yet to admit openly to his people that the United States suffered its worst defeat Since World War II in this confrontation with Iran and that that reality hasn't set in in their minds. So we see right now the Iranian team walking out of the meeting, refusing to return to the meeting hall because of these blood curdling threats, as you call them. And until there is not only a cessation of attacks in Lebanon by the Zionist regime, but also a full withdrawal from occupied parts of Lebanon. Now this is what's been put on the table. And what Trump did by actually making these threats online is it just made the position of Iran even more solid because before it was willing to have a ceasefire and then negotiate the withdrawal of the Zionists from south Lebanon. But at this moment they will only accept a full withdrawal of the occupation forces before they even begin talking.
George Galloway
Now let's turn then to Lebanon, which we both know extremely well. The massacres which I think a thousand people have been murdered by Israel since the ceasefire, as they laughably describe it. Much of the south of Lebanon is occupied, all of it is contested. The Lebanese resistance have fought them to a standstill on some strategic heights. The Beaufort Castle show turned out to be just that and benefited the occupier not one whit. And mass casualty events continue to afflict the invading Israeli forces, including just yesterday. The Israelis can agree a ceasefire they actually did today, although none took place. But it's very difficult for Netanyahu to agree to withdraw the ground forces that he's got in South Lebanon. And yet what else can he do?
Laith Marouf
Yes, yes. We see on the ground around the Nabothe area between the Buffoor Castle and Nabothiyya City the Israelis attempting to take over Ali Tahir Hill. It's been now a week of direct confrontations where they have fell into one trap after another and have lost many commanding officers that it seems like Hezbollah is hunting these officers. It's not only randomly attacking advancing forces but but is hunting the commanding officers. There's only in the last two weeks a list of at least 12 high ranking officers that have been liquidated in the south of Lebanon. So the more the Israelis attempt to push further in south Lebanon, the more casualties that they are facing. And this is driving them into this vengeanceful responses of attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure as the only version of warfare that they feel that they can succeed in. And I think Hezbollah has made it very clear they will not cease. And Israel continues to fire as we saw with what the Israelis mean when they say cease fire, they mean you cease and we fire. And that's not going to be allowed to happen. And Iran gave the United States a chance to curb this rabid dog, this Jewish colony, in order to bring peace to the region and allow the flow of oil and trade in the world. But the United States hasn't been able to rein in this rabid dog yet and it is continuing to commit these genocidal actions, but that will not break Hezbollah. In fact, I think Hezbollah has found the sweet spot of and the perfect tactics in this confrontation over the last three months and has been succeeding in causing the most massive losses Israel has seen in any of its battles since the collapse of the Soviet union in the 1990s.
George Galloway
What about Palestine? As they get frustrated in Lebanon, they take it out on the refugees in their tents in Gaza. Another two people killed today, presumably by AI direction. Every day I'm posting whole families, whole bloodlines that are being wiped out in Lebanon. And in Palestine, they say openly smartrich Ben gvir but others also, Katz has said so that they now possess more or less two thirds of Gaza. They are systematically destroying it. And Smotrich was honest enough to say, the reason we are destroying this place to the ground, to the very last brick, is so that there is nothing left to return to. And the only option will be emigration. That would require the Palestinians to agree to immigrate. It would also require somebody to agree to take them. But they don't seem to think that far ahead. How do you see the Palestinian situation now?
Laith Marouf
You know, I think obviously the Palestinians will be refusing to leave their land. They've learned the lesson from 1948 and 1967 when the world told them that there is such a thing as international law and the right of return for civilians that leave a combating area at the end of hostilities. And that didn't happen. So there will be no chance that Palestinians leave at mass their land and they will choose to die in dignity on their land rather than become perpetual diasporas at the whims of the Western control. So the reality is that the minute there is a ceasefire on the front in Lebanon and on Iran, the whole world's attention will be refocused on what's happening in Gaza. And we will see a commencement of pressure globally on the Zionist colony to cease its genocidal actions in Gaza. And this is why the Netanyahu regime is unable to accept ceasefire everywhere else. It knows the reckoning will be coming the minute no more wars are playing out in Western Asia and everybody's eyes are back on Gaza. So I think we will continue to stay in this loop until there's a full uncontested defeat of the Zionists. This is the only thing that's going to stop them from committing genocide, not only in Gaza, but the rest of the region. And the axis of resistance that has been trying to be the mature party, the more logical party, by, you know, accepting these ceasefires over and over is now, I think, on a global level, most of humanity can see that Iran and Hezbollah or even Hamas are more rational than the Zionists or the leadership in the United States. And that is playing out perfectly. So when there will be retaliation, and I believe there will be retaliation from Iran against both the genocide in Lebanon and in Gaza, the whole world will, will be celebrating at that point, because everybody would see that Iran and the axis of resistance have only used the force in a rational manner and not in a vengeful manner, as we see
George Galloway
the Israelis doing Forgive me for this final question, Laith. I hope it doesn't in any way inconvenience you or embarrass you. As you know, I was very close to Arafat for many decades, from 1977. I was in the hospital when he died in Paris. And he made some mistakes, of course, but he also had many achievements. One of them was to ensure that the Palestinian issue never went away. It never went into the museum, but he always used to say, the Palestinians have only one address, meaning him, meaning the plo, meaning wherever he was. What is the Palestinian address now? There seems to me a dearth of leadership given the imprisonment of Marwan Barghouti, who is the leader of the Palestinians. What is their address? And actually why are they so quiet, so absent from the news, from the argumentation over these issues? I never see them, I never hear them.
Laith Marouf
Well, obviously you did mention that martyr Arafat was poisoned by plutonium and he was taken out of the picture to make it that there is no clear leadership for the Palestinian people. And the replacement for him, Mahmoud Abbas, is a total collaborationist, Vichy regime kind of style of man who's now turned the Fatah party and the PLO in general and the Palestinian Authority into a family business whereby appointing his son as his replacement and kind of destroying whatever remainder of Fatah democracy or what have you, representation of the people may have been left. At the same time, the leadership of Hamas has been assassinated, martyred, Sinwar and martyr Haniyeh that were killed on the battlefield in Gaza and in Tehran. And now the only representative for the Palestinians is the refugees, children that are surviving and by their mere survival are standing in the face of the most vicious empire humanity has known and its most vicious colony that also we've known. And I think the bullet right now is the only representative of the Palestinian people. And that bullet is backed by the axis of resistance. And so the Ayatollah Mushtaba Khamenei, when he is, you know, negotiating this, deals with the United States and the whole axis of resistance that has risked life and livelihood for the defense of Gaza since October 2023. These are, this coalition of humanist force is the one that is going to be helping in the liberation of Palestine. So we will see. I think, you know, and I'm a very. I'm very saddened, of course, as a Palestinian, to see where we are. But I know that the leadership of the resistance in Gaza, when they took the decision to launch the Al aqsa flood in October 2023, they knew they may not be alive to see the end of this path, but with the trigger of that flood, they have taken down with the tsunami all the power of empire that has been accumulated over a hundred years. The power of the Zionist lobbies around the world and the power of the controlled media and propaganda that has been accumulated in human minds since the end of World War II. I think the end of this will be a human celebration. I don't know who will rise at that moment, but at this moment I can say to you it doesn't matter that there is no clear leadership for the Palestinian people because we are way past that. And the flood will erase the memory of Zionism very soon.
George Galloway

Tell Good evening, Mr. Galloway. I trust you and yours are well. I'd like to say that like you, I'm a simple man and I see the simple facts. When Mr. Shalom burnt on becomes the fifth elected Prime Minister or Prime Minister of this country very soon, which has been flagged for a while now, he's still a Zionist like the man there. I can't remember his name. He's so meaningless. When he becomes the fifth unelected prime minister of Britain, that means that he's guaranteed £100,000 no matter what for the rest of his life. When he leaves in about a year's time. After that, I'm a simple man. 20 doctors, 15 teachers and looking at you and your party. These are issues that the people in this country, in Great Britain, it can be Great Britain again with people like you party pushing it forward. We need to get this message. They are screwing the hard paying delivery Deliveroo drivers on the push bikes who take pictures around, they pay more tax than Starbucks, yet they profligacy in this issue of Pastor Parcel or Pastor Prime Minister, really, really think that you and your party can push the envelope on this because there is so much nonsense. This man's a trillionaire, a billionaire. They are nothing other than leeches, they don't pay taxes and for anyone to pretend that they're anything special, it's quite laughable. What say you, sir?
George Galloway
Well, I couldn't put it better than you did. Hilariously and pungently, that's exactly what they are. The Crime Minister. That is terrific. Frase is born with that one. Andy Burnham will be the new Crime Minister, but he won't be any different from the old Crime Minister unless we force him to. I mean, the way I look at politics, I measure a democracy not by how many identical parties there are in elections or how much balance there is on the television in election time. Never found much myself. I measure it by the ability of the people to change the course of things. As a good friend of mine in China put it, in China, you can't change the party, but you can change the policy. In Britain and America, you can change the party, but you can't change the policy. And China's change of direction over the last 40 years is obvious and is a very obvious success we have been pursuing over the last 40 years exactly the same policy, whoever was in power and its absolute disastrous failure is obvious. A blind man can see it. So if we're not going to force our governments to change the policy, change the direction, well, frankly, we deserve what we are going to get. It's time that people got up off their arse, get up, get out and vote for real change. If you do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result, you're a lunatic. As a very clever man called Albert Einstein once said, the points that you made about the bonanza within which these people live, they're claiming hundreds of thousands of pounds in expenses with big salaries in the past were buying property in central London at the state's expense and then renting it out to other people whilst the state was paying them for the mortgage and then flipping what was their main residence. I could give you the names and pack drill people claiming that their main residence was a button ben in the Highlands of Scotland, not the one they spent five nights a week in that the state was paying for in central London and the capital gain on which went entirely to them. If you were a Member of Parliament, as I was from the 1980s. I did not. As is well known in the expenses scandal, I came out squeaky clean. Much to the chagrin of many, many a listener. If you'll remember Terry, there's a YouTube sketch on it. I didn't myself but I could give you the names of people who bought property in London at the state's expense and now own 2 and 3 million pound houses that the state paid for and is now their pension. And they can sell it anytime they like, make the capital gain and pay nothing on it. These are robbers. At least Dick Turpin had the grace to wear a mask. Dick Turpin was a famous highwayman footpad in England. For those overseas. Thank you, Terry. On YouTube you can scan the QR code, leave a comment, keep it clean. I'll try and read it out like this one. Fix in man says will Andy be different from Starmer? Just tell him to say on camera Israel is a genocidal apartheid state. Well actually he said on camera just two weeks ago that there was no genocide in Gaza. So he's done on that one. He's trussed up like a kipper, kipper hazelnut surprise says Burnham will be no better. MI6 will tell him to be a nasty nasty towards Russia and lovey lovey to the Zionist entity. And Paul Metz Cohen says Burnham is an Israeli agent. Be under no illusions about this man. James Klugman, great name says welcome to Ben Gurion Heathrow. Open your bags and phones and humongous shift sends $4.99. Thank you for that. The mayor of Manchester, GG on line two is Lance in Canada on Lebanon. He's always worth hearing. Actually Lance, on you go. Sir,

I. Well actually I. I wanted to just send my best to the people of Lebanon and thank you for the message you've delivered on it for years. I know I've. I've never really met a Lebanese person I didn't like. They always seemed like such friendly, wonderful, hospitable people.
George Galloway
Wonderful.
Caller Lance
I just hope that somehow eat their homes and, and somehow this hate machine that's they've been cultivated and rising for years doesn't arise.
Caller Clive
I don't.
Caller Lance
As far as Israel goes, if our foreign policy goes, I don't really see a difference if Starmer goes out and somebody else goes in. You're going to end up with the same thing that way probably. It looks to me like the people at the top are trying to push those right wing people in England now like Farage and Robinson and you know it's got that Kid Katie Hopkins on repeat. So obviously trying to search some kind of in Britain to distract the British people from what's going on elsewhere, in my opinion. But anyway, I just wanted to thank you for all you do.
George Galloway
Well, thank you, Lance. You've made your point very cogently. I think it's complicated. I think the deep state has decided to give Andy Burnham a try and they've done everything to make sure that he got back into Parliament, that he will become the Prime Minister. And there must be a reason for that. I think they tried Keir Starmer and found him wanting. Now they have encouraged the whole political system, the whole, especially the BBC, but the whole system, newspapers, television, civil service, everything has been bent towards getting Burnham back into Parliament and getting him in 10 Downing Street. There must be a reason for that. And that reason is that they fear that the project, the stability of the project was endangered by the intense hostility towards Keir Starmer. It's difficult for those not in Britain or who have not been in Britain to know just how hated this man was and is. I mean, metaphorically. There will be the popping of champagne corks all over the land when he announces tomorrow that he is going. I've never known a political figure as viscerally hated as Starmer. And I've known some really hated political figures. I mean, Margaret Thatcher was viscerally detested by huge parts of the country, but not by all the country. Stammer is hated by all the country because he's fundamentally a sleazeball. He's fundamentally doubtful, he's fundamentally dishonest. As I said earlier, he makes Boris Johnson look honest. And trust me, that ain't a small achievement. I think they don't want Nigel Farage. I think Nigel Farage is balloon is beginning to deflate and there are a number of reasons for that. And if I can blow the trumpet of my people, I hope I'm right about this. I believe I am. The majority, the great majority of the British people will not vote for race hate. They will not vote for racial hatred, discrimination and deportation and re migration and all the Alphabet soup of the rhetoric of these creatures of the right. Low is even worse. Even lower is well named low. Rupert Low couldn't get much lower. A man who's in a grisly embrace with Tommy Robinson. They don't. The British people won't elect these people. And I think the failure of the last three by elections where reform had on the face of it, perfect demographic conditions and perfect hatred of Starmer to run against and they failed in both cases, dismally in both cases. And even the third that they won, they won it by four votes after a dozen recounts. They should have won it by a country mile. They won it by four votes. That's three parliamentary by elections in a row. And we now have the very familiar process of people elected in May as reform councillors going to jail, having to resign in the midst of scandal, being caught, fabricating their expenses. It's a well trodden tradition of reform and their predecessor parties and we're now seeing it again. Many of the by elections being created now are resigning Reform councillors only just elected, but now being forced to resign because of malfeasance of one kind or another. So my take could be wrong that the machine, the deep state, has decided to put their money on Andy Burnham. Now, if Andy Burnham merely continues the policies of Keir Starmer, I predict that that isn't going to work. Thank you very much, Lance. A big thank you now to some of today's top Moats supporters who backed the program through the website Moats TV. Aubrey Aldridge, Robert Spenceley, Paula F. Soto, Alan McClernan and Gary Gee. A big thanks to every one of you and a thanks in advance to every one of you who is going to give on the website Moats TV before they retire to bed this evening. Because otherwise you'd be freeloading on me and I don't think you're that kind of person. Let me take live from Iran. Whoa. My good friend Hussein Shafi, Chairman Haas, who's an author, journalist, and he is, I think the best broadcaster out of Tehran right at this point in time. Uncle Hawes, good to see you. What can I do for you? Or what are you going to do for us? What have you got to say?
Hussein Shafi
I can tell you that I've been on a personal journey. I have. I decided to come to Iran because as far as I was concerned, you know, George as well as I do, so many people that turn around and say, when you are standing up for a country, when you're standing up for a cause like we're standing, we stood up for Gaza, we stood up for Palestine, we stood up for Lebanon, we stood up for Iran. The favorite line of almost every single one of these people who are Pahlavi supporters and the people who are supporters of, you know, of the, the Israeli state is why don't you go back to Gaza? Why don't you go back to Iran? Well, that's exactly what I did. You know, I'm, I'm half retired Already I don't have a lot to do. My back was broken, but I flew back because I felt like if, if I'm sitting here saying to people, I want you to stand up and fight and in Iran they're under bombs, then I need to be able to do the same thing. I need to be able to come and stand under the very same bombs as everyone else is and suffer the consequences of that. I'm quite happy to do that because quite frankly, I think it's the only right thing to do. You can't expect or ask other people to stand in the line of fire while you're sitting there in your house in Bayswater enjoying life.
Caller Dennis
You are listening to the mother of
Hussein Shafi
all talk shows podcast, George Galloway. Help change the attitude of people towards Iran. Because you know as well as I do, George, the first word that comes out of the mouth of Donald Trump is Iran the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. And what is the biggest state terrorist? It's Israel. And you've put up a video of something that broke my heart, George. This is the, the Gates of Minab, the school that I went to visit yesterday. I'm still in the same area.
Caller Dennis
And
Hussein Shafi
it broke me, George. I was. My heart was broken while I walked around there. And the number of kids that you see and that are still coming to that school right now to see their friends, to see the people that have died, you know, to come to those graves. And there's people still searching the place. They found like four fingers of, you know, the people. Because this place was hit by three Tomahawk missiles. One, then they waited, then a second, then a third. I think it may be the first time that's a triple tap instead of just a double tap. And you can see there's piles of rubble and there's people working behind those piles of rubble. And they're using these very small metal diggers in their hands, what do they call them, spatulas or whatever, and they found three fingers. And they're still, to this day, we're 110 days down the road, they're still trying to find body parts of people so they can give them to the families. Just behind that grill. There we go. At this stage, when I saw all
George Galloway
of those body parts of little children, to make it even worse, I've watched your broadcast from there and many others, and the verisimilitude that you bring by being there and being a known personality, leading member of our party, I'm glad to say you have brought a reality, an authenticity of basically An Englishman. You speak the Queen's English, although you were born in Qatar and you are in fact Iranian. You sound like if you turned the vision off, you could be one of the Queen's advisors. And I just think that what you're doing is so valuable and it's working. The Iran World cup team experience is a good example of that. The whole world who doesn't have a team in this and as a second team to those that do is right behind Iran because of the way they are being treated and because of what's happened to Iran, don't you think?
Hussein Shafi
100%, George. It's absolutely unbelievable that the levels that these people have to lower themselves to, to bring such a disadvantage to the Team Mendy that they are, they're effectively cheating. They're forcing the Iranian football team to fly in on the day, play their game and forced to fly out again. No chance to get massages, no chance to cool their bodies down. They just, they just said you've got to go, you can't stay here. And they've got a 50 man team, the team Meli, and they're not allowed to bring the 50 people over. There's about 18 people that are not allowed to fly over. And it's just wrong because, you know, if you look at Belgium, if you look at Egypt, if you look at all the other teams, George, they're all staying in five star hotels that are like half an hour away. They've acclimatized to everything. I don't know if you know or not, but if someone flies up 35, 000ft then flies back down, it's not the same as living in the same area that you're going in a bus in. And it impacts your health and it impacts your physique and impacts your ability to actually endure what you've got coming, you know, in a game of 90 minutes. And they're just cheating because their attitude is like they just want to punish Iran. But the good thing is, as you said, the whole world supports Iran. The whole world has supported Iran since the beginning of this war because this was such an unjust war brought to bear on a nation that didn't attack anyone. And you know as well as I do, George, what Iran is capable of with its missile systems. But it hasn't used them in a way to actually destroy everything. It's gone to military bases and it's targeted military equipment. It's the assets of the United States of America. They've taken out their, what's it called, their bases They've attacked Israel, but they haven't gone out of their way to destroy civilian infrastructure. They haven't gone out of the way to destroy civilian buildings, which is why there's hardly anyone dead in Israel. Whereas Iran has had in the first day, as you know, the 168 kids, the whole family of the leader, the supreme leader, 13 scientists, some 25 generals in all. George, 223 people were killed in the first day. Who? Who Basically, and I'm going to tell you something that you don't know. I'm wearing black at the moment, George, and I'm wearing black for one day. For every person that was killed on that day, which was 223 people, I will take off my black clothes, which are the black clothes of mourning on the 9th of October. And I started wearing that on the 28th. And I don't think it's right that you get to kill the leader of a country. Can you imagine if Donald Trump was killed by a missile? What would the Americans and what would the Western Europeans do if they were targeted and they were just murdered out of the blue? What do you think would be the consequences of that? And yet Iran has been told that they've got to sit there and have peace negotiations with this person. I don't know. I'm just not happy.
George Galloway
I'm not sure these. I think that's very powerfully put. Do you think these peace negotiations are going anywhere? I mean, I described in my monologue the state of chaos of American policy and pronouncement right at this moment is impossible to decipher from the ravings of a madman in the case of Trump. And God knows how Vance handles it. But it's difficult to decipher whether he's going to these negotiations with a view to getting settlement, or he's gone to Camp David to plan another war.
Hussein Shafi
The situation over here is very complicated, George. Not a lot of people are quite happy to tell you what's happening in the country. What I can say to you that Iran is not a unified country at the moment. There are divisions within the government, as in there's two parts of the authorities of this country. There's the Supreme Leader, which is called the Rahbar, the House of the Rahmah. And then you've got the government ministers, the president, Kali Baf, and all of these people. It's come out in the last few days that in fact, the Supreme Leader was not happy with the negotiators negotiating anything to do with nuclear weapons. The negotiators went to Pakistan and negotiated things to do with nuclear questioned that was something they were forbidden from doing. And they were told not to do it and they did it anyway. The negotiating team of volleyball and the rest of them, I wish them the best of luck. But the problem is that there is a lot of people in the country right now, and it's the majority of the people who are out on the streets are not happy about these negotiations. And I was at an event outside the Ministry of Foreign affairs when the news came out of the actual ceasefire. And the crowd, there are groups of people called ngalabi, which means revolutionaries. So that's a specific kind of people. And they're the ones who are the most forthright in letting people know what they think of the government. And they're not happy with it. And they're supporters of Sayyid Mushtava. Sayyid Mushtava Al Khamenei, and they're not happy. And I said, because I was supposed to be one of the speakers, I just wanted to say to them, don't think there's going to be a ceasefire. There will be a ceasefire only on paper, but I assure you it won't last more than 72 hours, the way Israel understands ceasefire, which means that they're just going to carry on attacking. And that's what I said to the people. I said, don't be upset. There will be no ceasefire. And that's exactly what's happening at the moment. There is no ceasefire because Lebanon is getting burnt on a daily basis. Gaza is still getting people killed every day. And people are forgetting about Gaza, but Gaza is actually part of it as well. Even though I understand they've got their own peace settlement with them. The Iranian people are not happy about Gaza getting killed, people, Gazans getting killed. And there is no way that the people on the streets. I mean, for instance, just to give you an idea, in Isfahan last night, there was a crowd of people in their thousands that chanted for five minutes and like 45 seconds saying, a chant of president possession. You need to fight or defend Hezbollah. As I said, you need to get involved in physical interaction on behalf of Hezbollah. That's not a small amount of people. They're an important part of that. I mean, I just, I hope that we can get peace, but I can't see how we can get peace with Ben GVIR and what he's saying about how any one mother, the tier of one Israeli mother, is worth a thousand. What does that mean? He's you know, 9 million.
George Galloway
We know what it means. Some people is worth far more than the blood of others. Listen, horse, I've got to go on because Max Blumenthal awaits. But the very best of luck to you there in Iran. Everyone must follow you on social media. I'm seeing your work on Facebook and on Twitter and on Instagram. Everyone follow Hussein Shafri and get the real story from the streets of Iran. Thanks very much for joining us. Let me take a quick break and then the one and only Max Blumenthal, the greatest journalist in the United States of America, is our guest tonight. Stay tuned. You are listening to the Mother of all talk shows podcast with George Galloway. Has Trump really fallen out with Netanyahu? Yes or no? 30,000 people have opined it's closed a little bit, but most of you think he has not. It's only me, it seems, who thinks he really, really has. We'll see if Max Blumenthal agrees with me or with the majority on this, this poll. Max Blumenthal I described as the greatest journalist in America, and there's a lot of competition for that title, but he thoroughly deserves it. And he is, of course, the editor of the Grey Zone News, which breaks regularly the most important stories in the United States and have correspondents like the estimable Kit Klarenberg, for example, in Europe. They have outstanding writers everywhere, but their coverage of global events is absolutely indispensable. Let me read some comments. Steve.mt3238 says the apparent falling out is merely more Kabuki Theater and Uzi 1mm, great name. Says doesn't matter whether he's personally fallen out with Netanyahu. He hasn't fallen out with Zionism. Peace lover 2024 says for three months Trump played the stock market for his advantage and now he is playing the fell out with Netanyahu. It is fake. We are being played. And Porbi41 sends five US dollars. Thank you. And says, I believe Trump will stay in the war to hurt China since they get a lot of their oil from Iran. James Klugman again says, meanwhile, IDF Einsatzgruppen using white phosphorus and cluster munitions on Lebanese villages. Well, let's turn to the oracle Max Blumenthal on those and other questions. Max, thanks very much for joining me. I know you're pushed for time and we've only got you till half past, but so let me cut to the chase. Has Trump really fallen out with Netanyahu or is it, as some people think, just Kabuki theater?
Max Blumenthal
Donald Trump always disliked Netanyahu on some level, or distrusted him, it doesn't matter. Every US President has loathed Netanyahu. But there was a period where it did seem as though Donald Trump had or as though Netanyahu had won Donald Trump's trust. It was February of this year. Netanyahu was coming frequently to Washington. He got a kind of presidential style visit. And anyone who's read the reporting of the final, most decisive visit would know that Netanyahu settled into the head of the table at the, in the White House situation room and basically told Donald Trump, along with his Mossad director, how it was going to go down on February 28th when Israel would assassinate Iran's leader and other members of its leadership. And then a decapitation strike would lead to quick, swift and easy regime change. And Venezuela situation would soon ensue and there'd be, you know, Delsey Rodriguez, who'd be willing to do whatever Donald Trump and Israel wanted. And that whole scenario that Netanyahu laid out was discredited. Donald Trump's war Operation Epstein Fury has run up against the hard rocks of reality. He's less popular than before the war started. The global economy is in far worse shape than before the war started. His midterm hopes for his Republican Party are far worse than before the war started. And so the reality is forcing the figure more than any any other figure in American history, the one person who has been subjected to more Israeli influence than any other single American in the history of the world, Donald Trump, to actually step back from the Zionist logic which Netanyahu was able to sort of impose on his administration. They've sent JD Vance out to do all of the salesmanship. This is something JD Vance had wanted to do. And he's having a great moment right now politically. I don't know if it will last. And we can talk about why I don't think or, and I'm sure you share the same view, that the MOU might not hold. But Donald Trump no longer sees the world as Netanyahu wants him to see it. And you're seeing Mark Levin, who was Netanyahu's one of his main proxies, faces and voices in Donald Trump's inner circle. Coming to Israel soon on what he says is a family trip. It's actually so Netanyahu can basically brief him and prepare him to undermine Trump or bring Trump back into the fold. Israel Hayom, the pro Netanyahu propaganda paper in Israel, has published an article savaging Donald Trump and accusing him of failure and disloyalty and a total betrayal, basically speaking on behalf of Miriam Adelson, who is his top donor. And it doesn't have to do with Trump's feelings or his. His understanding of the world or his analysis. He barely has an analysis. It's about reality. And reality right now just does not align with Zionist logic, which is why these two, quote unquote, unshakable allies have been pried apart in public in a way we really haven't seen in our lifetimes, or at least since probably the George H.W. bush era.
George Galloway
And I never thought I would see. I share your analysis completely. It seems to me that whatever happens next, it's no more glad confidence morning for the Israel Lobby in the United States that strategic damage has been inflicted upon them by the things that Trump has said and the things that Vance has said. There's no walking back these things. If you declare that Israel is no more significant an ally than the UK Or France, then you really can't walk that back. If you say, as Trump did, that Netanyahu is a con man and on the principle it takes one to know one, there can be no more severe insult in Donald Trump's lexicon than that. There's no walking that back. What, you're going to give more money to a con man? You're going to drag us into more wars for a con man? And the. It's like spring has sprung. There's a new atmosphere in America. The polls reflect it. Even the mass media, apart from the New York Post, even the New York Times reflects it. I think it's a sea change. I'm glad to see you think the same.
Max Blumenthal
Yeah, I mean, look at what J.D. vance is saying. It's reality. He's just. It's the first time we've heard reality from a figure of this stature, including in the Democratic Party. You know, Tony Blinken would have never said, israel needs to do what we want or they will essentially dissolve as a nation. Because we provide two thirds of their defensive weapons, they cannot survive without us. Donald Trump, I believe, said that as well. But J.D. vance is articulating it more clearly. There's no walking that back. And it's partly because J.D. vance is in a race for his own political survival. There's no one, there's no clear successor to Trump or to the MAGA movement, which is now basically a collection of astroturf influencers, cronies and mafiosi because of the demoralization that the Trump grassroots has experienced since his failure to release, a refusal to release The Epstein files and then the launch of Operation Epstein Fury, which is crushing Donald Trump's base in the heartland because fertilizer has become so expensive, for example, and everyone's seeing it. The US media refuses to tell the truth. Or, you know, I was watching Fareed Zakaria earlier today, and he, he interviewed Phil Gordon, who is Biden's main foreign policy handler and also Kamala Harris's foreign policy handler, and they were talking about the mou. And you know, how this is this great surrender on the part of Donald Trump and that the war was a complete failure. He never mentioned Israel once, but I think everyone else is seeing it, that this was a war launched for Israeli interests in which Zionist logic was imposed on a US Administration through various means of influence. Many people wonder if there's bribery, but there's certainly was legal blackmail. If there's blackmail, but there certainly was legal bribery. And it was a complete catastrophic failure, I would say. And Robert Kagan, imperial planner Robert Kagan, the, one of the, you know, forebearers of the modern neocon movement, correctly said, this is the worst military defeat possibly in American history. You could say, well, you might say, well, how could it be worse than Vietnam? The economic damage of Vietnam was contained and the injury morally and physically, was mostly felt by the American poor and working class. But in this case, the economic damage is global. It's hammering the stock market, it's affecting everyone. And it was essentially a Zionist war. And so now Israel's going to have to pay some political price. And I think that when the. We're mostly focused on the Republican Party and Trump right now, but when we see the Democratic primary start to unfold, you're going to see a much more intense arena of contestation around this issue than in the gop.
George Galloway
Now, we only have time to deal with one other thing, but it's quite an important thing. And you alluded to it. Neither of us, I think, feels that the success of this MoU is in any way guaranteed. And I'm wondering if it's going to survive the week. I pointed out that Trump is now in Camp David. Why is he in Camp David? He never goes to Camp David. He prefers the flesh pots. No, he prefers the flesh pots of Mar a Lago, for reasons which will be obvious. Why is he in Camp David? Is there potentially something going on either with relation to Iran or maybe with Cuba?
Max Blumenthal
That's a great question. I don't know. I only know what's happening publicly with JD Vance in Geneva, where you have the Pakistani delegation and Galiboff and Aragchi, the two main Iranian negotiators. I guess Larjani would have been there if Israel hadn't assassinated him as they attempted to prevent this moment from coming to bear. And it's all about Lebanon. It's all about Lebanon right now in Geneva. Iran refuses to give up on Lebanon and the US would love for them to do that and just to hand Lebanon over to Israeli savagery. My colleague Wyatt Reid has been reporting on Southern Lebanon will be public, publishing a piece on what's happening right now in the south, probably by tomorrow. And what he's shown is that hundreds of thousands of Lebanese citizens attempted to go back to their homes in the south and they were massacred, they were bombarded, they were attacked, and now they're going, they're being ethnically cleansed all over again. And this is why Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz. I just a friend who's down in Bandar Abbas just sent me some photos of the Strait of Hormuz. And it looks like a little bit of a traffic jam there. I just saw it like, like right before we started talking, I saw those photos. So the MOU may have already collapsed. And you can see the, also the panic from Israeli cutouts in the U.S. including AIPAC, which attempted to present the the neutralization of four invading Israeli soldiers as a new kind of crystal knocked pogrom hate crime against Jews. They were killed attempting to attack a strategic hillside near Nabatiya, 45 miles south of or kilometers south of Beirut called the Ali Al Taher Hill. And Hezbollah just continues to ambush Israeli forces. They can't even get the commander out of the tank. He's been there for days. Which raises the possibility that Hezbollah may be able to take those bodies and use them as leverage, as they have done with Ron, Ron Arad, for example, back in the 80s. So Israel is suffering serious military setbacks. It can't disentangle itself from Lebanon. Netanyahu politically can't escape the Lebanese quagmire, so he keeps escalating with airstrikes, slaughtering civilians, ethnically cleansing Lebanese. And Iran will not give up on its ally in Hezbollah. It's not going to close the Hezbollah file and it will not abandon this population who are primarily Shia. I pointed out a few days ago that the Israeli army has been given orders to not allow the Shia population to return home. So it's an ethnic cleansing campaign, specifically targeting Shias. Iran's not going to give up on this. And I think that will be sort of the Achilles heel of the mou, and obviously Israel would like to exploit that vulnerability.
George Galloway
Max Blumenthal, as always, thanks for your time. Good luck with your next interview. Thanks for joining us on the mother of all talk shows. Let me go to Adam in Leeds on Andy Burnham. Go ahead, Adam. Hi, George, how are you? By the grace of God, Good. What do you want to say, Adam? Yeah, George, my question is just on foreign influence on the UK government. You know, George, I'm not a supporter of, you know, Palestine, I'm not a supporter of Israel. But one thing that has become blaringly obvious is Israel is committing a genocide and Israel influence on the UK government. And I was reading into Andy Burnham and his friends for Israel. How much influence do you think that's going to have on Israel and the uk, the relationship? And do you ever think we will get a government in the UK that will sever its ties with Israel? And if not, why do you think, well, only if you elect me and the Workers Party of Britain, we're the only party in the country that has no friends of Israel and never will have any friends of Israel. We get the politicians we vote for, or if we don't vote for them, we fail to vote effectively against them, we waste our votes or we stay at home. So there's a direct relationship in these matters. If the successor in Manchester, another Andy Burnham, then you can expect Manchester to be exactly the same as it was under Andy Burnham, run for the benefit of the skyscraper class, of the Epstein class, who have profited mightily from Andy Burnham's mayoralty. But the ordinary working man and woman have not done so. And the same is true on national politics. If you allow Burnham to, he will continue in his way. But if he calculates that an over identification with Israel, with Netanyahu, with Zionism, is going to cost him votes and cost him the possibility of power. A term, a good length of term as the British Prime Minister. Definitely he'll change. It's not as if he really believes in it. I mean, you know me, I think, Adam, the things I believe in, I would believe in if I was the only man standing who believed in them. And it wouldn't matter to me whether you wouldn't vote for, for me, couldn't vote for me or wanted to kill me. It wouldn't change my mind because I'm a conviction politician. I believe what I believe. Might not like it, but believe, please, that I believe it. That's not true of Andy Burnham. He wasn't a member of the Labor Friends of Israel until 2015. He became a member because he was going to run to be leader of the Labour Party. And at that moment in time, that was an absolutely mandatory condition of being elected as the leader. Now, it's a pretty good reason for not voting for someone. Many people think it's the best reason not to vote for someone. So it's a hate to use the word, but it's a dialectical matter. It's a dialectical question. There's a kinetic involved. If you put up with anything, you'll get everything that you don't want. If you don't put up with it, you have a chance of making sure that they are forced to reverse it. That's what democracy means. Thank you, Adam. This is the last Moat under the Starmer regime. I think that's a significant matter. I think it's a significant event and I like to think. There we are, there's. My goodness, I look better now than I did then, don't I? I hope so. I claim that we have played a significant part in the downfall of Keir Starmer. I believe that I, that we, the Workers Party, that you, the audience of the mother of all talk shows, millions and millions strong every Week, top audience 13.7 million in one week. We have played a big part in creating the conditions for the defeat. For it is a political defeat of the worst Prime Minister Britain ever had and we weren't pushing at a closed door because the vast majority of the British people are glad to agree with us. Now another big shout out to more of today's top Moats, Walter Lippman, Sally Soriano, Wilma Williams, John and Derek Blackmore. A big thanks to all of you for backing the program through Moats TV and helping to keep independent broadcasting on the air. I know that the rest of you are going to go and visit Moats TV and click the Donate now button and give whatever you can. Let's go to the UK where Clive wants to talk about another of StarMath's stupid ideas, the online safety bill, so called. What have you got to say on it? Clive?
Caller Clive
Good evening, George. Can you hear me
George Galloway
very clearly? Go ahead.
Caller Clive
Thank you for taking my call. Great show as always. My question to you is it's about the online safety bill announced by Starmer this week. I don't think the people in the UK are aware that the bill that's been pushed through as an identical copy of Australia's and Canada which pushed it through last week. But what it's doing is it means that all adults must submit their facial biometrics to go on social media. And this is of great concern to me. I know I've got a driving license which has my facial biometrics and that they have stored it somewhere, but you've got the NSPCC which is advised armor that this won't protect you children. And my concern is I think this is the first stage of pushing through digital ID by the back door. And really what I'm asking you is what is your advice to the British people about these totalitarian dictates? Because as far as I can see it, our God given rights are being slowly stripped away.
George Galloway
Not so slowly, Clive, at quite a rate of knots. I myself will not submit to any such digital id. I will ensure that my access to the Internet is not done in a way that they can harvest if I've always worked on the assumption that more or less everything that I do is monitored by the state and that they have regarded me for decades as an enemy of the state. But they were not able to do anything with that information thus gained because they were gaining it through illicit, illegal methods and therefore it was not applicable and it was not something that you could submit in a court of law, for example. But now they will be. Because as you rightly say, and I dealt with this on Wednesday at some length on my show, if you haven't heard that, please do listen to it. That the main point of the bill is not to get children to identify themselves as being over the age of 16, but to get the rest of us who have to prove that we're not under 16 to give all the information that Tony Blair, sorry, Keir Starmer desires from us so that they can store in one place and use if necessary the information that we posted this, that we said this, that we viewed this, that we read that, that we went to this place on the Internet. And we will have given them willingly, if not willingly, we will have given them legally access to our identity. And if you're prepared to go quietly into that good night. I am not. I am not prepared to allow the state to legally know, as opposed to illicitly know, legally know what I'm doing on the Internet. And I'll take every step necessary to stop them or obstruct them, at least to doing that. Not that I'm doing anything on the Internet of which I'm ashamed. I don't do things of which I'm ashamed. I do things of which I'm embarrassed, like taking a shit that would be embarrassing if it was on the front of the Daily Mail. But I could hardly be ashamed of it. I put it this way. If you caught me having sex with my wife, I'd be embarrassed. If you caught me having sex with your wife, I'd be ashamed. There's a qualitative difference between these two things. But whether you are or you're not doing things of which you'd be ashamed, why would you want to give Keir Starmer, Andy Burnham entry into your head, into your life? What good could come of that? What good reason could they, them as we know them, possibly have? What good intention could they possibly have? The truth is, we all know they have none. And once you've listened to, please don't forget to leave a review and rate the podcast, too. This week, the podcast. You know, this is my favorite bit of the show. This week the podcast is in the top 10 for politics in Romania, Bhutan and Uruguay and in the top 30 for politics in Liberia, Serbia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. How proud I am of that. Dennis is in New York and wants to talk about Viktor Frankl. I'm all ears, Dennis. What have you got to say?
Caller Dennis
Well, thank you again, George, for having me on and for all the good
Caller Erobos
work that you do.
Caller Dennis
I have to say that I mean, I watch a lot of your shows, as many as I can, as often. And your guest today, Laith Marouf, Max Blumenthal and the other gentleman whose name I can't pronounce, who was in Tehran, all represent, you know, the character and the quality. You'd have to look far and wide, long and hard to find someone with as much strength of character and as well informed and as unimpeachable in their ethics and their values as Leif Maruf and Max Blumenthal. And they just do such a great service.
Caller Erobos
And it's.
Caller Dennis
So the reason for my call, it was in your conversation with Laith about your relationship with the great Yasser Arafat and the plight of the Palestinians, that something I got clear on, something that we had, we spoke about the last time I called, and that is Viktor Frankl's book, Man's Search for Meaning. My father was a working man. He was a carpenter. And in a interview in the local newspaper 50 or 60 years ago, the reporter asked my father what motivated him to found the local volunteer rescue squad in Ellenville, New York, which he did. And my Father's response, simple response, and unequivocal response to that question was we need to justify our existence. And I've lived with that admonition my whole life and have been searching for meaning in my whole life because of how my father inspired me. And this is what I've come to now. Your relationship or your conversation with Lace Marouf and the plight of the Palestinians, Laith articulated and you that the Palestinians are bereft of a leader. They are bereft of a singular voice that can articulate their plight, the meaning in their lives and their vision. And I then got clear on something I decided a while ago. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to Donald Trump or to Netanyahu or to Zelensky or to Keir Starmer or to any of them. I've come to the, I think, undeniable and unmistakable conclusion that Western civilization has lost its way. We have lost any sense of collective meaning in our lives. All the turmoil, all the violence is a clear indication to me of that. And what I fairly now am expecting, because it has happened so many times in human history, I am expecting that a powerful voice that can articulate our flight and our vision will emerge. It is that time again in human history, and I believe we are on the cusp.
George Galloway
Amen.
Caller Dennis
Of a new revolution, of a new awakening. I truly believe that.
George Galloway
Amen. And beautifully expressed and very emotional contribution, Dennis. Extremely powerful. Everyone who heard it, I'm sure, will agree. I think it is, frankly, for our audience at least, a commonplace that we have lost our way. But not all of us. Not you, not me, not Laith, not Max, not Hoss, not the millions of people who will watch this show. We have not lost track of our purpose in this life. And however you put it, your father put it very beautifully. Justifying your existence. It's a very good way of putting it. I put it this way, that my conscience tells me what to do. And I consider my conscience to be my daily communion with God. That's why I've got a conscience and a tiger doesn't have a conscience. A gorilla doesn't have a conscience, but I've got one. And that's the mark of the divine. It's my contention that every human being knows when they're doing right and knows when they're doing wrong. And that's because your conscience, given to you by the Almighty, tells you. And so these people who go around the world, these merchants of war, either profiting from it or dealing it out, I believe that they will Come a cropper on the judgment day, and the rest of us will have a better chance than them. Those of us who strove for peace, those of us who strove for justice and equality, we will have a better chance making the final cut than them. It's funny you mentioned the rescue service, because my best argument against those who like to say it is human nature to be a rat, it is human nature to care only about yourself. It is human nature to cheat and lie and do anything that you can at anybody else's expense to profit yourself. That's the argument for the capitalist system that I've been listening to all of my life. I always use the rescue worker. I always use the firefighter. When a firefighter comes to your house, he could negotiate with you, you know, an individual price, and you would pay anything, anything at all to rescue your little girl up there in the burning building. He could charge you anything. But he doesn't. He doesn't pause to haggle over his wages. When he turns up to a fire, he plunges into the fire, even at the risk of his own life, certainly his own health. For me, that's socialism. Let me go to Jack in London on terrorism. Go ahead, Jack.
Caller Dennis
Hi.
Caller Jack
I came across something last week that I really wanted to bring to your attention, which was that apparently Tommy Robinson last year at some point managed to get. He was stopped and he had his devices seized at the court and the Terrorism act, as you also did, and he had his legal defense, I think, bankrolled by Elon Musk. And they came up with a very, very creative way of getting it ruled unlawful. And they basically said that the powers are given to the state to stop you for any reason or no reason, but they can't exercise it in a way that's discriminatory based on your political activities because of the Equality act and the public sector equality duty, and because of Article 14 of the Human Rights Act. And I thought it was a very, very creative argument that I wanted to be brought to. To your attention. And I thought various other people like Craig Murray would also be able to.
George Galloway
Yeah, I'm well aware of it, Jack, and so is my lawyer, to whom I've written this week in relation to my return to fight the election in Manchester. And we need to kick on, on that very point. It did help that Robinson had Elon Musk bankrolling them. And by definition, I do not. I'm suing Elon Musk, not the other way around. It did help that he had a judge, the same judge that upheld the recent case, or rather helped in bend, twist the law in the recent case involving the organization I cannot name but which has been proscribed as a terrorist organization in Britain, even though none of them have ever either performed, carried out or even dreamt of committing any act of terrorism, their position is they're trying to stop terrorism. And it was the very judge who sentenced them for terrorism for which they had never been charged, let alone convicted. That was the judge that found in favour of Tommy Robinson. But those two points notwithstanding, it is quite clear that they stopped my wife and I on a discriminatory basis. The law does allow them to stop anybody for any reason or no reason, as you said, but it doesn't allow them to deliberately stop someone because of their known and perfectly legal protected characteristics. Now, my perfectly legal protected characteristic is that I am against the NATO war on Russia. I am against the NATO war on China. I am against the Israeli war on Palestine. These are protected characteristics. These are my democratic rights under the European Convention and other under British domestic law. And if you stop someone because they have those views, you have discriminated against them unlawfully. That's our position and that's the position we shall advance in the legal proceedings underway. I've got a legend on the line, Jack so I have to love you and leave you. It's the one and only Erobos in New York on Iran Eerobos. Welcome back.
Caller Erobos
Fidelities, felicitations, Glenn Galloway to the mighty future mayor. You know, I would say Prime Minister, but the future mayor of Greater, as opposed to Lesser Manchester people of Moats, you know, the mighty Jaya, first of her name, you know, she's, she's felled by illness. I wish her well. So her sister Lila, the lovely is now beating the sword on the shield and representing, you know, with full gear, in full harness, you know, as they would say, the armor of God, you know. So to use that phrase, you know, more power to her and of course the donors that make it, make it possible for me and people like myself to be able to call into moats, very important big shout out to them, a special shout out, not just to the guests, but to Uncle Haas, being on the ground there in Iran, you know, reporting from the ground, Very, very touching indeed, as was the call of Dennis. I found out recently that Viktor Frankl was the man that proposed that he spoke about in one of his books, the dual state, which was the normative state and the performative state state of Nazi Germany. The normative state carried on all the functions, all the judiciary, executive things, administrative things, but the performative state was the guys that would come and kick your door down and drag you out in the street and shoot you in the head. So both of those. The dual state thesis that he presented is quite brilliant. Never read any of his stuff, but it's serendipitous that I recently found out about that. As Dennis was saying now, as time is always against us, as Morpheus told Neil in my favorite film, the Matrix, I wanted to speak, give my perspective of how Iran can win the war. Fundamentally, the axis of resistance is hampered from my perspective, based on their religious ideology. If they were doing, if they were going eye for eye, tooth for tooth, one life for three lives, one life for five lives, like these Levite Zionist characters do, there would be no nakba. There would be none of this foolishness about, you know, people living in tents. There would be none of that because their own children would be under the pain of destruction, their own institutions would be gone. And yeah, I mean Iran also has an eschatology as, as well as the axis of resistance, which means they don't mind dying for what they believe in. And it wouldn't be this, but the fact that they're hampered in my view, by their own religious morality. They're fighting on one hand behind their backs and so be it as it may. Now what I would do if I was the Supreme Leader is I would get a secular militia that's not bound or beholden by the Al Khattab Al Quran or any such moral mercy for the enemies and their children. Because when you just as an example, when you attack a military, all they do is repurpose the military and refill them with their population and the civilian populations. They're all reservists, almost 100% of them, about 90 something percent of them. My numbers might be wrong about that. But the point is, you see these so called settlers strapped with multiple machine guns, harassing and killing Palestinians, driving them out of their home. These are not civilians. And even if they were, they support a Nazi ethno supremacist ideology. So away with them as far as I'm concerned. So that's what I would do. That's all that's missing. It would remove the onus. I mean the burden mentally would still be there on the supreme leader were he to go in that direction. But you know, that's what needs to happen. Because the same way Germany was broken up and you stood for a long time in parliament trying to prevent and speaking against the reunification of Germany, even Margaret Thatcher. Thatcher the milk snatcher, Thatcher the crumb snatcher. She even agreed with you behind closed doors, you know, with an expensive purse and a clackety heels. You know, this is what needs to happen. So I just wanted to share that perspective and I appreciate Clarence Galloway, the future Prime Minister and future Mayor. God bless you.
George Galloway
I'm still here, Mr. Gas. Such a powerful, A powerful rejoinder for which no time exists for me to. To do justice. It is undoubtedly the case that those who have morals, those who acknowledge the existence of their conscience, have, as you say, one hand behind their back compared to those who have no morals, compared to those who deny the existence of their conscience. You could say that's what's happening in the conflict between NATO and Russia. And indeed, I think you have said that on previous occasions, and it's undoubtedly true, if I can refer to that conflict. How is it possible that Russia can be being hit every day by drones that were transported from Europe into Ukraine and then operated by foreign hands penetrating deep into Russia and murdering children? Not even Russian children in the latest occasion. Children who were on tour. Children as a football team from Belarus, a wholly separate state. But they were murdered by the eu. They were murdered by NATO. The trigger might have been pulled, only might, by a Ukrainian, but it was only possible because of the EU and by NATO. And so the question that many are asking is, how is that possible? Why are there still railway lines from Western Europe into Ukraine? Why are there still bridges across which this material is being conveyed? Why is there still electricity in a country that is destroying the lives of children as a matter of deliberate policy? The Starbolensk dormitory, the school bus, second school bus in a couple of weeks that was deliberately targeted. The poorest people in the country are traveling by bus. How is it possible that they are still able to do that? The answer is because Putin has a conscience, Because Putin has morals. He is not prepared to fight the kind of war that the Americans would fight, have just fought in Iran, that the Israelis fight, are now fighting in Lebanon and in Gaza. The Russians are not prepared to do that. And the result is this phenomenon of one hand behind one's back. It's an important philosophical question that you raise, which, alas, I have not time now to address, because here's the woman without whom the news wouldn't be the news. Here's Gayatri. What's rattling Gayatri?
Gayatri
Let's go to South America, where in Colombia at this moment, some 41 million people are casting their vote for the next President. So the first round of election took place end of May and out of a field of 11 candidates came out two. And the contest today is between Ivan Zepeda, who has an indigenous woman running as his vice president, and the two are supported by the current president, Gustavo Petro, and you guessed it, on the other hand, a right winger outsider called Abelardo de la Esprila. And he is, no surprise supported by Trump. He endorsed him this week, calling him the ten Tiger El Tigre. He says if he wins, he will have the total support and strength of the US behind him. Although don't we all want that? Now, who do we have in this Tigre, this Espriela? He likens himself to the Colombian Najib Mbukele, who is the President of El Salvador and is known to have an iron fist approach to crime. And so this Esprilla is planning a mega prison to really clamp down on crime his way. He wants to build mega prisons. He is actually a lawyer who in his past defended leaders of right wing paramilitary troops and militias. And it also helps the fact that he's a billionaire. Now, of course, President Gustavo Petro can no longer run, so his can candidate is running with his support. And in President Gustavo Petro we saw, of course, a staunch supporter of Palestine. He has officially recognized the state of Palestine in 2018. And in 2024, as the war continued on Gaza, he officially terminated diplomatic ties with Israel. And he formally joined the South African case in the International Court of Justice. And also domestically, he achieved a lot. He reached the country, Colombia reached the lowest levels of poverty since records began in 2012. So we are now witnessing a probable another coup of the right wing forces, as we have seen and witnessed throughout South America. And if this tiger will win tomorrow when we wake up, I think we are left with only a handful of left wing governments, socialist governments, that being Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay and Guatemala. And Nicaragua, sorry, Nicaragua.
George Galloway
It is a remarkable thing that they keep coming up with these gangsterish billionaires that Donald Trump seems to be in love with.
Gayatri
Yeah, he likes them.
George Galloway
He loves a tigre, particularly one with a gold earring and no doubt gold teeth in his jaws. If he does succeed, then Colombia will revert to the long period period in which I'm well familiar and was indeed involved with the long period of popular struggle. Because if he wins, it's clearly rigged. The rigging makes democracy and elections a farce. And it's a big mistake in the global south to fetishize elections and constitutions when your enemies are completely disloyal to anything called a constitution to anything called real elections. A critique I used to level, as you well know in Venezuela who infatuated about a constitution and regular elections which turned out to be not worth a hill of beans. God bless and save President Nicholas Maduro and his good wife in their dungeon in New York. The very dungeon that the Epstein, founder of the Epstein class class committed suicide in. It's been marvellous. Sorry to overrun to everyone who's been inconvenienced, but I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed making it and presenting it. God willing, we'll be back on Wednesday for the midweek mother of all talk shows, but only if you keep financially so supporting it. Okay, Moats tv. Good night. It's the mother of all tuck shoes. It's the mother of all talk shows. It's the mother of all duck shoes.

THE END | Starmer quitting | The Burnham coronation | Israel breaks ceasefire | Swiss peace talks
Date: June 21, 2026
Host: George Galloway
Main Guests: Laith Marouf (Free Palestine TV), Hussein Shafi (Journalist, Tehran), Max Blumenthal (The Grayzone)
Focus: Political crises in the UK and US, shifting geopolitics around Israel and Palestine, Swiss peace talks, and the nature of Western leadership
This episode of "MOATS with George Galloway" serves as a no-holds-barred analysis of seismic recent events in UK politics (the imminent resignation of PM Keir Starmer and the likely coronation of Andy Burnham), the breakdown in US-Israeli relations, drama in ongoing Swiss “peace” talks with Iran, and the continued violence in the Middle East, particularly Lebanon and Gaza. With perspectives from prominent guests and callers, Galloway dissects the collapse of established narratives and power structures across the Anglosphere and Middle East, while forecasting political and military outcomes.

Starmer's Resignation
"He turned out to be so dense, so sclerotic, so wooden, so tongue-tied... that he will go down in history as a notorious freak show who turned up out of the blue as Britain's Prime Minister for a mercifully short time." – George Galloway [13:00]
Andy Burnham’s Ascendancy
"Andy Burnham is a fraud. Or in northern parlance, real northern parlance, Andy Burnham is a Chancellor. He will take any opportunity to do anything that is required to get on." – George Galloway [18:15]

Trump vs. Netanyahu
"As the New York Times quoted him this very week, calling Netanyahu a con man, which is the worst insult in the lexicon of Donald J. Trump, being he himself is the ultimate con man. And one con man can't stand another con man operating on his patch." – George Galloway [08:05]
Analysis by Guests
"This is just the beginnings of it, and I don't think it's only about Trump... The more the empire invests in trying to defend this genocidal regime, the faster it will be collapsing." – Laith Marouf [23:55]
"Every US President has loathed Netanyahu... But reality right now just does not align with Zionist logic, which is why these two, quote unquote, unshakable allies have been pried apart in public in a way we really haven't seen in our lifetimes." – Max Blumenthal [71:45]

Breakdown in Negotiations
"It's hard to believe he's gone to Camp David to bird watch, if you get my drift. So we may very well be back into war after all of this." – George Galloway [04:20]

Gaza Catastrophe
"The only thing that's going to stop them from committing genocide, not only in Gaza, but the rest of the region... is a full uncontested defeat of the Zionists." – Laith Marouf [34:31]

This episode lays bare a moment of tectonic political transition: both in the UK, with the downfall of yet another centrist technocrat and the likely rise of a leader Galloway considers equally opportunistic; and internationally, with the severing of the “special relationship” between the US and Israel and the faltering of Western hegemony in the Middle East. The podcast interweaves this realpolitik with earnest audience engagement and philosophical calls for values-based leadership, underscoring that the crisis is as much moral and civilizational as it is political and military.
